00:00:56.760Imagine the National Mall transformed into a high speed racetrack that could soon be a reality thanks to the Freedom 250 Grand Prix here on Third Street where it crosses the National Mall. This will be the start and finish line for the Indy Grand Prix. It'll run about 1.7 miles around the National Mall. The drivers will do about 100 laps. The joint force remains focused on three military objectives continue to destroy
00:01:26.740Iranian ballistic missiles and drone capability in order to prevent attacks on the U.S. and others
00:01:33.180throughout the region. And this means attacking launch sites, command and control nodes,
00:01:38.280stockpiles before they can threaten our personnel, our facilities and our partners.
00:01:43.140Iran vowing this morning that if the war continues, it will not allow a liter of oil
00:01:47.280through the Persian Gulf choke point of the Straits of Hormuz. In Tehran, regime affiliated
00:01:51.840fuel depots are still smoldering after an attack over the weekend. Fuel leaked into the sewer
00:01:56.720system and ignited. I had a very good call with President Putin. We had a lot of people on the
00:02:02.720line from our side, from his side. We were talking about Ukraine, which is just a never-ending0.91
00:02:08.180fight. And when, look, there's tremendous hatred between President Putin and President Zelenskyy.
00:02:16.400They can't seem to get it together. But I think it was a positive call on that subject. And we1.00
00:02:22.060obviously talked then about the Middle East. Today, the community is grieving the loss of
00:02:26.100Corporal Timothy O'Connor after he was shot and killed during a traffic stop last night.
00:02:32.380He leaves behind a wife and also a young daughter.
00:02:35.920State police say Corporal O'Connor pulled over 32-year-old Jesse Nathan Elks on Michael Road in West Cowan Township after receiving reports he was driving erratically.
00:02:47.900Within seconds, investigators say Elks shot and killed O'Connor as he walked up to his car window.
00:02:54.560State police say Elks got out of his car after shooting O'Connor and then shot himself in the street with a semi-automatic pistol.
00:03:02.360We are seeing that now live outside of Gracie Mansion here in New York City.
00:03:09.480Hey, Sandra, well, we are here in New York City's Upper East Side neighborhood.
00:03:13.340We're actually a couple blocks down from Gracie Mansion, which, yes, is the home of New York City Mayor Zora Mamdani.
00:03:19.040Right now, officers are investigating a suspicious device that was found in a popular park nearby called Carl Schurz.
00:03:27.580We've seen officers block off this area to traffic, and we've got members of the NYPD bomb squad and another command unit that are out here.
00:03:39.100Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
00:03:43.300We're here live on Real America's Voice.
00:03:47.000Today is March 10th, 2026, Anno Domini.
00:03:50.300We are now told just as we go live moments ago, the New York City Police Department,
00:03:56.480NYPD bomb squad has shut down 10 blocks near Gracie Mansion after what we're told is a
00:04:03.260suspicious package was found in a nearby park.
00:04:07.180Of course, this comes just one day after the arrest of two individuals or two days after
00:04:13.820the arrest of two individuals who were linked with ISIS that had thrown improvised explosive
00:04:20.400devices at Gracie, excuse me, Gracie Mansion. Gracie Mansion, the residence of the New York
00:04:26.580City mayor. And Gracie Mansion has now been evacuated. Nick Sorter saying that New York is
00:04:32.960in an absolute spiral. So that's the latest on that. If there's any more information, we'll be
00:04:38.660able to get that back to you. Of course, tensions are high because there may be a connection
00:04:44.920between this and the explosive improvised devices, these IEDs from the other day. So
00:04:52.120a potential suspicious package, the evacuation of the mansion shut down for 10 blocks.
00:05:01.660We don't have to live like this, you know, folks, we don't have to live like this. And
00:05:05.580there is a story that happened not too far from where I grew up, Honeybrook, Pennsylvania,
00:05:12.100Chester County, which, you know, just two counties over from where the ISIS cell apparently
00:05:17.300was operating in Langhorne and Newtown. We're going to talk about that in a little bit.
00:05:22.040And Human Events has new information regarding the death of the state trooper,
00:05:29.900timothy o'connor who was killed while conducting a traffic stop 40 years old 15 year
00:05:38.120veteran of the force the state police in pennsylvania and we're told is actually a
00:05:44.280volunteer at pennsylvania's camp cadet and i would certainly salute him for that as a camp cadet
00:05:52.060alum myself that was a summer camp that the state police ran that i actually went to when i was a
00:05:58.580kid up in Pennsylvania. So I don't think I would have crossed paths with this particular
00:06:04.240state trooper, but it was an incredible state police run law enforcement, very pro law enforcement
00:06:10.100camp that was held. And we had a great time going there. I think it was probably like
00:06:16.44011 or 12 when I went. And the information that we have, and this comes to us and is
00:06:23.220confirmed to us via a source in the Pennsylvania law enforcement community, which confirms the
00:06:29.280social media postings of Jesse Elks, the suspect who later committed suicide after shooting the
00:06:37.280state trooper. Not only, and we're going to get into this more, not only was this individual a
00:06:43.740full-throated supporter of Antifa, a supporter of far left causes. In this situation, we're also
00:06:51.680hearing that there may be a connection possible connection through the family to another former
00:06:59.920state trooper more on that as we continue human events daily
00:07:07.120stand in our way and our golden age has just begun this is human events with jack
00:07:11.920now it's time for everyone to understand what america first truly means welcome to the second
00:19:14.340Trump will not allow rogue Iranian terrorists to stop the freedom of navigation and the free flow
00:19:20.000of energy. Let me be clear. It is a good thing to wipe out terrorists who indiscriminately target
00:19:26.680civilians and attempt to hold the global economy hostage. And President Trump should be commended
00:19:33.540for doing so. As the president made unequivocally clear to the remaining elements of this terrorist
00:19:39.040regime in his statement yesterday. If they do anything to stop the flow of oil or goods within
00:19:44.660the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the world's most powerful military 20 times harder
00:19:50.660than they have been hit thus far. Moving forward, the stated objectives for Operation Epic Fury
00:19:56.620remain the same. Destroy the terrorist regime's ballistic missiles, raise their Iranian missile0.98
00:20:01.960industry to the ground, ensure their terrorist proxies can no longer destabilize the region,0.95
00:20:07.040and ensure that Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon.
00:20:11.160President Trump remains confident these goals will be accomplished in swift fashion.0.88
00:20:15.940As for the oil, President Trump fully expected the rogue Iranian regime to try and disrupt the global markets.0.98
00:20:22.680That's why President Trump and his energy team have been planning for this long before the strike0.97
00:20:27.280and have moved quickly to address these temporary disruptions.
00:20:30.880Thus far, the Trump administration has offered political risk insurance to tankers operating in
00:20:36.740the Gulf. The Treasury temporarily waived certain oil-related sanctions, and the Commander-in-Chief
00:20:42.460has offered the U.S. Navy to escort tankers when necessary. The President and his energy team are
00:20:48.480closely watching the markets, speaking with industry leaders, and the U.S. military is
00:20:53.200jarring up additional options following the President's directive to continue keeping the
00:20:58.120of Hormuz open. I will not broadcast what those options look like, but just know the
00:21:03.420President is not afraid to use them. Rest assured to the American people, the recent
00:21:08.760increase in oil and gas prices is temporary, and this operation will result in lower gas
00:21:14.180prices in the long term. Once the national security objectives of Operation Epic Fury
00:21:20.040are fully achieved, Americans will see oil and gas prices drop rapidly, potentially even
00:21:25.920lower than they were prior to the start of the operation. And we will live in a world
00:21:31.240where Iran can no longer threaten the United States or our allies with a nuclear bomb.0.80
00:21:36.880On another matter here at home, President Trump is urging Congress to pass the Save
00:21:41.500America Act, one of the most critical pieces of legislation in our nation's history. The
00:21:47.600Save America Act is overwhelmingly popular with all Americans because each provision
00:21:52.540is rooted in common sense. The Save America Act has five simple requirements as requested
00:21:58.900by the president of the United States. Number one, voters have to show ID to cast a ballot
00:22:04.460in an American election. Very simple. 90% of Americans, including more than 80% of Democrat
00:22:11.440voters agree with this. Number two, the Save America Act will require all voters to show
00:22:17.620proof of citizenship in order to register to vote in American elections.
00:22:22.560Again, this is popular and rooted in common sense.
00:22:26.800Only American citizens have the right to vote in American elections.0.72
00:22:30.520But after Joe Biden and the Democrats allowed tens of millions of illegal aliens into our
00:22:34.920country, it's more important than ever to ensure that only American citizens are registering
00:22:40.360to vote in our on our nation's voter rolls, and Congress needs to pass this.
00:22:45.120Number three, the Save America Act abolishes the incredibly unsecure practice of universal
00:22:50.660mail-in ballots, which throw the door wide open for fraud.
00:22:54.080Importantly, the Save America Act maintains exceptions for Americans to use mail-in ballots
00:22:58.960like for illness, disability, military, or travel reasons.
00:23:03.780The bipartisan 2005 report of the Commission on Federal Election Reform, chaired by, of
00:23:09.960all people, former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker concluded
00:23:15.580that, quote, absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud. And it is time
00:23:21.700for Congress to finally address this. Number four, the Save America Act permanently bans men from0.99
00:23:28.000competing in women's sports. President Trump signed a landmark executive order upholding the
00:23:33.220promise of Title IX and ending this dangerous and unfair practice. But now it's time for
00:23:38.460Congress to codify this into law. Number five, the Save America Act bans transgender mutilation
00:23:45.260surgery for children. Again, President Trump signed a common sense executive order to do this
00:23:50.580and kept his promise to the American people, but now Congress needs to do the same and codify it.
00:23:56.220It's well past time for Democrats in Congress to stop perpetuating the radical and false claim
00:24:01.900that you can somehow change a child's sex. You cannot. Passing the Save America Act is the most
00:24:08.360important thing that Republicans and frankly Democrats can do to strengthen election integrity
00:24:13.620and protect our democracy. It's what the American people elected Republicans to do and they must
00:24:19.420deliver on it as soon as possible. The president is calling on Congress to get the job done
00:24:24.440and send this historic piece of legislation to his desk immediately for signature. So with that
00:24:30.540today I will take your questions. Benny thank you for being here and why don't you start us off.
00:24:34.120Thank you Caroline. So my first question is actually about the Save America Act. So
00:24:37.720One of the biggest things that the Democrats are saying, the claims that they're making, is that the Save America Act, it would prevent married women from voting in elections or make it harder for them.
00:24:52.820What do you have to say to those claims?
00:28:37.760I haven't had a chance to talk to the Energy Secretary about it directly.
00:28:41.280However, I know the post was taken down pretty quickly,
00:28:43.820And I can confirm that the U.S. Navy has not escorted a tanker or a vessel at this time,
00:28:49.080though, of course, that's an option the President has said he will absolutely utilize if and when necessary at the appropriate time.
00:28:55.980And if this was something that was posted erroneously, could it be because of a staffer?
00:29:00.580What, you know, what, I guess, will there be any consequences for this?
00:29:04.420I know you still have to consult, but generally speaking, I would defer you to the Department of Energy to answer that question.
00:29:09.440And if I could just follow up really quickly, in terms of oil sanctions, the President said that there would be some sanctions.
00:29:16.800What that would be lifted? Would those be on Venezuela, Russia?
00:29:20.020Could you give some specifics there and then timing for that as well?
00:29:22.480Sure. I know it's something that the Treasury Department and the President's energy team continue to discuss,
00:29:28.000and they will ultimately consult with the President before decisions are made.
00:29:30.780I don't have any announcements on new sanctions or the lifting of new sanctions for you today. Alex.
00:29:36.600Thank you. Reuters has reported that about 150 U.S. service members have been injured so far.
00:29:43.320Can you confirm that number and elaborate on that?
00:29:46.060I can't confirm the exact number. I know it's within that ballpark, but I would defer you to the Pentagon for a specific number of wounded or injured thus far.
00:29:55.860And then secondly, if I can, I wanted to ask about, there was a briefing on Capitol Hill today and some senators came out and said they were more convinced than ever that there were the U.S. boots on the ground. Senator Blumenthal said that, in fact. Your reaction to that and any update on President Trump's thinking about it?
00:30:19.200Look, I would say that Democrats on Capitol Hill are clearly being quite disingenuous.
00:30:25.400Three years ago, not a single Democrat voted for the against the resolution condemning Iran as the world's leading state sponsor of terror.
00:30:34.880Yet now, with President Trump as commander in chief finally taking the action that so many Democrats have called on the commander in chief to do for many, many years to wipe out the threat of a rogue Iranian terrorist regime.
00:30:46.500Now, all of a sudden, Democrats are playing politics with this longstanding bipartisan policy of the United States.
00:30:53.220And they, 53 of them in the House, recently voted against the resolution condemning Iran as the world's state sponsor of terror.
00:31:00.540So I wouldn't take Democrats at their word.
00:31:02.820As for boots on the ground, the president has talked about this repeatedly, wisely.
00:31:08.020He does not rule options out as commander in chief.
00:31:10.320So, again, I would hesitate to confirm anything that a Democrat on Capitol Hill says right now about the president's thinking.
00:31:16.500John, you outlined to Steve the military components of what would be involved in ending this war,
00:31:23.280but it seems like there's a political component, too.
00:31:25.740The president said to Fox earlier today that he doesn't believe the new Ayatollah can live in peace.
00:31:30.960He made a variety of comments suggesting that he should be involved in picking the new Iranian leader.
00:31:36.420Is the ending of this war also contingent on Iran selecting a leader that the president finds acceptable?
00:31:42.860And if so, how is that not going to happen?
00:31:46.500Not the definition of a regime change war.
00:31:49.260Look, as President Trump has blatantly and frankly stated, it's obviously within the
00:31:54.700best interest of the United States and the West to no longer have a radical terrorist
00:32:01.180in charge of Iran, especially as we see their reaction to Operation Epic Fury.
00:32:07.180They had their missiles turn towards our Gulf and Arab partners in the region.0.55
00:32:10.820Again, this was a regime that chanted or still chants death to America.
00:32:15.160We look at the way that they are holding the entire world hostage, with the restricting
00:32:19.780of the free flow of energy through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:32:22.880So the President, I think, is making quite an obvious comment.
00:32:25.840Again, as for the timeline of the military operations with respect to Iran, we have objectives
00:32:30.880that we have laid out that the Commander-in-Chief wants to see achieved.
00:32:34.160When they are achieved, then it will ultimately be up to the President to end this operation.
00:33:44.260The president said yesterday for the first time that he had to strike Iran because he believes that Iran was going to strike U.S. targets within seven days.
00:33:52.500And then he then bumped that down later to three days.
00:33:57.600Well, that's not the first time the president has said that he chose to launch Operation Epic Fury
00:34:01.840because he felt as though Iran was going to strike the United States and our assets in the region first.
00:34:07.180again, I addressed this in the last briefing. This was a feeling the president had based on
00:34:12.120facts, facts provided to him by his top negotiators who had been engaged with the
00:34:16.420Iranian regime in a good faith effort. The Iranian regime was lying, deceiving the United States of0.53
00:34:22.440America, clearly trying to continue their nuclear program to create a bomb that would, of course,0.97
00:34:29.060threaten the United States of America. Again, their ballistic missile arsenal, they were rapidly
00:34:33.360and aggressively increasing that by the month to a place where they would essentially build
00:34:38.520immunity for themselves, where a future president or President Trump would not be able to launch
00:34:43.500this incredibly successful operation. And so the president, again, as I have reiterated and he has
00:34:48.280said, was not going to sit back and allow the Iranian regime to threaten or to attack the United0.90
00:34:54.940States of America any longer. But there are no U.S. leaders or Israeli leaders who are making those
00:34:59.920same claims so is he making this up to justify his decision to go to war now the president is
00:35:05.920not making anything up nancy he is looking at this every single day based on intelligence based
00:35:11.280on facts and based on intelligence that he himself and his negotiators have uh have consumed based on
00:35:18.160their again negotiations with the rogue iranian regime over the past year and the president and
00:35:23.280his team tried in a good faith way to to reach a diplomatic deal through peaceful means with the0.76
00:35:28.960Iranian regime and Iran shows this path to death and destruction Iran wanted to attack the United0.91
00:35:35.760States of America and the president was not going to sit back and allow that to happen1.00
00:35:40.240he was not going to sit back and allow that to happen and everyone in this room should be grateful
00:35:43.920for it John thanks a lot Caroline two questions for you one has to do with a follow-up to your
00:35:49.760statement that you made at the beginning of the briefing regarding the Save America Act
00:35:53.120Yesterday, the Senate Majority Leader, John Thune, spoke on the effort to potentially have a filibuster broken, the rules for the filibuster broken.
00:36:04.120He said the votes aren't there, one, to nuke the filibuster and the votes aren't there for a talking filibuster.
00:46:14.780Millions of Americans are filing taxes for the first time since the president signed the one big, beautiful bill act into law.
00:46:19.780New reports say that new IRS data says that the average federal tax refund is around $3,800, a little bit ups from the last period of last year.
00:46:28.160Does the president believe that the average federal tax refund increasing this year could provide a little bit more economic growth, something that he's been very focused on as the year progresses?
00:46:38.420Absolutely. And Americans are going to start benefiting from the fruits of President Trump and Republicans' labor through the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill and these historic tax cuts.
00:46:48.060We are midway through tax season, so just to provide an update from the Treasury Department that just went out moments ago, nearly 63.5 million tax returns have been processed thus far, 45% of the anticipated total number of tax returns by April 15th, so don't forget to file your taxes, people.
00:47:06.660And the average refund this year is more than $3,700.
00:47:12.060And we know that more than 27.5 million individuals who have filed their tax returns thus far
00:47:18.880have claimed at least one of President Trump's new tax cuts.
00:47:22.920Over 3.5 million returns have claimed no tax on tips.
00:47:26.800Over 15.5 million returns have claimed no tax on overtime.
00:47:31.380Over 9.2 million returns have claimed the enhanced deduction for seniors.
00:47:35.480and over 690,000 returns have claimed no tax on car loan interest.
00:47:42.320And another amazing statistic, nearly 3.5 million Trump accounts have been opened for children in our country thus far.
00:47:50.720So we look forward to, I know the Treasury Department continues to look forward to seeing these checks go out the door
00:47:56.520and into the pockets of hardworking Americans, and the President will be meeting with them himself tomorrow on the road in both Ohio and Kentucky.
00:48:04.160and we look forward to seeing you all there.
00:48:29.980That's why we had to take it there, of course, live.
00:48:32.280We're going to go back to Pennsylvania tomorrow, and later in the week, we're going to talk more about the violence that's been exploding there because Human Events is reporting absolutely has to get to this.
00:48:46.240And so I wanted to bring up another story, and we're going into some of the real estate fraud that's been going on in the United States, and one of the biggest ones, a huge case out of Burbank right now.
00:48:59.320we've got a clip that I want to play for everyone. You can imagine just how shocking this was for
00:49:04.940that homeowner to learn that he no longer had the title of this property here in Burbank.
00:49:09.780He also told police he never authorized the sale of this home located behind us here on Walnut
00:49:15.320Avenue. Yet according to federal investigators, paperwork was filed, a loan was funded,
00:49:20.660and ownership was transferred, all without his knowledge or consent. Three people are now in
00:49:26.800federal custody tied to this case. A fourth person is still on the run. Federal investigators say
00:49:32.700the scheme involving this Burbank home unfolded in late 2023 and early 2024. According to the FBI,
00:49:39.060the defendants allegedly used stolen identities of the real homeowner and a so-called buyer
00:49:44.860to fraudulently sell this $1.5 million Burbank property and secure a $975,000 loan. The
00:49:53.280complaint alleges they created fake IDs, forged signatures, falsified bank statements, and even
00:49:59.360used a fraudulent notary stamp to complete the deal. Prosecutors say once the loan was funded,
00:50:04.640escrow money was wired to a third party instead of the rightful homeowner.
00:50:09.800All right, Rebecca, and we're on with Natalie Dominguez. Natalie, I mean, these are the types1.00
00:50:14.600of things that you've been coming on here to the program for months warning about the fact this is
00:50:21.220happening in Burbank not you know Hollywood Beverly Hills area this shows that it can really
00:50:27.260happen anywhere in the country and you're the title theft education expert with home title lock
00:50:33.640I want people to understand how serious this is and the fact that anyone can be a victim
00:50:38.700absolutely Jack and this one actually hits really hits home very close to me Burbank is kind of
00:50:46.760right next door to where I am so when I saw the headlines I was like oh cool like
00:50:51.220right down the street. My father, when I was younger, his first office was in Burbank and it
00:50:56.180was a $1.5 million house. I think one of the big takeaways here is that these kinds of crimes are
00:51:02.560kind of consistently evolving, right? You guys hear me talk about it all the time. You heard
00:51:07.380about it in the story that was just presented where they're using fake notary stamps, they're
00:51:11.440filling out fake documents and filing them with the county and they're actually getting money out
00:51:16.560of the bank and they're just running away with it. There's one person still in the loose, but
00:51:20.720this time, this is an interesting new turn in this story that they didn't just pretend to be
00:51:26.480the homeowner. They also pretended to be the buyer, which was a really interesting thing that
00:51:31.280I haven't really seen yet, but I'm sure it's happening. But it's really scary. In my opinion,
00:51:38.060the thing is, this was a licensed real estate broker, and we're seeing this consistently more
00:51:41.820and more and more. It's that these people that you're supposed to trust that are doing these
00:51:45.020jobs that have the insider information are using it to their gain and just going after homeowners
00:51:51.120in vulnerable homes. So when we look at this, I mean, this is really something that's, you know,
00:51:58.240it's everyone's worst nightmare, especially if you have older parents, if you have people in your life
00:52:03.020that are, you know, in these homes. And so many times that people look at the house itself and
00:52:10.840they say, you know what, that becomes the target that becomes the motive and incentive for all of
00:52:17.960this. And hey, if you're not there again, checking your title with home title lock or, you know,
00:52:23.320checking mail, things like this, you may not know for quite some time that something has even gone
00:52:28.620wrong. Absolutely. I mean, you can see here. So they they did all this back in 2003 and 2004,
00:52:36.560and it's just now kind of making headlines and coming out and being investigated. This is a
00:52:42.560very, very recent story and this happens all the time. We constantly in the news and in headlines
00:52:48.300are seeing these stories of the crime was perpetrated two, three years ago and the homeowners
00:52:53.360aren't finding out about it until foreclosure notices are showing up or someone shows up
00:52:57.960because the home was sold to them and suddenly they're trying to build some property on some
00:53:02.960vacant land. And it's a very scary thing because of how silent it is. And even the FBI constantly
00:53:08.760is urging for people to monitor their properties. And not everyone has the capacity to walk on down
00:53:14.100to the recorder's office every day and say, hey, can I see all the paperwork on my property?
00:53:18.620That's just not how it works. So it's a very easy crime to commit. And look at these perpetrators.
00:53:26.680They got away with almost a million dollars in loans. That's why people are doing it. It's easy
00:53:30.780money. So Natalie, and let's, let's talk about this case. You know, we always do it this way
00:53:36.060if, you know, it's the hypothetical, but if home title lock had been involved or did have a case
00:53:41.180that was similar to this, if you had any, what would the remedy be? How would the, how would
00:53:45.940the company react? Oh, the company would react immediately. So, uh, you know, home title locks,
00:53:52.780triple lock, million dollar triple lock protection. We monitor the property 24 seven,
00:53:56.440we sent urgent alerts, and then we have a team of legal experts that are prepared to jump in.
00:54:00.480If the hypothetical, you know, we were monitoring the property that the fraud took place on, the moment anything was filed, we would jump in and immediately start unwinding it. So the sale wouldn't have gone through, the mortgage wouldn't have gone through, or sorry, excuse me, the loan, yeah, the loan wouldn't have gone through, and we would have just jumped in and started unwinding it.
00:54:19.200What's sad about this particular case is that right now it's being investigated. There's someone still on the run. I think a few people have been arrested. But unfortunately, the victims, the homeowner, the buyer who was frauded under their name, they're all still having to unwind this civilly.
00:54:37.220So even though people have been arrested, we talk about this all the time because this is a civil paperwork issue.
00:54:43.060The victims are still required to go through their entire legal process.
