00:00:57.580 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by
00:01:02.060 Turning Point USA.
00:01:03.060 Today's top stories.
00:01:04.740 A victim is taking the stand in the Ghislaine Maxwell case.
00:01:09.160 Next, the Dobbs case has opened.
00:01:11.960 The Mississippi abortion ban is being presented to the Supreme Court.
00:01:16.280 Will it be upheld or will it be struck down?
00:01:18.560 And what does this mean for Roe v. Wade?
00:01:20.580 And then finally, my interview, me, Charlie Kirk, and Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:01:25.660 We've got a bunch of excerpts from this thing.
00:01:27.640 We haven't actually done an interview here on Human Events Daily yet.
00:01:30.320 So I want to let you know all of the highlights from our sit down with Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:01:35.000 All this is more ahead, Human Events Daily.
00:01:36.360 In New York City, a real human drama just played out in the courtroom in the Ghislaine Maxwell case.
00:01:55.320 What happened?
00:01:56.660 A victim testified anonymously in this case.
00:02:00.900 Now, she's anonymous to us, but in that courtroom, she was there, she went up, she took the stand in front of the judge, in front of Ghislaine Maxwell, in front of the jury, in front of the media.
00:02:15.180 Now, the media's not releasing her name, but this is someone who was abused, who was exploited at a very young age, 14 years old.
00:02:27.360 She's now coming full circle, and she's taking her power back.
00:02:33.520 This actually is a situation where you've got someone who was exploited, and there's more coming, by the way, there's more coming, but exploited by some of the most wealthy and powerful people, not just in this country, but in the world.
00:02:47.460 And she's coming forward, and that's courageous.
00:02:50.920 And you have to applaud someone like that.
00:02:53.700 You just have to sit back for a minute.
00:02:55.580 And I know there's a lot going on in the Ghislaine Maxwell case, and we talk about the Epstein Network, and that is our focus on this.
00:03:02.540 I've told you before, I believe Ghislaine Maxwell will be convicted.
00:03:06.220 I think it's an open-shut case.
00:03:08.160 But it's only an open-shut case because of the power of the testimony of the actual victims coming forward.
00:03:16.320 And they have gone through absolute hell in their lives to get them to this point, and you have to applaud them, you have to praise them, and you have to say thank God that not only did they survive it, but they now have the courage to come forward and do what they're doing.
00:03:32.960 Listen to Lisa Bloom, who's representing some of the victims.
00:03:36.160 But I do look forward to seeing the prosecution continue to put on their case.
00:03:41.940 I thought yesterday was a very strong day for the prosecution.
00:03:45.160 You know, as an attorney for sexual abuse survivors myself, I think that the prosecution very clearly and concisely laid out their case, that there are four victims here, that Ghislaine Maxwell knew everything that Jeffrey Epstein was doing, that she trafficked these women, that she was a part of all of it.
00:04:00.740 On the defense side, I thought it was a weak opening statement.
00:04:03.960 I give them about a C. It was a good start, saying that since the time of Eve, women have been blamed for men's bad acts.
00:04:10.860 I like that.
00:04:11.620 And by the way, we have a case, first one I've seen, with a female judge, two female lead attorneys, female defendant, and four female victims.
00:04:19.440 That was a good start for the defense, but it was all downhill after that.
00:04:22.520 And to call Jeffrey Epstein the 21st century James Bond, to go on about how he was so intelligent and charming, really to write this love letter to Jeffrey Epstein, I thought was a very bad move for the defense.
00:04:35.900 I'm especially hoping to hear from the victims today.
00:04:38.580 Because we do have to remember, folks, that at the end of the day, yes, this is about Epstein.
00:04:44.920 This is about the network.
00:04:46.480 This is about Ghislaine Maxwell.
00:04:48.500 But you can't forget the victims here.
00:04:51.460 You can't forget the people who were abused at a young age.
00:04:55.600 Remember, they were recruited, groomed, selected.
00:04:59.120 And who did they prey upon?
00:05:00.560 Because that's what these people were.
00:05:01.760 They were predators.
00:05:02.980 They preyed on girls from broken homes, ones who were from low-income backgrounds, people who are, you would say, at risk, right?
00:05:14.560 These are the type of young girls that they would recruit into this.
00:05:18.200 And they would throw money at them, whirlwind trips around the world, flights down to the Caribbean, of course.
00:05:25.060 And then the exploitation began.
00:05:29.580 And it began very quickly.
00:05:31.480 And some of the stuff that came out in court yesterday, and it's continuing to come out, it's extremely graphic.
00:05:37.640 If you want to go read the court transcripts, they're out there.
00:05:40.860 And there's great reporting in the Miami Herald about this.
00:05:44.740 Julie Kay Brown is doing some excellent reporting on this.
00:05:47.860 But for at least this show, I'll just say the stuff that was going on here, the depravity, the degeneracy that we were seeing among some of the wealthiest and most powerful and influential people here cannot be overlooked.
00:06:03.260 And the fact that these people were victims of this crooked and corrupt network cannot be overlooked.
00:06:11.700 So we're going to say, and we only know her as, there's Jane 1, Jane 2, Jane 3, Jane 4.
00:06:17.360 We are praying for all four of them.
00:06:19.720 And I would ask everybody out there to please say a prayer for these victims, the victims of the Epstein Network, the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, the victims of Ghislaine Maxwell.
00:06:29.040 And remember that if anyone else is ever caught exploiting young women, young girls, young children like this, you need to go after them and you need to go after them hard.
00:06:42.720 That's one thing in this country.
00:06:44.420 We do not take child sex abuse laws seriously enough.
00:06:48.860 And in every single state, those laws should be strengthened.
00:06:52.760 So incidents like this can never happen again.
00:06:59.040 Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter, just stepped down.
00:07:03.460 The new CEO who's coming in, pro-censorship, anti-First Amendment, does not support freedom of speech.
00:07:10.260 What does that mean?
00:07:11.360 It's time to get on the lifeboats, everyone.
00:07:13.980 It's time to sign up for Getter.
00:07:16.120 Getter is the Twitter killer.
00:07:18.920 Go over there, sign up.
00:07:20.160 I've been on there for months now.
00:07:21.900 I love it.
00:07:22.620 I love the engagement.
00:07:23.940 It is the signal, not the noise.
00:07:25.700 Go to Getter.
00:07:26.360 Sign up today.
00:07:27.000 You will enjoy it.
00:07:28.400 Get off of Twitter.
00:07:29.720 It's time to head to the lifeboats.
00:07:32.640 But talking about life and the right to life, today in the Supreme Court, the opening arguments were held in what's being referred to as the Dobbs case.
00:07:42.020 What is the Dobbs case?
00:07:43.420 The Dobbs case is all about a Mississippi law regarding a 15-week abortion ban.
00:07:49.860 And the state of Mississippi is challenging this all the way up to the Supreme Court.
00:07:53.620 And if this is upheld, it may either chip away or completely overturn the Roe v. Wade decision.
00:08:01.100 Listen to this video explainer from Live Action, my good friends and our good friends over at Live Action all about it.
00:08:05.920 The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization addressing the constitutionality of a Mississippi state law prohibiting abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy.
00:08:17.180 We have a human being 15 weeks old, and people believe that you ought to be able to destroy that life.
00:08:23.440 We don't.
00:08:24.260 So I'm very encouraged about where we're at.
00:08:26.320 I hope at some point Mississippi is free of abortion.
00:08:29.160 In the case, Mississippi is defending its law against a challenge by the state's only licensed abortion facility, Jackson Women's Health Organization.
00:08:38.720 Many are calling this the most significant abortion-related case before the Supreme Court in nearly three decades.
00:08:44.580 That's because Mississippi is asking the Supreme Court to overrule Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that required abortion to be legal in all 50 states, as well as Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the 1992 decision that continued Roe v. Wade's abortion guarantee.
00:09:03.980 On March 19, 2018, the Mississippi State Legislature passed House Bill 1510, a.k.a. the Gestational Age Act, prohibiting abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy.
00:09:17.300 This is a human fetus at 15 weeks.
00:09:20.540 They are roughly four inches long, they have all of their limbs and organs, and can yawn, scratch their head, and suck their thumb.
00:09:27.340 So here's the write-up in the Daily Mail.
00:09:29.400 And one thing that Clarence Thomas did, and you can tell, he has been waiting 30 years for this moment.
00:09:59.860 Clarence Thomas, I do believe, was put on this earth for this purpose.
00:10:06.300 Overturning Roe v. Wade, overturning this decision, it's been 48 years, it's not even that old.
00:10:12.060 But restoring the right to life to unborn, innocent children.
00:10:17.120 And so one thing that Clarence Thomas repeatedly asked over and over and over, where is this found in the Constitution?
00:10:25.040 All of the things you're saying, show me the text.
00:10:28.180 Show me any text that's even remotely connected to any of these things you're talking about.
00:10:32.860 Because he knows, and they know, he's reeling them in.
00:10:36.460 He's setting the trap.
00:10:38.460 Because there is no text.
00:10:39.940 Because there is no basis for abortion in the United States Constitution.
00:10:44.360 Now, Donald Trump-appointed Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett also signaled that they would be open to overhauling existing precedent.
00:10:54.040 Kavanaugh indicated that he thought the Supreme Court should return to a more neutral view on abortion rights,
00:10:59.540 while Barrett questioned the need for abortion rights if women could give children up for adoption on birth.
00:11:05.120 Upon birth, another conservative justice, Samuel Leto, declared the fetus has an interest in having a life.
00:11:12.520 And that's really what it's all about, folks.
00:11:14.360 That's really what it's all about.
00:11:17.420 When abortion activists say, my body, my choice,
00:11:21.240 well, number one, you never hear them say that when it comes to vaccine mandates.
00:11:24.820 But number two, they never take into account the fact that that child is a separate life.
00:11:33.800 That is a separate person.
00:11:36.080 Even if they're small.
00:11:37.580 Even if they're a little bit smaller than everybody else.
00:11:39.960 That doesn't make them any less of a person.
00:11:42.680 And, by the way, the science, right?
00:11:46.700 Trust the science on this.
00:11:49.240 Separate DNA means you have a separate human being.
00:11:53.400 Because people will come and say, oh, this is, it's all just religion and morality,
00:11:58.160 and you guys are like the Taliban because you want this,
00:12:01.300 and you want a crazy, you know, Sharia law kind of interpretation.
00:12:06.740 I say, okay, okay.
00:12:08.760 I'll meet you on this.
00:12:10.060 I'll meet you on this.
00:12:11.260 Because even though as Christians, it's very clear,
00:12:15.080 you cannot be Christian and be pro-abortion.
00:12:18.260 It's very clear in the Bible.
00:12:19.440 But, I'll meet you on further.
00:12:21.720 To the secularists, the atheists out there, the humanists, right?
00:12:27.220 DNA.
00:12:28.620 Separate, individual, unique DNA means a separate, individual, and unique human being.
00:12:36.240 Period.
00:12:36.900 It's as simple as that.
00:12:38.640 My body, my choice?
00:12:39.780 Absolutely.
00:12:40.660 But what about their body, their choice?
00:12:43.620 That's the error in your thinking.
00:12:45.560 And so, talk to Will Chamberlain, the publisher of Human Events, just before this,
00:12:50.320 who is a Georgetown lawyer.
00:12:51.740 He said, I think Roe v. Wade is done after this case.
00:12:57.120 We'll see.
00:12:58.140 We'll see.
00:13:02.960 Christmas is coming.
00:13:04.280 It's coming so fast.
00:13:05.440 Go to MyPillow.com.
00:13:06.720 Use promo code POSO.
00:13:08.140 Get your orders in today.
00:13:10.220 I got my order in over the weekend.
00:13:12.260 It was fantastic.
00:13:13.420 It was very convenient.
00:13:14.880 It's all on its way.
00:13:16.640 But, speaking of Mike Lindell, somebody that Mike Lindell stood up for when nobody else would,
00:13:21.980 when the world had turned their back, was Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:13:24.680 I recently had the opportunity, flew out to Phoenix, Arizona.
00:13:29.060 We were with the Turning Point headquarters, myself, Charlie Kirk.
00:13:33.300 We had the opportunity to sit down and interview Kyle, talk to him all about the ordeal that
00:13:38.460 he's going through, the injustices that he's faced, talked about Lunchbox, talked about
00:13:42.880 Binger.
00:13:43.960 And the one thing that I wanted to ask him, we're going to play part of that interview
00:13:47.600 now, I wanted to say, who is Kyle Rittenhouse the person, right?
00:13:53.060 Take all the facts and evidence and et cetera, the video, out of it.
00:13:57.420 Who are you?
00:13:59.100 Why did you do what you do?
00:14:00.400 And what does Kenosha mean to Kyle Rittenhouse?
00:14:03.640 So, they made this whole, you know, big, like, deal during the trial in Binger.
00:14:09.280 And I call him Lunchbox, his sidekick there, because he brought him along like a boxed lunch.
00:14:14.600 They said, oh, well, you're not even from Kenosha, you know, you don't even live in
00:14:19.340 Kenosha, you cross state lines, all this business.
00:14:23.060 But it seemed to me when I was, you know, hearing you speak about it, and then when
00:14:27.420 you took a stand, you talked more about it, that it seemed like Kenosha did mean something
00:14:30.780 to you.
00:14:31.340 It did.
00:14:31.860 You had a lot of connections.
00:14:32.780 So, what does Kenosha mean to you?
00:14:36.000 Well, Kenosha, my best friend Dominic lives there.
00:14:39.020 My dad lives there.
00:14:40.700 My entire family pretty much lives there.
00:14:43.840 I go grocery shopping in Kenosha.
00:14:46.080 And, of course, they have the best cheese curds in the world, as we all know.
00:14:49.140 Kenosha can confirm.
00:14:50.940 Yeah, I've been there a couple of times since all this.
00:14:52.840 I was there, I guess, two weeks after that happened.
00:14:56.000 So, I was there like mid-September of last year.
00:14:58.540 And then I've gone back a few times just to see it.
00:15:01.380 It's actually a really nice town.
00:15:02.740 Like, I really liked it.
00:15:04.380 I enjoyed it.
00:15:04.980 I went there with my brother.
00:15:05.960 We had a great time.
00:15:07.100 Oh, yeah.
00:15:07.440 It's down-to-earth people who is just people that are just like wanting to be.
00:15:15.480 It's the Midwest.
00:15:16.320 We call it Midwest Friendly.
00:15:17.560 We wave to people driving down the road.
00:15:19.560 Yeah, like we see you on screen.
00:15:21.140 But what's it like behind the scenes or all that?
00:15:24.160 Well, how it is behind the scenes, I have my amazing team, Mark, Corey, Natalie, Joellen, LT, Dave, helping me through this and guiding me.
00:15:36.280 Because, believe it or not, I'm freaking out behind the scenes.
00:15:38.860 Because you don't know what's going to happen.
00:15:40.660 And so, to have them to support me, helping me through this and explaining, helped me stay calm.
00:15:47.460 And what I'm thinking when I'm just a blank face, potted plant in court, I'm just saying in my head, is this guy serious?
00:15:58.180 Referring to Lunchbox and Banger, also known as Littlefinger.
00:16:02.340 I'm trying to be, you know, look, you know, I remember watching it that night.
00:16:06.680 And I remember seeing, and like, I didn't know the name of Kyle Rittenhouse or Gage or Rosenblatt or any, any, I had no idea who any of you were.
00:16:16.380 But I just knew that, you know, the guys that I would work with, like, like Richie McGinnis and Elijah Schaefer, Drew Hernandez, Julio Rosehouse, they were all there.
00:16:26.940 And then BG on the scene as well.
00:16:29.080 And I'm watching these videos come out and I'm looking at this situation going, hey, wait a minute, they're chasing this guy.
00:16:35.440 But the media is saying it the other way.
00:16:37.960 And that's not what happened.
00:16:39.620 And I can see these videos and you guys are lying about this.
00:16:43.240 And then so you would have to think that, OK, if I'm an adversarial prosecutor, I'm going to put, I'm going to bring witnesses forward that are going to, you know, help my theory of the case.
00:16:55.200 And to your point, in his opening statement, that's what he says.
00:16:58.920 He says they were chasing you or excuse me, that you were chasing them.
00:17:02.560 But then the very next thing he does is bring on a witness that supports your side of the case.
00:17:07.840 Exactly.
00:17:08.620 All their witnesses.
00:17:09.580 Well, yes, actually, that's and that that turned out to be a trend that we saw throughout the rest of the trial.
00:17:13.620 Every single one of them, they brought they were the ones who called Richie.
00:17:16.160 You guys didn't even have to call Richie.
00:17:19.220 During his opening, when he said that, I was one of the things I was thinking, I was like, geez, I didn't know that he watched the videos backwards.
00:17:26.680 There's there was a there was a meme of that where it was it was a binger and he goes, well, all you have to do is play the video in reverse and you can clearly see Kyle chasing them.
00:17:41.040 Thank you so much to the people who do support me and have donated.
00:17:45.300 It means a lot to me and my family helping us pay for these legal bills.
00:17:49.520 It just means so much to me and we couldn't have done it without them.
00:17:56.680 So it really was great getting to meet Kyle, getting spent time with him, spent time with his dogs.
00:18:03.900 I don't know if you can see them on the set a little bit.
00:18:05.820 They were with us.
00:18:06.760 But one thing I also wanted to ask him about was, number one, did he know, was he aware, right, of all the people, the millions of people that had his back and that were supporting him?
00:18:18.080 And then I wanted to ask him something else.
00:18:20.260 And that was the role of God.
00:18:22.500 Did he turn to God in those dark moments, in those low moments, in that ordeal that none of us have ever faced before in that situation when it seems like the whole world is against you?
00:18:36.080 So I did ask him about that.
00:18:37.640 And I think you're going to find it very interesting what his answer was.
00:18:41.260 This is me, Charlie Kirk, Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:18:43.200 You know, one thing with that, with these videos and just, you know, being able to support Free Kyle USA and all the other stuff, did you have a sense, you know, both during the trial and beforehand that, yes, obviously there was an entire mainstream media and political, really, establishment that was hell-bent on making you the scapegoat for everything that happened in Kenosha and really a lot of 2020.
00:19:04.260 But did you also realize that there were millions of people that had your back, that were supporting you, going through these videos, donating?
00:19:14.320 And thank you so much to the people who do support me and have donated.
00:19:18.840 It means a lot to me and my family helping us pay for these legal bills.
00:19:22.680 It just means so much to me and we couldn't have done it without them.
00:19:28.860 And it's just amazing.
00:19:31.600 And with the whole people who didn't support me, I didn't know, I actually didn't know how much support I really had until I got bailed out.
00:19:41.260 I didn't know how much of the world supported the right to self-defense.
00:19:45.500 Well, there'll be more details that come out eventually, but you were very close to such bad intervention from forces that it would have been tough to recover from, just with the kind of group of people you were kind of chatting about.
00:20:02.620 And I think we have to just put this out, like, he's not sponsored by Under Armour, he's never talked to them.
00:20:07.260 Oh, right.
00:20:08.260 Right.
00:20:08.980 Right.
00:20:09.860 Yeah, Under Armour's going to release their big statement.
00:20:11.200 It's amazing you actually have to do that.
00:20:13.140 I'm happy to give you tons of Turning Point swag if you want.
00:20:15.400 If I can ask a quick question, this is something that my wife had asked me to ask, but how's your family doing with all this?
00:20:22.900 We're hanging in there.
00:20:25.000 Huge weight off of our shoulder.
00:20:27.060 You had a good Thanksgiving?
00:20:28.220 Of course.
00:20:28.440 We had a great Thanksgiving.
00:20:29.680 Awesome.
00:20:29.880 We had some turkey.
00:20:31.300 My favorite is green bean casserole.
00:20:34.680 But Kyle, at a young age, you were called into something that is unprecedented.
00:20:40.760 And you're a smart kid.
00:20:43.820 You got a lot ahead of you.
00:20:45.780 Thank you very much, Charlie.
00:20:47.100 And so FreeKyleUSA.org, is that right?
00:20:49.920 FreeKyleUSA.org, yes, sir.
00:20:51.360 Any closing thoughts, Jack?
00:20:54.280 Look, Dave, one of the times that you called me, I remember I said this, and I've said it to a lot of people that I'm Catholic.
00:21:02.580 That's the way I look at it.
00:21:03.400 I think God had his hand on you that night.
00:21:08.020 I really do.
00:21:08.860 And I think you put a lot of people in that situation, and they might not have made it out of there without that kind of support.
00:21:18.060 And so whether you're out there and you're someone who believes in something as literal as a guardian angel or just having that intervention come in, whatever the mechanism is, that's the one thing I always see when I watch those videos.
00:21:31.700 And then when I saw what happened in that court.
00:21:34.240 So not only was he there in the street, he was there in that courthouse, and he was there in that jury room.
00:21:40.420 Someone was definitely watching over me that night.
00:21:42.740 Thank you so much for watching us on Human Events Daily.
00:21:46.440 Thank you so much for also supporting us and listening to our coverage of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.
00:21:51.600 And now we have the Kyle Rittenhouse interview.
00:21:53.660 If you'd like to support our work, you want to support what this podcast is doing, support the Be Good, Be Brief, Be Gone movement.
00:22:00.220 Go leave us a five-star review.
00:22:03.380 It actually helps us out a lot.
00:22:04.800 It takes two seconds.
00:22:05.840 You can write something.
00:22:06.640 You don't have to write something if you don't want to.
00:22:08.200 Whatever.
00:22:08.980 Leave us that review.
00:22:09.940 It really does help our metrics, and it's something that we can show going forward that Human Events Daily is a show, a short show, that everybody wants.
00:22:18.960 There is a huge market for, and we're going to continue growing and expanding as that comes in.
00:22:24.020 So help us help you, all right?
00:22:27.140 That being said, before I go, it's time for today's moment of history.
00:22:30.580 Today, 1955, Rosa Parks started the bus boycott.
00:22:35.760 Conservatives, you need to learn something.
00:22:37.520 A boycott is not cancel culture, and boycotts work.
00:22:41.920 Ladies and gentlemen, you have my permission to lay ashore.
