00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.

00:00:39.560 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.

00:00:46.240 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.

00:00:49.840 If American democracy can survive 10 years of Greta Thunberg scolding,

00:00:55.420 you guys can survive a few months of Elon Musk.

00:00:57.820 And of all the pressings, challenges that the nations represented here face,

00:01:02.680 I believe there is nothing more urgent than mass migration.

00:01:08.100 The threat that I worry the most about vis-a-vis Europe is not Russia, it's not China, 0.93

00:01:13.800 it's not any other external actor.

00:01:16.540 And what I worry about is the threat from within.

00:01:19.540 The retreat of Europe from some of its most fundamental values, values shared with the United States of America.

00:01:27.600 Tom, you got AOC out there doing a webinar to help illegals avoid, I guess, apprehension.

00:01:35.100 And I sent an email today to the Deputy Attorney General.

00:01:38.220 At what level is that impediment?

00:01:39.640 Is that impediment?

00:01:40.760 I'm not an attorney.

00:01:41.840 I'm not a prosecutor.

00:01:42.500 Is that impediment?

00:01:43.660 Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts?

00:01:45.720 So what are we going to do about it?

00:01:47.600 Is she crossing the line?

00:01:49.060 So maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now.

00:01:50.960 Well, I feel sorry for Mitch.

00:01:52.540 He's not equipped mentally.

00:01:53.860 He wasn't equipped 10 years ago mentally, in my opinion. 0.79

00:01:57.340 He'd let the Republican Party go to hell.

00:01:59.280 If I didn't come along, the Republican Party wouldn't even exist right now.

00:02:02.720 Those workers arrived today, Gavin Kleiger and others arrived today at the IRS.

00:02:06.440 Do you expect to close the IRS?

00:02:08.880 Or what are you expecting?

00:02:10.120 No, I don't expect it.

00:02:11.620 You're talking about the IRS.

00:02:12.240 But I think that the Internal Revenue Service will be looked at like everybody else.

00:02:18.000 Just about everybody is going to be looked at.

00:02:20.280 Vance is set to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Munich Security Conference.

00:02:25.780 We want the war to come to a close.

00:02:27.900 We want the killing to stop.

00:02:29.120 But we want to achieve a durable, lasting peace, not the kind of peace that's going to have Eastern Europe in conflict just a couple years down the road.

00:02:39.520 And welcome in to Human Events Daily.

00:02:41.780 I'm Michelle Bacchus filling in for the great Jack Posobiec, who is currently in Munich, Germany, right now.

00:02:48.300 Of course, he is over there where a lot of things are going on.

00:02:51.120 We're going to dive into it in just a moment.

00:02:53.180 But Jack's been circulating in the news, folks, over the past day.

00:02:56.560 And I'll tell you what, the Washington Post, nonetheless, a little late on this.

00:03:00.580 We've been saying it all week.

00:03:01.660 Your scoop is a bit late here.

00:03:03.980 Nonetheless, here's the headline.

00:03:05.960 Pete Hegseth team invites far-right activist Jack Posobiec on overseas trip.

00:03:12.280 The offer triggered alarm among Pentagon officials concerned about the military being dragged into partisan warfare.

00:03:18.480 Hmm, far-right activist.

00:03:20.380 You couldn't say veteran naval intelligence officer.

00:03:22.680 You couldn't say New York Times best-selling author, father.

00:03:25.720 You couldn't say husband.

00:03:28.200 It's really interesting because when does the Washington Post ever talk about a far-left activist?

00:03:32.920 I'm waiting on that one.

00:03:34.040 Let's bring in Kevin Posobiec as well.

00:03:36.280 Kevin, I don't know.

00:03:38.540 Jack being labeled as a far-right activist?

00:03:41.420 To me, I just think that they're getting desperate at this point.

00:03:44.320 A majority of Americans, quite frankly, and this is true through the mandate, don't care.

00:03:49.600 We don't care.

00:03:50.640 This is supposed to be fear-baiting.

00:03:52.540 This is supposed to be so viral.

00:03:54.520 Nobody cares.

00:03:55.640 The only people that care.

00:03:56.640 That's right.

00:03:56.960 We can talk about these Pentagon officials.

00:03:59.020 No, it's the deep state.

00:04:00.320 The deep state that has been corrupt and just riddled with fraud over the past four years.

00:04:05.060 That's who cares.

00:04:05.880 You know, Michelle, it's great to be back with you.

00:04:09.900 It makes me think of the Eagles parade today, actually.

00:04:13.820 Nobody likes us and we don't care.

00:04:16.020 You know, that was the Eagles phrase recently.

00:04:18.840 But everyone likes us, Kevin.

00:04:21.440 Let's just look at November.

00:04:23.320 Everyone likes us.

00:04:25.920 That's true.

00:04:26.520 That's right.

00:04:27.000 That's right.

00:04:27.460 And, yeah, we're right so far, I think is the term as well.

00:04:33.540 It's amazing to see you got Danny Lamb trying to blast Jack about it.

00:04:37.800 And I love what you said there.

00:04:39.300 It's only taken them all week to really catch up.

00:04:42.060 And you know why?

00:04:42.660 Because we're the media now.

00:04:44.600 Like, sorry, Mr. Danny Lamb.

00:04:46.560 Like, we have access and you don't.

00:04:49.360 He wasn't invited on the Trump envoy to Europe.

00:04:52.420 Sorry, you know, he probably couldn't pass the P.E. test, the P.T. test to get to get out there anyway.

00:05:01.880 It's it's amazing that they're just catching up now.

00:05:06.000 Yeah, what really cracks me up, Kevin, is they have it as breaking news.

00:05:09.860 We have this inside scoop.

00:05:11.700 This has been this has been a thing for days.

00:05:14.260 You're late to the game.

00:05:15.360 But that's exactly why, Kevin.

00:05:16.980 We are the media now.

00:05:18.780 This is a new generation.

00:05:20.080 And we are advocating free speech, not these closed off informational rooms that only some people have access to.

00:05:25.620 Don't go anywhere.

00:05:26.700 Stand in our way and our golden age has just begun.

00:05:30.280 This is Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:05:32.020 Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.

00:05:36.700 Welcome to the second American revolution.

00:05:43.840 And welcome back to Human Events Daily.

00:05:45.820 I'm Michelle Bacchus filling in for the great Jack Posobiec.

00:05:49.000 Guys, J.D. Vance is really ensuring that America is first yet again, showing peace through strength, showing power.

00:05:57.420 Something that's quite refreshing after the past four years.

00:05:59.600 He's over at the Munich Security Conference right now.

00:06:02.300 And it's funny to watch the headlines.

00:06:04.320 For instance, I'm looking at Yahoo News right now.

00:06:05.840 J.D. Vance escalates conflict with Europe in alarming speech at Munich.

00:06:11.060 This is what they're doing right now.

00:06:12.760 If you haven't noticed with the mainstream media, they're trying to paint these images as if Republicans are stirring the pot and we're going to cause these massive conflicts.

00:06:21.320 No, for the first time in four years, we are showing strength.

00:06:24.620 We're putting our foot down.

00:06:25.740 We're not letting everyone walk all over us anymore.

00:06:28.300 Those days are done.

00:06:29.500 And that's what the American people voted for.

00:06:31.440 Of course, let's continue this because the Washington Post, of course, is trying to come out with this breaking news.

00:06:37.760 That Hegseth team invites far-right activist Jack Posobiec on overseas trip.

00:06:43.740 Again, let's be clear.

00:06:45.040 We've been talking about this for days.

00:06:46.440 They are late to the game.

00:06:48.060 It's funny that they're trying to make nothing into something.

00:06:52.020 That's how desperate they are right now.

00:06:53.820 But here's the thing, Washington Post.

00:06:55.980 Where was your invite to Munich?

00:06:58.640 Where's your invite to be on the front lines, understanding exactly what's going on as history is in the making?

00:07:04.420 Oh, wait, you're not there because you keep peddling false narratives and propaganda.

00:07:10.740 You want to talk about far-right activists.

00:07:13.100 Where the heck are the far-left activists?

00:07:15.060 Why aren't you ever talking about them?

00:07:16.860 Because I could name quite a few right now.

00:07:18.860 But in the meantime, let's actually hear from someone who is in Munich right now and does have a front seat to history in the making and isn't trying to peddle some propaganda.

00:07:29.340 Jack Posobiec, who's over in Munich right now.

00:07:31.560 This is Jack Posobiec reporting live from Munich, Germany, the Munich Security Conference, where Vice President J.D. Vance just delivered a fire-burner speech dissenting against the EU leadership here on the European continent.

00:07:50.520 J.D. Vance came out swinging, saying that the main threat to Europe is not Russia, it is not China, but it was in fact the abandonment of traditional European values, and the main urgency was about mass migration.

00:08:05.860 The open borders spectacle that has led to multiple attacks on the European homeland, including an attack at the Munich Security Conference itself on the very day that it began, an Afghan migrant driving into a crowd of German citizens, killing at least one.

00:08:23.160 He directly, J.D. Vance, blamed these attacks and blamed this on the policies of mass migration pushed deliberately by the European leaders.

00:08:33.200 He also excoriated Europe for continuing to censor and even criminalize free speech and free expression, giving multiple examples of this, including the arrest and imprisonment of a man in the UK for praying outside of an abortion clinic.

00:08:50.420 J.D. Vance then held a bilateral summit with Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine.

00:08:56.140 All eyes were on this summit after Pete Hegseth's speech to NATO talking about future membership for Ukraine and, of course, from J.D. Vance's speech itself.

00:09:08.740 Scott Besson had traveled to Ukraine earlier this week, which we exclusively reported on at Human Events Daily, with the mineral treaty that President Trump and Zelensky had discussed.

00:09:20.040 That treaty was not signed at the meeting there in Kiev, President Zelensky told Besson at the meeting that he would review it within two days and then bring it back to the Munich Security Conference to potentially see if there would be a signing.

00:09:35.220 As of this report, it does not appear that Zelensky has signed the mineral deal that was discussed very publicly by President Trump and by J.D. Vance and presented to him by Scott Besson, the Secretary of the Treasury.

00:09:50.780 It remains to be seen what Zelensky is asking for.

00:09:54.300 In Kiev, we reported exclusively on the ground from Human Events that Zelensky was asking for a security agreement and potentially more material aid to the Ukrainian state in their fight against Russia to provide for the ability to wind things down as well as for a lasting peace.

00:10:11.040 The Washington Post is also reporting that multiple members of the U.S. Congressional delegation senators who are here in Munich presented Zelensky with essentially the same document asking him to sign regarding the minerals.

00:10:26.860 Zelensky, according to the Washington Post, politely declined.

00:10:30.320 All of this goes to show that the entire European delegation here to Europe has not ended with a direct deal between the U.S. and Zelensky.

00:10:41.460 Instead, President Trump's envoys, as we have discussed all week, Secretary Scott Besson, Secretary Pete Hegseth and Vice President Vance, as well as Secretary of State Marco Rubio,

00:10:53.560 who also participated in the meeting between Vance and Zelensky, have led to a sea change in opinion and a sea change in the directionality of the Ukraine-Russia conflict,

00:11:05.700 a way in which President Trump personally came in and stated that he is now conducting one-on-one negotiations with President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.

00:11:16.940 What this means is that NATO, of course, is very, very upset.

00:11:22.340 The leaders of the European nations are very upset.

00:11:25.720 One European leader of Defense Minister of Germany coming out in response to J.D. Vance's speech

00:11:32.020 and even said that its speech itself was completely inappropriate while J.D. Vance is still here in Germany.

00:11:39.060 This is a shock to the European allies, but it shouldn't come as a shock because President Trump and J.D. Vance stated unequivocally many times

00:11:48.060 that they viewed that Europe needs to shoulder their burden for this conflict.

00:11:53.320 And if they wanted it to continue, that it would be done on a shared price value,

00:11:58.080 that the United States would no longer be delivering the blank check for all European security, certainly not for the Ukraine war.

00:12:05.880 President Trump campaigned on peace and putting an end to the war is the first way to get there on the European continent.

00:12:13.420 J.D. Vance as well coming out and saying that he was not looking for a short peace,

00:12:18.480 but was in fact looking for a comprehensive peace deal to not only secure the end of the Ukraine war,

00:12:23.840 but also a lasting peace for the European continent.

00:12:28.400 President Trump's envoys have been here this entire week, as well as your humble host,

00:12:33.100 Jack Posobiec, for Human Events Daily, reporting live and on the scene.

00:12:39.540 That's the key word, on the scene, live there in Munich, where history is happening, where real news is happening.

00:12:46.300 Let's bring in Kevin Posobiec as well.

00:12:47.900 You know, Kevin, it's interesting that other nations want to come for J.D. Vance

00:12:52.900 as he talks about them needing to step up, because the U.S. paid 60% of NATO's defense bill.

00:12:59.920 Listen, we have been carrying the burden for way too long,

00:13:03.200 and I don't think they're used to somebody coming up and actually showing strength.

00:13:07.540 We're not allowing other nations to walk all over us anymore. 1.00

00:13:10.340 No, we sure aren't.

00:13:13.220 And it reminds me, in 2017, Trump went over to NATO the first time and said,

00:13:17.280 listen, we're not paying anymore.

00:13:18.500 You guys are going to pay up now.

00:13:21.100 And I believe it was 2% GDP spent on the defense,

00:13:26.140 and Pete Hegseth said that we're going to raise it to 5%.

00:13:29.080 And it turns out Poland actually is already doing that, which is amazing to see. 1.00

00:13:36.820 And yeah, I really like that J.D. Vance put out there that the main threat is against European values

00:13:44.380 and, you know, also the mass migration, but it's God, family, and country.

00:13:52.800 And where do we see that is historically from Europe, but also in America,

00:14:00.460 and these are things that we really hold in high regards.

00:14:05.020 So why is that such a problem to see in Europe?

00:14:08.100 Why do we have so many more of these crimes happening from Afghans, 1.00

00:14:15.720 Afghan immigrants coming, running over people outside of the conference? 0.86

00:14:19.820 What's going on here?

00:14:20.800 Yeah, it comes at such an opportune time, right?

00:14:26.080 Just, what, yesterday we see an Afghan migrant run into a crowd?

00:14:31.340 This is just one of many attacks that have happened by, quote-unquote,

00:14:34.680 asylum seekers over in Germany over the past 12 months.

00:14:37.920 I'm getting reports here that J.D. Vance had a great speech in Munich, by the way,

00:14:41.700 but I am seeing reports here that CNN and MSNBC pulled away about halfway in or so,

00:14:47.320 which is interesting to know.

00:14:49.160 And you know, Kevin, isn't that funny?

00:14:51.780 And I know we're going to dive into it more, but basically, from what we're seeing here,

00:14:56.120 not a lot has happened yet in terms of peace negotiations with J.D. Vance and Zelensky.

00:15:01.520 Again, we're keeping an eye out for that.

00:15:02.960 Don't go anywhere.

00:15:04.100 You're watching Human Events.

00:15:05.360 We have some really fiery content from that speech with J.D. Vance here in just a moment.

00:15:10.240 We're going to show you, and, of course, you're going to see the left's reaction to all of it.

00:15:13.980 Don't go anywhere.

00:15:14.600 You're watching Human Events daily.

00:15:16.080 I look to Sweden, where two weeks ago the government convicted a Christian activist

00:15:37.200 for participating in Koran burnings that resulted in his friend's murder.

00:15:43.740 And as the judge in his case chillingly noted, Sweden's laws to supposedly protect free expression

00:15:50.200 do not, in fact, grant, and I'm quoting,

00:15:53.820 a free pass to do or say anything without risking offending the group that holds that belief.

00:16:01.060 And that is Vice President J.D. Vance at the Munich Security Conference

00:16:05.280 with a blistering speech that the mainstream media is trying to twist already.

00:16:10.520 They're very on it today.

00:16:11.840 It must be a slow news day.

00:16:13.340 Now, really interesting, because he name-checked every single European country

00:16:17.880 that violated very blatant free speech rights.

00:16:22.380 He's calling out countries.

00:16:23.400 He's calling out specific incidents.

00:16:24.780 And we've seen this firsthand.

00:16:26.180 Look at what's happening over in Europe right now

00:16:28.020 when citizens are trying to speak out specifically on the massive amount of asylum seekers,

00:16:33.760 as we're still saying that, that are coming into the country.

00:16:36.980 And ultimately, a lot of them, let's look at what happened yesterday in Munich,

00:16:40.260 are causing issues.

00:16:41.960 They're terrorizing the citizens.

00:16:43.260 A lot of the citizens don't want this either.

00:16:45.460 Let's also bring in Kevin Posobiec for more on this.

00:16:47.920 Kevin, I'm reading some articles here.

00:16:50.320 For instance, here's one.

00:16:51.780 J.D. Vance escalates conflict with Europe, an alarming speech at Munich.

00:16:56.040 They're trying to do anything they can at this point to make it seem as if

00:16:59.940 the Republicans are going to cause conflict and they're off their rocker.

00:17:03.820 Let's remember what happened when Kamala Harris went to the Munich Security Conference

00:17:07.540 as opposed to J.D. Vance.

00:17:11.100 That's right, Michelle.

00:17:12.680 So I keep recalling that meme that's going around with Elon and Doge, really,

00:17:17.840 where it's like if you see if there's people exposing fraud

00:17:21.380 and then there's other people saying, hey, stop doing that,

00:17:24.800 that's usually the people that are guilty.

00:17:28.820 So it's like that analogy we said the other day.

00:17:34.780 If you're cheating on your girlfriend and your girlfriend has to go through your phone,

00:17:38.840 if you have nothing to hide, why aren't you going to give your phone over?

00:17:41.880 But if you have something to hide, you're not giving your phone over.

00:17:43.680 That's right, that's right.

00:17:46.260 And we're just putting our finger in the wound over here.

00:17:49.440 And it's been going on for about a decade, really, with the mass migration.

00:17:52.920 You have people like Tommy Robinson, Mike Cernovich, Jack Posovic.

00:17:58.440 They all went over and reported on these immigrants, 0.99

00:18:02.540 most notably like the Muslim rape gangs, everything happening with like Ubers 1.00

00:18:06.520 and just general violence against people that, you know, 0.99

00:18:14.660 you're claiming you're a refugee coming into somebody's country

00:18:18.760 and then berating and attacking people,

00:18:21.900 totally disrespecting where you're going to.

00:18:25.500 And this is why we need an end to the war. 0.92

00:18:28.120 If you don't have a war, you can't have refugees. 1.00

00:18:31.380 So that's what we're trying to do with Mexico. 0.74

00:18:34.740 from the United States perspective, but also ending these wars,

00:18:38.620 especially with Ukraine and Russia recently.

00:18:42.140 That's why we're over there for this peace deal.

00:18:44.180 And why doesn't Zelensky want to reach a peace deal?

00:18:48.380 He doesn't want a peace deal with Putin.

00:18:50.040 He doesn't want it with Trump.

00:18:51.120 But listen, I believe Jack reported on it recently, too,

00:18:54.300 that, hey, Vladdy, you know, for this Valentine's Day,

00:18:58.340 if you just want to give us some names and drop some secrets for us,

00:19:02.200 we'll gladly bring you to the United States,

00:19:04.120 put you in witness protection.

00:19:06.000 You know, you want these security guarantees.

00:19:08.180 Like, is that code for you want to make a deal with Trump

00:19:11.380 and, you know, just wash your hands?

00:19:13.560 Because we know all the billions of dollars that we sent over to you

00:19:16.760 aren't in your hands anymore.

00:19:18.600 It went all in the black market,

00:19:19.920 and you don't have any leverage in making this deal anymore.

00:19:23.580 So what do you want to do?

00:19:26.220 It's your move.

00:19:27.400 And I think having a real president in office now

00:19:32.320 definitely gives us the leverage to accomplish that.

00:19:37.700 What do you think, Michelle?

00:19:38.940 Well, and that's the golden question, Kevin.

00:19:41.440 He talks about these security guarantees.

00:19:43.420 What exactly is that?

00:19:44.500 What does that entail?

00:19:46.040 Is this on behalf of your people?

00:19:48.080 Is this on behalf of specific people?

00:19:49.800 Is this on behalf of you alone?

00:19:51.760 Because there's a lot of things that happened in Ukraine

00:19:53.800 over the past few years that we still aren't uncovering.

00:19:57.320 And as we know, the Biden administration, Joe Biden,

00:20:00.340 has got some extra bumps in pay

00:20:02.860 from the things going on over there.

00:20:04.480 And as we've reported multiple times,

00:20:05.880 I mean, the Mexican cartel literally has U.S. weapons

00:20:08.120 that were supposed to be sent to Ukraine.

00:20:10.120 Zelensky has admitted that he doesn't know

00:20:12.300 where some of that money went.

00:20:13.420 That was billions of dollars.

00:20:15.320 And not to mention countless lives

00:20:17.680 that were just wasted and died for nothing.

00:20:20.880 You know, it's interesting because really,

00:20:22.660 Zelensky's only bargaining power, Kevin,

00:20:25.060 was these rare earth materials.

00:20:27.400 But if he's not willing to come to the table on that,

00:20:29.940 really, what does he have left at this point?

00:20:32.820 He doesn't have anything.

00:20:34.060 He doesn't have anything.

00:20:35.000 We're going to go over there and strike a deal.

00:20:38.220 He thought it was going to be farmland,

00:20:39.980 but nope, we're going over.

00:20:41.160 We're going to get some lithium.

00:20:42.080 We're going to get some titanium.

00:20:43.820 And clearly the uranium,

00:20:45.700 which is what everybody's after.

00:20:47.780 And hey, this is going to be

00:20:49.100 more of just American dominance.

00:20:51.840 It's great to be winning again.

00:20:54.000 And it's just amazing that Zelensky

00:20:55.940 couldn't figure this out ahead of time.

00:20:58.660 But here we are.

00:20:59.620 Here we are.

00:21:00.280 We're going to take back America. 0.98

00:21:01.480 We're going to take back 0.95

00:21:02.340 all the taxpayer-funded things.

00:21:05.920 Jack and I went over there

00:21:06.820 when we gave them $40 billion,

00:21:08.640 saying, what's going on here?

00:21:10.240 And now we're in upwards of hundreds

00:21:11.860 of billions of dollars

00:21:12.900 that Ukraine has taken from us. 0.95

00:21:15.940 We are just Ukraine sugar, Daniel.

00:21:18.300 I'll tell you what,

00:21:18.800 we're finally putting our foot down.

00:21:20.440 We're realizing our worth.

00:21:21.720 That's a joke.

00:21:22.320 If anyone lives around the area,

00:21:23.980 they might be able to get that.

00:21:25.000 All right, you're watching Human Events.

00:21:26.120 We'll be right back with more.

00:21:27.120 Don't go anywhere.

00:21:27.560 And Jack, where is Jack?

00:21:30.720 Where is Jack?

00:21:33.020 Where is he?

00:21:34.300 Jack, I want to see you.

00:21:37.940 Great job, Jack.

00:21:39.380 Thank you.

00:21:40.140 What a job you do.

00:21:41.560 You know, we have an incredible thing.

00:21:42.940 We're always talking about

00:21:43.780 the fake news and the bad,

00:21:45.240 but we have guys,

00:21:46.640 and these are the guys

00:21:47.640 who'll be getting Pulisic.

00:21:48.720 Welcome back to Human Events Daily.

00:21:52.980 Guys, as Trump continues

00:21:54.480 to make massive waves

00:21:56.440 and put this country back on track,

00:21:58.520 you also have these federal judges,

00:22:00.240 activists is what I would like to call them,

00:22:01.900 that are continuing to try

00:22:03.020 and block the MAGA mandate.

00:22:05.700 Again, this is what

00:22:06.540 a majority of Americans here voted for.

00:22:08.800 This is what Americans wanted.

00:22:10.060 They voted for reform,

00:22:11.760 and they received it with President Trump.

00:22:13.340 They received it with his cabinet picks

00:22:14.960 and the moves that are being made right now,

00:22:16.940 and yet you still have the deep state.

00:22:18.200 You have these bureaucrats, 0.76

00:22:19.660 the Democrats,

00:22:20.640 everyone that is getting paid off

00:22:22.260 and has been infiltrated in D.C.

00:22:24.880 over the past four years,

00:22:27.060 freaking out.

00:22:28.300 In fact, we were just talking

00:22:29.180 about it yesterday.

00:22:30.080 Criminal defense lawyer searches

00:22:31.960 are up on Google now in Washington, D.C.

00:22:34.480 I wonder why that is.

00:22:36.520 It's interesting, though,

00:22:37.580 because you keep hearing from Democrats

00:22:39.320 the term constitutional crisis.

00:22:41.040 Remember when they were talking

00:22:41.720 about threat to democracy?

00:22:43.040 Well, that didn't work,

00:22:43.860 so now they're in constitutional crisis,

00:22:46.960 and we have our own little term

00:22:49.020 that Josh Hammer,

00:22:50.300 the host of The Josh Hammer Show

00:22:51.520 and America on Trial,

00:22:52.560 is now talking about

00:22:54.100 called judicial insurrection.

00:22:55.920 Let's bring him in right now

00:22:57.240 along with Kevin Pasovic

00:22:58.480 to explain exactly what's going on there.

00:23:01.180 Josh, thanks so much for being with us.

00:23:04.200 You talk about a term

00:23:05.420 called judicial insurrection.

00:23:07.640 Break that down.

00:23:08.220 Well, great to be with you guys.

00:23:11.220 So, I mean, I'm not sure

00:23:12.380 how else to describe

00:23:13.240 what we're seeing unfold

00:23:14.380 before our eyes here.

00:23:15.580 And, you know, first of all,

00:23:16.700 you're totally right

00:23:17.480 that the American people

00:23:18.820 gave a mandate to Donald Trump

00:23:20.800 and his movement there

00:23:21.720 and that these judges

00:23:22.420 are being obstinate

00:23:23.300 and they're trying to thwart it

00:23:25.240 by any means necessary.

00:23:26.080 But I think it's worth

00:23:26.720 just contextualizing

00:23:27.660 what we're seeing.

00:23:28.300 Let's flash back

00:23:29.260 to Donald Trump's first four years.

00:23:31.060 There were 64,

00:23:32.560 by my tally, instances

00:23:33.900 of so-called nationwide injunctions,

00:23:36.220 universal injunctions against Trump

00:23:38.040 the first time around.

00:23:39.400 That number 64

00:23:40.360 is actually more

00:23:41.620 than the first 44 presidents combined

00:23:44.080 actually dealt with there.

00:23:45.960 Which makes sense

00:23:46.760 because the entire idea

00:23:47.860 of a so-called nationwide injunction,

00:23:49.520 the entire idea

00:23:50.340 that a puny little single federal judge

00:23:53.160 deep in the bowels

00:23:54.020 of a forum shop,

00:23:55.060 deep blue jurisdiction,

00:23:56.200 whether it's in Hawaii

00:23:57.100 or Seattle, Washington

00:23:58.340 or Portland, Maine,

00:23:59.200 the notion that that single judge

00:24:01.280 can bring the entirety

00:24:02.340 of the government to a halt

00:24:03.560 is completely unconstitutional

00:24:05.680 and it is only

00:24:06.640 a modern fabrication.

00:24:08.100 It only came into being

00:24:09.220 in the late 1960s.

00:24:11.140 So really,

00:24:11.700 the ball has been

00:24:12.540 in the United States

00:24:13.300 Supreme Court's court,

00:24:14.940 no pun intended,

00:24:15.880 for years now

00:24:16.700 to once and for all

00:24:17.640 definitively rule

00:24:18.540 that these things

00:24:19.140 are actually unconstitutional.

00:24:20.820 But unless and until they do so,

00:24:22.560 the courts are going

00:24:23.200 to keep on acting up.

00:24:24.640 Fortunately,

00:24:25.120 there are also ways,

00:24:26.040 I think,

00:24:26.380 for the Congress

00:24:27.120 and for the executive branch,

00:24:28.620 for the Trump administration

00:24:29.340 to deal with these courts

00:24:30.540 in a way that would not

00:24:31.660 necessarily require SCOTUS review.

00:24:33.380 So SCOTUS should

00:24:34.200 for once and for all

00:24:35.680 deem that this judicial insurrection,

00:24:38.020 these nationwide injunctions

00:24:38.980 are lawless,

00:24:39.980 they run constitutional

00:24:40.760 and they will never be

00:24:41.680 the law of the land

00:24:42.380 any longer there.

00:24:43.480 But Congress is going to have

00:24:44.640 to start to get

00:24:45.140 its hands dirty here.

00:24:46.160 So Jim Jordan,

00:24:46.800 the House Judiciary Committee,

00:24:47.840 guys,

00:24:48.080 it's time to start filing

00:24:49.160 some articles of impeachment.

00:24:50.380 Elon Musk said that

00:24:51.220 earlier this week.

00:24:52.220 He is completely right there.

00:24:54.120 The actual legal language

00:24:55.540 in Article 3 of the Constitution

00:24:56.580 says that judges

00:24:57.500 shall sit, quote,

00:24:58.560 during good behavior.

00:24:59.740 We know from some

00:25:01.340 pretty good legal scholarship

00:25:02.820 and some historical research

00:25:03.900 that during good behavior

00:25:05.100 has the same meaning

00:25:06.120 as high crimes and misdemeanors

00:25:07.880 in Article 2 of the Constitution,

00:25:09.620 which Alexander Hamilton

00:25:10.540 defines in Federalist No. 65

00:25:12.260 as basically being

00:25:13.140 a breach of the public trust,

00:25:15.240 which basically means

00:25:16.020 that when you act

00:25:17.040 in a manner

00:25:17.520 where the public

00:25:18.460 has lost trust in you,

00:25:19.760 then you have committed

00:25:20.460 an impeachable offense.

00:25:21.820 How else to describe

00:25:22.720 what we're seeing

00:25:23.260 from people like

00:25:24.020 Judge McConnell

00:25:24.880 in Rhode Island

00:25:25.720 who threatened the Trump administration

00:25:26.920 with criminal contempt?

00:25:27.980 How else to describe

00:25:29.400 what we saw

00:25:29.840 from Judge Engelmeyer

00:25:31.000 in New York City

00:25:31.760 earlier this week

00:25:32.540 who threatened Elon Musk

00:25:33.680 and Doge very, very badly

00:25:35.760 unless they submit

00:25:36.700 all funding decisions

00:25:37.640 when it comes to

00:25:38.280 the Treasury Department

00:25:39.040 through his desk there.

00:25:40.000 So I want to start

00:25:40.700 to see articles of impeachment

00:25:41.760 as well there.

00:25:42.860 And last but not least,

00:25:43.920 when it comes to

00:25:44.640 the executive branch,

00:25:45.980 if Judge McConnell

00:25:46.680 actually tries to follow through

00:25:48.220 on this criminal contempt threat,

00:25:50.320 let's see how that plays out.

00:25:51.600 Okay, dude,

00:25:52.160 what are you going to do?

00:25:52.800 You're going to hold

00:25:53.300 a Trump administration person

00:25:54.900 in criminal contempt there?

00:25:56.220 Well, Trump can just issue

00:25:57.160 a pardon on the back end.

00:25:58.540 It's not going to end well for you.

00:25:59.760 So the judiciary,

00:26:01.040 we know,

00:26:01.640 is the least dangerous

00:26:02.500 of the weakest branch.

00:26:03.740 And I think,

00:26:04.500 as Anton Scalia once said,

00:26:05.560 that they are about

00:26:06.080 to be reminded, frankly,

00:26:07.220 of their own impotence.

00:26:13.440 Well, just to follow up there

00:26:14.840 on that, Josh,

00:26:15.760 talking about Judge McConnell here,

00:26:19.200 he insisted that it's okay

00:26:21.820 for judges to have

00:26:23.040 personal opinions

00:26:23.840 and allow that

00:26:24.660 to influence their decisions.

00:26:25.720 It's on camera.

00:26:26.380 Natalie Winters

00:26:27.000 actually uncovered that

00:26:27.720 just the other day.

00:26:28.800 He calls President Trump 0.88

00:26:29.940 a tyrant.

00:26:30.500 I mean,

00:26:30.760 how is this okay?

00:26:34.340 Yeah, I saw that clip

00:26:35.380 from Natalie.

00:26:35.900 That's a great poll

00:26:36.520 from her.

00:26:38.080 These judges are activists.

00:26:39.420 You're totally right to do it.

00:26:40.780 Look, look,

00:26:41.220 I clerked on the Fifth Circuit

00:26:42.420 Court of Appeals myself

00:26:43.500 seven, eight years ago now.

00:26:45.380 I mean,

00:26:45.880 I have seen,

00:26:47.000 I've met any number

00:26:47.800 of federal judges

00:26:48.380 over the course of my lifetime.

00:26:49.320 This notion that every person

00:26:50.680 who puts his hand

00:26:51.740 on the Bible

00:26:52.220 and takes the oath

00:26:53.040 is necessarily a fail,

00:26:55.560 neutral arbiter of the law.

00:26:57.800 Thank goodness

00:26:58.400 we're blessed

00:26:59.220 to have many such constitutionalists,

00:27:01.060 including my own foreign boss,

00:27:02.220 Judge Ho,

00:27:02.560 on the Fifth Circuit.

00:27:03.220 But there are many people

00:27:04.520 on the left

00:27:05.040 who are just literally

00:27:06.440 just political activists

00:27:07.740 in robes.

00:27:08.340 By the way,

00:27:09.080 going all the way up

00:27:09.960 to the United States Supreme Court,

00:27:11.560 Sonia Sotomayor,

00:27:12.840 that woman is a political activist. 1.00

00:27:14.320 I'm sorry.

00:27:14.940 But when she is issuing

00:27:16.220 decisions there,

00:27:17.360 I genuinely do not think

00:27:19.000 that Sonia Sotomayor

00:27:19.940 and Ketanji Brown and Jackson,

00:27:21.020 but especially really Sotomayor

00:27:22.180 are probably more

00:27:22.600 even so than Jackson

00:27:23.620 if we're splitting hairs there.

00:27:24.720 I do not think

00:27:25.500 that she is arriving

00:27:26.460 at a seriously considered

00:27:28.420 prudential judgment

00:27:29.840 as to what the law requires there.

00:27:31.520 These people are just issuing

00:27:32.540 political mandates there.

00:27:33.820 And we saw that in that clip

00:27:34.700 that you mentioned

00:27:35.240 that Natalie Winters

00:27:35.960 brought up about Judge McConnell

00:27:37.100 talking back in 2021

00:27:38.880 in the post-George Floyd era there

00:27:40.960 about how he grew up

00:27:42.420 as a privileged white man

00:27:43.760 and how it is incumbent upon him

00:27:45.300 to try to think about

00:27:47.000 how if there is a black 0.97

00:27:48.640 or a gay or a transgender

00:27:50.540 or alien, whatever,

00:27:52.160 defending before his court,

00:27:53.620 he has to think about

00:27:54.440 how the criminal law

00:27:55.160 should apply to him.

00:27:56.580 You know, what happened

00:27:57.220 to the good old notion

00:27:58.160 of equality under law?

00:27:59.820 The good old Declaration 0.87

00:28:00.680 of Independence,

00:28:01.500 the 14th Amendment

00:28:02.320 to the Constitution,

00:28:03.200 the Civil Rights Act there.

00:28:04.520 You know, once upon a time,

00:28:05.460 this country actually stood

00:28:06.460 for equality under law.

00:28:08.360 I'm heartened to see

00:28:09.480 that that was basically

00:28:10.700 what Trump went on

00:28:11.760 in contrast to their

00:28:12.740 dystopian vision there.

00:28:13.860 But these judges

00:28:14.460 have to be taught

00:28:15.440 a pretty severe lesson,

00:28:16.820 I fear.

00:28:21.920 Yeah, these judges 0.93

00:28:22.840 are evil, Josh. 0.96

00:28:24.280 I got to say,

00:28:25.760 it's amazing to see

00:28:27.400 such a pushback.

00:28:28.760 And like you said,

00:28:29.440 Sotomayor and

00:28:30.280 Ketanji Brown-Jackson,

00:28:31.600 who doesn't even know

00:28:32.500 what a woman is, 1.00

00:28:34.440 push back against

00:28:35.940 all these doge, 0.83

00:28:37.160 all these doge policies 0.92

00:28:38.880 being put in place.

00:28:39.800 And they're just

00:28:40.560 on their heels.

00:28:41.540 They're being put back

00:28:42.460 on their heels.

00:28:43.300 I saw just yesterday

00:28:44.320 at the Maryland State House,

00:28:47.620 you know,

00:28:48.280 just outside of D.C.,

00:28:49.420 there's a trans,

00:28:50.300 a trans protest

00:28:52.420 going against the laws

00:28:53.800 coming down there

00:28:54.620 saying that

00:28:55.840 they're going to be

00:28:57.200 stripping funding

00:28:57.800 for sex change surgeries.

00:28:58.980 And now even like

00:29:00.040 U.S. District Judge

00:29:01.140 Brendan Herson

00:29:02.000 got blocked,

00:29:03.340 you know,

00:29:03.960 by President Trump's

00:29:04.900 EO on this as well.

00:29:06.900 And also the

00:29:08.380 hormone drugs

00:29:09.400 for minors.

00:29:10.260 Like,

00:29:10.960 why are we seeing this?

00:29:12.900 Why are we seeing

00:29:13.440 such lawfare now?

00:29:16.220 Well,

00:29:16.760 their first form

00:29:17.840 of preferred lawfare

00:29:18.940 failed, right?

00:29:19.940 I mean,

00:29:20.120 their first form

00:29:20.820 of preferred lawfare

00:29:21.840 was the prosecutorial element.

00:29:23.880 I mean,

00:29:23.980 that was so-called

00:29:24.700 special counsel Jack Smith.

00:29:26.100 By the way,

00:29:26.380 I call him so-called

00:29:27.980 because he's actually

00:29:28.640 not a legitimate

00:29:29.180 special counsel

00:29:29.840 as Justice Clarence Thomas

00:29:31.300 and Judge Aileen Cannon

00:29:32.400 in Florida

00:29:32.760 both correctly ruled.

00:29:33.620 But we saw that lawfare

00:29:35.000 from Jack Smith.

00:29:36.320 We saw that lawfare

00:29:37.280 from Fonnie Willis

00:29:38.420 in Georgia.

00:29:39.320 That case technically

00:29:40.560 is not over yet,

00:29:41.620 actually,

00:29:42.020 which is kind of weird,

00:29:43.140 but I guess it'll come

00:29:43.820 to a formal end

00:29:44.640 one way or the other.

00:29:45.760 It'll peter out here

00:29:46.460 essentially of its own accord.

00:29:48.000 Alvin Bragg in New York City.

00:29:49.220 So that lawfare failed, right?

00:29:51.580 I mean,

00:29:51.920 the American people

00:29:52.380 voted for Donald Trump, 1.00

00:29:53.580 all these stupid 1.00

00:29:54.420 criminal indictments 1.00

00:29:55.360 notwithstanding there.

00:29:56.180 So now they're on

00:29:56.700 to their next stage

00:29:57.640 of lawfare,

00:29:58.480 which is the judicial insurrection.

00:30:00.360 But again,

00:30:00.720 to the weakest branch,

00:30:01.660 they have it coming

00:30:02.320 at this point, I think.

00:30:03.620 All right.

00:30:05.460 So, Josh,

00:30:06.200 Letitia James

00:30:07.020 isn't going anywhere,

00:30:08.240 unfortunately.

00:30:09.240 She had a press conference

00:30:09.960 earlier today

00:30:10.560 raging about

00:30:11.920 the Trump administration

00:30:13.080 after they halted payments

00:30:14.620 to New York City.

00:30:15.720 Let's remember,

00:30:16.640 by the way,

00:30:17.540 what was it,

00:30:18.280 $59 million

00:30:19.240 FEMA sent to New York

00:30:21.220 to house illegal immigrants 0.99

00:30:22.420 while our own people

00:30:23.680 were freezing in the cold

00:30:24.760 from Hurricane Helene.

00:30:26.200 This comes as well

00:30:27.300 as Pam Bondi,

00:30:28.640 new attorney general,

00:30:29.500 announced that the DOJ

00:30:30.440 has filed charges

00:30:31.160 against the state of New York.

00:30:32.460 Kathy Hochul,

00:30:33.580 Letitia James,

00:30:34.300 the DMV commissioner.

00:30:36.040 What do you think

00:30:36.820 is going to come of this?

00:30:38.300 And how do you think

00:30:38.940 this is going to play out?

00:30:39.860 Is Letitia James

00:30:40.900 just freaking out right now?

00:30:42.940 She's trying to do anything 0.83

00:30:43.740 she can to save herself?

00:30:46.420 Well, first of all,

00:30:47.480 these are righteous lawsuits

00:30:48.780 that Pam Bondi

00:30:50.020 is filing

00:30:50.480 against New York State,

00:30:51.760 against Kathy Hochul

00:30:52.620 and Tish James,

00:30:53.460 and out in Chicago

00:30:55.020 against the very socialist mayor

00:30:57.160 there, Mayor Johnson,

00:30:58.120 as well as the governor,

00:30:58.860 J.B. Pritzker.

00:30:59.460 I mean, you have to go after

00:31:01.180 these so-called

00:31:01.820 sanctuary jurisdictions.

00:31:03.180 And the somewhat provocative way

00:31:04.640 that I like to phrase

00:31:05.580 what these so-called

00:31:07.160 self-professed

00:31:07.880 sanctuary jurisdictions

00:31:08.920 is doing,

00:31:09.980 they're basically trying

00:31:10.800 to relitigate the civil war.

00:31:12.700 And let me explain

00:31:13.500 what I mean by that.

00:31:14.880 This country fought

00:31:15.600 a very bloody, tragic war.

00:31:18.220 Many, many, many people

00:31:19.540 on both sides

00:31:20.220 lost their lives

00:31:21.120 160 years ago

00:31:22.300 to once and for all

00:31:23.540 resolve the question

00:31:24.540 as to whether or not

00:31:25.500 the states

00:31:26.080 can nullify federal law.

00:31:27.940 That was the old theory, right?

00:31:29.140 I mean, that was

00:31:29.580 John C. Calhoun,

00:31:30.780 the slave-holding

00:31:31.720 South Carolinian

00:31:32.860 back in the 1830s, 1840s,

00:31:35.480 the idea of a nullification crisis

00:31:37.280 that the states

00:31:37.820 can just nullify federal law.

00:31:39.720 That was what the Democratic Party

00:31:41.200 stood for

00:31:41.940 before the civil war.

00:31:43.820 And now, apparently,

00:31:45.140 really just

00:31:46.360 neo-Confederate Democrats,

00:31:47.880 frankly,

00:31:48.360 in the year 2025

00:31:49.580 are basically trying

00:31:50.700 to resuscitate

00:31:51.500 the ghost

00:31:52.160 of John C. Calhoun.

00:31:53.320 They wouldn't call it that,

00:31:54.360 obviously.

00:31:54.760 They think that they're

00:31:55.240 taking the moral high ground,

00:31:56.260 but that's actually

00:31:57.340 exactly what they're doing here.

00:31:58.860 So what Pambani is doing

00:31:59.980 is basically just affirming

00:32:01.860 that, no,

00:32:03.120 federal law is supreme.

00:32:04.720 Under Article VI

00:32:05.600 of the Constitution,

00:32:06.340 the Supremacy Clause

00:32:07.100 very clearly says

00:32:07.960 that this Constitution

00:32:09.160 and all statutes

00:32:10.140 and treaties passed

00:32:11.060 pursuant to the Constitution,

00:32:12.460 that is a supreme law of the land.

00:32:14.600 The states cannot nullify

00:32:16.080 or cannot undermine

00:32:17.360 federal law.

00:32:18.640 So she's basically

00:32:19.160 just trying to uphold

00:32:20.180 federal law.

00:32:20.740 I would actually take it

00:32:21.660 one step even further

00:32:22.760 than this.

00:32:23.760 There's a 1987

00:32:24.660 Supreme Court case

00:32:25.620 called South Dakota

00:32:26.460 versus Dole,

00:32:28.520 which basically stands

00:32:29.400 for the proposition

00:32:30.040 that the Department of Justice

00:32:32.240 and Congress,

00:32:33.180 if they want to,

00:32:34.380 can attach federal funds

00:32:36.320 to states and localities

00:32:37.780 on the condition

00:32:38.920 that they do something

00:32:40.220 as long as that something

00:32:41.580 is related to the funding.

00:32:43.280 So in concrete terms,

00:32:44.220 what I mean by that,

00:32:45.560 the federal taxpayer

00:32:46.500 actually subsidizes

00:32:47.520 a lot of local police departments

00:32:49.340 across the country.

00:32:50.520 At this point,

00:32:51.120 the DOJ working hand-in-hand

00:32:52.620 with Majority Leader Thune,

00:32:54.060 Speaker Johnson,

00:32:54.680 and the Republicans

00:32:55.240 in Congress,

00:32:56.080 they should make sure

00:32:56.800 that not a penny

00:32:57.880 of U.S. taxpayer dollars

00:32:59.620 flows to any local

00:33:01.520 police department

00:33:02.260 in a so-called

00:33:03.260 sanctuary jurisdiction.

00:33:04.460 You should basically

00:33:05.040 require that as a condition

00:33:06.460 of receiving that aid

00:33:07.860 from the federal taxpayer

00:33:08.800 that these local jurisdictions

00:33:10.540 do not obstruct

00:33:11.860 federal law enforcement

00:33:12.820 when it comes

00:33:13.360 to the deportation operation,

00:33:14.900 when it comes to ICE,

00:33:15.740 DHS, and so forth there.

00:33:17.060 And ideally,

00:33:18.040 you would condition

00:33:18.540 that funding on them

00:33:19.320 not just obstructing them,

00:33:20.860 but actually actively

00:33:22.040 assisting them.

00:33:22.840 So, you know,

00:33:23.280 basically,

00:33:24.180 put the ball

00:33:24.980 in their court.

00:33:25.800 So, I love these lawsuits.

00:33:27.520 Pam Bonney's doing

00:33:28.140 the right thing,

00:33:28.680 and I hope that there's

00:33:29.200 frankly more to come.

00:33:32.620 I love hearing that.

00:33:34.460 That shows the connection

00:33:36.320 between ICE and DOJ.

00:33:38.680 It's incredible to see,

00:33:39.960 and we just had that report

00:33:40.880 from Tom Homan there, too,

00:33:43.100 seeing if AOC might be

00:33:45.840 in some deep water there

00:33:47.480 teaching people

00:33:49.040 how to resist ICE.

00:33:50.440 But that's amazing to see.

00:33:52.120 Yeah, hey, the left said,

00:33:53.340 you know, defund the police.

00:33:54.940 Like, my how the tables

00:33:56.580 have turned.

00:34:00.120 Put the ball in their court.

00:34:01.260 I love it.

00:34:01.780 It's time to go on offense, guys.

00:34:03.820 It's good stuff.

00:34:05.760 It's time to go on offense.

00:34:07.620 Josh Hammer

00:34:08.080 from the Josh Hammer Show,

00:34:09.220 thank you so much

00:34:09.960 for being with us

00:34:10.820 and providing that insight

00:34:12.380 as well.

00:34:13.000 Do not go anywhere.

00:34:14.160 You're watching

00:34:14.560 Human Events Daily.

00:34:15.660 I'm going to show back.

00:34:16.080 It's filling in

00:34:16.520 for the great Jack Posobiec,

00:34:17.780 who's over in Munich

00:34:18.580 right now causing an uproar

00:34:20.360 with mainstream media,

00:34:22.540 which is quite literally

00:34:23.520 outdated media at this point.

00:34:25.800 We're going to have more

00:34:26.380 right after the break.

00:34:27.320 Don't go anywhere.

00:34:32.640 I'm always listening

00:34:33.640 to Human Events

00:34:34.420 with Jack Posobiec.

00:34:36.460 All right.

00:34:37.060 Welcome back

00:34:37.460 to Human Events Daily.

00:34:38.480 I'm Michelle Backus

00:34:39.220 filling in for the great

00:34:40.020 Jack Posobiec.

00:34:40.880 Some breaking news

00:34:41.580 coming in right now

00:34:42.820 as two people were shot

00:34:43.940 at the Eagles'

00:34:45.260 Super Bowl parade.

00:34:46.100 Of course,

00:34:46.500 this is early reports

00:34:47.560 coming in,

00:34:48.400 allegedly over a dispute.

00:34:50.660 This comes as just last year

00:34:52.160 during the Kansas City parade

00:34:53.560 as well.

00:34:54.020 One person was shot

00:34:55.500 and we're going to continue

00:34:56.360 to pray for those victims

00:34:57.540 as we find out

00:34:58.320 more information there.

00:34:59.940 Happening as well,

00:35:00.820 only moments ago,

00:35:01.960 some other breaking news.

00:35:03.540 President Trump

00:35:04.160 signing an executive order

00:35:05.580 halting all federal funding

00:35:07.520 for schools

00:35:08.200 which mandate

00:35:09.040 the COVID vaccine.

00:35:10.920 Guys,

00:35:11.120 this is a long time coming.

00:35:12.620 This is something

00:35:13.000 that we've all been waiting for.

00:35:14.800 Many of us

00:35:15.480 have felt the effects

00:35:16.520 of this unconstitutional

00:35:18.120 COVID vaccine mandate.

00:35:20.240 Mind you,

00:35:20.560 we're going to take that

00:35:21.220 right now.

00:35:21.660 Take a look.

00:35:25.040 Okay.

00:35:25.440 that solves that problem.

00:35:43.160 Sir,

00:35:43.680 will the Department of Education

00:35:46.280 have to handle that?

00:35:47.840 Yes,

00:35:48.260 it'll go through

00:35:48.840 the Department of Education.

00:35:50.360 Okay?

00:35:51.660 Thanks.

00:35:52.040 Can I make one comment,

00:35:55.760 Mr. President?

00:35:56.080 Yes, please.

00:35:57.140 As a father of nine,

00:35:58.760 thank you.

00:35:59.620 We should have parental freedom

00:36:00.900 to decide what vaccines

00:36:02.160 our kids take

00:36:03.660 as opposed to school systems

00:36:05.440 and the governor's course

00:36:06.360 upon the people

00:36:08.540 that love these kids the most,

00:36:09.640 which is the parents.

00:36:10.220 So thank you for signing that.

00:36:11.120 Great.

00:36:11.500 Thank you very much.

00:36:12.520 People wanted that very badly.

00:36:14.540 Okay.

00:36:15.300 Okay,

00:36:15.860 and here is an executive order

00:36:17.600 we are establishing

00:36:18.340 the National Energy

00:36:20.240 Dominance Council.

00:36:21.320 So that will be chaired

00:36:23.160 by the Secretary of the Interior,

00:36:25.940 Mr. Burgum,

00:36:27.280 and the Vice Chair,

00:36:28.700 Chris Wright.

00:36:29.780 And so this will reduce costs

00:36:32.040 with respect to energy,

00:36:33.800 establish American independence

00:36:35.940 with energy,

00:36:37.360 and also unleash energy dominance.

00:36:39.700 Good.

00:36:40.020 Thank you.

00:36:40.540 And this is a big deal.

00:36:42.200 We have more energy

00:36:43.420 than any other country,

00:36:45.420 and now we're unleashing it,

00:36:47.040 to put it nicely.

00:36:48.520 And I'd like to ask,

00:36:50.000 Doug,

00:36:50.400 you're going to be heading it up.

00:36:51.840 You and Chris,

00:36:52.680 would you say a few words

00:36:53.640 about this?

00:36:54.360 Yeah, absolutely, sir.

00:36:55.780 Good afternoon.

00:36:57.280 President Trump wisely understood

00:36:58.960 that under the Biden administration

00:37:01.080 there was a war

00:37:02.880 against American energy,

00:37:04.200 and today that war

00:37:05.120 officially has ended.

00:37:06.700 President Trump,

00:37:07.360 on day one,

00:37:08.000 declared a national energy emergency,

00:37:10.380 and this is a real emergency

00:37:12.340 because under the Biden administration

00:37:14.000 restricted the production

00:37:16.000 of oil and gas.

00:37:17.380 Production's still coming,

00:37:18.420 but when you stop holding leases,

00:37:20.400 when you take 625 million acres

00:37:22.820 of land out of ocean,

00:37:25.060 land out of production possibilities

00:37:26.920 through an executive order,

00:37:27.960 you're really restricting

00:37:29.080 the balance sheet of America.

00:37:30.680 But today,

00:37:31.640 as President Trump said,

00:37:32.760 this is unleashed.

00:37:34.400 The National Energy Dominance Council

00:37:36.740 will be made up.

00:37:37.820 All the folks

00:37:38.340 that are standing beside me here,

00:37:40.180 other cabinet leaders,

00:37:41.300 and many more,

00:37:42.620 represent President Trump's wise decision

00:37:45.080 that we need a whole-of-government approach

00:37:47.060 to unwind.

00:37:48.400 The Biden administration

00:37:49.480 had a whole-of-government approach

00:37:50.840 that had the war against U.S. energy.

00:37:53.320 Now we need to turn that around

00:37:54.640 100 degrees

00:37:55.480 and unleash that potential.

00:37:57.020 We've got to unleash it

00:37:57.900 from the Gulf of America

00:37:59.800 all the way up to Alaska.

00:38:01.560 We have amazing resources

00:38:02.980 in this country,

00:38:04.000 and we haven't been getting

00:38:04.860 a return on them.

00:38:05.640 Many of these are under public lands.

00:38:08.420 The interior has 500 million acres

00:38:10.320 of surface,

00:38:11.000 700 million acres of subsurface minerals,

00:38:14.000 critical minerals,

00:38:15.020 and offshore,

00:38:16.160 close to 2 billion acres.

00:38:18.460 And that balance sheet

00:38:19.680 is the biggest balance sheet

00:38:21.880 in the world,

00:38:22.340 and it's been completely underutilized.

00:38:24.240 Everybody knows

00:38:24.860 we have $36 trillion in debt

00:38:27.020 as a country,

00:38:28.080 but no one knows

00:38:29.140 how many hundreds of trillions

00:38:30.960 of dollars of assets we have.

00:38:32.440 And President Trump

00:38:33.020 is asking us

00:38:33.840 to go get a return

00:38:35.180 on that investment

00:38:35.900 for the American people.

00:38:36.860 And with that,

00:38:37.780 we're going to have prosperity

00:38:38.620 at home with lower prices,

00:38:40.360 and we're also going to have

00:38:41.460 peace abroad

00:38:42.180 because the wars

00:38:43.440 that we've been engaged in

00:38:44.980 or our allies have been fighting

00:38:47.160 over the past few years

00:38:48.240 have been funded

00:38:48.920 by the oil sales

00:38:49.940 of our adversaries.

00:38:51.600 And so we have an opportunity,

00:38:53.000 and we also are in

00:38:53.740 an AI arms race with China.

00:38:55.380 The only way we win that

00:38:56.440 is with more electricity,

00:38:57.660 and we also have

00:38:58.740 an energy emergency

00:38:59.620 in terms of electricity.

00:39:01.560 Too much intermittent,

00:39:03.180 unreliable,

00:39:03.940 not enough baseload.

00:39:04.920 We've been shutting down

00:39:05.780 the baseload that we have.

00:39:07.160 President Trump

00:39:07.660 is going to reverse that,

00:39:08.840 and it's going to allow us

00:39:09.800 to win the AI arms race,

00:39:11.200 which is the most important thing

00:39:12.720 that we have to do

00:39:13.540 relative to our future.

00:39:16.060 So with that,

00:39:16.720 I want to say again

00:39:17.480 thank you to President Trump,

00:39:18.560 and I want to thank

00:39:19.140 my fellow members

00:39:20.400 of the Energy Council.

00:39:21.420 I'm going to kick it over

00:39:22.040 to the Vice Chair,

00:39:23.280 Chris Wright,

00:39:24.240 who's the Secretary

00:39:25.180 of the Department of Energy.

00:39:26.640 Thank you, Secretary Burgum.

00:39:28.000 Today is truly a great day

00:39:30.020 for our country today,

00:39:31.620 and Secretary Burgum

00:39:32.640 laid out so many

00:39:33.800 of the problems

00:39:35.020 the last four years.

00:39:36.420 If you put barriers

00:39:37.360 in front of energy,

00:39:38.320 you make it more expensive,

00:39:40.020 you make it less reliable,

00:39:41.540 you make it harder

00:39:42.100 to do business here,

00:39:43.360 and harder for our consumers

00:39:44.540 to pay their bills.

00:39:46.260 With this fantastic action

00:39:47.920 from our President,

00:39:49.160 we now have authority

00:39:50.520 across the government

00:39:51.600 to lean in

00:39:52.580 to fix these problems.

00:39:54.500 And I'll start out

00:39:55.220 with one specific right away.

00:39:56.720 This morning,

00:39:57.800 I signed our first

00:39:59.160 LNG export license,

00:40:01.720 unpausing the pause,

00:40:03.700 in action.

00:40:04.920 The Commonwealth LNG project

00:40:06.820 that will be on the Gulf Coast

00:40:08.060 in Louisiana

00:40:08.720 is now officially ready to go.

00:40:11.620 This will be a large

00:40:12.460 construction project

00:40:13.420 for American workers.

00:40:15.000 It will draw demand

00:40:15.860 for more American energy production

00:40:17.720 that will be shipped overseas

00:40:18.840 to our allies.

00:40:20.100 Many more of those to come.

00:40:22.260 We're also working aggressively

00:40:23.480 to roll back standards

00:40:25.000 that have made appliances

00:40:26.480 more expensive for Americans.

00:40:29.160 And dishwashers

00:40:30.380 that take two hours long

00:40:31.680 and don't get your dishes clean.

00:40:33.460 Nobody likes that.

00:40:35.360 That's about standing in the way.

00:40:37.540 And with this President,

00:40:39.080 President Trump,

00:40:39.920 and our new National Energy

00:40:41.040 Dominance Council,

00:40:41.960 there's so many things

00:40:43.100 we can do

00:40:43.880 to make American lives better,

00:40:46.000 bring down costs

00:40:46.840 and grow opportunities.

00:40:48.340 And with that,

00:40:49.120 I'm going to kick it over

00:40:49.860 to a fellow member

00:40:50.780 of the Council,

00:40:52.140 our Administrator of the EPA,

00:40:53.940 Lee Zeldin.

00:40:54.440 Thank you, Secretary,

00:40:56.040 and honored to be serving

00:40:57.240 on the Energy Dominance Council

00:40:59.240 at EPA.

00:41:00.160 We're doing our part

00:41:00.980 to power the great

00:41:01.800 American comeback.

00:41:03.320 And President Trump

00:41:04.180 has made it clear

00:41:04.960 that he wants EPA

00:41:06.020 to be doing our job

00:41:07.720 to ensure that we are

00:41:08.940 unleashing energy dominance,

00:41:10.540 however we can help,

00:41:12.040 that we are assisting

00:41:12.820 in making America

00:41:13.660 the AI capital of the world,

00:41:15.660 that we are pursuing

00:41:16.640 permitting reform,

00:41:18.000 that we are helping

00:41:18.680 to bring back

00:41:19.680 American auto jobs.

00:41:20.920 This is the mandate

00:41:22.380 of the American public,

00:41:24.440 that the Trump mandate

00:41:25.580 was clear,

00:41:27.120 and the guidance

00:41:27.960 from President Trump

00:41:28.940 to me when he asked me,

00:41:30.900 thankfully,

00:41:31.760 for the opportunity

00:41:32.900 for us to be able

00:41:34.360 to serve together

00:41:35.300 in partnership

00:41:35.820 to unleash energy dominance,

00:41:37.840 this is a moment

00:41:38.800 that we must meet.

00:41:40.540 To that end,

00:41:41.580 it is important to note

00:41:43.280 that the prior

00:41:44.900 Biden-Harris EPA

00:41:46.100 issued a waiver

00:41:47.980 to California

00:41:49.000 for tailpipe emissions.

00:41:50.940 This was a rule

00:41:51.780 that should have been

00:41:52.420 submitted to Congress.

00:41:53.700 We will submit it

00:41:54.600 to Congress.

00:41:55.580 Congress will have

00:41:56.200 the opportunity

00:41:56.820 through the Congressional Review Act

00:41:58.360 to make that waiver go away.

00:42:00.720 We will do everything

00:42:01.900 in our part

00:42:02.480 to help the American people

00:42:03.740 to make life in America

00:42:05.220 more affordable.

00:42:06.540 The golden age

00:42:07.360 of American success

00:42:08.260 is upon us.

00:42:09.200 If you're excited

00:42:09.840 about the last three weeks,

00:42:12.080 that was just a taste

00:42:14.380 of the main event,

00:42:16.920 the entree to come

00:42:18.020 the next four years

00:42:19.180 being the greatest term

00:42:20.300 in the history

00:42:21.100 of the American presidency.

00:42:22.840 With that,

00:42:23.500 I'd like to introduce

00:42:24.440 Sean Duffin.

00:42:25.340 Thank you.

00:42:25.760 So, first of all,

00:42:26.900 thank you for the work

00:42:28.920 on dishwashers.

00:42:30.540 We use more water

00:42:31.540 to wash our dishes

00:42:32.420 before we put them

00:42:33.220 in the dishwasher.

00:42:33.880 That's right.

00:42:34.420 We're not saving water,

00:42:35.520 we're using more water,

00:42:36.300 so thank you for that.

00:42:37.940 But I'm also joining the EPA.

00:42:40.320 We introduced our rules

00:42:42.320 to start to look at

00:42:43.500 the cafe stankers.

00:42:44.880 So we're looking at

00:42:46.000 how much it costs

00:42:47.180 for end users

00:42:48.020 when they put gas

00:42:49.920 in their car.

00:42:50.880 And the Biden era

00:42:51.920 standards are costing 0.97

00:42:56.400 billions of dollars

00:42:57.640 in taxes

00:42:59.000 and car credit credits

00:43:00.600 which drive up

00:43:01.380 the costs of vehicles.

00:43:02.640 And so we're going

00:43:03.840 to repute that,

00:43:06.080 rectify it,

00:43:07.100 and make sure

00:43:08.060 we're bringing up

00:43:08.460 the cost of the car.

00:43:09.320 Number one,

00:43:09.800 number two,

00:43:10.320 I'm going to

00:43:10.540 special,

00:43:10.880 Mr. President,

00:43:11.720 for your correction.

00:43:12.480 We are going to

00:43:13.500 move forward

00:43:14.700 with a committee process

00:43:16.060 for the Texas

00:43:17.020 Gulf Link Deep Water

00:43:18.920 Report,

00:43:19.740 making sure we can

00:43:20.980 move energy

00:43:22.180 in and out of the country.

00:43:23.460 So that was held up

00:43:24.600 for five years.

00:43:26.280 And it was stonewall, 0.99

00:43:28.160 we don't have just

00:43:28.620 gotten in the way.

00:43:29.600 We're now going to

00:43:30.040 move forward with that

00:43:30.860 and making sure

00:43:31.460 we have great oil

00:43:32.460 infrastructure.

00:43:33.460 Great, thanks.

00:43:34.400 Oh, our line.

00:43:36.480 Yes.

00:43:36.780 So, the nanny state,

00:43:40.520 you're feeling the end

00:43:42.160 of the nanny state

00:43:43.380 from straws made of paper

00:43:46.380 to regulation endlessly

00:43:48.660 harming Americans 0.99

00:43:50.520 and holding us back.

00:43:52.320 It slows down

00:43:53.320 our production

00:43:53.980 and manufacturing

00:43:54.760 which we were talking

00:43:55.640 about with the

00:43:56.300 Prime Minister of India

00:43:57.640 yesterday.

00:43:58.520 You're hearing that

00:43:59.180 about energy dominance.

00:44:00.680 It's going to go away.

00:44:02.200 We're going to care

00:44:03.320 about Americans.

00:44:05.160 The Trump administration

00:44:06.260 and this president

00:44:07.060 cares about Americans

00:44:09.300 and you're going

00:44:10.240 to feel a change.

00:44:11.860 You're going to feel

00:44:12.680 the price of energy

00:44:13.720 coming down.

00:44:14.320 You're going to feel

00:44:14.780 prices coming down.

00:44:16.240 You're going to feel

00:44:16.760 an explosion.

00:44:17.700 The golden age

00:44:18.520 of manufacturing

00:44:19.400 of America

00:44:20.400 has always been there.

00:44:21.480 It's just been stifled

00:44:22.620 by regulation

00:44:23.380 and that time is over.

00:44:27.100 Thank you very much.

00:44:29.080 Please.

00:44:30.000 Mr. President,

00:44:30.720 I just want to say

00:44:31.340 that you've built

00:44:31.820 such an incredible team

00:44:32.920 and Secretary

00:44:34.780 and Chairman Bergen

00:44:36.100 that he's been working

00:44:37.720 on this his whole life

00:44:38.740 and so what I expect

00:44:39.960 you to see, sir,

00:44:40.820 is action as early

00:44:42.200 as next week

00:44:43.000 that it's going to shock

00:44:44.100 people about how good

00:44:45.080 it is for Americans

00:44:45.920 and so thank you

00:44:46.600 for your leadership, sir.

00:44:47.840 Thank you very much,

00:44:48.900 Governor.

00:44:49.040 And we are also

00:44:50.240 working on a project

00:44:51.380 that has been

00:44:52.380 under wraps

00:44:54.020 for 20 years.

00:44:55.360 Everybody wanted it.

00:44:56.300 Thank you.

00:44:56.900 Thank you.

00:44:57.240 Thank you.

00:44:57.300 Thank you.

00:44:57.340 Thank you.

00:44:57.920 Thank you.

00:44:58.340 Thank you.

00:44:58.520 Thank you.

00:44:58.880 Thank you.

00:44:58.920 Thank you.

00:44:59.340 Thank you.

00:44:59.360 Thank you.

00:44:59.380 Thank you.

00:44:59.980 Thank you.
