00:01:01.340 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
00:01:05.480 Today's top stories.
00:01:06.880 The White House is urging a new Ukraine defense package
00:01:10.240 amid the Hunter Biden scandal and numerous investigations into his activity.
00:01:14.720 Next, the Milwaukee DA says that the Waukesha suspect's low bail was just a human error.
00:01:21.860 Third, China is establishing, the CCP establishing naval bases on the Atlantic Ocean.
00:01:28.600 And finally, Angela Merkel is finally, finally retiring in Germany.
00:01:34.220 All these stories and more ahead, Human Events Daily.
00:01:35.760 Well, Ukraine is back in the news.
00:01:49.700 Why is it in the news?
00:01:50.900 The White House is telling us that we need to be prepared for a new defense package for Ukraine.
00:01:57.260 We need to put American troops on the border.
00:01:59.540 We need to send American material.
00:02:00.940 We need to care very, very much about defending Ukraine.
00:02:04.880 And the only thing that Putin and the dastardly Russians will listen to is American metal and American muscle.
00:02:10.860 But the question is, why does this White House care so much about Ukraine?
00:02:17.080 Well, it's quite simple.
00:02:18.280 The Bidens have many reasons to care about Ukraine.
00:02:21.700 And at one point, they were getting 83,000 reasons per month to care about Ukraine.
00:02:27.660 What are we talking about?
00:02:28.660 Of course, we're talking about Hunter Biden's lucrative, lush deal as a board member of the Burisma Holdings Gas Corporation there in Ukraine.
00:02:39.340 We all know what that money was about.
00:02:42.400 And now when President Biden comes out and tells us that we have to worry very, very much about Ukraine,
00:02:47.720 it's very interesting to a lot of people looking at this who see it for exactly what it is.
00:02:54.620 So we're told that tomorrow, President Biden and President Putin of Russia are going to be holding a phone call discussing Ukraine and everything that goes beyond this.
00:03:05.400 Now, what's interesting to me, though, is if you understand anything about Russian intelligence,
00:03:10.000 about their capacity within the country of Ukraine, I guarantee you they already know everything that Hunter Biden was up to.
00:03:18.400 We've been through the laptop.
00:03:19.800 I've been through the laptop.
00:03:21.100 I still have a copy of the hard drive.
00:03:22.680 Human Events Daily has that.
00:03:24.620 I'm telling you, what we have is a tiny little thimble compared to what the Russians have on Hunter Biden.
00:03:32.120 Obviously, just obviously, all the stuff that they were accusing the previous president of doing with Russia or, you know, just doing well overseas,
00:03:41.220 I guarantee you Hunter Biden was doing that and 10 times worse.
00:03:45.060 So listen to Hunter Biden talking about Ukraine when he went on, of all places, Jimmy Kimmel to discuss.
00:03:51.700 You wrote in the book, you wrote in the book, because I do want to talk about this, you know, the Ukraine and, or Ukraine and, and it became some, an issue.
00:04:01.640 It became something, it gave Donald Trump something to grab onto.
00:04:04.920 He almost got, well, he did get impeached as a result of it.
00:04:08.100 But you wrote, did I make a mistake by taking a seat on the board of a Ukrainian gas company?
00:04:13.740 No.
00:04:13.980 Did I display a lack of judgment?
00:04:16.120 No.
00:04:16.620 Would I do it again?
00:04:17.740 No.
00:04:19.040 Yeah.
00:04:19.760 And I, I meant what I said.
00:04:21.500 I meant what I wrote is that, uh, you know, go to the beginning is that, you know, I went to Yale Law School.
00:04:27.420 Um, I served on, uh, at least a dozen boards before Burisma.
00:04:32.340 I was a vice chairman of the board of Amtrak.
00:04:35.380 Um, I was a chairman of the board of the, uh, World Food Program, U.S., largest, uh, supporting the largest humanitarian organization in the world.
00:04:43.240 I had an expertise in corporate governance.
00:04:45.680 I was asked to serve on the board for corporate governance.
00:04:48.200 And I was a lawyer at, um, Boyd, Schiller, and Flexner, which was how I was first approached.
00:04:52.940 However, what I didn't take into account was the way in which they would use the perception against my dad.
00:05:00.840 And for that, I, I, I have, uh, I, I wouldn't do it again for that reason.
00:05:06.240 Well, he, he went to different schools and he had a law degree and he was a lawyer.
00:05:10.720 And of course he's very qualified.
00:05:12.660 It has nothing to do with his family.
00:05:14.980 It has nothing to do with his father's political power.
00:05:17.100 It has nothing to do with any of these things.
00:05:18.800 He's just a good boy.
00:05:20.720 Okay.
00:05:21.440 Cut the crap.
00:05:22.020 But back in June, there was a report that came out that the Department of Justice was investigating a lobbying firm linked to Hunter Biden and his activities in Ukraine.
00:05:32.520 This is from Daily Caller.
00:05:33.420 The Department of Justice is reportedly investigating a lobbying firm once hired by the Ukrainian energy company that in turn once employed Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden's son.
00:05:43.120 The Burisma Holdings Company hired Blue Star Strategies.
00:05:46.620 Remember that name, Blue Star Strategies, a multinational lobbying firm founded by alumni of the Clinton administration back in 2015.
00:05:53.980 Hunter Biden sat on the Burisma board at that time.
00:05:58.020 However, Blue Star did not file paperwork with the State Department declaring that it was lobbying for Burisma and most likely violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
00:06:10.660 Folks, I'm going to step back for a second.
00:06:14.120 We can all see what's going on here.
00:06:17.420 America's elites are being bought off by foreign powers.
00:06:22.460 They are bought and sold.
00:06:25.460 This is not something new in human history.
00:06:27.960 If you go back to European history, the Habsburgs, the Great Game, Central Europe, Austria, Hungary, Russia, Poland, Lithuanian, Commonwealth, etc.
00:06:37.620 This is an old game.
00:06:39.460 It's a game as old as human civilization itself.
00:06:41.900 But what was new was the United States of America, the U.S. Constitution, and the ideals of a constitutional republic.
00:06:49.520 That's what we've gotten away from.
00:06:52.000 That's what we need to get back to.
00:06:54.320 Our elites, the nobles, right, of our day have become corrupted by foreign powers.
00:07:00.660 Twitter just kicked out Jack Dorsey as CEO, and they've installed a new woke supremacist as their CEO.
00:07:17.420 Why does this matter?
00:07:18.740 Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to get on the lifeboats.
00:07:22.780 Get off of Twitter.
00:07:24.100 Prepare your exit strategy.
00:07:26.020 And that exit strategy, the best one out there, the one that I'm using, is Getter.
00:07:29.880 So go sign up for Getter.
00:07:31.600 Getter is the Twitter killer.
00:07:33.700 It's G-E-T-T-R dot com.
00:07:35.540 Go sign up today.
00:07:36.620 You will see better engagement.
00:07:38.140 You'll see better conversations.
00:07:39.840 You will see so much better access to all your favorite conservative influencers, world leaders, and politicians, and also newsmakers or celebrities getting on.
00:07:49.400 It's really a great time.
00:07:50.560 It's a great party.
00:07:51.760 Go sign up for Getter right now because we know that they can't stop our signal.
00:07:56.980 So they're going to try to censor us and shut us down.
00:08:01.220 In Milwaukee.
00:08:04.620 So, of course, the Waukesha massacre that the media has completely forgotten about.
00:08:08.420 I actually ran a search last night on Twitter about this.
00:08:11.060 I went to Jake Taper's Twitter account, and I ran a search for him.
00:08:14.700 I did the search for the word Waukesha.
00:08:17.160 I did parade.
00:08:18.380 I did Christmas.
00:08:19.540 I did attack.
00:08:20.420 I did the name, Daryl Brooks, Daryl Brooks, all potential permutations of anything that he could have used to tweet about the Waukesha massacre.
00:08:30.760 I couldn't find a single tweet from Jake Taper about Waukesha.
00:08:36.880 There was some charity thing that he was involved with, and he was brought out to speak over the summer that he had talked about this, but not a single one.
00:08:43.780 So understand, ladies and gentlemen, that when it comes to regime media, and Jake Taper is the leading regime propagandist in America, his voice is the mouthpiece of the regime.
00:08:56.000 Understand that.
00:08:56.680 When you don't see him talking about something, story selection bias is actually one of the greatest crimes and the greatest powers of the regime propagandist, because what they don't tell you, what they omit, the stories that they don't elevate to a national level, like this horrific tragedy, but then they will highlight other situations.
00:09:23.120 It shows you exactly what their agenda is.
00:09:27.540 So, we, of course, are going to have to do the job that they are not going to do.
00:09:32.420 In Waukesha, the Milwaukee DA had let this guy out over a domestic violence situation, over $1,000 bail, where he had actually, I kid you not, if you look at the police report, he is accused of hitting his girlfriend, I guess his former girlfriend now, with his car after chasing her down to a gas station.
00:09:53.120 Listen to the Milwaukee DA, who's one of these corrupt DAs that made our list of the open prison DAs that we talked about a couple of weeks ago.
00:10:02.460 Listen to how he tries to worm his way out of this.
00:10:05.660 This is John Chisholm.
00:10:06.400 Take a listen.
00:10:06.820 That is a system that we've put in place, and that system actually was operating and should have been followed.
00:10:12.920 It should have been followed.
00:10:13.920 There was a public safety assessment that was done that characterized this situation as a high-risk situation.
00:10:20.920 Our default position in this case, because of the laws in Wisconsin, is that we recommend higher amounts of cash.
00:10:26.600 That's not what the law says, by the way.
00:10:28.220 The law says that cash is only intended to bring the person back to court, and non-monetary conditions can be considered factoring in the dangerousness and the risk to the victim and other factors like that.
00:10:37.540 Nonetheless, higher cash bail should have been recommended in this case.
00:10:42.020 In talking to the ADA, what she indicated is that she did not have access to that public safety assessment.
00:10:47.340 It's not that it wasn't done.
00:10:48.620 It just hadn't been uploaded into our case management system.
00:10:50.940 Given the volume of cases she was dealing with, given her jury trial that she was working on, she simply charged the case.
00:10:57.780 She looked at the previous bail, saw that it was $500, and she doubled it.
00:11:01.600 That's it.
00:11:02.800 That's a mistake.
00:11:04.000 That's human error.
00:11:05.340 And it just set in motion a chain of events that resulted in a tragedy.
00:11:10.780 So there's two things going on with this, all right?
00:11:12.740 Number one is they think half the people out there are stupid and just going to buy it.
00:11:21.100 And unfortunately, they're right.
00:11:23.200 But then with the other half, they don't think that who can see through this, right?
00:11:27.720 They don't think you'll do anything about it.
00:11:30.140 They think that you'll hear this stuff and you'll just say, oh, what can I do about that?
00:11:35.380 Oh, too bad.
00:11:36.460 He was let out.
00:11:37.580 He killed all those people.
00:11:38.840 Well, shucks, I guess it's just part and parcel of living in a modern country.
00:11:44.220 No, we can do something about it.
00:11:46.460 We are going to go through city by city and expose every single one of these DAs for who they are and what they've done.
00:11:54.480 They found a way to do backdoor defund the police.
00:11:58.300 Because remember, defund the police was never about police specifically.
00:12:01.580 It was about empowering crime and empowering criminals.
00:12:05.860 So what are they doing?
00:12:06.700 They're letting them back on the streets.
00:12:08.360 They're letting violence go up.
00:12:10.140 They're letting all of this happen throughout American cities, American carnage, a Christmas parade.
00:12:16.580 There's children, by the way, still in the ICU over this.
00:12:20.440 And we've gone on and we've actually helped some of those fundraisers.
00:12:23.560 If you follow me on Twitter, you've seen that we've helped out some of those families directly.
00:12:26.880 We've gotten over $100,000 for multiple families of the kids that are in there.
00:12:32.760 And I hope that we do more.
00:12:33.740 Honestly, I hope we do more because if there's anything I can do with this platform, if there's anything we can all do, it's helping these families out, especially at Christmastime.
00:12:41.160 But I want to do give a nice shout out to the, what was it, the grannies, right?
00:12:47.460 The grannies that were out there, the dancing grannies, they've actually returned back to the parades.
00:12:53.120 They're out of Milwaukee.
00:12:54.000 They were just marching at a parade this weekend and they all wore white flowers attached to their lapels in memorial for their members that they lost.
00:13:02.700 So I salute you and God bless you to all the dancing grannies and all the families affected by this horrific massacre that they don't want anyone talking about.
00:13:17.460 Well, according to new reports, classified intelligence that's been released through the Wall Street Journal, U.S. intelligence believes that China is poised to establish its first ever permanent naval installation on the Atlantic Ocean.
00:13:34.100 Where is this going to be? A deep water port in Equatorial Guinea on Africa's east coast.
00:13:40.140 American officials who spoke with the Wall Street Journal indicated that the reports raised the prospect that Chinese warships under the control of the CCP would be able to rearm and refit opposite the east coast of the United States,
00:13:53.620 a threat that is setting off alarm bells at the White House and the Pentagon.
00:13:57.040 Last April, the commander of U.S. AFRICOM, General Townsend, first raised the possibility of this most significant threat of the PLA military Atlantic presence during Senate testimony,
00:14:07.020 describing that Beijing is eyeing a military-useful naval facility on the Atlantic coast of Africa, right?
00:14:14.080 Understand what is going on, ladies and gentlemen.
00:14:16.940 China has been using Africa for years at this point to extract resources, to undermine their governments through debt-trap diplomacy.
00:14:25.440 Of course, there was a coup, by the way, back in September in Equatorial Guinea, and I guarantee you that China is making sure that they can do everything they can to work directly with the military junta
00:14:37.920 that's now taking control of Equatorial Guinea, and they are going to make any deal they want.
00:14:44.300 And folks, they aren't just doing it there, they're doing it across Africa. Take a listen.
00:14:47.920 Since the year of 2018, Forum on China-Africa Corporation in Beijing, China and Africa have enhanced their solidarity and mutual trust, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
00:15:00.960 And China says it will further uphold the principles of sincerity, real results, enmity and good faith in the future cooperation with Africa.
00:15:09.000 And the white paper also says China will continue to seek win-win opportunities while putting the bonds of the two above economic results,
00:15:18.180 starting a new chapter for the China-Africa relation.
00:15:21.840 In the past three years, the two has achieved remarkable results in economic aid, trade, investment, agriculture, infrastructure and industrialization.
00:15:32.300 And data shows from year 2020 to 2021, the trade volume of the two had 38% growth year-on-year, reaching 185 billion yuan in 2021.
00:15:46.100 And around 53 billion yuan new contracts were signed by Chinese companies in Africa, and that's a 22% growth year-on-year.
00:15:54.920 The paper also says China will continuously improve the quality of exports to Africa.
00:16:00.120 High-tech products, mechanic and electronic products have consisted half of the exports, and also China's imports of Africa's service industry,
00:16:11.700 have reached 20% growth year-on-year, and China has become the second largest agricultural importer in Africa.
00:16:20.500 And in the very difficult pandemic times, the cooperation between China and Africa still remains.
00:16:27.100 China has donated a large amount of protective gears, testing equipment for nucleic acid tests,
00:16:34.720 and China has donated more than 1 billion doses of vaccine against COVID to foreign countries and regions,
00:16:40.860 and more than 50 countries and regions in Africa has received the aid.
00:16:46.240 And Chinese medical professionals have also given medical trainings in the affected area in Africa,
00:16:51.700 tutoring more than 10,000 local medical workers.
00:16:54.940 Also, officials say Chinese people will always remember the help from Africa when it was hit by the catastrophic earthquake in 2008.
00:17:05.220 In the future, China will continue to deepen the One Belt, One Road initiative with Africa
00:17:10.060 and improve regional stability and creating a shared future for mankind.
00:17:15.040 And this is why you talk to Human Events Daily.
00:17:17.340 This is why you come to Human Events Daily.
00:17:18.820 No one else is going to give you analysis of what China's plans and designs are for the world than right here.
00:17:25.100 Ladies and gentlemen, the holiday season is upon us.
00:17:36.060 Go to MyPillow.com, use promo code POSO, get your orders in.
00:17:40.100 You know, we actually just did a couple of extra orders.
00:17:42.860 And on Sunday, my wife, Tanya, was on the phone with MyPillow.
00:17:47.520 There was, we wanted to do one order, but ship it to a couple of different places.
00:17:52.300 And so she was able to call them on a Sunday afternoon after church.
00:17:56.740 I was making a gingerbread house with Jack Jr.
00:17:59.800 She's on the phone with them.
00:18:01.200 Even on a Sunday afternoon, MyPillow was able to get on the phone with them, get on the phone with her,
00:18:05.900 figure everything out, make sure everything was on its way.
00:18:08.680 We've even locked in the shipping dates.
00:18:11.140 It's going to be fantastic.
00:18:12.000 So really appreciate that level of customer support because I can only imagine what's going on in terms of the volume for them around Christmastime.
00:18:20.100 And it was amazing.
00:18:21.120 And that's, you know, it's all American workers.
00:18:23.360 It's made in America.
00:18:24.960 You've got to go.
00:18:26.020 MyPillow.com, promo code POSO, get your order in now.
00:18:29.120 But over in Germany, the leader of Germany, 16 years, and one of the most influential leaders on the entire European continent,
00:18:38.480 one of the leaders, seen as the de facto leader of the EU, the de facto leader of Brussels, the head of globalism,
00:18:45.140 Angela Merkel is finally retiring.
00:18:49.060 Go and look at the ceremony that they gave her, a nighttime demonstration with torches and black uniforms given for Angela Merkel.
00:18:58.320 Celebrating the end of an era.
00:19:00.300 With a torch-lit parade and a military brass band, Germany's military bid farewell to its chancellor of 16 years.
00:19:12.480 Standing here in front of you today, I mainly feel gratitude and humility.
00:19:18.420 Humility before the office I was allowed to hold for so long.
00:19:22.820 Gratitude for the trust I experienced.
00:19:25.180 The event is now a tradition for departing political figures in Germany.
00:19:33.340 They even get to pick their own music.
00:19:36.960 One of the songs on Angela Merkel's playlist raised some eyebrows.
00:19:41.480 It was a song from her childhood in East Germany called You Forget the Colour Film by the punk singer Nina Hagen.
00:19:47.880 In her speech, the outgoing chancellor thanked health care workers for their fight against COVID-19.
00:19:58.480 She also issued a warning.
00:20:01.040 Our democracy lives on the ability to debate critically and to correct itself.
00:20:09.740 It lives on the balance of interests and mutual respect.
00:20:13.060 It lives on solidarity and trust, and trust in the facts.
00:20:19.720 Whenever scientific knowledge is denied, whenever conspiracy theories and incitement to hatred become widespread,
00:20:26.660 contradiction must be expressed.
00:20:33.660 Merkel is expected to hand over power to Olaf Scholz next week.
00:20:39.020 And what is Angela Merkel's legacy?
00:20:40.580 Well, we've seen it.
00:20:42.160 The crackdowns on the vaccinated that's going on now.
00:20:45.220 The massive influx of migrants in 2015.
00:20:48.740 The rash of sexual assaults that followed thereafter.
00:20:52.460 We've seen the way that she's allowed the CCP and welcomed them with open arms onto the continent.
00:20:59.160 Nord Stream 2.
00:21:00.380 There was a recent interview that she gave talking about all this,
00:21:03.620 and there's an infamous quote from 2015 where she had said,
00:21:07.220 we can do it.
00:21:07.940 Verschaffen das.
00:21:10.300 Does that still apply?
00:21:11.620 And she says, we did it.
00:21:13.660 And that despite some setbacks with the mass migrant policy, positive stories have emerged.
00:21:21.600 So we're not going to talk about the New Year's Eve attacks.
00:21:24.660 We're not going to talk about the sexual assaults.
00:21:26.200 We're not going to talk about the car attacks
00:21:27.620 and the fact that Christmas markets across Western Europe now have to have vehicular barricades up because of this.
00:21:33.320 But no, Angela Merkel, you did it.
00:21:36.340 That's right, Angela.
00:21:37.680 You did it.
00:21:39.220 And that's it.
00:21:39.780 That's all the time we have today for Human Events Daily.
00:21:42.340 Remember, our motto to you, be good, be brief, be gone.
00:21:45.180 But what we do ask of you is that you leave us your five-star review,
00:21:48.320 and then you go be that influence agent.
00:21:51.220 Share this out with your normie friends.
00:21:53.120 There's a reason we do this only 25 minutes a day.
00:21:56.340 You get in, you get out, you get the information you need.
00:21:58.740 We do a little comedy.
00:22:00.500 We do a little bit of analysis.
00:22:01.860 We give you that geopolitical analysis,
00:22:03.680 but we talk about things that no one else is talking about.
00:22:06.220 The crime that's going on in our streets,
00:22:07.920 the way the CCP is advancing around the world,
00:22:10.180 what's really going on inside the White House.
00:22:12.040 Where else are you going to hear that,
00:22:13.280 and where else are you going to hear that so fast?
00:22:15.240 But before we go, it's time for today's moment of history.
00:22:19.240 Really cool one today.
00:22:20.220 Today, in 1877, Thomas Edison made the first sound recording
00:22:25.240 when he recited Mary Had a Little Lamb into his phonograph machine.
00:22:29.100 Think of that.
00:22:29.900 The entire history of recorded sound only goes back to 1877.
00:22:35.600 Imagine what we could have had before that.
00:22:38.220 The first words I spoke in the original phonograph.
00:22:43.540 A little piece of practical poetry.
00:22:46.640 Mary Had a Little Lamb, its piece was quite as slow,
00:22:49.560 and every word that really went to the Lamb was pure to go.
00:22:53.180 Ladies and gentlemen, you have my permission to lay ashore.
