Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec - SUNDAY SPECIAL： UKRAINISTAN - THE BATTLEGROUND OF EMPIRES

00:00:00.000 America prepares. All America alters its pattern of life and work to meet the demand for protection.

00:00:17.000 Industry is a double step to supply the sinews of safety, the armaments of war that an embattled world must have if democracy is to survive.

00:00:26.000 Mechanical genius joins with the muscle of millions of men, working to win for the ways of freedom. Freedom to think, to speak, to rise, live and plan with one's fellow man.

00:00:40.000 America's vast resources are harnessed to the job of being the world arsenal for this and other democracies.

00:00:47.000 Its present day production of armaments is but a mere fraction of the great job that lies ahead.

00:00:55.000 The flow of production in plant and shipyard gains speed. Vessels of all types, carriers, merchantmen, submarines, slip off the ways in growing numbers.

00:01:06.000 And the beat of feet sounds over the land. Feet intent on training, on growing fit for whatever destiny holds ahead.

00:01:18.000 Heroes, everyone. Heroes by the million. Men who abandon home and vocations that they may be ready to defend democracy if necessary.

00:01:27.000 Sturdy of body, firm in spirit, seamen, marines, soldiers and flyers. A huge civilian army joins in this great defense program.

00:01:36.000 Rigid rough work this training. Actual combat is simulated. Conditions met and mastered. No problem that may arise will find these men wanting.

00:01:46.000 We know. We know. We know. We know. Russia will lose.

00:01:55.000 And we we really know the victory. The victory will change the world. And this will be a change that the world has long needed.

00:02:06.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard. Today's edition of this Human Events Sunday Special.

00:02:13.000 This is Ukrainianistan, the battleground of empires.

00:02:18.000 So we've just passed the one year anniversary of the war in Ukraine.

00:02:24.000 Or should we say the kickoff of this phase of the war of Ukraine?

00:02:28.000 Because some people say that it started all the way back in 2014 with the annexation of Crimea.

00:02:37.000 Others say that it began all the way back in 2013 with the Maidan revolution, which former President Trump just earlier this week.

00:02:49.000 There's no coincidence that he was talking about this just earlier this week confirmed was done at the behest of the Obama State Department.

00:03:00.000 The U.S., NATO, the globalist American empire has been engaged in these operations for nearly a decade now.

00:03:13.000 And what we're seeing is the response. The empire of the west versus the empire of the east.

00:03:24.000 The globalist American empire. Versus a resurgent Russia. 0.78

00:03:30.000 A new czar. Working in collaboration with Beijing and the global south.

00:03:36.000 The consequences could be dire. We're going to break that down.

00:03:41.000 Not just the consequences for the battlefield, but the consequences for the civilians.

00:03:46.000 The families caught in the middle.

00:03:49.000 The innocents were being killed, but also the even far greater consequences.

00:03:56.000 Of escalation into a third world war with nuclear powers.

00:04:03.000 From the Associated Press states.

00:04:06.000 Ukraine is waiting for battle tanks and other weapons pledged by the west, but nowhere in sight is a settlement.

00:04:14.000 The Kremlin is insisting that it must include the recognition of the Crimean Peninsula, which it annexed in 2014, along with the acceptance of other territorial gains.

00:04:22.000 Ukraine categorically rejects those demands and rules out any talks until Russia withdraws all forces.

00:04:28.000 We also know from former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett of Israel that there was a peace deal worked out within just one month.

00:04:37.000 Of the initial invasion.

00:04:40.000 One year ago.

00:04:42.000 Between Ukraine and Russia, between Zelensky and Putin.

00:04:45.000 Naftali Bennett said he was brokering this thing.

00:04:47.000 He was passing messages between them and they were going to work on a peace deal.

00:04:51.000 Recognition for certain territories.

00:04:54.000 Withdrawal of troops.

00:04:55.000 And a dropping of the insistence of Ukraine to join NATO.

00:05:01.000 For NATO membership.

00:05:03.000 So the globalist American empire's military would not be on Russia's borders.

00:05:07.000 That Ukraine would return to a neutral status.

00:05:10.000 Well, it turns out.

00:05:12.000 That was blown up.

00:05:13.000 By who?

00:05:14.000 President Biden and Boris Johnson.

00:05:16.000 Back to the AP.

00:05:18.000 Experts warn that Europe's longest conflict since World War Two could drag on for years and some fear it could lead to a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO.

00:05:27.000 We're going to break that down for you and explain exactly what it would mean if Russia and NATO actually came to direct blows.

00:05:34.000 In short, the end of the world.

00:05:36.000 We're going to break down what that means.

00:05:38.000 In recent months, Russian forces have tried to encircle the Ukrainian stronghold of Bakhmut, pushing deeper into Donetsk, along with fulfilling their goals of capturing the entire Donbass.

00:05:47.000 They're weighing down and wearing down Ukrainian forces and presenting them from starting offenses elsewhere, preventing them.

00:05:55.000 Bakhmut has become a symbol for Ukraine and Russia, as well as a way to tie up forces on both sides.

00:06:04.000 Russia has relied on its massive arsenal and boosted production of weapons and munitions, giving it a significant advantage.

00:06:12.000 This is the thing.

00:06:14.000 Russia's offensive could be wider than Donbass.

00:06:18.000 It could be a gamble.

00:06:19.000 But remember, they mobilized 300,000 reservists.

00:06:24.000 We're talking trench warfare.

00:06:27.000 Drones using precision targeting to be able to take out specific tanks on the battlefield.

00:06:35.000 What does that leave you with?

00:06:37.000 That leaves you with World War One style.

00:06:40.000 Fighting in the trenches.

00:06:42.000 Fighting in the winters.

00:06:44.000 Russia and Ukraine, this battlefield, and this area, this land, has seen battle after battle after battle over the years.

00:06:54.000 And once again, another empire from the West is fighting on this territory against another empire from the East.

00:07:03.000 Is there a strategic national objective for the United States in this?

00:07:10.000 There isn't.

00:07:11.000 But what's going to remain?

00:07:13.000 I'll tell you.

00:07:15.000 Ukrainistan.

00:07:16.000 Keep in mind that it was only a few months after the United States pulled out of Afghanistan that all of this kicked off.

00:07:25.000 And you look at the results of Afghanistan after 20 years of war.

00:07:29.000 Cities destroyed.

00:07:30.000 An entire country in ruins.

00:07:33.000 Same with Iraq. 0.66

00:07:34.000 Same as what happened to massive swaths of Syria.

00:07:37.000 And what does the globalist American empire do?

00:07:40.000 They move on.

00:07:42.000 They focus their attention elsewhere and they pretend like it never happened.

00:07:47.000 We act as if we didn't spend all that money, all that blood, and all that treasure.

00:07:54.000 And more to the point, we've started up again with another hot proxy war that is only going to end in further death and destruction.

00:08:05.000 We'll get into it.

00:08:06.000 Come back here.

00:08:07.000 Ukrainistan.

00:08:08.000 The Battleground of Empires.

00:08:12.000 In recognizing a communist, physical appearance counts for nothing.

00:08:17.000 If he openly declares himself to be a communist, we take his word for it.

00:08:24.000 If a person consistently reads and advocates the views expressed in a communist publication, he may be a communist.

00:08:33.000 If a person supports organizations which reflect communist teachings, or organizations labeled communist by the Department of Justice, she may be a communist.

00:08:45.000 If a person defends the activities of communist nations while consistently attacking the domestic and foreign policy of the United States, she may be a communist.

00:08:55.000 If a person does all these things over a period of time, he must be a communist.

00:09:02.000 But there are other communists who don't show their real faces, who work more silently.

00:09:10.000 Coming up.

00:09:11.000 Condemnation of Russian President Vladimir Putin as world sport takes a stand from the football pitch to the Paralympics and motor racing.

00:09:20.000 Bans implemented and events canceled as the door is slowly shut on Russia.

00:09:25.000 For the first time in recent memory, we are seeing the likes of FIFA, UEFA, and other giants crumble under global pressure to take a united front.

00:09:34.000 Russian teams are banned from competition.

00:09:36.000 Sporting events are moved or canceled altogether.

00:09:39.000 Sponsorships across all sports and divisions are ended.

00:09:43.000 These are just some of the outcomes so far as the international sporting community moves to further isolate Russia.

00:09:49.000 Information warfare has always been the forefront of warfare.

00:09:54.000 So what we're seeing now.

00:09:56.000 It's what I've said for a long time.

00:09:58.000 It's been said all throughout history.

00:10:00.000 The first casualty in war is the truth.

00:10:04.000 And if you think for a second that mainstream media, corporate media, whether it be British, whether it be American or Russian, for that matter, is giving you the truth about what's actually happening on the ground in Ukraine, then you're not paying attention.

00:10:17.000 It'd be like watching a Netflix documentary and thinking that you know everything about a certain subject.

00:10:22.000 You just don't.

00:10:24.000 Those things are not made.

00:10:26.000 They are not financed without a point, without somebody trying to make money.

00:10:30.000 And they're making money by persuading you.

00:10:35.000 They're always trying to sell you something always.

00:10:40.000 And in this case, they're trying to sell you on war.

00:10:46.000 The type of information warfare that we see in the world today, it's very similar to the information warfare of the past.

00:10:58.000 However, it is far more sophisticated.

00:11:00.000 In the past, you might be able to put up something that really focused on your enemy, particularly signifying racial characteristics, ethnic differences, and focusing on that as the distinctive other.

00:11:14.000 Remember this member of the out group.

00:11:16.000 Of course, following 9-11, that was not allowed.

00:11:19.000 America has become far more PC of a country.

00:11:22.000 And so the propaganda must be much more sophisticated.

00:11:25.000 Plus, because of the advent of mainstream media, people are not used to necessarily seeing something so in front.

00:11:32.000 So in their face.

00:11:35.000 So instead, what you end up getting is fake news.

00:11:39.000 You get news based on anonymous sources.

00:11:42.000 Anonymous sources telling you about horrific atrocities on both sides.

00:11:48.000 And you say, well, this must be done.

00:11:52.000 This invasion must take place in order to stop those atrocities.

00:11:56.000 Yet nobody ever actually stops to wait for evidence of them.

00:11:59.000 You know, I remember talking to a friend of mine in the U.S. Navy who had been on the USS Kearsarge before the bombing of Libya that eventually led to the Arab Spring, eventually led to the takedown of Gaddafi and the complete destruction of that country.

00:12:17.000 Completely reduced to rubble.

00:12:19.000 Because when you commit regime change somewhere, you don't know what you're going to unleash.

00:12:26.000 You don't know what you're going to get.

00:12:29.000 Remember, Germany tried this in the past with Russia when they said we're going to knock Russia out of World War One. 0.50

00:12:35.000 So we're going to send a train full of Bolsheviks and Vladimir Lenin back into Russia. 0.92

00:12:40.000 What did they unleash?

00:12:41.000 Oh, that's right.

00:12:42.000 A little thing called the Soviet Union.

00:12:44.000 How did that work out for everybody?

00:12:46.000 So just because you don't like a certain regime.

00:12:49.000 You never know what you're going to unleash.

00:12:53.000 And the information war that we see now is always pushed in furtherance of regime change.

00:12:59.000 The United States, the globalist American empire going to meddle in parts of the world where we want our interests.

00:13:08.000 We want our rights.

00:13:09.000 We want our power.

00:13:11.000 But the problem is the narratives used to focus on this are always prepackaged and handed to you on a silver platter.

00:13:25.000 The villains, the heroes, which side you're supposed to support.

00:13:29.000 How many times were we told that something was going to remember the ghost of Kiev from early on in this thing?

00:13:38.000 This hero that we were all supposed to support.

00:13:41.000 The one that we were supposed to love that we're supposed to be behind.

00:13:44.000 It was completely fake.

00:13:46.000 They were using video game footage.

00:13:49.000 And I also want to explain to you the amount of social conditioning that's going on in the United States since really about the same period of time.

00:14:02.000 They are programming you. 0.94

00:14:07.000 To have a soldier's mind to kill.

00:14:11.000 Whether it's video games, whether it's Russia gate.

00:14:16.000 Whether it's movies, whether it's TV shows like House of Cards.

00:14:20.000 All of a sudden.

00:14:22.000 We are being primed once again.

00:14:25.000 To view this country.

00:14:27.000 As our eternal enemy.

00:14:31.000 And the question is, what's the existential threat to the United States exactly?

00:14:34.000 Yes, they do have nuclear weapons.

00:14:36.000 So do we.

00:14:37.000 But are they threatening us?

00:14:40.000 We're threatening them, certainly.

00:14:42.000 We're the ones trying to push our military.

00:14:44.000 The globalist American empire's military.

00:14:47.000 Towards their borders.

00:14:48.000 Closer and closer every year.

00:14:50.000 But essentially what we're really doing.

00:14:53.000 What the regime's really been doing for such a long time.

00:14:56.000 Number one.

00:14:58.000 They're creating their villain.

00:15:00.000 They're making them scapegoats.

00:15:03.000 They're obsessed with them.

00:15:06.000 But here's the real thing.

00:15:09.000 They want them to be a scapegoat for everything that our own crooked regime has done at home.

00:15:19.000 The gutting of middle America. 0.65

00:15:24.000 The gutting of the South.

00:15:26.000 The destruction of the middle class. 0.76

00:15:29.000 That wasn't done by Russia.

00:15:30.000 That wasn't done by China.

00:15:31.000 That wasn't done by Iran.

00:15:32.000 That was done by our own elites.

00:15:35.000 Now our own elites certainly have worked with China in order to do this.

00:15:40.000 That goes without question.

00:15:42.000 But of course the CCP is going to do that because it's in their interest.

00:15:47.000 They're the ones getting rich off of all of this.

00:15:49.000 That's why they're resurgent.

00:15:50.000 And of course what are they doing now?

00:15:52.000 They're turning around and they're backing Russia in this fight. 0.51

00:15:55.000 Well at the same time knowing.

00:15:57.000 That because they have the United States by the economic shorthairs.

00:16:01.000 There's not much that the US leaders can do about it at the end of the day.

00:16:06.000 And especially when you have a president like we do.

00:16:09.000 Who has a son that's deeply involved or has been deeply involved with the CCP as well as Ukrainian oligarchs.

00:16:16.000 It's simple.

00:16:18.000 So the information war comes at you from all sides.

00:16:22.000 You don't know it's truth.

00:16:23.000 You don't know it's fiction.

00:16:25.000 You don't know when you pick up your app and you watch a video.

00:16:28.000 Is that real?

00:16:29.000 Did that happen?

00:16:31.000 Look at the power of deepfakes lately.

00:16:33.000 Look at the power of voice AI modulation and cloning.

00:16:37.000 You can make anyone say anything.

00:16:39.000 And who's to say that the mainstream media would not use those same tactics.

00:16:47.000 Against the United States.

00:16:50.000 Who are you going to trust?

00:16:52.000 The FBI.

00:16:53.000 The CIA.

00:16:54.000 After all the lying.

00:16:56.000 That they've gone through.

00:16:58.000 Go read the plot against the president or go watch the plot against the president.

00:17:02.000 By the fantastic.

00:17:04.000 Amanda Milius and Lee Smith.

00:17:07.000 Everything is real and nothing is real.

00:17:12.000 Everything is real and nothing is real.

00:17:16.000 When you live in an information environment.

00:17:19.000 Where you cannot trust anything.

00:17:22.000 Anything you see.

00:17:24.000 Anything you read.

00:17:25.000 That's the real war. 0.89

00:17:28.000 The real war is the information war.

00:17:32.000 As somebody once said.

00:17:35.000 There's a war on for your mind.

00:17:38.000 Because once they control your mind.

00:17:41.000 They control you.

00:17:42.000 They control your ability.

00:17:44.000 To make decisions within the framework that they've provided.

00:17:48.000 That's what the Overton window is.

00:17:50.000 The Overton window is the set.

00:17:52.000 Of topics.

00:17:53.000 Discussions.

00:17:54.000 Discussions.

00:17:55.000 And issues.

00:17:56.000 That are allowed.

00:17:57.000 In a society.

00:18:00.000 Some topics.

00:18:01.000 Some discussions.

00:18:02.000 Are not allowed.

00:18:03.000 To be had.

00:18:04.000 So this is something that President Trump used to push.

00:18:06.000 Where he used to say.

00:18:08.000 Shouldn't we have.

00:18:09.000 A peace deal.

00:18:11.000 With Russia. 0.96

00:18:12.000 Shouldn't we have a good relationship with them.

00:18:14.000 That they're one of the strongest.

00:18:15.000 Nuclear powers on the face of the planet.

00:18:17.000 Arguably.

00:18:19.000 One of the most powerful.

00:18:21.000 Certainly.

00:18:22.000 The only one that's up here with the United States.

00:18:24.000 Actually have more.

00:18:25.000 Nuclear warheads.

00:18:26.000 Than the United States.

00:18:30.000 So wouldn't it benefit everyone.

00:18:32.000 If we had a good relationship with them.

00:18:36.000 And because he said that.

00:18:38.000 At the Helsinki summit.

00:18:40.000 I was there.

00:18:42.000 They called him a traitor.

00:18:44.000 They said it was a treason summit.

00:18:48.000 I remember standing.

00:18:50.000 Right by.

00:18:51.000 Jim Acosta.

00:18:52.000 When he said that on CNN.

00:18:54.000 And you had better believe.

00:18:56.000 That Russia's propaganda machine.

00:18:58.000 Is on fire.

00:18:59.000 Right now.

00:19:00.000 As well.

00:19:02.000 Telling everyone.

00:19:04.000 At home.

00:19:05.000 That the United States government.

00:19:07.000 Is coming.

00:19:08.000 For.

00:19:09.000 You.

00:19:10.000 The US military.

00:19:11.000 Is coming.

00:19:12.000 For. 0.97

00:19:13.000 The corrupt elites.

00:19:15.000 That run. 0.92

00:19:16.000 The United States.

00:19:17.000 Are trying to destroy.

00:19:18.000 Russia.

00:19:19.000 You see those rallies.

00:19:20.000 With Putin.

00:19:21.000 Outside of Moscow.

00:19:22.000 You think those people.

00:19:23.000 Are paid to be there.

00:19:24.000 No.

00:19:25.000 Go look at.

00:19:26.000 Any of.

00:19:28.000 The independent polls.

00:19:29.000 Being run in Russia.

00:19:31.000 The vast majority of people.

00:19:33.000 Support him there.

00:19:34.000 Why.

00:19:37.000 Because they don't view this.

00:19:38.000 This war.

00:19:39.000 As a fight.

00:19:40.000 Of Russia. 0.80

00:19:41.000 And Ukraine.

00:19:42.000 They view it as.

00:19:43.000 Russia.

00:19:44.000 And the West.

00:19:45.000 Because that's what Biden.

00:19:47.000 And that's what Newland.

00:19:48.000 And Tony Blinken.

00:19:49.000 And these.

00:19:50.000 Well.

00:19:51.000 Educated. 1.00

00:19:52.000 Idiots. 1.00

00:19:53.000 Have set it all up as. 1.00

00:19:55.000 So you've allowed.

00:19:56.000 Russia.

00:19:58.000 To play.

00:19:59.000 On.

00:20:00.000 The deepest.

00:20:01.000 Darkest. 0.94

00:20:02.000 Fears.

00:20:03.000 Of their own people.

00:20:06.000 And in doing so.

00:20:08.000 You've allowed them to expand.

00:20:10.000 Their overs and window.

00:20:12.000 To go.

00:20:13.000 Even.

00:20:14.000 Further.

00:20:15.000 Than they ever.

00:20:16.000 Would have.

00:20:17.000 Without it.

00:20:18.000 Great job.

00:20:19.000 Great job.

00:20:20.000 U.S. government.

00:20:21.000 Great job.

00:20:22.000 U.S. leaders.

00:20:23.000 You've done very well.

00:20:24.000 So because of that.

00:20:26.000 You are empowering.

00:20:27.000 The worst.

00:20:29.000 Elements.

00:20:31.000 The hard line.

00:20:32.000 Elements.

00:20:33.000 Within the Kremlin.

00:20:35.000 Do you actually.

00:20:36.000 Think.

00:20:38.000 That there aren't.

00:20:39.000 People in there.

00:20:40.000 Calling for the use.

00:20:41.000 Of nuclear weapons.

00:20:42.000 Of course.

00:20:43.000 There are.

00:20:44.000 There are people.

00:20:45.000 That want to go.

00:20:46.000 Hard.

00:20:47.000 And you.

00:20:48.000 Should.

00:20:49.000 Be afraid.

00:20:51.000 You should be.

00:20:53.000 In the very next.

00:20:54.000 Segment here.

00:20:55.000 We are going to discuss.

00:20:56.000 The realities.

00:20:57.000 Of nuclear war.

00:20:59.000 Because it seems to me.

00:21:00.000 That a lot of people.

00:21:01.000 People.

00:21:02.000 Have forgotten.

00:21:03.000 About what that means.

00:21:04.000 About how many people.

00:21:05.000 Are going to die.

00:21:06.000 And how many people. 0.57

00:21:08.000 Would wish.

00:21:09.000 They had died.

00:21:10.000 In the opening.

00:21:11.000 Salvo.

00:21:12.000 Of a nuclear war.

00:21:13.000 And the horrific.

00:21:15.000 Nightmare.

00:21:16.000 That life.

00:21:17.000 On earth.

00:21:18.000 Would become after.

00:21:19.000 A bad fight.

00:21:20.000 No.

00:21:21.000 And the.

00:21:22.000 A bad fight.

00:21:23.000 It.

00:21:24.000 The threat of.

00:21:25.000 Hydrogen.

00:21:26.000 Bomb.

00:21:27.000 Warfare.

00:21:28.000 Is the.

00:21:29.000 Greatest.

00:21:30.000 Danger.

00:21:31.000 Our nation.

00:21:32.000 Has ever.

00:21:33.000 Known.

00:21:34.000 Enemy jet.

00:21:35.000 Bombers. 0.61

00:21:36.000 Can sweep over.

00:21:37.000 A variety of.

00:21:38.000 Roots.

00:21:39.000 And drop. 0.99

00:21:40.000 Bombs.

00:21:41.000 our way of life and every city town and village from coast to coast these are the signs of the

00:21:47.420 time only in practice now a rehearsal a training exercise but tomorrow this siren may mean the

00:22:00.020 real thing and if you hear it as you drive in your auto as you sit in your office or work at

00:22:07.720 your bench wherever you are what will you do what will happen to you let's face it your life

00:22:19.240 the fate of your community and the fate of your nation depends on what you do when enemy bombers

00:22:25.580 head for our cities to defend russia and our people we will certainly make use of all weapon 0.97

00:22:33.740 systems available to us this is not a bluff the citizens of russia can rest assured that the

00:22:41.480 territorial integrity of our motherland our independence and freedom will be defended i

00:22:46.100 repeat by all the systems available to us those who are using nuclear blackmail against us should

00:22:53.660 know that the wind can turn their way the illegal russian offensive has been swift callous and brutal

00:23:00.140 it's barbaric putin's illegal occupation of kiev and the impending chinese blockade of taiwan

00:23:06.060 has created a two-front national security crisis that requires more troops than the volunteer military

00:23:11.540 can supply i have received guidance from general milley chairman of the joint chiefs that the

00:23:17.320 recommended way forward will be to invoke the selective service act as is my authority as president

00:23:22.740 the first to be called in a sequence determined by national lottery will be men and women whose 20th

00:23:29.200 birthday falls during calendar year 2023 remember you're not sending your sons and daughters to war

00:23:35.420 you're sending them to freedom god bless our troops and god bless ukraine god bless our troops god bless

00:23:42.580 ukraine what we just played for you was a sneak preview coming attractions

00:23:50.900 a glimpse into the world beyond now that was an ai i want to say recreation but maybe a pre-creation

00:24:04.760 a pre-creation of president biden designed and scripted by our producers here for the show

00:24:12.740 of what could happen if president biden were to declare and activate the selective service act

00:24:21.380 and begin drafting 20 year olds here in the united states that means if you're turning 20 this year

00:24:28.000 you would be the first to be drafted using national lottery

00:24:31.440 it would then go 21 22 23 24 25 then down to 19 and 18 in that order that's the way it's written

00:24:43.120 do you understand the gravity of what we're talking about

00:24:49.840 and i've talked before about the threat of mission creep in ukraine

00:24:55.460 because currently the u.s doesn't have troops on the ground but there's volunteers there's defense

00:25:05.320 contractors pretty soon there's going to be a question of what exactly is the point where u.s

00:25:12.440 involvement stops becoming just aid and actually becomes material

00:25:18.220 support to the fight because here's the point

00:25:23.880 all those tanks all those systems all those weapons that are being sent across

00:25:30.940 well those need maintenance

00:25:33.640 do the soldiers do the mechanics the engineers in ukraine have the ability to maintain you as

00:25:40.340 equipment well then we'll say well we're just going to send a few trainers over

00:25:43.480 now we're just going to send a few auditors a few inspectors and what happens

00:25:47.340 when one wayward missile missile strike one wayward uh air defense some accident

00:25:56.500 kills active duty u.s troops in a war zone even if it's one or two

00:26:04.640 the american people will cry out for blood

00:26:13.020 this is why mission creep is real it's exactly what happened to vietnam by the way the

00:26:16.760 exact same thing happened to vietnam but here's the difference vietnam wasn't a nuclear power

00:26:23.300 korea wasn't a nuclear power afghanistan libya iraq syria none of these were nuclear powers russia on the

00:26:34.100 other hand is a nuclear power so you better wake up and understand the reality

00:26:39.920 arms control dot org

00:26:43.300 they did a study a couple years ago working with princeton and it talked about plan a called a plan a

00:26:54.120 78 years ago the united states tested the world's first nuclear weapon in new mexico and then used

00:27:02.620 one to destroy hiroshima and another to destroy nagasaki as devastating as they were these atomic 0.93

00:27:09.300 bombs were small by today's standards each exploding with just a tenth of the explosive

00:27:14.580 yield of typical nuclear warheads today deployed on missiles submarines and planes by a handful of

00:27:20.000 countries fortunately no nuclear weapons have been used in combat since the bombings in japan

00:27:25.360 but of course this risk ebbed and flowed throughout the cold war and keep in mind they wrote this

00:27:33.040 in 2020 in 2020 princeton of all places pointed out the united states and russia have abandoned

00:27:41.200 long-standing nuclear arms control treaties started develop new kinds of nuclear weapons and expanded

00:27:47.220 the circumstances in which they might use nuclear weapons however a nuclear exchange might start it could

00:27:54.460 quickly escalate from a local disaster into a global catastrophe and so they put together a simulation

00:28:02.320 i want to go through that simulation with you the first becomes what we call nuclear warning shots

00:28:11.220 the simulation begins in a context of a conventional conflict so the u.s and nato are at forces now keep

00:28:19.300 in mind you could see this in western ukraine let's say the russian advance the russian offense

00:28:24.440 just for sake of argument is extremely effective in eastern ukraine pushes the ukrainians all the 0.96

00:28:31.600 way back to the neper threatens kiev well joe biden as we said in the video just there we played in the

00:28:39.400 video calls for a draft sets up a chinese blockade around taiwan that he has to respond to so you need the

00:28:50.000 u.s navy activated and then nato calls for a green zone a safe zone in western ukraine particularly around

00:28:59.400 lviv and they begin to deploy troops or prepare to deploy troops into western ukraine so i want you to take

00:29:10.140 that real world possibility and then apply it to this princeton study from a couple years ago that's what we're going to do

00:29:17.000 here in hopes of halting the nato advance russia launches a nuclear warning shot from a base near the city of

00:29:26.560 kaliningrad nato then retaliates with a single tactical nuclear airstrikes we're talking about tactical nuclear

00:29:33.860 airstrikes but what's happened in this scenario is that russia just blew up an entire nato base and killed all the nato

00:29:44.100 soldiers there that were planning to participate in that advance so in the study they called an advance

00:29:50.500 but couldn't we just say in this scenario that maybe it was the troops that were planning on

00:29:55.100 securing the green zone in western ukraine come on we're just going through scenarios here this is all

00:30:01.340 hypothetical but that's the thing right folks it's all theory until it's not it's all hypothetical

00:30:09.240 until it's not it's all up in the air until it's in the air over your heads and over your houses

00:30:15.740 step two the tactical plan as the nuclear threshold is crossed fighting escalates to tactical nuclear war in europe

00:30:24.640 russia sends 300 nuclear warheads via aircraft and short-range missiles to hit nato bases and advancing troops 0.58

00:30:31.440 nato responds with approximately 180 nuclear warheads via aircraft immediate casualties 2.6 million over

00:30:39.820 three hours this is essentially the destruction of europe and all european nuclear bases what comes next

00:30:50.960 the counterforce plan with europe destroyed nato launches a strategic nuclear strike of 600 warheads

00:30:58.440 from u.s land and submarine based missiles aimed at russian nuclear forces before losing its weapon

00:31:04.100 systems russia launches on warning responding with missiles launched from silos road mobile vehicles

00:31:09.940 and submarines immediate casualties here 3.4 million in 45 minutes that's counterforce we're not even

00:31:18.600 done yet because what happens next what happens next what happens next is the big one so now each side is wincing

00:31:28.620 now each side has lost a vast majority of military resources nato the west the united states our bases are in

00:31:37.840 disarray and so we say what are we going to do we have to stop the rebuilding we have to stop the ability of

00:31:47.000 the other side to wage war we have to break their resolve how many times you hear that specific

00:31:51.360 phraseology by the way you're being primed to accept that phraseology we have to break their will break their

00:31:56.160 resolve how is this employed in world war ii strategic bombing campaigns we don't talk about

00:32:05.340 the strategic air bombing that was done in france yeah that's right allied forces bombed cities

00:32:13.000 and towns in france nobody ever talked about this same was done in london same was done in germany

00:32:22.160 obviously was done in japan but each side did this so we come next to the counter value plan

00:32:31.960 and under the counter value plan with the aim of inhibiting the other side's recovery from the

00:32:39.920 initial nuclear strikes russia and nato then each target the other's 30 most populated cities and

00:32:48.860 economic centers so for the u.s that's san francisco new york city washington dc la chicago

00:32:59.980 every major city every major economic center population center

00:33:05.880 phoenix and the entire united states houston

00:33:10.920 they would use five to ten warheads on each city depending on population size

00:33:18.600 immediate casualties of a counter value strike

00:33:23.060 85.3 million men women and children vaporized in 45 minutes

00:33:35.880 and keep in mind we're talking immediate casualties this doesn't even get into

00:33:40.920 you think east palestine was bad you think a train derailing was bad

00:33:46.640 imagine what a nuclear strike does to the waterways to the soil to the air

00:33:55.040 in total

00:33:59.080 91.5 million nearly 100 million people would be killed immediately vaporized

00:34:06.920 that includes fatalities and injuries resulting from the series of nuclear exchanges

00:34:13.960 deaths from nuclear fallout and other long-term effects would significantly increase this estimate

00:34:22.360 that's nuclear war that's what we're playing with we're playing with fire

00:34:30.200 and we're holding a gas canister to this and we're acting like

00:34:38.080 it's a blank check we're acting like the other side is not going to respond well here's the dirty

00:34:45.440 little secret folks in war the enemy gets a vote that is what they teach you

00:34:51.080 never forget that as mike tyson used to say everybody's got a plan until you get punched

00:34:58.140 in the face

00:34:59.400 when there's no more soldiers left to draft

00:35:05.340 that's when the nukes come out

00:35:07.860 imagine the rationing

00:35:10.520 remember how crazy the country got over toilet paper just a couple years ago

00:35:15.920 every system in this country will fail

00:35:19.200 everyone

00:35:20.220 you think the roads and bridges collapsing right now are bad you think south africa's energy grid is bad

00:35:25.600 imagine what would happen you can't even

00:35:28.340 you can't even try to i can't even try to imagine i want to imagine it

00:35:31.480 i want to imagine this world for my for my kids

00:35:34.180 the old movie the day after

00:35:37.640 i feel like people have totally forgotten

00:35:41.120 the fact that every single issue that you worry about and you hold near and dear to your hearts

00:35:49.020 is moot and it's taken off the table with the face of nuclear war

00:35:54.500 and that is the one issue above all issues that you must work to prevent

00:36:00.900 and so in the next segment we are going to go back to the lessons of the cold war

00:36:05.040 because apparently some people have forgotten this

00:36:06.900 what mutually assured destruction

00:36:09.280 actually means as i've covered in this segment

00:36:11.940 we're going to talk about what we can learn

00:36:14.520 from the cold war

00:36:15.780 and apply that to preventing

00:36:18.360 world war three

00:36:19.440 and we will never stop searching for a genuine peace

00:36:26.060 but we can assure

00:36:27.800 none of these things america stands for

00:36:30.240 through the so-called nuclear freeze solutions

00:36:32.520 proposed by some

00:36:34.240 the truth is that a freeze now would be a very dangerous fraud

00:36:38.480 for that is merely the illusion of peace

00:36:41.120 the reality is that we must find peace

00:36:43.940 through strength

00:36:45.060 i would

00:36:46.400 i would agree to a freeze

00:36:55.320 if only we could freeze the soviets global desires 0.99

00:36:58.460 a freeze at current levels of weapons would remove any incentive for the soviets to negotiate seriously in geneva and virtually end our chances to achieve the major arms reductions which we have proposed

00:37:16.460 instead they would achieve their objectives through the freeze

00:37:23.460 yes let us pray for the salvation of all of those who live in that totalitarian darkness

00:37:29.460 pray they will discover the joy

00:37:31.700 of knowing god

00:37:33.700 but until they do

00:37:34.700 let us be aware that while they preach the supremacy of the state

00:37:38.700 declare its omnipotence over individual man and predict its eventual domination of all peoples on the earth 0.96

00:37:45.980 they are the focus of evil in the modern world

00:37:49.660 it was c.s lewis who in his unforgettable screw tape letters wrote

00:37:55.420 the greatest evil is not done now

00:37:58.620 in those sordid dens of crime that dickens love to paint

00:38:02.620 it is

00:38:04.620 not even done in concentration camps and labor camps

00:38:08.620 in those we see its final result

00:38:11.620 but it is conceived and ordered

00:38:14.620 moved

00:38:15.620 seconded

00:38:16.620 carried and

00:38:17.620 minuted

00:38:18.620 in clear carpeted

00:38:20.620 warmed and well-lighted offices

00:38:22.620 by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails

00:38:25.620 and smooth-shaven cheeks

00:38:27.620 who do not need to raise their voice

00:38:30.620 well because these quiet men do not raise their voices

00:38:34.620 because they sometimes speak in soothing tones of brotherhood and peace

00:38:38.620 because like other dictators before them they're always making their final territorial demand

00:38:44.620 some would have us accept them at their word

00:38:47.620 and accommodate ourselves to their aggressive impulses

00:38:51.620 but if history teaches anything

00:38:53.620 it teaches that simple-minded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly

00:38:59.620 it means the betrayal of our past the squandering of our freedom

00:39:03.620 so I urge you to speak out against those who would place the United States in a position of military and moral inferiority

00:39:12.620 through weakness and incompetence

00:39:15.620 Joe Biden has brought us to the brink of world war 3

00:39:18.620 we're at the brink of world war 3

00:39:20.620 just in case anybody doesn't know it

00:39:22.620 as president I will bring back peace through strength

00:39:26.620 peace through strength

00:39:27.620 would have never happened

00:39:29.620 you could make a peace deal

00:39:30.620 you could make a deal

00:39:31.620 for both right now

00:39:33.620 24 hours

00:39:34.620 that deal could be done

00:39:35.620 that deal is waiting to be done

00:39:37.620 but there's nobody to do it

00:39:39.620 so where do we go from here

00:39:42.620 it's two paths folks

00:39:44.620 two doors open to us

00:39:47.620 do we want to go through the door

00:39:50.620 that leads to peace

00:39:52.620 that leads to prosperity

00:39:54.620 that leads to a normalization of relations

00:39:58.620 in our world

00:40:00.620 with other countries that maybe we don't like them

00:40:02.620 maybe we disagree with the way they go about business

00:40:05.620 maybe we don't understand their country

00:40:10.620 maybe we don't like the things they say

00:40:12.620 maybe we don't like how their governments are run

00:40:15.620 I don't always particularly like the way our government is run

00:40:17.620 but maybe just maybe

00:40:20.620 the answer is that we don't have to be the policemen of the world

00:40:25.620 that we don't have to go out and seek enemies abroad

00:40:31.620 seek monsters abroad

00:40:33.620 as our founding fathers warned us against

00:40:37.620 maybe just maybe

00:40:39.620 the money that's currently being siphoned off

00:40:43.620 from the US taxpayer

00:40:45.620 the US tax base

00:40:46.620 the funny money

00:40:47.620 that's been floating throughout our system

00:40:49.620 since 2008

00:40:50.620 the financialization of everything

00:40:52.620 that's being laundered

00:40:55.620 through Libya

00:40:57.620 through Syria

00:40:58.620 through Iraq and Afghanistan

00:41:00.620 and now through Ukraine

00:41:02.620 Ukraine

00:41:04.620 the destabilization

00:41:07.620 and enrichment of the elites

00:41:10.620 off the backs of the people 0.89

00:41:13.620 who suffer in the middle

00:41:16.620 can we end the cycle?

00:41:19.620 could we actually choose peace?

00:41:23.620 because you see this is different

00:41:26.620 Ukraine

00:41:29.620 in a very significant way

00:41:31.620 Ukraine

00:41:32.620 occupies a different type of

00:41:35.620 conflict

00:41:36.620 than any of the ones

00:41:37.620 the United States has embarked in

00:41:38.620 since 9-11

00:41:41.620 now

00:41:42.620 we are in a proxy war

00:41:43.620 with the nuclear power

00:41:45.620 and we've forgotten those rules

00:41:47.620 those rules of the road

00:41:49.620 those rules back from

00:41:52.620 go look at your Ronald Reagan

00:41:54.620 okay?

00:41:55.620 and I don't always

00:41:56.620 hold up Ronald Reagan strategies

00:41:58.620 as successful

00:41:59.620 Ronald Reagan

00:42:00.620 wasn't the best defender

00:42:01.620 of the second amendment

00:42:02.620 Ronald Reagan

00:42:03.620 supported amnesty

00:42:04.620 for illegal aliens

00:42:06.620 this is one of the reasons

00:42:07.620 that California

00:42:08.620 is so blue today

00:42:11.620 but he did understand

00:42:12.620 the threat of nuclear war

00:42:14.620 and obviously

00:42:15.620 was the greatest communicator

00:42:20.620 even he understood

00:42:22.620 even he understood

00:42:24.620 that the total destruction

00:42:26.620 of everything

00:42:27.620 meant

00:42:29.620 sitting down

00:42:30.620 with people

00:42:31.620 that you don't have to like

00:42:33.620 to prevent something worse

00:42:34.620 from happening

00:42:36.620 and he held those meetings

00:42:37.620 with the Soviets

00:42:38.620 when they were the Soviet Union

00:42:40.620 Nixon

00:42:41.620 went to the CCP

00:42:43.620 met with Chairman Mao

00:42:45.620 himself

00:42:46.620 because he understood this

00:42:47.620 even before Reagan

00:42:49.620 and the problem today though

00:42:50.620 is that we live in a society

00:42:51.620 a society without meaning

00:42:53.620 a society without substance

00:42:56.620 we're told not to build families

00:42:59.620 we're told to turn towards

00:43:00.620 secular modernism

00:43:02.620 say hey man

00:43:04.620 what's the next Marvel movie

00:43:05.620 what's the next Netflix series

00:43:06.620 what are you watching man

00:43:08.620 what are you streaming

00:43:09.620 what's up on Yellowstone

00:43:10.620 what's up on 1883

00:43:12.620 1923

00:43:14.620 1854 whatever

00:43:16.620 the next Hollywood whatever

00:43:18.620 is about to drop

00:43:19.620 is going to be about to drop

00:43:21.620 no one's ever going to live

00:43:22.620 to see the last Star Wars

00:43:23.620 unfortunately

00:43:26.620 but in addition

00:43:28.620 to a world where people

00:43:29.620 are seeking meaning

00:43:32.620 they're trying to find that

00:43:33.620 through conflict

00:43:35.620 they're trying to find that

00:43:36.620 through

00:43:38.620 cheering on conflict

00:43:39.620 that they're not even

00:43:40.620 directly involved in

00:43:41.620 but they want to feel like

00:43:42.620 they are

00:43:43.620 because deep down

00:43:44.620 they know

00:43:46.620 that their lives

00:43:47.620 are rootless

00:43:50.620 they're living

00:43:51.620 insectoid bug

00:43:52.620 men lives 0.90

00:43:55.620 going to and from work

00:43:57.620 to and from their cubicle

00:43:59.620 nowadays not even doing that

00:44:01.620 stuck inside

00:44:02.620 stuck in your home

00:44:03.620 stuck in your pod

00:44:05.620 having your food delivered to you

00:44:06.620 from Uber Eats

00:44:08.620 having your one night stand

00:44:09.620 delivered to you

00:44:11.620 from the app of your choice

00:44:12.620 on a piece of glass in your hand

00:44:13.620 you want a moment

00:44:17.620 you want substance

00:44:18.620 you want reality

00:44:19.620 and you're chasing it

00:44:21.620 you're chasing it as hard as you can

00:44:23.620 but here's the thing

00:44:25.620 for the people that are on the ground

00:44:27.620 for the families

00:44:29.620 that don't have somewhere else

00:44:31.620 to go back to

00:44:33.620 this isn't a movie for them

00:44:35.620 this isn't Hollywood

00:44:37.620 the people of Ukraine

00:44:39.620 deserve better

00:44:40.620 the people of the world

00:44:43.620 certainly

00:44:44.620 deserve better

00:44:45.620 the children

00:44:47.620 the children

00:44:50.620 whether you're in the US

00:44:52.620 or Russia

00:44:53.620 or China

00:44:55.620 are completely innocent

00:44:57.620 because they always are

00:44:59.620 they always are

00:45:01.620 in war

00:45:03.620 old men send young men to die 1.00

00:45:05.620 it's just how it is

00:45:06.620 it's how it's always been

00:45:07.620 old men's 0.95

00:45:10.620 disputes

00:45:11.620 are fought on the battlefield

00:45:12.620 with the lives of the young

00:45:14.620 and you look at the very part of the country

00:45:18.620 that's been targeted

00:45:19.620 when I talk about

00:45:21.620 the problems of globalization

00:45:23.620 the people of East Palestine

00:45:25.620 people are forgotten

00:45:27.620 that's the backbone of this country

00:45:29.620 that's the people

00:45:31.620 that make this country run

00:45:33.620 those are the people

00:45:34.620 that join the military

00:45:35.620 that go off to fight in those wars

00:45:37.620 go look at Senator J.D. Vance

00:45:39.620 perfect example

00:45:41.620 from not far from there

00:45:44.620 these are the people

00:45:46.620 that we owe it to

00:45:48.620 these are the kids we owe it to

00:45:50.620 these are the families we owe all of this to

00:45:52.620 and so if we're going to do the right thing

00:45:55.620 if we're actually going to be on the right side of history

00:45:59.620 we're going to say that we were the generation

00:46:01.620 that didn't decide to end it all

00:46:03.620 and look I wish I could say that we would heed the warnings of the Cold War

00:46:08.620 and learn from those who came before us

00:46:11.620 and we're not going to destroy civilization

00:46:13.620 but I'm not going to pull any punches here

00:46:15.620 hold your family close

00:46:17.620 enjoy the pure moments while they're still here

00:46:21.620 because the path that we're on is one of pure destruction

00:46:24.620 and unless a miracle happens

00:46:27.620 and I do believe in miracles

00:46:29.620 the end of life as we know it

00:46:33.620 is getting closer and closer every day

00:46:36.620 every moment that peace eludes us

00:46:40.620 and war consumes us

00:46:43.620 God bless you

00:46:45.620 God bless your families

00:46:46.620 ladies and gentlemen you have my permission

00:46:50.620 to lay ashore
