Transcript

00:00:00.000 Okay, Jack-Jack, you ready? Count us in.
00:00:02.400 Five, four, three, two, one.
00:00:16.100 Merry Christmas, everyone.
00:00:18.100 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard to a very special Christmas edition of Human Events Christmas Day.
00:00:25.800 Now, I'm not sure, are we the ghosts of Christmas past or the ghosts of Christmas future?
00:00:30.000 Because we're recording this in Phoenix during AmericaFest, but it's not actually airing until Christmas Day.
00:00:39.380 So I think that makes us the ghosts of Christmas past right now, right?
00:00:42.260 I think we are just Christmas.
00:00:44.920 Just Christmas?
00:00:45.540 We are Christmas.
00:00:46.960 Well, we are the avatars of Christmas itself.
00:00:49.800 Yes.
00:00:50.200 I appreciate that.
00:00:51.120 No, that's amazing.
00:00:51.900 So we are Christmas.
00:00:54.040 And, oh gosh, someone's calling me.
00:00:56.140 Oh, it's my brother.
00:00:57.440 Hold on.
00:00:57.980 Let's see what he wants.
00:00:58.680 Let's see what he wants.
00:00:59.440 Hold on.
00:01:00.580 Hey, Kev.
00:01:02.860 Hey, we're recording right now.
00:01:05.320 We're recording the Christmas special.
00:01:06.800 What's going on?
00:01:07.560 And you are on air.
00:01:08.740 You're live.
00:01:10.880 Oh, cool.
00:01:11.920 Merry Christmas.
00:01:13.060 Merry Christmas, indeed.
00:01:15.120 I wanted to know if you want anything from CVS.
00:01:17.680 You want anything from CVS?
00:01:18.960 No, I'm good.
00:01:20.000 Good for right now.
00:01:20.660 I'd rather have something from Wawa.
00:01:24.080 Oh, yeah.
00:01:24.760 We got to work on that.
00:01:25.720 Yeah, we'll have to work on that.
00:01:26.500 I heard Wawa's coming out to like 14 new states.
00:01:31.220 You can make his Christmas wish come true.
00:01:34.720 My Christmas wish is that Wawa would come 50 states of Wawa.
00:01:41.360 Imagine.
00:01:41.680 Kev, what do you want for Christmas this year?
00:01:48.500 Oh, boy.
00:01:49.820 I want some...
00:01:50.860 I want some tires for my Ranger.
00:01:55.840 I want some front-end suspension.
00:01:58.700 I want a lift kit, maybe a muffler.
00:02:01.460 A lift kit?
00:02:03.180 Are you doing...
00:02:04.060 Dream big.
00:02:04.660 Dream big.
00:02:05.560 Do you want the spinners?
00:02:06.380 Do you want the chrome rims with the spinners?
00:02:09.940 No, no.
00:02:10.660 I want the...
00:02:11.780 What's that called?
00:02:14.860 The lift kit.
00:02:16.180 The full lift kit.
00:02:17.320 The full-on lift kit.
00:02:18.080 Okay, you're...
00:02:19.080 And...
00:02:20.080 No, sorry.
00:02:21.040 I'm sorry.
00:02:21.800 I'm sorry.
00:02:22.480 I don't know if Mike Lindell...
00:02:24.620 I don't know if Mike Lindell covers that yet.
00:02:26.820 But I'll have to reach out to him to see if we can get the Mike Lindell MyPillow lift kit
00:02:33.680 that's specifically designed for your Ranger.
00:02:35.820 No, no.
00:02:36.300 The MyPillow seat covers.
00:02:38.340 The MyPillow seat covers.
00:02:39.380 That's true.
00:02:39.880 We do have those.
00:02:41.140 Yes.
00:02:42.000 Indeed.
00:02:43.460 We have the seat covers.
00:02:44.600 We've got the cushions.
00:02:45.580 We've got everything.
00:02:47.760 Excellent.
00:02:48.560 Excellent.
00:02:49.400 All right.
00:02:49.700 Well, you hurry back and we'll finish up the special here.
00:02:55.200 Sounds good.
00:02:55.920 Love you guys.
00:02:56.440 All right.
00:02:56.800 Love you.
00:02:57.280 Merry Christmas.
00:02:58.380 Yeah, fast.
00:02:58.940 Rock on.
00:02:59.460 Yeah, yeah.
00:02:59.880 Merry Christmas.
00:03:01.300 There you go, folks.
00:03:02.360 Live.
00:03:03.060 Not planned.
00:03:05.380 A little Christmas.
00:03:06.740 That's what it's like with Christmas with the Posos.
00:03:09.340 You did not expect Christmas to be like this, did you?
00:03:14.040 Definitely not on my Christmas wish list.
00:03:17.220 But I've learned that with you, I have to be very flexible.
00:03:22.240 Look, I promised you.
00:03:22.940 So I'm used to adjusting quite a bit.
00:03:24.820 I promised you when we first got together many moons ago, and it's been, it'll be, it'll be eight years since we met, right?
00:03:34.380 It'll be eight years in January.
00:03:36.060 Yes.
00:03:36.320 It'll be eight years, so 15 to 23.
00:03:39.100 So it'll be eight years since we met at, where did we meet?
00:03:42.080 At the Bible study.
00:03:43.100 Everybody thinks I'm making that up when I say that.
00:03:45.440 Everybody thinks that I'm like, oh, Poso, that's some, you know, line that you use, like your MyPillow promos and everything.
00:03:53.040 No, we really did meet at a Bible study, 100%.
00:03:55.960 And, but I did promise you, okay, I did promise you that it would never be boring, ever.
00:04:05.180 And have I delivered on that promise?
00:04:07.660 You are exceeding my expectations every single day.
00:04:11.260 And when I think we've actually reached the point where I could get used to some of your surprises and expect certain things,
00:04:19.480 you just throw a curveball at me.
00:04:24.040 A curveball, me?
00:04:24.820 Never.
00:04:25.840 Never.
00:04:26.480 I play it right down the line, every time, straight laced with the stitches.
00:04:31.240 I mean, did we have any, well, what were, all right, what were some of the surprises,
00:04:35.220 since we're supposed to be doing the, you know, producer Angelo saying, you got to do the year in review,
00:04:39.380 you got to talk about, what were, what were some of the biggest, some of the curveballs this year?
00:04:43.780 What do you think?
00:04:44.160 Some of the main exciting curveballs, so some of them actually included us skiing in March.
00:04:53.420 We did go skiing.
00:04:54.020 So for my birthday, I got a very special gift.
00:04:57.360 I got my, a pair of my own skis.
00:05:00.600 And since my birthday is in March, well, as many of you know who are skiers or snowboarders.
00:05:06.800 Not exactly the season.
00:05:08.140 Not the season.
00:05:09.420 Kind of tell us.
00:05:10.120 But this guy right here, he, he made it happen, so I actually did ski after my birthday, so with my own skis.
00:05:19.780 Well, we should tell, but tell everybody, if we're talking about skiing, tell everybody your story about skiing.
00:05:26.660 Just, just, what was it like, what was it like skiing for you when you grew up?
00:05:30.340 So, um, I come from.
00:05:33.580 How big are the mountains back home in, uh, in Eastern Europe?
00:05:37.100 I was born in Belarus, and, um, if anybody knows, uh, anything about it, it's as flat as it could be.
00:05:44.080 So Belarus is just, just north of Ukraine.
00:05:46.160 So it's directly, you have Ukraine and Belarus directly north.
00:05:49.060 So all those farms that you see in Ukraine and all the videos, that's, Belarus is pretty much the same thing.
00:05:54.500 The only time I skied was, uh, cross country.
00:05:58.100 I ran a five kilometer marathon, and, uh, it was on a, uh, flat ground.
00:06:03.820 Flat as you can go.
00:06:04.720 So you did ski growing up.
00:06:06.460 I did, I did.
00:06:07.100 But never, like, you know, down.
00:06:09.260 Never went down.
00:06:10.220 Just across.
00:06:11.040 Just skiing across.
00:06:12.220 So what was the very first time you ever went skiing downhill?
00:06:15.460 So it was actually, uh, one of the, uh, first dates that we went on, and you invited me to Pennsylvania, to your home state, to go skiing.
00:06:26.580 And, um, as excited as I was to try it for the first time, I had zero, uh, idea of what I'm about to encounter with, uh, with the skiing down the hill.
00:06:41.240 Yeah, and of course, she's the one who goes, and, and she says, oh, well, I'll just try the black diamond, because I love diamonds.
00:06:48.800 And she goes, I was like, no, no, no black diamond, no diamonds.
00:06:52.960 We're going to go over here to the little bunny rabbit.
00:06:55.140 That's for you.
00:06:56.280 The bunny rabbit?
00:06:57.340 Yeah, the bunny rabbit.
00:06:58.100 That doesn't sound very exciting.
00:06:59.780 I'm, I'm the person he always jokes about that, uh, I would run before I crawl.
00:07:03.540 She runs before she crawls.
00:07:04.720 Yeah.
00:07:05.000 So, yeah.
00:07:05.660 But then you ended up, I know, and I will, I'll give you credit where it's due, that you ended up getting,
00:07:10.980 I've never seen you get into an activity like this, you know, other than Instagram, um, this much that you just love getting outside.
00:07:20.600 You love going skiing.
00:07:21.960 Then we've, we've skied in, how many places have we skied at this point?
00:07:25.400 So what started it as a date became sort of like a family tradition.
00:07:29.660 So every year we would go skiing and we make fun, uh, fun, uh, trip out of it by going to different places.
00:07:38.600 So, so far we skied in, uh, Colorado, uh, Beaver Creek, we went, um, up to upstate New York, um, Lake Placid, Lake Placid.
00:07:50.740 Uh, we did some skiing in Pennsylvania, all over PA.
00:07:54.000 We, uh, we're planning a trip to Utah, maybe.
00:07:57.360 Well, Utah is the one that we keep trying to get to because, um, we thought we were going to a wedding there, but then they didn't end up getting married.
00:08:04.400 So we pushed it off.
00:08:05.400 I don't even know.
00:08:05.780 Still waiting.
00:08:06.360 Yeah, still waiting to figure out what's going on with that one.
00:08:08.800 Um, but, and I have yet, I have not been to Utah yet ever in my life.
00:08:13.520 So I've never been to Utah.
00:08:14.940 So we would absolutely love, uh, to take a look at that one.
00:08:19.420 I don't know if we're going to get there this year, just looking at the schedule.
00:08:22.280 But, um, I don't know, I'm thinking of maybe, maybe Stowe, maybe go up to Vermont this time, or, or maybe even that being said, I loved Lake Placid.
00:08:30.500 I thought Lake Placid was amazing.
00:08:31.840 I would totally go back there.
00:08:32.360 Well, maybe we can ski in Europe.
00:08:34.540 In Europe.
00:08:35.120 Well, so, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
00:08:36.240 So we should tell people about that story this year because everybody knows that, um, I went to Davos and we had the, you know, I was detained by the World Economic Forum police out there.
00:08:48.340 And then, but I don't know if people remember that if you actually look in the side of the video that you are there standing, you know, uh, outside the, basically the police cordon where they've got all the guns focused on us.
00:09:00.320 And, um, how did I, how did I pitch you on the, on, on the trip to, to Davos?
00:09:07.120 So one day, um, beautiful morning, Jack comes up to me and, uh, good morning, dear.
00:09:16.400 How would you like to go to the Alps?
00:09:20.020 I was like, Alps?
00:09:20.420 Trip to Switzerland, right?
00:09:21.860 Uh, yeah.
00:09:22.400 Would you like to go to Switzerland with me?
00:09:25.340 And me growing up and, uh, seeing the beautiful images.
00:09:30.280 Literally put on Sound of Music.
00:09:31.800 I literally put on Sound of Music.
00:09:33.360 The beautiful landscapes.
00:09:35.300 I was like, absolutely.
00:09:37.840 Yes.
00:09:38.420 The hills are alive.
00:09:40.600 Little did I know that, uh, the trip to Switzerland included, um.
00:09:45.740 With the great resets.
00:09:46.740 A car ride to Davos.
00:09:48.840 With the sound of Schwab.
00:09:52.280 And so, and so, what, how, how did our trip to Switzerland end up going?
00:09:57.220 So Davos sounds, uh, very, um.
00:10:01.000 Glamorous.
00:10:01.840 Glamorous.
00:10:02.240 It's not.
00:10:04.260 There's very little glamorous about it.
00:10:07.120 It's, it's, it's, and Switzerland is so gorgeous.
00:10:10.480 Like, uh, the nature of it, the beauty of the landscapes.
00:10:13.860 It's just, it's, every picture you take could be put on a post, postcard.
00:10:20.200 Davos, uh, it seems like people got really bored and tired of working in Switzerland.
00:10:24.940 And they're like, okay, let's just, uh, put something together and we'll call it Davos.
00:10:29.820 You know, that's how it is.
00:10:31.060 It's a little bit dumpy.
00:10:32.060 It's now, to be fair.
00:10:33.300 And I just, you know, by way of reference, we, we ended up going there in May.
00:10:38.580 So it was outside of the skiing season.
00:10:40.960 Now, if those slopes were set up at the time, I think that's more what it's there for.
00:10:45.460 It's sort of like your C-list Alpine ski resort.
00:10:49.120 But the reason that Klaus Schwab and these guys targeted it was because they, they knew
00:10:53.300 that they, you know, they're not going to take over Geneva.
00:10:55.280 They're not going to take over Zurich.
00:10:56.620 But something like Davos that everybody kind of looked over, that's the kind of town that
00:11:00.740 you could go, go in and basically run for about two weeks.
00:11:03.840 And that's what they do.
00:11:04.800 So when we were there, we even tried to go up the ski lift and then it was closed.
00:11:08.700 So the ski lift didn't happen.
00:11:11.200 So we'll put it on there.
00:11:12.100 So how did your trips to the Alps end?
00:11:15.900 Just like many of my trips go.
00:11:18.840 There's a, there's a plan and there is a change of plan.
00:11:22.080 And we usually follow the second scenario.
00:11:25.200 And what, what was it like?
00:11:28.540 We're going to come up on a break here, but when I want to get back, I want to talk more
00:11:31.580 about, you know, exactly what happened there.
00:11:33.960 And I want to, and I also want to talk about how there, there's a conspiracy theory about
00:11:38.960 our Davos trip.
00:11:39.780 You know, this right about what happened.
00:11:41.760 There's a conspiracy theory that potentially leave Schreiber that leave Schreiber may have
00:11:49.100 been involved in the operation that led to the detention of me.
00:11:55.800 And remember, and you know, yeah, Ray Donovan operation style.
00:11:59.780 And remember you're there with Kevin, but then you ended up being at a different
00:12:03.960 section of Davos.
00:12:04.960 I didn't think that you would go that route on this Christmas festive episode, but here
00:12:11.960 we are.
00:12:12.960 Here we are.
00:12:13.960 We're going to review it.
00:12:14.960 Look, we talk about, we talk a lot about women's rights, but here we're going to talk
00:12:17.960 about women's wrongs.
00:12:18.960 Coming back, Jack Posobiec, Tanya Tay, Human Events Christmas Special.
00:12:24.960 So, the world has seen the video of me getting detained at Davos and, you know, not a very
00:12:34.080 holly jolly moment, I know, but, you know, and they do, I mean, in many ways, Klaus Schwab
00:12:40.960 is sort of like an evil version of Santa Claus.
00:12:43.840 Um, Santa Claus wants to give you, uh, possessions.
00:12:47.840 Klaus Schwab wants to take them away.
00:12:49.840 Um, Santa Claus wants to, uh, help you be happy.
00:12:54.840 Uh, Santa Claus on the other, or Klaus Schwab on the other hand wants is, is ordering you
00:12:59.840 to be happy no matter what.
00:13:00.840 And, and, and an example, by the way, so they both live in snowy, uh, ice capped areas.
00:13:07.840 Now, um, of course, Santa Claus uses the reindeers to fly his sleigh.
00:13:11.840 Very eco-friendly, very green, very green.
00:13:14.840 Um, he's got Rudolph the red nose reindeer to cut through what the pollution, uh, the pollution
00:13:19.840 of the North pole that's come up from, you know, people driving their SUVs and their Hummers
00:13:23.840 and Range Rovers.
00:13:24.840 And, uh, maybe that's what Kevin was working on.
00:13:26.840 I'm sorry, Greta.
00:13:27.840 Uh, and, and then, and, and then also, you know, whereas, whereas as St. Nicholas, um,
00:13:34.840 you know, Greek, uh, Bishop of Myra, um, then you've, then you've got Klaus Schwab.
00:13:39.840 Klaus Schwab wants to take over the world.
00:13:42.840 Um, so, you know, Santa makes his list of all the kids who are naughty or nice.
00:13:47.840 And then Klaus Schwab also makes lists of kids, but probably for a different reason.
00:13:51.840 I'm just saying, I'm, I'm just saying, I'm just saying, you know, there's, there's lots
00:13:54.840 of, lots of parallels there.
00:13:56.840 Lots of parallels.
00:13:57.840 So, so everyone's seen the video.
00:13:58.840 Everyone saw the video of me getting detained.
00:14:00.840 Savannah Hernandez shows up and then you actually, the one who brought Savannah there.
00:14:05.840 So tell me the story though, from your perspective and I, and I'll, I'll give people the background.
00:14:14.840 So the lay of the land is we're, I'm at one end of the world economic forum conference.
00:14:19.840 And we're, you know, again, we're up in Davos.
00:14:21.840 We're in the Alps.
00:14:22.840 So it's on the side of this mountain.
00:14:23.840 So the roads are kind of go in parallel to each other, almost like, like, like steps,
00:14:28.840 you know, like the, one of those step pyramids in a Graham Hancock video.
00:14:31.840 And, and so in order to, you go across, but then the next street, you have to kind of
00:14:36.840 go up and now you're on the next, you know, parallel street that goes across the mountain.
00:14:40.840 And so I'm at one section of it, but then you and Kevin were over at the Ukraine house,
00:14:47.840 which was on the other side, because I said, Hey, I'm going to go film some stuff with the
00:14:51.840 guys and we're going to film the show.
00:14:53.840 We're going to film.
00:14:54.840 I think we did some more room interviews, some other interviews that we did live.
00:14:58.840 And we knew that Malcolm Nance was potentially going to be speaking.
00:15:03.840 And I wanted to see if Malcolm Nance was actually there.
00:15:05.840 So I said, Kev, here's a picture of Malcolm Nance.
00:15:07.840 Here's what he looks like.
00:15:08.840 Here's the Ukraine.
00:15:09.840 It's sort of like an exhibit house.
00:15:10.840 Just go over there and wait for him.
00:15:12.840 But that's all the way on the other side of the conference.
00:15:15.840 And then you wanted to go to the Ukraine house at this point as well.
00:15:19.840 And pray tell, why did you want to go to the Ukraine house at that specific time, sweetheart?
00:15:23.840 It's interesting that you should ask that question.
00:15:27.840 It's an interesting question.
00:15:29.840 I did not expect that coming from you.
00:15:32.840 So you sent Kevin on a mission.
00:15:35.840 I did.
00:15:36.840 And of course I had my own mission because I heard that there is a,
00:15:40.840 Liv Schreiber talking in the house of Ukraine.
00:15:44.840 Yeah.
00:15:45.840 And I'm a huge fan of his work.
00:15:47.840 Here we go.
00:15:48.840 And I figured it would be a wonderful opportunity for me to go and meet him in person.
00:15:52.840 She wanted a selfie with Liv Schreiber.
00:15:56.840 So.
00:15:57.840 And you did get to meet him.
00:15:58.840 I did get to meet him.
00:15:59.840 More so, I was able to get to the front row.
00:16:03.840 So he was sitting.
00:16:05.840 Because these are small.
00:16:06.840 There's only like, how many people?
00:16:07.840 It was a very, it probably, the room is no bigger than your studio.
00:16:11.840 Right.
00:16:12.840 So I mean, 30 people, maybe.
00:16:14.840 Yeah.
00:16:15.840 Maybe 30 people.
00:16:16.840 It felt like a very intimate setting.
00:16:18.840 Oh, intimate.
00:16:19.840 A very intimate setting to meet Liv Schreiber in.
00:16:23.840 Was it darling?
00:16:24.840 A very intimate setting.
00:16:26.840 Not in that sense.
00:16:28.840 Uh huh.
00:16:29.840 That everybody present felt like they could really hear the speaker, could really relate
00:16:34.840 to where they're coming from.
00:16:35.840 So relatable.
00:16:36.840 And Liv Schreiber, he is, the reason why he was actually there is because he has Ukrainian
00:16:42.840 roots.
00:16:43.840 So he felt like it was his.
00:16:46.840 Rightful.
00:16:48.840 The look you're giving me, they see the words are not coming.
00:16:55.840 Yeah.
00:16:56.840 Everything.
00:16:57.840 No, no, please go.
00:16:58.840 Please tell us about the rights of Liv Schreiber, the rightful, the rightful place, the intimate
00:17:03.840 room.
00:17:04.840 Liv was very outspoken about the issues in Ukraine.
00:17:09.840 And I was there and he gave a wonderful speech.
00:17:13.840 A wonderful speech.
00:17:14.840 At the time, I had my husband trying to text me, trying to call me.
00:17:19.840 But unfortunately, I made just a few too many videos at the time.
00:17:24.840 She's making videos on Instagram of Liv Schreiber.
00:17:27.840 And my battery, my battery died.
00:17:30.840 And her battery dies while I'm trying to call her.
00:17:33.840 I had a good excuse.
00:17:34.840 And I'm like, darling, the World Economic Forum police.
00:17:39.840 We're spilling all the tea in here.
00:17:40.840 People don't know this is the same studio where Alex does the spillover.
00:17:43.840 So this is the way the tea is being spilled.
00:17:44.840 So the tea is being spilled.
00:17:46.840 This is like Festivus when we have the airing of yearly grievances, the annual airing of grievances.
00:17:51.840 So here we go.
00:17:52.840 We're having the leave shrievances.
00:17:55.840 OK, the grievances of shrievances are coming out.
00:17:58.840 It's all coming out, folks.
00:18:00.840 So I'm out there getting detained.
00:18:02.840 World Economic Forum police.
00:18:04.840 They're around me.
00:18:05.840 The MP5 start coming out.
00:18:06.840 We're getting frisked.
00:18:08.840 I'm wearing my undertaxed.
00:18:09.840 We're getting frisked around the corner.
00:18:10.840 And she's taking selfies at Liv Schreiber and her battery runs out.
00:18:13.840 So my phone did die.
00:18:15.840 At that moment, your brother, Kevin, he found me.
00:18:20.840 And he told me that, well, you've been arrested or you've been detained.
00:18:26.840 Something's going on.
00:18:27.840 There's people.
00:18:28.840 There's guns involved.
00:18:29.840 And there's there's a lot of action.
00:18:31.840 So I did have to leave the room with Liv Schreiber.
00:18:35.840 And I did not hesitate for a minute.
00:18:38.840 And that's when I see that, folks.
00:18:41.840 Let that be a lesson to you when you need somebody.
00:18:44.840 They're lickety splits on the at the drop of a dime when you need something done right.
00:18:50.840 You need to you.
00:18:51.840 You need to make sure that you ingest a little vitamin M.
00:18:54.840 A.
00:18:55.840 N.
00:18:56.840 Into the situation, inject a little vitamin M.
00:18:58.840 A.
00:18:59.840 N.
00:19:00.840 A.
00:19:01.840 You get there.
00:19:02.840 I was on the way.
00:19:03.840 And that's when I.
00:19:04.840 That's real quick.
00:19:05.840 That's the conspiracy theory is that is it possible.
00:19:08.840 Leave Schreiber.
00:19:09.840 Ray Donovan set out the whole thing as a way that he would have extra time to spend with
00:19:15.840 Tanya Tate.
00:19:18.840 Did not happen.
00:19:20.840 Cotton weary.
00:19:21.840 Totally.
00:19:22.840 Totally.
00:19:23.840 Just a theory.
00:19:24.840 None of that.
00:19:25.840 None of that was taking place.
00:19:26.840 When I was heading to see you and see what was going on with that whole situation.
00:19:31.840 That's when I I ran into Savannah, Savannah Hernandez.
00:19:37.840 And we actually proceeded together to get to the scene of the crime where you you were
00:19:46.840 getting detained.
00:19:47.840 And I think we actually got there when they almost finished whatever it is that they were
00:19:54.840 doing.
00:19:55.840 And yeah, we got some.
00:19:56.840 It had been about an hour at that point.
00:19:57.840 Yeah.
00:19:58.840 And of course.
00:19:59.840 Even though I contacted you an hour before.
00:20:00.840 I couldn't film anything.
00:20:01.840 I couldn't get any shots of it because my phone is dead.
00:20:04.840 And yeah, it doesn't happen at the right time.
00:20:08.840 So now I make sure I charge my phone all the time or.
00:20:11.840 Actually, I make sure I charge your phone.
00:20:12.840 You do.
00:20:13.840 Yes, you do.
00:20:14.840 And I keep drilling it every time we travel somewhere.
00:20:15.840 It's always be charging.
00:20:16.840 I still have not corrected that.
00:20:17.840 Always be charging something.
00:20:18.840 Always be charging.
00:20:19.840 You get into the hotel room.
00:20:21.840 You don't take your shoes off.
00:20:22.840 You start charging your phones.
00:20:23.840 You let you set everything out the charge.
00:20:25.840 Then you get settled.
00:20:27.840 Then you lie down.
00:20:28.840 Always be charging something.
00:20:29.840 But no, no, it was.
00:20:30.840 It was.
00:20:31.840 That was an interesting moment.
00:20:32.840 And then.
00:20:33.840 But probably.
00:20:34.840 Probably.
00:20:35.840 You know.
00:20:37.840 My favorite part of that trip, though, as.
00:20:40.840 You know, and there were two extra moments of that.
00:20:43.840 First of all, was the night in Rome.
00:20:46.840 Yes.
00:20:47.840 So.
00:20:48.840 So we've only got a couple of minutes left in the segment.
00:20:50.840 But tell people in a very quick way what we did in the night in Rome.
00:20:56.840 You know, we're, you know, we're both Christians being able to go to St. Peter's Basilica.
00:21:01.840 We went to the Castel Sant'Angelo.
00:21:03.840 But what ended up happening when we started walking around?
00:21:07.840 So we both really wanted to see Rome.
00:21:12.840 And the schedule was just being so tight.
00:21:14.840 We were not sure how much of it we will see.
00:21:17.840 We got in very late at night.
00:21:19.840 I believe we saw 1 a.m.
00:21:23.840 home.
00:21:24.840 And needless to say, despite being super jet lagged and very tired from the travel, we
00:21:30.840 decided to go out because we were really pressed for time.
00:21:35.840 And our hotel was not too far from the castle of St. Angelo.
00:21:42.840 And what started to be just the walk to see the castle to then maybe get closer to the
00:21:50.840 Vatican at night ended up being one of the most unforgettable nights in my life because
00:21:59.840 as we were walking towards the castle, we saw those scooters just randomly parked on the
00:22:05.840 side of the streets.
00:22:07.840 And we were with Kevin, Jug's brother, and he just randomly suggested or made a comment
00:22:17.840 about the scooters.
00:22:18.840 And we're like, well, maybe we should give them a try.
00:22:22.840 And we had the entire city of Rome, the eternal city to ourselves, scooting up and down the
00:22:30.840 cobblestone streets for hours.
00:22:33.840 We went to every single monument, landmark and and postcard picture spot of Rome all within.
00:22:44.840 It's actually not that big.
00:22:45.840 And we did it all within the span of about three to four hours with no traffic, no crowds,
00:22:52.840 no tourists all the way right into the point where we gotten at the end was what?
00:22:56.840 The Coliseum.
00:22:57.840 The Coliseum.
00:22:58.840 The Coliseum.
00:22:59.840 The Coliseum.
00:23:00.840 We actually saw the sunrise at the Coliseum.
00:23:03.840 Just as we got to the Coliseum, the first rays of the rising sun started to come up over
00:23:08.840 it.
00:23:09.840 And then we realized we'd probably get back because, of course, you know, this is where
00:23:12.840 and we were doing the show every day.
00:23:14.840 So, you know, we did.
00:23:15.840 We had just done the show in Ireland on the way there because we had a layover and then
00:23:19.840 we got out and and we did a layover in Ireland.
00:23:22.840 And then we did the show from like a farm.
00:23:25.840 And then we went and did the show in Rome.
00:23:26.840 Then we did the show in Budapest.
00:23:27.840 After that, we did the show in in in in Davos, obviously, in Davos, you know, for the whole
00:23:35.840 thing with Switzerland and then Zurich and Geneva and eventually Poland.
00:23:39.840 And then and then finally Ukraine.
00:23:40.840 So we'll talk about that in a minute.
00:23:42.840 But here's what I want to do, because it is Christmas Day and we have a very special
00:23:49.840 treat for everybody, because I remember last year we talked about our Christmas traditions
00:23:53.840 and midnight mass and opening the presents on Christmas morning and just all the things
00:24:00.840 that we do together, the way that we also celebrate old Christmas, a.k.a.
00:24:04.840 Orthodox Christmas on January 6th.
00:24:07.840 So for the kids, they kind of get two Christmases.
00:24:09.840 But when we come back, we have a very special treat for you because we've got two very special
00:24:17.840 guests that taught me everything I know about Christmas.
00:24:22.840 Stay tuned.
00:24:23.840 Be right back.
00:24:26.840 Two very special guests, both of which for the very first time here on Human Events, the
00:24:32.840 Human Events special, some some folks who know a little bit about Christmas and certainly
00:24:39.840 taught me everything that I knew about Christmas.
00:24:42.840 That's my mom and dad.
00:24:43.840 We have my mom, Lori Posobiec, and my dad, John Posobiec.
00:24:47.840 Merry Christmas.
00:24:48.840 Thank you so much for joining us on the show.
00:24:50.840 Really appreciate you making time out of your your busy schedules as as grandparents spoiling
00:24:55.840 my boys.
00:24:56.840 That's right.
00:24:57.840 You know, for this.
00:24:58.840 So so so let let me ask you what.
00:25:01.840 You know, how has Christmas changed going from, you know, be it being like the mom and
00:25:08.840 dad of Christmas to sort of being, you know, to having the grandkids?
00:25:11.840 Um, well, we don't have to worry about putting stuff together on Christmas Eve as much as
00:25:19.840 we did before.
00:25:20.840 What do you mean putting stuff together on Christmas Eve?
00:25:21.840 What are you talking about?
00:25:22.840 Well, the presents that would have been from us, not the presents from Santa.
00:25:25.840 Not this.
00:25:26.840 Right.
00:25:27.840 Because Santa would bring the presents from Santa, right?
00:25:28.840 Exactly.
00:25:29.840 Exactly.
00:25:30.840 Right.
00:25:31.840 So, yeah, Jack's never and why never heard anything other than that Santa is real.
00:25:37.840 Well, there are no, I mean, there are idiots out there who deny the existence of Santa.
00:25:41.840 But here's what I have to say.
00:25:42.840 Yeah.
00:25:43.840 If Santa Claus was a psyop, imagine how many people would have to be in on it.
00:25:48.840 Right.
00:25:49.840 Doesn't make any sense.
00:25:50.840 Imagine imagine being a Santa denier.
00:25:51.840 Just ask our kids to write their Christmas list early and not two days before Christmas
00:25:57.840 because we didn't have Internet back then to get there wasn't there wasn't next day
00:26:03.840 shipping packages.
00:26:04.840 Yeah.
00:26:05.840 So we used to have to call relatives if some item was not available.
00:26:08.840 Well, there was a Ghostbuster headquarters that actually we had to get on the phone because
00:26:13.840 it wasn't available at any of our local Toys R Us's and there's no Internet.
00:26:18.840 So we found a cousin in Florida that was able to find it at a Sam's Club and they actually
00:26:23.840 mailed it to the house.
00:26:25.840 Really?
00:26:26.840 Yes.
00:26:27.840 That's how we got the Ghostbusters?
00:26:28.840 Yes.
00:26:29.840 And that's the only thing you wanted for that Christmas.
00:26:31.840 Only thing.
00:26:32.840 And my cousin came through.
00:26:33.840 I remember that.
00:26:34.840 Oh, it's so stressful.
00:26:35.840 Well, I remember getting it.
00:26:36.840 I don't remember that.
00:26:37.840 Oh, yeah.
00:26:38.840 It was very the last thing behind the tree.
00:26:39.840 It was number one on the list.
00:26:40.840 I remember it being behind the tree.
00:26:41.840 Yes.
00:26:42.840 I do remember that.
00:26:43.840 Yes.
00:26:44.840 At our old house.
00:26:45.840 We hit it real good.
00:26:46.840 That was my dad was big on that, that the final present that you'll.
00:26:49.840 So what she would always do is like the first presents that you would see would be like
00:26:54.840 the sweaters and the underwear and the socks.
00:26:57.840 Yeah.
00:26:58.840 And, you know, all that business, which was, you know, always nice.
00:27:01.840 Yeah.
00:27:02.840 And by the way, my mom and dad, huge stockings, massive stockings.
00:27:06.840 Well, that's because your Nana made them.
00:27:07.840 Full of everything.
00:27:08.840 Right.
00:27:09.840 Dad's mom.
00:27:10.840 So my grandma, my Nana.
00:27:11.840 Yeah.
00:27:12.840 We had no choice in that.
00:27:13.840 That we still have.
00:27:14.840 Yes.
00:27:15.840 We do.
00:27:16.840 Every year.
00:27:17.840 Yes.
00:27:18.840 We still have them.
00:27:19.840 Yeah.
00:27:20.840 And then, and then you, well, then you made some extra ones.
00:27:21.840 Well, your Nana still had a few that when she passed away, she still had a couple of
00:27:25.840 the squares.
00:27:26.840 So I was able to use, incorporate those into your children's.
00:27:29.840 So Jack, Jack and AJ have stockings from the same.
00:27:32.840 From the same.
00:27:33.840 Yes.
00:27:34.840 Template.
00:27:35.840 Yeah.
00:27:36.840 Template.
00:27:37.840 And Tanya.
00:27:38.840 Yeah.
00:27:39.840 And Tanya too.
00:27:40.840 Oh, that's awesome.
00:27:41.840 Yeah.
00:27:42.840 That's a base.
00:27:43.840 Yeah.
00:27:44.840 We do.
00:27:45.840 We, stockings are big with us and then we don't.
00:27:46.840 They're arms length too.
00:27:47.840 Yeah.
00:27:48.840 Like arms length, full on.
00:27:49.840 You could actually put your, you could actually like wear it on your feet kind of stocking.
00:27:52.840 Yeah.
00:27:53.840 We'll have to get like a photo of this.
00:27:54.840 Yeah.
00:27:55.840 So people can see what we're talking about.
00:27:56.840 So I remember one.
00:27:57.840 But then, yeah.
00:27:58.840 Then back behind the tree is where the good stuff would be right there.
00:28:01.840 I remember specifically one Christmas, you guys were, I don't know, around 10-ish.
00:28:06.840 And you woke up, woke us up at 6 a.m.
00:28:09.840 You're like, hey, can we go, you know, go downstairs?
00:28:12.840 And we're like, ah, you know.
00:28:14.840 We made them sit at the top of the steps till we woke up.
00:28:17.840 Well, they asked six o'clock.
00:28:19.840 We're like, okay.
00:28:20.840 Yeah.
00:28:21.840 We could, we could look at this railing in the old house.
00:28:24.840 Yep.
00:28:25.840 Where you could kind of peek down.
00:28:26.840 So we, where we grew up was this house in, in Norristown, right outside of Philadelphia
00:28:31.840 that had been built in 1900.
00:28:33.840 So by the, at this point, it's already, you know, 80, 90 years old.
00:28:37.840 Yeah.
00:28:38.840 And this gorgeous old home that, you know, the whole area is, and it's just, it's, it's
00:28:44.840 breaks your heart to see what's happened to the town now, which I talk about on the show
00:28:47.840 a lot.
00:28:48.840 The tree would be in like in the bay window.
00:28:49.840 Yeah.
00:28:50.840 The huge bay windows, giant wooden railings, just gorgeous.
00:28:53.840 Yeah.
00:28:54.840 But my point, so, so six o'clock, we said, all right, we'll get up with you, you know,
00:28:58.840 and literally six 15, they were done opening all the presents.
00:29:02.840 So we were like, can we go back to bed now?
00:29:05.840 Back in the day, we had these monster VCR camcorders.
00:29:11.840 Well, VHS.
00:29:12.840 The old camcorders.
00:29:13.840 Yeah.
00:29:14.840 Name brand.
00:29:15.840 You stuck the whole.
00:29:16.840 Full size, you know, VHS tape.
00:29:18.840 VHS tape into it.
00:29:19.840 I set it on the tripod.
00:29:20.840 Into it.
00:29:21.840 And I give them the cue to go.
00:29:22.840 And 15 minutes later, I still had an hour and a half of tape to go.
00:29:26.840 So we still, we actually have video.
00:29:28.840 It was really cool editing all that out.
00:29:30.840 Of like every, every Christmas.
00:29:32.840 Um, since.
00:29:33.840 Cause we got it right before you started walking.
00:29:36.840 Yeah.
00:29:37.840 Since I was like a little toddler.
00:29:38.840 Yeah.
00:29:39.840 So.
00:29:40.840 We took the camcorder.
00:29:41.840 I didn't love it so much because I would forget it was there.
00:29:43.840 Cause he would just set it back in the corner and you had to be camera ready.
00:29:47.840 You know, as soon as you walked in the room and I would always forget and have my back
00:29:51.840 turned to it.
00:29:52.840 You want to catch that great moment.
00:29:54.840 And it was just.
00:29:55.840 15 minutes later.
00:29:56.840 It's all gone.
00:29:57.840 The whole time.
00:29:58.840 I still, I still remember there's one video that we have, uh, from it and you guys have
00:30:02.840 gone and put them onto DVDs now.
00:30:04.840 Yeah.
00:30:05.840 They're on DVDs now.
00:30:06.840 Now we got to get them onto digital.
00:30:08.840 And there's a, there's a great video of, um, you know, and I'm, I must've been like one
00:30:13.840 and you had me in the wagon and you're just kind of like.
00:30:16.840 Oh wow.
00:30:17.840 I must've been the first one.
00:30:18.840 Yeah.
00:30:19.840 And, and that's, that's, it's just amazing to see how, how young I look.
00:30:23.840 And of course you look exactly the same.
00:30:24.840 Of course.
00:30:25.840 Um, him, not so much.
00:30:27.840 And, uh, it's, it's really cool to have videos of that and realizing, you know, all the technology
00:30:33.840 that went into it and goes into it from now.
00:30:35.840 But, um, I don't know.
00:30:36.840 What are, what are some other, what are some other differences or things you remember from
00:30:40.840 obviously, you know, mass midnight mass was the best of, you know, if we could, once
00:30:46.840 you guys were old enough to stay up for midnight mass.
00:30:48.840 Yeah.
00:30:49.840 Our kids at two and four, I feel like, I feel like even Jack, Jack, I don't know if he could
00:30:53.840 handle midnight mass.
00:30:54.840 Yeah.
00:30:55.840 That's a lot.
00:30:56.840 Yeah.
00:30:57.840 Cause they don't shorten it at all.
00:30:58.840 It's a full.
00:30:59.840 No, it's a full thing.
00:31:00.840 Yeah.
00:31:01.840 All the candles, all the incense, everything.
00:31:04.840 Yeah.
00:31:05.840 So it was a lot.
00:31:06.840 I enjoyed putting up the Christmas decorations outside and they would come and help me tweak
00:31:10.840 them just right.
00:31:11.840 Well, some of the wrapping memory is, um, I remember you asking, how come Santa used the
00:31:17.840 same wrapping paper as we did?
00:31:19.840 Attention to detail, folks.
00:31:21.840 Attention to detail.
00:31:22.840 I said, well, day one.
00:31:23.840 I said, mom, why is it that Santa and you use the exact same kind of wrapping paper?
00:31:29.840 Yeah.
00:31:30.840 True story.
00:31:31.840 It's very interesting to me.
00:31:32.840 Yeah.
00:31:33.840 But then I was able to tell you that it was because Santa had seen the wrapping paper when
00:31:37.840 he got to our house and then he wrapped their presents at our house and Santa had his own
00:31:43.840 special, um, signature, you know, a lot of swirls on the S everything.
00:31:49.840 Yeah.
00:31:50.840 So Santa, we didn't have.
00:31:51.840 Right.
00:31:52.840 So, so mom and dad would just have like a nice little, you know, mom and dad.
00:31:55.840 Right.
00:31:56.840 So Santa would have this huge looping swirling from Santa, which is this huge deal, which
00:32:03.840 is how you know that it wasn't from my mom and dad.
00:32:05.840 Right.
00:32:06.840 Because when I would conduct the, I would say, well, obviously Santa's handwriting is totally
00:32:08.840 different.
00:32:09.840 Exactly.
00:32:10.840 And there was one, uh, mall Santa story.
00:32:13.840 So you were little, maybe Jack Jack's age, maybe a year or two older, but you came home
00:32:19.840 after seeing Santa and you said, I know that that wasn't the real Santa.
00:32:23.840 And we're like, Oh no.
00:32:25.840 And we were like, well, how do you know that?
00:32:28.840 Yeah.
00:32:29.840 He said, Oh, well the, um, the boots, they weren't really boots.
00:32:32.840 They were just like plastic covers over his sneakers because the real Santa is up at the
00:32:37.840 North pole making the presents.
00:32:39.840 Obviously very busy.
00:32:40.840 Yeah.
00:32:41.840 So I was like, okay, okay.
00:32:43.840 Got through that.
00:32:44.840 Deb, what do you, what do you remember most from, from, from Christmases?
00:32:48.840 Well, we were talking about the train sets a little bit and I was very selfish about making
00:32:53.840 sure that you're very particular about your train sets.
00:32:57.840 Particular that they didn't get stomped on when they're chasing after all their gifts around
00:33:03.840 the tree.
00:33:04.840 Uh, it ended up that the train set and the miniature village that she likes to put together
00:33:09.840 ended up on my pool table.
00:33:11.840 Yes.
00:33:12.840 The one year you agreed to that, but most years, yeah, you won't even let us put it up.
00:33:16.840 So I don't even know.
00:33:17.840 I did notice the little village around the studio, by the way.
00:33:20.840 Yes.
00:33:21.840 So the little studio, not the little village is up now, but not, she didn't because I
00:33:26.840 have, and I get it by the way, but having little kids of my own now, I get it.
00:33:29.840 Yeah.
00:33:30.840 I mean, they're from when you were little, right?
00:33:32.840 The Lionel train.
00:33:33.840 My first train set, 1960.
00:33:34.840 Yeah.
00:33:35.840 It's a nice set.
00:33:36.840 Yeah.
00:33:37.840 Wow.
00:33:38.840 But, um, it needs to be put up.
00:33:39.840 And it still works.
00:33:40.840 Oh yeah.
00:33:41.840 Still works.
00:33:42.840 Because that's real electricity.
00:33:43.840 Jack knows how to turn the engine and make it, use a transformer and make it work.
00:33:46.840 Yes, we did.
00:33:47.840 It was a year or two years ago we set it up.
00:33:49.840 Yeah.
00:33:50.840 So it needs to be set up.
00:33:51.840 So what, we've got a couple of minutes left in the segment here, what kind of traditions
00:33:58.840 would be important that you want to make sure that I continue with Jack, Jack and AJ?
00:34:05.840 Well, obviously the birth, you know, of Jesus, that's what the reason for the season is and
00:34:10.840 all that.
00:34:11.840 Well, I think we'll get all right with that.
00:34:12.840 You know, a lot of kids don't get that, you know, seeing the live nativity and understanding
00:34:16.840 what that all is.
00:34:17.840 Well, we did, we did take them all the way to, to, to Jerusalem this year.
00:34:22.840 Israel.
00:34:23.840 Yeah.
00:34:24.840 To Israel.
00:34:25.840 So I would say, I'd say we're doing all right with that.
00:34:26.840 Yeah.
00:34:27.840 They, uh, they're getting the base where a lot of kids don't get that these days and
00:34:30.840 it's sad.
00:34:31.840 It's all commercial.
00:34:32.840 You know, it's all, you know, I see all the decorations out on everybody's house and
00:34:35.840 I was, I kind of do little grades for them and they get extra points if they have
00:34:40.840 a nativity scene, you know, on their lawn, um, not just, you know, whatever.
00:34:45.840 The night before Christmas.
00:34:46.840 The night before Christmas.
00:34:47.840 Yeah.
00:34:48.840 That was a red every night since you were little.
00:34:50.840 Yeah.
00:34:51.840 Every night.
00:34:52.840 I couldn't skip words.
00:34:53.840 Oh, Christmas Eve.
00:34:54.840 Every Christmas Eve.
00:34:55.840 Sorry.
00:34:56.840 Kevin would memorize the words.
00:34:57.840 And if I tried to rush through it to get to the bed, I said, dad, that's not what
00:35:00.840 it says.
00:35:01.840 That's not right, dad.
00:35:02.840 That's not right, dad.
00:35:03.840 That's not right, dad.
00:35:04.840 No.
00:35:05.840 Yeah.
00:35:06.840 Not a creature was turning out.
00:35:07.840 Obviously you were only 10 days old on our, your first Christmas.
00:35:10.840 So silent night.
00:35:11.840 I remember singing him that specifically.
00:35:13.840 And we had this little.
00:35:14.840 Well, and then AJ ended up being a Christmas baby too.
00:35:16.840 Cause he's.
00:35:17.840 Yeah.
00:35:18.840 Yeah.
00:35:19.840 He's a Christmas baby too.
00:35:20.840 Yeah.
00:35:21.840 Not quite as close.
00:35:22.840 Thankfully.
00:35:23.840 We do on the 15th.
00:35:24.840 We do on the 15th.
00:35:25.840 And then he ended up coming two weeks early.
00:35:26.840 Yeah.
00:35:27.840 And you were due on the 12th.
00:35:28.840 Yeah.
00:35:29.840 You were actually three days late.
00:35:30.840 So you're even closer to Christmas.
00:35:31.840 But there was this little silver bell.
00:35:32.840 And when you, you know, we would, you know, ring it or whatever, you would stop crying.
00:35:36.840 So that was always a special ornament.
00:35:38.840 And we still have it.
00:35:40.840 And now I just make all the libs cry.
00:35:42.840 That's our favorite ornament.
00:35:44.840 And we said, well, we will make sure to ring that bell every year.
00:35:48.840 Yeah.
00:35:49.840 This is the season of giving.
00:35:50.840 It's a real silver.
00:35:51.840 And if you don't know what to give, give a smile.
00:35:54.840 Aww.
00:35:55.840 Yeah.
00:35:56.840 And we're like, we're trying to give experiences more so than just a ton of presents under the
00:36:00.840 tree.
00:36:01.840 And the one thing I remember, or of course we're running out of time, but we would always
00:36:04.840 do like a Christmas family.
00:36:06.840 Like a play.
00:36:07.840 Like a play or a show.
00:36:09.840 We did like David Copperfield one year.
00:36:11.840 Right, right.
00:36:12.840 We went to Cats one year and we all fell asleep.
00:36:13.840 You fell asleep.
00:36:14.840 We all fell asleep because it sucked.
00:36:15.840 Yeah, I know.
00:36:16.840 I thought it was good.
00:36:17.840 And, uh, yeah, she's, she's going to be nice.
00:36:20.840 I'm like, what are you guys sleeping for?
00:36:21.840 It was, it was terrible.
00:36:22.840 It was really bad.
00:36:23.840 Merry Christmas, everybody.
00:36:24.840 Merry Christmas.
00:36:25.840 Thanks for your time.
00:36:26.840 From, from my mom and dad.
00:36:27.840 And, uh, I, I, I'll say this, you know, every once in a while I get some, some lib comment
00:36:32.840 and they say, what are your mom and dad?
00:36:34.840 I bet you they're very proud of me.
00:36:36.840 I said, are you kidding?
00:36:37.840 My mom and dad watch like everything I do.
00:36:39.840 Like always.
00:36:40.840 Pretty much.
00:36:41.840 It's hard to keep up.
00:36:42.840 All right.
00:36:43.840 Well, thanks mom and dad.
00:36:44.840 I love you so much.
00:36:45.840 Welcome.
00:36:46.840 Merry Christmas.
00:36:47.840 Merry Christmas.
00:36:48.840 Merry Christmas.
00:36:49.840 Okay.
00:36:50.840 Jack, Jack, you ready?
00:36:51.840 Count us in.
00:36:52.840 Five, four, three, two, one.
00:36:55.840 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back.
00:36:57.840 We're here and we've got a little infiltrator.
00:36:59.840 Uh, an uninvited guest is joining us here to talk about the true meaning of Christmas.
00:37:07.840 Okay.
00:37:08.840 And what is your name, sir?
00:37:09.840 What is your name?
00:37:10.840 Jack, Jack.
00:37:11.840 Your name is Jack, Jack.
00:37:12.840 And how old are you?
00:37:14.840 Four.
00:37:15.840 You're four.
00:37:16.840 And do you have any brothers?
00:37:19.840 I have a baby AJ.
00:37:21.840 You have a baby AJ.
00:37:23.840 Yes.
00:37:24.840 And how old is AJ?
00:37:25.840 Two.
00:37:26.840 Two.
00:37:27.840 Okay.
00:37:28.840 Now, what day is coming up very soon?
00:37:32.840 Christmas.
00:37:33.840 Talking to this one.
00:37:34.840 Talk right here.
00:37:35.840 What day is coming?
00:37:36.840 Christmas.
00:37:37.840 And how many days before Christmas?
00:37:39.840 Remember we're counting?
00:37:41.840 Eight.
00:37:42.840 That's right.
00:37:43.840 Now, tell me, whose birthday is Christmas?
00:37:48.840 Jesus.
00:37:49.840 Jesus' birthday?
00:37:50.840 Yes.
00:37:51.840 And who is Jesus' mom and dad?
00:37:54.840 Joseph and Mary.
00:37:56.840 Joseph and Mary?
00:37:57.840 And baby Jesus.
00:37:58.840 And they had baby Jesus?
00:38:00.840 Yes.
00:38:01.840 And do we go to Israel?
00:38:02.840 Yes.
00:38:03.840 Do you remember?
00:38:04.840 Yes.
00:38:05.840 So, Christmas is coming and tell me, what do you want for Christmas?
00:38:12.840 A giraffe.
00:38:13.840 A giraffe?
00:38:14.840 How?
00:38:15.840 You want a big giraffe or a small giraffe?
00:38:19.840 A small giraffe.
00:38:20.840 Oh, just a small one.
00:38:21.840 Okay.
00:38:22.840 A small giraffe.
00:38:23.840 That's good.
00:38:24.840 And where is the giraffe going to live?
00:38:26.840 I'm going to play with it.
00:38:29.840 Where is he going to sleep?
00:38:30.840 In my room.
00:38:31.840 In my room.
00:38:32.840 He's going to sleep in your room.
00:38:33.840 Yes.
00:38:34.840 And in your bed?
00:38:35.840 In your bed?
00:38:36.840 Yes.
00:38:37.840 Oh, in your bed.
00:38:38.840 Okay.
00:38:39.840 Yes.
00:38:40.840 And what's he going to eat?
00:38:42.840 Pasta.
00:38:44.840 Pasta?
00:38:45.840 Pasta eating giraffe.
00:38:46.840 Just pasta?
00:38:47.840 Yes.
00:38:48.840 Just pasta.
00:38:49.840 Okay.
00:38:50.840 And then, is he, who's going to feed him every day?
00:38:57.840 Me.
00:38:58.840 You're going to feed him?
00:38:59.840 Yes.
00:39:00.840 Okay.
00:39:01.840 And what does AJ, what about AJ, what does he want for Christmas?
00:39:05.840 A train and a monkey.
00:39:07.840 A train and a monkey?
00:39:09.840 Yes.
00:39:10.840 A train full of monkeys?
00:39:11.840 No, just a, no, not a train of monkeys.
00:39:14.840 Just a train daddy.
00:39:15.840 Just a train daddy.
00:39:16.840 Okay.
00:39:17.840 So, so you want a train of monkeys and AJ wants a giraffe.
00:39:21.840 No, no, no.
00:39:23.840 Wait, no.
00:39:24.840 So, one giraffe for mama, one monkey for Jack Jack, and one train for dada, and AJ gets
00:39:31.840 nothing?
00:39:32.840 No.
00:39:33.840 What do you mean?
00:39:35.840 You, you mixed it.
00:39:39.840 I mixed it?
00:39:40.840 Yes.
00:39:41.840 What, okay, tell me right.
00:39:42.840 Tell, tell the right way.
00:39:43.840 What's the right way?
00:39:47.840 Giraffe for me and AJ train and monkey.
00:39:51.840 And what about mama and dada?
00:39:53.840 What do we get for Christmas?
00:39:54.840 What do I want for Christmas?
00:39:59.840 Jack Jack.
00:40:00.840 What do you want to give mama for Christmas?
00:40:01.840 I don't think mama knows what she wants for Christmas, so.
00:40:04.840 By the way, guys, that's, that's a true thing.
00:40:06.840 So, so.
00:40:07.840 Nothing for mama and dada.
00:40:09.840 Nothing.
00:40:10.840 Oh, but I was good this year in church.
00:40:12.840 Wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on.
00:40:13.840 I have to give my advice to the young, to the young kings out there.
00:40:16.840 Um, is that, is that never try to understand what women want, because even women don't
00:40:23.840 want themselves.
00:40:24.840 They don't know what women want themselves.
00:40:27.840 And so it's your job just to essentially give them things and make them happy.
00:40:32.840 Otherwise, but if you sit there and try to ask them, you're never going to, but I'll
00:40:35.840 give you an example.
00:40:36.840 Sweetheart.
00:40:37.840 Where would you like to go to dinner tonight?
00:40:39.840 Look, look at the face.
00:40:41.840 Look at the face.
00:40:42.840 You did not tell me this question.
00:40:44.840 That's not fair.
00:40:47.840 That is not fair, Jack Jack.
00:40:51.840 You're right, Jack Jack.
00:40:52.840 It's not fair.
00:40:53.840 That's women.
00:40:54.840 That's life.
00:40:55.840 Jack Jack, remember, Jack Jack, do you remember what I taught you, right?
00:40:59.840 There's no simping.
00:41:01.840 Why?
00:41:02.840 Because simps are losers.
00:41:05.840 Why?
00:41:06.840 Because all they do is simp all day.
00:41:10.840 Oh no!
00:41:12.840 I know, right?
00:41:14.840 Yeah.
00:41:15.840 Do you want to simp all day?
00:41:17.840 No.
00:41:18.840 What do you want to do all day?
00:41:20.840 Kiss mama.
00:41:21.840 Kiss mama!
00:41:22.840 Jack Jack, do you, okay, do you like girls?
00:41:27.840 Yes.
00:41:28.840 Yes.
00:41:29.840 Um, do you want to kiss girls?
00:41:31.840 Yes.
00:41:32.840 Who do you want to kiss?
00:41:33.840 Mama and Nana.
00:41:34.840 That's right, Mama and Nana.
00:41:36.840 Jack Jack, I have a question for you.
00:41:37.840 What?
00:41:38.840 Um, are there girls and boys?
00:41:41.840 Yes.
00:41:42.840 There's girls and boys.
00:41:43.840 Okay.
00:41:44.840 Can girls become boys?
00:41:47.840 No.
00:41:49.840 Can boys become girls?
00:41:50.840 No.
00:41:51.840 Why?
00:41:52.840 Because they're just boys and girls.
00:41:55.840 Exactly.
00:41:56.840 That's right.
00:41:57.840 High five.
00:42:00.840 High five.
00:42:02.840 Can I have one?
00:42:03.840 Okay.
00:42:05.840 High five.
00:42:06.840 High five.
00:42:08.840 Down low.
00:42:09.840 Too slow.
00:42:12.840 Got you, Jack Jack.
00:42:13.840 Oh no, daddy.
00:42:14.840 I got you.
00:42:15.840 I got you.
00:42:16.840 Good.
00:42:17.840 I got you.
00:42:18.840 So Jack Jack, wait, wait, wait.
00:42:19.840 Why did you say mama and daddy get nothing?
00:42:22.840 Because I didn't know.
00:42:23.840 You don't know?
00:42:24.840 Why do you not know?
00:42:25.840 Because I don't know what you and mama take.
00:42:28.840 But we were so good.
00:42:30.840 Were we good to you this year?
00:42:32.840 Yes.
00:42:33.840 Did we take good care of you?
00:42:35.840 Yes.
00:42:36.840 Did we take you to Israel and Florida and Arizona?
00:42:41.840 Yes.
00:42:43.840 Yes, I did.
00:42:44.840 And was it fun?
00:42:45.840 Yes.
00:42:46.840 And did you learn swimming this year?
00:42:48.840 Yes, but I don't know what can you and mama take for Christmas.
00:42:53.840 What do you want us to take?
00:42:54.840 What do you want to give us?
00:42:55.840 Maybe make it a surprise for mama and dada.
00:42:57.840 What surprise do you want to give mama and dada?
00:43:00.840 What surprise do you want to give mama and dada?
00:43:02.840 He's got purported.
00:43:03.840 Oh, it's a surprise.
00:43:04.840 He doesn't want to tell us now.
00:43:06.840 But he couldn't know.
00:43:07.840 What are you doing, Jack?
00:43:08.840 Jack Jack, what are you doing?
00:43:11.840 What's he doing?
00:43:12.840 Sweetheart, what's going on?
00:43:13.840 I have no idea.
00:43:14.840 Jack Jack.
00:43:15.840 Oh, it's a sugar crash, isn't it?
00:43:17.840 A big robot for daddy and a big bird for mama.
00:43:20.840 A big...
00:43:21.840 Oh, wait.
00:43:22.840 Oh, we've got an answer here.
00:43:23.840 So you were thinking.
00:43:24.840 You were thinking?
00:43:25.840 A robot for daddy and a bird for mama.
00:43:31.840 And a bird for mommy.
00:43:33.840 Oh, a bird for mama.
00:43:35.840 I want a big robot.
00:43:36.840 Wow, thank you.
00:43:37.840 I want lots of...
00:43:38.840 Can I have a whole army of robots?
00:43:40.840 Yes, sir, you can.
00:43:41.840 Yeah!
00:43:42.840 I want 1,000 robots.
00:43:44.840 1,000 giant robots.
00:43:46.840 Navy.
00:43:47.840 Navy chest.
00:43:50.840 38 robots.
00:43:51.840 Alright, we'll start with 38.
00:43:53.840 Okay.
00:43:54.840 And then how many next year?
00:43:56.840 Maybe...
00:43:58.840 39.
00:43:59.840 39?
00:44:00.840 Okay, sounds good.
00:44:01.840 So you've got to start somewhere, folks.
00:44:02.840 Your robot army can't begin with only...
00:44:04.840 with 1,000.
00:44:05.840 You can't start at the top of the mountain.
00:44:07.840 You've got to work your way up.
00:44:08.840 Mama, you want some birds?
00:44:09.840 So mama's getting a bird?
00:44:10.840 I think bird is a really nice surprise for mama.
00:44:13.840 Tell me more about this bird.
00:44:14.840 Maybe mama can have 35 birds.
00:44:18.840 Uh-huh.
00:44:19.840 Okay.
00:44:20.840 And then that many birds?
00:44:21.840 I thought it was just one.
00:44:23.840 And maybe four giraffes for me.
00:44:27.840 And four giraffes.
00:44:28.840 And what about AJ?
00:44:29.840 Two...
00:44:30.840 Two...
00:44:31.840 Two...
00:44:32.840 Two trains for AJ and two monkeys for AJ.
00:44:35.840 What about Uncle Kevin?
00:44:37.840 Was Uncle Kevin good this year or bad?
00:44:40.840 Bad!
00:44:41.840 Bad!
00:44:42.840 Bad!
00:44:43.840 Uh-oh.
00:44:44.840 Sorry.
00:44:45.840 Sorry, Uncle Kevin.
00:44:46.840 I don't know.
00:44:47.840 Naughtiness.
00:44:48.840 We had somebody taking notes here and he came in a little short.
00:44:51.840 If Uncle Kevin was bad, what does he get?
00:44:53.840 Nothing.
00:44:54.840 Nothing!
00:44:55.840 Sorry.
00:44:56.840 He said he wants...
00:44:57.840 Did Uncle Kevin get a new truck?
00:44:59.840 Yes.
00:45:00.840 He did.
00:45:01.840 Did he give you a ride in his new truck?
00:45:02.840 Yes.
00:45:03.840 Yes.
00:45:04.840 And where did you go?
00:45:05.840 To Legoland.
00:45:06.840 Legoland?
00:45:07.840 You went to Legoland with Uncle Kevin in the new truck?
00:45:10.840 That sounds like fun.
00:45:12.840 What?
00:45:13.840 That's not fair!
00:45:15.840 I went to Mama's car of age in Legoland!
00:45:18.840 Oh, that's...
00:45:19.840 But you also went with Uncle Kevin, right?
00:45:21.840 To the car.
00:45:22.840 To the car, yes.
00:45:23.840 After it was night.
00:45:24.840 After it was night.
00:45:25.840 Yes.
00:45:26.840 Do you want to go back to Legoland with Uncle Kevin?
00:45:28.840 Yes, and Mama to Nana and Papa and Dada.
00:45:32.840 That's a nice Christmas wish.
00:45:34.840 That's what you want for Christmas?
00:45:35.840 Yes.
00:45:36.840 So, Jack-Jack, for Christmas, do you love spending time with family?
00:45:41.840 No!
00:45:42.840 No!
00:45:43.840 Are you tricking?
00:45:45.840 Jack-Jack, remember we did with Mama and AJ, we and you, we went and picked up a Christmas tree.
00:45:55.840 Was it...
00:45:56.840 No Christmas trees!
00:45:58.840 We have a big Christmas tree.
00:46:01.840 And you helped me put on the lights and the toys?
00:46:03.840 No!
00:46:04.840 A Dada Christmas tree!
00:46:06.840 A Dada...
00:46:07.840 And what, what else does our Christmas tree have that's very special on it?
00:46:10.840 Um...
00:46:11.840 I'm Mama on top.
00:46:13.840 No.
00:46:14.840 No, a certain kind of dried item?
00:46:17.840 Yes.
00:46:18.840 What is it?
00:46:19.840 No!
00:46:20.840 Well, it does have an angel.
00:46:21.840 At the top of the tree, we have an...
00:46:23.840 Angel!
00:46:24.840 That's right, because you need an angel at the top of every Christmas tree, every proper Christmas tree.
00:46:29.840 But what else do we have that's sort of a, um, a traditional item as an ornament?
00:46:39.840 Which one are you referring to?
00:46:41.840 We have that dried fruit that you cut up?
00:46:45.840 Uh, yes, we have, um, okay.
00:46:48.840 Uh, this year I put on some dried oranges on the tree.
00:46:53.840 Dude, how do you make those?
00:46:55.840 Um, so, it's, um, it's actually very easy to make.
00:46:58.840 No!
00:46:59.840 You, uh, just take an orange, uh, you slice it, and you bake it in the oven.
00:47:04.840 No!
00:47:05.840 No, no, no!
00:47:06.840 Did you help Mama bake the oranges and put them on the tree?
00:47:10.840 Yeah!
00:47:11.840 We were doing it together.
00:47:12.840 Yes, I think you did.
00:47:13.840 Remember?
00:47:14.840 I think you did it together, remember?
00:47:15.840 And you were helping me put them on the tree, remember?
00:47:17.840 You had a little, uh, Christmas toy.
00:47:20.840 This is why they say never work with, uh, with kids and animals, folks.
00:47:23.840 Jack-Jack, do you, do you like any Christmas songs?
00:47:27.840 Yes.
00:47:28.840 You do?
00:47:29.840 What Christmas song do you like?
00:47:32.840 I don't know.
00:47:34.840 Do you like the one that goes...
00:47:36.840 Jingle...
00:47:39.840 Bells!
00:47:40.840 Jingle bells!
00:47:41.840 Jingle all the way!
00:47:43.840 Oh, what fun it is to ride in a wondrous open sleigh!
00:47:47.840 Hey!
00:47:48.840 Jingle bells!
00:47:49.840 Jingle bells!
00:47:50.840 Jingle all the way!
00:47:52.840 Oh, what fun it is to ride in a wondrous open sleigh!
00:47:57.840 Deck the halls with boughs and foley!
00:47:59.840 Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!
00:48:02.840 Tis the season to be jolly!
00:48:05.840 Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!
00:48:08.840 Don we now our gay apparel!
00:48:11.840 Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la!
00:48:13.840 La-la-la-la!
00:48:14.840 Tore the ancient yuletide carol!
00:48:17.840 Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!
00:48:21.840 Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
00:48:24.840 Ladies and gentlemen, you have my permission to lay ashore.
00:48:27.840 I think so.
00:48:29.840 Overnight wait is there!
00:48:30.840 What about the keyี่icss thought?
00:48:31.840 Oh wow, you'rehey!
