Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec - MAR 16 2022 - WAR IN UKRAINE - DAY 21 UPDATE

00:00:00.000 So I've been talking about this for a little bit.

00:00:02.940 I'm going to say it again.

00:00:04.020 Go and check out the new Socialism Sucks Season 2.

00:00:08.760 It just dropped all the information on COVID, where it came from, what was the deal with

00:00:14.620 the Wuhan lab.

00:00:15.820 You remember that guy, by the way, Dr. Fauci, you remember his name?

00:00:18.860 It's kind of amazing, by the way, how they pulled Dr. Fauci off stage and none of the

00:00:24.540 normies even seemed to notice.

00:00:26.200 It's all Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, right? 0.92

00:00:28.160 Don't worry about that guy, Fauci.

00:00:29.520 Don't worry about that lab in Wuhan.

00:00:31.140 That was last season.

00:00:32.340 We're not talking about that stuff anymore.

00:00:34.520 Well, guess what?

00:00:35.640 That stuff still affected us.

00:00:37.560 That stuff still exists.

00:00:39.060 Those people are still out there.

00:00:40.660 And so we need the information on it.

00:00:42.540 So what do you do?

00:00:43.220 You go to the Turning Point USA Socialism Sucks series.

00:00:46.640 They have a whole new episode, a new 25-minute documentary, breaks it all down on communism

00:00:52.200 in China.

00:00:53.580 Go and watch it today.

00:00:54.640 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, brought to you

00:01:00.620 by Turning Point USA.

00:01:01.860 Today's top stories, the war in Ukraine enters day 21.

00:01:06.000 We'll give you a full ground update.

00:01:07.420 Next, an incredible piece by Pedro Gonzalez on humanevents.com, the fog of information

00:01:13.640 war in Ukraine.

00:01:14.460 We're going to break down his incredible reporting.

00:01:16.360 Third, Saudi Arabia considers accepting yuan for Chinese oil sales.

00:01:22.040 This is the rise of the petroyuan and the fall of the petrodollar.

00:01:26.320 And finally, the U.S. consulate in Mexico reportedly sustained gunfire amid explosions after the arrest

00:01:32.800 of a cartel leader.

00:01:33.980 Seems like something that ought to be a little bit of a bigger story.

00:01:37.180 All that's in more ahead, Human Events Daily.

00:01:46.360 All right, so day 21, exactly three weeks since the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

00:01:56.160 We're going to give you a full ground update.

00:01:58.220 Earlier today, President Zelensky of Ukraine addressed U.S. Congress and begged them, pleaded

00:02:05.200 with them, requested them to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

00:02:08.900 Here's the problem with that.

00:02:10.700 A no-fly zone is essentially a misnomer.

00:02:13.820 A no-fly zone is actually kind of like saying mostly peaceful protest when you're talking

00:02:19.160 about the rioting throughout 2020.

00:02:21.040 No, a no-fly zone isn't what we should be called.

00:02:23.300 What it should be called is a shoot-down zone because there'd be a lot of flying in that

00:02:27.360 no-fly zone of U.S. and NATO aircraft flying over, trying to control those skies, flying

00:02:33.820 combat patrols.

00:02:35.140 So what you would have then is the Russians would be coming in and obviously they would not 1.00

00:02:39.300 abide by the no-fly zone because they are conducting military operations over the same

00:02:43.340 area.

00:02:43.820 What would that lead to?

00:02:44.760 A little something called World War III, active, engaged combat with Russia.

00:02:51.100 That's exactly what that would lead to.

00:02:53.000 That's why throughout the entire Cold War, it's like we forgot all this stuff.

00:02:56.380 We didn't come to blows directly with Russia.

00:02:59.440 We took great pains not to do this, whether it be in Afghanistan, whether it be in Vietnam.

00:03:03.760 These were active, hostile conflicts that took place during the Cold War.

00:03:07.600 Even Korea, to some extent, very early on in the Cold War.

00:03:09.820 But we never once directly attacked Russia.

00:03:12.920 They never directly attacked us because of the reason of nuclear weapons.

00:03:17.920 Here's a clip from Jen Psaki yesterday, the White House press secretary, talking about

00:03:22.800 this very situation.

00:03:23.780 Is the president showing enough strength against Putin?

00:03:26.560 The president has rallied the global community to put in place a greater set of financial sanctions

00:03:32.760 package than has ever been done for any economy in the world.

00:03:35.940 It wouldn't have happened without his action.

00:03:38.740 They did not expect their military to not make as much progress as they have made.

00:03:44.760 The steps we are taking are making it more difficult for President Putin to build and augment

00:03:50.060 his military, to get access to the technology that he needs and wants.

00:03:54.480 It has taken steps to cripple the economy that there's no question, regardless of what Kremlin

00:03:59.360 spokespeople say, it has had a dramatic impact on the economy.

00:04:02.980 And we're doing all of that while providing a historic amount of military assistance to

00:04:07.480 the Ukrainians, helping them effectively fight back.

00:04:10.760 All right.

00:04:10.940 Now let's get into the map.

00:04:12.560 So map break, guys, if you can throw it up next to me there.

00:04:15.240 What we really need to talk about is the encirclement of Kiev is still continuing.

00:04:20.380 The southern door is still open to the south, so you can get out from the south of Kiev and

00:04:25.440 hopefully that a lot of the civilians are getting out of there.

00:04:27.780 But the encirclement continues on the other three edges of it.

00:04:31.480 Now, what we're also seeing is that Russian columns are moving south from Kharkiv and they're

00:04:35.780 also moving east and north out of Donetsk, out of the Donbass area and coming up north from

00:04:41.600 Kherson.

00:04:42.160 What does this mean?

00:04:43.420 What is the play here?

00:04:44.340 Well, it's very simple.

00:04:45.040 They are attempting, as we've said before, to envelop those 50,000 Ukrainian troops that

00:04:50.860 are still on the Donbass line to the far east.

00:04:53.880 If they are enveloped, that essentially means that they will be cut off from the rest of

00:04:59.440 Ukraine and that Russia will control the entire eastern portion of Ukraine.

00:05:03.860 This is key strategic territory.

00:05:05.820 So one city that I really want to focus your attention on is Dnepro.

00:05:10.760 Dnepro is directly in the center of Ukraine.

00:05:13.500 If you look on the map, it's right on the Dnepro River.

00:05:15.560 It's north of the Zaporozhitsa nuclear power plant.

00:05:18.940 That was something that was seen as a key staging point and a key takeaway where that

00:05:22.880 firefight broke out just a couple of weeks ago.

00:05:25.080 Why are they doing this?

00:05:26.160 Because the Russians understand that if they can take Dnepro, while they already have total 0.98

00:05:32.420 control of Kherson, obviously total control of Crimea in the south, then they can move north.

00:05:38.280 That is the last key strategic city on the Dnepro River.

00:05:42.800 If they are able to take it, then they will effectively cut off Ukraine from the rest of 0.99

00:05:48.720 the country, even while fighting continues in Kiev, right?

00:05:52.720 Kiev is a strategic point for them.

00:05:55.340 But at the end of the day, it's about controlling that territory, that massive bulk, the flank of

00:06:00.680 Ukraine that is to the east of the Dnepro River.

00:06:03.180 They cut that off.

00:06:04.540 They are not going to give it back.

00:06:06.500 And then the fight for Kiev might then become a siege.

00:06:10.180 Of course, that is a strategic political objective for them.

00:06:13.480 But that's why you're already starting to see Russian airstrikes.

00:06:16.880 You're seeing missile strikes on that city of Dnepro because what they're doing is strategic 1.00

00:06:22.340 shaping of the battle space in preparation for a direct attack on that city.

00:06:27.060 Now, we told you before earlier that in the port city of Mariupol, that is where the Russian 0.59

00:06:32.780 forces and the separatists have joined up.

00:06:34.700 They carved the city in half, north to south.

00:06:37.540 Now, you're seeing an east-west pinch that's coming in.

00:06:40.520 They're coming in from both sides, cutting the city into four quadrants.

00:06:44.900 And of those four quadrants, they are going through and conducting mop-up operations.

00:06:49.300 They are targeting the Azov Battalion.

00:06:51.060 They are going after every single last member of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Azov Battalion

00:06:56.300 that they can find in that city of Mariupol, pushing deeper and deeper into the urban terrain.

00:07:00.880 Look, you guys have been listening to this podcast.

00:07:07.700 You've been watching this show.

00:07:08.660 You understand that the U.S. dollar is in dire straits.

00:07:12.720 It simply is.

00:07:13.540 We're talking about the rise of the petro yuan.

00:07:15.660 We're looking at the fall of the petrodollar.

00:07:19.360 This is fall of Rome stuff.

00:07:20.980 We are in for a tough year.

00:07:22.860 And the printing, the spending of the Biden administration and the Fed, this is catastrophic

00:07:28.420 for the U.S. dollar and for the markets.

00:07:31.240 So we know that you need to diversify and you need to do so right now.

00:07:37.160 Do it with gold and silver.

00:07:39.060 And the only company that I recommend is Allegiance Gold.

00:07:41.900 My friends at Allegiance Gold can help you protect your IRA or your 401k with physical gold and silver.

00:07:49.360 Or you can have it delivered securely right to your door.

00:07:52.220 They will educate you with IRA gold education kits and the benefits of physical gold because they care and they want to build a long-term relationship.

00:08:01.880 Allegiance Gold has the highest rating from third-party consumer protection agencies.

00:08:06.480 Five stars with TrustLink.

00:08:08.080 They are AAA rated with the Business Consumer Alliance and have an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau.

00:08:14.560 And you get $500 of free silver on a qualifying purchase when you tell them that Poso sent you.

00:08:19.280 So do not wait.

00:08:20.680 Go today.

00:08:21.820 Go to the website.

00:08:22.660 Take action.

00:08:23.360 It's allegiancegold.com slash Poso.

00:08:25.780 We cannot control the Biden administration.

00:08:28.640 We cannot control the Fed.

00:08:29.820 But we can prepare.

00:08:31.240 Allegiancegold.com slash Poso.

00:08:33.160 Because the goal is not to completely subjugate Afghanistan.

00:08:38.920 The goal is to use Afghanistan to wash money out of the tax bases of the United States, out of the tax bases of European countries, through Afghanistan, and back into the hands of a transnational security alliance.

00:08:54.460 That is the goal.

00:08:55.720 Those were the words of Julian Assange a decade ago, talking about Afghanistan.

00:09:00.400 Well, that same transnational security elite that he's talking about aren't focused on Afghanistan anymore.

00:09:06.940 They lost that.

00:09:08.120 They lost their payday as their money laundering schemes and operations have winded down in Afghanistan.

00:09:15.880 So what are they trying to do now?

00:09:17.660 Now, they're trying to move everything to Ukraine.

00:09:21.340 They want to turn Ukraine into their new money-washing operation. 0.99

00:09:26.660 Who do you think gets paid every time a shipment of arms goes over to Ukraine?

00:09:31.960 Who do you think gets paid when there's ammo, when there's weapons, these javelin systems that we're hearing about, anti-air systems, right?

00:09:41.360 If you thought big pharma was powerful, wait till you meet the military-industrial complex.

00:09:48.300 War is a racket.

00:09:50.920 So it's just time for some hard truth.

00:09:53.400 There are people, there are elites, who stand to make billions of dollars if the United States goes to war in Ukraine.

00:10:03.740 It's not their families that'll go to fight, and it won't be their homes or their territories where the fighting takes place.

00:10:09.600 It'll be far, far away, just like it was in Afghanistan. 1.00

00:10:12.560 But what will they receive?

00:10:13.420 They'll receive billions of dollars.

00:10:16.400 They're already making millions off the arms sales, but there are billions of dollars on the table.

00:10:21.740 So when you see the entire uniparty standing in lockstep on anything, like you're seeing with this now, 0.52

00:10:29.980 you better start paying attention, and you better start holding on to your wallets, because that's what's coming.

00:10:36.920 That's exactly what this is all about.

00:10:40.460 War is a racket.

00:10:43.420 And there's an incredible story by Pedro Gonzalez up, and yes, at humanevents.com.

00:10:49.180 So go to humanevents.com and read this story right now.

00:10:52.580 The fog of information war in Ukraine.

00:10:55.900 Pedro writes,

00:10:56.680 The Western intelligence apparatus has been busy in Ukraine, with financing and collaboration through various non-governmental organizations.

00:11:04.760 It won the information war with the help of Ukrainian media before Russia ever fired a shot in February.

00:11:10.500 Even the country's newest publications, like the Kiev Independent, have received support and funding from institutions associated with the Central Intelligence Agency.

00:11:18.080 In most cases, these outlets seem to have propagandized to the beat of the West's war drums rather than inform the public.

00:11:25.340 Since the Independent launched last November, it has amassed nearly 2 million followers on Twitter and became a main artery of information in the war.

00:11:34.060 Far from being objective, its writers tend to snap at those who contradict their narratives.

00:11:40.420 One of their writers, their defense reporter, even declared himself a brother-in-arms with the Azov Battalion, a unit that has been accused of committing war crimes against civilians in eastern Ukraine.

00:11:51.040 According to journalist Michael Tracy, this same defense reporter amassed almost a million followers in just the last two weeks.

00:11:59.700 That kind of growth is hard and impressive.

00:12:01.960 But the Independent has some special connections.

00:12:04.240 They're connected to organizations like the National Endowment for Democracy.

00:12:08.500 Well, what did the National Endowment for Democracy say?

00:12:11.160 He said, basically, we do overtly what the CIA used to do covertly.

00:12:16.360 That's one of the statements they made.

00:12:19.580 And what else has been going on over there?

00:12:22.380 Well, there are also reports that came out not too long ago that the United States intelligence agencies, the CIA, and this is out of Yahoo News, right?

00:12:31.140 2022, January 13th.

00:12:33.680 CIA-trained Ukrainian paramilitaries may take central role if Russia invades.

00:12:38.680 The CIA is overseeing a secret intensive training program in the U.S. for elite Ukrainian special operations forces and other intelligence personnel.

00:12:46.980 The program, which started in 2015, is based at an undisclosed facility in the southern U.S., according to some of these officials.

00:12:55.000 The CIA-trained forces could play a critical role on Ukraine's eastern border where Russian troops have masked.

00:13:00.820 Now, keep in mind, this is written before the invasion.

00:13:03.260 And the U.S. and Russia started security talks.

00:13:04.860 So, what's the point?

00:13:06.520 They're trying to train these forces to act as paramilitary insurgents should a Russian invasion take place.

00:13:13.680 Because they knew that the Ukrainian army, right, would be bogged down.

00:13:18.820 They knew that the Russian military far, far outnumbered the Ukrainian military.

00:13:24.300 So, they were training insurgents.

00:13:26.000 Where have I heard this one before?

00:13:28.620 It's like we just said.

00:13:29.960 This is the exact same playbook from Afghanistan in the 1970s, 1970s.

00:13:35.460 It's a whole movie about it.

00:13:36.220 Go what?

00:13:36.460 Charlie Wilson's War.

00:13:37.300 Tom Hanks.

00:13:38.600 But you won't hear Tom Hanks saying that the same stuff is being done now.

00:13:42.280 And what did the United States do back then?

00:13:44.720 We found another group.

00:13:45.720 We may have disagreed with their, you know, their beliefs.

00:13:49.160 We may have thought that their actions were a little bit shady.

00:13:53.040 A little bit morally questionable.

00:13:54.880 But that group was called the Mujahideen.

00:13:58.320 And we got in bed with them.

00:13:59.920 And we funded them.

00:14:01.020 And we trained them.

00:14:01.920 Why?

00:14:02.620 Because we wanted to turn Afghanistan into a wasteland. 1.00

00:14:06.080 And we did that. 0.97

00:14:07.580 And we wanted them to bleed the Russians. 1.00

00:14:10.580 Well, that's the exact same thing that these same people are doing with Ukraine today.

00:14:15.940 And they're sidling up to people like the Azov Battalion, right, who we just said have been accused of war crimes.

00:14:24.880 Against the people of eastern Ukraine. 0.55

00:14:27.020 But we're training them the same way that we trained Mujahideen all those years ago.

00:14:32.740 And look how that turned out.

00:14:34.000 Well, folks, if you like this show, if you want to continue watching us, help enable us to continue to produce this information for you, to synthesize everything that's going on out there, to chunk it down and analyze it, and then produce this show, this program.

00:14:52.520 You go and support our sponsors.

00:14:54.700 I mean, thank you so much for the support that you have given them.

00:14:58.060 And I want to also remind you to go to MyPillow.com.

00:15:01.360 Use promo code POSO.

00:15:03.060 They have been such an incredible sponsor for us.

00:15:05.620 I want to really thank Mike Lindell for all the work he does on behalf of the country.

00:15:09.300 And then also all the support that he's given to us since this program started here on Human Events Daily.

00:15:14.780 So you go, what is that again?

00:15:16.500 MyPillow.com.

00:15:17.420 Promo code POSO.

00:15:18.180 So look, for me, it's not just the fact that the pillows are amazing when you dial that firmness right in, right?

00:15:24.820 And it's not just the fact that we do have the mattress topper, Tanya and I, every night we're on the mattress topper, we're on the sheets, but we got the towel set this Christmas.

00:15:33.400 And let me tell you something.

00:15:34.840 They just work.

00:15:36.040 They're towels that actually work, finally, right?

00:15:39.460 It's not just something where you're like, they're not absorbing, they're not actually.

00:15:42.780 No, just get them yourself.

00:15:45.740 Try them for yourself.

00:15:46.600 You'll see what I mean.

00:15:47.220 MyPillow.com slash post.

00:15:48.460 So get the towel set and you'll say, wait a minute.

00:15:50.940 I never thought the towels could actually work before.

00:15:53.640 I guarantee you these do.

00:15:56.200 All right.

00:15:56.420 We got to get into this next story.

00:15:57.660 So we're talking a lot this week and you've seen it already.

00:16:01.840 Wall Street Journal had that massive story.

00:16:04.260 Saudi Arabia considering accepting yuan instead of dollars for Chinese oil sales.

00:16:11.360 All right.

00:16:11.600 This is fall of Rome stuff.

00:16:12.900 This is the kind of stuff that you talk about when we're getting into the territory where the world reserve currency is going to be in a period of transition.

00:16:23.240 Don't you like that word lately?

00:16:24.720 We hear it again.

00:16:25.420 It's just transition.

00:16:26.520 Just a transition.

00:16:27.640 We're transitioning from one to the other.

00:16:29.420 We're just going to transition the economy into the Great Reset, right?

00:16:33.640 No, we reject that.

00:16:35.240 We reject the Great Reset.

00:16:36.820 But also understand what's happening.

00:16:39.380 The financial mismanagement of our elites for our country has led to this moment.

00:16:45.400 You might be saying, Poso, why does this matter?

00:16:47.540 It's even a big thing.

00:16:48.660 Who cares?

00:16:49.060 Saudi Arabia and China.

00:16:49.940 You know, what's the big deal?

00:16:50.940 Why does that matter?

00:16:51.860 Look, here's Jen Psaki. 1.00

00:16:53.760 They asked her about it.

00:16:54.560 She didn't even know what they were talking about.

00:16:55.740 Take a listen.

00:16:56.000 Thank you, Jen.

00:16:57.060 There's reporting that Saudi Arabia is considering accepting the yen instead of the dollar for Chinese oil.

00:17:04.200 Is the White House monitoring that possibility?

00:17:07.020 And has the administration communicated that there would be any types of consequences of that happening?

00:17:11.720 Let me check with the Treasury Department on it.

00:17:13.560 It's a good question.

00:17:14.140 I hadn't seen the report.

00:17:14.940 I'll check with them.

00:17:15.640 So we talked about this a little before.

00:17:16.920 Let me clue you in.

00:17:18.960 All right.

00:17:20.300 The U.S. dollar was taken off the gold standard.

00:17:23.000 Everybody understands that back in the 1970s.

00:17:24.960 But the piece that a lot of people miss is that the U.S. dollar is backed by something around the world.

00:17:33.040 It's backed by foreign oil sales.

00:17:36.680 What does that mean?

00:17:38.160 All foreign oil sales are conducted in a U.S. dollar basis.

00:17:42.840 That means when Saudi Arabia goes to sell oil to China prior to this, they first convert their money, the Riyadh, into the Riyadh, into U.S. dollars.

00:17:55.760 Then they do the sale, and then they make their oil shipment to China.

00:18:01.960 So that means there's always a foreign inflated demand for U.S. dollars.

00:18:07.720 There has been for 40, 50 years at this point.

00:18:10.380 It's the Bretton Woods system.

00:18:11.320 And so with bringing Venezuela online, with bringing Iran online, I guarantee you one of the things that the Biden administration is pushing them for right now is to say, continue to make these transactions in the U.S. dollar, even if you're not selling oil to us.

00:18:28.660 Because we're probably not going to buy oil directly from Venezuela or buy oil directly from Iran, because that's just politically untenable for the Biden administration, even for the neurotic millennials and West Wing LARPers that populate this White House.

00:18:41.640 But understand, that's only predicated on U.S. influence in the world.

00:18:45.400 We lose that, all of a sudden, the value of the money in your bank account goes up and up.

00:18:52.100 Or excuse me, the inflation goes up and up and up.

00:18:53.840 The value goes down, down, down, down, down.

00:18:56.720 Think of TVs, right?

00:18:58.660 We can afford cheap foreign imports because the value of the dollar is strong.

00:19:03.940 That diminishes, all of that goes away.

00:19:06.680 And the price of a TV is going to be like the price of a refrigerator.

00:19:10.440 Your costs are going to go up.

00:19:11.740 And like it or not, that is the future, the financial future of this country that you're hurtling towards, your children are hurtling towards, and your children's children are hurtling towards.

00:19:23.180 So all of the debt that we take on is going to be incurred by them.

00:19:27.380 Understand it.

00:19:29.420 Get you and your family and your financial future and your financial fortunes secured while you still can.

00:19:36.800 One group is not happy because they caught their leader.

00:20:00.000 The other two are saying, hmm, is there a vacuum in here?

00:20:03.420 Maybe we need to come in.

00:20:05.040 So there might be fights over a plaza because of what happened, capturing that high-ranking individual.

00:20:10.720 The videos that you just saw, that wasn't Ukraine, that wasn't Russia, wasn't Yemen or Syria.

00:20:18.100 That was Nuevo Laredo, just across the U.S. border with Mexico.

00:20:25.180 Because here's something that you don't hear about because our media doesn't talk about it.

00:20:29.720 Northern Mexico and many of the provinces there are engaged in an all-out war with the drug cartels.

00:20:37.600 It's the Mexican government, the federales, versus the drug cartels, and they've been engaged in this war for almost 15 years at this point.

00:20:45.080 Actual open warfare.

00:20:46.280 We're also getting reports that the U.S. consulate itself in that town came under gunfire this week.

00:20:54.280 The U.S. consulate, right?

00:20:56.880 Why did this happen?

00:20:58.560 Well, because this leader of the Cartel del Norte named El Juevo has been captured by Mexican officials.

00:21:07.920 And it may have been, the details on this are still kind of murky, but it may have been a joint U.S. and Mexican government raid that took him down directly.

00:21:16.660 But because his cartel forces are out there, they are responding.

00:21:20.380 You might remember that way down in southern Mexico, I think it was about a year ago, something like this happened, and it was the son of a cartel leader, I believe.

00:21:28.520 His forces came back, almost laid waste to the town, and then actually got the cartel leader freed from custody.

00:21:36.340 All of this is happening just south of the United States.

00:21:42.580 This isn't thousands and thousands of miles away.

00:21:44.760 This is right here.

00:21:45.960 This is our backyard.

00:21:47.260 This is our own hemisphere.

00:21:49.460 So while we're having these conversations about spheres of influence and territorial integrity and sovereignty and all of these questions, you've got to remember, you are being led down a primrose path by the mainstream media.

00:22:02.820 They're telling you to care so much about something that happens thousands of miles away.

00:22:08.140 And I do care about it, and you should care about it.

00:22:10.640 But understand that there is a system of priorities, and there is a hierarchy to this stuff.

00:22:18.620 And what do I mean by that?

00:22:19.820 And it may sound callous, and it may sound cold, and you may attack me for that.

00:22:22.780 But here's my question.

00:22:23.740 Here's my point, right?

00:22:26.180 This stuff, as a country, affects us directly.

00:22:31.280 The victims of this, you think these cartels don't operate north of the border?

00:22:35.560 Like, go watch maybe one episode of Breaking Bad, right?

00:22:39.720 Go watch Sicario.

00:22:41.120 Go watch Narco.

00:22:41.760 Any of that stuff.

00:22:43.340 That stuff is more real than most Americans want to admit.

00:22:47.480 Some of our biggest TV shows.

00:22:48.720 Yet, for some reason, the U.S. government and the media don't want to talk about it, don't want to do anything about it, don't want to get involved.

00:22:58.340 You don't hear these stories playing out every single night.

00:23:02.900 You know, which provinces are under control of which cartels, which leaders are taking over, which members of the families are working together.

00:23:11.700 Why is that?

00:23:12.380 Why is it that they want you so invested in something that has nothing to do with actual U.S. safety and security, but could have everything to do with their own elite interests?

00:23:26.280 All right, that is all the time we have here today, Human Events Daily.
