00:00:00.000 All right. We got a packed show for you guys today. Huge news, turning point, potentially suing The View, ABC and Disney over defamation.

00:00:20.520 There's so much going on. You need to listen to this episode.

00:00:24.280 But first, I want to let you know that Charlie Kirk's new book is out, The College Scam, college scam dot com.

00:00:29.820 Go secure your copy of this today.

00:00:32.200 The College Scam, how America's universities are bankrupting and brainwashing away the future of America's youth and all proceeds from the book sales.

00:00:39.560 Go to Turning Point USA, college scam dot com.

00:00:43.800 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily powered by Turning Point USA.

00:00:48.160 Today is July 27th, 2022.

00:00:50.400 Today's top headlines, Turning Point USA issuing a cease and desist to ABC News and their parent company, Disney, over defamatory statements on The View.

00:01:01.860 Should they sue? We'll break it down next. 0.53

00:01:03.660 Foreign President Trump calling for sending the National Guard into the most violent criminal neighborhoods in America.

00:01:10.380 Third, the Biden regime's Department of Justice has now opened investigation into President Trump and his actions in January 6th.

00:01:18.640 And finally, the CCP trying to build a spy network inside the Federal Reserve and even threatened to kidnap a federal economist.

00:01:27.140 All this is more ahead, Human Events Daily.

00:01:38.960 Oh, OK, so you'd have to read this thing.

00:01:42.020 Oh, I've got a legal note.

00:01:43.940 The conservative group normally does this.

00:01:45.820 I know, I know, I know, this is our knockoff lawyer.

00:01:48.540 The conservative group Turning Point USA has condemned the group of neo-Nazis and said they have nothing to do with the organization.

00:01:56.720 But where was DeSantis is what I want to know.

00:01:59.140 But you let them in.

00:02:00.500 You let them in and you knew what they were.

00:02:03.260 So you are complicit.

00:02:05.200 Make a quick clarification about the neo-Nazis at the Turning Point event.

00:02:09.300 They were outside protesters.

00:02:12.020 My point was more metaphorical.

00:02:14.260 You embrace them at your thing, I felt.

00:02:17.360 So they were not in the building.

00:02:20.580 No, but you know what?

00:02:21.460 You know what?

00:02:22.080 If the so-called Antifa, who are anti-fascist, that's what Antifa stands for, would go there and protest, then Antifa would get a bad reputation.

00:02:31.860 That's why when I hear that Antifa is that sometimes.

00:02:34.220 Right, but that's not.

00:02:35.100 But let me just make sure that everybody, because, you know, misunderstanding what people say is very big.

00:02:40.820 Yeah, I know.

00:02:41.440 Yeah.

00:02:41.620 So we want to make sure you, I know they were not in the building, but they were in the mix of people at the thing.

00:02:50.660 So Whoopi Goldberg on The View, you just heard her there making that initial statement, talking about these agitators outside our event, the Student Action Summit down there in Tampa, Florida.

00:03:03.160 Then she comes back on, and you can tell somebody whispered in her ear during, you know, during the commercial break saying, well, actually, you know, they weren't technically inside, so you can't really say that on air.

00:03:15.500 Whoopi, that's a bit of a no-no, because you're just lying.

00:03:19.800 But then she comes out and says, metaphorically, metaphorically, that we welcome these people inside.

00:03:26.500 Here's the problem, Whoopi.

00:03:27.560 See, I've actually got footage of this, because, see, here's the problem for you, is that I was there, and I've got footage that proves demonstrably that those people were not welcomed inside.

00:03:41.160 These agitators were not brought in.

00:03:43.200 We can't tell who they are, because they were all masked.

00:03:45.000 But what I did see was that Turning Point attendees and students went up, confronted them, opposed them, and asked them to leave.

00:03:54.280 At one point, Turning Point Security even asked them to leave.

00:03:58.200 But because I've been around a minute, I know that what you've got to do is you can't just be there and see something.

00:04:05.360 You have to film something.

00:04:07.420 See something, film something.

00:04:09.280 And that, by the way, should be a lesson for all of you out there to understand that when you find yourselves in one of these situations, because when I was walking past, I was, you know, I'd just thrown my suit on.

00:04:21.800 And I was going to go get ready for this, had some TV hits I was doing, a whole bunch of media hits while on Meteor Road down there at the Student Action Summit, getting ready for President Trump to come in and speak.

00:04:32.020 But all of a sudden, I see this altercation going on right down, and there's sort of a bridge.

00:04:37.260 So you walk over the bridge, and then you see the entrance.

00:04:38.920 So I see this going on, and even knowing that I had a media schedule, I still had to go down and say, you know what, I need to get this on footage.

00:04:47.320 I have to document what's going on, because you know what, the work never stops around here.

00:04:51.960 Human Events is running 24-7.

00:04:55.080 So if we are not out there collecting information, we're doing show prep, we're doing research, we're talking to sources.

00:05:01.180 That's the name of the game in this business, baby.

00:05:03.180 So I see something, I film it, now, here's the problem for them.

00:05:07.700 Turning Point USA has just issued a scathing cease and desist letter to ABC News calling for the Disney-owned, oh no, that's right.

00:05:16.960 See, The View is on ABC, and ABC is owned by Disney, like half of all media right now, that she needs to completely retract her statements.

00:05:26.760 And this little, metaphorically, no, not good enough, Whoopi, not good enough.

00:05:31.860 Turning Point is saying that you will be sued.

00:05:34.760 The entire organization will be sued.

00:05:37.300 And lest I check, I'm pretty sure that Disney has some big pockets, but let's read from the letter.

00:05:42.680 The false statements of fact, intentionally made during The View's July 25th segment,

00:05:48.220 were unquestionably harmful to Turning Point USA's reputation,

00:05:51.680 and brought the organization and its student affiliates into disrepute with the public,

00:05:57.400 potential donors, and current and future business partners,

00:05:59.940 posing a significant financial loss to the organization.

00:06:04.220 See, here's the problem.

00:06:05.560 Here is the problem.

00:06:07.780 You've got minors, you've got students that are attending this thing,

00:06:11.600 students who, by the way, and again, because I got it on footage,

00:06:14.560 are actually out there confronting these agitators.

00:06:18.540 No, I don't know if these guys are plants.

00:06:20.180 I don't know if somebody put them up to this.

00:06:22.660 I don't know if they were out there to smear Turning Point, smear Governor DeSantis.

00:06:25.920 It certainly seemed like they were.

00:06:27.100 I mean, they definitely were smearing Turning Point and Governor DeSantis.

00:06:29.800 But we have no idea who they are.

00:06:31.640 And guess what?

00:06:32.500 Neither does The View, neither does ABC,

00:06:34.460 because nobody did the actual work of identifying them

00:06:37.880 and trying to find out what was going on.

00:06:39.760 Instead, you tried to use it to smear.

00:06:42.280 Well, you know what?

00:06:43.060 We're coming for you.

00:06:44.160 The cease and desist is out now, but just wait.

00:06:46.700 Because if you don't apologize, there's going to be more.

00:06:50.180 We're now seeing reports that China, Russia, and the BRICS Alliance

00:06:55.560 are working to create a new Federal Reserve currency.

00:06:59.480 We knew this was coming.

00:07:00.680 And we have to understand the fragile state of the U.S. dollar

00:07:03.480 and what it means for you.

00:07:05.020 Not only are we in for a tough year,

00:07:06.680 but Biden's printing and spending has been catastrophic for our dollar

00:07:10.680 and, of course, for our economy.

00:07:12.560 Now, we real patriots, we know that Bidenflation is the real pandemic.

00:07:16.220 We've been saying this for how long now?

00:07:18.240 Everyone's talking about inflation.

00:07:20.000 But I recommended all along that you diversify with gold and silver

00:07:23.660 and you still have time.

00:07:25.180 The only company that I recommend for this is Allegiance Gold.

00:07:28.040 My friends at Allegiance Gold can help you protect your IRA or 401k

00:08:08.100 AllegianceGold.com slash Poso.

00:08:09.940 Link in the description.

00:08:13.220 If the radical Democrat politicians at the state, local levels,

00:08:17.800 refuse to protect public safety

00:08:19.580 and instead turn criminals loose to prey upon the innocent,

00:08:24.460 then the federal government will have no choice but to step in,

00:08:28.220 not wait for the governors anymore.

00:08:30.340 I was mandated wait for the governors,

00:08:33.100 but sometimes I couldn't do that.

00:08:35.200 I was watching too many things happen in Minnesota.

00:08:38.880 Minneapolis, what happened?

00:08:40.580 If we didn't send in the National Guard, they wouldn't have a city left.

00:08:43.920 But you have to wait for the governors in theory.

00:08:46.020 We shouldn't be doing that anymore.

00:08:47.440 If a governor wants to have vast numbers of people killed

00:08:52.140 and riots and all of the problems that we have,

00:08:56.040 we're not going to wait any longer.

00:08:57.600 We're going to have passed legislation where we can immediately go in

00:09:00.700 and help those people that are under siege

00:09:03.240 and they have governors that don't know what they're doing.

00:09:05.300 Well, in a speech yesterday, a scathing speech,

00:09:11.660 a tough-as-nails speech to the America First Policy Institute yesterday,

00:09:18.260 before President Trump returned to Washington, D.C.

00:09:22.360 to give his first speech since leaving office.

00:09:24.860 Now, this was a policy speech,

00:09:27.700 but watching this thing,

00:09:29.640 I don't know if everybody really thought

00:09:32.060 how far he was going to go with this.

00:09:34.960 Because, look, and I've said before

00:09:36.720 that when he gave his speech at the RNC,

00:09:38.580 when he gave his inaugural speech,

00:09:40.180 I was somebody that was very supportive of these speeches.

00:09:43.120 And here's why.

00:09:44.220 Because a lot of people said,

00:09:45.960 why are you talking about crime?

00:09:48.280 Why are you talking about

00:09:49.840 all of the death,

00:09:51.560 the killing,

00:09:52.400 the rapes that are going on in this country? 1.00

00:09:54.460 Why are you focusing on these things?

00:09:56.020 Why aren't you going towards those higher heights, right?

00:09:59.540 This is the type of thing

00:10:00.400 that you usually hear politicals go for.

00:10:02.940 And many people referred to those speeches

00:10:05.800 as the American carnage speeches.

00:10:08.440 I think this one could also fit into that same vein.

00:10:11.820 This might be the third time

00:10:13.080 that we've seen an iteration

00:10:14.620 of an American carnage speech from President Trump.

00:10:17.240 And what is he talking about?

00:10:18.660 He's talking about the victims of crime.

00:10:22.020 He's talking about the direct people

00:10:25.200 who live in these areas,

00:10:26.840 live in American cities,

00:10:27.920 live on the border,

00:10:28.820 and are affected by this

00:10:31.480 at such a crazy level.

00:10:33.960 There are insane amounts of violence

00:10:36.000 going on in this country right now, today.

00:10:39.080 And as far as I know,

00:10:39.780 this is the only national level leader

00:10:41.720 that I've heard talk about it.

00:10:43.920 Now, I know we talk about it on this program,

00:10:45.780 In and Out.

00:10:46.420 We cover a lot of stuff.

00:10:47.480 Philadelphia, for example,

00:10:48.640 because that's where I'm from.

00:10:49.740 That's my background.

00:10:50.320 background, but what you heard

00:10:53.920 from the president yesterday,

00:10:56.320 and not only did he talk about,

00:10:58.040 so the first thing he talked about

00:10:59.040 was fast trial and death penalty

00:11:02.080 for drug dealers.

00:11:03.240 And he specifically compared it

00:11:04.980 to what China does to drug dealers.

00:11:06.860 And I got to tell you,

00:11:07.960 you don't have a lot of drugs

00:11:09.600 being sold in China.

00:11:10.500 If you do, they're being sold to foreigners. 0.99

00:11:12.100 They're not being sold to locals or citizens.

00:11:14.340 Why is that?

00:11:15.100 Because of what they will do to you, right?

00:11:17.380 That is one of the most expansive

00:11:20.620 death penalty countries in the world

00:11:23.040 when it comes to drug dealing.

00:11:25.180 Number two, what did he talk about?

00:11:27.180 This is probably the most controversial thing

00:11:29.020 that he said at this speech.

00:11:31.100 One of the most controversial things,

00:11:32.360 at least policies,

00:11:33.160 he may have called for.

00:11:34.920 Sending the National Guard

00:11:36.220 into America's most violent

00:11:39.300 criminal neighborhoods.

00:11:40.780 And not only did he say

00:11:42.380 that we need to return to stop and frisk,

00:11:44.080 which, as we know,

00:11:45.100 was successful

00:11:46.160 in taking down the murder rate

00:11:48.100 in New York City

00:11:48.940 from 2,000 murders

00:11:51.100 down to just a couple hundred murders.

00:11:54.760 Okay.

00:11:56.280 He says,

00:11:57.000 it's not good enough.

00:11:58.860 Send in the National Guard.

00:12:00.880 Now, if you're a longtime listener

00:12:02.520 of Human Events,

00:12:03.840 you know that we talked about this before.

00:12:05.720 We said the reason

00:12:06.540 that we have a National Guard,

00:12:08.180 the reason that we have law enforcement,

00:12:10.100 is that if you have crime

00:12:11.460 that rises to a level

00:12:12.460 and spills over beyond something

00:12:14.020 that police can deal with,

00:12:15.540 that's what we have

00:12:16.320 a National Guard for.

00:12:17.820 So, the question then becomes,

00:12:19.780 would this be effective?

00:12:21.300 And I could see

00:12:21.720 a lot of problems with this.

00:12:23.700 But what he said was,

00:12:25.080 call for legislation

00:12:26.100 that would allow

00:12:27.280 the President of the United States

00:12:29.280 to bypass the governors.

00:12:31.740 And that's an issue

00:12:32.340 that we have right now.

00:12:33.340 Because the President

00:12:34.320 needs the governors

00:12:35.400 to go in

00:12:36.140 and request National Guard.

00:12:37.840 This was an issue in 2020

00:12:38.760 during the riots.

00:12:39.580 This was an issue

00:12:40.460 all over the place

00:12:41.380 because he requested.

00:12:43.180 We also know

00:12:43.760 that he requested

00:12:44.680 20,000 National Guard

00:12:47.220 on January 6th.

00:12:48.860 The Pentagon,

00:12:49.560 the bureaucracy,

00:12:50.180 decided to deny that.

00:12:51.800 Gerald Bowser,

00:12:52.480 the mayor of D.C.,

00:12:53.240 also decided

00:12:54.000 to reject that offer.

00:12:55.140 And we saw what we saw.

00:12:57.360 He's taking

00:12:58.040 a different approach now.

00:12:59.140 He's saying,

00:12:59.900 take away that limitation.

00:13:01.520 Let me do this myself.

00:13:03.840 And look,

00:13:04.220 from where I sit,

00:13:05.260 at least the guy

00:13:06.740 is trying to think

00:13:07.900 of solutions

00:13:08.780 rather than allow

00:13:10.340 these problems

00:13:11.180 to destroy our cities.

00:13:15.340 Look, guys,

00:13:16.260 I got something to say.

00:13:17.800 It's, it's,

00:13:18.780 I don't know

00:13:19.060 if it's an admission.

00:13:20.260 I don't know

00:13:20.660 if it's a confession,

00:13:21.340 but it's something

00:13:22.440 that I wanted

00:13:22.840 to get off my chest.

00:13:23.920 And so here goes.

00:13:25.280 I have a new

00:13:26.800 favorite pair

00:13:27.740 of boxers.

00:13:29.000 It's true.

00:13:29.980 It's true.

00:13:30.660 The other ones,

00:13:31.820 Brand X,

00:13:32.580 they're out.

00:13:33.920 Because there's

00:13:34.720 been an invasion.

00:13:35.540 That's right.

00:13:35.840 There's been an invasion

00:13:36.580 into my boxer drawer.

00:13:38.920 And what that invasion is,

00:13:40.160 it's an invasion

00:13:40.700 that's been conducted

00:13:41.560 by Undertak.

00:13:43.260 I'm telling you,

00:13:44.000 Undertak,

00:13:44.760 they are fantastic.

00:13:46.020 They are the greatest

00:13:46.780 boxers that I have

00:13:47.660 ever worn.

00:13:48.620 They literally

00:13:49.460 have been battle-tested

00:13:50.720 by special forces.

00:13:52.140 I love these things.

00:13:53.160 Not only are they

00:14:07.000 what's going on

00:14:07.660 in Odessa

00:14:52.440 You said in no uncertain terms

00:14:54.620 the other day

00:14:55.200 that no one is above the law.

00:14:57.560 That said,

00:14:58.500 the indictment

00:15:00.060 of a former president,

00:15:01.960 of perhaps candidate

00:15:03.360 for president,

00:15:04.780 would arguably

00:15:05.720 tear the country apart.

00:15:07.460 Is that your concern

00:15:08.600 as you make your decision

00:15:09.820 down the road here?

00:15:11.160 Do you have to think

00:15:11.980 about things like that?

00:15:13.440 Look,

00:15:13.760 we pursue justice

00:15:15.760 without fear or favor.

00:15:17.460 We intend to hold

00:15:19.300 everyone,

00:15:20.620 anyone,

00:15:21.340 who is criminally

00:15:22.380 responsible

00:15:23.120 for events

00:15:24.980 surrounding January 6th

00:15:27.300 for any attempt

00:15:28.440 to interfere

00:15:29.120 with the lawful

00:15:30.040 transfer of power

00:15:30.920 from one administration

00:15:31.860 to another

00:15:32.580 accountable.

00:15:33.780 That's what we do.

00:15:35.180 We don't pay

00:15:35.800 any attention

00:15:36.480 to other issues

00:15:38.800 with respect to that.

00:15:39.780 So if Donald Trump

00:15:40.500 were to become

00:15:41.060 a candidate for president again,

00:15:42.620 that would not

00:15:43.200 change your schedule

00:15:44.600 or how you move forward

00:15:46.620 or don't move forward?

00:15:47.460 I'll say again

00:15:48.980 that we will hold

00:15:50.980 accountable anyone

00:15:51.920 who is criminally

00:15:53.020 responsible

00:15:53.760 for attempting

00:15:55.360 to interfere

00:15:56.340 with the transfer

00:15:57.200 of legitimate,

00:15:58.200 lawful transfer

00:15:58.980 of power

00:15:59.400 from one administration

00:16:00.340 to the next.

00:16:01.260 Have you ever heard

00:16:01.920 of the Stasi,

00:16:03.900 the KGB,

00:16:05.640 the NKVD,

00:16:07.480 the ZPieka? 0.95

00:16:08.900 Have you ever heard

00:16:10.320 of any of these organizations?

00:16:12.440 Well,

00:16:12.920 it seems like

00:16:13.700 we might be having

00:16:15.360 an American Stasi

00:16:16.480 come up here

00:16:18.040 in the United States.

00:16:19.220 And what are they called?

00:16:20.400 They're now called

00:16:21.200 the FBI.

00:16:23.060 We've got news now.

00:16:24.440 And it's not really news,

00:16:25.700 but it's news

00:16:26.480 in the sense of

00:16:27.120 they're pushing for it.

00:16:28.660 The Washington Post

00:16:29.640 has just dropped

00:16:30.640 a new article,

00:16:31.740 incredible article.

00:16:33.040 Let's see,

00:16:33.340 one,

00:16:33.740 two,

00:16:34.340 three,

00:16:34.700 four reporters.

00:16:35.800 It took four reporters

00:16:36.740 for them to put this,

00:16:37.880 that the Justice Department

00:16:39.340 under the Biden regime

00:16:40.980 is now targeting

00:16:42.660 former President Trump

00:16:44.320 in a criminal probe

00:16:46.420 for January 6th.

00:16:48.200 Now,

00:16:48.980 I went through this article

00:16:50.600 and I asked

00:16:51.900 Producer Shah

00:16:52.760 to go through this article.

00:16:54.060 She did.

00:16:55.400 We went through

00:16:56.260 paragraph after paragraph,

00:16:58.040 line after line,

00:16:59.300 with a single question

00:17:01.280 in mind.

00:17:02.060 And that question was,

00:17:03.700 what is the crime?

00:17:06.120 What crime

00:17:07.320 are they investigating?

00:17:08.960 Where's the probable cause?

00:17:12.020 Where's the inciting incident

00:17:14.000 that created this?

00:17:16.020 Why did they open

00:17:16.600 this investigation?

00:17:17.500 Where is it?

00:17:17.820 So,

00:17:18.660 for example,

00:17:19.680 Hunter Biden,

00:17:20.220 as we talked about yesterday,

00:17:21.340 had this thing called

00:17:22.240 a laptop.

00:17:23.180 But they didn't open

00:17:24.640 an investigation into that

00:17:26.020 and all those emails.

00:17:26.960 Why?

00:17:27.820 Well,

00:17:28.000 because they decided

00:17:28.700 to label it disinformation.

00:17:30.560 This is the same exact people.

00:17:32.080 This is also the same people

00:17:33.160 who created

00:17:34.240 a vast,

00:17:35.680 false,

00:17:36.300 Russiagate conspiracy

00:17:37.380 that conspiracy

00:17:39.140 led,

00:17:40.040 by the way,

00:17:41.100 James T.

00:17:41.640 Hodgkinson

00:17:42.220 to drive a halfway

00:17:43.720 across the country 0.99

00:17:44.580 and shoot up 0.82

00:17:45.680 a congressional

00:17:47.040 baseball game

00:17:48.100 back in 2017.

00:17:49.640 Nobody talks about

00:17:50.380 that one anymore,

00:17:51.040 but James T.

00:17:51.600 Hodgkinson,

00:17:52.100 he did this.

00:17:52.820 And he did this

00:17:53.560 because he was

00:17:54.480 a fervent believer

00:17:55.380 in the Russiagate conspiracy.

00:17:56.940 He had it on his Facebook page.

00:17:57.960 And so what I said

00:18:00.860 to Producer Shah was,

00:18:02.060 can you find

00:18:03.180 an actual crime in here

00:18:04.100 that says they're looking for it?

00:18:05.800 And it's,

00:18:05.940 well,

00:18:06.240 they're pulling phone records

00:18:07.820 and they're investigating

00:18:08.840 and they're digging

00:18:10.640 into so many different things.

00:18:12.340 They're talking to associates

00:18:13.600 and they're working

00:18:14.540 with the Jan 6 committee

00:18:15.760 and it's very nebulous,

00:18:17.320 you see,

00:18:17.720 and it's all very opaque

00:18:18.700 and it's the grand jury.

00:18:20.560 It's so formal.

00:18:21.620 No.

00:18:22.680 I know they don't have one.

00:18:24.140 There's nothing.

00:18:25.820 They opened an investigation

00:18:28.000 in search of a crime.

00:18:29.960 And you know who did that?

00:18:31.660 The Stasi, 0.94

00:18:32.880 the NKVD,

00:18:34.700 the Bezpieka

00:18:35.520 in Poland,

00:18:37.540 Communist Poland,

00:18:38.980 the KGB.

00:18:40.540 That's what we have now.

00:18:42.160 We have an American Stasi 0.62

00:18:43.480 because,

00:18:44.800 and I remember,

00:18:45.500 by the way,

00:18:46.100 I remember,

00:18:47.360 remember the entire

00:18:48.360 first impeachment

00:18:50.160 of President Trump

00:18:51.640 had to do with him,

00:18:53.920 as we were told,

00:18:55.160 trying to open up

00:18:57.100 an investigation

00:18:57.820 into Hunter Biden

00:18:59.320 because they said

00:19:01.180 if Joe Biden

00:19:01.900 was at the time

00:19:03.180 looking at a run

00:19:05.880 for the presidency,

00:19:07.740 then he was trying

00:19:08.560 to investigate

00:19:09.080 a political opponent.

00:19:10.060 And by the way,

00:19:10.640 who was he on the phone with?

00:19:12.760 Vladimir Zelensky,

00:19:13.880 the guy who's overtaking

00:19:14.780 Annie Leibovitz' 0.95

00:19:15.940 photo shoots

00:19:16.560 in the middle of a war

00:19:17.420 right now.

00:19:18.040 Okay,

00:19:18.460 his blue steel moment.

00:19:20.480 When we look at this,

00:19:21.980 you have to understand

00:19:23.180 what part of the movie

00:19:23.920 we're in.

00:19:24.840 I know I say it every day,

00:19:26.560 but if you look at this

00:19:27.780 and you're surprised,

00:19:29.100 then you really haven't

00:19:30.220 been paying attention.

00:19:31.320 You really don't understand

00:19:33.000 that there is a force

00:19:34.780 in this country.

00:19:35.680 As Charlie called it,

00:19:36.460 an invading force.

00:19:37.800 They've taken over

00:19:38.740 our institutions,

00:19:39.700 they've taken over

00:19:40.460 our government,

00:19:41.060 and they do not want

00:19:42.180 to be dislodged.

00:19:43.440 And they view,

00:19:44.900 they view this guy

00:19:45.880 as a threat.

00:19:46.840 And that's why

00:19:47.480 they're going after him.

00:19:48.620 That's why they're going

00:19:49.240 after Steve Bannon.

00:19:50.000 That's why they're going

00:19:50.580 after anyone associated

00:19:52.040 with this movement.

00:19:53.040 They will do this

00:19:53.920 and they will bring charges

00:19:55.260 and bring indictments.

00:19:56.260 Mark my words.

00:19:59.680 Eric Swalwell

00:20:00.680 did exactly

00:20:01.580 what the Chinese wanted.

00:20:03.140 We need to figure out,

00:20:04.400 are there others?

00:20:05.280 And I can tell you

00:20:06.480 without giving away

00:20:07.240 too much intelligence,

00:20:08.180 this is the tip

00:20:09.400 of the iceberg

00:20:10.140 when it comes

00:20:10.860 to the leverage

00:20:11.940 that China is putting 0.90

00:20:13.360 on our politicians.

00:20:14.260 There's many,

00:20:15.280 many more.

00:20:16.820 Wouldn't the Bidens

00:20:17.800 be up there

00:20:18.380 in that category?

00:20:20.980 There's a variety

00:20:22.060 of mayors,

00:20:23.000 governors,

00:20:23.660 senior people.

00:20:24.980 Look,

00:20:25.100 the other thing

00:20:25.640 that we've got

00:20:26.660 to point to

00:20:27.440 is that Eric Swalwell

00:20:28.480 said.

00:20:28.680 I can't let you gloss

00:20:29.280 over that.

00:20:30.360 Mayors,

00:20:31.060 governors,

00:20:31.700 senior officials,

00:20:32.580 what?

00:20:34.700 There's a whole bunch,

00:20:35.920 Sean,

00:20:36.120 and more should

00:20:36.920 be coming out.

00:20:37.960 They've all received

00:20:38.600 defensive briefings

00:20:39.580 and there's a lot

00:20:40.200 more to it.

00:20:41.000 This is the tip

00:20:41.580 of the iceberg.

00:20:42.480 We just heard right there

00:20:43.680 from Ambassador Grinnell

00:20:44.960 about the CCP

00:20:46.600 attempting to build

00:20:48.060 spy rings

00:20:49.120 across our government.

00:20:50.720 Now,

00:20:50.860 this has been something,

00:20:51.700 of course,

00:20:52.040 that I focused on

00:20:52.740 for years,

00:20:53.520 not only while

00:20:54.860 working in news,

00:20:55.740 but also prior to this

00:20:57.100 when I was in

00:20:57.860 the intelligence community

00:20:58.820 directly focusing

00:20:59.740 on East Asia

00:21:00.620 and the CCP.

00:21:01.760 Now,

00:21:02.260 we've got a story

00:21:02.860 out from the

00:21:03.480 Wall Street Journal.

00:21:04.400 We've got a

00:21:04.860 congressional investigation

00:21:05.880 behind this.

00:21:07.360 The CCP

00:21:07.960 was building

00:21:08.800 a network

00:21:09.400 of informants

00:21:10.420 inside the

00:21:11.860 Federal Reserve

00:21:13.020 system

00:21:13.520 and at one

00:21:14.540 point detained

00:21:15.740 a Fed economist

00:21:17.200 during a trip

00:21:18.380 to Shanghai

00:21:19.000 unless he agreed

00:21:20.640 to provide

00:21:21.420 non-public,

00:21:22.660 that's private,

00:21:23.740 economic data

00:21:24.660 to the CCP.

00:21:26.280 Now,

00:21:26.540 this investigation

00:21:27.080 is being run

00:21:28.240 by staff members

00:21:29.040 of the Senate

00:21:29.540 Committee on Homeland

00:21:30.400 Security and Government

00:21:31.300 Affairs,

00:21:31.940 and they found

00:21:32.500 that over a decade,

00:21:34.560 Fed employees

00:21:35.400 were offered

00:21:36.540 contracts with

00:21:37.400 CCP talent

00:21:38.280 recruitment programs,

00:21:39.780 which often included

00:21:40.620 cash payments

00:21:41.380 and asked to

00:21:42.280 provide information

00:21:43.140 on U.S.

00:21:43.700 economy,

00:21:44.160 exchange rates,

00:21:45.240 interest rates,

00:21:46.140 policies,

00:21:46.760 and all sorts

00:21:47.660 of other,

00:21:48.340 obviously,

00:21:49.680 protected data

00:21:50.540 from inside the Fed.

00:21:52.280 In the case

00:21:53.020 of The Economist,

00:21:54.420 CCP officials

00:21:55.320 in 2019

00:21:56.260 detained,

00:21:58.020 detained their

00:21:58.840 economist

00:21:59.280 in Shanghai,

00:22:01.280 held him over,

00:22:02.400 and this was during

00:22:03.200 the Trump administration,

00:22:04.280 was demanding to know

00:22:05.500 information on tariffs

00:22:07.280 between the U.S.

00:22:08.400 and China

00:22:08.740 because,

00:22:09.100 of course,

00:22:09.380 the U.S.

00:22:09.820 was rightly

00:22:10.820 and finally

00:22:11.680 putting tariffs

00:22:12.540 on China

00:22:13.320 in the midst

00:22:14.300 of the trade war.

00:22:15.400 They also found

00:22:16.480 people who

00:22:17.380 had been

00:22:18.080 recruiting

00:22:18.760 for the CCP

00:22:20.120 inside the Federal

00:22:21.540 Reserves.

00:22:22.000 You had CCP agents,

00:22:23.620 traders,

00:22:24.120 by the way,

00:22:24.840 people who had

00:22:25.380 flipped on the

00:22:26.240 United States

00:22:26.960 and were working

00:22:28.000 with the CCP,

00:22:29.300 trying to then

00:22:29.880 recruit people

00:22:31.000 from inside

00:22:32.120 with their own

00:22:33.240 connections

00:22:33.680 while working

00:22:34.420 at the Federal Reserve.

00:22:36.140 Do you have any

00:22:36.820 idea how many

00:22:37.540 foreign agents

00:22:38.240 we have working

00:22:38.960 in the bureaucracy?

00:22:40.680 And I know

00:22:40.960 there's that big

00:22:41.460 piece out

00:22:42.100 in Axios

00:22:43.420 and my boy

00:22:43.880 Jonathan Swan

00:22:44.560 has all of it

00:22:45.220 and it's paragraph

00:22:46.220 after paragraph

00:22:47.200 and note

00:22:47.820 after note

00:22:48.400 about turning

00:22:49.440 federal employees,

00:22:50.580 these civil service

00:22:51.160 employees,

00:22:52.680 civil service employees

00:22:53.260 is what I used

00:22:53.760 to be one of them,

00:22:54.300 right?

00:22:55.020 When I was

00:22:55.340 in the intel community,

00:22:56.300 turning it into

00:22:56.860 something called

00:22:57.320 Schedule F

00:22:58.060 and allowing

00:22:58.840 Schedule F

00:22:59.740 to be directly

00:23:00.760 fireable

00:23:01.540 by the President

00:23:02.040 of the United States.

00:23:02.740 You know what

00:23:03.020 I have to say?

00:23:04.160 God bless it.

00:23:05.380 We need it

00:23:06.180 because we need

00:23:07.260 to roll up

00:23:08.260 people that are

00:23:09.200 in these institutions

00:23:10.560 that hate this country

00:23:12.120 that are working

00:23:13.300 in some cases

00:23:14.020 for our foreign

00:23:15.280 adversaries.

00:23:16.440 You mean to tell me

00:23:17.100 you don't think

00:23:17.660 that every single

00:23:18.620 institution of government

00:23:19.560 hasn't been compromised

00:23:20.380 by the CCP?

00:23:22.140 Do you have any idea

00:23:22.720 how many Iranian agents

00:23:23.760 there are

00:23:24.240 at the State Department?

00:23:25.980 Do you want to go

00:23:26.380 not to mention

00:23:27.020 Russia, Ukraine,

00:23:28.400 Kazakhstan?

00:23:28.960 The list goes on

00:23:30.120 and on.

00:23:30.580 You think it's just

00:23:31.060 Hunter Biden?

00:23:32.420 If you think it's just

00:23:33.420 Hunter Biden,

00:23:34.100 that's a joke.

00:23:35.640 Okay?

00:23:36.200 The level of

00:23:36.960 Qatar,

00:23:38.180 I could go on

00:23:39.140 and on about this.

00:23:39.940 The level of penetration

00:23:41.480 of our federal government

00:23:43.020 is insane.

00:23:44.640 That's why,

00:23:45.300 from a national

00:23:46.060 security perspective,

00:23:47.500 it's not just

00:23:48.600 drain the swamp anymore.

00:23:51.120 Dismantle

00:23:51.720 the administrative state.

00:23:53.580 I'm sick of being

00:23:54.380 ruled over by

00:23:55.180 bureaucrats

00:23:55.940 and quote unquote

00:23:56.700 the experts

00:23:57.860 and we need to

00:23:58.800 get rid of these people

00:23:59.660 and we need to 0.96

00:24:00.120 get rid of them now.

00:24:03.040 And that's all the time

00:24:03.920 we have today,

00:24:04.480 Human Events Daily.

00:24:05.240 Remember,

00:24:05.620 as always,

00:24:06.260 our promise,

00:24:06.760 our oath,

00:24:07.080 our solemn vow

00:24:07.580 to you,

00:24:07.840 be good,

00:24:08.160 be brief,

00:24:08.520 be gone.

00:24:09.080 Your homework for us,

00:24:10.100 share this out with

00:24:10.760 one,

00:24:11.060 just one of your

00:24:11.400 normie friends

00:24:11.860 and then leave us

00:24:12.440 your five-star review,

00:24:13.620 Apple,

00:24:14.060 Spotify,

00:24:14.860 wherever you get

00:24:15.660 your politics.

00:24:16.320 What did we talk

00:24:16.820 about today?

00:24:17.800 Turning Point USA

00:24:18.560 issuing the cease

00:24:19.980 and desist

00:24:20.700 to ABC News

00:24:21.960 over their

00:24:22.680 defamatory statements

00:24:24.100 on The View

00:24:24.540 and parent company

00:24:25.200 Disney,

00:24:25.660 oof,

00:24:26.120 not good,

00:24:26.620 Disney,

00:24:26.880 next,

00:24:27.440 President Trump

00:24:27.980 calling for sending

00:24:28.740 the National Guard

00:24:29.880 into the most

00:24:30.900 violent criminal

00:24:31.980 neighborhoods

00:24:32.780 in America.

00:24:33.780 You know what?

00:24:34.240 Just do it.

00:24:35.300 Third,

00:24:35.900 the Justice Department

00:24:36.880 investigating,

00:24:37.960 has just announced

00:24:38.720 they are investigating

00:24:39.660 President Trump

00:24:40.620 in a criminal probe

00:24:42.680 into his actions

00:24:43.620 prior to

00:24:44.520 and on January 6th.

00:24:45.860 And then finally,

00:24:46.780 the CCP

00:24:47.220 tried to build

00:24:47.940 a spy network

00:24:48.880 inside the Fed

00:24:49.940 and they detained

00:24:51.080 a Fed economist.

00:24:52.720 Our entire country's

00:24:54.180 institutions

00:24:54.680 are penetrated

00:24:55.940 by foreign agents.

00:24:57.480 This is even bigger

00:24:58.460 than Hydra.

00:25:00.060 There's a lot going on

00:25:01.280 this week.

00:25:01.960 There's so much happening,

00:25:03.440 whether it's here in D.C.,

00:25:04.980 whether it's out

00:25:05.640 across the country,

00:25:06.620 from here in the

00:25:07.460 imperial capital,

00:25:08.760 out across the provinces,

00:25:10.060 but Human Events Daily

00:25:11.080 will be here every day

00:25:12.500 to look around the corner

00:25:13.760 and tell you

00:25:14.840 what's going on.

00:25:16.320 But first,

00:25:17.780 it's time for today's

00:25:18.520 history break.

00:25:19.740 On this day,

00:25:21.220 all the way back,

00:25:22.820 1953,

00:25:25.200 the United States

00:25:26.200 ended three

00:25:27.120 bloody years of war,

00:25:29.180 signing an armistice

00:25:30.060 between the U.S.

00:25:31.180 and North Korea.

00:25:32.880 At Panmunjom in Korea,

00:25:34.500 the war lasted,

00:25:35.280 of course,

00:25:35.500 three years,

00:25:36.320 one of the most

00:25:37.220 bloody conflicts

00:25:38.280 the United States

00:25:38.940 was ever in.

00:25:40.140 Look up the history

00:25:41.040 of the frozen Joseon.

00:25:42.740 Look up the history

00:25:43.620 of what the United States

00:25:44.780 did to fight communism

00:25:46.580 around the world.

00:25:48.520 This has been

00:25:49.400 an existential threat

00:25:50.700 to the United States

00:25:51.580 for a long time.

00:25:52.980 And when we talk about

00:25:53.720 the penetration of communists

00:25:55.020 here in the United States,

00:25:56.940 we need to do

00:25:58.320 something about it.

00:25:59.200 You've got foreign agents, 0.98

00:26:00.400 you've got them

00:26:00.820 flipping government employees,

00:26:01.940 you've got them

00:26:02.180 flipping bureaucrats.

00:26:03.200 It needs to stop

00:26:04.180 and someone has to come

00:26:05.120 and clean it up.

00:26:06.180 Ladies and gentlemen,

00:26:06.920 as always,

00:26:07.340 you have my permission

00:26:07.980 to lay ashore.
