00:13:01.760 protects the media's right to you know publish but it does not give news organizations an automatic

00:13:07.100 right to a White House hard pass like you were seeing, a seat in the briefing room or a place

00:13:12.620 the president, you know, talking about the president's press pool. So that distinction

00:13:18.120 is really at the center of this entire fight. And now this is where things get particularly

00:13:22.920 interesting for television viewers, like you've been saying during your show. Let me break it down

00:13:27.680 for your viewers, though, Jack. CNN was scheduled to handle the television pool for President Trump's

00:13:33.360 trip to New York for the United Nations General Assembly. And that TV pool is important because

00:13:39.520 they are the only because they are only there because only so many cameras can physically

00:13:44.800 travel with the president. So the major networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CNN have traditionally

00:13:52.280 rotated that responsibility. So one network essentially provides that camera crew and the

00:13:58.080 live video and footage that can then be shared with other organizations. But when the White 0.84

00:14:04.120 House prevented CNN from carrying out its assigned pool duties, the other major networks,

00:14:09.480 of course, also decide to simply not step in and replace CNN. So that's created, of course,

00:14:14.720 an unusual situation. The president is traveling, he's meeting with world leaders, and he is at the

00:14:20.660 United Nations. But the normal shared television camera operation that has followed the president

00:14:25.320 is not operating the way it normally does, and that is where Real America's Voice comes in.

00:33:41.200 Tell me, why is it that at a time like this, that Fulton Sheen, a guy who was on TV five decades ago, is now back, and he's the number one.

00:33:52.820 If you go on TikTok, he's like number one trending all the time. How does it make any sense?

00:33:57.620 because what he said was timeless he he spoke truth he uh you know he had a way of articulating

00:34:04.700 truth in a manner that connected with people uh people that disagreed with him would listen

00:34:09.720 and he converted so many souls during his time here and he's continuing to do that now long after

00:34:16.560 he's been gone that's exactly right and and of course you know incredible images him with pope

00:34:23.640 John Paul II. Talk to us about how significant a beatification mass is within the Catholic Church.

00:34:31.680 Yeah, you know, this is really the final stop before the process can continue for Fulton Sheen

00:34:39.000 to be canonized by the Catholic Church. So, beatification is a significant moment. It's

00:34:45.780 relatively rare, certainly for American Catholics. We have only seen a few in recent years, but

00:34:52.760 Fulton Sheen is different.

00:34:54.200 You know, we think, and by the way, to have a beatification, you have to have one approved

00:34:58.460 miracle.

00:34:59.380 That miracle is well documented of a young boy who will actually be processing during

00:35:05.400 the mass.

00:35:05.940 He's now 16 years old, but he was born without breathing and he was without oxygen for 61

00:35:11.940 minutes.

00:35:13.120 The doctors were about to declare him dead and then he came back to life and they thought,

00:35:18.860 uh-oh, you know, he's been gone 61 minutes.

00:35:21.180 there's going to be all sorts of problems and challenges with this young man. And he's completely

00:35:25.460 normal. And by the way, it's important to note that the family had a devotion to Fulton Sheen

00:35:29.580 and they asked for his intercession during that time where their baby wasn't breathing. And so we

00:35:35.600 have one documented miracle that led us to beatification. After the beatification, we can

00:35:40.400 start investigating additional miracles. And then the next stop is Rome for when Rome declares Fulton 0.54

00:35:46.180 Sheen a saint. So this is so significant. It's it's only happened a small number of times in

00:35:53.600 U.S. history. Correct me if I'm wrong, but would Fulton Sheen be there's only one American saint

00:36:00.280 at this point. Is that right? St. John Newman. Yeah, I believe that's right. There's a few a few

00:36:06.040 others that have been to America or touched on America. You know, we've had a number of really

00:36:10.180 interesting beatifications recently with a really good one is Blessed McGivney, who started the

00:36:15.220 Knights of Columbus but Sheen again Sheen is different because he was such a pioneer in the

00:36:20.420 media you know his show Jack reached 30 million people worldwide he won an Emmy and by the way

00:36:27.080 he didn't care all he cared about was the substance of his message not necessarily the

00:36:32.120 accolades that came with it well it's it's it's phenomenal and I think personally one of the

00:36:39.400 reasons that I want to go there and not only you know obviously being a Catholic being from the

00:36:44.440 archdiocese of philadelphia and growing up there uh going to catholic school my whole life but but

00:36:48.740 also just to show and you know the audience and tell the story that that there's a reason that

00:36:54.120 gen z is reaching back into the past to find this kind of content and why it is and i agree with you

00:37:00.360 i think it's because he's so authentic and he was uncompromising he was uncompromising with evil

00:37:05.160 he was uncompromising to uh bring in the uh whatever was popular of the day and in fact he

00:37:12.440 fought back against the mainstream of his day, just like you see Real America's voice and many
