00:00:43.780A photo meant to show UT students celebrating after a comeback win against Ohio State instead met with backlash.
00:00:50.820Republican Texas Railroad candidate Beau French noting the racial makeup of the students in the photo, saying, quote,
00:00:57.220quote, I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn't believe it. The problem is now
00:01:02.780obviously far worse than anyone imagined, end quote. French went on to say, while he rooted
00:01:07.920for UT to win, he weeps for the families in Texas who can't get into the school because they
00:01:13.060prioritize foreigners over Texans. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome on board today's edition of
00:01:20.040Human Events Daily. We're here live on Real America's Voice. Today is September 15, 2026.
00:01:27.220Anno Domini, and we're very proud and honored to have here on the program Anthony D'Esposito.
00:01:35.280He's the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Labor. Mr. Inspector General, how are you?
00:01:41.860I'm great, Jack. Thanks for having me.
00:01:44.560Well, we're very honored to have you on here, and we wanted to have you on because
00:01:48.740this question of visa fraud, so many of these things that have been going on in our society,
00:01:55.280Of course, in our country, we know that you are working hard to to crack down on this.
00:02:00.480And we wanted to get guys. Do we have the inspector general?
00:02:06.900Oh, got him back right there. All right. There was some fraud in the system.
00:02:09.920But look at that, Mr. Inspector General. You took care of it right away.
00:02:12.540Now the system has been reformed. Incredible work, sir.
00:02:16.960Thank you, Jack. Yeah. I mean, listen, the the department is working hard.
00:02:20.920Obviously, as you mentioned, we're dealing with this foreign labor visas.
00:02:25.020The fact is, is that many of these protocols and processes were put in place to help American companies and the American and make sure that they can move forward with with the correct workforce.
00:02:35.900And they've been extorted and exploited. And now it's only hurting the American worker.
00:02:40.820And thankfully, under President Trump and this administration, we've said no more.
00:02:44.620well it's incredible so so walk us through when as you've been looking through the scale of the
00:02:51.100problem is this something that is affecting the united states as much as many people suspect
00:02:56.620obviously we hear a lot from the tech sector we hear about these body shops that are essentially
00:03:01.800these these visa mills that are going on it's very of course um a hot topic online what are
00:03:08.020you seeing when you crack down and and get into the actual investigations yeah so i think it's
00:03:13.480actually worse than many of the American people actually think or know about. I mean, unless you're
00:03:18.480really paying attention, it's not the topic that a lot of Americans are focused on, but it should
00:03:22.940be. I mean, the idea that we're sending our children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to
00:03:27.920colleges and universities, and then when they graduate, they're having trouble finding jobs
00:03:33.440in what they just studied for four or, you know, more years, because those jobs are being taken by0.95
00:03:39.740foreigners and those that are, again, exploiting and extorting the foreign labor visas, that's a
00:03:45.580real problem. And it's not just in the tech sector. It's not just these witches, as we refer0.64
00:03:51.860them to, but we're seeing it in the medical industry and we're seeing it in other industries
00:03:56.560as well. And the fact is, is that these, again, these visas were made to make sure American
00:04:01.940companies can operate until they find an American worker to pay a fair wage in a job that they're
00:04:09.660protected. And what's happening is exactly the opposite. And you have these groups that are
00:04:16.280completely running visa mills. And what we're doing is, you know, it's an onion and we're0.61
00:04:21.420peeling the onion back one piece at a time. And I will say thanks to so many across social media
00:04:27.560networks and obviously the media, but doing conversations like this today are critically
00:04:32.940important because we are depending on whistleblowers who have worked or been part of
00:04:38.060some of these visa mills to provide us with the information that we need in order to conduct
00:04:43.160these investigations. And that's exactly what's happening. I mean, every time we do an interview0.75
00:04:47.620or we put out a social media post, our hotline is ringing off the hook because people want to0.97
00:04:52.680tell the stories of the fact that they were part of a visa mill and this is how it operated or
00:04:57.540they worked in a sector and they were unable to find a job because there were people from other
00:05:03.560countries that were taking those jobs, getting paid substantially less. I mean, those that are0.97
00:05:07.820working on foreign visas historically are making between 35% and 40% less than an American worker.
00:05:14.540So if you own a company and you have a couple of thousand H-1B visas and you're saving 40%
00:05:20.440per person, that's a lot of money at the end of the year that's going into your pocket. So
00:05:24.480we need to start peeling back this onion. And President Trump and Vice President Vance have
00:05:29.380made it very clear that there's no fraud too small, no fraud too big. So we're working from
00:05:34.920the top down, but we're also focusing on the smaller ones. I was in Texas just a couple of
00:05:39.080weeks ago at an industrial park with an office building with, say, 30 units. Every office was
00:05:48.040closed. The lights were off, but yet there were over 500 H-1B applications approved just in that
00:05:55.260building. These are jobs that are being taken away from the American worker. We're peeling back the
00:06:00.160Onion. We've recently suspended, I'm working side-by-side with Acting Secretary Keith Sonderling,
00:06:06.060we suspended H-1B applications for both Cognizant and Cloudera. They are two of the companies that
00:06:13.180you hear often who are violating H-1Bs, and we're going to continue again to peel back that onion,
00:06:18.700and I would, it's safe to bet that there's going to be a lot more companies suspended in a very
00:06:23.320short period of time. Well, I want to ask you more about that. Mr. Respecter, can we hold
00:06:30.140you can we hold you over for one more segment because a lot of the stuff that you said about
00:06:34.040i've got a lot of follow-up questions because this absolutely is absolutely huge stuff thank
00:06:39.140you very much there okay we'll be right back we are up against a hard break here human events
00:06:44.800daily on real america voice voice do not scroll away
00:07:30.140great job jack thank you what a job you do you know we have an incredible thing we're
00:07:36.140always talking about the fake news and the bad but we have guys and these are the guys
00:07:40.700who should be getting policies all right folks jack so we are back live here human events
00:07:48.660daily once again we are honored to be on with u.s labor inspector general anthony d'esposito
00:07:54.040now uh mr inspector general i wanted to you know let folks know tell us a little bit about
00:07:59.680your background because you know like unlike others i think uh career politicians and other
00:08:05.040and folks who have come into uh these various positions you actually have an investigatory
00:08:09.600background yeah jack thanks for the question you know one of the things that i was uh kind of most
00:08:15.600startled by when i was nominated by president trump to serve as the inspector general of labor
00:08:21.200which i think labor probably has the broadest scope of investigatory powers of most of the
00:08:26.240inspectors general is that uh a lot of them are you know not and not speaking ill of them but a
00:08:32.400lot of them are uh you know careers or uh happen to be in government and sort of lawyers or um and
00:08:39.920not many law enforcement not many investigators so i've been trying to change uh and and and
00:08:47.360improve uh the way things are done here at the department of labor giving my investigators
00:08:52.080There's a long leash of the ability to investigate things that matter to the American people.
00:08:57.600And that's exactly what we're doing in this case.
00:09:00.540And I've been asked many times, how far do you think you're going to be allowed to be able to push this?
00:09:06.100And I will say that, you know, when President Trump signed the executive order back in March and put Vice President Vance in charge of this fraud test for us,
00:09:14.300they made it very clear that they were going to unleash the whole government on fraud.
00:09:19.620And while we see fraud in Medicaid and Medicare and employment insurance, this foreign visa fraud is also something that is really decimating jobs in the United States of America.
00:09:32.000And what's better to focus on here at the Department of Labor than fraud that is actually taking American jobs from American workers?
00:09:39.920President Trump made it clear during his campaign and obviously in this administration thus far that he was going to and is reigning in the golden age of the American worker.
00:09:50.160He's going to do everything he can to give them better wages and have them have safer job sites.
00:09:56.660And by investigating foreign visas, that's exactly what we're adding to.
00:10:01.860You know, I said before, we're working really hand in glove with Acting Secretary Keith Sondling.
00:10:07.420We worked with him to make sure that these companies that are under investigation are now being suspended from applying for H-1B visas.
00:10:18.800And I can promise you that there's going to be many more companies to come because we are going to continue to peel back this onion.
00:10:25.180We are going to continue to, you know, I'm going to continue to utilize the investigatory skills that I learned in the NYPD.
00:10:33.160I was a decorated NYPD detective in Brooklyn, and it's different kinds of investigations.
00:10:39.160Back then, I was doing gun trafficking and homicides and gang investigations.
00:10:44.480But now, I'm taking those skills and hopefully bringing them to some of my investigators in the street to try to look at a different approach.
00:10:54.540We're embracing technology, and we are going to do everything that we can.
00:10:59.020And like I said before, as an NYPD detective, I was always told you exhaust every lead and follow every lead that you have until you can't anymore.
00:11:08.300And that's exactly what I'm asking my investigators to do is to follow and exhaust those leads so that we can bring justice to the American people.
00:11:15.740And if that means putting some of these CEOs and others in handcuffs, well, then so be it, because we said we were going to put the American worker first.
00:11:23.680And that's exactly what we are going to do.
00:11:25.620well i i couldn't agree more and the idea is now now walk us through some of this obviously
00:11:32.240that building you just mentioned you said there was a building of 500 uh they said visas had
00:11:38.300applied and and been issued i suppose to this uh this firm if i understand what you said correctly
00:11:43.380and yet you went to the building you found that the building was empty so so what are these firms
00:11:48.580doing where are the people well that's a good question and that's really what we're trying to
00:11:54.100find out. I think that what's happening in places, like I said, we were on the ground
00:11:57.880in Texas, went to this three-story building, probably 30 or 36 offices. Not one of them had
00:12:04.000the lights on. Not one of them looked like anybody was there and there was mail piled up in front of
00:12:08.620the doors. We actually did a news hit right in the hallway and weren't interrupted by anybody in
00:12:13.840their office. And out of those 30 to 36 offices, there were close to 500 applications that were
00:12:21.460approved for H-1B visas. So these are individuals that are applying for these, and I'm putting this
00:12:27.900in quotes, tech companies that are supposed to be working in this building, but clearly
00:12:31.960they are not performing the jobs that they're filling out on the applications. And that's what's
00:12:36.680so helpful in this investigation, the fact that we can work with Acting Secretary Sondling and
00:12:42.760the department, because the department is the one that's reviewing the applications before they go
00:12:47.920to Homeland Security. So we have the data, we have the information, and we are going to start
00:12:53.100working and peeling through each one of these documents to find out what these people are
00:12:58.260doing. I mean, we visited some restaurants in Texas where there were individuals on H-1B visas
00:13:04.080that were applied for by the restaurant, and they were working as waiter, waitresses, or
00:13:10.200hostesses. And now, no disrespect to anyone in the service industry, before I was a cop,
00:13:16.340I worked in the service industry, but we do not need people from foreign countries on H-1B visas working in the service industry.0.76
00:13:24.240Those are jobs for Americans that are going through school or really any American that is looking to pick up some extra cash in the service industry.
00:13:33.700So there is no question that these foreign labor visas are being exploited and extorted.
00:13:39.380And we are also seeing parallels to what we saw across the southern border.
00:13:43.580The Biden-Harris administration allowed close to 15 million people to pour over our southern
00:13:49.800border. And many of those people, I served on the House Homeland Security Committee when I was in
00:13:54.080Congress, many of those individuals were held hostage by cartels and coyotes. Well, we're
00:13:59.960seeing the same thing. We are seeing transnational criminal organizations as the catalysts of the
00:14:06.880individuals that are being brought into this country to work. They're holding their H-1Bs0.95
00:14:11.820visas hostage. They are taking some of their wages. They're making them live in really
00:14:17.260crappy conditions. And what we're also seeing is when their H-1B visa expires,
00:14:23.180they're making it very clear to these individuals, listen, we'll keep you here and you can work and
00:14:28.200we won't tell anybody that your visa is expired. But if you were making $20 an hour, now we're
00:14:32.740going to pay you $5 an hour. And many of these individuals, unfortunately, are staying because
00:14:37.420They want to be in America and they want to make the wage. But again, these are jobs for Americans.
00:14:42.280So not only are we focused on the jobs that are being taken away from Americans, but we're also focused on the crimes that are being committed while the visas are being extorted and exploited, whether it's human and child trafficking, whether it's being utilized by transnational criminal organizations.
00:15:00.680Like I said, it is a wide net that we are casting, but I am confident in my investigators.
00:15:07.000I'm confident in the work that we're doing, and we will, when the time comes, collaborate
00:15:11.620with other investigative agencies to make sure that we get the job done.
00:15:17.220President Trump, again, made it clear that this is the golden age of the American worker,
00:15:21.260and we are going to do our part to help President Trump deliver on that promise by making sure0.85
00:15:27.040that those who are completely utilizing these foreign labor visas for criminal acts and for
00:15:33.960taking away American jobs, we're going to hold them accountable. And like I said, where it fits,
00:15:39.500we will have handcuffs waiting for those who are committing the crimes.
00:15:43.940Well, I appreciate you saying that because it's something that I've spoken about. Well,
00:15:48.480in the past, I've talked about the J-1 visa program, for example, just obviously should
00:15:53.160be abolished. Just, I'd say from a personal level, the thing is rife with abuse because,
00:15:58.080and to your point that there are levels of this with the F suite of visas, which includes student
00:16:03.520visas, and as well as the H-1B, the HB, which are all worker visas, that, you know, I suppose there
00:16:10.180is a bit of a gray area where it goes from exploiting labor to just outright labor, human
00:16:17.200trafficking, because they bring people over and then suddenly it's, you know, you thought you
00:16:22.020were doing one job, now you're doing something else. Or perhaps the actual task that they have
00:16:26.120someone scheduled for or slated for is not what they're doing at all. And of course, why do the
00:16:31.720people stay? Because they want to be able to stay in the United States. So these visa holders have0.92
00:16:37.800the, or let's just say the visa managers have the ultimate leverage over them. And I think it's,
00:16:43.460and by the way, Mr. Spectral, you're far from the first IG who's brought this up. The Trump
00:16:49.700administration certainly is not the first administration to call it out, but it seems
00:16:52.840like the past ones weren't actually doing much about it. Well, we're doing things about it.
00:16:57.840We've already issued dozens of subpoenas. We've executed search warrants throughout the country.
00:17:04.260And I will tell you, without getting into too much detail on these investigations,
00:17:09.420these search warrants have also yielded positive results to other crimes like guns and narcotics.
00:17:16.000So we are we are doing something about it. And like I said, we're going to continue to press on.
00:17:21.620And thankfully, we have the support of President Trump and Vice President Vance's fraud task force that's run out of the White House.
00:17:28.280They are making sure that we have the resources necessary.
00:17:31.600And this is an opportunity for an inspector general, which I guess historically hasn't really happened.
00:17:37.400But this is an opportunity for an inspector general to work with their cabinet secretary to get the job done.
00:17:43.980People have said that they never thought that companies like Cognizant and Cloudera would be suspended, but yet we delivered on that promise, and they are suspended pending investigation, and there will be more to come.
00:17:56.840And I know you mentioned J-1 visas, and I don't want to tease it, but stay tuned for more on that, because some of the preeminent universities and colleges throughout the United States of America are completely exploiting the J-1 visa program.
00:18:13.620And we have information that's tying those individuals that are here on J-1 visas that are legitimately pouring money back to places like China and funding the CCP.
00:18:25.440So we have a lot of work being done in the foreign labor.
00:18:28.980Like I said, it's a team effort here in the Department of Labor with Acting Secretary Sondling.
00:18:34.900And we would not be able to do it without the support of the fraud task force led by President Trump and Vice President Vance.
00:18:42.060Mr. Inspector General, where can people go?
00:21:40.860The book, of course, is bulletproof and was honored to actually have the endorsement of Charlie Kirk on that book.
00:21:49.160Well, huge, huge trove of information dropped just last night.
00:21:56.120And I'm going to be honest, I don't even think I've been able to get through the entire thing yet with everything that's going on.
00:22:02.100But I've got the highlights for everyone because the team here at Human Events Daily has put together an incredible briefing for all of us here.
00:22:12.160An anonymous donor paid for the cremation of Thomas Matthew Crooks.
00:22:17.960And guys, if we can, let's get that image up from Thomas Crooks, not in his high school photo here, but actually what he looked like on the day of the shooting when he was walking around.
00:24:31.300Make America great again, President Donald J. Trump.
00:24:33.500Now, when he's referring to the things that Christopher Wray said, I want to remind you all, and if you read the bulletproof book, you would know exactly what I'm referring to.
00:24:41.480This is the fact that Christopher Wray, in the hours and when he was brought back to the U.S. Congress to testify on the assassination attempt, Christopher Wray spread the left wing lie that President Trump had not been shot.
00:24:59.060And he implied that President Trump had been grazed by broken glass from one of his teleprompters that was there on the stage during the Butler shooting.
00:25:09.800Now, anyone who has two eyes or even one eye can watch the video and see that the teleprompters are fully intact and this that this lie was a disgusting lie from the pit of hell itself, that they lied about the violence from the left that had been going on in this country, building and building and building.
00:25:32.920And then eventually erupted with the assassination attempt at Butler, the next assassination attempt at Trump International, the assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, and then, of course, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, of which we just passed the one-year mark.
00:25:52.460these people are evil the book is called unhumans for a reason because that is the demonic force
00:26:00.460that we are dealing with we are dealing with an unhuman force so this information
00:26:06.380using bob dole as a pseudonym on gun parts it is spilling out now and we need to dig deeper
00:26:15.120president trump now saying a democrat plot a left-wing plot to kill trump before
00:26:22.360he could take the election in 2024 and thomas matthew crooks was the tip of that spear
00:26:30.580incensed radicalized targeted he had a plan he had a plan to shoot the president of the united
00:26:43.840states and he very nearly succeeded if not for the grace of god and the protection of saint michael
00:26:50.520archangel that day in butler pennsylvania so of course we're going to get a full report on all
00:26:57.560of that for you and more as we as well as everyone else continue to dig through with
00:27:03.160We're at Jack Posobiec right back here at Human Events Daily.
00:27:25.060Of one university is one communist who man.
00:27:33.160One communist among the American advisors at Yalta was one communist too, Manny.
00:27:46.520All right, folks, Jack Wasovic back here at Cuban Events Daily, Real America's Voice. Folks,
00:27:52.000right now, we know that the major headlines are pushing down on things. We know that things are
00:27:59.900building. We're seeing what's going on in oil. We're seeing the way the market's reacting. And
00:28:04.720we saw that everyone, just when they thought they could catch their breath, the oil prices started
00:28:09.940spiking again. Now we're looking at the dollar and we're looking at the relationship that its
00:28:15.240movements are making with gold and silver. And we saw those record highs not long ago. Folks,
00:28:22.140these are the exact moments that I start paying closer attention, not less. And you should as
00:28:26.920well, because here's what I've learned. The biggest opportunities show up when everyone else
00:28:31.040gets comfortable. Headlines change, markets change, and the thing nobody worried about today
00:28:35.900has a way of becoming tomorrow's headline. Now, that's one of the reasons my wife Tanya Tay and I
00:28:39.820became clients of Allegiance Gold, because we treat protecting what we've built as seriously
00:28:44.860as we treat building it. With gold and silver off those record highs, the folks who have been
00:28:49.580waiting on the sidelines now may have a window that's worth a closer look. Now, if you've worked
00:28:55.020hard for your savings and your family's future, and I'm sure you have, don't wait until everyone's
00:28:59.140rushing back into the market. You got to get in now. You got to pay attention. Find out how you
00:29:04.820can move a portion of your 401k or IRA into gold or put physical gold and silver directly into your

00:29:38.880Well, folks, now, as I was just talking about there, you know, we look at the way that things have been kicking off in terms of the Middle East.
00:29:46.980We're looking around the Arabian Peninsula, and it looks like all corners of the Arabian Peninsula are now aflame.
00:29:54.420The war is now threatening MBS and his ability to maintain his crown princehood, if you will.
00:30:01.000And the Houthis, the Houthis have come online at the southern strait of the Red Sea,
00:30:06.620known as the Babu Mendeb Strait or the Gate of Grief.
00:30:10.280And the Houthis are pushing hard to now close that yet again.
00:30:15.380And of course, we saw them conducting attacks even at the Suez Canal.
00:30:21.160What does this mean? That Iran and their proxies are now putting pressure on both sides of the Saudi Arabian, the Saudi Peninsula.0.57
00:30:29.600They're now putting pressure on the Saudi pipeline as well as strikes from Iraq.
00:30:33.460I want to bring on now the executive director of the American Conservative magazine, Kurt Mills, to kind of walk us through and give us an overview of where things stand.
00:30:45.080I'm doing well, Jack. Thanks for having me.
00:30:47.020Happy to. So, you know, I've got the I've got the big map up here. Folks know I love a good map break. And I think it does really cut through the rhetoric where we can see that, again, this is the big asymmetric advantage that Iran and their proxy forces, their their friends and allies in the region have.
00:31:08.520And, you know, people thinking, you know, what's Yemen? What's Yemen? Why do I care about Yemen? How's it connected? Well, I point out that Yemen is directly adjacent to the southern mouth of the Red Sea and can cut off all shipping through the Red Sea the same way the Strait of Hormuz has been squeezed. Perhaps it's a little bit of a better explanation.
00:31:29.420Yeah. So, I mean, look, the Iranians themselves shrink from the term proxies. They claim that
00:31:37.000the Houthis are not directly a proxy of the Iranians. And I think the term perhaps
00:31:40.940slightly overstates the relationship. They are definitely a client of Tehran. There's support,
00:31:46.520material and otherwise financial. But the Houthis have made their own calls on a series of different
00:31:53.700decisions. And I think the evidence of that is that they haven't gotten in to the war in a major
00:31:58.040way until this point. If you sort of rewind back, your audience may recall that actually
00:32:05.260the Trump administration went to war, or at least a long skirmish with the Houthis, before
00:32:10.700they went after the Iranians. There was the bombing campaign that culminated in the Signal
00:32:15.280Gate scandal in the spring of 2025. This is before any hot war with the Iranians really0.96
00:32:21.440started. And the U.S. concluded, I think, that number one, that this is potentially
00:32:26.320more an Israeli problem than an American problem, as we, I think, saw in the signal gate chats
00:32:30.640themselves. But second of all, that these guys are determined fighters. These are the hillbillies of
00:32:36.140the Middle East, to be honest. There are similarities between these fighters. I think
00:32:41.220spiritually, it's sort of a qualitative argument with the people of Appalachia in some ways. And,
00:32:45.600you know, they're going to fight for their land and they have been a plucky enemy of the United
00:32:48.860States, but moreover of Saudi Arabia, their chief rival in the region. And you see for all of the
00:32:55.360munitions and all of the money that has been thrown the Saudis' ways over the years.
00:32:59.920You know, if there's nobody to operate these jets, if the military is not ready for this
00:33:03.180kind of showdown, you know, Yemen is like the Viet Cong, or sort of the Houthis are
00:33:07.720like the Viet Cong, and they are determined allies of the Saudis.0.97
00:33:10.880And this is coming just in time for the Iranians, because, of course, the Iranians are keeping0.91
00:33:17.440And this is now a second straight, a second theater to disrupt global oil.
00:33:21.700And that's why you're seeing the spike over 100 again. Remember, over the summer, they really kept this thing in the high 70s, low 80s.
00:33:29.500We have seen, you know, a 25 percent increase in either Brent or WTI over the last week.
00:33:36.020Well, and so and that's why we're seeing that squeeze, because not only are they putting pressure on now both straits, but what's what's the situation with this this pipeline strike?
00:33:45.960And I know at first the some of the Shia militia groups out of Iraq were sort of, you know, or I guess the government of Iraq was saying that, you know, those strikes didn't come from our territory.
00:33:56.140But now they've kind of admitted that they have because they've got this sort of rocky relationship, the government of Iraq, where they're obviously very close with Iran, but also close with the United States.
00:34:06.780So the pipeline strategy writ large has been what facets of the business community and facets of, I would say, the Iran hawk community have been selling as a way to circumnavigate the Strait of Hormuz and all of these different choke points going into the future.
00:34:24.360And so I think what is crucial here is that they are showing what was speculation before.0.78
00:34:30.100Can't the Iranians or their allies just bomb these pipelines as they're being built or as their construction?0.97
00:34:35.360And I think the answer is yes. So the primacy of water, the primacy of these choke points is not going away.0.99
00:34:41.700And so they bombed this pipeline and it's it's it's not so good.
00:34:45.840I think there's a lack of clarity on exactly who was behind it.
00:34:50.180There has been some reporting that it was actually the Iraqi PMF, which is an enormous militia, at least by the size of their inventory, where they self-report, over 100,000 in Iraq.
00:35:01.600Either way, these are allies, if you prefer, of the Iranians that are helping them out in their time of need.0.54
00:35:09.960And of course, as a as a prior naval officer, you know, I've I've always said that these folks keep wanting to think that you can you know, you can get away without sea power, that you can somehow, you know, go around it or go over it or go through space or we're not going to need it anymore.
00:35:25.500And we just haven't found anything yet that can really beat whether it's ocean going traffic in terms of the cost, in terms of time, in terms of ability.
00:35:37.620It's something I point out, even with data, people think, oh, Elon Musk has got Starlink up, and so communications are all running through satellites in outer space.
00:35:48.04090 percent of communications is done through undersea cables at this point, the same way that over 90 percent of goods are still shipped on the open seas.
00:35:58.200And, of course, at a time where I'd love to have a conversation about globalism and whether or not that's a good idea, because I think we are seeing the issues with it right now.
00:36:08.380No, for sure. And again, not to just reference the year old scandal, the signal gate thing, but that was actually as revealed. It's now public record. That's what Vice President Vance was saying in the signal gate chats against other administration officials, which is like, actually, how much US trade actually goes through here? Isn't this kind of a European problem? You know, maybe is this an Israeli problem? I think he was the one bringing that to the question. I think it raises large questions. You know, what are we doing bailing out the Saudis? What are we doing bailing out the Israelis? What are we doing in this part of the world?
00:36:37.300And what we're seeing, the Houthis particularly, I think it's always a fine line between a seasoned army or a seasoned fighting force and an exhausted one.0.83
00:36:46.200But I think very similar enough to the Taliban or HTS in Syria, these guys have been fighting a war for over a decade and they're battle heartened and their Saudi antagonists are not.
00:36:58.360And Saudis in a bind, you know, they could sue for peace with the Houthis, which is a humiliation for the crown prince.
00:37:06.300Or they could potentially take a bailout, probably most likely, I would say, from the Israelis.
00:37:11.860They already asked Washington, and apparently President Trump has declined to do that.
00:37:15.380And when I say a bailout, I say a military bailout, so like, you know, Air Force, air power.
00:37:20.600But the problem is Jerusalem or Tel Aviv is going to extract the concession that Saudi has to recognize Israel,
00:37:28.180the right, Israel's right to exist, that it exists, make the same call that the UAE did.
00:37:32.320And I just don't think the Crown Prince is in the position to do that.
00:37:34.580remember uh the crown prince is the de facto leader of saudi arabia but his father is still alive
00:37:39.700and so if he messes it up uh it could affect the succession and if there is a and it could
00:37:46.420yeah it could be pushed over to one of his cousins who are actually quite quite older than him and
00:37:51.140in fact his his line his uh his uh claim is is a bit tenuous to begin with just because of the way
00:37:57.380that um uh tenuous right because of the way that they're aligned to succession their game of thrones
00:38:01.700is a little bit different than the British Game of Thrones if it goes off of generations,
00:38:06.720not necessarily direct descendants. Right back, one more segment with Kurt Mills,
00:38:11.040the American conservative, Human Events Daily.
00:38:22.140This is the Jack Posobiec Appreciation Hour. I can say confidently, I believe,
00:38:26.380I think Josh Shapiro would be the vice presidential nominee if it wasn't for Jack Posobiec. And that
00:38:36.840All right, folks, Jack, we're still be back.
00:38:38.400Human Events Daily, Real America's Voice, finishing up our interview, going around the horn of the Middle East here with Kurt Mills from the American Conservative.
00:38:46.780And Kurt, last question to you is it's how how does this affect the midterms?
00:38:52.100And and in in relation to that, the inverse, I suppose, also true.
00:38:55.760how are the midterms affecting the military campaign? Because it seems
00:39:00.140that Iran's allies are ratcheting the pressure up as we hurdle closer to the midterm elections.0.94
00:39:08.740Society and their decision making, I think it's pretty clear that the midterms are an explicit
00:39:12.840facet of Iranian military and political strategy. They want to grind Trump, they want to pressure0.86
00:39:18.420him, and they view as waiting for the midterms, or I should say fastest within their cadre,
00:39:25.100trade's view, waiting for after the midterms is reporting disaster. After Trump, you know,
00:39:29.400takes his test, he'll be freed up to escalate or deescalate, potentially escalate ruinously from0.84
00:39:34.900the Iranian perspective. And they want to head that off. I think that the reality is that it's0.98
00:39:42.560also a facet of a lot of other American antagonists. The Chinese, of course, Xi Jinping
00:39:47.780is coming to Washington here in town in a few days. I think the Chinese are also going to grind1.00
00:39:52.960trump has potentially he senses out that the united states is overextended of all these wars0.91
00:39:57.680that trump is overextended um and so i think it is an actual strategy and of course we have open
00:40:03.680elections in a way that these societies do not and these countries are authoritarian systems
00:40:08.320and they view it as an actual political advantage but they don't have uh such uh routine verdicts
00:40:13.840on their leadership and so i think it is i think it is part of it yeah yeah it is kurt where can
00:40:19.520can people go to follow you? Yeah. So the magazine is www.theamericanconservative.com,
00:40:25.760founded by Pat Buchanan and friends against the Iraq war in 2002 for my own personal work. And
00:40:31.060I'm head of the firm. It is at Kurt Mills at C-U-R-T-M-I-L-S on X Twitter. And, you know,
00:40:37.760it's 2026. Just Google me. Thanks so much, Kurt. All right, folks. Now, as we're talking about
00:40:44.120the midterm elections, what better way than to segue to our next guest? Of course, you guys know
00:40:50.520him. It's the great Joe Bob needs no further introduction. The host of course of turning
00:40:55.780point tonight. What's up, Joe Bob. What's up, man? How you doing? I'm doing phenomenal. It's
00:41:00.740great to see you last week, by the way, at headquarters. Obviously I wish it was under
00:41:04.120different conditions, but you know, while we were there, we had a chance to sit down with Tyler
00:41:08.240and the team over at turning point action. And they've been telling me a lot about this new
00:41:13.980commit 100 program that action is putting out for specifically the midterm elections, how people can
00:41:21.180get involved the same way we did in 2024. And I wanted to get you on to kind of lay that out for
00:41:26.440us. Yeah. So, I mean, first thing, the super broad strokes of it, you know, as well as I do,
00:41:32.340Charlie was unique in the sense that he figured out how to bifurcate this media angle and then
00:41:38.200the actual election angle. I feel like there's so many people involved in the talking space and the
00:41:43.520media world that don't actually know how campaigns are won. They kind of talk about policy and
00:41:48.380ideology and all that stuff is great, but it really, it goes nowhere unless you actually win
00:41:53.640elections. So Turning Point Actions Commit 100 is just one of the many facets that Charlie had
00:41:59.640as to figure out how to actually get people that are favorable to the cause elected into office.
00:42:06.720It effectively, the basics of it is, look, we're going to ask people at the grassroots level to
00:42:12.780go find a hundred low propensity voters who are registered the correct way are going to vote the
00:42:18.880right way, but just sometimes don't make it to the polls for whatever reasons. Go flag those down,
00:42:24.580track those, those folks down, get them to vote to make sure they vote, whether it's, you know,
00:42:28.600handing them the ballot, depending on the state that you're in or getting them to actually mail
00:42:32.200their ballot in or show up to a polling place. Uh, whatever, whatever the, the process is get
00:42:38.040people actually to vote. So Turning Point Actions, Commit 100, they're in a couple different swing
00:42:43.600states, specifically Arizona, New Hampshire, and Nevada. And getting out in your local neighborhood
00:42:49.920is how elections are run. We talk a lot about federal policy, federal politics, but the people
00:42:55.800in your neighborhood are going to be the ones who actually decide elections, which is what Charlie
00:43:00.820was so passionate about and what Turning Point Action is really, really working hard to do.
00:43:05.160and and it's so simple to go through so it's tp action so folks remember turning point action
00:43:11.080is the political arm and you go to tpaction.com commit 100 in fact i think if you actually go
00:43:16.900to tpaction.com slash 100 it will pop up as well so tpaction.com slash 100 now for some
00:43:23.900folks if you want to actually travel to these battleground states if you want to go to places
00:43:28.560like arizona new hampshire uh nevada i think we're actually working i'm working at some
00:43:33.580dates in new hampshire myself as well as some of the others you can actually physically go to them
00:43:38.820and but if not if you're out of those states you want to travel you want to get involved in other
00:43:43.080ways this is a perfect way to do it you can do it from your own home anywhere in the country and
00:43:48.500there's even the turning point action app that people can download uh joe tell people about the
00:43:54.800app and how it makes it so easy for them to be able to just do this stuff from their phone so
00:44:00.060So this is, it's unbelievable in the way, just user friendliness, right?
00:44:06.680We would run campaigns, would use different apps.
00:44:09.500I don't need to get into the nitty gritty of what those apps were like, but they didn't work a lot of the times.
00:44:14.800And so, yeah, you know, short of being on the ground, knocking on doors, like you said, you can travel.
00:44:19.720Lodging can be accommodated if you go to TP Action slash commit 100.
00:44:24.400But really, there's also this huge advantage that we have now that we didn't have in the past, which is the app that can allow you to do a bunch of different things, track down ballots.
00:44:35.580I think there's phone banking also in there where you can do some phone banking specifically from the app.
00:44:42.440It puts it in this like super easy, intuitive interface that allows really anyone from anywhere to participate in the actual political process.
00:44:53.280tuning into the news is great but actually getting involved in the people in in the election process
00:44:58.740that gets people like-minded people into office is where uh people can be extremely important and
00:45:04.580valuable and this is what charlie was all about right charlie would have and i i was saying this
00:45:11.580all last week you know that charlie actually always used to say that we should have midterm
00:45:15.880conventions that this was actually something that i i have to think he was probably the first person
00:45:20.660I ever heard say it. I don't know if if that's, you know, the genesis of why they held the first
00:45:25.840one this last week. But he always said that we need something for when you're right at that
00:45:31.800Labor Day point, when you're getting kind of getting done summer, people are going back to
00:45:34.940school, people are clocking back in with with work in the fall is that, boom, suddenly there's
00:45:40.500this shootout to the election. And it's like, oh, my gosh, the election's in six weeks. What are we
00:45:45.620going to do? How are we going to build things? That's why Turning Point Action exists, because
00:45:49.700it gives you the ability to take action in your own area or to go to another area you could be
00:45:55.040the leader of your precinct of course and it's something that i remember in 2024 that charlie
00:46:00.160would be going around if he was in a car he was talking to the driver if he was going out to eat
00:46:04.500he was talking to people at the restaurant he was chasing ballots literally anywhere he was
00:46:09.240even and he would he would like text me or or just whoever be like oh i got that we need to
00:46:14.780get a ballot to this guy and you know he's uh you know i just he was driving and he's a great guy
00:46:19.040we got to give him his ballot and make sure he's a citizen, you know, obviously, you know,
00:46:23.940if it's like an Uber driver or something, I'm like, yeah, uh, okay, man, like I'll do it. But
00:46:27.860it was just, it just became like a habit. And I think that that's part of what committed 100 is
00:46:33.340about. So with Charlie, it would be like commit 100,000, right? We're not asking for everyone to
00:46:38.720do that. Just commit 100, just a hundred. That's, that's nowhere near as many. Yeah. And this is
00:46:43.440all this is all great and this is like the carrot in this uh this sales pitch uh but really the
00:46:48.680stick is that democrats are out in full force doing that right they they don't have kids they
00:46:53.320don't have family so all they have is time and they will go out and canvas areas and the only
00:46:58.400way that we can compete with that is to do it ourselves it's it's fantastic the turning point
00:47:03.380action kind of set up an apparatus that gives really anybody the ability to do that but yes
00:47:09.400It's great. We want people to win. But keep in mind, too, the other push factor is the fact that Democrats are out there in full force because, again, they don't have anything meaningful to do with their lives.
00:47:20.020So they just go knock on doors. And we need to compete with that. We need to we need to do the same, if not more.
00:47:26.460And the best way to do that is go to tpaction.com slash commit 100.
00:47:31.520Appreciate it, man. Joe Bob, where can they follow you? And of course, remind people where they can see you.
