00:01:10.540Mayor Memdani, the mayor, posted a video onto his social media accounts
00:01:14.920heralding the journey of Italian-Americans in the U.S.
00:01:18.440It doesn't, however, make any mention of Christopher Columbus.
00:01:21.740Now, in a statement, council member Joanne Ariello responded, saying, quote,
00:01:26.740I'm proud that I was part of the chorus of Italian-American voices that encouraged the mayor to stay away from Columbus Day celebrations.
00:01:34.300Why would he want to be there? To get pictures?
00:01:36.920We will never forget the picture of him giving the statue of Christopher Columbus the middle finger.
00:01:41.840The data center fight intensifying tonight as the AI, or as President Trump calls it, super intelligence, build out reshapes, skylines and strains power grids in communities across the country.
00:01:54.380Construction on these projects across the nation is surging up more than 400 percent.
00:02:00.820James Tallarico was spotted back on the campaign trail shaking hands and posing for photos this afternoon after he was not seen publicly for 13 days.
00:02:09.860The Texas Democrat Senate hopeful sparked questions and rumors after he was last seen in public in person on September 26.
00:02:17.940Four days later, he was supposed to speak at another event in person, but apologized for showing up virtually.
00:02:24.320He said he was running a fever, was contagious, and just did not want to get anyone sick.
00:02:29.880This is Eric Lewis, the man accused of shooting two Philadelphia police officers,
00:02:35.360responding to a call on North 52nd Street early Saturday morning.
00:02:39.860He now faces over 70 charges, including homicide of a law enforcement officer, murder, attempted murder, and aggravated assault.
00:02:52.420it was the one this is the first time he's gonna be charged with homicide shot his brother five
00:02:58.980times um you know but here's the key that will dispute any mental illness claims okay he was 100
00:03:13.460aware of what he was doing he called the police to ambush him they came they were ambushed
00:03:19.060when he went in to the alleyway where he was hiding he called again but this time he said
00:03:26.980that he was anonymous caller and that the shooter had shot himself and he was down
00:07:32.060what a job you do you know we have an incredible thing we're always talking about the fake news
00:07:36.540and the bad but we have guys and these are the guys should be getting policies
00:07:43.660all right folks jack so we're back live here we are human events daily only on real america's
00:07:48.060voice ladies and gentlemen most people know that tap water contains chlorine the smell alone gives
00:07:52.940chlorine away but keeping water safe is the only part of the story adding chlorine to water can
00:07:58.300also create chemical byproducts. Learning about those byproducts is why I started filtering all
00:08:03.880of my family's water through Cove Pure. You know something? My wife, Tanya Tay, loves it too.
00:08:08.560Chlorine itself isn't the only concern. Chlorine levels in drinking water are regulated, but
00:08:13.520chlorine can also react with organic matter from rivers, soil, and plants. That reaction creates
00:08:18.580chemical byproducts called THMs. THMs are regulated too, but studies have linked long-term
00:08:24.720exposure to an increased risk of bladder and colorectal cancer. For me, reducing the Pozo1.00
00:08:31.840family's exposure became a priority. Better tasting water doesn't necessarily mean fewer
00:08:37.240contaminants. Some pitcher filters reduce the taste and smell of chlorine, but the reducing
00:08:42.100the chlorine, it's not the same as removing all the chemicals. You got to get everything out.
00:08:46.100So CovePure uses this great clear wave reverse osmosis technology for that added layer of
00:08:51.420filtration. Look, I wanted more than a better tasting system. I wanted a system designed to
00:08:55.820produce contaminants in the water my family drinks every day. And the taste has been a big
00:09:00.360hit at home. My boys love it. They call it super water. My wife uses the Cove Pure water. She uses
00:09:05.020it for cooking. So Cove Pure, it's not just for filling a glass. It's part of our everyday routine
00:09:09.960in the Poso household. From drinking water, preparing meals, my family uses this super
00:09:14.520water through every day. Clean water is an investment in family health. And because I
00:09:19.400partner with CodePure using promo code POSO gets you $250 off. So go to CodePure.com slash POSO
00:09:25.920right now. That's C-O-V-E-P-U-R-E.com slash POSO. Do not wait. Folks, I want to say something else
00:09:33.960about this before we bring our next guest on from Philadelphia. And here's what it is. There's a lot
00:09:40.060of people who misunderstand the nature of the left. And when we talk about public executions,
00:09:44.600I saw the left saying, oh, that's violent. Oh, that's violent. I saw people on the left saying,
00:09:47.520Oh, it's violent. Oh, no, no, no. It's so violent. Excuse me. The left loves violence.
00:09:52.420The left revels in violence. Look how they responded to Charlie's murder. Look how they
00:09:57.520call for President Trump to be killed every day. And look how they support the violent criminals1.00
00:10:02.360of the violent that are let out on the streets every day like Larry Krasner does. Right. At some
00:10:07.220point, you have to step back and say, you know what? You guys aren't just playing this. You know,
00:10:12.040oh, I'm sympathetic for the plight of the downtrodden narrative. No, you secretly get off
00:10:17.100on it. You secretly find it fun. You find it gleeful. It makes you happy to let these violent
00:10:24.120animals out on the street to prey upon the middle class and normal people. Why? Because you're using
00:10:29.880fear to keep people in check and you love it. You love being like an accomplice after the fact
00:10:35.220because you think it's great. Why? This serves the greater leftist project of bringing down the
00:10:41.180great cities, of bringing down the great civilizations and destabilizing us so they
00:10:46.300can get into total control. You don't believe me? Go to a Luigi Maggioni hearing. Go to one of those
00:10:52.600hearings and see the left talking them up. And Mayor Mondami is going to give them all a bunch
00:10:55.860of passes so they can go in and watch and cheer them on with their little Luigi hats. The left
00:11:00.340loves violence. Take that to the bank. They are some of the most violent people on the face of
00:11:07.040the planet. And historically speaking, they have killed more than any other ideology in modern
00:11:13.620history. I want to go now to Frankie Scales out of Surge Media from Philadelphia. Frankie,
00:11:18.900how are you? I'm doing well, Jack. Thank you for having me on.
00:11:22.820Well, look, absolutely horrific as the story is, and the officer, Shane Sieber, obviously his
00:11:28.940family has got, I believe, a little boy, a little girl, his wife. They're not going to be visiting
00:11:33.420a grave because of this animal up there who conducted this. And walk us through what we're
00:11:41.340learning, because it seems like this guy, Eric Lewis, had been protected in some way, that he
00:11:49.620didn't just start with calling police officers and swatting himself and laying in ambushes,
00:11:54.580one of the most evil things that I could possibly think of. But actually, this wasn't his first run
00:11:59.360with the law, was it? No, it wasn't. I mean, he almost killed his brother in the past. And
00:12:04.340unfortunately, in Philadelphia, what we see is a lot of the people to commit terrible things like
00:12:09.360this to kill people and harm people are people who could have been taken off the street earlier
00:12:15.060by our district attorney, Larry Crasser. But Larry Crasser likes to give criminals a pass.
00:12:20.900And what we've seen over the years is innocent, good people, American patriots, people like Shane,
00:12:27.280the police officer who was murdered, who served his country in the military and then served
00:12:31.500Philadelphia and his community as a police officer getting killed because Larry Crasser will not take
00:12:37.100criminals off the street. That's number one. And number two is this doesn't seem to just be,
00:12:42.180you know, a vicious animal who wanted to attack other humans. This is a vicious animal that
00:12:47.520wanted to attack and kill white people. And when you take when, you know, the Democrat Party1.00
00:12:53.180weaponizes all our institutions to put out anti-white literature and spread that sentiment
00:13:00.600across the population for decades, this type of thing is bound to happen. So I think we need to0.59
00:13:06.640do two things we need to make an example of this person and we also need to take back our
00:13:11.120institutions that's the only way we stop things like this from happening in the future so and
00:13:16.400and this is this is again as disgusting and despicable as it is you look at it and and there
00:13:23.100seems to be and this is what i'm saying that there's some kind of relationship you know not
00:13:28.000not direct but it's sort of an indirect relationship where he got larry krasner up there
00:13:32.160saying that he knew these people were violent he knew these people mentally disturbed whatever they
00:13:36.560are. They have this vendetta against white people and others. And then he lets them back out on the0.77
00:13:41.420street. And then you see the freak is sitting there smiling. After he shot a police officer
00:13:46.360to death, he tried to shoot the other police officer to death and they find him up in a tree.
00:13:50.480He was somehow 12 shots and the guy survived, which is just amazing. You know, praise God,
00:13:55.740obviously. But this didn't happen overnight. And that's what I'm getting at. It's like a wink and
00:14:02.320a nod between the DA's office and these violent criminals to say, if you go and do these things,
00:14:08.880I'll have your back. Exactly. And when you look at the institutions more broadly,
00:14:14.260they don't have to, the establishment people don't have to say, go do this, right? They say
00:14:19.900it indirectly. They say negative things and disparaging things against white people and
00:14:24.400Republicans like Charlie Kirk, who were going out there talking about the gospel. And they say
00:14:29.920negative things long enough, they call people fascists, they call people Nazis, and eventually
00:14:34.480some crazy person is going to hear that and act like this person did. So we cannot kind of
00:14:40.820disconnect the two, although it is an indirect relationship. When it comes to Krasner, for
00:14:47.640folks who don't know about Larry Krasner, we're speaking to the national audience here,
00:14:51.960walk us through a little bit of his background and his tenure as the DA of Philadelphia.
00:14:56.440I mean, Larry Krasner has been in office for many years, and he's made a career out of not only letting criminals out through catch-and-release policies, but also investigating any police officer that draws their gun.
00:15:09.920There is a task force, or at least was a task force in Philadelphia, where if a police officer draws their gun to defend themselves, they get investigated.
00:15:18.700And, you know, this has been going on in Philadelphia for a while.
00:15:21.580Just last year, Cata Scott, a young black woman who had a bright future ahead of her, was killed by an animal named Keon King.
00:15:29.780Keon King in the past tried to strangle a woman and had a long criminal reaction himself.
00:15:36.140I actually went to school with that man, Keon King, who killed Cata Scott, and he was an animal.
00:15:42.580So Larry has a long history of enabling crime in Philadelphia because he has criminal first policies.
00:15:49.080He would rather let the criminals go and advocate for the criminals than put people behind bars and stop these tragedies from happening.
00:15:56.600I mean, his past, he was a criminal defense attorney, not even a prosecutor before he became D.A. of Philadelphia.
00:16:03.700And it's it's set up a situation where they know they know it's open season.
00:16:09.220And for folks who understand, this is a Soros DA.
00:16:13.100He's been one of the most, you know, for their side, one of the most effective Soros DAs of any city in America.
00:16:20.200And, of course, because the attorney general at the time had been Josh Shapiro, now the governor's Josh Shapiro, they don't put any checks on him at all.
00:16:28.960At least the new attorney general, Dave Sunday, is doing what he can because he's a Republican.
00:16:33.100That's a separately elected position in the state of Pennsylvania.
00:16:36.060And so he is a little bit of way that he's working with the state Supreme Court to try to put a check on him.
00:16:42.340But in the city of Philadelphia, the guy runs wild.
00:16:45.480And of course, I remember your moment of, you know, trying to get him on record and confronting him about the things that he's done to the city.
00:16:55.420Yeah, I mean, you know, I went and I approached him in a park because he wouldn't let me in his town hall.
00:17:00.620And when I asked why I wasn't allowed in his town hall to ask him questions, and I asked why he was letting criminals go, he called me anti-American. And that's so indicative of the Democrat strategy on the national stage and in every city. It's demonized, demonized, demonized, demonized Republicans, demonized white people.
00:17:18.580And when you do that, you don't, you know, technically or directly incite violence, but by calling somebody a Nazi, which he called me, by calling somebody anti-American, American, people hear that and they go commit violence.
00:17:31.360So I mean, again, it goes back to that old Democrat playbook that Larry Krasner plays so well. And it looks like his past is catching up with him because he was exonerating murderers, people who killed other human beings. This guy was letting free and he was doing it without the proper evidence. So there may be federal investigations coming down the pipeline. That's all developing and it may happen.
00:17:54.780But I mean, yeah, the state is trying to check in because he's so out of control.
00:17:58.580I mean, even the Democrats don't even like him because he's so radical.
00:18:03.740And Frankie, actually, one thing people need to understand is that for folks who don't know the background, you and I know, he was the Black Lives Matter lawyer.
00:18:12.420He was the lawyer for Black Lives Matter.
00:21:09.920and what we're doing here at Human Events, they're not telling the full story, are they?
00:21:14.880No, not at all. I mean, it's the last thing they want to talk about, which is, you know,
00:21:18.860discrimination and attacks on white Americans. And what they're going with, what the Mayor
00:21:23.600Sherrell Parker is going with is we need to have more involuntary commitments in the state of
00:21:29.520Pennsylvania and city of Philadelphia, meaning we need to take more people who are crazy off the
00:21:33.980street. And that's true. And that's something that the Democrats refused to do in the past.0.72
00:21:38.160So I hope that Sherelle Parker can have success there. But we're not talking about this case. I mean, this was a blatant attack on white officers. I mean, the guy even said he wanted to, you know, kill white people. This was his goal. So we should be talking about that, but they'll never talk about that.
00:21:55.200Now, if the roles were reversed, that's all they would be talking about. And everybody on the right and left would condemn it. So I think we need to really make it a focal point of, you know, this whole instance where it's, you know, I want to see more involuntary commitments. That's what we need in Philadelphia. And I'm glad Mayor Cheryl Parker is talking about that.
00:22:14.400But in this case, we need to be talking about, you know, anti-white sentiment and racism against white people because a man lost his life.0.96
00:22:21.660A man with a family, a man who served his country in the military and his community in the police force has lost his life because somebody wanted to kill white people.
00:22:30.580Look, and Pennsylvania's got Section 302 under the law.
00:22:38.020And Larry Krasner could have done it, by the way.
00:22:40.360He easily could have, as the DA of Philadelphia while looking at that case, when he was the district attorney, I think it was 2018, this whole thing with the brother, he easily could have done that.
00:23:02.320The issue is that they keep letting these people out.
00:23:05.540In fact, in fact, there was something where I don't want to get into the whole debate right now, but there was something where Pope Leo had come out and said, well, you can't be for the death penalty because in this day and age, we can lock people up so easily.
00:23:18.180And the response to that, of course, is we can't lock them up easily because of people like Larry Krasner, because these guys keep letting them out.
00:23:26.460That's why you got to push for that stuff.
00:23:28.420It doesn't have to do with the physical system.
00:23:30.400It has to do with the person who's in charge of the system.
00:23:34.360And they keep letting these people out again and again.
00:23:37.600And that's why I'm just going to say it over and over.
00:23:55.060And they just say the very bare minimum to not admit it publicly.
00:23:59.020And the radical leftists like Soros who have the money, who donate to campaigns, they knew what they had to do. They didn't necessarily have to change the law. They had to control who enforces the laws. That's why these radical leftist groups funded DAs across the country because it flies under the radar.
00:24:18.280But if they have the DA's office in Philadelphia, then they can kind of empower the mob and the crazy people to do whatever they want. And that's what they've done across our country. And a large part of Surge Media's work, a large part of my work, is fighting back against that, is saying local politics does matter.
00:24:35.340our great american cities are the cultural centers for our entire country it's where all our media
00:24:41.660educational and health care institutions are and they matter we need to take back philadelphia we
00:24:47.020need to take back new york city we need to take back boston los angeles we can't let these places
00:24:52.440go to waste and that's what the democrats are doing to turning them into dumps that are dangerous for
00:24:57.340white people i mean we can talk about arena zarutska they didn't want to talk about arena0.95
00:25:01.400right i mean this is prevalent in all of our major cities and it needs to stop
00:25:05.800no it absolutely does and that was uh that was charlotte that was charlotte by the way
00:25:10.840and and this is president trump has shown in washington dc that it could be done with more
00:25:16.740policing serious policing and of course he was able to supplement that with the national guard
00:25:20.740at some of the landmarks so that the actual police officers could go and deal with the actual
00:25:26.180problem spots of society. And oh, by the way, they'll say, oh, well, you're sending it to
00:25:31.320minority neighborhoods. Yes. To protect the minority neighborhoods. That's what a police0.95
00:25:35.820officer does, right? You're getting the violent elements out of there so they can protect the
00:25:41.160people who live in the minority neighborhoods. Oh my gosh. What a concept. It's the craziest
00:25:47.500thing I ever heard. And by the way, dirty little secret, they're doing it in Baltimore too. And
00:25:51.100it's working really well. And this is why like people get mad at me when I say, you know, I'm
00:25:55.080force some of the you know the cameras and everything else because this is what's going on
00:25:59.240right this is how bad it's gotten in these areas and you need to work your way around it because
00:26:05.040if you don't right if you don't these slippery uh creeps like larry krasner will find any way
00:26:12.480to help their buddies and the violent left it's it's like it's not a meme or a cliche to say that
00:26:17.680democrats love violent criminals because you see them going and supporting them every single day
00:26:24.640It's as simple as that. Frankie, we've got to run, man. We've got about a minute left.
00:26:27.760Tell people where they can go to follow you and to support everything you do.
00:26:31.100So you can go to frank.scales on all social media platforms and YouTube.
00:26:36.120If you would like to go to our website to leave a contribution, buy a hat.
00:26:39.380We have beautiful hats. Surgemedia.us, S-U-R-G-E-M-E-D-I-A.us.
00:26:46.780And stay tuned because we're going to be having live events in our cities.
00:26:50.140Charlie Kirk did a great thing. He changed the course of our future by having events on college campuses where there was no Republican representation.
00:26:59.240And we think we need Republican representation in the cities where many Republicans have given up.
00:27:04.660But we're going to do that. Surgemedia.us. Thank you for having me on.
00:27:07.660Let's bring it back. Let's bring it back. I think I might know some folks who might want to help you out in the city of Philadelphia, man.
00:27:13.120All right. We're right back. Jack Posobiec, Human Events Daily, The America's Voice.
00:27:20.140the faculty of one university is one communist
00:27:24.040one communist among the american advisors at yalta was one communist
00:27:39.960watch the downgrade the downfall of society where women you know we started and i'm going to be very
00:27:47.560clear, Jack. This started with the1.00
00:29:11.700Well, tell us. So tell us a little bit about the event that's going to take place later today at the university with myself and Tim Poole and and also this story about how there was kind of like almost a cancellation attempt.
00:29:25.760Yeah, totally. I mean, thanks for having me again. So the Chicago Thinker is UChicago's conservative and libertarian publication. And we're putting this event on right at the beginning of the school year to bring in conservative voices on campus and have that perspective, which is often neglected at universities to be present for students.
00:29:43.000so we invited tim pool we invited of course you and tim actually wanted to have a kind of a
00:29:49.560different voice on stage so we're going to have luke beasley too okay um and that's the goal of
00:29:55.540the event is to have conservative voices on campus and that's fine that's exactly fine right
00:29:59.780and by the way by the way i should i'd be remiss if i didn't ask who was one of the founders of
00:30:04.600the chicago thinker evita evita duffy evita duffy my are my favorite anti-communist so uh and i can
00:30:11.880remember i'm you guys had like a brian stelter came to town and you guys were uh we're tearing
00:30:17.840him up yeah brian came in talking talking about fox news and all how fox news is all about
00:30:22.280misinformation information and one of our members just came up to him hey uh cnn is just as bad or
00:30:27.640even worse because you've done nothing but cover lies over the last few years what about that and
00:30:32.060he just lied through his teeth about the whole thing so that was good coverage for us i mean0.99
00:30:36.080it's easy when there's someone stupid i i i remember i remember that that whole thing and0.98
00:30:41.020i said i remember thinking my gosh who are these guys over at chicago we need to get more of them0.98
00:30:47.040out and of course then i found out evita was uh you know one of the uh co-conspirators that um
00:30:53.260and i said oh well this makes complete sense to me so so okay that so that was the event and
00:30:58.180sounds like a you know perfectly um perfectly normal event to be held what happened when you
00:31:04.340went through the the you know production process with the school because i saw some reporting the
00:31:10.780school was or some officials low level were saying that it shouldn't happen yeah so we booked this
00:31:15.320auditorium at the university of chicago we signed a contract all good no questions asked and then
00:31:19.820about a week and a half later i get an email from the organizer of the venue saying hey i'm sorry
00:31:24.460it came up to me that this event might be controversial instead of the email and we're
00:31:29.240gonna have to cancel it i'm so sorry like totally out of the blue no questions asked and mind you
00:31:33.440this point we didn't tell temple was coming we didn't tell him you were coming they had no idea
00:31:38.580what the event was about so they can't even claim to be about so it was just you holding an event
00:31:43.080totally exactly all they knew was the name of our organization that was that and so so so they came
00:31:49.300back and said there was a level of contrary you have no idea do you ever find where that initial
00:31:53.880report of controversy came from i don't exactly know i just know it came up to her to some extent
00:31:59.780What I think was was some superior in the auditorium was a little scared of having us hosting there and then put the order down to her and track us out.
00:32:09.020Because it's typically when I've when I've encountered this before and every time I deal with universities, this is something that commonly happens.
00:32:17.180Of course, with Turning Point USA, this happens to us all the time, all over the place that we don't get a permit or there's an issue with something with campus.
00:32:26.200we're holding the event and it usually and a lot of the time not always but a lot of the time it
00:32:30.860does come down to one person it has true issue with it and then trying to exercise some kind of
00:32:38.260procedural leverage or bureaucratic leverage rather than publicly saying what the reason is
00:32:44.060the other one to hit you with is the security fee they'll say right there's an extra need for a
00:32:48.640security fee which of course by the way you know i'm i'm always personally happy personally happy
00:32:53.040to help with but a lot of the times there there are fees that your organizations have that can
00:32:57.600cover it and in my email back i said if there's any security fee we got to pay we happy to pay
00:33:01.400for it right like we that was not a factor at all yeah yeah i i didn't even know that you said that
00:33:06.960but that's that's always what they try to do they always exactly yeah and uh so what was the final
00:33:12.100what was the final disposition obviously we're here right right so how did it so did it move so
00:33:16.140what happened was once we realized that the event person was going to do anything about it we came
00:33:19.980up to the university administration and i'm not sure you're familiar but the university of chicago
00:33:24.000is the writer of the chicago principles that the principles of free speech are uh it's ingrained in
00:33:29.720the university's identity right and i came up to the administration i'm like hey this happened to
00:33:34.200us they're trying to cancel it because of our conservative ideology and either you're going
00:33:38.800to give us an event back or i'm going to go to to fire you know the free speech uh organization
00:33:44.340which places you chicago number one free speech school in the country by the way and i'll tell
00:33:48.420them what happened and we'll see what happens from there so i emailed the university back and
00:33:52.620forth a few times five days later they call super apologetic hey eduardo i'm so sorry everything
00:33:58.460happened to you uh you can have your venue back with all our apologies this is not within university
00:34:03.660principle but again this is after everything had been happening in the first place so well and at
00:34:08.820the same time you're you know you're you're running an organization you're trying to run
00:34:12.820a uh you're trying to build a a crowd you're trying to build an audience you're trying to
00:34:17.780get people together obviously when you don't know if the venue is it's impossible to then go on and
00:34:24.060do all the other things you need to do when you're running an event yeah totally and we were back and
00:34:28.260forth with the administration for for a couple weeks on that just trying to see what we could
00:34:32.940do but at that point in time we didn't know if we're going to have an event at all right so that
00:34:36.880was obviously a lot of uh a lot of things that we had to deal with at the same time but well it's
00:34:41.300great to hear that free speech prevailed though this is it's a victory for free speech even having
00:34:45.560the event and it really comes to speak as a question for look you know i was i was talking
00:34:50.020about charlie kirk earlier in the show i've got you know that that shirt on uh today and you know
00:34:55.940it it is one of the things that charlie lived his life for in service of the ideal of freedom
00:35:02.640of speech and and part of that of course is debate and if sure if something is controversial
00:35:08.340then we're better to have that discussion than communication done on a college campus of course
00:35:16.260i mean big part of the event today is going to be exactly q a we want students from whatever part of
00:35:22.300the political spectrum to come to the mic and ask questions yeah that's part of what we're doing
00:35:25.660great so it's totally about free speech and totally about well and that's that's what that's
00:35:30.260that's what the rule was you know charlie would always say that you know if you disagree you come
00:35:35.160the front of the line right if you're someone who's got a hard question a tough question uh
00:35:39.140you know someone said something that you disagree with come right to the front come right to the
00:35:44.020front and ask your question and that was because those were the ones that he wanted to really get
00:35:49.680into and to see if he could find out what made that person tick if you understood how that person
00:35:57.020thought and you know perhaps you know now maybe if it's if it's not very well developed and it
00:36:02.780turns into like you know one of those viral clips or something and they get into a back and forth
00:36:06.720but every you know i think that you know thinking about how charlie had done those and i'm starting
00:36:12.380to do more of them myself now is that yeah obviously like today that charlie would
00:36:17.680try to talk beyond the issue and try to connect with the person as as an individual yeah and try
00:36:26.420to say to them you know what makes you care about this issue so much and what is it that you know
00:36:34.960here we are you've lived your whole life i'll live my whole life what brought us to this moment
00:36:38.680together where this was the issue that you want to join and i really see him trying to reach out
00:36:43.260to the individual even if they disagree even if they're you know he's conservative they're a
00:36:46.660liberal whatever it is that you know we could all be human beings and i think that something that
00:36:53.120i've learned more just in this past year since losing charlie that he has he had always said
00:37:01.740we need to bring people together physically because in a world where people are are living
00:37:08.780behind screens all the time uh they have their cell phones they have tiktok they have x instagram
00:37:14.940snapchat whatever it is that it's so easy to dismiss somebody's and as a human being because
00:37:21.000it's dehumanizing because you're separated from the individual but what charlie always did bring
00:37:25.820people together bring people on campus put people in the same room and make them confront each
00:37:30.820other's humanity and i think that there's actually something that's that's quite useful for that and
00:37:36.620i think that there's something that's quite honest about that and it produces a better discussion
00:37:41.660than you were ever going to get if we're just yelling at each other over screens so when you
00:37:46.820cancel an event that's set up like that then you cancel the ability for people to actually have
00:37:53.540that kind of communication and dialogue which obviously is the reason we have freedom to begin
00:38:00.180with all right coming up on a quick break but we're going to be on here one more segment uh
00:38:05.140we're going to be uh of course later today at the university of chicago tim pool luke geasley and
00:39:34.360So when you talk about the migrant crisis in Europe,
00:39:38.440what ways do you see that having a reflection
00:39:42.240to some things that you have experienced?
00:39:45.740Well, you know, demography is destiny, right?
00:39:50.020People talk about that all the time.0.99
00:39:51.660And when you have such a huge influx of people that are so foreign to your culture, to your religions, to your values, you're bound to have to have problems.0.55
00:40:07.840And the most important thing I also want to emphasize is that if you have the far left giving them air cover, that's even worse.0.95
00:40:17.340And that's exactly what happened in Lebanon.
00:40:19.120And that's what I see happening here in the United States.
00:40:20.960And, of course, that's what's happening in Spain.
00:40:23.420That's the pictures that you're showing me.
00:40:25.120I was there, actually, when that was going on.
00:40:27.320It was horrific for the Spanish people.1.00
00:40:32.700And and look, it's it's been long been my contention that this migrant crisis now they they call it some folks even in the UK, for example, they call it an invasion.0.69
00:40:42.500I understand that. But the way I look at it is I don't know if that word is actually correct, because an invasion means a group that is coming in without permission.0.99
00:40:52.880Yet what we see in this migrant crisis, which I believe the only answer is remigration, because what we see here is they've been invited in.0.99
00:41:00.220And in the case of the UK last week, they were given a police escort to come in.0.97
00:41:05.760Yeah, so there we go with the theme I'm pushing here, which is the red and the green.
00:41:10.860So the red, which is the left wing, opens up those borders and hence it looks like an invitation and it's open and you're welcome here.0.51
00:41:25.020But in reality, the other side, which is the green, their job, their mission is to take over the world.0.93
