00:04:02.060 to be with you today on this day when we remember Charlie. He's a husband, a father.

00:04:11.820 He influenced the culture tremendously and touched so many lives. So today is the day

00:04:18.940 that we're going to remember that legacy. But also, we're going to remember something about

00:04:23.960 Charlie, that he was a man of the Word of God. And the Word of God is something that all we

00:04:29.940 Christians share a reverence and love and devotion to. So today we're going to go through

00:04:36.260 the scriptures together, and in doing so, we're going to call to mind Charlie's memory. We're

00:04:41.860 going to pray for him, pray for his family, and pray for all our friends at Turning Point.

00:04:46.980 We know that, as Charlie would say, you know, if you're starting with the Bible,

00:20:55.640 could be so bold but also so eloquent and i came to see in him a kind of prophet of sorts

00:21:06.580 His prophecy was the truth, and that truth was informed by his deep relationship with Christ.

00:21:17.560 I think it was his relationship with Christ that informed everything that Charlie was doing and saying.

00:21:24.200 Even the fact that he sought not simply to argue with people, but to speak to them, to understand them, to allow them to speak to him.

00:27:16.860 Um, I think he, if he didn't know that, you know, directly, he knew it intuitively.

00:27:22.300 Um, you know, Charlie longed for a spiritual revival in this country.

00:27:28.180 And from what I understand, he saw that as the appropriate, you know, foundation and source of any kind of political or cultural transformation.

00:27:48.000 And I think that was really, really impressed upon me in his passing when he was killed.
