00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
00:00:39.800 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:46.520 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:50.120 Former President Donald Trump will debate Kamala Harris next month.
00:00:54.580 The decision comes after days of negotiations between the two campaigns over microphone muting.
00:01:01.220 The debate is scheduled for September 10th on ABC.
00:01:05.380 Special counsel Jack Smith has just filed a superseding indictment in the federal January 6th case.
00:01:10.920 Quote, today, a federal grand jury in the District of Columbia returned a superseding indictment charging the defendant with the same criminal offenses that were charged in the original indictment.
00:01:21.340 The superseding indictment, which was presented to a new grand jury that had not previously heard evidence in this case, reflects the government's efforts to respect and implement the Supreme Court's holding and remand instructions.
00:01:32.640 Statement from a spokesperson for the Secretary of State in Michigan, it reads,
00:01:36.860 Our office has received several complaints from Michigan voters concerned about text messages they've received regarding their voter registration status.
00:01:45.820 Our Office of Investigative Services is reviewing the complaints and will refer any suspected criminal activity to the Attorney General or other appropriate law enforcement agencies.
00:01:56.120 If someone were to violate the law and not certify the election at the local level, we will come for you.
00:02:03.960 So RFK Jr.'s campaign even asking, he urged state election officials to keep his name off the ballot after dropping out and endorsing former President Donald Trump.
00:02:13.500 But that's not going to happen.
00:02:14.840 The commission citing state law, essentially forcing their hand, they said, to keep Kennedy's name on the ballot, appoint a contention for the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
00:02:23.840 How many times have the members asked, are we prepared, are we prepared, are we prepared, we're not, we're calling the National Guard, now, we should have been here to start out.
00:02:42.640 Why weren't the National Guard there to begin with?
00:02:45.240 Well, there's not a question of how they have made, they don't know.
00:02:49.400 They clearly didn't know, and I take responsibility for not having them just prepared for more.
00:02:56.720 All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily Live, Washington, D.C.
00:03:00.860 Today is August 28, 24, Anno Domini.
00:03:03.580 Massive news today.
00:03:04.660 We have breaking story from humanevents.com.
00:03:08.420 We've got it here live and in real time.
00:03:12.040 We promised you, if you were following, that we would have news and we have brought the receipts.
00:03:16.500 The United States Attorney has impaneled a grand jury to consider criminal charges in the Trump assassination investigation.
00:03:24.660 So we knew already, and we've been circling around this for a few days now, that we knew that the father of Thomas Matthew Crooks had lawyered up.
00:03:36.720 We know that five Secret Service agents have been placed on leave.
00:03:42.000 We also know that numerous other angles are being investigated.
00:03:46.320 And so this comes to us by way of America First Legal, who filed a claim requesting records from the Community College of Allegheny County in response to Attorney Wiley Zimulong, which denied the records request.
00:04:02.440 So Crooks had been a student there up until May of 2024.
00:04:06.240 And so the records request specifically was for emails, text messages, student work, any, any information they had on his student records, potentially that he had the community college where he just graduated with an associate's degree.
00:04:22.080 Well, that was all denied.
00:04:24.720 By the way, they were also looking for potential disciplinary records.
00:04:28.360 They then wrote back from the Community College, be advised that your request is denied on the basis that it requests records that relate to an ongoing criminal investigation, which exempt from disclosure.
00:04:42.700 The purpose of, excuse me, the records you have requested are within the scope of a grand jury subpoena issued to the Community College of Allegheny County by the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania,
00:04:59.920 and which the U.S. Attorney's Office has confirmed relate to an ongoing criminal investigation.
00:05:05.760 The purpose of a federal grand jury is to consider criminal charges against a target or a range of targets.
00:05:12.360 This is the first indication that a grand jury has been empattled in the district to investigate and look at potential charges for the attempted assassination.
00:05:23.400 Now, of course, we all know what happened in that day, but there are still many, many questions yet to be seen what happened that day.
00:05:32.320 This is huge.
00:05:32.920 By the way, this information, as far as I know, was not provided to United States Congress.
00:05:37.540 This was not provided to the task force that was just in Butler a couple of days ago and, in fact, hasn't been released to anyone that's investigating this on the congressional side.
00:05:48.140 But we here at Human Events Daily are able to go, apparently, where other people aren't able to get.
00:05:54.000 And that is why we've got this information.
00:05:56.360 We need to know what is the government looking at?
00:05:58.960 Why are they telling us this?
00:06:00.500 Why aren't they giving us the answers?
00:06:02.900 And what exactly and who exactly are this grand jury going after?
00:06:07.260 Stay tuned.
00:06:07.620 Be right back.

00:08:23.480 We've got Vish Burra on who's joining us.
00:08:26.420 Vish, I got to say, look, we have this information out regarding the new scoop on the grand jury,
00:08:34.680 the fact that a grand jury has been empaneled in Western Pennsylvania.
00:08:37.540 Now, there's a number of questions this raises.
00:08:41.340 The government's been telling us all along, the FBI saying a lone wolf, lone wolf, lone wolf.
00:08:46.560 And now all of a sudden they're talking about criminal charges.
00:08:49.280 That's what a grand jury does.
00:08:51.460 So the question would be, who are the criminal charges going after?
00:08:56.500 Are we talking secret service?
00:08:57.820 Are we talking local police officers?
00:08:59.220 Are we talking perhaps the father who we know he and his wife have just lawyered up?
00:09:04.160 Or potentially, are we talking about accomplices?
00:09:07.580 Vish, what say you?
00:09:09.800 Well, I'm hoping that it's actually somebody in the CIA or something like that,
00:09:14.140 because there's too many questions that need to be answered.
00:09:16.420 And we've already seen bad faith actions taken by the Secret Service, the CIA, and all these folks.
00:09:24.420 Namely, you already have messages being deleted by the Secret Service already, including Kimberly Cheadle's.
00:09:31.720 I mean, this is just unacceptable.
00:09:33.420 It's literally guilty behavior.
00:09:35.380 So I'm hoping that that's the kind of stuff that's being brought up in this grand jury.
00:09:39.920 But, you know, there's so little faith in our institutions right now, especially the national security state and our intelligence agencies,
00:09:50.600 that I'm going to say that this is probably somewhere closer to home.
00:09:55.500 And this is maybe someone who is likely to, you know, maybe this is going to be the fall guy.
00:10:02.260 Because I think that there's been a ton of pressure created from the MAGA base, from Americans in general.
00:10:07.600 I mean, Democrats are not – there's, you know, some Democrats who are not taking this lightly either and want answers for what happened.
00:10:14.860 So I think that they're prepping basically to get a fall guy in line and, you know, and feed him to the masses and say,
00:10:22.620 hey, look, we dealt with this, we took care of this, this is the guy, here's some criminal charges, and basically make him a fall guy.
00:10:30.280 Give them that so they don't have to explain the larger picture of what actually went on behind the scenes,
00:10:35.720 especially with the Secret Service, the local police, and et cetera.
00:10:40.820 Yeah, Vish, one of the – and look, you know, I have to say that the leading, as far as I'm concerned –
00:10:45.880 by the way, I just realized, saw in the wide shot there, your collection of MAGA hats back there.
00:10:50.920 That is quite formidable.
00:10:53.100 I believe that Space Force you've got front and center, is that right?
00:10:56.160 And then I see the Iowa – the Iowa Team Trump captain hat and, of course, dark MAGA right there, very – featured very prominently.
00:11:04.340 I've got mine – I've got mine somewhere around here.
00:11:06.340 But look, the reason that I think it's the father, number one, is the fact that we know that he's lawyered up recently.
00:11:15.140 But also, what do we know?
00:11:17.340 The feds told us very early on that one of the searches that Thomas Matthew Crooks had made prior to the shooting –
00:11:25.140 yes, we know his final search was for pornography.
00:11:27.860 So he goes off to shoot the former president of the United States, and his final search result is pornography.
00:11:34.120 So apparently it wasn't just eight shots that he took off that date.
00:11:36.840 It was nine.
00:11:37.480 And also, though – also – no, no, no, no, hold on, hold on.
00:11:43.040 But the other side piece of this is that – and not to mention Kamala Harris – but the other piece of this is that we know that the feds told us he was searching what?
00:11:54.760 Ethan Crumbly.
00:11:56.280 Now, why is Ethan Crumbly significant?
00:11:57.640 Because Ethan Crumbly was – I think it was Michigan, was a school shooter, and it wasn't just Ethan Crumbly who they went after.
00:12:06.040 It was also his parents.
00:12:08.400 So this was sort of the new standard that happened during all of it where his parents were then charged.
00:12:15.160 And it was the feds that told us initially about that.
00:12:18.520 So this potentially could be the situation going on with his father.
00:12:23.360 Plus, we also know, by the way, that his father called police, Matthew Crooks.
00:12:29.920 And, by the way, so the son is Thomas Matthew Crooks.
00:12:32.480 The father is Matthew Crooks.
00:12:34.040 So, not to get that mixed up for folks.
00:12:36.780 So, the father calls police after the shooting, potentially minutes after the shooting.
00:12:43.440 What?
00:12:43.940 That's kind of suspicious.
00:12:45.500 Why would he call police to say that he was worried about his son and that his son was missing after the shooting?
00:12:52.060 So, you know, you could say, well – you know, I mean, think about it, Bish.
00:12:55.360 If you know someone in their 20s and you haven't seen them for a couple hours, is your first thought to call the cops?
00:13:01.240 Does that really make sense?
00:13:03.500 No, absolutely not.
00:13:04.780 I think, obviously, he knew something was – I think the father definitely knew something was up with his son.
00:13:10.560 I think that, you know, basically what we've already learned about the relationship between, you know, Matthew Crooks and Thomas Matthew Crooks, I mean, you know, outside of being the father, but obviously how, you know, how intertwined and close they are.
00:13:26.360 I mean, it's feasible that the grand jury could be in panel to bring this gentleman, you know, this gentleman in.
00:13:34.260 But I also think that there's something dangerous to that.
00:13:36.500 I mean, you just pointed out that Ethan Crumley, you know, mentioned that, you know, these school shootings and these mass shooters come along and, you know, they usually die on the spot or they're taken out.
00:13:48.280 And now they're trying to go after the parents.
00:13:50.500 You know, this is going to be used as a wide justification, you know, to go after these incel types, especially types that are watching pornography before they go out and pull off mass shootings.
00:14:03.500 So, again, this is just, I think, an exercise of jurisdiction by the state.
00:14:11.220 Now, look, I'm not saying whether Matthew Crooks is guilty or not guilty, but I'm saying follow the pattern, follow the signal.
00:14:18.600 What is being presented in front of you, but also what is not being presented in front of you.
00:14:24.560 And so I think that if it only comes down to what, you know, if the accountability factor only comes down to the father, I think that there's still a disservice being done to the American people by not also answering the systemic failures that even facilitated such an event to happen.
00:14:43.280 I mean, if the if the if the simple if the simple perimeter was properly secured, a lot of this problem would have would have never happened.
00:14:52.160 And we would have been we may not even be having this conversation.
00:14:55.100 But that's that's those are the kind of questions we also want answers to.
00:14:59.240 It's not just who did this, but how did this happen?
00:15:02.620 Not just on a micro scale, but a macro scale.
00:15:05.220 Well, this, you know, it's interesting you mentioned that because President Trump was on Dr. Phil yesterday.
00:15:10.960 I know a lot of people are watching that interview.
00:15:12.540 He's done a lot of these lately.
00:15:13.440 But one of the things that he said on Dr. Phil, which he actually took things a step further than he has.
00:15:20.080 I've seen even on some of the true social posts because Dr. Phil asked him a question.
00:15:24.120 Do you think there were Democrats who maybe and Dr. Phil asked him, he says, maybe they weren't in on it.
00:15:30.140 But do you think that they wanted you dead, that they wanted you shot?
00:15:34.460 And President Trump responded, saying that, look, you see the rhetoric that they make, that they say I'm a threat to democracy.
00:15:40.100 And then I'll pull up the exact quote.
00:15:42.060 But he said something along the lines of they didn't give us the security that we wanted the employment court right now.
00:15:50.680 They were making it very difficult to have proper staffing in terms of secret service.
00:15:54.900 So he specifically references the fact that they were going back to the Biden administration and saying we'd.
00:15:59.520 And there's multiple reports about many times that they suggested this and requested more security.
00:16:05.120 And they were denied by the Biden administration.
00:16:07.140 We know Dr. Jill Biden had an event down the road that day.
00:16:10.280 And this is something that by the way, Congressman Matt Gaetz was doing a fantastic job with this J13 panel the other day, saying,
00:16:16.280 at what point do we say that there wasn't any level of intent?
00:16:20.160 So we see President Trump making that same charge, saying, look, they they see the environment with the rhetoric.
00:16:25.360 Then they deny the requests for extra security.
00:16:28.320 And you mean to tell me there's no element of intent there.
00:16:32.100 Well, that's exactly right.
00:16:33.880 I mean, not only that, we've had, you know, Darren Beattie report recently that, you know,
00:16:40.020 the Secret Service had to rely on some agents from Department of Homeland Services HSI unit to fill the gap there.
00:16:48.940 Based on the staff, the lack of staffing that was even available that day, that period.
00:16:53.960 And overall, just how the staffing concerns of the campaign were handled throughout the length of the campaign.
00:17:03.000 So I again, this this sticks to high heaven.
00:17:06.220 And everyone knows it, Jack.
00:17:08.580 That's the problem.
00:17:09.640 That's why even these answers, these answers, the grand jury being impaneled right now, it's simply not enough.
00:17:18.560 It's it's not just about grand jury.
00:17:20.960 We need a commission.
00:17:22.380 There should have been this should have been the easiest legislation to pass a long time ago.
00:17:26.580 As soon as it happened, the Congress should have came back, passed legislation for a president, a presidential appointed commission as it was done during the Warren Commission.
00:17:36.660 And get real people there, real experts, real people with interest, make it a whole of government.
00:17:44.000 It should have been a whole of government approach to answer what exactly happened on J-13.
00:17:50.540 That is the the the end all be all of it.
00:17:54.720 And look, this is just simply not enough.
00:17:56.760 Yes.
00:17:57.280 Good.
00:17:57.600 Progress is good.
00:17:59.080 But this is not enough.
00:18:00.220 Not at the not at the pace of what the president's life is still in danger.
00:18:04.540 Precisely.
00:18:05.120 Quick break.
00:18:05.700 Right back.
00:18:06.300 Vish bro.
00:18:10.420 In the hood, I rolled with bloods.
00:18:12.860 And them boys had a saying.
00:18:14.700 You can't be listening to all that slappy whack trim out his outlet to bam ship.
00:18:19.200 Nippy bam bam.

00:19:52.380 So we've heard more now about the U.S. attorney, the potential for charges.
00:19:58.340 Hopefully this is something that U.S. congressmen, U.S. senators can get involved in.
00:20:02.800 One of the other big pieces that President Trump announced last week when he brought RFK on stage at the Turning Point Rally there in Phoenix, Arizona,
00:20:11.980 was to announce that he would be opening up a presidential commission on assassinations and assassination attempts
00:20:18.760 and that it would be headed by RFK with full declassification authority.
00:20:23.740 Look, bringing RFK on board, the ability to look into these things, to ask these questions that haven't been asked before,
00:20:31.300 that have really been left by the wayside since 1963, by the way.
00:20:36.780 Talk to me, now with Tulsi getting on board, talk to me about how this creates a new opportunity for Americans to become part of the MAGA movement.
00:20:46.000 Well, you see exactly what President Trump is doing right now, and he's been doing it on the road since he started this campaign.
00:20:55.860 I mean, look, he went to the Jersey Shore, the Bronx Rally.
00:20:59.960 He has made every overture to every American available since the very beginning of this campaign
00:21:07.140 and has gone places and done things that has never been done before on a presidential campaign.
00:21:12.700 And now you have folks like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. coming on and endorsing him.
00:21:18.380 You have Tulsi Gabbard coming on.
00:21:20.500 RFK said that there's more Democrats coming on.
00:21:23.500 You really see that there is a dichotomy that is clearly being shown to the American people right now
00:21:33.140 of a unity party versus the uniparty, right?
00:21:37.000 You have this instance where you have these Democrats, these folks who want to get real answers to real problems
00:21:44.520 coming out and endorsing Donald Trump.
00:21:47.380 Whereas on the other side, you have the folks like the 200 Republicans, including Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney,
00:21:53.320 and others coming out to endorse Kamala Harris.
00:21:57.660 What you're seeing now is just a mess.
00:22:01.340 So in 2020, when the Hunter Biden laptop happened, that was a mask-off moment brought to you by the deep state.
00:22:09.660 Now what you have is a mask-off moment.
00:22:11.680 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Vish, don't bury the lead.
00:22:14.140 Don't bury the lead.
00:22:15.240 Was the Hunter Biden laptop story brought only by the deep state?
00:22:18.700 Or was there anyone that you know who may have had an integral role in bringing that story to light?
00:22:24.540 It was us, obviously.
00:22:25.940 But the shutting down on us was the mask-off moment by the deep state.
00:22:31.420 Which Zuckerberg has now come forward and said, yeah, my B, my B, my B, my blunder.
00:22:36.280 Oops.
00:22:38.360 I'm still waiting for my sorry letter.
00:22:40.620 But, you know, when they called me a wrong running asset.
00:22:42.940 But now what you're seeing is a mask-off campaign brought to you by the Uniparty in Kamala Harris and Waltz.
00:22:53.000 And these are the folks that are going to make sure that none of these questions get answered.
00:22:58.100 They're going to make sure your border stays wide open and illegals are going to be not just flooding your towns,
00:23:05.280 but also flooding your ballot box.
00:23:07.720 And so, like, this is where this fight has never been more clear.
00:23:12.440 The regime is masked off iron fists.
00:23:15.640 It does not care if you can see it.
00:23:17.660 The Uniparty does not care if you can see it.
00:23:20.620 They have, now more than ever, they are in your grill.
00:23:24.140 They are up in your face letting you know that they can do whatever they want.
00:23:28.740 They can select their nominee, okay?
00:23:31.400 They can, they don't have, they're not even interested in pressing harder to get her on TV.
00:23:36.740 They will take her coming on with an emotional support puppy like Tim Waltz onto her first interview after a month with Dana Bash.
00:23:46.200 Of all people, Dana Bash.
00:23:48.320 Not only did she say that there was no evidence that the Hunter Biden laptop was real,
00:23:53.500 but her ex is one of the signatories on the 51, former intelligence.
00:23:59.340 Jeremy Bash was one of the 51 intelligence agents who signed the letter on the Hunter Biden laptop.
00:24:06.700 Which, by the way, folks, you know, you didn't totally say it there, but,
00:24:10.180 so Vish is the guy who brought the laptop, the hard drive at the time, to the, not the Washington Post,
00:24:17.100 because they weren't interested, but Vish brought it up to New York, brought it to the New York Post.
00:24:21.920 He's the one who gave me my copy.
00:24:23.600 He was the, Vish was like the, like the Johnny Appleseed of Hunter Biden laptops,
00:24:28.160 just kind of going around and like, here's some for you, here's some for you,
00:24:31.740 and putting it around everywhere after, after Steve and Rudy initially got it,
00:24:36.140 that Vish was the guy who was sort of just like, you were the, you became a new version of dealer for Hunter Biden,
00:24:44.280 which was a little bit different than the previous dealer he was working with.
00:24:47.800 That's right. I had a little experience, so you knew, I knew what I was doing in both software
00:24:52.900 and the dealing of certain commodities.
00:24:57.600 And the Hunter Biden laptop was hot when we had it, and it's always been hot,
00:25:02.180 and now it's hotter than ever, because they have no choice but to admit the truth and say that it was real.
00:25:08.460 And now we need to hold them all to an account, because this is not,
00:25:12.620 this is a grave injustice that's been carried out on the American people,
00:25:17.060 and there needs to be accountability.
00:25:19.160 We talk about retribution viscerally, but logically, we need to talk about accountability.
00:25:25.880 There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
00:25:27.760 So speaking of the Uniparty, there was something that I discussed yesterday here on the program,
00:25:32.620 was this new story that Mitch McConnell apparently does not support Speaker Johnson's plan.
00:25:38.600 And Speaker Johnson has brought this up, and Mike Lee has brought this up,
00:25:41.380 Senator Mike Lee, Elon Musk is on board.
00:25:43.860 It's regarding the SAVE Act.
00:25:45.260 And the idea is, so the SAVE Act is a nationwide citizenship verification for voting.
00:25:51.360 Non-partisan, a completely non-partisan idea.
00:25:55.540 It has nothing to do with Republican or Democrat.
00:25:58.780 It's citizen versus non-citizen, citizen versus foreigner.
00:26:02.700 And foreigners should not be voting in our elections.
00:26:04.800 It's that simple.
00:26:06.280 And yet, it's not going to pass in the Senate because the Democrats don't want it.
00:26:10.320 Joe Biden says that he would veto it.
00:26:12.580 So what do you do?
00:26:13.320 Well, we know there's a spending package coming up at the end of September
00:26:17.580 because that's when government funding runs out.
00:26:19.500 You and I both know that our friend Stephen K. Bannon, who's currently behind bars,
00:26:23.160 and I've spoken to him about this, would be pounding the table,
00:26:26.400 saying the SAVE Act must be included.
00:26:29.540 Save it or shut it down.
00:26:31.100 Save it or shut it down.
00:26:32.780 Save the Republic or shut it down by putting the SAVE Act in the budget.
00:26:36.640 And yet, Mitch McConnell says that he's against that.
00:26:40.040 Fish, why would Mitch McConnell be against something that we know would help secure our elections,
00:26:47.300 not just in the future, but for this election, which is happening in just about eight weeks?
00:26:52.220 It's really simple, Jack.
00:26:55.700 I mean, we all know the Senate's a retirement home.
00:26:57.940 And honestly, Mitch just wants to get through the year, get through the election,
00:27:01.900 get his new majority, theoretical new majority, quietly and as painlessly as possible,
00:27:09.220 because that is the way that Washington, D.C. works to guys like McConnell and his wing of the party.
00:27:15.380 And he's one of the architects of making D.C. work this way,
00:27:19.700 where it's always served the lobbyists in the least painful way for everyone as possible.
00:27:26.340 And so that and this is what and he understands also what he's dealing with in the House.
00:27:32.540 You know, I'm sorry to say it, but, you know, in Mike Johnson,
00:27:35.820 really what we're dealing with is we're looking for the power of a punk to properly leverage the power of the purse.
00:27:45.980 And you know what?
00:27:46.980 I don't really have faith in Johnson's ability to actually, as the speaker,
00:27:52.420 to actually properly leverage the power of the purse in this situation.
00:27:56.960 He needs to stand up to Mitch McConnell right now.
00:27:59.760 If he has to get into a staring contest with him, do it.
00:28:02.820 Do whatever is necessary in order.
00:28:05.540 It's a level up.
00:28:06.440 What imagine what a level up that would be for Johnson.
00:28:10.000 That's right.
00:28:11.080 If there was any moment Mike Johnson wanted to prove his his worth, his salt to this republic, to this nation,
00:28:19.200 it's to make sure that he can stand on something very simple as I will not allow another budget to be passed out of this house
00:28:28.200 unless they get guarantees that the Save Act is going to be attached to these spending bills
00:28:33.820 and make sure that the citizens of America and the integrity of their vote and the integrity of their elections are protected.
00:28:41.540 And so what we need is Mike Johnson to to really, really, really think about who he wants to be,
00:28:49.100 who he wants to be remembered as.
00:28:50.840 He has to understand this government doesn't work for any American anyway,
00:28:55.380 and we're pretty much all in agreement on that.
00:28:58.360 Shut it down.
00:28:59.400 There's no.
00:29:00.280 This is the if there was any moment where the political capital and the political will for Mike Johnson to go tell Mitch McConnell
00:29:09.860 to essentially, you know, go go flunk yourself.
00:29:14.540 This is the time.
00:29:15.660 And so I'm really hoping Mike Johnson can show that he's got another gear in that engine,
00:29:21.980 because right, like I said, you know, right as it stands right now.
00:29:25.720 I'm right there with you to do that to do this.
00:29:28.520 No, Vish, I'm right there with you.
00:29:30.360 He has to show the Senate that he is not going to take any of their schlitt.
00:29:35.080 He's got to tell them that he is the Speaker of the House,
00:29:39.120 that spending originates in the House and the House gets to decide because they are the representatives of the American people.
00:29:46.920 Vish, tell people where they can go to follow you and get access to your writings.
00:29:51.920 Yeah, you can follow me on Twitter at Vish Burra, V-I-S-H-B-U-R-R-A, on Truth Social at Vish.
00:29:59.760 And please, guys, also follow all the good work of the New York Young Republicans Club.
00:30:04.300 We're out there fighting every day for President Trump and hoping that we can turn a big blue stadium.
00:30:09.220 Where Stephen K. Bannon is going to be the keynote speaker at the gala.
00:30:13.640 It's coming up this December.
00:30:16.300 The best gala of the season.
00:30:18.340 Make sure you're there, folks.
00:30:19.540 I know I'll be there with Tanya Tay.
00:30:21.320 Folks, Mike Davis is up with us next.
00:30:23.260 We're going to talk all about this grand jury and what it might mean.
00:30:25.560 Stay tuned.
00:30:28.360 Where is Jack?
00:30:30.700 Where is Jack?
00:30:33.020 Where is he?
00:30:34.320 Jack, I want to see you.
00:30:37.980 Great job, Jack.
00:30:39.380 Thank you.
00:30:40.140 What a job you do.
00:30:41.560 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:30:42.960 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad.
00:30:45.260 But we have guys.
00:30:46.800 And these are the guys who should be getting Pulisic.
00:30:50.860 You know, guys, by the way, I mentioned the New York Republican Gala.
00:30:53.900 That when we do the where's Jack, where's Jack, that was, when President Trump says that, that was the last New York Republican Gala.
00:31:01.720 So you never know what's going to happen at one of those.
00:31:03.980 You got to check it out.
00:31:05.260 Folks, how do you survive a communist apocalypse?
00:31:08.360 Well, you watch human events daily every day.
00:31:10.340 Check.
00:31:10.840 You follow Poso on X.
00:31:13.280 Check.
00:31:13.880 You order on humans on Amazon.
00:31:17.180 Check.
00:31:17.420 Look, but there's one thing, one thing that you're forgetting, and it could make the biggest difference in your future and your family's financial future.
00:31:25.100 And that's checking out today's show sponsor, Allegiance Gold.
00:31:28.780 Look, I love Allegiance Gold.
00:31:30.260 We use them.
00:31:31.120 You guys should, too, because in 2020, we know that Bidenomics has obliterated the American economy.
00:31:37.120 I feel it.
00:31:37.740 You guys feel it.
00:31:38.440 We all feel it.
00:31:39.340 Kamala Harris is going to do even worse.
00:31:41.160 Imagine what four years of her comrade Kamala policies are going to do to increase the rates, increase debt, and increase labor disputes.
00:31:49.360 You need something stable so that you can take a breath and know that the money you earned and the retirement that you worked so hard for is going to be safe.
00:31:57.840 You've got to proactively protect your assets so that when the supply chains get rocked and Kamala decides to print a few more trillion-dollar bills, it won't impact your family's bottom line.
00:32:09.860 And the only way to do that is with the one true beacon of stability that so many patriots use to preserve their wealth.
00:32:16.900 And that, my friends, is gold.
00:32:18.720 Over the last five years, it has almost doubled in value.
00:32:21.920 And with the way things are looking, the sky is the limit for gold.
00:32:25.120 Allegiance Gold has done things the right way from the beginning, so it's no coincidence that they've earned the highest trust ratings in the precious metals industry.
00:32:33.620 I'm talking five stars with TrustLink and an A-plus with a better business bureau.
00:32:38.560 Allegiance Gold can help protect your IRA or 401k with physical gold and silver, or you can have it delivered securely directly to your doorstep.
00:32:47.280 You can also get, check us out, guys, for the Human Events Daily audience, $5,000 in free silver on a qualifying investment when you go where?

00:33:02.100 Don't risk your financial future.
00:33:03.780 Betting against these forces, act today.
00:33:06.040 ProtectWithPoso.com.
00:33:07.120 That's ProtectWithPoso.com.
00:33:09.200 The number, 844-577-POSO.
00:33:13.440 All right, guys, do we have Mike Davis?
00:33:15.340 Is Mike Davis up?
00:33:17.280 All right, let's get him in here.
00:33:19.360 Mike Davis, I know we've only got you for one segment, but I've got to get your reaction to this breaking news.
00:33:24.940 And, you know, full disclosure, I did call Mike and let him know about the story just prior to the show here.
00:33:30.580 The breaking news, though, that we have out that a grand jury has been empaneled in western Pennsylvania
00:33:35.980 and potentially looking at criminal charges in the Trump attempted assassination.
00:33:39.920 So the assassin's dead, so who could this grand jury be looking to investigate and indict it?
00:33:49.580 Are there other people involved with this assassination plot?
00:33:53.420 Are they looking at family members under some theory of neglect with the gun?
00:33:59.300 I'm not sure where this is heading, but it seems like there are other people involved in this assassination plot.
00:34:07.660 And so walk us through really quick, how does a grand jury work?
00:34:13.560 Could the grand jury just be done for the purpose of issuing subpoenas, or is the grand jury always done with looking at potential targets?
00:34:21.260 Well, I mean, with the grand jury, you're looking at potential violations of criminal statutes.
00:34:29.640 And so you just can't have robing grand juries to gather information that the investigation by the grand jury has to be in furtherance
00:34:37.600 of the investigation of criminal activities so you can go to charges, right?
00:34:43.080 And if the assassin's dead, who are they investigating?
00:34:46.700 And that's something that I've been looking at.
00:34:51.380 Look, so obviously we heard earlier this week that the father had lawyered up,
00:34:57.740 and he's got this pretty high dollar, pretty high profile firm that they're looking at.
00:35:02.320 And so that would be the biggest one that jumps out at me because we have this information.
00:35:06.260 I believe that was from Daily Mail.
00:35:07.500 A family member had said so.
00:35:09.220 But then again, and going back to the sort of Ethan Crumbly statute, we would, or standard,
00:35:14.160 we would then have to know, okay, what exactly was his involvement?
00:35:17.720 Because if this was just neglect, there's been some reporting that the son had purchased the gun from his father
00:35:25.260 and paid him money for it, but the father hadn't signed it over or something like that.
00:35:29.560 That being said, though, where's the criminal liability if he didn't actually know that the attempt was going on?
00:35:37.400 Yeah, we have to be very careful about even insinuating that this father has committed a crime.
00:35:44.300 I haven't seen any evidence that he's committed any crime.
00:35:47.840 This son is 20 years old, so this father didn't have a legal duty as a parent for a 20-year-old son.
00:35:57.600 Now, if there's an issue where there's known mental illness and there's known violence and this father gave him the gun,
00:36:05.880 and that's one thing, but we have to be very careful about this.
00:36:08.380 I don't, you know, let's see where this investigation leads.
00:36:12.820 Just because he hired an attorney doesn't mean that he's a target of any investigation.
00:36:19.220 He may have just hired an attorney to be very careful when he's talking to investigators.
00:36:23.820 I mean, as we discussed, Jack, he did call the police and alert the police about the son.
00:36:30.960 I mean, maybe that shows he had some knowledge that the son was dangerous, or maybe he was after the fact.
00:36:35.700 Let's just see where the facts are and not imply that this father's culpable for any crime.
00:36:42.240 Well, no, and certainly I wouldn't want to imply that either.
00:36:45.640 My implication is simply trying to figure out where things go, and I'm going based off of the data that is coming out.
00:36:52.180 And again, I'm not necessarily sure that, so they could be looking at the father, but again, you know, my question is, if that were so, where's the criminal liability?
00:37:01.520 Because, as you say, he alerted the police that his son's whereabouts were suspicious.
00:37:07.040 My question, of course, would be, you know, if his son would just happen to be missing on a Saturday afternoon, 20 years old,
00:37:12.480 and he knows that his son goes to the shooting range, the son had been at the shooting range the day before, why call police?
00:37:19.460 Now, of course, he saw the video, and this was after the Trump shooting,
00:37:23.920 so the father had some reason to believe that that may have, in fact, been his son, and indeed, that was the case.
00:37:32.160 I suppose the question then would be, what was that indication?
00:37:35.940 And that said, though, to your point, you know, this could be, they could be looking at the Secret Service agents,
00:37:42.940 they could be looking at local police, and this would essentially be the standard of raising something from negligence to criminal negligence.
00:37:52.820 Isn't that right?
00:37:54.160 Yeah, that's correct.
00:37:55.140 I mean, you have to remember that Americans generally do not have a duty to stop crimes.
00:38:01.360 They don't have a duty to rescue unless there is a specific duty upon you that, you know, for example,
00:38:09.300 if you have a duty to rescue because you're a parent, you know, just as a general matter,
00:38:15.240 and you may have a moral duty, like if you see a kid drowning, you have a moral duty to jump in and save that kid from drowning,
00:38:23.120 but most of the time you don't have a legal duty, and that's kind of shocking for a lot of people.
00:38:27.940 In this father's case, unless you can show that this father had some sort of obligation to intervene and stop his 20-year-old son from, you know,
00:38:40.180 having this gun or even committing this crime, we have to be very careful about that.
00:38:45.740 Again, there's a big difference between a moral duty and a legal duty.
00:38:48.840 And that said, so looking at the U.S. attorneys, I happen to look it up.
00:38:55.160 So this U.S. attorney was appointed by Joe Biden.
00:38:57.960 That means he does essentially fall under Merrick Garland, and this is the same Merrick Garland who hasn't exactly been forthcoming when it comes to, put it this way, he's a very partisan guy.
00:39:09.080 I think you said things a little bit more spicy than that regarding Merrick Garland.
00:39:13.000 He's a total partisan hack, and we dodged a legal bullet by Mitch McConnell and my former boss, Chuck Grassley,
00:39:24.480 blocking his appointment to the Supreme Court because he tried to pretend like he's this old-school liberal, moderate liberal.
00:39:31.700 He is a partisan activist who's done more damage to this country than any attorney general in our history by politicizing and weaponizing the Biden-Kamala Justice Department to go after Trump,
00:39:45.880 his top aides like Steve Bannon, who's sitting in prison right now, Peter Navarro, who went to prison, Trump's lawyers, John Eastman, Jeffrey Clark, Rudy Giuliani.
00:39:54.780 He politically persecuted Trump supporters on January 6th, and I don't say that lightly, but the Fisher decision out of the Supreme Court recently just made very clear that Merrick Garland politicized, weaponized, contorted a post-Enron obstruction of justice statute intended to go after corporate fraud,
00:40:14.220 to go after Trump and Trump supporters on January 6th.
00:40:18.100 We just saw this with Jack Smith's superseding indictment against Trump.
00:40:22.840 Merrick Garland had to personally sign off on that.
00:40:26.860 And this superseding indictment by Jack Smith, after Jack Smith got smoked at the Supreme Court, he's coming back like he didn't lose the Fisher case.
00:40:35.220 The Biden Justice Department didn't lose the Fisher case, and Jack Smith didn't lose the presidential.
00:40:39.800 Just more, more election interference.
00:40:43.040 Mike Davis, thanks for jumping on last notice. Really appreciate it, man.
00:40:45.060 In my ear about the boring people at your office, I'm trying to listen to the new human events with Jack Posobiec.
00:40:56.700 All right, Jack Posobiec, we're back here live, Human Events Daily.
00:41:01.900 By the way, if anyone has any questions or wants to get more info, or if you have info, by the way, about grand juries or anything related to Thomas Matthew Crooks,
00:41:10.920 we're not dropping that story, and we know that you don't want us to.
00:41:14.920 So it's 1776 at humanevents.com, 1776 at humanevents.com.
00:41:20.540 Joining us now is the executive producer of the new documentary, Culture War, The Deadly Consequences of a Woke War Machine.
00:41:30.720 You know him. I know him. He's my friend. His name is Terry Schilling, and he joins us now.
00:41:34.980 Terry, how's it going?
00:41:36.820 Thanks so much for having me, Jack.
00:41:38.140 So usually when we have you on, we're talking about family, or we're talking about, you know, trans and women's sports.
00:41:46.580 This is a different type of subject for you, but it is actually related.
00:41:52.020 Tell us about the film and everything they need to know about it.
00:41:57.680 Well, first and foremost, Jack, this documentary is something that has blown even my mind.
00:42:03.420 It started off small. We were filming commercials with, we got in contact with five Gold Star families from the Afghanistan withdrawal.
00:42:13.620 And we kept listening to their stories, and they were gut-wrenching and heartbreaking.
00:42:17.840 And we kept thinking, like, there's a bigger story here, right?
00:42:21.140 Their essential message, when we wanted to get their actual words, right?
00:42:24.200 I didn't tell them what to say, but we all know that the military has gone woke, at least at the top, right?
00:42:29.300 The guys that are signing up every day, they're strong, they love this country, that they're joining it in spite of the woke, weak leadership that we have.
00:42:37.620 But their message was all very similar, which was, you know, if Joe Biden wasn't so focused on this culture war that he's been waging against our servicemen and women,
00:42:48.120 we would have had a better withdrawal, a more successful withdrawal from Afghanistan.
00:42:51.620 And my kid might not be dead.
00:42:54.420 And we kept hearing the same thing over and over again.
00:42:58.440 And by the end of it, we thought, we have to tell this full story.
00:43:01.380 And we rounded up members of Congress and senators.
00:43:03.960 We even got President Trump in this.
00:43:05.580 We got military members.
00:43:06.680 We got actual veterans who were on the ground there telling their stories.
00:43:10.160 But the message is very simple, Jack.
00:43:13.040 These guys at the top in our military have become so woke, so out of touch.
00:43:18.540 They hate the people that have been signing up.
00:43:21.240 They don't want the people that have been signing up to serve this country to serve.
00:43:23.940 They want other people.
00:43:25.280 They want the people that hate our country to join, right?
00:43:28.040 And that's a pretty tough task.
00:43:29.500 That's why we have incredible recruitment shortfalls.
00:43:32.660 But, you know, this is a family issue.
00:43:34.400 A strong military is the ultimate family issue.
00:43:36.800 One, it's about safety.
00:43:38.440 I want to be safe.
00:43:39.240 I want my kids to be safe and secure in this country.
00:43:41.620 But two, Jack, I didn't get the privilege to serve.
00:43:44.360 I didn't have that honor.
00:43:45.080 I would love for my kids to serve our country in the military, in the Navy, in the Army, in the Marine Corps, right?
00:43:51.800 But I don't want them serving under a woke leadership.
00:43:53.940 Whoa, whoa, Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry, don't.
00:43:56.320 You left one out there, brother.
00:43:58.240 The Space Force.
00:44:01.860 I also didn't include the Air Force.
00:44:03.960 And I have some really good friends there as well.
00:44:06.740 But, you know, I.
00:44:07.640 Low flying chair force.
00:44:08.520 Okay, all right.
00:44:11.600 No, but this is.
00:44:12.980 These are important stories to tell.
00:44:14.480 People need to know that Kamala Harris was just as complicit in this disastrous pullout and that we are going to have a lot more of this going forward if we don't change up who's in that Oval Office, our commander in chief.
00:44:28.180 Look, we saw President Trump there at Arlington for that memorial.
00:44:33.020 And, by the way, I'll just announce, we haven't said this publicly yet, that we will have the Gold Star mother-in-law, Christy Shamblin, who is the mother-in-law of Sergeant Nicole Gee, is going to be here on the show on Friday.
00:44:47.740 So she'll be here.
00:44:49.080 Obviously, we're going through the anniversary of this.
00:44:51.860 They're going through the anniversary of this.
00:44:54.080 President Trump, the only one who showed up at Arlington for the memorial.
00:44:58.740 And people want to forget.
00:45:00.860 They want to forget these things have happened.
00:45:02.860 And they want to forget the fact that.
00:45:04.580 And, Terry, talk to me about how.
00:45:07.620 You notice who else who wasn't there that day?
00:45:09.760 All the people who spread the suckers and losers hoax.
00:45:12.820 All those people who are the same people that send our boys and girls over to fight in the sandbox, over to fight to get blown up and blown apart and put into these crazy situations that they find themselves in.
00:45:26.520 All the people that send them there that advocate for these endless wars all the time.
00:45:31.260 Nikki Haley wasn't there.
00:45:32.820 I didn't see General Kelly there.
00:45:34.240 I didn't see any of the Neo.
00:45:35.140 Bill Kristol wasn't there.
00:45:36.400 David French wasn't there.
00:45:37.460 I didn't see any of these guys there.
00:45:38.820 Terry, how come none of them were there?
00:45:42.020 Jack, I think we know that for so many people in our government and even at the Department of Defense that this isn't a service.
00:45:49.700 This isn't about serving your country.
00:45:51.500 It's not about sacrificing for the next generation.
00:45:54.980 For them, it's an industry.
00:45:57.240 They're making money off of this.
00:45:58.620 They're getting clicks online off of this.
00:46:00.280 They're getting on CNN and MSNBC.
00:46:02.180 They're getting praise.
00:46:03.220 They're getting book deals off of this.
00:46:05.020 Jack, the whole idea that President Trump, of all people, would call our men and women that paid the ultimate price, that he would call them suckers and losers.
00:46:14.140 The World War II veterans, right?
00:46:15.900 The people that died in World War II, the greatest generation, that he would call these people suckers and losers is such an unbelievable lie.
00:46:22.660 And it's egregious.
00:46:24.140 I mean, look, I'll tell you, I had the privilege.
00:46:27.160 He sat down with us for this documentary.
00:46:28.920 We had 45 minutes with him.
00:46:30.860 I've never met someone more in command, more humble, actually.
00:46:35.460 I mean, look, he brags on the stage.
00:46:37.100 He brags on the campaign trail.
00:46:38.460 But he's talking about what he's done for our country.
00:46:41.060 But this was a guy who was asking a lot of questions.
00:46:43.600 Very thoughtful.
00:46:44.620 He's in charge.
00:46:45.980 And he loves our country.
00:46:47.360 He was solemn.
00:46:48.080 He wasn't being nasty about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and what they've done to our military.
00:46:52.540 He was solemn.
00:46:53.500 It was like he was sad for what has happened in this country because we let the mainstream legacy media that hates all of us tell the story that he's corrupt and that he thinks our men and women in uniform are suckers and losers.
00:47:06.380 We all know the truth.
00:47:07.420 He was at all of those ceremonies with the men and women that have served this country and gave the old food to sacrifice.
00:47:13.100 And it's just it's incredible that we allow this stuff to go on in our legacy.
00:47:17.340 One story, by the way, that that President Trump, even even he doesn't do a great job of telling this.
00:47:22.560 And, you know, maybe the campaign can dig up some of the footage.
00:47:25.180 But he saved the World War Two parade in New York City back in the 1990s.
00:47:30.840 And he got his buddies to donate a bunch of money.
00:47:32.940 He became the grand marshal of the whole thing.
00:47:34.740 It was just a fantastic story of a way to give back to veterans that that everyone else seemed to forget.
00:47:40.100 But, Terry, where can people go to get access to the documentary, to be able to see this for themselves, to hear President Trump in his own words discuss the situation?
00:47:50.540 Well, right now we're launching the documentary on September 3rd.
00:47:54.080 But right now people can go to culturewardoc.com, D-O-C, culturewardoc.com.
00:48:01.200 And you can see the trailer.
00:48:02.460 We're launching on September 3rd.
00:48:04.160 We need to share this with all of our family and friends.
00:48:06.180 We need to get the word out.
00:48:06.940 These stories need to be heard, and we need to turn this country around and get a new commander-in-chief.
00:48:13.340 Simple as that, folks.
00:48:14.540 We need a new commander-in-chief, someone who understands the absolute sacred duty of a leader is to his people.
00:48:23.180 First and foremost, the American people, not people all across the world and in other lands.
00:48:30.020 We are going to get to the bottom of that in the same way that we're going to get to the bottom of Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:48:34.980 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay a short.
