00:00:25.780 The Poso Daily Brief.

00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.

00:00:40.700 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.

00:00:47.260 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.

00:00:51.000 President Trump and the First Lady set to travel to Texas today to survey the devastation caused by the flash floods that killed at least 120 people.

00:00:59.140 And questions are mounting over warnings and alerts.

00:01:02.640 Trump announcing tariffs on imports from Canada of 35%.

00:01:06.540 Now, an administration official did tell me late last night that the exemptions currently in place for USMCA compliant goods likely will remain,

00:01:15.180 as will the lower 10% tariff for energy imports.

00:01:18.760 That would soften this a little bit.

00:01:20.200 And State Department employees are bracing for mass layoffs.

00:01:23.580 Dismissal notices are expected to go out as soon as today.

00:01:27.220 But it's not clear yet how many employees could be impacted.

00:01:30.700 It's part of President Trump's ongoing effort to downsize the federal government.

00:01:34.200 A federal judge is temporarily blocking President Trump's executive order ending birthright citizenship.

00:01:39.860 The New Hampshire judge says he will certify a class action lawsuit on behalf of all the children affected by President Trump's EO,

00:01:46.260 and issue a preliminary injunction blocking it.

00:01:49.760 The Trump administration takes the next step in preserving taxpayer money for American citizens only,

00:01:56.340 announcing changes to five departments that end benefits going to illegal aliens.

00:02:01.360 Take a look at this video right here.

00:02:03.260 It appears a protester fired some kind of gun at federal agents.

00:02:07.040 This happened this afternoon.

00:02:08.600 It was a really chaotic scene at the time.

00:02:10.740 A lot of smoke was being launched at the protesters.

00:02:13.240 And again, it appears a protester fired back with that weapon.

00:02:16.860 It looks like he fired at least a couple of times.

00:02:21.500 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.

00:02:27.360 We're here live in Tampa, Florida, right on the banks of the Gulf of America.

00:02:34.260 USA, USA, USA, USA, USA, USA.

00:02:45.920 I got to tell you, I got to tell you, folks, is there anyone out there within sound of a...

00:02:49.820 Are we calling it the Gulf of Mexico anymore?

00:02:52.600 No.

00:02:54.120 Are we calling it the Gulf of America?

00:02:56.060 Well, did you guys know that the very man who one year ago came up with the name Gulf of America,

00:03:05.120 who came up with the very idea, is standing right next to me, Kevin Posobiec.

00:03:10.060 He's right here, the founder of the Gulf of America.

00:03:14.200 He said, we're going to call it the Gulf of America.

00:03:16.640 Our great president, Donald Trump, saw his message and said, you know what?

00:03:21.020 We're making it happen, because that's what we do, folks.

00:03:25.140 You can just do things.

00:03:27.160 And I got to tell you, though, folks, I got to tell you, I heard that memo that went down about Jeffrey Epstein,

00:03:34.780 and I heard them say, the case is closed, and we're not going to talk about Jeffrey Epstein anymore.

00:03:41.400 Well, let me tell you something, ladies and gentlemen, in this incredible crowd that we've got here

00:03:46.360 at Turning Point USA, Student Action Summit, to all the Patriots here,

00:03:51.220 we are never going to stop talking about Jeffrey Epstein until we get every single answer

00:03:58.780 for every one of the victims, for every person who was involved in this thing.

00:04:03.520 Folks, do you want to hear more about Jeffrey Epstein?

00:04:08.120 Do you want to get to the bottom of every single thing that Epstein was up to?

00:04:12.760 And should we keep demanding answers regardless of where the truth takes us,

00:04:18.660 whether it's to the intelligence agencies of this country or even maybe, maybe the intelligence agencies

00:04:25.560 of a foreign country?

00:04:27.820 We're going to go wherever the facts lead us, because that's how you run an investigation.

00:04:34.540 That's what this movement was built on.

00:04:36.500 That's what MAGA is all about.

00:04:37.840 And, folks, it was just reported a few minutes ago, it was just reported that Dan Bongino refused

00:04:46.140 to show up at the FBI today because he said he is going to walk out over the Epstein case

00:04:53.240 if this thing does not see the light of day.

00:04:56.080 Folks, Dan Bongino is fighting for us on the inside.

00:04:59.620 He's doing everything he possibly can.

00:05:01.900 We're going to support him.

00:05:03.020 We're going to support this fight because it's time to actually go after the pedophiles

00:05:09.040 in high places, ladies and gentlemen.

00:05:12.920 We're naming names.

00:05:14.300 I'm Jack Posobiec.

00:05:15.300 This is Kevin.

00:05:15.980 We're going to be right back here.

00:05:17.320 Human Events Daily.

00:05:18.300 Nothing will stand in our way.

00:05:27.460 And our golden age has just begun.

00:05:29.820 This is Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:05:31.580 Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.

00:05:36.240 Welcome to the second American Revolution. 0.56

00:05:41.820 All right, folks.

00:05:44.900 Jack Posobiec.

00:05:45.620 Here we are live here in Tampa, right on the coast of the Gulf of America.

00:05:50.840 Folks, Donald J. Trump right now, by the way.

00:05:53.480 Let me tell you something about what President Trump is up to right now.

00:05:56.960 Right now, President Trump is down in Texas, and he, along with our illustrious First Lady,

00:06:03.620 are meeting with the victims of these horrific floods down in Kerrville, Texas, in all the towns

00:06:10.220 down there.

00:06:10.700 President Trump has decided to throw his entire schedule out because he's going down to stand

00:06:16.520 with the people, to stand with the families, and he is going to be with them because that's

00:06:21.100 what an American president ought to do.

00:06:23.260 You don't hear, the celebrities aren't going down, Hollywood's not making movies for them,

00:06:28.380 they're not doing the benefit concerts, these big things.

00:06:31.040 No, no.

00:06:32.460 But who's going to be there?

00:06:33.720 The president.

00:06:34.800 The people's president is going to be there.

00:06:37.760 And in addition to that, in addition to that, President Trump has also sent ICE out.

00:06:44.800 They're now raiding all of these weed fields out in California right now where they're covered

00:06:50.300 with illegal aliens, and they're going in there with Black Hawk helicopters, and what

00:06:55.320 are they doing, ladies and gentlemen?

00:06:57.140 They're finding that it turns out, remember we were told, wait a minute, why is Donald

00:07:01.520 Trump going after these farms?

00:07:03.340 He shouldn't go after the farms.

00:07:04.520 Those are hardworking.

00:07:05.840 They might be illegal, but they're just undocumented.

00:07:08.000 They're hard workers.

00:07:09.180 Well, guess what, ladies and gentlemen?

00:07:11.280 Gavin Newsom just told us, he said, hey, you can't raid those farms.

00:07:15.400 There's children there.

00:07:16.520 I said, wait a minute, wait a minute, children are working on these farms, backbreaking.

00:07:24.660 You're telling me this is child labor.

00:07:28.200 What you've done is take trafficked children and put them as child slaves. 0.87

00:07:34.520 You're a child trafficker on a cannabis farm.

00:07:38.380 Donald Trump is saving those children.

00:07:41.640 Donald Trump is going in there to save the children that have been trafficked.

00:07:45.620 Because let me tell you something, and you know what they say, Kevin, God's children

00:07:49.520 are not for sale.

00:07:51.460 That's right.

00:07:52.460 That's right.

00:07:53.280 Are we going to do, do we have this camera shot?

00:07:59.400 Luke, do we have this camera shot?

00:08:00.920 Can we do this?

00:08:02.060 Can we do, or we can do this set up?

00:08:03.460 Because I don't know, I promise, we got, I got a stack of these, these t-shirts.

00:08:07.320 Now, Charlie, Charlie told me earlier, early in the day, he said, he said, Jack, these

00:08:13.500 t-shirts are for VIPs.

00:08:15.460 Okay.

00:08:15.720 These are the VIP section t-shirts.

00:08:18.040 So they're for the VIPs.

00:08:19.680 And I said, well, Charlie, all the VIPs are coming to my show.

00:08:24.080 All the VIPs are right here.

00:08:26.020 So these shirts ought to be for them.

00:08:28.340 So Kevin, wait, wait, show him what the shirt is.

00:08:30.500 Show him what the shirt is.

00:08:32.340 Show him what the shirt is.

00:08:33.440 Hold on.

00:08:33.660 You guys, we got to show you.

00:08:34.520 He'll show you the front.

00:08:37.000 It says the future is here.

00:08:38.440 The future is free.

00:08:39.340 And on the back, the Gulf of America.

00:08:42.860 Would anybody like some Gulf of America shirts?

00:08:46.700 Kev, go for it, man.

00:08:47.980 Go for it.

00:08:50.140 He's got them out.

00:08:51.440 Here you go, folks.

00:08:52.560 You are the VIPs.

00:08:54.360 You are the ones who deserve these things.

00:08:56.540 You are the ones that should be treated because you're the Patriots.

00:08:59.600 You're the ones who fought for our country.

00:09:03.540 You're the ones who fought so that this country would not fade, so that freedom would not go away in this generation.

00:09:16.220 You're the ones.

00:09:17.200 I know we didn't have quite enough for everybody there, but I'm going to see what I can do.

00:09:23.160 I'm going to see what I can do and see if we can get some more of those back out here because you guys are the real VIPs.

00:09:29.300 I said, I don't want a shirt.

00:09:30.580 These guys deserve the shirts.

00:09:32.180 I don't need another T-shirt.

00:09:33.580 I got plenty of T-shirts.

00:09:35.300 This is incredible, folks.

00:09:36.680 It's incredible what we've done.

00:09:38.420 And there's so many incredible Patriots that are – wait, are you serious?

00:09:42.060 Wait, guys, we weren't even planning to have her on today.

00:09:44.780 What do you mean?

00:09:45.460 Folks, would you like to hear from a great American patriot, Savannah Hernandez?

00:09:50.800 Would you like Sav to come on?

00:09:52.500 Wait, Sav says is here right now?

00:09:55.320 You're telling us that she could join us right live on – wait. 0.52

00:09:58.240 I didn't even know you were here today.

00:09:59.620 What's going on?

00:10:00.480 Ladies and gentlemen, Savannah Hernandez.

00:10:02.920 Hello, everybody.

00:10:03.900 Sav, welcome back to Human Events, Sav.

00:10:07.620 Thank you.

00:10:07.900 Now, walk to us because you've been going – as incredible as she is and as beautiful as she is, folks, Sav has been with the worst of the worst, with the rioters, with the illegals, and you've exposed what they're doing in New York City and all across the country.

00:10:22.860 Tell us about when President Trump is ordering these raids and the fact that there are children involved in many of these operations, when Gavin Newsom is saying, oh, we can't do it because there's kids there.

00:10:34.180 What's really going on, Sav?

00:10:35.940 Take us deep into these operations.

00:10:38.800 Absolutely, Jack.

00:10:39.680 Well, I think it's important to remember that hundreds of thousands of children were lost under the Biden administration as a direct result of the open border policy.

00:10:48.400 So I think that so much happened over the last four years with the illegal immigration crisis that we truly do forget how horrific it was, especially for children.

00:10:57.560 I mean, these children were lost, and now they're showing up at these marijuana farms.

00:11:01.220 You have child labor laws that have been broken in multiple states.

00:11:04.700 So it's so important and so incredible to see these ICE raids happen.

00:11:07.900 Now, the media, of course, is trying to—

00:11:10.200 Wait, wait, wait.

00:11:10.640 Let me just say it because they told us the kids were lost.

00:11:15.040 Those kids weren't lost at all, were they?

00:11:17.120 No, absolutely not.

00:11:18.180 They were sent to these farms.

00:11:19.460 They were sent to these labor camps.

00:11:21.240 They were sent to textile plants and all these other places.

00:11:24.220 That's why they're getting raided right now.

00:11:26.320 And I believe the DHS—I don't think we have the picture.

00:11:28.560 I don't know if we can put it because it's minors and they're blurred out.

00:11:30.760 They just released a photo of the children that are—some of these 11 years old, 12 years old were liberated during the ICE raids.

00:11:41.060 Absolutely, Jack.

00:11:41.960 And I think that regarding all of the illegal immigration reporting that I've done, some of the most harrowing stories have come from ICE agents, border patrol agents, National Guard,

00:11:50.980 who have found children thrown in barbed wire by the cartel members who abandoned them at the border because their parents paid for them to be trafficked over the border.

00:11:58.840 But once they got into the country, it was fair game for these children.

00:12:01.880 These children were sexually assaulted making that, you know, journey into the United States of America.

00:12:07.680 So these poor kids have gone through so many horrific things in their lives.

00:12:11.320 And then when they come to the United States, they're working for the cartels and are essentially slaves to the cartels.

00:12:16.460 The Biden administration, of course, kind of looked the other way for that one.

00:12:19.880 And so I'm so happy to see these raids happening now and for justice being done for the children who have been lost in these areas.

00:12:27.880 And so when we look at it from that perspective, it's about liberation of the children.

00:12:33.400 But also, hold on a second, who are these industries then that are running these farms, that are running these industries?

00:12:39.680 Because you really mean to tell me that they're just showing up for work there every day and the people running the farms don't know about it?

00:12:46.500 Of course they know.

00:12:47.600 Of course they know, Jack.

00:12:48.560 And this is something that's been going on for decades.

00:12:50.480 I mean, I've been hearing about farms all across the United States of America and also those major factories.

00:12:56.120 A lot of the big brands that we are familiar with in which children are working in these areas.

00:13:00.800 And like you're saying, the owners of these factories, the owners of these farms know exactly who's working on their farms.

00:13:06.440 Or perhaps they're misled because of fraudulent documents that have been, you know, bought and sold in black markets throughout the United States of America.

00:13:13.160 So that's why it's so important that we clean up this issue and continue these ICE raids.

00:13:17.240 Because like we're saying, it's not only children that are impacted here, but you also have criminal illegal aliens that are working on these farms.

00:13:24.060 Right, Jack?

00:13:24.560 We're consistently hearing from the media, well, if illegal immigrants do not have a criminal record, then they can stay. 0.81

00:13:31.040 Never forget the story of Molly Tibbetts, who back in 2018 was kidnapped and murdered by an illegal immigrant who had no prior record who was working on a farm. 0.81

00:13:39.700 This is why we need mass deportations of every single illegal immigrant in this country. 1.00

00:13:43.840 Because guess what?

00:13:44.820 Crossing the border illegally is a federal crime.

00:13:47.080 So they all need to go home.

00:13:48.580 They all need to go.

00:13:49.580 So Molly Tibbetts was murdered, was murdered by an illegal alien farm worker in Iowa. 1.00

00:13:56.860 Just one, I looked this up, it was one hour away from the Iowa State Fairground where that took place all the way back in 2018.

00:14:04.560 So people like Molly Tibbetts, people like Rachel Morin, people like Jocelyn Nungary down in Texas.

00:14:11.760 And guess what, folks?

00:14:12.520 It's all over the country.

00:14:14.000 All right, this is an issue.

00:14:15.340 We are, we have been invaded.

00:14:17.420 We've been invaded.

00:14:18.100 And the only way that you can respond to an invasion is a liberation, a liberation of the American people.

00:14:25.820 It's not about how many people we deport.

00:14:28.040 It's about how many people we liberate.

00:14:30.620 It's about how many people we set free.

00:14:33.280 And it's the American people.

00:14:34.660 It's the patriots.

00:14:35.560 It's the workers.

00:14:36.560 It's people who are just trying to commute to work on a day-to-day basis and live their lives in peace and safety and freedom.

00:14:43.340 That's what it's all about, folks.

00:14:45.060 That's what this movement is all about.

00:14:46.560 That's what MAGA is all about.

00:14:48.100 That's what America First is all about.

00:14:50.180 And that's certainly what Sav Hernandez is all about.

00:14:52.640 Sav, can you hang on for a minute?

00:14:53.720 Are you good?

00:14:54.160 You got to run?

00:14:54.980 Absolutely.

00:14:55.440 What do you think, folks?

00:14:56.120 Should we let Sav stay for a little bit longer?

00:14:58.080 All right, we're going to let her stay.

00:14:59.660 We're going to let her step. 0.92

00:15:01.960 We've got the Sav Hernandez fan guild over here.

00:15:04.980 I didn't realize.

00:15:05.700 We'll be right back.

00:15:06.180 Human Events Daily.

00:15:06.840 Today, you know, they talk about influencers.

00:15:35.780 These are influencers, and they're friends of mine.

00:15:39.420 Jack Posobiec.

00:15:41.740 Where's Jack?

00:15:42.640 Jack?

00:15:43.680 He's done a great job.

00:15:45.100 All right, folks.

00:15:50.020 Jack Posobiec.

00:15:50.900 Here we are.

00:15:51.720 Student Action Summit.

00:15:53.620 Tampa, Florida.

00:15:54.820 The Gulf of America.

00:15:56.440 Now, Sav, I only have you for a couple more minutes.

00:15:58.900 I know you've got to run soon.

00:16:00.180 You're a busy day.

00:16:01.140 We have all busy days.

00:16:02.060 I have to ask you, look, you and I were both involved in this situation kind of inadvertently.

00:16:09.880 The Epstein files, the initial sort of rollout, whatever you want to call it, that we were

00:16:16.260 involved with at the White House.

00:16:18.180 Now, this idea that there aren't going to be any more files coming out.

00:16:21.760 Dan Bongino, reportedly, according to Axios, didn't show up to work today at the FBI.

00:16:26.980 He's, you know, kind of on strike, I guess you could say, potentially even walking over

00:16:31.800 all of this.

00:16:33.360 Do you think this is the kind of story that's just going to go away, or should we, as Steve

00:16:39.260 Vanden has called for, push for a special counsel on the Epstein files?

00:16:44.020 Where do you sit at it, and why do you think this story has resonated so much with the grassroots?

00:16:49.120 Well, I think it's resonated so much with the grassroots because we were promised the

00:16:52.860 most transparent administration in U.S. history.

00:16:55.400 We were given a binder with that exact phrase on it, and that is exactly what we expect.

00:17:00.000 That's exactly what we voted for, and we voted for nothing less, Jack.

00:17:03.760 Now, we don't want an administration of influencers who are going to get up in front of the camera

00:17:08.620 and tell us exactly what we want to hear.

00:17:11.040 We want to see the truth.

00:17:12.220 We want to see justice, and we want to see accountability from our DOJ.

00:17:16.080 This is not a story that is ever going to go away because we are not going to let it go

00:17:19.840 away because they were children that were harmed.

00:17:22.160 This was a very intricate sex trafficking ring that we have heard about for decades at this

00:17:27.920 point, and the American people want answers.

00:17:30.980 This was a campaign promise.

00:17:32.900 This was something that multiple members of the administration spoke about, and to be

00:17:36.760 quite honest with you, Pam Bondi needs to get up in front of the nation, and she needs

00:17:40.360 to address this issue because the fact that nobody signed that memo, the fact that we were

00:17:44.760 essentially told Epstein didn't kill himself, case closed, and there's no client list, everybody

00:17:48.800 move on, is unacceptable, and we are not going to let this story die.

00:17:52.220 Folks, what do you think?

00:17:53.320 Should we keep pushing on Epstein?

00:17:56.680 We're going to keep pushing.

00:17:57.940 Sap, there's so many people who look at this, and they say, at the end of the day, it's not

00:18:02.960 just about, it is about, obviously, this case, but you take a step back, it's also about who

00:18:08.160 runs our country.

00:18:09.540 And so we, the people who voted and pushed and campaigned for President Trump, have made

00:18:16.260 this a priority, but now it's like the suits in Washington are saying no because of various

00:18:22.300 Washington influences, possibly even foreign influences.

00:18:26.720 Do you think that's really at the heart of what this is turning into?

00:18:30.220 Oh, absolutely, Jack.

00:18:31.340 I mean, it's like the amnesty issue.

00:18:32.920 We did not vote for that.

00:18:34.120 We voted for mass deportations. 0.85

00:18:35.620 And for some reason, this issue is also being floated as well because, like you were saying,

00:18:40.340 there is a deep state in Washington that the Trump administration is, I'm sure, fighting

00:18:44.680 back and forth against.

00:18:45.920 And I have always said this, Jack, that the American people should not fear their government.

00:18:50.600 The government should fear the American people.

00:18:52.600 And we voted for the release and transparency of these issues.

00:18:55.620 By the way, I just want to throw out, you can see President Trump.

00:18:58.760 He is live.

00:19:00.500 He's down there.

00:19:01.580 I believe this is in Kerrville, Texas.

00:19:03.500 You can see the First Lady, they're meeting. 1.00

00:19:06.180 This is happening live as we're on air right now, folks.

00:19:10.100 So he's down there.

00:19:11.780 And look at the devastation behind him.

00:19:14.140 Look at this.

00:19:14.960 And you know, Jack, I was actually in Kerrville on Monday.

00:19:18.060 So I did see the devastation that happened.

00:19:21.020 Heartbreaking and incredible to see a president who actually shows up for the people.

00:19:25.060 I know all of the people were rallying around.

00:19:26.800 And just some positive news here.

00:19:28.640 So many people donated in Texas that they were overloaded with supplies.

00:19:32.140 I don't remember Joe Biden ever going down to Asheville.

00:19:36.340 Ben, Ben, did Joe, Ben Burkwam's here.

00:19:38.540 Ben, was Joe Biden ever down there?

00:19:40.820 Did Joe Biden ever go and do a visit like this?

00:19:42.900 I never saw him.

00:19:43.920 And by the way, either East Palestine either.

00:19:46.340 It took him over a year to go there.

00:19:48.520 The American people were abandoned.

00:19:50.660 And the sickest part, you know, we were down there on Friday.

00:19:53.160 I got a call.

00:19:53.660 I was actually going home.

00:19:54.380 It was the first time I was going to be home for the 4th of July in four years.

00:19:57.280 And I get the call and I'm like, babe, I got to redirect.

00:20:00.220 I got to go down here.

00:20:01.160 And the fact that President Trump, Kristi Noem's already out there.

00:20:04.300 President Trump's already out there.

00:20:05.520 And the mainstream media is trying to make it like that President Trump did something wrong

00:20:10.440 or the National Weather Service did something wrong.

00:20:12.380 When they were abandoned by the previous administration, it's just disgusting.

00:20:16.940 So, no.

00:20:17.420 And you see the President down there.

00:20:20.500 Is that a truck?

00:20:22.620 Yeah.

00:20:23.240 That's a truck we're looking at on its side.

00:20:25.260 Yeah.

00:20:26.020 That's just complete.

00:20:26.980 To show you the strength of this water.

00:20:29.100 Yeah.

00:20:29.380 That a truck, that's a semi that's been turned.

00:20:32.060 You're looking at the tires on the triple axel.

00:20:34.960 So, you're seeing the strength of the water that, and I just have to say it,

00:20:40.380 that no child or even an adult is going to be able to stand up to that.

00:20:43.740 That's the power of water, the power of what so many of those people were up against.

00:20:49.420 And the reason that so many questions are being asked,

00:20:52.640 and I've been very critical of the mayor down there,

00:20:55.740 say, you know, snapping at journalists for asking questions about the disaster preparedness

00:21:02.060 and asking questions about what was pre-staged, what was denied.

00:21:05.660 And he's yelling at people over this.

00:21:07.040 Excuse me.

00:21:07.880 Excuse me.

00:21:08.340 You've got hundreds of dead people on your hands, including young girls.

00:21:13.020 There's going to be questions, and it's your job as a leader.

00:21:16.820 Show leadership and show accountability.

00:21:19.680 That's what President Trump is showing.

00:21:21.520 He's showing leadership because he's down there with the people.

00:21:24.840 We'll be right back, Human Events Daily.

00:21:26.300 And Jack, where is Jack?

00:21:35.060 Where is Jack?

00:21:37.380 Where is he?

00:21:38.620 Jack, I want to see you.

00:21:42.300 Great job, Jack.

00:21:43.760 Thank you.

00:21:44.520 What a job you do.

00:21:45.960 You know, we have an incredible thing.

00:21:47.320 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad,

00:21:49.420 but we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting Pulisic.

00:21:53.140 Ladies and gentlemen, here we are back, Human Events Daily.

00:22:00.100 We're in the Student Action Summit.

00:22:02.700 We're on with the great Savannah Hernandez. 0.86

00:22:05.600 Sav, just real quick, give me a minute on what we just saw with President Trump.

00:22:11.300 I believe the president is now switching locations,

00:22:14.360 so they're going to be going to a different location, so we'll have a few minutes.

00:22:17.980 But talk to me a little bit about what you saw in Kerrville.

00:22:21.780 And I have to ask, since you're there and, you know, you live in Austin now,

00:22:26.340 this fire chief up in Austin, this story that's come out,

00:22:29.580 and it's certainly going viral where the fire association is saying,

00:22:34.700 hey, we had a request from the state to pre-deploy assets on July 2nd.

00:22:40.620 It was denied by the chief, who is this, you know, guy who,

00:22:44.060 for all intents and purposes to me, seems like a DEI hire,

00:22:46.860 and you know you're from Austin,

00:22:48.880 and they could have had rescue swimmers there before the flood.

00:22:53.120 What are we seeing about that,

00:22:55.140 and could rescue swimmers early on have really changed anything down there?

00:22:59.240 That's a good question, Jack.

00:23:00.720 And after we saw the devastation of these floods,

00:23:04.800 I mean, you know, having more help on the ground,

00:23:06.580 I think always would have been a better option.

00:23:08.960 But seeing how devastating the floods were,

00:23:10.700 I'm not sure if we would have seen, again, you know,

00:23:13.220 less devastation in that sense.

00:23:14.900 Regarding this Austin fire chief, yes, Austin is filled with DEI hires,

00:23:19.660 and it's very reminiscent of the federal government, right?

00:23:22.020 We still have a lot of those holdovers from the last four years

00:23:25.120 who are still implementing policy and have been put into positions

00:23:28.320 because of their skin color or because they know somebody,

00:23:31.160 not because they are qualified for any of these positions,

00:23:34.120 and I think that we saw that with the Austin fire chief.

00:23:36.600 Regarding what I saw down in Kerrville,

00:23:38.100 I mean, heartbreaking scenes.

00:23:39.300 I saw an entire tree, and this tree is probably decades old,

00:23:42.900 completely ripped out of the ground.

00:23:44.800 You had people's entire homes and neighborhoods washed away.

00:23:47.860 This wasn't even just in the Kerrville area.

00:23:49.620 Also in the Austin area, you had people that are still missing,

00:23:52.980 people that have died.

00:23:54.040 The death count, you know, I don't even know what the official one is right now.

00:23:57.800 Well over 100.

00:23:59.240 Very unfortunate event that has happened,

00:24:01.080 but incredible to see our leadership on the ground

00:24:03.480 to pay special attention to the people of Texas

00:24:06.260 and show that, you know, America is first.

00:24:08.380 Let me cut it back to Ben Berquam.

00:24:10.420 Ben, just a minute on that from your perspective down there,

00:24:14.560 and then let's open it up to the audience,

00:24:16.320 to the great and incredible and good-looking crowd

00:24:19.720 that we have here at the Student Action Summit.

00:24:22.380 God, we are so much better looking than the liberals,

00:24:25.980 let me just tell you.

00:24:27.180 I mean, come on.

00:24:28.160 It's not even close, Jack.

00:24:29.740 We were Maha before Maha.

00:24:31.600 MAGA was always, I mean, you look at the left. 0.76

00:24:33.260 Anyways, I don't want to get off on that,

00:24:34.620 but it was, I mean, what I saw down there,

00:24:37.000 if you haven't been around a catastrophic flood,

00:24:38.940 it's almost impossible to describe.

00:24:41.280 You saw that semi flipped on its side.

00:24:43.540 I saw vehicles ripped in half.

00:24:45.640 It's biblical.

00:24:46.060 It absolutely is.

00:24:48.120 And when you think about children being stuck in that,

00:24:51.200 there's no question, those questions, as you said, Jack,

00:24:53.840 need to be asked to allow children to be in that camp

00:24:58.240 that close to the water.

00:24:59.680 The hard thing is, I was talking to the city mayor,

00:25:02.440 or city manager, and, you know,

00:25:04.280 this guy's a former army ranger,

00:25:05.740 and you get to a point, once we realize

00:25:07.860 it's not four to six inches of rain,

00:25:09.640 it's 15 to 20 inches of rain,

00:25:11.440 and it's dumping on top of both the north and the south fork,

00:25:14.860 once that tidal wave of water starts coming,

00:25:17.060 then it's like, do you tell them to leave?

00:25:19.600 Do you have them shelter in place?

00:25:21.000 You end up in a really tough spot.

00:25:23.380 But to your question about that, the rescue swimmers,

00:25:25.580 these guys are trained for that type of scenario.

00:25:28.120 They're trained for those situations.

00:25:30.380 Nobody else could do it better than they could do it,

00:25:32.920 and to deny that is, it may end up being,

00:25:36.460 I mean, it's unacceptable at best.

00:25:39.220 It could be criminal.

00:25:40.500 I don't, it's just, it's tragic.

00:25:42.480 It's totally acceptable.

00:25:43.080 We've got live footage right there

00:25:44.960 from inside the motorcade.

00:25:47.060 They're headed to the next location.

00:25:48.600 Ben, let's chat with some of the crowd here.

00:25:50.520 Let's see where people are at,

00:25:52.240 and folks, you can come on on this,

00:25:53.440 or you can come on on really any topics.

00:25:55.720 What are some of the most pressing topics

00:25:57.540 that we're hearing out there

00:25:58.400 as you guys are at the Student Summit today?

00:26:00.600 And by the way,

00:26:01.140 we have our Central Valley contingent here.

00:26:03.000 We've got some friends from Fresno, California,

00:26:05.580 where I used to be,

00:26:06.340 until I moved back to America,

00:26:08.300 and now I live in Arkansas, okay.

00:26:10.120 You've got your business shut down

00:26:11.540 because under Biden,

00:26:13.180 for exposing Nancy Pelosi

00:26:15.120 and the hypocrisy of her going to your salon.

00:26:19.420 What, you know, you went through that,

00:26:20.920 the attacks that you experienced.

00:26:22.040 What are the most pressing things,

00:26:23.300 as Jack just said, for you right now?

00:26:25.040 I'm actually, it's 2025,

00:26:27.100 and we are still rebuilding our businesses in California.

00:26:30.680 So it's almost like we've been forgotten about.

00:26:33.100 So I'm still trying to get around

00:26:34.900 and advocate for small businesses.

00:26:37.620 And where can people find you?

00:26:39.740 Tell me your name

00:26:40.240 and where they can get you

00:26:41.500 if they want to hire you.

00:26:43.080 Sure.

00:26:43.460 Erica Caius.

00:26:44.400 I'm actually,

00:26:45.000 I just opened a studio in Huntington Beach,

00:26:46.760 which is like one of the-

00:26:47.840 Freedom.

00:26:48.520 Yes, freedom places.

00:26:49.680 And I also have a small shop

00:26:52.060 out in Franklin, Tennessee.

00:26:53.440 I love it.

00:26:54.340 So I fly around the country.

00:26:55.880 I love it.

00:26:56.140 Well, you couldn't pick two better places

00:26:57.720 from one to the other.

00:26:59.000 And young man,

00:26:59.620 you got family out there as well.

00:27:01.040 Yes, I have family in Fresno.

00:27:03.080 Great spot, great spots in Central Valley,

00:27:05.240 represent.

00:27:05.640 And I love it.

00:27:07.960 I love California.

00:27:08.840 We really got to take it back.

00:27:10.360 It's been somewhere

00:27:10.940 that's been taken over the last 20 years.

00:27:13.280 I mean, it started with Schwarzenegger a little bit,

00:27:15.180 but it's gone downhill.

00:27:16.720 So-

00:27:17.100 Are you seeing your generation wake up?

00:27:18.980 You know, it used to be the counterculture

00:27:20.220 where all the free love

00:27:21.780 and all the sex and drugs and all that.

00:27:23.640 It seems like counterculture now

00:27:24.780 is actually thinking for yourself.

00:27:26.480 Are you seeing that shift,

00:27:28.080 the waking up of your generation?

00:27:29.840 Yes, I'm seeing a big shift

00:27:31.400 towards getting healthier,

00:27:32.420 also religious.

00:27:34.280 Like, there's a lot of people converting

00:27:35.660 just to Christianity, Catholicism.

00:27:37.760 That's something Kirk talked about earlier.

00:27:39.960 The shift is great.

00:27:41.140 I mean, we have Turning Point.

00:27:43.520 A lot has happened with Turning Point.

00:27:45.740 A lot of people are moving to the right

00:27:47.040 and we've seen that in polls.

00:27:48.180 We've seen that in the way people voted in 2024.

00:27:50.180 And ladies over here, 1.00

00:27:51.860 I met you at the hotel.

00:27:52.680 Come up here.

00:27:53.060 Come up here real quick.

00:27:54.320 Both of you, come here.

00:27:55.240 Okay, so where are you from

00:27:56.260 and why does this matter so much to you?

00:27:58.720 Okay, I'm from Florida

00:28:00.740 and this whole S.A.S. Summit

00:28:04.540 is very important to me

00:28:05.840 because Rav and also all of us

00:28:09.220 and Turning Point USA, thank you.

00:28:11.520 And what I wanted to address

00:28:14.040 was the Epstein.

00:28:16.820 Number one, I feel that

00:28:19.220 if there's redactions,

00:28:21.080 then what you are actually doing

00:28:22.400 is redacting the victims

00:28:24.020 that are experienced violence

00:28:26.480 and trauma.

00:28:29.480 And that's very important.

00:28:30.680 And the other second thing is

00:28:32.060 we, MAGA, have been trying to change

00:28:36.220 weaponization as well as lawfare

00:28:39.880 and we've seen the people suffer from it,

00:28:43.260 especially our president

00:28:44.180 of the United States of America.

00:28:45.880 And thank God we have him now

00:28:48.040 and thank God for you

00:28:49.260 and Turning Point USA.

00:28:50.880 God bless you.

00:28:51.920 Jack?

00:28:53.560 Oh, come on, come on. 1.00

00:28:55.360 I see you got the Israeli flag here.

00:28:57.660 You know, you look at

00:28:58.600 what's going on in the world.

00:29:00.080 How important is America

00:29:01.000 standing with Israel?

00:29:02.180 And you see that divide even in MAGA

00:29:04.000 on folks that, you know,

00:29:05.760 it's crazy.

00:29:07.700 I mean, I see people supporting Hamas.

00:29:09.220 I just spoke to the people there

00:29:11.020 and I was like,

00:29:11.580 it's just like crazy.

00:29:12.600 You know, what kind of country

00:29:13.560 are we living in?

00:29:14.160 How is this really happening?

00:29:16.000 It's very hard to comprehend this.

00:29:18.220 Although you did ask a question

00:29:19.380 about Turning Point.

00:29:20.360 I'm quicker than that.

00:29:21.700 About Turning Point.

00:29:23.100 And I just became Christian

00:29:25.200 and I was baptized

00:29:26.440 and I'm very excited about it.

00:29:29.040 Amen.

00:29:29.560 Yes.

00:29:29.940 Yeah, it's really changed my life.

00:29:31.460 I'm very late.

00:29:32.160 But the one thing

00:29:33.000 that really concerns me

00:29:34.760 is always the children.

00:29:37.040 And what I am very impressed

00:29:38.860 with here today

00:29:39.700 is how many young,

00:29:41.400 I was a professor,

00:29:42.500 how many young college students

00:29:44.540 are turning to Jesus.

00:29:46.600 Amen.

00:29:46.980 And without that,

00:29:48.000 what do we have, right?

00:29:49.620 Amen.

00:29:50.340 Amen.

00:29:50.860 Amen.

00:29:51.360 Amen.

00:29:51.780 No, absolutely.

00:29:52.840 Speaking of the,

00:29:53.920 with young heart

00:29:54.600 and the young over here,

00:29:55.480 what's your name?

00:29:55.860 Where are you from?

00:29:56.300 I'm Alexander

00:29:56.880 and I'm from California as well,

00:29:59.100 from the Sacramento area.

00:30:00.620 Okay.

00:30:00.840 And what do you think?

00:30:02.140 You got Gavin Newsom out there

00:30:03.200 attacking President Trump

00:30:04.420 saying don't go to these pot farms

00:30:06.840 because you're going to gas kids

00:30:08.440 when it's the pot farms

00:30:09.840 that are using child labor,

00:30:11.580 trafficked humans, 0.99

00:30:13.060 trafficked children as the labor.

00:30:15.120 Yeah, that's a huge issue for me.

00:30:17.420 And, but as we get closer to 2026,

00:30:20.980 my focus is kind of shifting

00:30:22.600 towards what's going to come

00:30:23.980 since Gavin Newsom can't run anymore.

00:30:26.020 And I'm one of 12.

00:30:27.860 And so I've got 11 siblings back home

00:30:30.280 who are trying to grow up in California.

00:30:32.280 But as if Kamala Harris decides to run

00:30:35.700 and it could get a lot worse.

00:30:39.880 Isn't that scary, Jack?

00:30:41.580 That, that we could go from

00:30:43.580 Gavin Newsom in California

00:30:45.100 to Kamala Harris as governor of California?

00:30:48.260 Don't say that.

00:30:49.200 I've got PTSD.

00:30:50.460 I totally forgot.

00:30:51.340 She, I've just getting over the,

00:30:54.440 the idea of Kamala Harris

00:30:56.060 existing in my mind.

00:30:57.340 Because Ben, remember,

00:30:58.440 I was going to all those,

00:31:00.020 oh, he's doing it.

00:31:01.240 I was going to all those Kamala Harris rallies.

00:31:03.920 And that's where we're kept,

00:31:05.280 my brothers around here.

00:31:06.000 We were dressing up as the white guys for Harris.

00:31:08.500 And we were going in.

00:31:09.860 And we just started trolling.

00:31:10.940 And it's, I've just,

00:31:12.140 I've just gotten the,

00:31:13.840 I've just taken enough showers

00:31:15.640 that I've got the stink 0.99

00:31:17.560 of those leftists off of me. 0.95

00:31:19.240 By the way, guys,

00:31:20.760 it looks like,

00:31:21.720 it looks like they're out of the vehicles here

00:31:24.600 with President Trump.

00:31:25.760 So I do want to see if,

00:31:28.040 So this is the command center, Jack,

00:31:29.800 that they're walking up to right now.

00:31:30.380 Okay, what are we looking at?

00:31:31.220 What are we looking at?

00:31:31.560 Yeah, this is the command center.

00:31:32.760 It looks like they're going to be going in.

00:31:34.340 This is where they're doing

00:31:35.080 all the press conferences

00:31:35.960 when we're down there.

00:31:36.860 So you think we're going to have

00:31:37.580 a briefing here in a minute?

00:31:38.520 Yeah, that's my guess.

00:31:39.200 Well, it's also where they're,

00:31:40.480 they're getting briefed.

00:31:41.920 President Trump,

00:31:42.700 when the governor,

00:31:44.520 Texas Governor Abbott came,

00:31:45.920 they come here,

00:31:46.620 they get briefed.

00:31:47.200 This is where the emergency management center,

00:31:49.100 basically everything,

00:31:50.340 all local, state,

00:31:51.480 and federal agencies

00:31:52.280 are based out of this location.

00:31:54.480 And then,

00:31:54.720 so he'll get briefed,

00:31:55.720 they'll get briefed,

00:31:56.580 and then they'll go

00:31:57.220 and do a gaggle, 0.99

00:31:58.600 a press conference

00:31:59.200 with the rest of the community.

00:32:01.560 It looks like they're headed in,

00:32:03.420 so we may get some coverage here.

00:32:05.580 Yeah, and what's interesting

00:32:07.000 is this is the youth center.

00:32:08.280 It's the youth convention center.

00:32:10.200 And you think about

00:32:10.840 how tragic this is

00:32:12.260 for the kids of Kerrville

00:32:14.360 and all of that surrounding

00:32:15.540 Hill Country region.

00:32:16.500 Well, and you have to imagine

00:32:17.840 that this is their friends,

00:32:20.140 this is their neighbors,

00:32:21.420 this is their parents,

00:32:22.540 this is, you know,

00:32:24.020 and it's summer, right?

00:32:25.420 You know, I've got kids

00:32:26.400 in, you know, summer camp

00:32:28.640 and we're going to swim camps

00:32:30.320 and swim clubs

00:32:31.640 and all the rest of it.

00:32:32.900 And, you know,

00:32:33.740 a tight-knit community like that,

00:32:35.480 now I can see them,

00:32:36.460 yeah, I can see them inside as well.

00:32:37.720 Yeah, unfortunately,

00:32:38.460 the cell service

00:32:39.760 or the service in there

00:32:40.700 for our equipment

00:32:41.320 is very spotty.

00:32:43.100 So call the cameraman,

00:32:44.820 tell them to get on the Wi-Fi there.

00:32:46.480 It's free, it's public.

00:32:47.380 So we'll get that shot back, hopefully.

00:32:49.380 But yeah, it's-

00:32:50.380 We're producing live, folks.

00:32:51.380 We're producing live.

00:32:52.220 That's how we do.

00:32:52.740 It's grassroots, right?

00:32:53.720 Let me flip back

00:32:55.060 because I wanted to get,

00:32:55.860 we have Libby Emmons in here now. 1.00

00:32:57.660 Libby, the editor of the Postmillennial,

00:33:00.180 the editor of Human Events,

00:33:01.880 Libby Emmons is here with us, folks.

00:33:04.620 But Libby, let me-

00:33:05.700 Let me ask you just,

00:33:08.460 if you can, to-

00:33:10.620 As a mom, right?

00:33:12.320 As a mom, you know,

00:33:14.000 you have to report stories like this,

00:33:16.460 unfortunately, on an increasing basis.

00:33:18.500 And we see this collapse of complex systems

00:33:22.580 where, and in many cases,

00:33:24.320 unfortunately, the victims are children.

00:33:26.440 Now, whether it be the Epstein case,

00:33:27.940 now that was certainly a complex system,

00:33:30.600 that the victims are children.

00:33:32.220 In this case, the victims are young girls.

00:33:34.420 And even in the helicopter crash

00:33:37.540 that we saw, this, you know,

00:33:41.140 mid-air collision with a Black Hawk helicopter

00:33:43.860 and a commuter plane

00:33:45.080 days after President Trump took office,

00:33:48.140 again, that was-

00:33:49.000 And I was there with Secretary Noem after.

00:33:51.000 As a mom, what do you think about

00:33:53.040 when you're reporting stories like this?

00:33:55.160 You know, I have to be honest.

00:33:56.260 I find it difficult to report stories like this.

00:33:59.080 That really started with the Uvalde school massacre.

00:34:03.240 I found it absolutely devastating.

00:34:04.260 Another great example.

00:34:04.780 I mean, Harvard's an example, but yes.

00:34:06.860 And so, you know, I'll see it as a, you know,

00:34:09.720 as an editor, as a journalist.

00:34:10.980 I have to report on these things.

00:34:12.600 And my first impulse is that I don't want to read these stories.

00:34:16.300 I don't want to look at it.

00:34:17.620 I don't want to see it.

00:34:18.720 But I know that we have to cover it.

00:34:21.320 Savannah, you know, it's really difficult as a mom

00:34:23.760 to, like, look at this kind of devastation

00:34:26.640 and really hard to look at this kind of devastation,

00:34:30.980 you know, because you talk to moms all the time. 0.98

00:34:33.060 And you know from being out there and what they say

00:34:36.760 that it's so hard to see this kind of tragedy

00:34:40.580 and to know that you have to look at your kids

00:34:43.580 and, like, go on and reassure them that, you know,

00:34:47.660 even if horrible things happen,

00:34:50.080 you're still going to have to get through it.

00:34:51.820 Oh, absolutely, Libby.

00:34:53.280 And even as a Texan, I think it was so heartbreaking

00:34:55.520 because we are hearing all of this news happen

00:34:57.980 and break on the 4th of July of all days.

00:35:00.680 So just to know that all of these beautiful young girls

00:35:03.440 were at this summer camp enjoying the time of their lives

00:35:06.140 and these devastating floods were happening,

00:35:08.160 again, it's just, it's heartwarming to see the president

00:35:10.460 on the ground.

00:35:11.080 It's heartwarming to see Texas' response.

00:35:13.280 So many people donated that, you know,

00:35:15.800 they had to outsource to other warehouses

00:35:17.760 because there were so many items.

00:35:19.580 And so we're still, again, searching for missing people.

00:35:23.880 We won't forget the devastation that happened here,

00:35:26.240 but Texas has really rallied together,

00:35:28.380 which has been great.

00:35:29.180 Yeah, I'm glad to hear that.

00:35:30.000 Libby, where is our reporting

00:35:32.800 and our investigation going on now?

00:35:34.500 I just asked Sav about this,

00:35:36.180 and Sav, of course, being local, is going to dig in more,

00:35:38.600 but this Austin fire chief,

00:35:40.200 what are we learning about this individual now?

00:35:42.360 Yeah, I thought this was really crazy.

00:35:44.020 This is something that you brought to my attention the other day,

00:35:46.560 looking at a fire chief who was more concerned

00:35:50.620 about budget shortfalls

00:35:51.980 and more concerned about whether or not

00:35:54.240 he was going to, you know,

00:35:55.440 be getting money back from the state

00:35:56.880 than he was about getting disaster teams out there

00:36:00.000 and relief teams out there.

00:36:01.460 And the statement I thought

00:36:02.580 that the Austin fire department released,

00:36:04.480 saying that they had to be concerned

00:36:06.300 about their own community first,

00:36:08.200 knowing that there wasn't that kind of risk going on there,

00:36:11.220 or I thought that was just such a terrible cover-up

00:36:14.220 when they should have been sharing the resources

00:36:16.900 that they had,

00:36:17.440 because I think the Austin fire department

00:36:20.960 is the one that has these super specialized teams.

00:36:24.380 It's like very, you know, in the state,

00:36:27.020 they have like some of the best equipment

00:36:28.380 and some of the best teams to do that kind of work.

00:36:31.360 Really devastating that they just didn't, you know,

00:36:33.940 put up and go out there.

00:36:35.180 And then to find that one of the things

00:36:37.040 that he really prioritized

00:36:38.180 after taking that position was diversity.

00:36:41.420 The thing about first responders

00:36:43.420 and, you know, chiefs and everybody saying,

00:36:45.920 I really want somebody out there.

00:36:47.600 You really want somebody coming to rescue you

00:36:49.300 who looks like you.

00:36:50.400 I don't want anyone coming to rescue me

00:36:52.220 who looks like me.

00:36:52.920 I can't rescue anything, you know?

00:36:55.080 Like I could rescue like a frog out of a pool filter,

00:36:57.640 but I can't rescue me.

00:36:59.200 I can't rescue anybody else.

00:37:00.920 I definitely don't want,

00:37:02.040 I want first responders to show up

00:37:03.500 who are strong and work hard

00:37:05.580 and like, you know, can lift things like houses.

00:37:09.180 And so, yeah, I think that's,

00:37:11.480 I was really ashamed to see that.

00:37:13.680 What does it say then that,

00:37:16.600 look, and, you know, you guys,

00:37:17.840 that's the mom response.

00:37:18.940 You know, you're talking about moms. 0.96

00:37:20.260 You're talking about the way moms respond 0.98

00:37:21.600 to these types of things.

00:37:22.580 I certainly know the way with the Tanya response

00:37:24.860 to these types.

00:37:25.420 It's very different for me.

00:37:26.420 But for me as a dad, right,

00:37:28.260 my response is whose job was it, right?

00:37:31.900 Whose job was it to make sure

00:37:33.260 that this didn't happen?

00:37:34.540 Whose job was it?

00:37:35.200 And when I saw that mayor of Kerrville

00:37:36.660 up there snapping at the journalists

00:37:38.320 saying, oh, wow,

00:37:39.820 you're too many people asking questions.

00:37:41.800 You need to be well behaved.

00:37:43.260 You need to raise your hand. 1.00

00:37:44.220 I said, shut up. 1.00

00:37:45.820 Shut up, you little fool. 1.00

00:37:47.920 These people are dead. 1.00

00:37:50.160 These children are dead.

00:37:52.020 Of course people are going to be angry.

00:37:53.840 Of course people are going to want to ask questions.

00:37:55.860 What did you know?

00:37:57.220 What did you know?

00:37:58.040 Why are we hearing

00:37:58.940 the Austin Fire Association president

00:38:01.380 saying that there is information on July 2nd,

00:38:04.300 which was two days before?

00:38:06.300 Okay, this was two days before it happened.

00:38:08.580 And were you on these calls?

00:38:10.620 Did you hear about this?

00:38:11.760 And again, by the way,

00:38:12.940 you're an elected official.

00:38:15.620 And guess what?

00:38:16.420 This is part of the job, buddy.

00:38:18.300 Part of the job means you're a leader.

00:38:20.340 And if you're going to be a leader,

00:38:21.920 that means you got to take accountability.

00:38:24.000 And that means if this happened on your watch,

00:38:26.020 well, that means maybe your leadership

00:38:27.820 was deficient in this case.

00:38:30.180 And that's coming from a military perspective, right?

00:38:33.460 And there are cases in the military

00:38:34.540 where people have to resign their command

00:38:36.100 because of things.

00:38:37.220 And yeah, maybe they didn't have a direct impact on it

00:38:40.280 or they had a direct decision.

00:38:41.400 It doesn't matter, right?

00:38:42.720 A leader takes responsibility.

00:38:45.060 A leader has to take accountability.

00:38:47.720 And what I saw at that press conference

00:38:49.140 was not leadership.

00:38:50.400 He was trying to pass the blame.

00:38:51.800 He was trying to point fingers,

00:38:53.200 pass the buck.

00:38:53.680 You know, I remember when I was young

00:38:55.860 in Catholic school, we had Sister Janet.

00:38:57.380 You know what Sister Janet used to say

00:38:58.520 about pointing fingers, right?

00:38:59.560 What did she say?

00:39:00.240 When you point a finger,

00:39:01.280 there's three fingers pointing back at you.

00:39:02.980 Right.

00:39:03.380 When you point a finger,

00:39:04.300 there's three fingers pointing back at you.

00:39:06.320 And it's just, it's always stuck with me.

00:39:08.860 I got to tell you,

00:39:09.380 it's just always stuck with me

00:39:10.660 what she said.

00:39:12.540 Now, I understand, by the way,

00:39:14.360 it does look as though President Trump,

00:39:17.940 I'm getting the message now from the producers,

00:39:19.460 that President Trump will be speaking soon

00:39:23.160 here at, you know, here,

00:39:26.020 oh, excuse me, not here,

00:39:26.680 but here within the hour,

00:39:28.180 within just a couple of minutes.

00:39:29.720 And, you know,

00:39:30.600 I really do hope that we get more of these answers.

00:39:33.240 And they're serious questions.

00:39:34.260 And I don't think that in any situation

00:39:36.980 where we have this horrific loss of life,

00:39:39.440 especially when it's people

00:39:40.940 at the very beginning of their lives,

00:39:43.200 that these questions are inadmissible.

00:39:45.900 In fact, these questions are more important.

00:39:47.720 You know, as someone who's from Austin,

00:39:51.640 as someone who's from the area,

00:39:53.200 I can only imagine what the people locally

00:39:56.280 are saying about this.

00:39:57.860 Yeah, Jack, I mean,

00:39:58.780 I have a friend whose entire neighborhood

00:40:00.240 was washed away.

00:40:01.120 And to the point, in Austin,

00:40:03.160 you know, an area a little bit north of Austin,

00:40:05.640 the Leander area,

00:40:06.680 they were really hard hit with flooding.

00:40:08.320 Like I said, you had people that died there.

00:40:09.660 You had people that are still missing.

00:40:11.080 I have a friend on the ground

00:40:11.960 who's been covering the story

00:40:12.880 for the last couple of days.

00:40:14.240 And he states that there have been no local police.

00:40:16.900 There have been no firefighting officials

00:40:18.360 that have been in the area.

00:40:19.440 I don't know.

00:40:20.680 He's been reporting there

00:40:21.700 and he's just been stating

00:40:22.640 that it has been up to the locals.

00:40:24.080 And I think that this, again,

00:40:25.520 goes back to the Austin local government.

00:40:29.480 They've been this way

00:40:30.340 for a long time at this point.

00:40:32.360 I mean, back in 2020,

00:40:33.320 they severely defunded the police

00:40:34.660 on behalf of the Black Lives Matter movement

00:40:36.640 by extension that has bled

00:40:38.100 into other forms of our local government.

00:40:40.340 And then this is the result of the response.

00:40:42.280 So it's ineptitude.

00:40:43.780 It is, again, these DEI hires

00:40:45.260 being released into Texas

00:40:47.200 to only further destruction.

00:40:49.460 And, you know, Jack, to your point,

00:40:50.660 we do live in the first world.

00:40:51.880 We do expect to have leaders in the first world

00:40:54.740 who stand up, are strong leaders,

00:40:56.480 and actually get things done properly.

00:40:58.200 Yeah, I was on a show the other day with somebody

00:41:00.300 and we kind of had this sort of debate

00:41:02.000 about whether or not the pre-deployment

00:41:03.600 would have helped or anything.

00:41:04.440 I said, wait a minute.

00:41:05.240 You know, if you had had just a couple people

00:41:07.340 who were trained in this sort of thing,

00:41:09.420 who knows?

00:41:10.280 Those guys could have been going up and down the river

00:41:12.300 looking for certain things that would be at risk,

00:41:15.340 handing out flotation devices,

00:41:17.200 trying to figure out, okay,

00:41:18.640 if this river does flood over,

00:41:21.460 who's going to be the most at risk?

00:41:23.320 Young children, okay?

00:41:24.380 You know what?

00:41:24.700 Hey, here's some life preservers.

00:41:25.980 Here's some life...

00:41:26.380 And look, I'm not trying to, you know,

00:41:28.760 Monday morning quarterback this thing,

00:41:30.520 but guess what?

00:41:31.660 You do have to take accountability.

00:41:33.740 And when you have a situation like this,

00:41:35.300 you do have to err on the side of caution.

00:41:38.060 And unfortunately, people say,

00:41:39.820 it's tough with the DEI issue, right?

00:41:42.200 But this is why DEI does cost lives all over our country

00:41:46.380 because people say,

00:41:48.560 oh, well, you can't prove there's a direct link.

00:41:50.600 No, that's the point.

00:41:52.060 When you change your system,

00:41:53.800 rather than...

00:41:54.360 Look, when I had to get, you know,

00:41:57.020 I had to get some, like, dental surgery recently.

00:41:59.600 When I go to the surgeon,

00:42:00.980 I want to make sure I have the best surgeon.

00:42:02.800 I don't care what the color of his skin is. 0.96

00:42:04.820 When I put my children on an airplane,

00:42:06.660 I want to make sure they have the best pilot.

00:42:08.660 It's about expecting the best of the best

00:42:10.740 in these no-fail missions.

00:42:12.340 And suddenly, after the country has turned,

00:42:14.640 really since the Obama era, to DEI,

00:42:16.660 more and more of these complex systems are collapsing.

00:42:19.500 Well, and the thing is, too,

00:42:20.380 that you can't serve two masters, right?

00:42:22.520 You can either serve excellence

00:42:24.160 or you can serve a diversity mission.

00:42:26.660 You can't do both.

00:42:27.820 And you can't expect that by serving

00:42:29.440 your diversity mission first,

00:42:30.700 you're going to just fall into excellence

00:42:32.560 because that's not what's going to happen.

00:42:34.240 You have to really prioritize

00:42:35.460 what your intention is and what your goal is

00:42:37.860 and then go for that.

00:42:40.280 Absolutely.

00:42:40.860 And again, like you guys were just stating,

00:42:42.360 I think we saw the direct results of DEI

00:42:44.740 over the last four years

00:42:45.760 and we're still seeing those holdovers.

00:42:47.800 So, I don't know.

00:42:48.540 People say there's no correlation.

00:42:49.820 I think there absolutely is, Jack.

00:42:51.360 And we can see that in the way

00:42:53.060 that our systems have run

00:42:54.340 for the past couple of years at this point.

00:42:57.480 Yeah, people want to talk about

00:42:58.620 air traffic control issues,

00:43:00.440 flight issues in general,

00:43:01.920 issues like the response.

00:43:03.520 Issues like the response to Uvaldi.

00:43:06.060 Which was so bad.

00:43:06.980 I mean, that was...

00:43:07.380 Which was so bad.

00:43:09.240 And again, it always comes down

00:43:10.620 and you find this hire

00:43:11.580 and they say,

00:43:12.200 oh, well, we had a diversity initiative

00:43:14.020 and we wanted to hire this guy

00:43:15.860 who brought in for a certain reason.

00:43:17.740 And suddenly it just goes...

00:43:18.920 It always seems to come back to that.

00:43:20.900 And I remember the case of Uvaldi as well

00:43:22.840 where nobody could figure out

00:43:24.660 who was actually in charge.

00:43:25.980 And then finally,

00:43:27.120 it was, by the way,

00:43:28.720 the Bortak guys from ICE

00:43:31.760 who said,

00:43:32.900 you know what? 0.96

00:43:33.700 Screw this guy. 0.88

00:43:34.800 We're going to knock the door down 1.00

00:43:36.000 and shoot this kid in the head 1.00

00:43:37.500 who's going and went around the room 1.00

00:43:40.560 executing people.

00:43:41.940 And eventually, 0.93

00:43:42.540 you just do need to get someone to do that.

00:43:45.060 And I think that as a country,

00:43:47.440 that's more and more of where we've gotten.

00:43:50.360 That's why it's situations like that

00:43:52.420 that lead people

00:43:53.700 to want to elect a Donald Trump

00:43:55.900 who lead people

00:43:56.800 who just want to see 0.97

00:43:58.300 the darn thing solved. 0.98

00:44:00.120 Yeah, no, I think that's exactly right. 0.99

00:44:02.000 And that's the most important thing, right?

00:44:03.560 Like, planes shouldn't be falling out of the sky.

00:44:06.180 Pick the pilot

00:44:06.800 who isn't going to make things fall out of the sky.

00:44:09.380 You know, cops need to go in

00:44:11.080 and take care of kids

00:44:12.240 who are being massacred in schools.

00:44:14.480 And there can't be any reason

00:44:15.940 that you have somebody

00:44:16.800 who's going to stand back.

00:44:17.980 It just can't happen.

00:44:19.920 Now, we have this issue as well

00:44:21.440 with this fire chief.

00:44:23.560 And people said,

00:44:24.400 you know, Libby,

00:44:24.860 you and I were talking earlier

00:44:25.780 when we started looking into this guy.

00:44:27.200 We said, well, is he woke?

00:44:28.500 Or is he just, you know,

00:44:29.460 I don't want to call somebody woke 0.89

00:44:30.800 if there isn't a track record

00:44:32.200 of this kind of stuff.

00:44:33.040 So let's look into his background.

00:44:34.360 And we find,

00:44:35.240 and immediately what we find

00:44:37.180 flying around is,

00:44:39.780 oh, okay, look.

00:44:41.000 Let's see.

00:44:41.460 He fired a chaplain

00:44:44.260 who said he didn't believe

00:44:46.460 that trans should be in women's sports. 0.99

00:44:48.020 He fired the chaplain

00:44:49.540 of the Austin Fire Department

00:44:51.180 over this.

00:44:52.080 We're writing that,

00:44:52.660 by the way,

00:44:52.960 on his personal blog.

00:44:54.460 Right.

00:44:54.680 He didn't even say it.

00:44:55.620 It was just like his own thing.

00:44:56.700 Didn't even say it publicly.

00:44:57.620 Yeah.

00:44:58.240 Then we,

00:44:58.760 what was the other thing?

00:44:59.380 We found that he was responsible

00:45:01.900 as well for cutting these budgets.

00:45:04.800 And he was the one

00:45:05.980 who was pushing more diversity hires

00:45:08.320 on the Austin Fire Department.

00:45:09.660 Right.

00:45:09.940 So that you have more firefighters

00:45:11.240 who look like you,

00:45:12.700 which is totally irrelevant.

00:45:14.480 It just doesn't matter

00:45:15.360 if firefighters look like you.

00:45:16.860 So, Sav,

00:45:17.240 you live in Austin.

00:45:18.840 When you consider the fire response,

00:45:20.960 like,

00:45:21.260 you want to make sure

00:45:22.040 that if your house is on fire

00:45:23.300 and your family's in there,

00:45:24.580 you're saying,

00:45:24.960 hey, wait,

00:45:25.300 before you go in there,

00:45:26.160 let me just check

00:45:26.840 the diversity quota, right?

00:45:28.200 That's usually what you're looking at?

00:45:29.520 I usually stop the firefighters

00:45:30.840 before they enter my home.

00:45:32.060 And I'm like,

00:45:32.500 wait,

00:45:32.700 let's go ahead

00:45:33.140 and do a skin color match here.

00:45:34.680 I don't know

00:45:35.000 if I'm comfortable with you

00:45:36.020 coming in up,

00:45:36.660 putting the fire out of my house

00:45:37.660 if you don't look like me.

00:45:38.640 Right. 0.97

00:45:38.860 It's ridiculous, Jack. 0.94

00:45:40.060 And, you know, 0.95

00:45:40.580 to your guys' points too

00:45:41.400 about the fire department,

00:45:42.620 police department

00:45:43.200 is the exact same way,

00:45:44.220 which is why

00:45:44.680 you now have people in Austin

00:45:45.880 being told to call 3-1-1

00:45:47.240 for crimes.

00:45:48.280 I mean,

00:45:48.500 it's essentially turning

00:45:49.220 into mini San Francisco.

00:45:49.820 Wait, what does that mean?

00:45:50.700 What does that mean?

00:45:51.140 It means 3-1-1 for crimes?

00:45:53.040 Yes.

00:45:53.320 So it's like basically

00:45:54.160 if you're not being murdered,

00:45:55.400 it's like the city service, right?

00:45:55.880 Yeah.

00:45:56.060 If you're not being murdered,

00:45:57.280 if you're not dying,

00:45:58.420 or if you're not a part

00:45:59.260 of an active crime,

00:46:00.340 like let's say someone comes

00:46:01.320 and, you know,

00:46:01.980 breaks into your vehicle,

00:46:02.920 you don't call 9-1-1.

00:46:04.080 You just called

00:46:04.600 the 3-1-1 service

00:46:05.680 because they're so understaffed

00:46:06.860 in Austin.

00:46:07.000 They have this in New York too.

00:46:08.280 It's just a service

00:46:09.000 that it's supposed to be like

00:46:10.280 your basic stuff.

00:46:11.560 If your trash didn't get picked up,

00:46:12.900 you call 3-1-1.

00:46:13.840 Or apparently,

00:46:14.960 if your dog gets stolen,

00:46:16.200 you call 3-1-1.

00:46:17.380 Yeah, you don't call the police

00:46:18.220 anymore for crimes, basically.

00:46:19.080 Guys, we're going to,

00:46:20.140 President Trump is here,

00:46:21.560 sat here to speak imminently.

00:46:23.740 He's down,

00:46:24.500 Kerrville, Texas.

00:46:25.800 He's meeting with them.

00:46:26.900 Tell everyone your social media.

00:46:28.520 We're going to hand off here
