00:00:51.200 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily powered by
00:00:54.840 Turning Point USA. Today's top stories. Federal grand jury is investigating Hunter Biden,
00:01:00.800 his ties to Burisma, his ties to China and the CCP. We're going to break it all down next.
00:01:06.120 The president of BlackRock investment firm warns that an entitled generation needs to brace for
00:01:12.100 shock of shortages and higher failures. Fentanyl poisoning is now number one cause of death in
00:01:18.560 adults 18 to 45 in the United States. And finally, the pandemic era policy Title 42 is allowing
00:01:24.420 migrants to be turned away at the U.S.-Mexico border. It's going to end May 23rd. All this in
00:01:29.300 Morehead, Human Events Daily.
00:01:30.380 I get calls from my father to tell me that the New York Times is calling, but my old partner,
00:01:47.460 Eric, who literally has done me harm for I don't know how long, is the one taking the calls because
00:01:52.360 my father will not stop sending the calls to Eric. I have another New York Times reporter calling
00:01:58.900 about my representation of the literally Dr. Patrick Coe, the spy chief of China who started the company
00:02:11.960 that my partner, who was worth $323 billion, found it. It is now missing. The richest man in the world is
00:02:23.340 missing, who was my partner. He was missing since I last saw him in his $58 million apartment and signed a
00:02:31.380 $4 billion deal to build the largest LNG court in the world.
00:02:38.340 Well, that right there, and I mentioned about this yesterday, that's Hunter Biden. And what he's doing
00:02:44.340 is confessing. That's what we call a confession tape. He thinks he's venting. But, you know, as any
00:02:51.360 military interrogator will tell you, anything you can do to get your subject to open up and start
00:02:57.380 spilling the beans, right? You've got to use one of those emotional approaches. And in this case,
00:03:03.480 pride and ego are obviously direct triggers for Hunter Biden. And so what he's talking about there
00:03:10.220 are these dirty dealings that he's been doing, that have been going on for years. They're obviously
00:03:17.220 clearly tied to the family. And I think it's ridiculous that when you hear the Biden administration
00:03:23.340 talk about this, they say, oh, it has nothing to do with the president. It has no clue. Don't
00:03:28.620 really know. Understand how this worked. Hunter Biden was the bag man. He was the one who took the
00:03:36.740 money in for the family. The money came from various places. It may have come from China, the CCP. It may
00:03:43.780 come from Ukraine, Burisma. It came from the Moscow mayor's wife, Elena Batarina, $3 million, which later
00:03:51.560 turned into another investment. So understand his job, Kazakhstan, there's so many more we could get
00:03:56.680 into. But the point is, he was the bag man. It was family money. It was understood that way. And
00:04:02.980 there's other videos where he's complaining about how he's the only one in the family that makes all
00:04:07.720 the money and keeps the family going. Well, all of this, it turns out, is actually under federal
00:04:14.440 investigation in Delaware. And the heat is turning up because now that grand jury that's been seated in
00:04:20.600 Delaware with the federal prosecutors there, is bringing in interviewees, associates of Hunter
00:04:26.580 Biden, people who have come in to talk about his business dealings, and even talking about his
00:04:32.200 illegal drug use, which, of course, I've seen the laptop, unfortunately. And you can see his illegal
00:04:38.380 drug use and illegal drug use between himself, female partners, even with children in the very same
00:04:45.500 house. And they talk about the children being in the house in these videos. That, of course,
00:04:49.220 would be a state-level crime. So when it comes to what they're looking at, remember, just after the
00:04:58.060 election, Hunter Biden put out this statement that said, oh, there's a tax investigation going on. He
00:05:02.460 tried to say it was just about taxes. Well, it turns out it's not just about taxes. They're looking into
00:05:07.360 whether or not he violated the Farrah law. And what's Farrah? Well, we remember that from the Trump
00:05:11.680 era, right? The Farrah law was, are you operating at the behest of a foreign power without being
00:05:17.020 registered? And he clearly was in terms of the CCP-owned companies that he was involving in.
00:05:21.980 And he certainly was in terms of this Burisma company, which is directly controlled by elements
00:05:26.600 of the Ukrainian government, a state-owned enterprise. And so when you're looking at this
00:05:31.760 whole situation, this isn't just about taxes, right? This is about the whole thing. And it's also
00:05:36.620 about, by the way, the way that he moved his money around, the way that he got paid, right? That was a
00:05:41.900 huge part. I remember I covered every single day of the Paul Manafort trial back when it was held
00:05:48.540 over in Virginia. And they dug through how the payments were coming. To remember, Manafort was
00:05:54.240 also working for the Ukrainians. He was working, but he was being paid by Ukrainian oligarchs through
00:05:58.640 accounts in Cyprus. And then he wasn't paying his taxes on them. Same deal with Hunter Biden. He was
00:06:04.240 obfuscating the way the money was coming in. He wasn't paying taxes. He was, and here's the key
00:06:09.780 difference. Here's the absolute key difference. Hunter Biden was lobbying the federal government
00:06:15.540 on behalf of Burisma, so on behalf of Ukraine, while his father is the vice president of the
00:06:23.820 United States, who we also know had a direct role in choosing and firing people who were at the highest
00:06:32.740 levels of the Ukrainian government. So we understand the corruption. We see the corruption.
00:06:36.820 Let's wait and see if anything actually happens. Because as we know, if your name is a Biden or a
00:06:45.180 Clinton, you seem to always escape justice.
00:06:50.580 Well, the president came out recently and told us that we were going to face food shortages. And when
00:06:56.780 the president tells you that you're going to face that, it is time to act. Go immediately now to this

00:07:49.560 a backup for your family's survival. That's preparewithposo.com. Go today. Take action.
00:07:55.220 Well, behaviors are going to have to change, and this is one thing we're asking companies.
00:08:02.320 You have to force behaviors, and at BlackRock, we are forcing behaviors.
00:08:06.840 Well, that was the CEO of BlackRock, Larry Fink, telling us how he believes his firm is job. The role
00:08:15.820 of his firm isn't to make money for his investors or to manage wealth properly. No, no, no. His job
00:08:22.860 is to force behavior, right? Now, we've got the president, the co-founder of BlackRock,
00:08:28.460 coming out also saying, Rob Capito, saying,
00:08:32.040 an entitled generation needs to brace for the shock of shortages and higher inflation,
00:08:38.020 as experts warn Americans will pay an extra $433 a month for basic goods this year.
00:08:45.460 So, understand what we're getting into. This is the highest middle-class tax rate, tax raise,
00:08:53.040 that this country has seen in 40 years. That's what this inflation is. And keep in mind,
00:08:59.360 the inflation is on you. The inflation is on your family. The inflation is on working families.
00:09:03.960 It's not on Larry Fink, right? It's not on him. It's not on BlackRock. It's not on these guys.
00:09:08.680 No, no, no, no, no, no. Here's the way the money printer works. I said it before. I'm going to say
00:09:14.780 it again. The people who benefit the most are the people closest to the king at the expense of those
00:09:25.300 who are furthest away from the throne. What does that mean? They print the money. It used to be,
00:09:31.300 right? Go back to France, medieval France. This is where this came up. And in medieval France,
00:09:35.760 when they would discover a new gold mine, it wasn't the people who lived around the gold mine
00:09:40.300 that benefited. No, no, no. What would happen was the people closest to the king would get access
00:09:45.960 to the new gold first. Then they would use that to go out and make purchases, expensive purchases
00:09:52.320 around the world, around the country. And then that would drive prices up for everybody else,
00:09:59.300 for the people furthest away. But it didn't matter to the people who got the gold first because
00:10:03.740 they were the ones that were driving the inflation, right? That's how inflation works.
00:10:08.000 So with money printing, it's the exact same thing. We're hearing stories now, by the way,
00:10:13.640 that some of the moves that Russia is making to raise the price of the ruble to stabilize it,
00:10:20.320 it's almost back. The ruble is almost now back to pre-war levels. What does that mean? Well,
00:10:26.120 number one, that means the sanctions are a complete failure. But also number two,
00:10:28.900 what are they doing with the ruble? Well, they've said they want oil payments to Western Europe to
00:10:33.740 be done in rubles. And they also said that they're looking at pegging the ruble to gold.
00:10:38.000 That means moving away from debt-based currency and moving back essentially to a gold standard,
00:10:45.240 or at least some kind of mix of a gold and oil standard there. We don't do that in the United
00:10:50.080 States. We do stuff like this. We print money like crazy. We give it to people like BlackRock. The Fed
00:10:56.260 gives it to people like BlackRock. Of course, Ron Paul talked about this for years and years and
00:11:00.980 years. Heed my warning, right? But we didn't. And now when BlackRock turns around and says,
00:11:07.660 oh, you have to deal with inflation, he says, it's your fault. He says, you just need to suck it up.
00:11:15.640 You just are too entitled. You're selfish. You're spoiled. I'm sorry. Look, who are you talking
00:11:21.700 about that's selfish and spoiled? The people who can't afford to buy a home, the people who can't
00:11:26.900 get jobs, the people who went through the financial crisis of 2007, 2008, have no wealth formation.
00:11:33.180 They're putting off family formation. They're not able to get access to homes. That's not their fault.
00:11:39.800 That's the fault of Larry Fink's generation. That's the fault of Joe Biden's generation. That's the fault
00:11:46.520 of the generation before. And I'm just saying it. I'm just saying it. The decisions, not everybody in
00:11:51.340 the generation. Come on. I'm not like that. But I'm saying the decisions made by the decision makers
00:11:56.200 have created economic consequences downstream of the people who are benefiting on this. The exact
00:12:04.860 same way that in medieval France is called the cotillion effect. You can look this up.
00:12:09.800 That the people closest to the king were the people who benefited most from the new gold. That's what
00:12:15.620 we're seeing here. And that you hear this attitude of it's not our fault. It's your fault. Well, of
00:12:22.660 course, you're still going to be rich. Capito, by the way, an estimated net worth of $400 million
00:12:27.920 and made $24.6 million in total compensation in 2020. What did he say? I would put on your seatbelts
00:12:36.640 because this is something we haven't seen, said Capito, who blamed a shortage of workers,
00:12:40.860 energy and agricultural supplies for soaring scarcity inflation. Now, he's certainly right
00:12:47.000 in terms of the supply side on energy, right? So I'm with him on that, obviously. But the shortage
00:12:53.520 of workers is because people are checking out of this crooked system. They're saying they don't
00:12:58.460 want a part in this. They can see that it's a scam. They know that they're being scammed and they know
00:13:03.340 that they're being screwed and they're done with it. They want out. This is why, you know,
00:13:08.160 the whole meme stock and the apes and the ape army, you know, AMC and GameStop and all the rest.
00:13:14.300 That's why that exists. That's why all of that exists, because they're sick and tired of the
00:13:18.860 hedgies. They're sick and tired of the people who are milking the system and milking future generations
00:13:24.460 by putting America more and more into debt. Because that's what that is, by the way.
00:13:30.120 Inflation is a tax. It's an invisible tax. You don't even know because the dollar amount,
00:13:36.180 you know, your bank account stays the same. But the ability of you to purchase more with that
00:13:41.740 money changes. It's one of the most insidious taxes, and it's incredibly duplicitous. So shame
00:13:49.620 on you, BlackRock, for blaming people for your own actions.
00:13:53.960 So I was visiting with some friends last week, and we were talking about this new issue,
00:14:02.320 the parallel economy. We were talking about canceling and the way companies are out there
00:14:06.560 talking about freezing the people's bank accounts, you know, over political views, supply chain issues,
00:14:12.140 talking about people who are using their money to fund this woke nonsense that people don't like.
00:14:17.860 Obviously, we've been talking about in terms of Disney lately, and if you've been following Chris
00:14:21.220 Rufo and everything, he's saying. But then we were saying, is there a way for us to get a list
00:14:26.280 of companies in the country or in our local areas that actually do support the things that we like
00:14:32.160 and do support the things that we want? Well, that's when we found out with Public Square.
00:14:36.880 And that's why I'm also proud to partner with Public Square, the largest directory of freedom
00:14:41.260 loving businesses our nation has ever seen. What it is, it's an app, you can simply go to the
00:14:46.020 Google Play Store, the App Store, you download it, you have a free account. And whether you want to
00:14:49.520 support, you know, a restaurant that only buys from local farms or a coffee shop that took a
00:14:54.160 stand against COVID mandates or a bank that wouldn't cancel you, it's so easy to use this
00:14:58.060 thing. It's a guide. It's a directory. You download it today, Public Square. So you just go in your
00:15:02.840 App Store, you download it, Public Square. It is the easiest and best app to get. And understand
00:15:07.760 that this needs to be a new parallel economy. Stop giving money to people who hate you. Go and download
00:15:15.580 Public Square. Judge Jackson, before you granted this fentanyl kingpin's motion to reduce his sentence,
00:15:23.720 did you contact any of the victims from his case? Senator, thank you for allowing me to
00:15:30.800 address Mr. Young's situation. I asked a simple question. Did you contact the victims in his case
00:15:37.860 or not? Senator, Mr. Young was not released. His sentence was reduced. And I did not contact the
00:15:46.020 victims in his case because there were no victims. He committed a crime, a drug crime. There were no
00:15:54.140 identifiable victims in his case. Drug crime is not a victimless crime. A hundred thousand Americans
00:16:01.800 were killed by overdoses. Understood. So that's Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas
00:16:05.940 grilling Tonji Brown Jackson, the nominee for Supreme Court. She'll probably be confirmed here
00:16:11.280 in a couple of weeks or so to take her role in the Supreme Court. But he's grilling her not on the
00:16:16.780 question of child pornography. And we've talked about all of those cases in great detail, but he's
00:16:22.240 talking to her about fentanyl. And this is actually something where, and it amazes me, right? You know,
00:16:30.360 we live in a society where we're so heavily propagandized. We get as much propaganda in the
00:16:36.200 United States as North Korea does today, right? Top-down, intelligence agency-driven, government-driven
00:16:42.440 propaganda. What do I mean by that, right? You know, stand with Ukraine billboards everywhere.
00:16:47.640 Get vaccinated everywhere. So you're constantly getting this propaganda. Yet at the same time,
00:16:53.760 there's things going on in our own country that we're not talking about because they don't fit one of
00:16:58.580 these various narratives. And one of those is the fact that here in the United States, and Cotton
00:17:02.980 just mentioned it, we actually just hit an all-time high, higher than ever, of overdose deaths in the
00:17:11.320 United States. All time. We're also seeing massive rises in violent crime, insane amounts of violent
00:17:18.380 crime in our city, senseless violence, people getting killed for literally no reason, right? People taking
00:17:24.080 the streets and just shooting each other up. I went to school in North Philadelphia. I would not set foot
00:17:28.980 in North Philadelphia on my life. And you better believe I'm not taking my family up there. And one
00:17:34.240 of the reasons, specifically on that case of overdoses, is because of fentanyl. And because fentanyl is so
00:17:41.020 incredibly potent and so incredibly lethal. It's essentially, it's almost like a poison. It really is
00:17:46.780 almost like a poison. And what is, what's happening though, is because you're getting so many of these
00:17:50.360 street drugs and street versions of synthetic drugs, you know, street versions of oxycodone or
00:17:54.940 oxycontin or something. And they'll call it the opioid crisis, opioid crisis, opioid crisis. But
00:17:58.840 they're not talking about fentanyl. They're not talking about the idea that this stuff is being
00:18:02.620 churned out in Chinese biolabs. Can't talk about the Ukrainian biolabs, but maybe we could talk about
00:18:08.020 the Chinese biolabs, the drug labs, where they're putting together this fentanyl. Then it's being shipped
00:18:12.960 to the cartels because, of course, you know, they're making so much more money off of this because
00:18:17.040 it's just profit for them. And then it comes straight to the United States. This change has
00:18:21.540 been going on for years now, and it's had, it has hit a peak. And yet when we have, we're in an
00:18:27.720 election year right now, right now is an election year. We don't talk about it. There's a place in
00:18:31.840 Philadelphia near where my brother used to live. It's called Kensington. And in that area of Kensington,
00:18:38.560 that's where the overpass is for the L. So the overhead L is there and market Frankfurt line. And
00:18:44.280 underneath that overpass, and you see videos of this going viral on social media of what looks
00:18:52.380 like some kind of blown out zombie apocalypse kind of scene. And the locals call it Kensington
00:18:59.700 Beach. Why do they call it Kensington Beach when it's not near the beach? Well, because the junkies
00:19:05.680 will be in there, will be using so many drugs, essentially an open air drug market, and then
00:19:11.160 they'll be laid out on the ground, whether they're overdosing or just, just high on fentanyl.
00:19:18.640 And it looks like you're at the beach. That's how crazy, there's, there's, you know, Instagram
00:19:22.340 accounts where you can go look this stuff up. Absolute levels of depravity that are going on in our
00:19:26.900 society. These are American citizens, by the way. This isn't a foreign country. It's not 5,000 miles
00:19:31.280 away, right? It's right here. It's right here at home. But we don't talk about it. Doesn't lead the nightly
00:19:37.940 news, right? 100,000 deaths. American civilians killed in one year over this from poison. You
00:19:49.700 know, they buy on social media, they buy on Snapchat, they think they're getting some, you know, designer
00:19:53.540 drugs, something synthetic, and they don't know that it's being cut with fentanyl. And that stuff
00:19:58.300 will kill you. Killed Michael K. Williams. Are we actually going to do something serious in this
00:20:05.380 country about this? We're going to be stuck following these propaganda campaigns forever.
00:20:13.740 Is the Biden administration prepared to deal with the aftermath of ending Title 42 and the expected
00:20:19.720 influx of migrants? So first, what I would say is that this is a decision that we have long deferred
00:20:26.800 to CDC. Title 42 is a public health directive. It is not an immigration or migration enforcement
00:20:32.760 measure. So the decision on when to lift Title 42, we defer to the CDC. That being said, of course,
00:20:40.480 we are planning for multiple contingencies. And we have every expectation that when the CDC ultimately
00:20:46.700 decides it's appropriate to lift Title 42, there will be an influx of people to the border. And so we
00:20:52.940 are doing a lot of work to plan for that contingency. Well, there you have the Biden administration,
00:20:56.940 their new spokeswoman talking about the end of Title 42 protections. You know, it's kind of interesting
00:21:02.220 that Press Secretary Jen Psaki has been noticeably absent for the last couple of days. You know,
00:21:08.540 one thing that I am hearing from the White House is that she is potentially looking to jump ship to a
00:21:14.780 mainstream media network. And she hasn't decided which one she wants to go to yet, but is in talks and
00:21:21.480 has had contact with various networks talking about coming on either as an analyst or commentator or
00:21:27.860 maybe even eventually hosting her own show. So we'll see if that happens. But congratulations to
00:21:32.920 Jen Psaki if she does end up making that move. However, I don't know if these new spokespeople
00:21:39.480 are doing the work, as they say, as Kisaji Brown Jackson likes to say. They're not doing the work
00:21:44.540 because they say, oh, well, we might just get an influx once Title 42. So what is Title 42? We've heard
00:21:50.380 about this a lot. And it's kind of a misnomer because it sounds like it's a legal protection,
00:21:55.440 but it's not legal protection like Title IX or something. It's a public health order. So it's
00:21:59.820 a public health order that was signed and put in place essentially similar to an executive order
00:22:05.520 from March of 2020 by the Trump administration. What it did was it allowed for the rapid expulsion
00:22:12.100 of migrants from the United States when they're encountered at the border coming across illegally
00:22:16.620 by Customs and Border Patrol, CBP, in order to protect the United States during the pandemic.
00:22:23.440 Now, keep in mind that all the other pandemic restrictions are still in place from the
00:22:28.060 Biden administration. They haven't dropped any of those. So their official stated purpose is that
00:22:33.880 we are still, their position is that we are still in a pandemic. So if we're still in a pandemic,
00:22:38.240 then why are you dropping a public health order? But on the flip side of that, let's look at the
00:22:43.100 actual numbers. We are right now on pace to hit 150,000, they counted it as migrant encounters
00:22:51.920 by the CBP per month. 150,000 people coming across the southern border per month. That's not
00:22:59.080 sustainable. That's not sustainable for any country, anywhere in the world. Every country in the world
00:23:05.060 would not be able to have 150,000 per month coming across. Work that out per year. And the number
00:23:10.360 is going up. They're on pace right now with Title 42 in place to hit 200,000, according to the latest
00:23:18.440 CBP estimates, per month coming across the border. That's double the amount that I just said were
00:23:24.520 killed because of overdose every year. You can't do that as a country. You can't just allow that many
00:23:30.540 people in all the time. It just doesn't work. It doesn't work. And now if they're going to take
00:23:34.880 Title 42 off, that means that they don't even have the ability for expulsion. And keep in mind,
00:23:40.600 their position legally is that we're still in a pandemic. So my question is, when you've got gas
00:23:47.180 prices going and exploding the way they are, when you've got crime going up, overdoses going up,
00:23:52.720 why does it seem like they don't actually care about securing the people of the United States,
00:23:59.420 the people of this country, they're doing the right thing for them, and they care so much about everyone else?
00:24:08.260 Well, that's all the time we have here, Human Events Daily. Today, remember our promise, our oath,
00:24:12.240 our solemn vow to you. Be good, be brief, be gone. And remember, your homework for us. Share this out

00:24:22.700 wherever you go, it actually really helps us out. What did we talk about today? The federal grand jury.
00:24:26.740 New details on this investigation into the Hunter Biden payments from overseas. Next,
00:24:32.760 the president of BlackRock warning that the entitled generation needs to brace for shortages
00:24:37.680 and inflation. Yeah, because who's buying up all the houses? That's right, BlackRock is.
00:24:41.680 Fentanyl poisoning. Now, the number one cause of death in adults between 18 to 42. I guess the
00:24:47.200 mainstream media doesn't really care about that one. And finally, Title 42 border protections
00:24:50.780 are ending on May 23rd. But before we go, it's time for today's history break.
00:24:56.320 Today, in 1968, President Lyndon Baines Johnson, LBJ, gave a speech about the Vietnam War,
00:25:03.420 incredibly unpopular war that the U.S. chose to be in, announcing that he would not run for
00:25:08.560 re-election. Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
