00:00:25.780 The Poso Daily Brief.
00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning
00:00:34.300 meets fifth-generation warfare.
00:00:41.300 A commentator, international social media sensation,
00:00:45.560 and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:48.040 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:51.120 Christ is king.
00:00:52.700 President Trump is the friend of the forgotten American.
00:00:57.420 Obesity is a disease of poverty.
00:01:00.000 And these drugs have only been available for people who have wealth.
00:01:05.020 What about the people in urban areas who live in food deserts and are suffering from obesity
00:01:10.280 and are locked into that system where they can only get ultra-processed foods,
00:01:16.020 which are aggravating the problem?
00:01:18.560 This will be a lifesaver to them.
00:01:20.640 Mayor Mamdani is saying that if the state doesn't tax the rich,
00:01:24.280 they'll have to raise property tax here in the city.
00:01:26.420 In laying out his $127 billion fiscal plan that, despite the gap, increases spending by over $14 billion,
00:01:33.740 the mayor offered a strategy that offers Governor Hochul and state lawmakers a Hobson's choice.
00:01:38.940 Either pass election year tax hikes on the rich and corporations, or he will raise property taxes on everyone.
00:01:45.200 All right, take a look at this. This is bizarre.
00:01:47.180 Allison Pabson over at Fox 5 DC with this.
00:01:49.420 18-year-old Cardo Camacho of Smyrna, Georgia,
00:01:52.820 arrested after running toward capital with a loaded shotgun.
00:01:57.080 Iran's supreme leader is throwing threats around
00:01:59.500 as nuclear talks with the US resume,
00:02:02.380 but Tehran still won't meet Washington's core demand
00:02:05.540 to stop enriching uranium.
00:02:07.920 Now, the White House is giving Iran two weeks to close the gap,
00:02:11.060 but Trump's also ramped up military pressure in the region.
00:02:14.320 I think the president has a lot of options.
00:02:16.120 We do have a very powerful military.
00:02:17.560 The president's shown a willingness to use it.
00:02:19.420 He also has a remarkable diplomatic team.
00:02:21.720 He's shown a willingness to use that, too.
00:02:23.380 And so what the president has been very clear with the Iranians, and actually I just talked to Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner this morning about some of their negotiations, is the United States has certain red lines.
00:02:33.100 Our primary interest here is we don't want Iran to get a nuclear weapon.
00:02:36.460 We don't want nuclear proliferation.
00:02:37.800 If Iran gets a nuclear weapon, there are a lot of other regimes, some friendly, some not so friendly, who would get nuclear weapons after them. 0.52
00:02:44.340 That would be a disaster for the American people because then you have these crazy regimes all over the world. 0.81
00:02:49.420 with the most dangerous weapons in the world. And that's one of the things the president has said
00:02:53.020 he's going to prevent. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events
00:02:59.120 Daily. We're here live, Real America's Voice. Today is February 18th, 2026. Anno Domini.
00:03:07.720 Is war with Iran imminent? Well, as we've been reporting for the last couple of weeks,
00:03:13.920 We know that the president's team is meeting with Iranian diplomats and Iranian team up in Geneva right now.
00:03:21.860 That's Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner. They're there on the scene.
00:03:25.660 But what do we also see on the ground?
00:03:27.600 We see massive naval artillery and massive naval armadas on the way to the Middle East, to the Persian Gulf,
00:03:38.600 two aircraft carriers in the vicinity, as well as a number of options for the president should
00:03:46.480 he choose to launch a bombing campaign of Iran. We know that Israel has been putting pressure on
00:03:54.320 the administration saying that they want to see a bombing run done on Iran's ballistic missile
00:04:01.100 capability. This, of course, coming on the backs of those widespread protests that took place in
00:04:05.880 Iran, which, of course, were in response to the maximum pressure campaign. This idea that if you
00:04:13.120 can hurt Iran's military, if you can hurt them economically, that it will lead to people, it will
00:04:19.280 lead to pain in the streets, and that will lead to people coming out against the regime. With those
00:04:24.800 protests, that's largely what was seen. People were protesting because of the economic conditions
00:04:31.600 on the ground. But again, when you look at the amount of material, not only in terms I mentioned
00:04:37.620 the Navy armada, the naval armada that was sent over, but also in terms of the air assets that
00:04:43.460 the president is sending over that are currently in route. And if you look at just some of the
00:04:48.200 stuff that you can find in open source reporting, you can see the tactical refuelers, the air to
00:04:53.380 air refueling, much of the same type of equipment that was used in Operation Midnight Hammer was
00:04:59.680 also being being sent over to the Middle East yet again. Put out a question earlier today. I said,
00:05:07.580 this is my this is my email, you know, 1776 at humanevents.com, 1776 at humanevents.com.
00:05:14.560 Question of the day. And the question of the day was, should the United States embark in a war
00:05:19.940 with Iran this year? Should we conduct another military campaign with Iran? And the emails are
00:05:26.840 coming in i'll just pick a few that have been sent to me uh first one is from int in pennsylvania
00:05:33.220 says absolutely against it next one from nate says war with iran clearly is not in our best
00:05:39.160 interests i'm in the midwest i've seen zero appetite for it absolutely zero this one from
00:05:45.200 alex yeah i believe we should do something but it should have been done weeks ago when we still had
00:05:50.120 the faith of the iranian citizens we will face much more headwinds toppling the regime and
00:05:55.040 replacing it with a U.S.-friendly leader if they believe we abandon them to their oppressors
00:05:59.620 after promising delivery. He goes on. Long email. You guys send the best emails. This one from
00:06:06.400 Lavana. Anyone advocating to leave the Islamic regime in place after the 47-year history of them 1.00
00:06:13.440 is a fool. If they ever have a chance to nuke America or hit us with ballistic missiles, they 1.00
00:06:17.800 will. This one in from Robert. Wow. This is incredible. I live in the UAE. I'm a U.S.
00:06:24.180 citizen. I've been associated with the region
00:06:26.180 since 1971. My first visit to
00:06:28.280 Iran was in 1971
00:06:29.880 during their
00:06:31.160 2500th anniversary.
00:06:34.860 I saw with my own eyes while doing
00:06:36.280 some sport fishing near the Strait of Hormuz,
00:06:38.240 the Marine Corps vessel ordered by Carter
00:06:40.040 to rescue the embassy
00:06:42.160 hostages. I watched in horror later on
00:06:44.220 television, the crashed helicopters, shocked
00:06:46.340 and embarrassment for that folly. 1.00
00:06:48.140 Many Iranians fell 1.00
00:06:50.120 for the lies. I hope 1.00
00:06:52.100 The current U.S. administration will show the world again who we are and what we stand for. 0.99
00:06:57.160 I am MAGA, but I know if the U.S. doesn't kick some butt, our butts will be kicked by the world. 0.99
00:07:02.340 I hope that Trump can delay the book of Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation and kick butt. 0.98
00:07:07.200 So getting a lot of emails in here, 1776 at humanevents.com. 0.93

00:08:10.060 That's right now.
00:08:10.820 It's often how scammers decide who to target and often how identity fraud starts.

00:09:10.180 And we have our next guest lined up.
00:09:12.760 And I'll take a pause on the emails right now.
00:09:16.120 But I'm going to get back to them because these are just incredible.
00:09:18.740 I love interacting.
00:09:19.700 And you guys are so fired up on this.
00:09:21.360 And you can see that there is a wide range of opinions in that 2024 coalition on whether or not the United States should do this.
00:09:31.040 Some people say, well, you know, Trump ran on peace, so he needs to stick with peace.
00:09:35.940 He can't start new wars.
00:09:36.960 Other people saying this, you know, a limited operation, something like that would be in the good of the world and for the good of the United States.
00:09:44.760 Again, we're just we're we're getting everything.
00:09:46.800 We're getting everything. And we, by the way, are going to report everything at the same time.
00:09:52.320 We are not going to sit here and tell you, you know, what we're supposed to say or something.
00:09:57.520 No, I don't get talking points from the admin or anything like that.
00:10:00.660 That's not what's going on here.
00:10:02.200 What's going on here is we're going to give you the truth about what people are saying.
00:10:06.840 And in order to also provide some ground truth, I want to bring on a good friend of mine, a friend of the program.
00:10:13.460 It's Tom Sauer, U.S. Navy EOD veteran and someone I served with in the Navy.
00:10:20.340 What's up, Tom?
00:10:21.600 What's going on, brother? Good to see you again.
00:10:24.780 Good to see you again as well.
00:10:26.560 So, Tom, what I want to get into on this is, you know, you're someone who served in combat.
00:10:31.660 You're someone who served overseas when we're looking at the potential for what looks to me like like we could be seeing a bombing run come up on Iran, another bombing run.
00:10:44.040 But perhaps more now with the nuclear sites already being neutralized, this one predominantly looking at ballistic missile sites, you know, enemy radar sites, of course, coming off the backs of the successful Maduro raid, that special forces operation, possibly some special forces action on the ground.
00:11:04.140 What do you think that the American people should be looking for from the military side if it does seem as though President Trump gives the green light to this operation?
00:11:14.040 Well, I think we're seeing a lot of it right now, like seeing all the tankers, the cargo flights heading over there.
00:11:20.040 I mean, it's really we all know that it's all about logistics and getting the infrastructure there.
00:11:24.080 I think that tells us a lot that and I'm not saying that any sort of strike is imminent, but also this is part of a negotiation and us letting Iran know that, hey, we're willing to talk with you in Geneva.
00:11:37.060 right but at the same time uh we've got carriers you know steaming in you know the ford uh carrier
00:11:43.420 strike group so they need to know that bluffing isn't happening now now we can all remember
00:11:48.140 throughout the years where we say there's a build-up in iran it's going to happen this time
00:11:51.700 and then for some other reason or another it doesn't really happen um but also it's key really
00:11:56.320 key to point out that like that you know trump's strength when we talk america first and peace
00:12:01.300 through strength it's the strength is really through deterrence and not entanglement so you
00:12:06.800 know, it's not about boots on the ground and on Tehran or anything like that. And you know that's
00:12:12.380 true because you're not seeing major troop movements heading over there, right? This is
00:12:16.320 primarily air and naval assets. So it's also about forcing any sort of zero enrichment or anything
00:12:22.620 like that. And like no more, you know, Iraq style, you know, forever moves. And I think when we're 0.72
00:12:28.820 talking about, hey, now is like the best thing for them, as Trump would say, would be a regime
00:12:33.240 change. The thing is, it's only going to be if the Iranians do it themselves. Now, do we have 0.97
00:12:38.180 assets that are probably in Iran? I don't have any special information, but I'd be really surprised
00:12:42.900 if we didn't. And we're backing, that's backing proxies, that's cyber operations like we did
00:12:48.920 that supported the Venezuela operation. And, you know, hey, maybe we let them rise up like in 79,
00:12:55.800 but smarter. And the thing is, is the neocons out there, they're the ones that they want us
00:13:00.740 finishing this mess, but Trump's not going to play with that. And I'd say that diplomacy
00:13:04.860 is going to be dead if the Iranians decide to cheat again. The Geneva talks might be a nice 1.00
00:13:10.820 photo op, but enriching uranium all the time, it's like, hey, if they walk or if they bluff or if
00:13:16.300 they cheat, then that means we should probably strike them hard to let them know that we're not
00:13:20.840 messing around. That means hitting what's left of their nuclear program, all their missile sites, 0.95
00:13:27.020 and then possibly pull back, but not any sort of occupation or anything like that.
00:13:31.680 So, I mean, those are some of the big ones.
00:13:33.280 But I got to keep in mind that, like, yeah, there are risks with this. 0.93
00:13:36.980 But I think us showing complete and total weakness to Iran is actually far more dangerous. 0.80
00:13:44.360 Well, and of course, look, this is that comes off the backs of the Venezuela operation as
00:13:48.580 well that President Trump oversaw.
00:13:50.800 I mean, they just saw the entire world just saw Maduro get pulled out of his bedroom in
00:13:55.160 the middle of the night by United States Special Forces and essentially just frog marched all the
00:14:01.920 way back to the waiting helo and then off to a naval asset and then to Washington, eventually
00:14:10.020 New York City. So the idea, I think, here is that Trump's looking to run the table. I think that's
00:14:16.140 the way that I look at this. He's coming off of that. He's saying this worked really well.
00:14:19.800 Operation Midnight Hammer worked really well. Let's go see if we can roll the dice again and
00:14:24.660 take another bite of one of the problems that he views as something that he can really take
00:14:29.640 off the table. And again, this I'll put this, you know, just my analysis of where I think the
00:14:35.040 president's coming from is that he really does view this as a threat to world stability. He
00:14:39.420 views this regime as a rogue regime. He views their power, their influence as a maligned influence
00:14:44.500 in the region and wants to take them off the table. He's he's meeting with the board of peace
00:14:50.180 tomorrow. I'm going to be at the meeting of the board of peace tomorrow. So I think he's he's
00:14:54.600 signaling the intention. But Tom, to your point, I think it's these red lines that we keep being
00:14:59.700 told about when it comes to enrichment, when it comes to various programs that they have,
00:15:03.760 that if they don't want to meet the red lines, if they don't want to meet what President Trump
00:15:08.280 is saying at Geneva, then he's showing very clearly that he is willing to swing the stick.
00:15:14.580 Absolutely. And the thing it comes down to, like, hey, this is Trump playing the game of
00:15:19.160 negotiation, but with a big stick behind it, right? So it's threatened big,
00:15:24.600 but negotiate bigger. And if Iran folds, then that means that we've been without firing a shot 0.74
00:15:30.480 or hardly any shots, right? And if they don't, you know, then if they don't fold, we can surgically 0.96
00:15:35.720 end their program with no trillion dollar quagmire and hundreds of thousands of innocent
00:15:40.820 people killed or thousands of Americans killed. And which I think that's really the true Trump
00:15:46.360 America first foreign policy. I think that's a really important aspect of all this. I do agree
00:15:51.880 with you that we could be seeing a maybe Maduro-style operation, but not the same because
00:15:58.060 Iran is a much larger country than Venezuela in many ways in terms of its government, its
00:16:04.040 infrastructure, et cetera. 0.57
00:16:05.540 I'd be very surprised if there was some midnight raid and we'd go ahead and steal Khomeini 0.90
00:16:10.080 in the middle of the night. 0.70
00:16:10.780 But I see that us actually hitting them with their military sites, completely weakening
00:16:16.880 them, and also hitting some of the government infrastructure, government buildings, strikes
00:16:20.480 against decapitation strikes against leadership that could happen but always remember though is
00:16:24.660 there's still risk to this there's a very real risk you know iran could hit our bases uh they
00:16:30.760 you know before uh we destroy theirs they could attack us elsewhere in the world via proxies
00:16:36.600 but the real problem is hey if we have a nuclear iran and look we don't know how far they way or 0.94
00:16:42.200 far away they are for a program you know israel of course is going to say it's going to happen
00:16:46.720 next week or something like that, like they usually do, we don't really know the answer. 0.96
00:16:51.700 But I mean, right now, I feel that there are, this is a big risk that we're taking here,
00:16:55.700 but it feels that inaction or sticking only to diplomacy is riskier than if we are forced to
00:17:03.620 take some sort of action. I really do hope that the Iranians see the writing on the wall 0.50
00:17:07.760 and they back down or fold or take a deal. I think that's better for ever. It's better for 1.00
00:17:14.020 the Iranian people, it's better for the 1.00
00:17:15.660 individuals in the Iranian regime 1.00
00:17:18.140 because they probably don't want to get 0.94
00:17:19.760 hell-fired themselves, and it's better for
00:17:21.900 America, it's better for the region, better for the world
00:17:23.700 if we actually just force them
00:17:26.080 to some sort of a deal
00:17:28.140 or they're walking away from
00:17:30.260 the regime or some sort
00:17:32.220 of their option, because again, it's America
00:17:34.100 first, but it's peace through strength,
00:17:36.080 and strength also means deterrence, not
00:17:38.220 foreign entailments, not
00:17:40.080 boots on the ground. I don't think there's any serious
00:17:42.280 person saying that.
00:17:44.020 Yeah. And the one thing I'll throw out as well is, as we know that, you know, we know that the administration is trying to pivot towards economic issues.
00:17:51.280 You know, this is an area, right? You get a flare up in the Middle East. That's going to do what is going to drive gas prices through the roof.
00:17:57.260 And that's certainly something in an election year that I don't think any administration is going to is going to want in, regardless if you're Republican or Democrat.
00:18:04.680 This, of course, as we know, is what threw Jimmy Carter out of office in the 1970s when he had the original the original Gulf crisis.
00:18:13.120 So, you know, a lot to look at in terms of this. And to your point as well, I think I think President Trump and a lot of people in the administration are looking at this, knowing knowing the the story and the legacy and the aftermath of Iraq, Afghanistan, saying, look, the boots on the ground option is not an option anybody wants to get into.
00:18:34.200 Tom Sauer, I want to say thank you for joining us.
00:18:36.520 I know it was a short notice, but we threw this in
00:18:38.460 because we saw what was going on in the Middle East
00:18:40.460 and wanted to get some expertise on this.
00:18:42.600 Where can people go to follow you and see what you're up to?
00:18:45.480 You can always find me at Thomas B. Sauer,
00:18:48.700 T-H-O-M-A-S-B-S-A-U-E-R on X.com.

00:19:49.700 single box. We're talking about a family-run American company which roasts fresh coffee

00:21:16.580 now to our emails we're also looking at this um you know we're seeing by the way uh a new axios
00:21:24.120 is coming out. Huge report saying that Trump is very close to ordering a military strike on Iran.
00:21:29.140 A Trump advisor says the boss is losing patience. I think there's a 90 percent chance we'll see
00:21:34.960 military action against Iran in the coming weeks. Washington sources say that this would be a joint 0.99
00:21:39.940 U.S.-Israel campaign lasting weeks, quote, more like a war and, quote, completely different than
00:21:45.840 the Venezuela scenario, quote, more significant and closer than the American public believes.
00:21:52.620 President Trump out with a new tweet right now,
00:21:55.020 blasting Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
00:21:57.240 He's talking about what?
00:21:58.820 Diego Garcia.
00:22:00.040 Why does this matter?
00:22:01.400 Well, guys, I wish I had set this up.
00:22:04.660 So Diego Garcia lies in the Indian Ocean,
00:22:08.580 but it's almost, it's like south of the Persian Gulf.
00:22:12.700 And so it is within range of long-range military strikes
00:22:18.420 for what?
00:22:19.360 B-2 bombers.
00:22:20.120 for long range bombing runs into the Middle East.
00:22:23.840 So Diego Garcia is a place where those bombers can be run.
00:22:28.760 However, the UK, which controls Diego Garcia, is currently looking at giving it away.
00:22:34.040 They're going to give away Diego Garcia, which, of course, would affect what the UK base there
00:22:39.560 and the ability for the United States to stage their air assets there.
00:22:44.060 So President Trump very upset about this.
00:22:45.880 And here's what he's saying, that the island, Prime Minister Starmer is losing control of this important island by claims of entities never known of before.
00:22:54.960 In our opinion, they are fictitious in nature.
00:22:58.100 Should Iran decide not to make a deal, it may be necessary for the United States to use Diego Garcia and the airfield located in Fairford to order in order to eradicate a potential attack by a highly unstable and dangerous regime,
00:23:11.400 an attack that would potentially be made on the UK as well as other friendly countries.
00:23:15.880 So he's describing Iran as a hostile actor here.
00:23:19.140 Prime Minister Stommer should not lose control for any reason of Diego Garcia by entering a tenuous, at best, hundred-year lease. 0.84
00:23:26.840 This land should be not taken away from the U.K., and if it's allowed to be, it will be a blight on our great ally.
00:23:31.820 We will always be ready, willing, and able to fight for the U.K., but they have to remain strong in the face of wokeism and any other problems put before them.
00:23:38.800 Do not give away Diego Garcia.
00:23:41.440 And of course, the U.K. made the disastrous mistake in the 1980s, which was codified in
00:23:46.340 1997, of giving Hong Kong over to the Chinese Communist Party, which, again, is a blight
00:23:53.820 on British history. 0.94
00:23:54.960 It's a blight on the history of humanity.
00:23:56.760 It should never have happened. 0.97
00:23:57.860 It should never have rewarded the Chinese Communist Party by giving Hong Kong back over to them.
00:24:02.300 And you've seen the way that the CCP has treated the people of Hong Kong ever since.
00:24:06.840 You appeased Beijing.
00:24:09.200 You appeased the Chinese communists. 0.88
00:24:10.580 And how did they repay you with more communism? 0.96
00:24:13.660 And by the way, they broke every single promise that they made to the UK.
00:24:18.780 What would they do with Taiwan? 0.91
00:24:20.060 The exact same thing. 0.78
00:24:21.060 But of course, AOC doesn't know anything about that because so she would not be able to talk 0.79
00:24:24.640 about that in a smart way if she were asked about it off the cuff.
00:24:32.120 Let's see.
00:24:33.160 Wow.
00:24:33.680 Here's an email that came anonymously, but hey, it says, hi, I'm currently an ISC.
00:24:38.360 So that's an intelligence specialist chief in the Navy.
00:24:40.580 My answer is this to the backbone of the Navy. Don't really care.
00:24:44.820 I've been in for 21 years. Straight GWAT vet. No, for a fact, Iran is guilty.
00:24:48.140 GWAT was a lot of BS. This is more straightforward. Hopefully more free tax money. 1.00
00:24:53.000 Have a great Navy day. I'm getting this one in from Lawrence.
00:24:56.560 Hello. Not a single American should be put in harm's way.
00:25:00.100 America is being overrun by third world colonists. There are no tech jobs available. 1.00
00:25:04.760 Housing prices are out of control. College graduates with STEM degrees can't get jobs in their fields.
00:25:09.940 inflation is running rampant has anyone in the cabinet seen the price of milk or a pound of 1.00
00:25:15.200 ground beef we can't even arrest and deport somalian fraudsters fry and waltz with the help 0.96
00:25:20.200 of i can't say that word on air an orc army cub uh curb stomping ice um we need to prosecute the 0.81
00:25:30.820 members of the epstein client list and yet um and yet people associated with this list like
00:25:35.680 Les Wexmer and Larry Ellison and many others, et cetera, et cetera, are trying to push for
00:25:40.900 many people to die for their foreign policy delusions.
00:25:44.980 AHS, I'm probably going to stay home for the midterms.
00:25:47.980 I can't bring myself to vote for another time for this administration.
00:25:51.860 But if they attack Iran, I might just vote for the Democrats so we can burn the whole 0.94
00:25:55.660 thing down and rebuild from the ashes. 0.85
00:25:57.540 OK, that's from AHS.
00:25:59.100 Here's one in from Chase.
00:26:00.660 This is terrible.
00:26:01.460 The country's going to hell in a handbasket.
00:26:03.280 Rick, I don't think it will be a war. 0.72
00:26:04.780 I think it will be like Iraq in 1991.
00:26:07.340 So again, we're getting this from all across the entire spectrum.
00:26:10.520 These emails are incredible.
00:26:12.020 Here's one from Lynn.
00:26:13.820 This is incredibly volatile situation.
00:26:16.280 I don't want to put our soldiers in harm's way.
00:26:18.240 My ex-husband spent two and a half years in Iraq and our three kids suffered, as did I.
00:26:23.040 However, I believe the Persian people have suffered for two generations or being slaughtered by the IRGC.
00:26:28.140 So for humanitarian reasons, we should help.
00:26:30.720 We're the only ones who can help free these people.
00:26:33.140 Now, with that said, where do Russia and China stand on this?
00:26:36.540 To me, that's a bigger question.
00:26:37.920 We don't want to fight either of those powers.
00:26:39.900 I'm glad I don't have to make the decision.
00:26:41.480 It's a very tough one, but I keep thinking of these poor people suffering, though.
00:26:45.120 So, guys, you know, this is just, it's across the gamut.
00:26:48.000 You guys are fired up over this.
00:26:49.620 I love seeing these emails.
00:26:51.080 I love hearing from you guys.
00:26:53.100 I love hearing from doing this.
00:26:54.220 We're going to do more of these, by the way.
00:26:56.620 1776 at humanevents.com.
00:26:58.720 Please, please continue sending in your emails.
00:27:01.840 right back, Human Events Daily.
00:27:07.520 Where's Jack? Where's Jack? Where is he? Jack, I want to see you.
00:27:16.900 Great job, Jack. Thank you. What a job you do. You know, we have an incredible thing. We're
00:27:22.080 always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys who'd
00:27:26.880 getting policies. President Trump is the friend of the forgotten American. Obesity is a disease of poverty.
00:27:56.880 And this is for the questions that don't have any answers
00:28:20.720 The midnight glancers and the topless dancers
00:28:23.360 The gander freaks, cars packed with speakers
00:28:26.000 The Gs with the 40s and the chicks with beepers
00:28:28.700 The northern lights and the southern comfort
00:28:31.260 And it don't even matter
00:28:32.420 Where's Ken? 0.95
00:28:33.140 All the crackheads, the critics, the cynics
00:28:36.680 And all my heroes at the methadone clinics 1.00
00:28:39.320 All you bastards at the IRS 1.00
00:28:41.520 For the crooked cops and the cluttered desks 1.00
00:28:44.440 For the shots of Jack and the caps a mess
00:28:47.000 Half pints of love and the fifths of stress 0.99
00:28:49.680 For the hookers all drinking out in Hollywood 0.93
00:28:52.100 And for my hoods of a world misunderstood 0.95
00:28:54.680 All right, Jack Posobiec, we are back here, Human Events Daily.
00:29:13.940 Wanted to take a second to bring on our assistant secretary of health, who I got to meet at
00:29:20.020 some of the HHS meetings earlier this month. Huge guy explaining Maha, bringing the Maha agenda
00:29:28.240 to the American household and to, of course, everyone's dining room table. It's Dr. Brian
00:29:35.280 Christine. He joins us now, the Assistant Secretary of Health. Dr. Brian, how are you?
00:29:40.900 I'm great, Jack. I hope you're doing well today. Happy Ash Wednesday. I love the fact that you
00:29:45.880 have the ashes on your forehead i'm going to service and going to mass after i get off today
00:29:50.120 but it's great to be here with you well phenomenal and i think it's a day where we're all christians
00:29:55.560 just you know just just mount up and throw throw them up there and get it out and that's you know
00:29:59.740 that's what's really about you know when you look at maha too that's what it's all about it's about
00:30:03.360 taking what you believe and actually putting it into practice and that's what hhs is really
00:30:08.980 pushing for i know you guys have of course a lot of this new media that's coming out the kid rock
00:30:13.820 videos. And, you know, they asked me to be in that, but I was going to do it. But, you know,
00:30:18.460 I just I, you know, my schedule is a little busy. You know, I couldn't make it when they were
00:30:22.900 shooting. You know how it is. I gotcha. I gotcha. Well, Secretary Kennedy, I tell you, there's no
00:30:28.460 one like him. That is a man who lives the lifestyle that he advocates for. He eats in a
00:30:35.220 healthy way. He exercises. He's outside. Listen, he is for all of us Americans. He wants to make
00:30:41.200 America healthier than we've ever been. He's leading the charge. And so talk to us about this
00:30:48.600 new real food initiative, of course, working with Mike Tyson as well and other celebrities. I mean,
00:30:54.380 Bobby Kennedy, of course, himself, Secretary Kennedy is a celebrity in his own right,
00:30:57.860 in his own right. But what is the push when it comes from a policy perspective
00:31:03.220 that people can expect to see? Yeah, our message is simple. Under Secretary Kennedy
00:31:09.000 And under Secretary Rollins, we work together to develop our new dietary guidelines.
00:31:14.120 But our message is simple.
00:31:16.400 Eat real food.
00:31:18.160 Avoid highly processed, ultra refined carbohydrates and food.
00:31:22.720 Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
00:31:25.400 Reduce sugar.
00:31:26.460 Avoid sugar, especially in our kids.
00:31:28.520 Avoid added sugar.
00:31:30.000 That's our message.
00:31:30.980 It's a simple message.
00:31:32.180 But if you eat this way, if you approach nutrition this way, then you're going to have a healthier
00:31:37.640 lifestyle.
00:31:38.400 but you're also have a more affordable lifestyle.
00:31:41.760 The message is simple, but the effects are profound.
00:31:46.480 And it's, it's really as, as, as smart as that. And so, you know, Dr. Brian,
00:31:51.340 I say Admiral Brian, I should say, as far as the,
00:31:54.060 the commissioned us public health service,
00:31:56.760 that one of the things that we also see this,
00:31:59.640 this is something that I talk about with my wife all the time.
00:32:02.360 And you actually got to meet her at one of the public receptions that was
00:32:05.960 being held down at HHS. She comes from Eastern Europe. They don't talk about farm to table to
00:32:12.020 them. That's just food. They don't do processed food the way that we do. And so for her,
00:32:17.040 she came to the United States as a teenager and said, you know, I love the United States. I love
00:32:21.560 the freedoms that I have here, but what is going on with the food? No, my wife is from the United
00:32:28.020 Kingdom and she will say similar. Listen, the truth of the matter is prior food guidance,
00:32:34.340 prior food pyramids really were built upon the highly processed, the ultra refined fruits,
00:32:40.940 the sugary foods, the sugary cereals. What we've done is we've taken that pyramid and we've really
00:32:46.360 flipped it on its head. And so what we are emphasizing is real food. We're emphasizing
00:32:51.360 protein, nutrient dense food, like protein from fish, from eggs, from beef, from poultry,
00:32:58.720 from seafood. We're emphasizing that you need healthy fats. You need some saturated fat in
00:33:04.840 your diet. You shouldn't be afraid of that. That's healthy. And we say carbohydrates should
00:33:09.480 come in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables. Again, this is the kind of food that our body
00:33:14.840 craves. It's the kind of food that we were always meant to eat, except that our guidelines had
00:33:19.980 really been captured by corporate America. The guidelines previously were guaranteed to put
00:33:24.940 money in the pockets of the corporations, but they weren't guaranteed to make Americans healthier.
00:33:29.780 With our guidelines, we've placed America and Americans first. These are a seismic shift,
00:33:35.040 but they make complete sense. Well, I've got to ask, too, that, you know, we've all heard the
00:33:41.000 story about how that original pyramid that got rolled out in the 1980s was really constructed
00:33:46.700 by the lobbyists, by the food industry. You know, when it came to this time around, what kind of
00:33:51.820 pressure. Can you guys tell us what kind of pressure did you guys at all come under from
00:33:56.100 industry when you really worked to just flip the whole thing? Right. Well, the leadership of
00:34:01.320 Secretary Kennedy and Secretary Rollins at USDA, strong leadership going forward. They were told
00:34:08.180 by the president, we have a mandate from the people. The people want us to make America
00:34:12.340 healthier than we've ever been healthy again. And the dietary guidelines are an important part of
00:34:17.660 that. And so what we did is we marched ahead with science. Science supports our guidelines.
00:34:24.580 The best science there is. Support our guidelines. And we marched ahead and we knew, yes, there would
00:34:29.180 be pushback. But listen, we were bold. We were strong. We moved ahead under their leadership.
00:34:33.640 And now we have dietary guidelines and an approach to nutrition that truly are gold standard. These
00:34:40.240 are the best thing I've seen. And listen, I'm a surgeon. I've practiced for over three decades.
00:34:44.240 I know the results. I know what happens with obesity in this country. Every time I took a
00:34:50.160 patient to the operating room who was obese, I knew there was a greater risk of death and
00:34:54.220 complications because of their obesity. And I knew their obesity was at least in part because of poor
00:35:00.420 dietary guidance. These guidelines, like I said, are a seismic shift. If we eat this way, we're
00:35:06.020 going to be healthier. And again, this is a more affordable way to eat. The leadership of Secretary
00:35:10.740 Rollins, Secretary Kennedy, and of course, President Trump has been rock solid.
00:35:16.160 Well, and one of the keys here as well, and when we had Casey Means on, this is a big piece of it
00:35:22.320 as well that we talked about, is working with some of the big partners out there, not just the
00:35:27.780 companies, but working with the government, particularly, by the way, the military. Look,
00:35:31.960 I can remember being in the Navy and eating on ship or eating on base. When you look at those
00:35:37.120 meals, those purchases, what goes into them, the guidelines that go in. This is actually a place
00:35:42.500 where the federal government can make direct changes, isn't it? That's exactly right. So
00:35:47.680 the guidelines and the recommendations for better nutrition that we put out,
00:35:52.260 these affect Americans at large. However, they also have a direct effect, like you've said,
00:35:57.380 on how we feed our warfighters. The guidelines are going to dictate that. They have a direct
00:36:02.900 effect on how we feed our children in schools. The guidelines will have will guide that as well.
00:36:08.420 So, yes, these guidelines have far reaching effects in this country. You know, when you look at the
00:36:13.980 guidelines, I told you that we emphasize protein. We emphasize healthy fat. We say fresh fruits and
00:36:20.780 vegetables. If you look at what's going on in our economy, food prices under President Trump are down
00:36:26.820 across the board. Eggs are so much less expensive now than they were a year ago.
00:36:31.420 poultry less expensive fruits and vegetables and seafood less expensive if you eat per our
00:36:36.840 guidelines listen i've done the experiment we've looked at it it will put money in the pocket of
00:36:42.600 the average americans these guidelines are more affordable they're healthier they are exactly what
00:36:47.740 america needs and and when you look at that look i'm i'll just say it you know my family's been
00:36:53.880 noticing as well my wife has been noticing it as well food is starting to taste better out there
00:37:00.040 Um, it's, it's just got this quality to it that you're starting to see just little bit by bit
00:37:06.640 that actually is richer. It's more nutrient dense that people, I believe that that's in part do
00:37:13.460 not just to the federal government pressure, but also I think to the public awareness campaigns.
00:37:17.700 And, you know, people can, you know, laugh at some of the videos that go out, but they're
00:37:21.600 actually highly effective when it comes to that. So I were just about out of time, Dr. Brown,
00:37:26.760 But I have to ask, when will you be doing your workout video with Secretary Kennedy?
00:37:32.960 Listen, I am ready to do that anytime.
00:37:35.840 I would love the chance to work out with the secretary.
00:37:38.780 He is an inspiration to all of us here at the Department of Health and Human Services every day.
00:37:43.140 But I would love to do it.
00:37:44.480 I'm sure I'm sure he'll whoop up on me, as we say in Alabama.
00:37:47.480 But listen, I welcome it.
00:37:50.080 God bless, Admiral.
00:37:51.080 Happy Ash Wednesday to you as well.
00:37:52.460 Thank you so much for joining us here on Human Events Daily.
00:37:54.820 Thank you so much, Jack, and bless you and bless our president, Secretary Kennedy, and
00:37:58.720 bless the country.
00:38:00.540 God bless.
00:38:01.200 Amen.
00:38:01.520 Right back, Human Events.
00:38:08.980 Jack is a great guy.
00:38:10.500 He's written a fantastic book.
00:38:12.220 Everybody's talking about it.
00:38:13.400 Go get it.
00:38:14.520 And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
00:38:18.500 And we're going to turn it around and make our country great again.
00:38:21.660 Amen.
00:38:24.160 All right, Jack Posobiec here, back live, human events, daily.
00:38:30.480 Folks, I got to tell you, you know, and I will tell you, pay attention to what is happening
00:38:34.980 with the dollar debt and central banks.
00:38:37.300 It's all piling up.
00:38:39.120 And when things get rocky, gold has always been the safe haven.
00:38:42.500 And when wars and rumors of war come, gold is not just defensive, it's an offensive asset.
00:38:48.340 That's why I've been working with my partners over at Allegiance Gold for the past three
00:38:51.960 years.
00:38:52.180 They help you protect your savings and your retirement with real physical gold and silver, not paper promises.
00:38:57.920 And now Allegiance Gold is making it even better.
00:39:00.800 They will donate 1% of qualified investments from this audience to Turning Point USA or another great America First organization.
00:39:09.800 In addition to the 1% you already qualify for.
00:39:13.360 So you can protect your wealth and support the movement at the same time.
00:39:17.040 If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it.
00:39:19.160 Don't overthink it.
00:39:20.040 Don't wait until it's too late.
00:39:21.180 See what's going on with gold today.
00:39:23.420 And we know, just go look, folks, as gold is now back over 5,000 as reports of a potential military strike, another military strike, or a bombing campaign in Iran are imminent.
00:39:37.860 Call 844-577-7676 or visit protectwithposo.com.
00:39:43.120 That's 844-577-7676, protectwithposo.com.
00:39:48.080 protect your future and stand with me fighting for America. By the way, I wanted to get you guys
00:39:53.780 this this map and we're working on pulling it up exactly where Diego Garcia Island is to give you
00:40:00.860 a sense of where it is that we're talking about, what it is that we're getting into in terms of
00:40:05.860 all this. We're working on pulling that up because it is important, right? Maps cut through the
00:40:10.580 rhetoric. Why does this island matter so much? Why is President Trump tweeting about it? Why does it
00:40:15.560 You know, why does it matter? This is why, by the way, the chief of the Israeli home front command major.
00:40:21.060 Oh, wait, there it is. There's the map, actually. So blame the last. Here's here's the map.
00:40:24.980 So if you look at the red dot, the red arrow, that is where Diego Garcia Island is.
00:40:30.480 It is currently in control of the British, which allows the U.S. basing rights there.
00:40:36.800 Then if you look at it, it's like I said, it's not directly south of the Gulf.
00:40:40.700 But, you know, in relative terms, it's much closer than the United States and it allows because even though it is over two thousand nine hundred miles away from Iran, that is still within range, especially if you use those mid air refuelers still within range for long range bombers to be based in Diego.
00:41:02.060 right where that arrow is, fly the 2,900 miles north, be able to conduct air strikes and then
00:41:09.000 turn around. They may need one refueling within time and then make it all the way back. And of
00:41:16.160 course, we saw that. And then you could have sustained runs. You could have all sorts of
00:41:21.060 optionality for the president for these strikes. That's why the president is tweeting about Diego
00:41:26.280 Garcia right now. And so it's why you think one of these little islands out there in the middle
00:41:30.940 of nowhere it might be might be a place like oh i don't know the name of guam or it might be the
00:41:35.220 name of diego garcia or midway or the philippines or hawaii suddenly can become extremely important
00:41:44.800 for military air operations if you understand it's all about logistics logistics logistics
00:41:50.740 this is also why by the way puerto rico became a u.s territory because of naval logistics for
00:41:57.240 naval assets, those patrols in the Caribbean Sea and the now Gulf of America.
00:42:02.940 I want to go back to your emails because they are so good.
00:42:06.000 But before I do, I promise you this breaking update.
00:42:09.160 So word out from the chief of the Israeli Homefront Command, Major General Shea Kalper.
00:42:16.080 We are preparing for a large multi-front scenario, multi-front.
00:42:21.380 So potentially, you know, looking at something that could be more than just Iran.
00:42:25.720 If you're talking about multi-front or perhaps would they consider Iranian proxy, southern Lebanon, going back to those elements of Hezbollah that are there, again, Shia militias in Iraq, a lot of different potential that could mean.
00:42:39.680 So that's the word that we're getting right now out of Israel.
00:42:43.440 uh it's interesting tucker just seeing this headline tucker carlson is claiming that he
00:42:50.760 was detained in israel dragged into an interrogation room uh and claims that this
00:42:58.020 happened following an interview with mike huckabee so more to come on that i have no idea
00:43:04.360 what that means and in fact the last i had heard that he had left israel so perhaps this uh perhaps
00:43:10.860 this happened before all of that took place so again i promised you guys the email 1776
00:43:17.060 at humanevents.com 1776 at humanevents.com a little bit of housekeeping so tomorrow
00:43:23.000 um just come out and say it i will be traveling with the president all day tomorrow at the
00:43:30.380 board of peace meeting as well as traveling with him down to georgia where he's expected to speak
00:43:37.400 on economic issues, but of course, you know, if more military issues do come up, if he does
00:43:44.060 decide to make a decision with Iran, perhaps we may get a speech regarding that as well. So I'll
00:43:51.080 be in and out of Human Events Daily as best I can. I'm not going to try to leave you guys hanging,
00:43:57.200 so we're going to bring on some incredible support from some folks that are in the family,
00:44:02.820 but of course, I'll be able to come in as best I can. But of course, you know what the
00:44:07.220 president's travel with his schedule. It's always as literally up in the air. But we'll give you
00:44:13.840 guys the latest from inside the room where I will be one of the only people in terms of new media
00:44:21.460 allowed in the room during the private part of the Board of Peace meeting tomorrow morning,
00:44:27.520 Washington, D.C. at the Institute of Peace. We'll get back to these emails and keep sending them
00:44:32.540 in. We're going to read them. We're going to keep going them through them. Here's one from
00:44:37.200 Kimberly in Michigan. She says, Hello, Jack. No, I don't think we should get involved in Iran. We
00:44:42.560 need to worry about our home. There's too much going on in this country. This one from Matthew,
00:44:49.860 who says he is a Christian author, pastor, and servant. I wanted to write in to share that I
00:44:55.700 believe the buildup in Iran is prophetic to Ezekiel 38 and 39. See, the nations mentioned
00:45:01.400 that Ezekiel mentioned in the picture below. He's got an attached picture. I see. I believe
00:45:06.640 the Lord is about to move very soon. And I believe that we are fully in a pre-tribulation
00:45:12.120 rapture and this is pre-tribulation dispensation theory and believe that all of the military
00:45:19.420 buildup is exactly as foretold. And of course, we talked about that in our Tales of Regime
00:45:24.340 Change series with Joshua Lysak. Dear Mr. Posobik, I am an Iranian citizen who strongly
00:45:29.740 opposes war and military escalation. The financial, human and social cause of conflict
00:45:36.260 are immense, and they are born almost entirely by ordinary people, not by political actors.
00:45:41.760 I'm also concerned with certain opposition movements that appear to prioritize foreign
00:45:45.900 support over domestic legitimacy. Political change that depends primarily on external backing
00:45:51.340 risks undermining national sovereignty and public trusts. History shows that such arrangements
00:45:57.240 often serve external interests more effectively than the needs of local populations. So he's,
00:46:03.460 You know, really talking about how the Iranian people should determine the future of Iran.
00:46:08.880 And of course, when we look at the history of regime change in Iran done going going back to the United States, getting rid of the Shah, going back to the British and British petroleum and everything that happened there years even before that, you really get this sense of when you push for a regime change.
00:46:30.300 I'll say this. When you push for a regime change, you never know what's going to happen on the other side.
00:46:36.780 This has been the story of regime change from every single one that we've looked at.
00:46:43.760 Does it get better? Does it stabilize the situation?
00:46:47.100 I'm not saying that it can't.
00:46:48.840 What I'm saying is you can't determine that and you can't know that.
00:46:52.980 Nobody can know that.
00:46:54.100 So going into one of these things, that's absolutely something that needs to be measured.
00:46:59.620 And I trust the president to measure those things and to understand those things.
00:47:04.700 He's seen the Iranian people.
00:47:05.940 You've seen his tweets about this, his support for the Iranian people.
00:47:09.620 He's also, of course, looking at the situation through a lens that we don't all have.
00:47:14.720 And so when he makes his decision, and of course, based on what we're seeing, it does
00:47:19.560 seem like his decision is either is going to be imminent one way or another and really
00:47:24.700 contingent on these Geneva deals.
00:47:27.440 So, folks, please keep your emails coming and we are going to read them.
00:47:30.800 We're going to pass them on wherever we can.
00:47:32.940 As you know, I mentioned I'll be spending the day with the president's team tomorrow from the White House en route to the Board of Peace, as well as down to Georgia.
00:47:45.660 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, if you have my permission, lay ashore.
