00:03:18.340 and by the way and actually it occurs to me that that i can even say this because you would know
00:03:22.860 as well that there was one person there was one person who all along was saying that we should
00:03:28.360 always be having a midterm convention that was all behind the scenes i don't know if he said it on air
00:03:34.160 but that person was charlie kirk i believe that he was all about grassroots momentum energy and
00:03:39.140 understood grassroots more than most people to include up until recently, the Republican party.
00:03:44.060 So he would have been leading, leading the charge on that. Oh, snap. And it's, and it's amazing
00:03:48.280 because, you know, and of course we have your, your wonderful tweet about Charlie and we know
00:03:52.480 what tomorrow is going to be, but, but this was something that Charlie always understood. It was
00:03:57.820 the importance of getting people together and building momentum. And I remember having
00:04:01.840 conversations with him where he would say, why aren't we holding a midterms convention? Because
00:04:06.280 it's something you end the summer and then, boom, you have the shootout. People forget
00:04:10.300 what it's all about. So that really is like why you have why we have this opportunity here with
00:04:15.720 the RNC. Yeah, I think the coalition building that Charlie really left his legacy and mark on
00:04:20.500 is something that the president also, too, understands. J.D. Vance understands, you know,
00:04:23.920 that the president and J.D. are both been very instrumental and a part of Turning Point,
00:04:28.600 especially now, but especially with, you know, the president's objective of maintaining the
00:04:32.880 House in the midterms and being able to continue what his vision was for this country. And then
00:04:37.620 also to, you know, what happens in the next couple of years, obviously also sets us up for
00:04:42.400 the next presidential election cycle. And so I think that they understand that if we are going
00:04:46.860 to actually bring the institutional change that the president really outlined, and we can get
00:04:51.380 into, I think, some stuff that people would be interested in hearing specifically in private
00:04:55.380 conversations that I've had with the president. But to white pill people, it's easy to be a black 0.98
00:04:59.820 pillar. Charlie was never the type of person, though, that saw something wrong and then 0.96
00:05:03.840 complained about it on the Internet and didn't do anything to fix it. He was quite the opposite.
00:05:07.520 Happy warrior is a term that I like to use for that. And so I think what's going to happen today
00:05:11.560 is you're going to see a reminder of the wins that we scored through the American people, but also to
00:05:15.440 really, I think, the contrast that exists between what our image is for this country,
00:05:20.940 what we want to push forward, ideologically speaking, versus that of Momdani and the
00:05:26.000 Democrat socialist, which is something that Charlie identified early on. Remember, socialism
00:05:29.800 sucks. Yeah, this is exactly what I've been talking about because I'm just calling it a 0.99
00:05:34.000 socialist revolution because that's what we're up against. It's clearly what's going on. And you can
00:05:39.160 see it within all facets of our country, whether it be in a Senate race in Michigan or a jury room
00:05:46.920 in Plymouth, Massachusetts or Senate in Florida or Senate race in Florida or the mayoral race in
00:05:53.160 Washington, D.C., where we're going to get one of these DSA candidates or New York City as well,
00:05:56.960 that these people have gone completely around the bend. They are fully embracing actual socialism,
00:06:03.140 not like, you know, the sort of, you know, old school, oh, they're a bunch of social. No, no,
00:06:07.780 no, no. This is the kind of socialism that is actually violent. It is actually dangerous. It
00:06:12.780 is actually something where they are directly targeting our institutions for full on destruction.
00:06:19.000 And if you think that they don't actually believe it, then you have another thing coming.
00:06:22.400 And also, too, they've been targeting, you know, the more moderate, moderate Kennedy era Democrats within the Democrat Party.
00:06:28.020 So the Democrat Party is actually acknowledging and also to realizing that this infiltration doesn't necessarily reflect what they initially set out to represent as the Democrat Party.
00:06:36.860 But what I would say is that, you know, these people want to pack the Supreme Court.
00:06:40.100 They want to abolish the Senate, which is ironic because, you know, there's a few of them running for Senate.

00:09:55.140 Yeah, and I think this idea, too, that he shouldn't be focusing on foreign policy because it somehow would take away his ability to focus on issues at home is actually a false narrative because of the fact that foreign policy has direct implications on everything happening here, whether it's price of goods, whether it's, you know, us asking for a larger NDA, whatever it might be.

00:10:13.360 the price of gas, it's all correlated. And I think one of the biggest things right now that
00:10:17.400 people are not realizing is President Trump, if he wanted to actively engage in a World War III
00:10:22.000 scenario, would have actively gone into Ukraine in defense of them. And what I would say is that
00:10:27.020 right now with what happened with, you know, Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, and then also to
00:10:30.820 the president directing his special envoys to open up dialogue and try to get a peace deal with
00:10:35.640 Russia and Ukraine is incredible. And you are seeing the potential of a $2 trillion trade deal
00:10:39.840 that would greatly benefit the United States of America.
00:10:41.600 Well, and what's amazing too is because I heard that statement
00:10:43.980 by Jared Kushner, I believe it was in Ukraine,
00:10:46.840 and they had this press conference,
00:10:47.880 and he said there's no such thing as a forever enemy
00:10:50.820 and there's no such thing as a forever ally.
00:10:53.040 True.
00:10:53.400 And he made the point of Germany, and he said,
00:10:55.840 look, we're in NATO with Germany now,
00:10:58.220 but he dialed the clock back to World War II,
00:11:00.500 and we were obviously fierce enemies.
00:11:03.400 And so should we read into that
00:11:06.720 that potentially those conversations were perhaps in reference to Russia?
00:11:11.320 Well, I think it's deeper than that, though, because what we're finding is really up until,
00:11:15.580 you know, Bush, Clinton, they both had great relationships with Russia. And then you see
00:11:19.000 Obama come in and then you see, remember, Russia collusion, Steele dossier, all of that,
00:11:23.440 which was false information. And then we see, too, that the money that we sent in good faith
00:11:28.020 to Ukraine was then laundered back into Joe Biden's reelection campaign. And then in addition
00:11:32.200 to that, you're seeing that, you know, now the opportunity to actually have dialogue with,
00:11:36.420 By the way, this is not just a poor country. This is another nuclear superpower. And the thing that Secretary Rubio has said that I actually encourage other people to listen to is why would you not want to maintain dialogue with a country that has a big red button? You have to. If it's for the betterment of the entire country, we need to make sure that there's open dialogue.
00:11:53.340 And so I've, you know, in part been a part of some of those conversations.
00:11:57.300 And what I would say is that even with what's happening with the Iran situation right now, President Trump has still and is hoping for there to be an honored peace deal.
00:12:06.140 But ultimately, his position on that has not changed.
00:12:09.380 He's been very consistent with that.
00:12:10.860 And what I would say is the irony in all this is that the Democrats are saying, well, you know, we must continue to maintain and support the war in Ukraine.
00:12:18.480 but then they're against what's happening with Iran
00:12:21.260 when if you're going to maintain intellectual honesty
00:12:23.660 with both situations,
00:12:24.560 you would understand that in both situations
00:12:26.300 we should be leading with peace talks.

00:12:46.400 hearing directly in the president's no, no stranger to putting his opinions out there on
00:12:50.340 social media. Everyone reads his true social. But I think, you know, being able to have that
00:12:55.400 affirmation, because there is also a massive foreign influence operation happening right now
00:12:59.560 on the American people. And it's in part bot farming. It's in part, you know, these foreign
00:13:04.740 influencers getting paid lots of money. And so we're trying to push for disclosures on that as
00:13:09.440 well. So you this is something you've talked about. I know Daily Mail hits me up like once a
00:13:15.700 day talking about your your bill coming forward by the way and i'm like and i'm so clean so i'm
00:13:21.080 like bring it on yeah let's let's bring it on i would love to see and and so this tell us a little
00:13:26.060 bit about your initiative there yeah so fara was something that was established early on that was
00:13:30.940 supposed to require people that if they were lobbying or getting paid on behalf of a foreign
00:13:34.840 government to disclose it similar to how you have disclosures for if you're taking lobby money etc
00:13:39.740 and this was cold war era yes yeah so it's i mean it's been on the books for a while the issue is
00:13:44.240 is that our current legislation specifically pertaining to influencers is out of date
00:13:48.940 because when they're writing it, influencers didn't exist.
00:13:51.600 And also, too, we're finding out, I think Natalie had actually done a great piece
00:13:55.920 on the fact that there was a massive amount of reporters getting paid by the CCP
00:13:59.520 or at least on the payroll for them to write fluff pieces and not attack them.
00:14:03.220 But the same thing is happening.
00:14:04.320 An accepting trip.
00:14:04.820 Yes, and all of that.
00:14:05.700 It's a gift thing, right?
00:14:06.520 And so specifically pertaining to foreign policy, though,

00:14:17.600 So what it would simply do is update the FAR legislation to require influencers,
00:14:21.080 if they are getting paid, on behalf of a foreign government to disclose all of that.
00:14:24.300 And this is something that when I initially proposed it,
00:14:27.000 usually you don't have a lot of people that will sign on to a bill as an initial sponsor,
00:14:31.040 but we had a number of Democrats and Republicans sign on to it.
00:14:34.960 We also were contacted by two members of the Senate that think that it will go by voice in the Senate,
00:14:39.760 so they think it will be a unanimous vote.
00:14:41.940 And so we are asking House leadership to send it to markup, whether it's judiciary or foreign affairs, foreign affairs is where I said.
00:14:48.640 And if we can get a vote on that, because I think that this will impact directly our elections from here on out.
00:14:54.920 And it doesn't just stop there. We're also potentially considering doing it for influencers in politics in general.
00:14:59.620 But it's interesting. A lot of people that I thought would be excited about it, people that I know in the sector, went very quiet on it.

00:17:22.120 And also, too, though, there has to be an end in sight because the president doesn't want to see thousands upon thousands of young people dying on any side.
00:17:30.140 And I think that when people are advocating for a war that they're not themselves serving in or fighting in, and then they don't see how that's directly impacting.

00:17:43.080 Absolutely not. And it's something where as well that, you know, when you look at these things, they're totally the Democrats have been totally beholden to it.

00:18:12.680 Yeah. And even parts of NATO now are saying, like, look, we the energy impact of this because of the war is now negatively impacting them.
00:18:19.240 are like, we have to put an end to it. So please continue the conversations. But then you have kind
00:18:23.140 of outside forces that are controlling the media trying to undermine what Jared and Steve are doing
00:18:27.760 overseas currently. What I would say is that I've never voted for Ukraine funding, but I would like
00:18:33.700 to maintain dialogue and ensure that the negotiations are respected and honored. And so
00:18:39.960 that means talking to all sides. And so what I would say is there's a position and opportunity
00:18:44.220 for the people of Ukraine and the people of Russia
00:18:46.900 to trade and benefit with the United States,
00:18:49.740 putting our country, obviously,
00:18:51.500 first in perspective in these negotiations.
00:18:53.940 But peace is never a bad thing.

00:49:07.020 door and motivating and connecting a lot of these Republican voters with the idea that if you sit
00:49:13.200 out, if you stay home for the general election here in the midterms, it's going to be a problem.
