00:00:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition, Human Events Daily.
00:00:03.880 First up today, the NIH has admitted, as we all knew, that they did actually fund gain-of-function testing in Wuhan.
00:00:11.400 Next, Anthony Fauci, Dr. Fauci's money.
00:00:14.940 Where does it come from?
00:00:15.920 We're going to break down a new report on it.
00:00:18.180 Third, the president of the FOP is warning against vaccine mandates across the country.
00:00:24.000 And then finally, Biden's approval ratings in absolute freefall.
00:00:27.940 We're going to break that down, all of this and more ahead, Human Events Daily.
00:00:42.240 So everybody remembers, a few months ago, it was over the summer, when Dr. Fauci and Senator Rand Paul really got into it over this issue of whether or not the National Institute of Health
00:00:55.360 and his specific agency, his department under the NIH, funded gain-of-function in Wuhan, right?
00:01:01.700 And they got into this huge debate over it.
00:01:04.120 Fauci was screaming at him, et cetera, et cetera.
00:01:06.600 Here's the clip.
00:01:07.680 Here's a reminder of it.
00:01:08.740 Now you're getting into something.
00:01:10.120 If the point that you are making is that the grant that was funded as a sub-award from EcoHealth to Wuhan created SARS-CoV-2,
00:01:21.620 that's where you are getting.
00:01:23.740 Let me finish.
00:01:24.740 We don't know.
00:01:25.500 We don't know if it did come to the lab, but all the evidence is pointing that it came from the lab.
00:01:29.820 And there will be responsibility for those who funded the lab, including yourself.
00:01:34.100 I totally resent.
00:01:35.260 This committee will allow the witness to respond.
00:01:37.360 I totally resent the lie that you are now propagating, Senator, because if you look at the viruses that were used in the experiments that were given in the annual reports that were published in the literature, it is molecularly impossible.
00:01:57.660 No one's saying those viruses caused it.
00:02:00.040 It is molecularly.
00:02:00.820 No one is alleging that those viruses caused the pandemic.
00:02:03.060 What we're alleging is that gain-of-function research was going on in that lab, and NIH funded it.
00:02:08.520 That is not.
00:02:09.080 You can't get away from it.
00:02:10.100 It meets your definition, and you are obfuscating the truth.
00:02:13.360 I'm not obfuscating the truth.
00:02:15.000 You are the one.
00:02:15.520 Senator, post-mime is expired, but I will allow the witness to.
00:02:17.980 Let me just finish.
00:02:18.760 I want everyone to understand that if you look at those viruses, and that's judged by qualified virologists and evolutionary biologists, those viruses are molecularly impossible to result in SARS-CoV-2.
00:02:34.700 No one's saying those viruses caused the pandemic.
00:02:35.500 Senator Paul.
00:02:36.160 We're saying they are gain-of-function viruses because they were animal viruses that became more transmissible and human, and you funded it.
00:02:43.320 And you.
00:02:43.820 You won't admit the truth.
00:02:44.760 Senator Paul, your time has expired, and I will allow witnesses who come before this committee to respond.
00:02:51.120 And you are implying that what we did was responsible for the deaths of individual.
00:02:58.100 I totally resent that.
00:02:59.520 And it could have been.
00:02:59.860 And if anybody is lying here, Senator, it is you.
00:03:03.620 But in a new letter that just came out October 20, 2021, it's a response to James Comer, and it is from Lawrence.
00:03:14.760 Lawrence Tabak, the principal deputy director of the NIH.
00:03:18.400 Now, it's important to state at the outset that public genomic data demonstrate that the bat coronavirus is studied under the NIH, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:03:29.900 Hold on.
00:03:31.100 Hold on.
00:03:31.820 Here it comes.
00:03:32.460 And the money they funded to EcoHealth Alliance went towards research that did end up funding a study that produced gain-of-function pathogens, full stop.
00:03:48.640 Then, what do they do?
00:03:50.300 Of course, they put the blame on EcoHealth.
00:03:53.440 This was always the point of using a cutout organization like EcoHealth Alliance.
00:03:58.400 This was always the point of having Peter Daszak up there.
00:04:01.700 He was the scapegoat.
00:04:03.200 So now what are they saying?
00:04:04.080 Listen to this.
00:04:05.180 This is typical bureaucracy, by the way.
00:04:07.420 This is typical bureaucracy, right?
00:04:09.580 You caught us.
00:04:11.120 You caught us in a lie.
00:04:12.820 Rand Paul was completely right, 100% right.
00:04:15.260 This program was right.
00:04:16.540 I was right.
00:04:17.260 You were right.
00:04:19.300 EcoHealth failed to report this finding right away, as was required by the terms of the grant.
00:04:23.680 EcoHealth is being notified that they have five days from today to submit to NIH any and all unpublished data from the experiments.
00:04:30.820 And work conducted under this award.
00:04:32.400 Additional compliance efforts continue.
00:04:34.180 Rah, rah, rah.
00:04:34.820 We're very upset that they would do this.
00:04:37.680 You got caught.
00:04:38.960 You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar.
00:04:41.840 Maybe you got caught with your hand in the wet market, right?
00:04:44.660 We understand what happened.
00:04:47.600 Quit the blame game.
00:04:49.140 Admit what you did.
00:04:50.980 Admit you were at fault.
00:04:52.620 Admit you made a violation.
00:04:54.740 And by the way, by the way, Dr. Anthony Fauci kind of feels like misrepresented what happened while under oath inside the United States Senate.
00:05:11.820 Almost feels like, what's that word?
00:05:14.320 What's that word?
00:05:15.160 What's that word again?
00:05:15.980 It's kind of a legal phrase.
00:05:17.000 Oh, right.
00:05:17.460 Perjury.
00:05:19.400 Senator Rand Paul should refer Dr. Anthony Fauci to the Department of Justice under this, right?
00:05:24.840 We already see that the Jan 6th Committee and the Rules Committee are going to refer Steve Bannon for not even testifying to the Unconstitutional Committee.
00:05:32.460 So might as well refer Dr. Fauci as well, right?
00:05:35.280 Go ahead.
00:05:35.880 Just keep referring people.
00:05:36.860 Dr. Fauci actually knowingly lied about a material matter to a United States Senator under oath.
00:05:45.660 And it was in a situation where money from the taxpayer was going to fund experiments in Wuhan in a CCP-controlled, military-linked bio-laboratory.
00:05:58.080 Dr. Anthony Fauci.
00:06:04.560 Aren't we so proud of the good doctor?
00:06:06.840 Don't we just, you know, hold him up?
00:06:08.960 You've got people across the United States.
00:06:10.960 Some people even worship this guy, right?
00:06:13.900 It is getting a little weird.
00:06:15.760 You know, you see these kind of pillows they do, the songs, the dress-up.
00:06:20.180 They've got pillows for Anthony Fauci. 0.96
00:06:22.460 It's ridiculous.
00:06:23.660 But if you go to MyPillow.com and utilize promo code POSSO for up to 66% off, no, seriously, you can get some great gifts for your kids, gifts for your family.
00:06:33.400 Get your order in at MyPillow right now.
00:06:35.720 Beat the supply chains.
00:06:36.880 Beat China. 0.92
00:06:37.400 Support American workers.
00:06:38.820 And, you know, we don't need Dr. Fauci pillows.
00:06:41.800 The great thing about MyPillow, you go in, you get the, they have the smaller pillows.
00:06:45.300 They're the travel and go pillows, and they've got what they have on them, Bible stories, stories of the nativities, the story of Christmas, Noah's Ark, right?
00:06:55.980 Daniel and the Lion's Den.
00:06:57.220 It's incredible stories that you can get, that you can share with your kids, pass on the traditions.
00:07:02.880 That's what we have for my son.
00:07:04.380 Takes his daycare with him.
00:07:05.640 He loves it.
00:07:06.680 He absolutely loves it.
00:07:08.180 But Dr. Fauci, I don't want you on my pillows.
00:07:10.580 No, no, no.
00:07:11.080 And speaking of Christmas, by the way, Dr. Fauci has some thoughts about Christmas that he shared with Senator Marsha Blackburn.
00:07:19.920 Take a listen.
00:07:20.540 And, Dr. Fauci, lastly, we know the best way to keep safe is to be vaccinated.
00:07:25.780 But what are your guidelines for the upcoming holidays?
00:07:28.880 Will you be giving out Halloween candy?
00:07:30.880 What do we do Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the other holidays?
00:07:33.940 Well, Martha, I believe strongly that, particularly in the vaccinated people, if you're vaccinated and your family members are vaccinated, those who are eligible, and that is obviously very young children and not yet eligible, that you can enjoy the holidays.
00:07:50.040 You can enjoy Halloween, trick-or-treating, and certainly Thanksgiving with your family and Christmas with your families.
00:07:56.920 That's one of the reasons why we emphasize why it's so important to get vaccinated, not only for your own safety, for that of your family, but also for the good of the community to keep the level of infection down.
00:08:09.800 When you do that, there's no reason at all why you can't enjoy the holidays in a family way, the way we've traditionally done it all along.
00:08:17.720 And for his wonderful work, his loyalty, and his service to the American people, I'd just like to know, and let all of you know, that according to a new report from Open the Books, I love these guys, Open the Books, I love the work they do because they actually dig, they put in the Freedom of Information Act requests, they get all of the stuff, they get the best stuff.
00:08:38.440 Open the Books.
00:08:39.040 Dr. Anthony Fauci received a big pay increase to prevent pandemics, thanks to biodefense.
00:08:48.140 Dr. Anthony Fauci, this is according to their report that was published in Forbes, is the top paid federal employee, earning $434,312 in 2020.
00:09:00.880 Fauci is the director of the National Institute of Health, National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases,
00:09:05.960 and the current chief medical advisor to the president, Fauci out-earned the president, who only orders $400,000, four-star generals like the illustrious General Milley, $282,000, and roughly 4.3 million other federal employees.
00:09:20.600 By the way, why do we have 4.3 million federal employees?
00:09:23.880 Do we need 4.3 million federal employees?
00:09:26.860 Can we, like, take that number and just cut it in half?
00:09:31.040 Because I kind of feel like, you know, 2.15 million federal employees, if, you know, you can do the job of 4 million.
00:09:39.200 Trust me, you can do it.
00:09:40.480 I've been in the government.
00:09:41.480 It could happen.
00:09:43.760 According to new documents released via FOIA, NIH says that Dr. Fauci received a big pay hike for his biodefense research activities.
00:09:54.160 In other words, Fauci was paid to prevent future pandemics.
00:09:58.980 From 2004 to 2007, Fauci received a 68% pay increase from $200,000 to $335,000 a year.
00:10:08.400 This award was permanent, a permanent pay increase.
00:10:11.920 Nice work if you can get it, folks.
00:10:13.560 Nice work if you can get it.
00:10:15.260 And it carried forward all the way through 2020 because, of course, we haven't had any pandemics since 2004 until now.
00:10:22.820 Now, included in this was a letter from Dr. Raynard Kingston, then the deputy director, which was approved and signed by the NIH director under Bush.
00:10:32.920 This is to request that the current retention allowance for Dr. Anthony Fauci be converted to permanent pay, an adjustment in the amount over his base pay, so bonuses, basically, in order to appropriately compensate him for the level of responsibility in his current position of director of the NIAID at the NIH, especially as it relates to his work on biodefense research activities.
00:10:56.920 Dr. Fauci's, Dr. Fauci's work on biodefense, to prevent pandemics.
00:11:01.800 And we just learned, we just learned in the last segment that the NIH admitted that their funding, which came directly through NIAID to EcoHealth Alliance, to the Wuhan lab, contributed to gain-of-function research.
00:11:17.440 This is your United States government, ladies and gentlemen.
00:11:21.400 I want you to embrace it.
00:11:22.780 I want you to just reach out with both arms and give it a big old hug.
00:11:26.420 Just give it a big old hug.
00:11:28.320 This is what your taxpayer dollars are going towards. 0.83
00:11:30.840 To Fauci, to this nonsense. 0.88
00:11:34.000 It's complete nonsense.
00:11:35.400 And on top of that, another 4.3 million federal employees.
00:11:39.660 I kind of feel like, I kind of feel like you could get 43 guys off of, like, Twitter, and they could probably do a better job than the 4.3 million on all of this stuff.
00:11:50.460 They would say, don't give money to Wuhan.
00:11:52.880 Wow, what a concept.
00:11:54.500 What an absolute concept.
00:12:00.280 And we're back now.
00:12:01.320 I told you that we were going to be doing some of these coming forward.
00:12:04.460 Tonight is the next fight night, or as we call it at Turning Point Live, debate night.
00:12:10.040 Tonight, we've got Charlie Kirk going up against socialist professor Ben Burgess, who will tap out first.
00:12:17.840 Know who I've got my money on, folks.
00:12:19.180 I know who I got my money on.
00:12:20.580 I'm just kidding.
00:12:21.380 I'm just kidding.
00:12:22.160 Don't gamble.
00:12:22.940 Definitely don't gamble.
00:12:24.760 No, but seriously, it's going to be a good debate tonight.
00:12:27.880 Definitely go check that out during fight night.
00:12:30.480 It's debate night.
00:12:31.240 It's here on Turning Point Live.
00:12:32.480 And we're going to continue to host these, bring in somebody from the left, bring in someone from the right, a liberal, a conservative, sit down, and not just debate, but actually have conversations about these issues.
00:12:41.540 That's one of the things that we've really lost in our society.
00:12:44.280 You know, we used to have programs where people did this, and then Jon Stewart came in and blew the whole thing up, and I'm really, really not a fan of Jon Stewart.
00:12:50.820 And I think he's responsible for a lot of the division that we see in the country today.
00:12:54.760 But it's another story.
00:12:56.120 We'll talk about that later.
00:12:56.760 Going forward, the National Fraternal Order of Police, the FOP president, has come out to discuss the problems with enforcing and cracking down on these vaccine mandates for police officers in the major cities, the major metropolitan areas of the United States.
00:13:14.780 Listen to what he had to say.
00:13:15.600 What is it in the police work or in the officers across the country that there is this hesitancy to get vaccinated, despite they're on the front lines of this pandemic and despite the toll that it's taken on law enforcement?
00:13:29.720 Well, Terry, first, I'm going to make it very clear that there's no question that science shows that this is definitely a serious issue that needs to be addressed.
00:13:42.180 And we recognize that.
00:13:43.740 We encourage all of our members to be vaccinated.
00:13:46.000 At the same time, we also recognize that we are a microcosm of society.
00:13:50.900 There are people in this country that have a closely held belief that vaccinations are a personal choice, and we respect that.
00:13:57.620 But we, at the same time, encourage our members to consult with the medical personnel and make an informed decision in order to protect them and their families.
00:14:07.760 This is definitely a crisis that we need to address.
00:14:10.500 I suggest that a lot of the problems that we see in this country where we're struggling with all of these mandates really was the wrong approach.
00:14:18.320 The proper approach would have been incentivized to try and build some support around vaccinations as opposed to trying to force people to do it.
00:14:25.720 Now, just simply look at it in terms of what it costs and the investments of a trained officer.
00:14:31.000 What we're doing now is we're putting ourselves in a position where we're talking about taking trained personnel that cities have invested across this country in order to be able to get them to the point where there are effective officers
00:14:41.920 in telling them that although you operated for a year without a vaccination and we appreciate it, now if you don't have one, we're going to cast you aside.
00:14:50.200 So maybe the approach here is a little wrong, a little different.
00:14:53.480 It could have been much more efficient if we would have built some consensus around vaccinations rather than trying to force it on people who are already skeptical of it.
00:15:03.900 And it really is as simple as that.
00:15:05.960 He pointed out, he said, these guys were serving for a year without a vaccine.
00:15:11.900 Many of them probably at this point have attained natural immunity like so many other people have because they've caught COVID.
00:15:17.500 They've been on the job.
00:15:18.640 They got it.
00:15:19.440 They did the two weeks.
00:15:20.240 They came back.
00:15:21.480 And yet you're cracking down on this mandate saying you have to do this.
00:15:24.780 And, you know, one of the weird things about this mandate, too, and I hear people saying this as a kind of response, but total canard.
00:15:32.780 They'll say, well, we've got other mandates.
00:15:34.760 We've got other, you know, mandatory things, other vaccine.
00:15:36.960 Really?
00:15:37.940 What other vaccination mandate did you require or have you been required to have before going on an airplane, last time you bought an airplane ticket or any other time in your life?
00:15:48.020 Or when you wanted to go see a movie or when you wanted to go into a restaurant, what vaccine card did you have to show? 0.87
00:15:53.460 It's ridiculous. 0.79
00:15:54.080 They haven't done anything like this before, right? 0.93
00:15:57.060 I can talk and I've said before about being in the military and I've told the stories about that.
00:16:01.760 Sure.
00:16:02.100 Okay.
00:16:02.740 A hundred percent.
00:16:03.560 But when it comes to everyone like this and when it comes to our police officers, right, you'd really think in the polling is coming out right now from Rasmussen saying the public really isn't on board with this.
00:16:13.900 You know, one, when we've got people being raped in the city of Philadelphia on trains, on public transportation, and the police aren't able to do anything about it because it's stretched too thin and crime is completely out of control.
00:16:26.480 You've got these ridiculous Soros funded DAs that are just letting, they're just letting all this happen and letting these people out.
00:16:33.740 You've got a serious problem and the only people that would potentially stand in its way, you're going to go after them. 0.58
00:16:40.880 Get out of cities.
00:16:42.000 Folks, just get out of cities.
00:16:44.140 I really don't know how to put it any more simply than that.
00:16:47.600 Just don't be there.
00:16:48.640 Next five years, maybe the next 10 years.
00:16:50.600 This is not a good situation.
00:16:52.560 The homicide rates are only going to go up.
00:16:54.980 You need to get out.
00:16:55.880 You need to be safe.
00:16:56.620 Your families need to be safe.
00:17:01.860 Well, Joe Biden's latest approval numbers are in and they are sinking faster than the Titanic.
00:17:07.320 And this, by the way, is out of Grinnell University.
00:17:09.140 So go and take a listen to the pollster who was in charge of this talking about this guy sinking like a rock.
00:17:16.420 And Seltzer, you asked about President Biden.
00:17:19.220 We see in what you found, he's facing some of his lowest approval ratings yet.
00:17:25.220 He's 37% approval, 50% disapproving.
00:17:31.080 Which voters, what issues do you see behind this?
00:17:35.520 Right.
00:17:37.080 Well, in terms of issues, we asked for approval ratings and how he's doing with immigration, where he scored very poorly, just 27% approving.
00:17:47.280 We also took a look at how he's doing with COVID.
00:17:50.720 And sadly, this is, you might say, is the high watermark for him.
00:17:54.620 He still doesn't get 50% approval on how he's doing with COVID.
00:17:59.760 And that's his benchmark issue.
00:18:01.820 He also only gets 36% approval with the economy.
00:18:06.100 And as the economy goes, so goes the president's standing.
00:18:10.580 So it's no surprise that that number at 36 is almost exactly what his overall numbers are for approval.
00:18:17.780 Two groups I would call out.
00:18:19.800 One is that he gets more disapproval by a lot with independence than approval.
00:18:27.580 So it's almost a two-to-one ratio, twice as many disapproving as approving.
00:18:32.400 And independence were crucial to his electoral success.
00:18:36.080 He is also underwater, not by as much, but with women. 1.00
00:18:40.500 And women throughout the campaign were of his strongest supporters.
00:18:45.860 He does better with suburban women, but not exactly a lot to be proud of. 0.95
00:18:50.900 It's 46% to 38% more approving than disapproving, but he's not even halfway with suburban women.
00:18:58.220 Now, you heard that, particularly Joe Biden's polling numbers under independence are the ones that have tanked.
00:19:04.880 Now, remember, independence were the ones that really swung for President Biden under the 2020 election,
00:19:11.560 because this was seen on the COVID issue as something where they trusted him and they thought that he was going to be doing better.
00:19:17.560 Now, it's a two-to-one ratio, disapproval to approval.
00:19:22.400 So he's not only lost independence, they are leaving in droves.
00:19:26.440 They are running from him like the absolute plague, or perhaps like COVID-19.
00:19:31.980 And so now many people are asking,
00:19:33.280 but Poso, you said that there was this huge shade war in the White House.
00:19:37.140 So does that mean that Kamala Harris is not going to be embracing Joe Biden as much anymore?
00:19:41.840 Well, take a look at this very authentic and very credible video.
00:19:47.560 Oh, I'm going to hang this up with great pride.
00:20:11.520 Thank you, Mr. President.
00:20:13.060 You're welcome.
00:20:14.200 I'm asking you to be sure.
00:20:15.620 Thank you.
00:20:16.300 Thank you.
00:20:18.360 So as you can see, of course, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, they're just the best of friends.
00:20:23.800 It's kind of funny.
00:20:24.860 So Biden pulled this like fake relationship,
00:20:28.180 this fake friendship that he had with Obama for all the eight years that he was in the White House.
00:20:32.400 But the problem is that it's just not working.
00:20:36.940 So President Biden, Vice President Harris, there's no chemistry there.
00:20:41.180 Neither of them can even fake their way through this.
00:20:43.540 It's like watching The Office without the laugh track, right?
00:20:46.940 This is so cringe that it's crange.
00:20:49.620 It's actually so cringe that it's crange.
00:20:52.420 I cranged when watching this.
00:20:55.020 Joe Biden, not doing well there, Mr. President.
00:20:58.920 Not doing very well at all.

00:21:26.100 It's a lot of work, but we want to be here for you, crunching all this information.
00:21:29.620 But before we go, before we go, it's time for today's moment of history.
00:21:33.720 This one, of course, U.S. Navy history, always very special to me.
00:21:37.560 Today, the USS Constitution, the old Ironsides, the oldest frigate, commissioned warship still afloat,
00:21:47.920 was launched up in Boston, Massachusetts, old Ironsides, the USS Constitution, the symbol of the United States Navy.
00:21:54.060 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay short.
00:21:59.620 Thank you.
