00:00:00.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth-generation warfare.
00:00:13.200 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:19.900 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:22.880 Christ is King!
00:00:24.540 ladies and gentlemen welcome on board today's edition of human events daily we're here live
00:00:30.940 on real america's voice and we're very excited to go now and to dr peter navarro just finished up
00:00:40.480 an incredible marathon to our show all about his new book why fouchy must rot in prison he joins
00:00:51.480 is now on Human Events Daily from the Rav D.C. mothership.
00:00:56.540 Dr. Navarro, how are you?
00:00:58.120 Pozo, great to be with you.
00:01:00.060 I want to thank Real America's Voice.
00:01:02.360 We've made this like why Fauci must rot in prison day.
00:01:06.980 If you go to Amazon today, buy the book on Amazon.
00:01:12.800 You can send an email with your proof of purchase to books at americasvoice.news, books at americasvoice.news.
00:01:20.880 And I'll send you a nice little book plate with a signature and personalize it to you.
00:01:26.140 I know you've signed many books, Jack, and book plates are the way to go.
00:01:30.900 Oh, I play that game.
00:01:32.020 But what we want to do here is just talk about, I think, accountability.
00:01:37.560 What I'm trying to do with Tony Fauci is hold him accountable for all the crimes he committed against people.
00:01:46.300 And I'm telling you, Jack, if you just go back and listen to that show for the last two hours, it's like person after person after person losing their mother, their father, themselves getting vaccine injured, just looking for hope.
00:02:04.340 And my estimate, and I think it's a conservative, there's got to be at least over a million
00:02:12.600 Americans are still afflicted with the long COVID and the vaccine injuries.
00:02:18.660 In the book, Why Fauci Must Rot in Prison, I do have a couple of chapters where people
00:02:25.940 can go and find a national network, which will then find them a doctor in their local
00:02:32.380 community, which can help them do some testing and then maybe do some treatments. But it's all
00:02:39.600 about Fauci. And what's amazing about this book, Jack, is what I do is I take the diary of Tony
00:02:48.840 Fauci, 1,100 pages of Tony Fauci, and I compare what he wrote in private to what he said in public.
00:02:55.500 for example in private he acknowledged that women in their first trimester could suffer miscarriage
00:03:05.140 in public he told those very same women that the vaccine was safe and oh by the way if you don't
00:03:12.040 get it you could lose your job did the same thing for young men okay acknowledged significant risk
00:03:19.860 of myocarditis what's that inflammation of the heart in public he said everybody gets the jab
00:03:26.640 including young children and over and over you see in private him acknowledging things and in public
00:03:38.480 saying just the opposite he was told jack january 28th 2020 dawn of the pandemic dawn of the pandemic
00:03:46.560 He had 12 scientists tell him that that virus was from the Wuhan lab.
00:03:55.920 And weeks later, some of those scientists wrote a paper that Fauci paraded in the Brady
00:04:05.100 press room at the White House, said, see, it's from nature, didn't say he had anything
00:04:10.560 to do with prompting that paper, didn't say he funded the lab in Wuhan.
00:04:14.800 total cover-up. So we got the cover-up, the obstruction of justice, and the real people
00:04:21.700 he caused miscarriages of and long COVID of and everything in between. This guy, Fauci, Jack,
00:04:29.920 must rot in prison. At the end of the book, I show how the case can be made at the state level,
00:04:37.160 In Florida, in Texas, in Kansas, in Louisiana, to put that SOB behind bars for the rest of his life and take all of the money that he earned falsely off the backs of the American people and recover that in restitution. 0.72
00:04:56.680 well that's that's incredibly here and i think it's something that that people do want because
00:05:02.520 i was just over at the university of chicago on friday uh speaking with the chicago thinker did
00:05:07.780 event with tim pool and all the gang over there and that was the one of the main things that we
00:05:13.080 heard from the student body when they came up and folks came out to the event they kept asking
00:05:18.200 where's the accountability where's the accountability seems to me like going after
00:05:22.640 of Dr. Fauci and having him rot in prison would be an example of that. Yeah. And there was a lot
00:05:28.320 of sentiment, Jack, during the phone calls that that was too good for him. Somehow, somehow we,
00:05:35.080 we need to do better than just let them rot in prison. You know, doctor, doctor, everyone knows
00:05:39.940 what, uh, what, uh, we just did have Pete Hegseth on the program last week and he was outlining
00:05:44.800 another possible, uh, uh, uh, punitive measure that, uh, everyone certainly talked about. He
00:05:51.440 broke that news here on Human Events Daily. So I suppose there are other options. I believe
00:05:55.320 Mr. Bannon has also mentioned a few. But Peter, tell us again, just in the last minute, where
00:06:00.020 could people go to get the book and if you're still doing the giveaway? So the ask here is
00:06:05.200 go right now to Amazon, buy Why Fauci Must Rot in Prison, then take your proof of purchase,
00:06:11.940 email it to books at americasvoice.news, email your proof of purchase to books at americasvoice.news.
00:06:20.480 And we'll send you a nice signed, personalized book plate with your name on it or anybody's name you want on it.
00:06:29.340 And you'll get a free subscription to the sub stack as well.
00:06:32.540 And what I'm hoping, Jack, with this book, it's not about making money.
00:06:36.180 It's about building political will to get this guy.
00:06:40.340 Thanks for having me on, Jack.
00:06:42.140 Keep doing what you're doing.
00:06:43.140 Simple as that.
00:06:43.880 Doing the yeoman's work.
00:06:44.980 Dr. Peter Navarro.
00:06:46.480 Why Fauci must rot in prison.
00:06:49.140 Right back, Jack Posobiec, only on Real America's Voice.
00:07:00.160 Jack, where's Jack?
00:07:03.000 Where's Jack?
00:07:05.100 Where is he?
00:07:06.360 Jack, I want to see you.
00:07:10.020 Great job, Jack.
00:07:11.500 Thank you.
00:07:12.220 What a job you do.
00:07:13.680 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:07:15.040 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad,
00:07:17.140 But we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting policies.
00:07:24.220 All right, folks, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard.
00:07:27.200 We are back here, Human Events Daily.
00:07:29.900 By the way, since we're saying welcome aboard every day here on the program,
00:07:33.620 I'd be remiss if I did not say happy birthday to my beloved United States Navy, 251 years young.
00:07:44.040 That's right, because while the United States is in the 1776 business, the United States Navy is in the 1775 business.
00:07:52.700 The United States Navy actually predates the founding, or at least predates the Declaration, predates the Declaration as it says.
00:07:58.980 So, fair winds and following seas to all of my Navy shipmates out there today, happy birthday.
00:08:06.820 Folks, let me tell you something, though.
00:08:08.960 Some stories never see headlines until we bring them to light.
00:08:12.040 and after a long day, I'm ready for a good night's sleep. You probably know the feeling,

00:08:59.220 All right, we're very, very excited to have on our next guest.
00:09:03.740 He is Representative Bill Shute out of the great state of Michigan.
00:09:09.080 Who's Representative?
00:09:09.680 How are you?
00:09:10.720 Hey, thanks for having me on the show.
00:09:13.380 Absolutely.
00:09:13.960 And I understand you're also a prior intelligence officer, I should say.
00:09:18.960 Yep.
00:09:19.280 I worked as an intelligence officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency.
00:09:23.260 We did some mutual time at Joint Base Anacostia Bowling in D.C., but I also supported a special
00:09:30.500 forces unit in Mexico and a counterterror task force in the Middle East.
00:09:36.220 So it was an honor to give back to my country in that way, for sure.
00:09:40.020 No, good times. Absolutely. I definitely remember some of those old DIA days over at JBAB with all the Marine One flying over every time you're trying to go get lunch or something. But absolutely great stuff. Now, when we're looking at the midterms, we're looking at the great state of Michigan.
00:09:58.160 There's a lot of people talking about Rogers and El-Sayed and talking about how Saeed, they think, has this inside track.
00:10:06.380 However, I've noticed, and perhaps you could give us a sense of this as well, that it seems like Woke 1 and Woke 2 are not exactly talking to each other because apparently it turns out that Saeed is having some problems in Wayne County with the African-American population.
00:10:24.060 Some of the Hispanic population isn't interested up there.
00:10:26.320 Are you seeing that on the ground? Are you hearing these things as well?
00:10:30.100 Definitely hearing that. And there was actually a colleague of mine in the state house who started the Democrats for Mike Rogers.
00:10:39.100 She's a Democrat state representative who represents the city of Detroit.
00:10:43.940 And she was the one of the first candidates to come out and say, Abdul Al-Sayed is not going to deliver for the city of Detroit and for our community.
00:10:54.020 And I heard anecdotally from a candidate running down in Detroit that they're seeing a lot more Mike Rogers yard signs than they've ever seen in the city.
00:11:05.080 So I think from both information and an experience, it's a serious issue for the outside campaign.
00:11:14.140 Well, that is serious because you're talking about a block of really potentially important swing voters there.
00:11:20.140 Why is it that you suppose that you're seeing that, you know, is it the far left politics?
00:11:25.320 Is it because keep in mind, this Wayne County, that that's the county he's from.
00:11:28.880 He was he was, you know, the county health director there or something.
00:11:33.380 Yeah, no, no. I mean, that's where his only public service experience has been in Wayne County.
00:11:38.100 And that should tell you something when those are the same voters he's having difficulty to win over.
00:11:42.740 And and listen, you know, there's not going to be a Republican who wins the city of Detroit.
00:11:47.220 But Democrats normally win that city with 80, 90 percent. If if Mike Rogers, like like Trump did in the last election, can can lose by less because of some of the serious issues that he's having with with those voters, that's going to make a difference.
00:12:02.040 And frankly, it's it's not that hard to see why, you know, Abdul El-Sayed, he can't define what a socialist is, but he also can't define what a woman is.
00:12:11.240 And that's something that really doesn't resonate in the city of Detroit and in Wayne County, where, you know, people don't want to have biological males playing in women's sports.
00:12:19.800 do you think it's something where the type of politics that he's embraced and really this
00:12:25.920 and for him specifically because he came up sort of as an influencer so much
00:12:30.020 in that far left space it just doesn't connect with voters oh you're you're absolutely right
00:12:37.040 and i mean there is a a lot of tape on abdul al-sayed saying a whole bunch of crazy things
00:12:43.080 uh whether you know it's uh you know his friendship with hassan piker who thinks that
00:12:48.340 America deserves 9-11. Or a lot of these voters in Wayne County, they're UAW Democrats who've
00:12:56.220 worked really hard for their very good health care coverage that they have, and they don't want that
00:13:01.700 eliminated by Abdul El-Sayed's plan for a government takeover of our health care system.
00:13:07.280 I mean, we've seen with El-Sayed, he will say one thing one day, one thing the next. He's willing
00:13:14.440 to go to any lengths to try to win this campaign.
00:13:17.160 But voters, I think, are seen through that.
00:13:20.460 That seems exactly right, because at the end of the day, what I've come from Pennsylvania,
00:13:26.220 but I, you know, I see Rust Belt votes do kind of travel in similar patterns, is that
00:13:31.520 people want to know, what are you going to do to make my life better?
00:13:35.760 People are going to say, what are you going to do to help me?
00:13:38.560 What are you going to do to help us with jobs, whatever it might be?
00:13:41.920 Obviously, economic issues take the front, but it seems as though he is having a lot of trouble running away from these past statements.
00:13:49.120 Yeah, you're absolutely right, because, you know, if you're frustrated with the price of gas, if you're frustrated with the price of groceries,
00:13:55.140 every single policy that Abdul El-Sayed has proposed will make those issues worse.
00:13:59.580 Right. If we ban natural gas, if we eliminate, you know, any type of fracking from the, you know, United States energy grid,
00:14:08.480 That means our gas prices are going to go up.
00:14:10.340 That means your home heating prices are going to go up.
00:14:13.080 And the, you know, really far left crazy ideas you have is going to mean trillions in dollars
00:14:18.460 in new taxes.
00:14:19.300 And I think, you know, most families in Michigan are looking for ways for the government to
00:14:24.680 take less of their paycheck, not send more to Washington.
00:14:29.960 And what are we seeing now is, of course, we just got the news that in response to this,
00:14:35.720 And of course, you know, we must be in trouble because they're dusting off Barack Obama and sending him up to Michigan to campaign with him. 0.93
00:14:42.740 Yeah, it's a it's it's pretty funny because, again, this is the most hypocritical candidate in the history of the state of Michigan. 0.60
00:14:50.140 He's on record talking about how bad of a president Obama was, how he let down the progressive movement, how he was a failure as a president.
00:14:57.280 And now he's trying to embrace Obama because he's realizing he has a serious issue with voters in the city of Detroit where Obama is popular.
00:15:06.180 So, I mean, this is a guy who his own sister has said is willing to say anything he needs to to get elected.
00:15:12.660 And how do you trust somebody like that?
00:15:14.040 How can you have any faith that that will be a person who is going to stand up for you in the United States Senate?
00:15:21.540 No, it's of course he's already playing those games.
00:15:24.560 And, you know, and by the way, though, that is something that I'd love to hear from his DSA buddies as well.
00:15:30.220 And and those folks, because, like I said before, he is from that far left part of the party.
00:15:36.680 And he says he's not a DSA member. OK, but he's very much in that vein of politics.
00:15:42.040 Same way I'm in the MAGA side of the Republican conservative movement. Right.
00:15:46.440 And so those guys always criticize Barack Obama all the time is a constant refrain.
00:15:53.000 So you have to wonder, then, is him bringing in Barack Obama maybe a way for them to say that, hey, he's getting a little too cozy with Democrat establishment?
00:16:01.760 Well, I think you're exactly right that he can't have it both ways.
00:16:05.560 He can't, you know, talk about how, you know, Barack Obama is a failure of a president.
00:16:11.680 Say Kamala Harris, you know, he was the ringleader of the uncommitted movement, not voting for Kamala Harris for president in the last presidential election.
00:16:20.300 And now he's campaigning with these people, you know, begging for their support.
00:16:24.160 So, again, there is no intellectual honesty.
00:16:28.240 You know, Jack, he was said that he we have him on record multiple times talking about his how he's not ashamed of his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and his dual citizenship in Egypt.
00:16:38.640 And he's on Meet the Press this weekend saying he has no ties and his family has no ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:16:44.980 I mean, you cannot believe a word that comes out of this guy's mouth.
00:16:48.460 Yeah.
00:16:50.300 No, exactly not. And when people look at him, I do think that there is a real possibility that it's going to be a lot closer than people think. I think he's going to win by seven points. And I just don't see it. I really don't see it. What, when, when, you know, it's anyone knows that on the gas prices too, it's just Democrats, they don't want us to be able to drive gas anymore. They want solar, they want wind, they want all these other things.
00:17:16.140 He's not someone who actually has solutions that connect with the average voter.
00:17:20.280 No, listen, I share. Nobody's on the road more than me. I'm crisscrossing our state in this in this campaign.
00:17:28.080 And I feel the pain of the gas prices in the state of Michigan right now. 0.62
00:17:32.720 But Abdul Al-Sayed will only make that issue worse by his plans to, you know, he doesn't want the U.S. to drill for oil.
00:17:41.700 He wants to ban fracking.
00:17:43.560 He wants to have everything be an electric vehicle and have our grid powered on wind
00:17:47.460 and solar.
00:17:48.420 Well, let me tell you what, that doesn't work.
00:17:50.660 And that only is going to mean skyrocketing prices for everybody.
00:17:54.280 So again, Al-Syed will tap into any frustration, but he's not honest about what the actual
00:18:00.740 cost is.
00:18:02.820 No, he's certainly not.
00:18:03.620 For people who want more information, want to get involved with the campaign, want to
00:18:07.720 see what Rogers is up to, or want more information or say, where should they go?
00:18:11.700 I would definitely encourage them to check me out on X. It's shooty underscore bill. And I check out Mike Rogers' campaign page as well. We've got 21 days. And you're right, this is going to be a very close race. And I'll just say, the Democrats, the far left, they want to discourage Republicans and have them think that this election is over so they don't show up to the polls. If Republicans show up, if Republicans go to the polls, we will win this thing in three weeks.
00:18:38.900 three weeks to election day thanks so much bill appreciate it mr mr representative
00:18:46.140 another intelligence officer at dia man ladies and gentlemen right back human events daily
00:18:49.500 these are influencers and uh they're friends of mine jack
00:19:05.020 all right folks jack so big back live human events daily real america's voice
00:19:17.360 now folks you may probably have seen some headlines out of russia i'm not sure exactly
00:19:22.340 what's going on there but a couple of lab workers over in siberia were told died from a serious
00:19:27.540 lung infection and now people are reportedly in quarantine with fears of the possible they're
00:19:33.160 calling it a plague outbreak. Now, what could really be going on here? Could this be the start
00:19:38.100 of another pandemic? Or could it just be more fear-mongering? Well, look, we've seen how quickly
00:19:44.940 things can change. And the last thing you want is to be caught off guard when the next health
00:19:50.220 emergency hits. That's why I always recommend the medical emergency kit from the wellness company.
00:19:56.080 It's the best way to plan ahead with prescription medications that may be useful
00:19:59.240 for certain illnesses when getting medical care is not easy.
00:20:03.020 The kit includes multiple medications like ivermectin plus a Z-Pak.
00:20:06.700 Now, these aren't medications you should take without medical guidance.
00:20:10.340 But having a plan in place just before an emergency, that just makes sense.
00:20:15.160 Because when something happens that you don't want to be standing in line at a pharmacy
00:20:18.280 hoping they have what you need, don't wait until the next scare.
00:20:22.160 Get prepared now.
00:20:23.700 Go to TWCHealth slash POSO and use promo code POSO to save up to $30.
00:20:29.240 plus free shipping.
00:20:32.220 All right, folks.
00:20:32.800 Now, we've been talking so much about this case,
00:20:37.280 this murder, anti-white attack in the city of Philadelphia
00:20:42.180 that took place over the weekend 1.00
00:20:44.740 where this absolute animal, this brutal thug, 0.96
00:20:48.340 laid in wait for two police officers that he called, 0.96
00:20:52.160 he swatted himself, essentially, 0.99
00:20:54.800 and then laid in wait to shoot them, 0.99
00:20:57.540 killed one, injured the other, 0.99
00:20:59.240 And we are also told that he went later to police, the report's out now, saying that he shot them because they were white and he would not have shot them if they were black.
00:21:11.600 Soros DA, Larry Krasner, gave a press conference earlier today and he made a little video talking about why this happened.
00:21:20.640 I want to go and play that video from DA Krasner now.
00:21:26.400 Philly, there has been a lot of talk about the Eric Lewis case.
00:21:29.240 Eric Lewis is charged with the homicide of a police officer, the shooting of another police
00:21:34.760 officer, and shooting at nine other officers in what I think we all recognize as a citywide
00:21:40.300 tragedy. There have been questions about a prior homicide case in which he was a defendant
00:21:46.420 that resulted in a not guilty verdict in a trial, and those questions need answers because we all
00:21:54.380 need to know why this man was out of custody. The answer is this. This man is out of custody
00:22:01.200 because a balanced, good and fair judge did what he had to do because two absolutely excellent
00:22:09.160 prosecutors did everything humanly possible with a case and an investigation that was so deeply
00:22:14.720 flawed. It was not just full of errors and mistakes, very serious ones, but some of the
00:22:22.380 conduct involving one police officer and one detective is arguably criminal he's blaming
00:22:28.960 police he's blaming other cops he's blaming anyone but himself for letting this absolute freak on the
00:22:37.520 streets i want to bring on now we've got retired sergeant from the philadelphia sheriff's department
00:22:41.900 mark facetti joining us uh sergeant facetti how are you hey jack how you doing you know i i i've
00:22:50.020 just got to get your reaction. You've been all over this story since it broke. What is your
00:22:54.740 reaction to the DA blaming Philadelphia police for this? I said it last night. I sent out a tweet
00:23:01.280 just so everyone knows Krasner's going to have a press conference tomorrow and he will blame
00:23:05.140 everybody on their son except himself. And that's what he did. There's no shock here.
00:23:11.020 I knew this would happen and he did it.
00:23:13.500 and it's it's it's unbelievable what else are we learning about that prior case this this idea 0.60
00:23:22.280 claiming that that it was oh he had to be found not guilty it's ridiculous this is the problem
00:23:28.660 with krasner he had options back then now everything he just said is not wrong okay
00:23:35.980 Lewis was arrested.
00:23:38.200 The problem was the cop that is involved in this, he was the passenger with the victim
00:23:47.500 that was killed.
00:23:49.220 And from all accounts, what he did that day was actually kind of heroic.
00:23:54.760 The passenger was killed by Lewis.
00:23:57.300 The off-duty police officer grabs the passenger's gun or the victim's gun, fires back at Lewis.
00:24:05.320 a whole exchange breaks out that's how they were able to arrest lewis and charge him with murder
00:24:11.000 because they had the witness who's an off-duty police officer the problem was this off-duty
00:24:18.040 duty police officer was involved with lewis's sister which made this whole ugly tank entanglement
00:24:25.640 uh i was told that before it was reported but i didn't want to put it out there because i
00:24:30.600 I couldn't confirm it, but now it's confirmed. So he would not go to court. And it is believed
00:24:36.360 he wasn't going to court because in favor for the sister. So he was ultimately fired.
00:24:44.160 And as of right now, he's trying to get his job back. But he was fired for not going to court
00:24:49.280 with this case. Now, whatever Larry Krasner is saying about the detective, I've heard nothing
00:24:54.600 negative about him. But again, this is him just creating more, oh, look at everybody else. It's
00:24:59.860 them, not me. But here's the big problem. Here's what he could have done. He could have withdrawn
00:25:06.200 the case, called the FOP, or called the commissioner and said, I need this officer
00:25:12.480 in here tomorrow to charge this guy. Or they could have put a Fort Worth warrant out for the
00:25:19.480 off-duty officer, forced him to testify, which they do to witnesses in our city all the time.
00:25:25.320 he could have done that and refiled later like he does to every single police officer he arrests
00:25:32.120 and when the judge throws it out he refiles and refiles he could have done that he didn't
00:25:37.860 and we've seen it happen over and over he had options he could have put this this violent
00:25:44.640 criminal behind bars and gotten him off the streets he could have done that there's a number
00:25:49.060 of things he could have done differently and we all know what it looks like when they want to get
00:25:53.860 someone off the street and we know what it looks like when they don't sorry for setting final word
00:26:01.220 we got to run in a minute here but what does it mean to the morale of the police when they hear
00:26:07.720 ambushes like this it's devastating and it and when they have you know in a time of mourning
00:26:14.860 right now that they're in they have the district attorney who's supposed to be on law enforcement
00:26:18.940 its side out there blaming them once again it just crushes it and this is now it's open season
00:26:26.160 on cops again possibly and there's no fear for anybody because the district attorney isn't going
00:26:31.620 to go out there and say don't do this or i'm going to come and get you as you just saw he's
00:26:36.020 going to blame everybody else wipe his hands clean and say it ain't me it's them absolutely
00:26:42.220 horrific go give him a follow folks sergeant mark facetti retired from the sheriff's office

00:28:57.660 Pennsylvania up right there in Central PA. It's Tim Scholle. He runs a couple of VFW posts right
00:29:05.680 there in Pennsylvania. Tim, how are you? I'm doing fine today, sir. How about yourself?
00:29:11.740 I'm doing well.
00:29:12.700 Now, you said that's Anvil is your one.
00:29:15.360 Is that Lancaster County, or is it just outside?
00:29:19.120 No, actually, that's located in Lebanon County here in Pennsylvania.
00:29:23.960 Okay, so you're Lebanese.
00:29:25.040 But you're pretty close to the border then, I think, Gary.
00:29:27.460 You're like just north of Lancaster County.
00:29:29.200 I got you.
00:29:29.660 And then you have another one that's up by Fortinetown Gap?
00:29:34.280 There's an American Legion post over here in town of Georgetown.
00:29:37.420 That's American Legion, okay.
00:29:38.900 Great, great, great.
00:29:39.900 So tell us now one story that I've been hearing about for a couple of months now that's been going on.
00:29:47.620 It's happening again. And there's a lot happening with the VFWs in Pennsylvania.
00:29:52.920 One where a lot of people worried about the future of the VFWs.
00:29:57.120 It's a veteran foreign wars, these different posts that exist throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
00:30:02.040 It's for the veterans. It's also open to other other individuals.
00:30:05.900 And to me, I've always viewed them as a backbone of the community, just a community institution that's always existed.
00:30:15.100 Tell us a little bit about what Josh Shapiro and the state of Pennsylvania are doing to go after that's putting the hurt on these VFWs.
00:30:25.260 On our end, it feels like they're doing everything they can to shut us down.
00:30:30.220 and what i don't know why because we do nothing as far as the vfws your legions your ambets
00:30:38.260 uh the veterans like we donate so much back to our communities that the casinos in this area
00:30:46.460 do not and you got to wonder why do they feel that we're such a threat to them
00:30:53.560 that they're coming after us the way they are they want to you can tell these casinos are in
00:30:59.680 so many pockets up in harrisburg our capital here that they didn't even take the last bill up for a
00:31:06.080 vote and it's like it was all ready to go they just don't want to vote on it and just the other
00:31:12.080 day i heard that even our attorney general dave sunday was urging the pennsylvania supreme court
00:31:20.400 not to listen to us having to want to put a stay on the regulation to give us more time
00:31:27.200 Right. So what I have no idea what we're doing so wrong to this state or to those legislators that they're coming after so hard with taxes.
00:31:38.220 I mean, the one bill, one of the taxes at 52 percent.
00:31:43.480 I'll ask every legislator up in Harrisburg, you know, give up 52 percent of your income and let me know how that works out for you and how well you could support your family like we're trying to support our local communities.
00:31:54.900 So wait, we haven't really got into the issue underlying this on the program before.
00:32:01.560 So we know what the VFWs are.
00:32:03.240 We know that they're nonprofits.
00:32:04.280 We know that they form just this incredible backbone of the community helping local veterans,
00:32:09.940 as well as helping veterans earn benefits with health care, with so many legislative rights.
00:32:15.580 Plus, you know, obviously people know about the community, the camaraderie,
00:32:18.360 how it's been going back to in Pennsylvania for hundreds of years, almost 200 years plus
00:32:23.440 the VFW system. What is this new policy that they're pushing that's cutting so much of your
00:32:28.440 revenue? What's going on? I guess it's going to depend mostly on who you have to talk to
00:32:34.960 because it seems like every day that you're finding something out is something different
00:32:40.360 information. What are they trying to feed you as far as what's the latest and greatest coming down
00:32:46.840 from you know the house or the senate and you're coming through and you listen to the gaming
00:32:52.440 commission and they're saying that you know hey we're for you we got these bills and there's been
00:32:57.720 so many bills that have been presented to try to help us with what we have here is these pennsylvania
00:33:04.360 skill games and they're coming to say now that uh these are legal machines that uh the state
00:33:15.560 Supreme Court says that these are slot machines, just like you'd find in a casino. Prior to the
00:33:23.560 Supreme Court ruling, though, all the other courts in the area said, no, these machines are fine.
00:33:28.520 But then you've seen there was no final answer from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court
00:33:36.360 until after the primary elections. And then the ruling comes out of our Supreme Court,
00:33:40.920 it and then they said oh these machines are wrong these are now slot machines are considered and i
00:33:47.560 have so many questions that i could go up through to the to the capitol it's astonishing to me just
00:33:54.920 what the politics are that are going on behind all this because you ask a lot of the other operators
00:34:01.880 and a lot of the other clubs that have these machines and everybody will tell you they're
00:34:06.680 saying that the casinos here in pennsylvania are the ones that are really pushing to get rid of
00:34:11.160 these machines from the clubs such as the vfws and so forth uh so i see you but oh no so i see
00:34:19.600 what's going on so just for the audience to understand so you've got these these these
00:34:23.380 skill games up they're in they're in the vfws it's a way to bring people in it's a way to drive
00:34:29.140 some revenue going and and what they're what shapiro and some of the republicans as well
00:34:34.840 up there are doing is they're all getting in bed with the casino lobby. And the casinos are saying,
00:34:39.840 oh, no, no, we don't want people to be able to go over to the VFWs. We don't like any competition
00:34:45.140 because, of course, now we have gaming in Pennsylvania. And so they're trying to cut out
00:34:50.140 the veterans. They're going after the VFWs, the veterans, the American legions going after these
00:34:56.520 places, trying to shut them down, which are, again, serving the communities, serving the
00:35:03.220 veterans of these areas serving all these places, but they want to go after them. Why? Because the
00:35:08.580 casinos put more money in the pockets of the politicians. And you know what? I'm just going
00:35:13.300 to say it because I think that's what's going on. And I'll agree with you 100% on that. But yet
00:35:19.100 the casinos around here, they're always saying about the record profits that they're reporting.
00:35:23.960 My understanding is there's four different companies that have casinos in the state of
00:35:28.160 Pennsylvania. There's 81 casinos in the state of Pennsylvania as of October of this year.
00:35:35.380 But out of those four companies that are running those casinos, three of them operate out of state
00:35:40.160 of Pennsylvania. There is one that operates within the state, as far as I'm aware and what I was told.
00:35:45.920 But our biggest complaint on our end of the deal is they're taking money out of the communities
00:35:52.180 in which we serve in. We might not longer, you know, as far as the veterans, we may no longer
00:35:57.800 wear the uniform, but we are still serving. You know, we're giving to the local food banks,
00:36:03.420 the youth groups, scouting, other fire departments, and all these different things, child abuse
00:36:09.880 awareness, things along that nature. You'll notice on the backdrops of all these little
00:36:14.740 sports fields for our local youth sports, you know, you would see the banner for MyVFW and
00:36:21.300 our legions in the area because, you know, we could support it up and buy an entire team their
00:36:26.260 uniforms well it's already got to the point you know that this recently that we're gotten tight
00:36:33.320 in our belts as far as now who we will be able to give donations to if any and when we can it's
00:36:40.960 going to be such a miniscule amount that uh it's actually hardly worth it now don't get me wrong
00:36:47.480 i'm sure everything we can give to the children's miracle network and the department of development
00:36:51.840 services, things like that, they'll be grateful for everything we can give them, like the
00:36:57.600 Lebanon Rescue Mission, when it comes special for the holiday meals and so forth like that.
00:37:03.360 But the problem is that we see is, or let me put it this way, what I feel myself is
00:37:10.500 with the legislation of Pennsylvania not acting on any bills and they just kept kicking
00:37:16.280 the can and kicking the can, I feel like this was a direct attack on the veterans in the
00:37:21.120 state of Pennsylvania because they're taking the money away from our organizations that we use to
00:37:27.700 help our communities, but they have nothing in plans to help the communities we were supporting.
00:37:34.640 So that we get Tim, Tim, can I, can I hold you on? Because we're coming up on a hard break. I want
00:37:40.400 you to be able to finish that thought because what you're saying is so powerful. It's about
00:37:43.860 veterans. It's about communities. That's who's under attack. And of course it would have happened
00:37:48.780 in Pennsylvania, I'm not going to let it go unnoticed. Right back, Jack Posobiec, Human
00:37:53.100 Defense Daily. I call this the Jack Posobiec Appreciation Hour. I can say confidently,
00:38:01.400 I believe, I think Josh Shapiro would be the vice presidential nominee if it wasn't for
00:38:05.260 Jack Posobiec. And that is, I'll be honest. All right, Jack Posobiec back live here,
00:38:14.600 Human Events Daily, Real America's Voice. We're on with Tim Scholle. He is with the VFW on Lebanon
00:38:20.500 County, Pennsylvania. And Tim, so we're talking about this story for folks who missed the beginning
00:38:26.100 of it, how it's Josh Shapiro, the governor, how there's Republicans and Democrats alike up in
00:38:31.840 Harrisburg that are just doing the bidding of the casino lobby who are putting such a hurt on
00:38:38.940 the VFWs going after these games that you have set up as a way to build revenue, to have people
00:38:47.000 come in, but to change the taxation level on these things, that's really putting a cut on
00:38:53.680 your revenue. And to a point where some of these VFWs, and I'll just ask you the question,
00:38:59.740 is it at a point now where you're having VFWs, not ask about yourself, but if you've heard of
00:39:04.340 any in the area or in the state that may actually be in danger of having to shut down?
00:39:11.020 We do hear of a couple that are in danger of shutting down.
00:39:16.240 I know that it's going to happen to a couple of them.
00:39:20.780 I mean, the amount of revenue that we take in with the skill games, don't get me wrong,
00:39:26.600 the majority of that goes to the communities.
00:39:29.320 We use a small percentage of that to help ourselves.
00:39:33.680 Just for the fact like our post itself, we finally, after 50 years, it was 1972 when our building was built.
00:39:42.980 2022 is when the building finally got a remodeling done.
00:39:47.440 And I just ended up with a leak in my roof as well.
00:39:51.360 Well, now that's income coming into our establishment that's no longer there.
00:39:57.900 And I'm going to tell you what, when they tell us, you know, well, you're going to have to do more sub sales, things along this nature.
00:40:03.220 It's just not going to cut it.
00:40:06.260 The taxation that they want to put on these machines, it's phenomenal.
00:40:13.180 It really is.
00:40:14.540 And when you start looking at all the different bills that they had up there, who wants to tax it at this rate?
00:40:18.700 Who wants to tax it at this rate?
00:40:20.480 Here's an idea.
00:40:21.380 Well, let's give a flat rate per month per machine on how many machines are in that establishment.
00:40:27.180 Depending on the size of the establishment, now you're limited to how many machines you can have in that establishment.
00:40:31.500 it there's so many different ideas that are flipped around one way or the other but it still
00:40:36.960 comes down to the fact that if there isn't enough money going up to the capitol then nobody wants
00:40:42.060 to hear it nobody wants to vote on it um we just had a rally up there last tuesday up at the capitol
00:40:48.820 and there was a lot of our supporters standing there with us on the steps at the rally but my
00:40:55.140 biggest question was well why wasn't any of our opposition to these machines out there speaking
00:41:00.020 their piece. And as I told the one reporter up there, I said, I'll guarantee every suit that's
00:41:06.220 inside that Capitol building. During their campaign, they had something saying that they
00:41:11.160 support best, or they had pictures with veterans and so forth. But now when it comes down to the
00:41:16.040 brass tacks of actually helping us out to actually help our communities and their constituents in
00:41:22.000 which they live in those communities and who voted for them, they're taking the money right
00:41:26.560 out of those communities they're taking money right away from those veterans and it's not just
00:41:31.840 that you know what we do within our own community but other things like tunnels the towers all right
00:41:36.880 wounded warriors well here's a question too though why are there so many of these organizations out
00:41:43.120 there to help veterans if they could sustain themselves or let's put it this way if the
00:41:48.240 government could help its own veterans then why do we need tunnels the towers wounded warriors
00:41:53.840 and all these other organizations to help veterans with outreach programs and so forth
00:41:58.640 the government can't take care of us so we're trying to take care of ourselves from within
00:42:03.040 our communities and they're taking that away from us so where is our legislation
00:42:10.560 when it comes down to the time to help why again does veterans have to ask the government
00:42:16.240 to help us we shouldn't have to do that and we have so many other small businesses that operate
00:42:24.340 these games that their employees they hired more people but some of their employees from the small
00:42:29.080 business from the operators some employees are going to get terminated some are going to get
00:42:33.380 laid off they're losing health insurance now they can't cover it because they lost the revenue coming
00:42:38.280 from these games so they're not just hurting us they're hurting the local fire departments as well
00:42:43.500 So, I mean, the amount, I really don't think Capitol has any idea on how much this is actually going to hurt the state.
00:42:53.580 They're just worried about talking, hey, I want this bill here, who's going to pass this.
00:42:57.420 They're worried about their elections and things along that nature.
00:43:01.080 When, again, they forgot, again, that we the people are the ones that voted them into office.
00:43:07.040 And I'm pretty sure there's going to be a lot of we the people that's going to vote a lot of opposition out.
00:43:11.340 But the legislators, I think, need to understand that they volunteered for that position.
00:43:16.900 So that means they volunteered to help their constituents and their communities.
00:43:21.900 And they're failing us left and right up there right now.
00:43:25.200 When they didn't even want to act on the latest bill that was up there to help us, the legislation did nothing.
00:43:34.440 Absolutely nothing.
00:43:37.020 Where are we going from here?
00:43:38.800 Well, our machines are going out already.
00:43:40.860 there's a lot of people saying boy this looks empty now and it actually put a big damper on us
00:43:46.440 but i already got some things like i said go ahead sir you were saying something i know i was just
00:43:51.840 going to say no as i you know just to ask so so we're hearing about this they're putting the herd
00:43:57.080 in they're putting a squeeze on the vfws um the revenue is drying up as you're saying uh you know
00:44:03.760 people aren't showing up as much anymore and and it doesn't bring people in as much because people
00:44:07.860 would come in and then they might stay around. They might order some food. They might, you know,
00:44:11.780 hang out, et cetera. So you're losing that as well. The foot traffic for folks who are listening,
00:44:16.960 if you're in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or you just want to get involved, what would be
00:44:20.860 the call to action? Should people contact legislators directly? Should they talk about
00:44:26.480 the businesses? What, what should people do if they feel so moved to try to help the veterans
00:44:31.540 out here i mean all you do is you know we operate for your local your local communities uh programs
00:44:39.140 like your scouting youth programs and stuff those all wrong you know donations um again that's not
00:44:44.980 the casinos i want so bad for every club every association here in the state to take their
00:44:52.340 donation requests and send them up to shapiro or make copies of them send them to the casinos you
00:44:58.820 the casinos want our money so bad that they say we're hurting us well they can have all the
00:45:03.380 donation letters that all of our clubs get and if they want our money so bad well they can use the
00:45:09.300 money to put into their communities that they're limited because if we're not going to be able to
00:45:14.900 help those communities anymore because our money is now supposedly going to the casinos let the
00:45:20.580 casinos put the donations out there but the casinos pay the bills i mean that's what they say about
00:45:27.300 remember property taxes when the casinos come in we're supposed to help with the property taxes
00:45:31.780 well that's not happening anymore either so our debris started honestly so call your local
00:45:39.140 legislators email regular mail phone because whenever we go up to the capitol they're saying
00:45:46.020 well we never hear anybody saying anything about these so there must be nobody interested in
00:45:50.420 supporting the skill games i said well then why don't you look at it this way it's like counting
00:45:55.060 dear with the game commission in pennsylvania for everyone you see there's a hundred you don't see
00:45:59.940 so myself being part of vfw we're we're non-political i'm not republican or democrat
00:46:06.020 when it comes to these things but my patrons are and my patrons vote and you just hurt those
00:46:13.940 patrons you know you hurt their kids you hurt their grandkids so you're there let's see what
00:46:20.100 these legislators do i want to hear somebody come up and tell me why they oppose us having
00:46:24.820 these machines so bad and how many pockets does the casinos actually have their hands in in our
00:46:31.140 in our legislation up at the capitol i'm really curious on that one it's as simple as that tim
00:46:37.140 shawley thank you so much for joining us here human events daily speak out for the veterans
00:46:41.060 of pennsylvania in the vfw system my pleasure sir thank you all right god bless to you look and
00:46:47.860 folks this is what we're talking about all right you know people are looking at the situation
00:46:52.220 don't even hear about these things.
00:46:54.380 And they look at the VFWs.
00:46:56.040 If you're not a member of one, you might drive past them.
00:46:59.120 You might see it.
00:46:59.840 You're generally aware of what it is.
00:47:02.620 But some of these communities,
00:47:03.880 they really do become a special part of that community.
00:47:06.740 It becomes part of the center.
00:47:07.940 It becomes a part of a place where people can meet up,
00:47:11.440 where they can have events,
00:47:12.440 where they can get together for holidays.
00:47:15.840 They're also, as he said, they give back to the community,
00:47:18.660 sponsor Little Leagues and things like this.
00:47:20.300 You have a potluck dinner.
00:47:21.620 do something for the veterans, and they do help out the veterans of the area. Some of them hold
00:47:25.660 carnivals and different things like that. And to see somebody like Josh Shapiro
00:47:31.300 and the Republicans in the Senate going along with him, of course, this is who they're attacking.
00:47:38.120 Of course, this is who they're after. So for me, I'm going to stay on the side of the veterans.
00:47:44.100 I'm going to stay on the side of the people of Pennsylvania, as I always have. Ladies and
00:47:49.860 gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay a short.
