00:02:52.600 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
00:02:57.120 We are here live in Washington, D.C.
00:03:00.220 Today is September 29th, 2025. Anno Domini. First show I've done in this studio since hosting the
00:03:09.820 Charlie Kirk Memorial on September 11th, though we will be back in Phoenix for the rest of the week.
00:03:19.480 Folks, go take a look at what happened this weekend. And after we got off the show on Friday
00:03:24.240 evening, we got the word after we had interviewed the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security,
00:03:30.720 where we had been saying over and over that what we need here is an activation of the Joint
00:03:35.520 Terrorism Task Forces. Well, kudos to Attorney General Pam Bondi, because that's exactly what
00:03:42.180 she did. The full activation of the Joint Terrorism Task Forces, and this is across the country. So
00:03:48.040 there's 200 of these, many in the major cities that's typically where they operate out of. So
00:03:54.020 New York, LA, Chicago, Philly, Washington, DC has a special situation, Phoenix, Dallas, you take
00:04:00.700 your pick. So the Joint Terrorism Task Forces, these are the fusion and ops centers for intelligence
00:04:06.620 sharing and for information that can go between the various domestic terrorist groups, some of which,
00:04:12.520 by the way, Seattle, Portland, you will see flow of the fighters from various locales. They'll go
00:04:18.940 from one AOR to another. So when they're moving between AORs, that's when the different Joint
00:04:24.280 Terrorism Task Forces can pick them up or drop them off. And we've got to keep the pressure on.
00:04:30.280 We saw incredible videos that came out over the weekend. This was great. It's still reactive,
00:04:34.780 though. It's still in a reactive mode. So they're standing there, they're doing the protection,
00:04:40.140 they did fantastic work. And my hat is off. Hat is absolutely off to the professional way
00:04:44.420 that the ICE agents, the Border Patrol that came in to support every other augment performed
00:04:50.220 throughout this weekend. It was incredible. Also, we were able to break the news yesterday,
00:04:54.760 even though it's a Sunday, we don't take days off around here. Human Events was able to break the
00:05:00.300 news that the ICE officer who was involved in an incident that involved the spouse, it seems,
00:05:07.840 of an illegal alien. It had been reported that he was placed under investigation, relieved of duty,
00:05:13.160 that he has actually been restored to full active duty, fit for full duty, FFD. Because of additional
00:05:22.360 evidence that was found over the weekend, a full review of the situation took place. And it turned
00:05:28.140 out that that ICE agent did not do anything wrong. So we're happy to report for you guys when something
00:05:37.260 good does happen. And here's the end of the day. The people that are waging domestic insurrection
00:05:44.860 against the United States of America, that have declared war on this country, and all that we stand
00:05:51.640 for, that we're trying to bomb. They actually uncovered a bomb at the Chicago ICE facility over the weekend.
00:05:59.500 And more to the point, Charlie Kirk is not with us because of anti-fascist violence. Ladies and gentlemen,
00:06:09.740 it will not stop until it is stopped. The networks are there. The networks are in place. The funding is
00:06:17.320 in place. All of this needs to be investigated. It needs to be pressurized, and it needs to be wiped
00:06:25.100 clean. It's really as simple as that. It needs to be wiped clean so the rest of us can go about our lives.
00:06:31.600 So the rest of us can engage in civil American discourse. The troublemakers and the JTTFs know exactly who they
00:06:39.360 are. They need to be rounded up. The financiers need to be shut down. Anyone involved in inciting or conspiracy
00:06:47.200 to incite one of these riots, and that's what they are. They are planned riots. They need to be taken down.
00:06:52.720 It's really as simple as that. Now we saw another act, horrific act of violence against the LDS church
00:07:01.120 yesterday. Some other acts of violence over the weekend. We're going to get into all of that as we
00:07:05.720 continue. Prime Minister Netanyahu expected to make an appearance at the White House soon. When that
00:07:11.400 happens, we will cut to it, bring you all the news. Human Events Daily, right back with America's Voice.
00:07:22.720 Stand in our way, and our golden age has just begun. This is Human Events with Jack Posobo. Now it's time

00:09:08.740 yesterday on this act of violence in Michigan, an attack on an LDS church, a Mormon church.
00:09:17.580 The president potentially meeting here with Bibi Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel. We want to cut
00:09:24.480 to that, and we'll go to it. We're not exactly sure when it's going to come out, but we'll let
00:09:28.640 you know. But for the time being, we've got on Tyler Boyer. He's the COO of Turning Point Action.
00:09:34.300 Tyler, how's it going, man? Jack, it's going to be with you again. We've seen a lot of you lately.
00:09:40.500 A little bit, yeah. You can't get rid of me. You know, so we're obviously, you know, for once,
00:09:47.460 we're talking about something completely other than that we've been dealing with the last couple of
00:09:51.300 days, but unfortunately, it's yet another act of violence. Caroline Levitt came out and said
00:09:56.900 that this was an act of violence directed at the Mormon church, directed at Mormons. Do you have
00:10:04.460 any other information regarding this or potential motive here? Yeah, so there's been a lot of
00:10:11.720 speculation kind of revolved around the shooter here on specifically on how their, what their intent was.
00:10:20.460 Obviously, I don't think you drive a car into an LDS church and unload and start throwing out,
00:10:29.420 you know, IEDs if you don't have some kind of hatred for Mormons. So I think it's safe to say
00:10:39.200 that that exists, but, you know, what exactly was the motive? Was there people that he had interacted
00:10:47.340 with? His politics? I know there's been some speculation. Remember, in Michigan, you don't have
00:10:54.980 partisan voter registration, so it's a little bit more difficult to determine who a person is based
00:11:01.380 off of their registration. There have been some suggestions based off of some kind of loosely
00:11:06.500 posted pictures that, you know, he had some kind of axe to grind against Republicans or Trump.
00:11:14.520 We just don't really know that quite yet. I think it's far more likely that religion
00:11:19.560 played a factor in this, given the, you know, that that was the target here.
00:11:26.420 Yeah, and I'm actually seeing, so the Detroit Free Press has an article up saying that this,
00:11:33.500 that a Burton City Council candidate, um, said that he spoke to the man, I guess he had knocked
00:11:42.180 on his door about a week prior. So they were, they were out canvassing and somebody knocked on his
00:11:47.620 door potentially to, you know, either get him, uh, get a ballot for him or for one of the ongoing
00:11:53.060 elections. And that he actually went on this, this suspect here, went on a tirade against the LDS
00:12:01.340 church, described Mormons as quote, the Antichrist. The man was outgoing, polite, and extremely friendly.
00:12:07.180 And it was his animosity towards the church didn't seem violent, but it was very much the standard
00:12:11.840 anti-LDS talking points that you'd find, uh, basically that you'd find online. He said,
00:12:16.460 this wasn't something that I would forget. And again, uh, didn't, didn't say anything specific,
00:12:22.580 but that's the latest. As of an hour ago, they found someone apparently who Tyler, as you just
00:12:27.380 said, you know, they don't have the registration or at least the partisan registration, but we are
00:12:31.600 in election time. And, uh, certainly, you know, something about canvassing and this is something
00:12:35.680 that was, I mean, those are the types of things, by the way, in canvassing that you would probably
00:12:39.860 want to mark down in a special notes section. Right. And it's really important to point out. So
00:12:45.700 you know, the LDS church is not huge in Michigan. Um, you know, there's probably
00:12:50.560 a lot more, uh, threats against other religions within the state of Michigan. Um, you know,
00:12:58.760 the members of the LDS church, uh, only make up about 1% of Michiganders. So it's not like this is a,
00:13:05.500 a, a huge quote unquote, you know, you know, problem that, that exists is just all this animosity.
00:13:13.180 Seems like that this guy, based off that interaction that he had had with the city council
00:13:18.760 candidate, just had some kind of weird obsession, uh, that, that with that. And that's why,
00:13:24.860 I mean, he even came up in that conversation potentially with that city council candidate,
00:13:29.280 maybe that, that gentleman believing that it was a bigger issue than was there. But,
00:13:34.720 you know, it's, this kind of spurred a lot of different conversations because obviously we know,
00:13:39.800 uh, Charlie was assassinated in Utah. Uh, there's been some kind of anti-Mormon rhetoric that's come
00:13:45.500 out in the weeks from that, um, that, that were around that, even though the individual that was
00:13:50.700 responsible was not, uh, seemingly religious at all. I will get to know that shooter a little bit more
00:13:57.140 deeply, but, you know, obviously Utah being, uh, the, the, the home of the, the LDS church.
00:14:03.740 And then you also had this week, uh, yeah, the president of the LDS church passed away,
00:14:08.500 which is kind of a big deal within LDS culture. So you have this really odd convergence of things
00:14:14.360 happening where there's just a lot of, you know, forefront and in the mind of the Mormon faith
00:14:21.860 tomorrow, we actually are, are hosting an event, a turning point, uh, on campus at Utah state
00:14:29.040 university, which was where Charlie was supposed to have his second Utah stop, uh, and his original
00:14:35.240 tour. So that's happening tomorrow where we'll be interviewing a number of individuals who were,
00:14:40.580 who were present and involved around the assassination, meaning, you know, the individuals who were,
00:14:46.340 uh, you know, part and parcel to the news, including the governor and,
00:14:50.940 and, uh, Jason Chaffetz, who he was there with his family at the time at Utah Valley university.
00:14:56.520 So it should be, it should be really interesting, uh, an interesting conversation, especially given
00:15:01.880 the news of Michigan. And then also, uh, the, the bigger news of, of the LDS, uh, president passing
00:15:09.540 away this last week. And I think there's, if, if anything, because I know a lot of people are trying
00:15:16.840 to draw up some kind of line between these horrific acts of violence that we've all seen,
00:15:22.700 I've called it bloody September. Um, you know, it started with an attack on a Catholic church,
00:15:29.660 then a series of other attempts, then obviously Charlie's assassination, now an attack on a Mormon
00:15:38.860 church, the LDS church, which they, you know, because it's so badly burned, we don't even know
00:15:43.760 exactly how many fatalities there were if others, you know, Tyler, I think there's, it's, it's
00:15:49.860 something to be said that obviously, you know, Antifa is one is, is one thing. And that, that
00:15:54.880 obviously exists separate to the, the broader issue of violence. There's lots of people who
00:16:00.840 unfortunately commit violence, but I do think that there's something out there, something of
00:16:04.840 a copycat effect out there that when people see this on the news, that if you are, and, and
00:16:09.880 studies have borne this out, that if you are someone who's sort of on that, on that line,
00:16:14.100 if you're someone who's got a TBI or, or any other potential PTSD that, uh, you know, that
00:16:21.060 is, that is left untreated or it's not treated well, that seeing these things in the news does
00:16:26.440 tend to kind of push them over. And I think if anyone's looking for a bigger connection, I
00:16:30.140 kind of feel like that might be it. Yeah. I, I think it's, uh, it's, you're, you're bringing
00:16:36.000 up an interesting point that we're in kind of a dark period here. Um, you know, you, you
00:16:41.200 refer to this month as, as bloody September. It looks like we're entering an era, unfortunately,
00:16:47.220 that violence is becoming thematic, uh, across the country. And, and, and we know that this
00:16:54.380 is what happens is that violence begets violence is that people that see this, that are interested
00:17:00.720 in attention, uh, in the sickest way possible, uh, you know, act on some of these thoughts that
00:17:07.380 they've had in their head and in particular in communities where they think it's okay.
00:17:12.120 And this is why it's so important for our civilization to be able to embrace, you know,
00:17:17.920 the, the, the godliness that we, we need to embrace, which is, you know, been one of the
00:17:22.780 positives that's come out of Charlie's passing, Charlie's assassination rather, is that we've had
00:17:28.860 many people turn their hearts towards God and be, want to be better, better people. But
00:17:32.340 unfortunately where that light is cast, sometimes there's darkness that comes in with, with really
00:17:37.660 evil people trying to thwart it. And so, uh, regardless of what the motive is here with this
00:17:43.980 in Michigan, uh, it's without a doubt, uh, pure evil that is driving some of these forces. And we're
00:17:51.900 going to probably see more of it as the battle wages on between good and evil in America.
00:17:56.600 No, no, I, I think that's right. I mean, the very first thing that I tweeted out was that
00:18:01.380 this is demonic and, you know, as, as Christians look guys, you know, I, I'm more than happy
00:18:08.020 to, to have the, you know, the various debates and, and gosh, we, we've had them on the show
00:18:13.760 so many times. It's like, we've got a Catholics, we've got Mormons, we've got evangelicals, but
00:18:18.620 at the end of the, we've had them with Charlie so many times, but at the end of the day, when
00:18:22.680 we're all under attack, we're all under attack. And that's what it comes down to. The, this
00:18:28.240 is demonic influence. There's no question about that. Uh, demons are writhing in pain
00:18:33.160 when people gather together to worship Christ Jesus. That's the end of it. And it almost
00:18:39.000 feels like when the switch is flipped, uh, that you're going to see, unfortunately, more
00:18:44.740 and more of this. And actually Tyler, when we come back, um, we didn't get to it in this
00:18:49.740 situation. I want to talk about the fact that there's a good, a silver lining here is that
00:18:53.440 we had a good guy with a gun. And at the end of the day, that's what it's going to come
00:18:57.420 down to. We all need to be getting smarter. We all need to be training more. We all need
00:19:01.540 to be understanding that there's a real and serious threat. So it's time to take it seriously.
00:19:07.700 We'll be right back. Jack Posobiec, Real America's Voice, Human Events Daily.
00:19:14.700 So they talk about influences. These are influences and, uh, they're friends of mine. Jack Posobiec.
00:19:27.700 Where's Jack? Jack, he's done a great job. Jack Posobiec. We're back live, Human Events Daily.
00:19:36.540 We're talking to Tyler Boyer about this shooting and bombing of an LDS church up in Michigan.
00:19:42.160 But Tyler, I know the president's going to be speaking very soon here, but I got to ask you,
00:19:45.820 man, it was a good guy with a gun who stopped us. And that needs to be said over and over.
00:19:50.120 Yeah. One of the church leaders that was at the, on the dais was a person who happened to be carrying
00:19:58.260 a gun actually in the face of church policy, believe it or not. It's come out that church
00:20:04.100 policy a few years ago was encouraging people to not carry at church, which is, I think, a total and
00:20:11.540 huge mistake. Uh, thank goodness for this, this man who was able to exchange fire. It sounds like
00:20:18.380 based off of reports with the shooter was able to save probably dozens of lives. Uh, maybe,
00:20:25.060 maybe even more than that by keeping the individual busy, uh, until police got there.
00:20:31.300 And I, uh, our understanding is that the police put them down. There's a little bit of confusion
00:20:35.000 whether the individual put them down or police did, but it sounds like the individual who was
00:20:39.420 carrying got shot. So he's a total hero, saved tons of lives. And that's what we got to see more of.
00:20:46.120 And in particular, we've got to have people defending and protecting our churches.
00:20:49.520 We have, uh, individuals.
00:20:51.420 Wait, wait, wait. I want to, I want to drill down on something real quick. This wasn't like
00:20:54.740 a security guard. This was one of the people on the dais actually.
00:20:59.680 Yeah, this is, this is a, that what they, in the LDS faith, they call second counselor and the bishop
00:21:05.340 Rick. So you have a bishop who's kind of like the pastor or priest, and they have two counselors who,
00:21:11.160 who joined them. So all three of them are sitting on, on the stand. And so obviously they had,
00:21:17.180 they had looks. And so he was able to pull out his gun and it sounds like exchange fire
00:21:21.640 with the individual. And again, thank goodness he was there because who knows who else would have been,
00:21:26.000 uh, murdered, uh, if, if had he not had, had exchanged fire with that individual,
00:21:31.500 it sounds like he was shot is what the reports are. So we're praying for them. Uh, obviously it's just
00:21:37.840 another example of why it's so important to carry is that, uh, you have individuals who are sitting
00:21:43.980 ducks in places like churches and theaters and things like that. And the best way to fight the
00:21:49.800 bad guys with guns is good guys with guns. And we know that from experience after experience.
00:21:55.680 I mean, it's, it's, it has to be said. And, you know, I wish, Hey, don't we all wish we didn't live
00:22:02.100 in the world that we live in? And, you know, I hear the Democrats, the liberals run around and say,
00:22:06.420 and by the way, Michigan already has red flag laws. So, you know, this is a situation where,
00:22:11.000 you know, the red flag laws didn't work here. The system didn't work for whatever reason.
00:22:16.320 And, you know, this guy was able to do what he did and ultimately it's, it has to come down to
00:22:24.960 that. And this is what I talk about with violence on at the network level, when we're talking about
00:22:29.000 network violence, like, like decentralized distributed, um, you know, open source network warfare,
00:22:34.280 like a, I talked about on CNN, asymmetric civil warfare. That's what we're seeing.
00:22:39.260 And the only way ultimately to stop that is with some type of state force. Okay. We're being told
00:22:45.680 Tyler that being told that the president is walking out, tell people real quick where they can follow
00:22:49.480 you. Yep. Just that at Tyler Boyer, B-O-W-Y-E-R follow along. All right. Thanks so much, Tyler.
00:22:56.420 President Trump and prime minister Netanyahu of Israel, I believe a Gaza potential peace plan
00:23:02.440 is being presented. So this is a big, big day, a beautiful day, potentially one of the great days
00:23:09.280 ever in civilization. Things that have been going on for hundreds of years and thousands of years.
00:23:18.380 We're going to, at least we're at a minimum, very, very close. And I think we're beyond very close.
00:23:24.200 And I want to thank Bibi for really getting in there and doing a job. We've worked well together
00:23:31.380 as we have with many other countries, both of us with many other countries, which is the only way
00:23:36.880 this whole situation gets solved. And I'm not just talking about Gaza. Gaza is one thing, but we're
00:23:43.620 talking about much beyond Gaza, the whole deal, everything getting solved. It's called peace in the
00:23:52.300 Middle East. So today is a historic day for peace. And Prime Minister Netanyahu and I have just
00:24:00.960 concluded an important meeting on many vital issues, including Iran, trade, the expansion
00:24:07.460 of the Abraham Accords. And most importantly, we discussed how to end the war in Gaza. But
00:24:15.940 it's just a part of the bigger picture, which is peace in the Middle East. And let's call
00:24:23.260 it eternal peace in the Middle East. So this is far more than anybody expected. But the level
00:24:31.500 of support that I've had from the nations in the Middle East and surrounding Israel and neighbors
00:24:38.320 of Israel has been incredible. Incredible. Every single one of them. This afternoon, after extensive
00:24:44.280 consultation with our friends and partners throughout the region, I'm formally releasing our principles
00:24:50.100 for peace, which people have really liked, I must say. And these are done not just routinely done. These
00:24:57.360 are done with total and total consideration and working with the nations that we're talking about. All of
00:25:06.000 these nations have made contributions to those suggestions. I want to thank the leaders of many Arab and Muslim
00:25:13.600 nations for their tremendous support in developing the proposal along with many of our allies in
00:25:20.380 Europe. Europe has been very much involved and as I was called by many of the European leaders, most of
00:25:26.360 them saying, is this true? Are you really doing peace in the Middle East? This is the most incredible
00:25:34.000 thing we've heard. Some think it's the biggest thing they've ever heard. They called just to find out,
00:25:38.560 was it just a rumor or is it actually done? And then they said, have you spoken to the Arab leaders? Have you
00:25:45.160 spoken to the, all of the other leaders that we have to get? A lot of people involved in this one. I also
00:25:51.460 want to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for agreeing to the plan and for trusting that if we work together, we can
00:25:58.120 bring an end to the death and destruction that we've seen for so many years, decades, even centuries and begin a new
00:26:05.860 chapter of security, peace and prosperity for the entire region. And I want to just say that my meetings and
00:26:15.160 dialogue that we had with so many countries, Saudi Arabia as an example, the king is a phenomenal person. The
00:26:25.460 Emir of Qatar who's, he's an incredible people. UAE and that's MBZ and ABZ. We're totally involved. These are the
00:26:37.160 people that we've been dealing with and who've been actually very much involved in this negotiation, giving
00:26:44.060 us ideas, things they can live with, things they can't live with. Pretty complex. I mean, after 2000, 3000
00:26:51.360 years, whatever it is, I guess it's got to be a little complex or it would have been done a long time ago. The
00:26:56.660 King of Jordan was with us, as you know, in the United Nations. The president of Turkey, President Erdogan,
00:27:06.060 he's a friend of mine, strong man, but a good man. President of Indonesia, somebody who's an amazing leader.
00:27:15.460 He is an amazing leader and respected by everybody. He was in the room with us. We were together with most of
00:27:27.560 these people that I'm mentioning. Others were by phone or the next day. The prime minister and the field
00:27:35.760 marshal of Pakistan, they were with us right from the beginning. Incredible. In fact, they just put out a
00:27:44.560 statement that they fully believe in this pact. It just came out just as I was walking around. They
00:27:50.260 said, sir, you have a big notice from the prime minister of Pakistan and from the field marshal that
00:27:57.460 they back this 100 percent. President El-Sisi of Egypt, who's terrific. And these are people I've gotten to
00:28:06.100 know over the years. I mean, it's I would say it started around 2015 and then went into 2016 when the
00:28:13.840 presidency began officially began. But I've known him actually for a long time. And there are many
00:28:20.440 cases really great men. I can't say in all cases, but I will tell you, in many cases, they're great men
00:28:25.240 and some great women, too. They tend to be mostly men. However, I will say that. But if accepted by Hamas,
00:28:34.240 this proposal calls for the release of all remaining hostages immediately, but in no case more than 72 hours.
00:28:43.840 So the hostages are coming back. And I hate even saying this from the standpoint doesn't sound right,
00:28:52.180 but it is so important to the parents. The bodies of the young men, I believe in almost all cases, the young
00:29:00.940 men are coming back immediately. I met with parents. The parents felt as strongly about getting their
00:29:10.440 the body of their dead boy back as they did as though the boy were alive and well.
00:29:17.320 It's so important to them. And it means the immediate end to the war itself, not just Gaza.
00:29:26.320 It's the war itself under the plan. Arab and Muslim countries have committed that in writing in many
00:29:35.740 cases. But I actually would take their word for it. The people I mentioned, I take their word for it
00:29:40.540 to demilitarize Gaza. And that's quickly decommission the military capabilities of Hamas and all other terror
00:29:51.540 organizations. Do that immediately. And we're relying on the countries that I named and others to deal with
00:30:00.580 Hamas. And I'm hearing that Hamas wants to get this done, too. And that's a good thing. And destroy all terror
00:30:09.300 infrastructure, including the tunnels, weapons of production facilities. They have a lot of production
00:30:16.380 facilities that we're destroying. They'll also help train local police forces in the areas that we're
00:30:25.920 discussing right now, in particular in and around Gaza. Working with the new transitional authority in
00:30:33.660 Gaza, all parties will agree on a timeline for Israeli forces to withdraw in phases. They'll be withdrawing
00:30:40.740 in phases. No more shooting, hopefully, as progress is made toward achieving these goals. Arab and Muslim
00:30:48.480 nations need to be allowed the chance to fulfill these commitments of dealing with Hamas. They have to deal
00:30:54.940 with them because they were the one group that we have not dealt with. I haven't dealt with them. But the Arab
00:31:04.860 countries are going to and Muslim countries are going to be dealing with Hamas. And I believe they've already
00:31:11.160 been there. I think they probably have an understanding. And they haven't maybe mentioned that. But I would
00:31:17.320 imagine they do. Otherwise, they wouldn't have gone as far as they've gone. If they're unable to do so, then Israel
00:31:23.960 would have the absolute right and actually our full backing, the U.S. full backing mark is here. And a lot of
00:31:31.640 our leaders are here. Our great vice president, Susie Wiles, Steve Whitcoff, Jared Kushner. They've been so
00:31:39.380 involved in this process. I don't think anybody else could have done it or even come close. But we're right
00:31:48.020 there. We're right there. First time in thousands of years, I think you can probably say, if you really
00:31:55.220 look into it, if you study back, if you're a scholar, you would say thousands of years. Israel would have my
00:32:03.460 full backing to finish the job of destroying the threat of Hamas. But I hope that we're going to have a
00:32:12.740 deal for peace. And if Hamas rejects the deal, which is always possible, they're the only one left.
00:32:20.980 Everyone else has accepted it. But I have a feeling that we're going to have a positive answer. But if
00:32:28.260 not, as you know, Bibi, you'd have our full backing to do what you would have to do. Everyone understands
00:32:35.460 that the ultimate result must be the elimination of any danger posed in the region. And that danger
00:32:43.540 is caused by Hamas. The tyranny of terror has to end. And this is again something that we're looking
00:32:51.940 for. This is eternity. This is for forever. To ensure the success of this effort, my plan calls for
00:33:00.740 the creation of a new international oversight body, the Board of Peace, we call it the Board of Peace,
00:33:07.060 sort of a beautiful name, the Board of Peace, which will be headed, not at my request, believe me,
00:33:16.180 I'm very busy. But we have to make sure this works. The leaders of the Arab world and Israel and
00:33:25.060 everybody involved asked me to do this. So it'd be headed by a gentleman known as President
00:33:30.500 Donald J. Trump of the United States. That's what I want is some extra work to do. But it's so
00:33:37.860 important that I'm willing to do it. And we'll do it right. And we're going to put leaders from other
00:33:43.540 countries on and leaders that are very distinguished leaders. And we'll have a board. And one of the
00:33:48.980 people that wants to be on the board is the UK former prime minister, Tony Blair, good man, very good
00:33:55.540 man. And some others. And they'll be named over the next few days. And it'll be quite the board
00:34:04.100 working. Everybody wants to be on it now. I don't know if that had anything to do. They named me and
00:34:10.740 everybody else wanted to be on it. I guess they figure he's a soft touch. He'll be easy to deal with.
00:34:16.820 Working with the World Bank and others, it will be responsible for recruiting and training
00:34:22.100 a new government that will be made up of Palestinians along with highly qualified experts from all
00:34:28.100 around the world. Hamas and other terrorist factions will play no role in the board, but they'll play
00:34:37.140 no role in the governance of Gaza at all, directly or indirectly. As you know, thousands of Hamas
00:34:45.540 leaders have been killed and soldiers have been killed. And we can never forget October 7th, but
00:34:55.620 thousands have paid the price for that. And now it's time to get our hostages back and get back to
00:35:03.860 trying to build something that's really great and very important. In our meeting today, Prime Minister
00:35:08.100 Netanyahu is very clear about his opposition to a Palestinian state. And he continuously mentions
00:35:16.820 October 7th. And I understand that. Most people do. And I understand and respect his position on many
00:35:24.900 things. But what he's doing today is so good for Israel. And I noticed that they have large crowds
00:35:31.060 gathering in Israel all the time. And they have my name up. They like me for whatever reason,
00:35:34.820 maybe I don't know. But they do like me. But they say two things. Please get the hostages back and
00:35:42.900 please end the war. They've had it. They've had it. So I think it's a very popular thing you do. Because
00:35:48.740 he's a warrior. He doesn't know about getting back to a normal way of life. But he is a warrior. And
00:35:56.820 Israel is lucky to have him. But now the people want to get back to peace. They want to get back to
00:36:02.020 normalization in a true sense. Several countries have foolishly recognized the Palestinian state.
00:36:09.940 As you know, some of our European friends, allies, good people. But they're really, I think, doing that
00:36:16.900 because they're very tired of what's going on for so many decades. They've been presidents and prime
00:36:22.580 ministers for years. And during this time, having to do with the Middle East, all they're doing is
00:36:27.860 talking about the same thing over and over. They want to see it get back. And nobody wants that more
00:36:33.220 than me or, I believe, Bibi, too. But the people of Israel want it. They really want it. They want
00:36:39.140 the hostages back. That includes the probably 32 bodies that we're talking about, 20 people that are
00:36:46.980 living, 32 or so people that are dead. And they want to have peace. So let us not forget how we got here.
00:36:55.220 Hamas was elected by the Palestinian people. Israel withdrew from Gaza, thinking they would
00:37:02.420 live in peace. Remember that a long time ago? They withdrew. They said,
00:37:06.580 you take it. This is our contribution to peace. But that didn't work out.
00:37:12.020 That didn't work out. It was the opposite of peace. They pulled away. They let them have it.
00:37:19.300 And I never forgot that because I said, that doesn't sound like a good deal to me
00:37:23.140 as a real estate person. I mean, they gave up the ocean, right? Ron, they gave up the ocean. They
00:37:30.340 said, who would do this deal? And it still didn't work out. They were very generous, actually.
00:37:37.060 And they gave up the most magnificent piece of land in many ways in the Middle East. And they said,
00:37:42.260 all we want to do now is have peace. And that request was not honored. Instead of building a better
00:37:49.060 life for the Palestinians, Hamas diverted resources to build over 400 miles of tunnels and terror
00:37:55.540 infrastructure, rocket production facilities, and hid their military command posts and launch sites
00:38:02.100 in hospitals, schools, and mosques. So if you went after them, you'd be after them. And you wouldn't
00:38:08.660 even realize you ended up knocking out a hospital or school or a mosque. That terrible thing,
00:38:14.500 terrible, terrible way to have to fight. No fight is good, but that's a real bad one. So there are many
00:38:21.380 Palestinians who wish to live in peace. Many, many, many. I've seen so many of them. And they have
00:38:29.300 support. And I challenge the Palestinians to take responsibility for their destiny, because that's
00:38:36.020 what we're giving them. We're giving them responsibility for their destiny, fully condemn and prohibit terrorism,
00:38:42.980 and earn their way to a brighter future. They don't want the life that they've had. They've had a
00:38:49.300 rough life with Hamas. If the Palestinian Authority does not complete the reforms that I laid out in
00:38:55.860 my vision for peace in 2020, they'll have only themselves to blame. We're giving them an amazing
00:39:01.540 footprint. And they have amazing support from the leaders of the Arab world and the Muslim world,
00:39:06.100 the great, great leaders. These are great leaders. These are unbelievable leaders that have built great
00:39:11.220 countries and very wealthy countries. What the future holds for the Palestinians, no one really knows.
00:39:17.700 But the plan that we put forward today is focused on ending the war immediately, getting all of our
00:39:24.020 hostages back, getting everything back. Hard to believe when you even say it. And creating conditions for
00:39:33.700 durable Israeli security and Palestinian success. Israeli security is going to be involved. We're going to
00:39:40.340 help you. We'll be there with you. In terms of helping with security, we want to make sure it
00:39:46.820 works. We just want to make sure it works. There shouldn't be a shot fired. Now, there will be,
00:39:50.740 I guess, because that's the way it seems to be. But they shouldn't have to be within a few days.
00:39:55.380 They shouldn't have to be a shot fired. Maybe for eternity. Wouldn't that be nice? I hope it's true.
00:40:03.060 I can tell you the leadership of that region feels that there's a good chance of it being true. So this
00:40:10.500 will lead to a disagreement that we're talking about will lead to a sustainable long-term peace.
00:40:17.220 No president in history has been a greater friend of the state of Israel than I have in addition to
00:40:22.900 negotiating the Abraham Accords. I like to say it that way because the real people, that's what they call
00:40:30.660 Abraham. I would say Abraham. But it's so much nicer when you say Abraham. So much more elegant.
00:40:41.060 But the Abraham Accords are amazing. Jared, you did that along with your group of geniuses.
00:40:47.940 And nobody thought that could be done. We have four countries and sleepy Joe Biden didn't do a thing.
00:40:52.740 He didn't even know what the hell they were. He should have had them fold up. But I think this will
00:40:56.980 also lead to packing them. And who knows, maybe even Iran can get in there. I hope we expect,
00:41:03.700 we hope we're going to be able to get along with Iran. I think they're going to be open to it. I
00:41:11.220 really believe that. But they could be a member. I long ago said, I'll bet you at some point,
00:41:17.060 Iran will be a member of the Accords. And little did I realize it was going to take this turn.
00:41:21.940 It was some turn we did with the B2s. But I think they might very well be there. It's a great thing
00:41:31.860 for them economically. I recognize the eternal capital of Israel. I opened the American embassy
00:41:39.540 in Jerusalem. That was something that everyone said would never be done, could never be done.
00:41:43.220 And virtually every president for many, many years, for decades, would campaign on
00:41:51.220 making Jerusalem the capital of Israel. They campaigned. They campaigned on it over and over.
00:41:56.180 Is that right, Steve? Is that right? Everyone. And when they got to it, and I understand why now,
00:42:00.820 because it was so, when I got to office, I campaigned on it too. I said, we're going to make it.
00:42:07.540 And then I'd get calls from the leaders of various countries saying, please don't do it. Please don't
00:42:12.580 do it. It'll end the whole world. Please don't do it. And finally, I just didn't say anything. And I did it.
00:42:20.180 People were calling me before I did it, because they heard I was going to do it. And
00:42:23.780 leaders of countries were calling me. And I think it was on a Thursday that I did it. And
00:42:29.220 they'd call me Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, three, four times a day. And I said,
00:42:32.980 tell them I'll call them back on Friday. And I announced it on Thursday. And I called them back,
00:42:39.300 the biggest people in the world. And they said, you've done it. I said, done what? You've made the
00:42:46.420 capital of Israel, Jerusalem. And we wanted to talk yet. Oh, I wish you called me a little sooner.
00:42:54.020 Maybe I could have done something about. So that was a lot easier than getting into an argument,
00:43:00.500 because I knew what they were calling about. And you know what? It turned out to be amazing.
00:43:05.140 Everybody thought it was going to lead to the end of the world, right? The end of the world,
00:43:09.540 Ron. That's what they said. It didn't lead to anything. It just led to something that I promised
00:43:15.140 and something that was very, very popular for Jewish people and a lot of other people, too.
00:43:22.660 I recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. And I cut taxpayer funding to
00:43:28.180 the corrupt United Nations relief and works agency. And United Nations was interesting because,
00:43:35.700 as you know, a few days ago, they introduced me. Ladies and gentlemen,
00:43:39.460 the president of the United States, I'm looking at my teleprompter, and the thing was dead,
00:43:43.700 stone cold, dead. The thing's up here. I have a long, beautiful speech to make. I'm back,
00:43:50.420 30 feet back. And I'm saying, they're introducing me. There's nothing on my teleprompter.
00:43:59.540 So, but I made a speech. I actually got good marks. You think Biden could have done that? I don't think
00:44:04.340 so. I don't think he could have done that. I don't think too many people could have done it. But
00:44:08.660 actually, it was actually more of a speech from my heart, if you want to know the truth. I think it was,
00:44:12.820 it was maybe better in certain ways because it was from the heart. It has to be from the heart.
00:44:19.060 Otherwise, you're in big trouble. But I cut taxpayer funding for that very corrupt United Nations
00:44:28.500 relief and works agency. And nobody thought that would be done and withdrew from the horrible Iran
00:44:34.740 nuclear deal that was imposed upon Israel by Barack Hussein Obama and Biden. And I don't think Biden
00:44:43.620 knew anything about it. I don't think he knows anything about it now, actually, if you ask him.
00:44:48.580 He said, what is that? And we obliterated Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity, making it impossible
00:44:54.900 for them to have a nuclear weapon, which they would have had probably in about two months from then.
00:44:59.060 But I've never asked Israel to compromise its security. But we had big, strong talk. Nobody's
00:45:07.620 been better than Israel. No president's been better to Israel than Donald Trump. But we had a long,
00:45:13.540 strong talk, Bibi and I, and he understands it's time. It's time. History has shown. And the people of
00:45:19.220 Israel want it. And the people of the Middle East want it. The people of enemies of Israel want it. But
00:45:26.180 they don't have really too many enemies right now. And you know what? Many countries have gained great
00:45:32.180 respect for Israel, for the way they fight, the job they do, including me. I had respect anyway,
00:45:38.580 but they gained respect. History has shown us that those who have relations with Israel have thrived,
00:45:46.180 while those who have devoted resources and attention toward the destruction and even annihilation of
00:45:52.580 Israel have languished. They haven't done well. Israel is not going anywhere. They're going to
00:45:59.220 coexist with other people and countries in the region, from Syria to Lebanon to Saudi Arabia.
00:46:07.540 The promise of a new Middle East is so clearly within our reach. This is the closest we've ever come
00:46:12.580 to real peace, not fake peace, not political fool's peace. If we can get this difficult problem solved,
00:46:20.580 the opportunities for all within that vast region of this world. It's a vast region. It's unlimited.
00:46:30.020 The Abraham Accords show that all countries are better off when they communicate and work together
00:46:37.220 and embrace new opportunities. I hope Jared and Steve and Susie and Marco and J.D., we have great people.
00:46:45.380 I hope you guys are going to work very hard to get these other countries in, because now they have no
00:46:50.740 excuse. There's no longer an excuse. They were somewhere hesitant. And I tell you, the four
00:46:56.500 countries that went in, I give them tremendous credit, and it's worked out incredibly well for them.
00:47:02.500 In the same spirit, I'm pleased to report that earlier today, we took another important step toward
00:47:07.300 greater understanding of the region. A short time ago, we had a historic phone call in the Oval Office with
00:47:13.540 Prime Minister Tani, who's really a great, great person. So we had a great talk. And I was on the phone,
00:47:27.060 and Bibi was talking. Prime Minister Al Thani was of Qatar. They really had a heart-to-heart conversation.
00:47:36.100 It was a great conversation, I thought. It was productive. It was everything that you need to have
00:47:42.660 something turned out to be successful. And I want to thank Bibi, and I want to thank
00:47:47.140 the Prime Minister. It was fantastic. We agreed to launch a formal trilateral mechanism between Israel,
00:47:54.180 Qatar, and the United States to begin a dialogue to enhance mutual security, correct
00:47:59.940 misperceptions, and avoid future misgivings. And I want to thank Qatar, its leadership, and the Amir.
00:48:06.420 It's a fantastic person. I think, you know, I'm going to be his public relations man, because I know
00:48:14.500 him differently than a lot of people know him. But he wants peace. He wants to see peace in his people.
00:48:20.580 And they really acknowledge the critical role that they've played as mediator. And again, we're not
00:48:27.380 quite finished. We have to get Hamas. But I think they're going to be able to do that. So now it's time
00:48:32.180 for Hamas to accept the terms of the plan that we've put forward today. And again, this is a
00:48:38.260 different Hamas than we were dealing with, because I guess over 20,000 have been killed. Their leadership
00:48:44.660 has been killed three times over. So you're really dealing with different people than we've been
00:48:49.140 dealing with over the last four years, five years. Everyone has done their part and come to the table
00:48:55.700 in good faith. Our Arab and Muslim partners are fully prepared to step up and fulfill their commitment
00:49:02.100 for the benefit of the people of Gaza and the entire region. They're willing to step up and do a lot.
00:49:07.300 They really are. There are a lot of good people involved. Everyone who wants to see,
00:49:11.540 everybody who wants to see an end to the violence and destruction should be united in calling for
00:49:16.740 Hamas to accept the extremely fair proposal so that we can end the war and get us back our hostages
00:49:26.020 right now and have everlasting peace. And I look forward to having relationships with everyone
00:49:33.780 as the chairman of the board. I'll be involved and we'll have meetings with some very smart people
00:49:41.620 that will be working over there to make sure that we haven't just been wasting time with an agreement
00:49:46.340 that doesn't get done. The task of building peace will not be easy. There are some of the hardest
00:49:51.860 problems in the world to solve. And that's why it's been going on for so many centuries.
00:49:58.420 But too many lives are at stake not to try. And this is more than a try. I mean, I think this is
00:50:03.140 something that gets done when you have every virtually every country. And these are powerful,
00:50:08.260 powerful countries that have a lot of money and the money can make things happen. A lot of countries
00:50:14.580 try and they don't have any money. These are very rich countries that can make things happen.
00:50:18.900 So together we'll forge a much safer and more hopeful future for everybody, including Israel.
00:50:26.420 And I want to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for his partnership. And I want to thank all of the
00:50:32.260 leaders, the kings and the emirs and the presidents and prime ministers, people I mentioned. And they've
00:50:41.460 been absolutely fantastic to work with. And it's just happened very quickly. It's happened from
00:50:46.420 a couple of weeks before the, I had a meeting, a couple of meetings, but a couple of weeks before
00:50:54.180 we went to the United Nations. And we had some just, we had some incredible meetings. It all
00:50:59.460 came to place. It all took place. And everybody wanted to be a part of it. I don't have anybody
00:51:03.940 that's saying, we don't want anything to do with it. It's just the opposite. And I'll tell you,
00:51:08.340 a couple of years ago, a year ago, I don't think we would have had this kind of participation,
00:51:13.620 Mr. VP, right? I don't think we would have had. It's been amazing. The participation was 100%.
00:51:19.060 Everybody wants to be a part of it. And everybody, those very strong countries, everybody wants it
00:51:24.740 to work. So, Bibi, congratulations on this. I think this will be your crowning achievement,
00:51:32.420 frankly. If this all works out, we think it will. It's going to be your crowning achievement. And I want
00:51:37.620 to thank you very much for being here. Thank you. Please. Thank you. Thank you.
00:51:44.340 Mr. President, first, I want to thank you for
00:51:48.100 graciously hosting me once again in the White House. And second, I want to thank you for your
00:51:54.820 for your friendship and for your leadership. From Jerusalem to Tehran, from the Golan Heights to Gaza,
00:52:03.860 you've proven time and again what I've said many times. You are the greatest friend that Israel has
00:52:12.260 ever had in the White House. And, Mr. President, you and I both know it's not even close.
00:52:21.460 While you focus at home on making America great again, your leadership abroad is changing the world
00:52:30.100 for the better, ending wars and advancing peace. I believe that today we're taking a critical step
00:52:40.020 towards both ending the war in Gaza and setting the stage for dramatically advancing peace in the Middle
00:52:48.100 East and, I think, beyond the Middle East and very important Muslim countries.
00:52:54.100 I support your plan to end the war in Gaza, which achieves our war aims. It will bring back to Israel
00:53:05.300 all our hostages, dismantle Hamas's military capabilities, end its political rule, and ensure
00:53:13.540 that Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel.
00:53:16.820 We would not have achieved this turning point without the courage and sacrifice of our incredibly brave
00:53:30.580 soldiers. They fight like lions to defend the people of Israel, and they serve on the front line
00:53:40.260 in the war between civilization and barbarism. Mr. President,
00:53:49.140 when our two countries stand shoulder to shoulder, we achieve the impossible. Just a few months ago,
00:53:58.100 in Operation Rising Line and Operation Midnight Hammer, we struck a decisive blow
00:54:04.980 against Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile program. Your bold decision to send those B-2s
00:54:14.580 made the region safer and the world safer. Now, under your leadership, we're taking the next step
00:54:23.860 to win the war and expand the peace. Your plan is consistent with the five principles my government set
00:54:32.420 for the end of the war and the day after Hamas. Everybody asks, what is your plan for the day after Hamas?
00:54:39.540 Here's our plan. Pass that in the cabinet. All our hostages, both those who are alive and those who died,
00:54:49.460 all of them will return home immediately. Hamas will be disarmed.
00:54:55.380 Gaza will be demilitarized. Israel will retain security responsibility, including a security perimeter
00:55:04.900 for the foreseeable future. And lastly, Gaza will have a peaceful civilian administration
00:55:11.620 that is run neither by Hamas nor by the Palestinian Authority.
