Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec - HUMAN EVENTS DAILY： NOV 30 2021 - GHISLAINE MAXWELL TRIAL： SEVERAL JURORS GO MISSING

00:00:00.000 We finally got it. Yesterday, I was able to go, both me and Charlie, we were driving and we

00:00:06.500 checked out the house that I'm going to rent for the family for America Fest down in Phoenix.

00:00:12.320 It's kind of between Phoenix, Scottsdale. It's not right downtown or anything, but I really,

00:00:17.780 really like it. Total Southwest style. I think the family's going to love it. I think the kids

00:00:22.440 are going to love it. I think the adult kids and the senior kids, like the two grandpas,

00:00:27.020 are going to enjoy it. It's going to be really great. We're very, very excited to go out there.

00:00:31.680 That's why I went to Phoenix to help do some of the prep work for America Fest. Make sure you get

00:00:36.080 your tickets in now because this thing is going to sell out. People are going to come to me and

00:00:40.360 they're going to say, Poso, you keep talking about America Fest, you got to get me in. I'm going to

00:00:44.240 be like, guys, what do you want me to do? I told you. I told you every single day to go to tposa.com

00:00:49.960 backslash America Fest, use promo code POSO, all caps, 25% off. I'll see you there.

00:00:57.020 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily. Today's top

00:01:01.500 stories. Delane Maxwell trial has been delayed or was delayed yesterday as several jurors went

00:01:08.860 missing. They didn't show up. We'll talk about why. Next, new text messages show that Chris Cuomo of

00:01:14.600 CNN was digging up intel on his brother's accusers. Third, the Pfizer CEO has called for annual

00:01:22.400 vaccinations. It's going to be like your flu shot. And finally, CNN's Brian Stelter melting

00:01:28.080 down over President Biden memes. You've got to watch this clip while there's more head human events

00:01:33.360 daily.

00:01:33.620 So the Galane Maxwell trial has begun or did it begin because it was actually delayed a little

00:01:50.740 bit yesterday. If you read the Miami Herald's account of all this, you go down about 12 paragraphs

00:01:57.080 into the story. And what do you find? The trial got off to a bumpy start when several potential

00:02:03.540 jurors couldn't be found. One of them forgot about the trial and two others said they couldn't serve

00:02:10.380 because of various issues. In one instance, a potential juror said her husband had just surprised

00:02:16.140 her with a trip during the holidays that would interfere with her serving for the trial, which is

00:02:21.360 expected to last three to six weeks. Do you understand what's going on here, folks? Do you all

00:02:26.340 understand? None of them want to serve on this jury. That husband, he's a hero. He's trying to

00:02:34.120 protect his wife. He says, get out. Do not be involved with any. Once he found out what case it

00:02:40.480 was and which one they were actually going to be serving on, he's like, we're skipping town. We're

00:02:44.680 getting out of the country. We're getting as far away as possible. Do not serve on that jury. Don't even

00:02:50.640 be anywhere near involved with anything about Epstein, Lady Epstein, any of this stuff.

00:02:58.420 So go listen to how the trial has been covered. Actually, Inside Edition had a pretty good clip

00:03:03.440 on it. Take a listen.

00:03:04.160 The sex trafficking trial of Ghislaine Maxwell got underway today. The socialite is accused of

00:03:08.780 grooming underage girls for her former boyfriend, Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself in prison in

00:03:13.580 2019. Maxwell's family claims she's being horribly mistreated in a jail that's been described as a

00:03:19.660 hellhole. With her head held high, a Jeffrey Epstein victim shows up at court for a historic day.

00:03:26.300 The trial of Epstein's ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. Sarah Ransom says she was repeatedly raped

00:03:32.260 on Epstein's private Caribbean island getaway when she was 22. Ghislaine Maxwell is on trial for

00:03:38.680 allegedly training and recruiting young women for Epstein's private harem. She denies all allegations.

00:03:45.120 Inside Edition reporter Allison Hall was in the courtroom.

00:03:48.160 Ghislaine Maxwell was wearing a cream sweater and her dark hair was down to her shoulders 0.95

00:03:53.360 with a white face mask while she listened intently to the prosecutors present to the jury. 0.60

00:04:00.200 They told the jury that Ghislaine and Epstein were partners in crime, finding and grooming young

00:04:06.440 teenage girls to be sexually abused.

00:04:08.800 Maxwell has spent the last 17 months in the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn,

00:04:15.000 once described as a hellhole, and the target of protesters in 2019 who said there was no heat or power.

00:04:22.180 Get that heat on!

00:04:23.640 Get those, Maxwell! 0.65

00:04:24.840 Quite a downfall for the former socialite who counted Britain's Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton as her friends.

00:04:31.560 She even attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding.

00:04:33.760 When she was arrested in July last year, she was found living in secret in a hideaway mansion in New Hampshire.

00:04:39.760 59-year-old Maxwell claims she is enduring smelly toilets and has to eat moldy salad.

00:04:45.760 Every 15 minutes at night, she has a flashlight shine in her eyes to make sure she doesn't commit suicide as Epstein did.

00:04:52.760 This photo of her with a black eye was released by her lawyer earlier this year.

00:04:57.760 Her wealthy siblings have even complained to the United Nations that she's being subjected to degrading treatment.

00:05:03.760 For Ghislaine Maxwell, is this culture shock?

00:05:05.760 There is no doubt it is the culture shock of her lifetime.

00:05:09.760 Justin Paperni served 18 months for securities fraud.

00:05:12.760 He advises defendants about to go to prison.

00:05:15.760 The more she complains about that environment, the more it's going to feed those that say, 1.00

00:05:19.760 good, I hope it gets even worse. It's a world that in her wildest dream, she never would have imagined.

00:05:25.760 Now, I want to be very clear about what's going on.

00:05:27.760 I went on Charlie Kirk's podcast yesterday and talked about this.

00:05:30.760 The Ghislaine Maxwell trial is an attempt to make you anti-interested.

00:05:35.760 It is an anti-interest propaganda campaign or there's a disinformation campaign around it.

00:05:40.760 I don't mean the case itself, but be very careful about what we're talking about here.

00:05:43.760 There's the Epstein network and then there's Ghislaine Maxwell herself. 0.98

00:05:48.760 They want you focused on Ghislaine Maxwell.

00:05:52.760 They don't want you focused or asking any questions about that Epstein network and who was in that little black book.

00:06:00.760 They don't want to talk about it. They don't want to say anything about this.

00:06:04.760 They want Ghislaine Maxwell to be the first and last thing you hear about this.

00:06:08.760 And her lawyers, absolute travesty. They're terrible.

00:06:12.760 I'm telling you right now, she is on a quick and easy path to a conviction.

00:06:16.760 The victims are coming up to testify and Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers are attacking the victims.

00:06:22.760 They're bickering about technicalities in their opening statement. Why?

00:06:26.760 Because they have no actual defense.

00:06:28.760 They have no actual evidence that she's innocent of these crimes.

00:06:32.760 There was potentially a path forward, but this, no.

00:06:34.760 Ghislaine, take the deal.

00:06:36.760 Name the names.

00:06:38.760 Save yourself.

00:06:40.760 Name the names of the Epstein network.

00:06:43.760 So I was just in Phoenix the other day.

00:06:49.760 I'm in Los Angeles today.

00:06:51.760 And then I'm heading back to Washington, D.C.

00:06:53.760 But one thing I was actually able to do while I was on the flight from D.C. to Phoenix was logged into the Wi-Fi, went to MyPillow.com.

00:07:01.760 And I said, you know what? I got a couple of hours.

00:07:03.760 I'm going to sit here and I'm going to go through it.

00:07:05.760 I'm going to get my Christmas order in.

00:07:07.760 I'm going to get everything from my family.

00:07:09.760 I'm going to get some stuff that I can donate to our local church.

00:07:11.760 They're doing a Christmas drive for needy families.

00:07:13.760 I'm going to do it all through MyPillow.com.

00:07:15.760 And it was really fast.

00:07:17.760 It was really easy to do it.

00:07:18.760 One thing I found that was so convenient is because, of course, I'm going to use promo code POSO, right?

00:07:23.760 So I use promo code POSO.

00:07:24.760 So you know how you put it in when you add an item to the cart.

00:07:28.760 Well, what's really nice is if you do that once, then you go and you're ordering other items before you make your checkout.

00:07:34.760 It automatically loads the promo code for each of the items as you go.

00:07:38.760 So you don't have to do it automatically or you don't have to do it manually for each one.

00:07:42.760 So I just thought that was a really convenient way to help out.

00:07:45.760 And for you guys, for your families, for yourselves, if you want to do a donation drive this Christmas, go to MyPillow.com, use promo code POSO.

00:07:52.760 So you will not do wrong on that site finding your next gifts.

00:07:57.760 But one family that is probably not going to be having a very nice Christmas is the Cuomo family.

00:08:03.760 So sorry, not really.

00:08:05.760 From the Free Beacon, Chris Cuomo shared intel on Brothers Accuser text messages show.

00:08:12.760 We're going to talk about these text messages and we're also going to talk about the fact that CNN and the majority of the mainstream media didn't cover this at all.

00:08:19.760 However, in a, as Rush Limbaugh used to say, a rare moment of journalism, NBC News actually covered this scandal.

00:08:27.760 Take a listen.

00:08:28.760 Over nearly 11 hours of questioning under oath.

00:08:31.760 Yes, I do.

00:08:32.760 About allegations of sexual harassment.

00:08:35.760 If somebody were to sit on my lap, you know, I wouldn't, I wouldn't push them off, you know, but as a general rule, no.

00:08:46.760 Then New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was at times testy with investigators.

00:08:51.760 Do you understand what a girlfriend is?

00:08:53.760 Oh, girlfriend means different things to different people.

00:08:55.760 Denying claims by former administration official Lindsey Boylan that he asked her to play strip poker.

00:09:01.760 Never happened.

00:09:02.760 Disputing that he made an unwanted advance to Anna Rook at a wedding, the photo published in the New York Times.

00:09:08.760 Do you remember ever asking her on any occasion, can I kiss you, may I kiss you?

00:09:15.760 No, I don't remember that.

00:09:17.760 Videos of Cuomo and six of his accusers released today by the New York Attorney General's office.

00:09:23.760 Cuomo will be arraigned in January for allegedly groping an aide's breast at the executive mansion in December 2020.

00:09:30.760 Though not named in the complaint, the story mirrors that of executive assistant Brittany Camiso.

00:09:35.760 I remember his hand just sliding right up my blouse.

00:09:40.760 Cuomo insists that never happened.

00:09:43.760 It would be an act of insanity to touch a woman's breast and make myself vulnerable to a woman for such an accusation.

00:10:03.760 Today's release also includes an interview with his brother, CNN's Chris Cuomo, and text messages showing he tried to help the governor's staff by checking his sources about new accusers.

00:10:15.760 The free beacon continues. A new trove of text messages was released as part of New York Attorney General Letitia James investigation of former governor Andrew Cuomo.

00:10:24.760 And it shows that current CNN host Chris Cuomo contacted friends in the media industry, his buddies, he's very well connected in New York media obviously, to find out which news organizations planned to publish stories about his brother's alleged victims.

00:10:41.760 He also texted with advisors saying he had a lead on one of the alleged victims.

00:10:48.760 The exchanges were largely with Melissa de Rosa, a longtime aide to Andrew Cuomo and longtime listeners of Human Events Daily will know that I said, Melissa, you need to walk away from the Cuomo family and you need to do so immediately.

00:11:02.760 She finally did, but not until after the damage was done. Melissa, you got involved with the wrong family. You backed the wrong horse. You never should have gotten involved with the Cuomos. You never should have hung your hack on them. You never should have hitched your wagon to that horse. 0.97

00:11:21.000 This is bad. This is bad. This is really bad, not only for Melissa de Rosa, who should go to jail for her crimes and her involvement in this, but for Chris Cuomo. How can you have him on after this and even the Atlantic, I mean, the Atlantic is as far left as it gets.

00:11:36.380 They are part of the narrative police of the regime. They are part of the actual commissars that protect the regime. They're also huge, huge backers of overseas wars, everything else. They want the prestige and power of the mainstream media to be returned.

00:11:51.560 This is a huge problem for them because everyone could see when Chris Cuomo and his brother, the governor were going on TV together, talking about cotton swabs and all this junk during the pandemic.

00:12:04.000 And then all this stuff comes out and we find out that not only was Chris Cuomo, not only was he supporting his brother. And I could see that, by the way, I could see someone saying, I stand by my brother, right? I get that. I'm a family guy. I have a brother, but I don't have a brother like that.

00:12:18.400 And I didn't. And I didn't use my position, right? To do what Chris Cuomo did. He went to his sources in media and tried to use them to attack or prepare attacks on the possible victims of Cuomo. This is a huge problem. CNN needs to fire him immediately. He needs to step down. Chris Cuomo, you already lost all credibility. It's time for you to lose your job.

00:12:48.400 Well, we've got a new update from our medical overlords from Pfizer. By the way, that's why I have to say it. Pfizer. It's the proud German pronunciation of the pharmaceutical company. Pfizer.

00:13:01.960 Here is the Pfizer CEO calling for a new answer, a new response to Omicron, the other variants that are coming out. What does he say? It's very simple. We're going to have annual vaccinations. Isn't that nice? It'll be just like the flu shot. Take a listen.

00:13:16.160 So, Albert, if you do sort of adapt your vaccine all the time and we can do it quickly and you're able to do that sort of in a flu vaccine type fashion to the new variants from COVID.

00:13:34.420 Do you foresee that this would be, would you call it a booster? We'd get another booster every year or it would be a modified booster that would provide a better antigenic response than the original vaccine?

00:13:49.140 Well, do you see this happening every year? We either get a booster, a regular booster of the same vaccine or a slightly different vaccine every year to deal with what we're seeing with these mutations?

00:14:01.060 Is that what you foresee? It's almost like a, I mean, for Pfizer, you'd be selling these things every year.

00:14:07.520 Not that you want to do that. I'm sure you're not hoping for that, but it'd be almost like an annuity for Pfizer.

00:14:14.140 I did make a projection months ago that the most likely scenario, it is that we will need after the third dose annual revaccinations against COVID for multiple reasons,

00:14:24.340 because of the immunity that will be raining, because of the virus that I'm sure will be maintained around the world for the years to come,

00:14:31.560 and also because of the need of variants that will emerge.

00:14:37.140 I'm more confident right now that this will be the case than I was when I made the projection.

00:14:44.380 I think we are going to have an annual revaccination.

00:14:47.340 I don't know how we're going to call it, but it will be an annual revaccination, and that should be able to keep us really safe.

00:14:54.560 An annual vaccination to keep us all really safe.

00:14:58.640 Do you feel safe? Don't you feel great, everyone?

00:15:01.400 And I think the dirty little secret in a lot of this is that people made claims, people like President Biden made claims,

00:15:10.340 saying things like, if you get vaccinated, you can't get COVID. If you get vaccinated, you don't have to wear a mask anymore.

00:15:16.060 If you get vaccinated, you can't spread the disease.

00:15:18.560 That obviously has failed to be the case, and it continues to fail to be the case.

00:15:23.760 However, one thing that I'm not hearing a lot of from anyone in corporate media, regime media, in terms of all of this,

00:15:30.420 is the fact that the South African doctor that discovered the Omicron variant

00:15:35.300 is going around telling everybody that it's not as deadly, it's not as severe as previous variants.

00:15:41.200 That seems like it should be a good thing.

00:15:43.220 Like, you don't have to worry about this strain as much.

00:15:45.780 That being said, we're not hearing that because, of course, there's no incentive for anyone to do that.

00:15:52.640 But next up, I have an interesting take.

00:15:55.280 Nancy Mace, Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina, who I've called a Fed on numerous occasions. 1.00

00:16:01.320 Listen to what she just did.

00:16:02.540 She's got caught in a two-faced scam on Fox News and CNN. 0.98

00:16:07.580 In some studies that I've read, natural immunity gives you 27 times more protection against future COVID infection than a vaccination.

00:16:15.660 And so we need to take all of the science into account and not selectively choosing what science to follow

00:16:21.520 when we are making policy decisions.

00:16:23.300 And I've been a proponent of vaccinations and wearing masks when we need to.

00:16:28.300 And we had the Delta variant raging in South Carolina. 0.58

00:16:31.340 I wrote an op-ed to my community.

00:16:33.560 And I've worked with our State Department of Health.

00:16:35.720 I've run ads encouraging my district to go and get vaccinated.

00:16:39.960 And when we have these variants and we have these spikes to take every precaution from washing our hands

00:16:44.320 to wearing the N95 or KN95 masks more than the medical masks,

00:16:49.260 there is a statistically significant number of people that are protected from COVID when they wear those masks.

00:16:55.720 And I just returned from the Indo-Pacific region.

00:16:58.620 Now, Nancy Mace, we see what you did.

00:17:01.660 You went on Fox and you talked about natural immunity because you're pandering to one audience.

00:17:06.200 Then you go to CNN and you're talking about masks and vaccine because you're pandering to that audience.

00:17:13.440 And I'll give you one shout-out.

00:17:15.640 Nancy Mace recently went to Taiwan.

00:17:17.780 She stood with the people of Taiwan.

00:17:19.400 And I think that's commendable.

00:17:20.620 And I think that's a really good thing.

00:17:22.200 But at the same time, the people of America are the ones you represent.

00:17:26.760 And the people of America deserve better than to have a two-faced representative talking out of both sides of your mouth.

00:17:36.880 It's quite simple.

00:17:38.740 Pick your team and stay on it and stop lying to people.

00:17:42.580 Just stop lying, Nancy.

00:17:47.680 So one of the big news items from yesterday that I never think everybody caught was the resignation of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

00:17:55.180 This is terrible for free speech.

00:17:56.520 This is really bad.

00:17:57.840 This means the Wokes have won.

00:18:00.140 Dorsey was one of the last bulwarks against a full-on Woketopian takeover of Twitter. 0.56

00:18:06.660 That's what's going to happen now.

00:18:07.980 And the new CEO is already talking about censorship and ways to undermine the First Amendment.

00:18:13.260 That is why, folks, it's time to get into the lifeboats.

00:18:17.500 It's time to start moving off of Twitter.

00:18:19.760 And I've already done that.

00:18:20.960 I've set up a getter page.

00:18:22.840 And the traction on there that we've been getting, the engagement is fantastic.

00:18:26.140 Go get on Getter. 0.54

00:18:27.620 It's G-E-T-T-R. 1.00

00:18:29.240 It's fantastic.

00:18:30.640 You will find like-minded people.

00:18:32.580 You will find a ton of top influencers, conservatives, as well as some people who are conservative, lawmakers, and even elected officials and pop culture icons are going all on Getter.

00:18:44.940 Get on Getter today.

00:18:47.440 Get on the lifeboats.

00:18:48.700 Get off of Twitter.

00:18:49.500 But there's one person who's not very happy with social media.

00:18:53.420 And of course, it's Brian Stetler.

00:18:54.880 And I don't think I've ever seen that guy happy in his life.

00:18:57.120 He seems a very sad and abysmally droll individual.

00:19:00.720 But unfortunately for him, we get to watch his show and laugh at this hour-long misery session every Sunday.

00:19:08.760 So he's out there trying to see what he can do to carry water for President Biden in his completely failed agenda.

00:19:15.640 And he says the problem with the polling isn't the administration or anything they've ever done.

00:19:20.180 No, it's the memes.

00:19:22.320 It's the memes on social media.

00:19:24.700 Take a listen to this.

00:19:25.360 Progressive quarters of the press have been gripped with alarm about whether people are hearing about wins, whether they are hearing about bills passed and victories achieved, or whether Joe and Jane Consumer are mostly hearing about Let's Go Brandon, mostly just laughing at Biden.

00:19:42.100 The poll numbers have been a real focus.

00:19:44.600 This focus group by the center-left group Third Way found that Virginia voters could not name anything that Democrats had done, except a few who said we passed an infrastructure bill.

00:19:54.320 That's the quote from the report.

00:19:56.500 So the meta story is Biden has not changed anything, has not fixed anything.

00:20:02.180 Folks on TV cover the daily dimensions of the Build Back Better bill and every other story under the sun.

00:20:06.420 But the overall narrative is they are all fighting in D.C. and we are not benefiting.

00:20:12.120 Is that a right-wing narrative?

00:20:13.480 Maybe.

00:20:14.160 It certainly helps the right-wing.

00:20:15.720 It's always easier to condemn than create.

00:20:18.040 Always easier to mock than make.

00:20:20.700 But there's something bigger going on here, something bigger than Biden.

00:20:23.900 The media universe has fundamentally changed.

00:20:26.840 Or actually, it's better to say it is changing every day in ways that make America a different country to govern, a more difficult country to govern.

00:20:36.260 It is increasingly a country with many alternative facts.

00:20:39.940 Disproving viral tweets is different than debunking a TV ad.

00:20:44.020 Combating meme makers is different than rebutting newspaper columnists.

00:20:48.440 And the memes are pretty powerful sometimes.

00:20:51.780 My suburban grocery store has never had empty shelves like that.

00:20:54.280 But the messaging here, saying that Biden is to blame for anything bad about the economy, it is clearly sticking to some degree.

00:21:01.160 Even though economists believe GDP is going to surge this quarter, even though the American recovery is historically strong after the pandemic, the meta story is that we are in choppy waters.

00:21:10.440 As Jonathan Chait wrote in this New York Magazine cover story, nobody can ascertain exactly why the public has turned so sour so fast.

00:21:20.040 He said Biden is like a patient wasting away from some unrecognizable, sorry, undiagnosable disease.

00:21:27.520 I feel bad for Brian Settler.

00:21:28.980 I really do.

00:21:29.720 It's like, dude, you're obviously a stress eater, right?

00:21:32.800 Stop focusing so much of your life and your energy on this.

00:21:38.240 Walk away.

00:21:39.200 It doesn't mean you have to go and become a conservative.

00:21:41.480 Just walk away, right?

00:21:43.480 Get yourself together.

00:21:45.140 Get some mental, emotional discipline.

00:21:47.980 Start praying more.

00:21:49.220 Start exercising.

00:21:50.380 You will do much better, my friend.

00:21:52.120 All right, ladies and gentlemen, that is it for myself here in Los Angeles, California.

00:21:56.880 I promise, I know, I am not going to be spending too much time out on the street, as I tell everybody, get out of cities.

00:22:03.980 That's why I'm fortunately in a safe location, and I'm far, far away from any of the problem areas.

00:22:10.320 But I'm still going to be quite wary.

00:22:12.500 That being said, remember to share this podcast out with everyone.

00:22:16.520 Be part of the Influence Agent Network.

00:22:20.340 Be good, be brief, be gone.

00:22:22.260 That's our motto.

00:22:23.260 Today's moment of history, really good one.

00:22:25.140 In 1835, today was the day Mark Twain, Samuel Clemens, was born.

00:22:31.980 One of my favorite quotes from him, simply this, never let your schooling interfere with your education.

00:22:40.360 That's what we do here every day on Human Events Daily.

00:22:43.620 Information, not indoctrination.

00:22:46.240 Go read Mark Twain, because you know they're going to cancel him.

00:22:49.220 Ladies and gentlemen, you have my permission to lay ashore.
