00:00:39.740 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:46.360 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:49.460 Christ is king.
00:00:50.760 Catholics around the world are mourning the death of Pope Francis.
00:00:54.620 The Vatican announced his funeral will be Saturday.
00:00:57.000 It also released his cause of death.
00:00:59.280 This as cardinals prepare the conclave to elect a new pope.
00:01:03.460 President Trump slamming Jay Powell again, writing in part on Truth Social today, quote,
00:01:08.440 with these costs trending so nicely downward, just what I predicted they would do,
00:01:13.420 there can almost be no inflation, but there can be a slowing of the economy unless Mr.
00:01:19.080 Too Late, a major loser, lowers interest rates now.
00:01:23.100 We are especially excited to formally announce that America and India have officially finalized the terms of reference for the trade negotiation.
00:01:32.020 Now, this is the father of her children, Casey Barrera Rosa.
00:01:34.840 He's charged with murder, and he's currently in ISIS custody.
00:01:38.200 And we also have this mugshot of his uncle, authorities charged Roland Barrera with being an accessory to the crime.
00:01:44.700 A spokesperson for the Charles County Sheriff's Office says the suspect was methodical in hiding this woman's body,
00:01:50.520 burying her deep, and using old dirt to conceal the hole.
00:01:53.960 Authorities told us that they found fraudulent immigration documents for Barrera Rosa and confirmed he was in the U.S. illegally.
00:02:01.100 The Supreme Court issued a rare weekend ruling Saturday, temporarily blocking the Trump administration from deporting a group of Venezuelans
00:02:07.840 held at a Texas detention facility using a centuries-old wartime law.
00:02:12.940 This comes after an emergency appeal was filed last Friday by the American Civil Liberties Union,
00:02:18.160 challenging the administration's use of the 18th Century Alien Enemies Act.
00:02:23.040 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition here, Human Events Daily.
00:02:27.420 Today is April 22nd, 2025, Anno Domini.
00:02:33.460 And folks, we're looking at a lot of stuff here across the spectrum, but really focused on Washington, D.C.
00:02:40.460 President Trump and his administration, his team are doing everything they can to continue the fight,
00:02:46.200 to protect this country, and to fight against the swamp.
00:02:49.920 And the swamp, of course, is fighting back.
00:02:53.060 What are we seeing?
00:02:53.980 Well, when it comes to the DNI's office over at Tulsi Gabbard, we're now starting to see neocons push the DNI,
00:03:03.000 push the intel community to reverse their intelligence on Iran and their weapons of mass destruction program.
00:03:12.800 It's like, wow, where have I seen this one before?
00:03:16.200 Gosh, gee willikers. 1.00
00:03:18.660 And of course, the intel community under the ODNI is not going to shade things or exaggerate things.
00:03:26.300 It's going to stick with the truth and stick with the facts, regardless of what the war party wants.
00:03:33.180 Because as we know, President Trump and his administration were elected to prevent new wars, not to start them.
00:03:41.940 Speaking of, though, one of the things that this administration was elected to stop was the ongoing invasion of the United States,
00:03:50.940 which took place under Joe Biden.
00:03:53.140 This is actually a very interesting topic.
00:03:54.960 We're going to have Libby Edmonds on later to discuss this. 1.00
00:03:57.580 When is an invasion an invasion?
00:04:00.500 Now, going back to that same DNI office, the ODNI office, there was an intelligence assessment that was leaked by the National Intelligence Council claiming,
00:04:10.600 claiming that we were not under invasion by Trendy Aragua, that we were not under invasion by MS-13.
00:04:17.720 Oh, I'm sorry.
00:04:19.460 Do you not like that?
00:04:20.600 Would you like another word for it?
00:04:21.940 But that really is the question.
00:04:23.680 Because this is all going up to the Supreme Court and the use of the Alien Enemies Act.
00:04:29.040 And we'll see.
00:04:30.380 Will the Supreme Court side with common sense and side with the voters?
00:04:35.560 Or will the Supreme Court decide that they get to determine when the United States is under invasion?
00:04:42.920 Because heretofore, that has been the sole purpose and the sole remit of the executive branch,
00:04:52.400 and the head of which is the commander-in-chief of the U.S. military, the duly elected president of the United States.
00:05:01.920 That's what this all comes down to.
00:05:04.220 So when is an invasion not an invasion?
00:05:07.480 Really interesting stuff here, and honestly, could be, potentially, the difference between life and death.
00:05:16.680 Not just for us and our families, but for the United States of America.
00:05:20.520 We'll be right back, Human Events Daily.
00:05:25.880 What America first truly means.
00:05:28.340 Welcome to the second American revolution.
00:05:32.760 All right, folks, this is Jack Posobiec.
00:05:38.960 You're here live.
00:05:40.000 Human Events Daily is beginning.
00:05:42.360 I want to welcome in the third hour of the Charlie Kirk audience on the Salem Radio Network.
00:05:49.560 We've got a massive, huge show in store for you today.
00:05:53.540 But, folks, listen up.
00:05:54.660 If you're a homeowner, you've got to hear this.
00:05:57.420 When's the last time that you checked on your home title?
00:06:00.080 Well, that's the legal proof that you own your house.
00:06:03.360 If you're like me, the answer is, you know, kind of never.
00:06:06.420 The problem is, in today's AI and cyber world, scammers are stealing home titles.
00:06:11.620 And your equity is the target.
00:06:13.300 Here's how it works.
00:06:14.520 Criminals forge your signature on one document. 0.99
00:06:16.820 They use a fake notary stamp.
00:06:18.760 They pay a small fee with your county.
00:06:21.120 And boom, your home title has been transferred out of your name.
00:06:25.380 This is identity theft of your home.
00:06:27.120 Then they take out loans using your equity or even sell your property.
00:06:31.620 You won't even know what's happened until you get a collection or foreclosure notice.
00:06:36.080 That's why you need to stop what you're doing and find out today if you're already a victim.
00:06:41.300 Here's what you do.
00:06:42.260 Use promo code POSO at HomeTitleLock.com.
00:06:46.400 Make sure your name is still, make sure your title is still in your name.
00:06:49.400 You'll also get a free title history report, plus a free 14-day trial of their million-dollar triple lock protection.
00:06:58.040 That's 24-7 monitoring of your title, urgent alerts to any changes.
00:07:02.540 And if fraud should happen, they'll spend up to $1 million to fix it.
00:07:08.300 Go to HomeTitleLock.com now.
00:07:10.080 Use promo code POSO.
00:07:11.440 That's HomeTitleLock.com, promo code POSO.
00:07:14.540 All right, folks, we've got a real treat for us because we have Real America's Voice White House correspondent, the senior White House correspondent there live.
00:07:24.260 Brian Glenn joins us now from just outside the White House where he attended Caroline Levitt's press secretary brief, the press conference, just moments ago.
00:07:35.820 Brian, tell us about what we heard at this press conference and also your thoughts on what we didn't hear.
00:07:42.660 Yeah, good afternoon, Jack.
00:07:46.020 Some of the things that we did here, we heard a lot of the trade agreements that Vice President J.D. Vance just kind of teased on X with Prime Minister Modi there in India.
00:07:58.620 We heard a little bit about that.
00:07:59.740 We heard of the massive immigration crackdown that we've seen, that these numbers that have dropped up to 95 percent in certain locations along the border.
00:08:08.980 So it was immigration, it was economy, but what we didn't hear was the obsession from the mainstream media to talk about what I've called Signal Gate 2.0, this kind of rinse and refresh story, this new version of the story that's coming out.
00:08:25.300 We did not hear that from the media there in the briefing.
00:08:29.960 We heard it one time, Jack, but that was probably about 10 times or 10 less than I thought we would see today, but definitely a different vibe today in the briefing room.
00:08:42.200 And so that's really interesting.
00:08:45.720 You know, these stories, of course, you know, and I get I get readouts in the media.
00:08:49.800 I look at the headlines, the you know, the different newsletters that come out every day and they've been hitting this pretty hard.
00:08:56.580 And yet we also know that, look, when it comes down to it, the ratings drivers for MSNBC, for CNN, the New York Times, for The Washington Post in terms of their click through rate, they know what's getting traffic and what isn't.
00:09:10.040 And so your contention is that because they're not necessarily hitting those stories with the same fervor they would have a week ago or even a day ago, it could be that they're actually perhaps recalibrating because they need something new because this current scandal is just not sticking.
00:09:28.840 Yeah, well, remember last week when Rachel Moreland's mom, Patty Moreland, addressed the briefing room and kind of went over the destructive and very descriptive of what happened to her daughter.
00:09:41.780 I was very curious to see what would happen the next time the briefing room got together.
00:09:47.300 Would we hear stories about the Maryland man?
00:09:49.920 Would we hear stories that basically defend illegal aliens in this country today?
00:09:56.000 Jack, I didn't hear that.
00:09:57.420 I didn't hear any.
00:09:58.580 Actually, I did not hear.
00:09:59.720 I heard one question that came from a reporter in the back of the room.
00:10:03.760 It was about a Supreme Court decision halting those deportation flights.
00:10:07.280 Other than that, we did not hear the very often nasty comments and questions that we heard from the mainstream media that did not happen today.
00:10:17.320 Maybe they learned.
00:10:18.100 In fact, there was another another Maryland woman murdered by an illegal immigrant just just yesterday in, by the way, in the same county.
00:10:26.740 PG County only a few miles away from where from where Abrago Garcia was picked up.
00:10:32.780 And we're going to have Libby Emmons on in the next segment to talk about this from the post-millennial.
00:10:37.260 The issue is that this is this is the same gang or Abrago Garcia was the same gang as the fugitive, by the way, who murdered Rachel Moran or excuse me, Patty Moran's daughter, Rachel Moran.
00:10:51.640 It was the same gang.
00:10:52.960 So, by the way, when I brought that up a couple of times, I had the left saying, oh, why would you why would you conflate the stories?
00:10:58.940 Why would you conflate the stories?
00:11:00.200 They're in the same gang.
00:11:02.040 It's the same gang in the same state operating up and down the I-95 corridor.
00:11:08.160 Why?
00:11:08.760 Why do you think I'm good?
00:11:10.020 I'm not conflating it.
00:11:11.240 I'm describing a situation that's going on in the United States, by the way, that's targeting working class people.
00:11:19.920 It in a pretty defined area, which is called Maryland, one of the original 13 colonies, by the way, you know, our Naval Academy is there.
00:11:30.280 Just some of the things that we might want to mention.
00:11:33.400 Gee, I don't know.
00:11:34.820 And meanwhile, you've got another bunch of loons that are down there trying to go to the El Salvador prison.
00:11:39.920 By the way, Brian, do we have any indications, will they be handcuffing themselves to the El Salvadoran prison down there until the illegals are released?
00:11:49.420 Because, gosh, I hope so.
00:11:52.020 Yeah, I would hope so as well.
00:11:54.180 Another side note here, Jamie Raskin, speaking of Maryland, Jamie Raskin was very open about almost threatening countries that did business with the U.S. in terms of this trade agreement.
00:12:07.840 And so, once again, Democrats are on the wrong side of the story, not just with this immigration topic that we're talking about, but the now fiscal trade agreements.
00:12:18.600 How radical is that, that we have House Democrats threatening countries that if you do business with Trump, if you do negotiations with President Trump, there's going to be a price to pay.
00:12:28.580 But that's where we're at here in 2025.
00:12:31.420 And special note, also, Jack, Tim Poole, Tim Poole sat in the new media seat today and got a lot of attention, obviously, when he walked in.
00:12:41.660 A lot of people are familiar with him, millions and millions of followers.
00:12:44.860 His question to Carolyn Levin, I thought was a really good one.
00:12:47.680 When can we expect to see kind of a reshuffling of the White House briefing room, perhaps insinuating that some of us might be able to have a seat in there?
00:12:57.100 I didn't quite give a definitive answer on that, but definitely acknowledged the change that's going on in that briefing room by adding people like Tim Poole and people like ourselves in that very covenant space.
00:13:11.100 Well, Tim's a good friend, and, you know, I was just out there last week on the compound, and he and I were, you know, dishing it up on a couple of different stories here and there.
00:13:21.320 And, you know, it just goes to show you that this has been the new administration's ability to understand where the puck is going, which way the wind is blowing.
00:13:31.680 These are the types of people in new media, Real America's Voice, the Salem Radio Network, podcasters, YouTubers, et cetera.
00:13:40.400 These are who the people are listening to now.
00:13:44.380 We're done with the dinosaur media.
00:13:46.280 We're done with the legacy media.
00:13:48.240 We're so done with all this nonsense.
00:13:52.040 And that's why, and so the administration, how could you bring in people like Tim Poole and Jack Posobiec and Brian Glenn, and, you know, they go after you all the time.
00:13:58.660 And it's like, because we're who people listen to now.
00:14:01.820 When are you going to get this through your minds?
00:14:04.980 Yeah.
00:14:05.880 No, you're absolutely right.
00:14:07.380 I mean, Politico had a piece on MAGA Media today, and sort of the New Yorker magazine had an article as well that talks about Real America's Voice and myself.
00:14:17.840 And I just think that's reflective of how we're seeing different platforms rise to the top and actually report on what's happening.
00:14:25.540 And if it wasn't for, you know, outlets like ourselves that's been talking about what's happening on the border, Ben Burkwam being on the forefront of that, yourself happening on what's happening, giving us an idea of what can happen in the intel community and what's happening abroad internationally.
00:14:40.940 I mean, this is what's important.
00:14:42.240 This is why the American people now know.
00:14:44.300 And if it wasn't for outlets like ourselves, they simply would be in the dark.
00:14:47.140 Yeah, I got a nice mention in the New Yorker piece as well.
00:14:55.680 They said Posobiec is obsessed with policing loyalty in Washington, D.C.
00:15:01.800 It's great.
00:15:03.200 I love it.
00:15:03.900 Gotta love the New Yorker.
00:15:05.340 God bless them.
00:15:06.500 So, Brian Glenn, thank you so much for your reporting there.
00:15:11.480 We'll be right back.
00:15:12.480 Jack Posobiec, you're listening to Human Events here on Salem Radio Network and Real America's Voice.
00:15:21.460 You know, they talk about influencers.
00:15:23.900 These are influencers.
00:15:25.760 And they're friends of mine.
00:15:28.140 Jack Posobiec.
00:15:29.700 Where's Jack?
00:15:30.600 Jack.
00:15:31.600 He's done a great job.
00:15:33.080 He's done a great job.
00:15:36.500 All right, folks, Jack Posobiec back here, Human Events Daily.
00:15:41.360 Wanted to bring on the editor-in-chief of Human Events, as well as the post-millennial Libby Emmons,
00:15:48.900 to talk about some of these stories and a whole lot more.
00:15:52.840 Libby, it's been a minute since we've had you on.
00:15:55.240 Yeah, it sure has.
00:15:56.080 Thanks so much, Jack.
00:15:56.920 Glad to be here.
00:15:58.620 So, I've got to go.
00:16:00.440 You know, I wake up this morning and I've been tweeting a lot.
00:16:03.560 We've been digging into this story.
00:16:04.820 It's, you know, taken off like wildfire online, this Carmelo Anthony story.
00:16:09.160 And one of the big pieces of this that I've been getting into, Tim Poole, by the way, has done a lot of podcasting about this.
00:16:16.040 And he was featured as the new media seat in the press briefing.
00:16:19.760 One of the things that Tim and I, who, and, you know, we had some substantive agreements, disagreements, I would say, on this.
00:16:25.980 When we had a sort of, I would say, a friendly discussion.
00:16:28.260 It wasn't really a debate, but a friendly discussion about it.
00:16:30.760 And one of the pieces where we came to real agreement was, where is the video?
00:16:35.160 Where is the video of this horrific encounter?
00:16:37.260 By the way, Carmelo Anthony stabs Austin Metcalf.
00:16:39.940 He claims it was self-defense.
00:16:41.580 The police report doesn't seem to claim that.
00:16:43.600 And so it's just really been this huge firestorm that's taken off.
00:16:46.920 I think over a million dollars has been donated in various campaigns in support of each of them.
00:16:53.500 But Libby, what happened when a pro Carmelo Anthony organization mentioned me this morning?
00:17:01.820 And I believe Postmillennial has the story.
00:17:04.980 Yeah, we sure do have the story.
00:17:06.440 So these people took issue with you demanding that the video be released.
00:17:10.560 We've seen videos released in countless other crime scenarios.
00:17:14.780 And for some reason, these guys do not want this one released.
00:17:18.620 It was a pretty fascinating thing that they said.
00:17:22.780 If I could just grab it real quick.
00:17:25.740 They said, where'd it go?
00:17:28.140 You said, it's now been 19 days.
00:17:29.960 And the Carmelo Anthony team has still yet to call for the release of the video of the incident.
00:17:37.440 But the not-for-profit there, the like BLM style not-for-profit, they don't want to turn it out. 0.65
00:17:45.100 And they claim that there's a problem with releasing it.
00:17:48.680 And that by releasing it, they would be perhaps putting the integrity of the case in question.
00:17:56.320 Of course, we see video all the time.
00:17:58.420 And this is coming from the representative of a family who has said that they're receiving death threats.
00:18:04.420 That they have had to move Anthony out of their home and into some undisclosed location.
00:18:10.000 Which this not-for-profit said that they did.
00:18:13.440 And yeah, I mean, I think you're right.
00:18:16.020 I think we got to see the tape.
00:18:18.240 That's usually what happens in modern America.
00:18:20.920 Let me just get this straight.
00:18:22.260 So this is an organization, not the main organization, to be clear about that.
00:18:26.600 This isn't the NGAN organization that actually hired the family advocate.
00:18:31.420 But it is an organization that's raising money in the name of Carmelo Anthony, saying that they want me to stop asking for the video of the incident.
00:18:42.700 When, in these cases, we always ask for the video.
00:18:45.620 In fact, body cam footage is something that we always want out.
00:18:48.140 We talked about that in George Floyd.
00:18:50.580 By the way, I don't recall anyone saying that we shouldn't release the George Floyd video.
00:18:55.820 After that became one of the most viewed videos probably in the entire world in 2020.
00:19:02.600 And I don't recall anyone ever saying, stop showing that video.
00:19:07.040 But now suddenly they've released this legal letter.
00:19:10.920 I don't know if it's legal letter or, you know, AI written or whatever, saying that Jack Posobiec, how dare he call for the release of the video?
00:19:21.360 I said, well, wait a minute.
00:19:22.980 If you guys were so sure that this was self-defense, wouldn't the first thing you want released be the video?
00:19:31.520 That's what I'm trying to understand, Libby.
00:19:32.940 We've got about a minute till the break.
00:19:34.120 Yeah, that's exactly what they would do.
00:19:36.640 And if they wanted to stand behind their integrity of the case thing, they would leak it.
00:19:40.920 They would make sure that the public saw what this organization and what the representatives wanted them to see in defense of Anthony.
00:19:48.820 But instead, they're hiding behind this legal language.
00:19:51.320 They're saying that they don't want it released.
00:19:53.500 And, you know, perhaps it'll come out in court.
00:19:55.540 Likely it will come out in court.
00:19:56.920 It better come out in court.
00:19:58.200 And by then, we're all going to see it.
00:20:00.160 But we saw, too, what happened in the Kyle Rittenhouse case.
00:20:03.100 It wasn't until the video was made clear.
00:20:06.180 It wasn't until people could see with their own eyes that Rittenhouse was acting in self-defense that the charges against him, you know, that he was able to be cleared of those charges.
00:20:15.800 And in this case, you start to wonder, is it perhaps that the representatives and the lawyers are not so sure of their case?
00:20:22.040 Is that why they don't want it to be out there?
00:20:24.580 Is that why they don't want that to they don't think it's going to clear his name?
00:20:28.000 Otherwise, they'd make sure it was out is really that's that's the point.
00:20:31.140 And it's as simple as that.
00:20:33.000 It's as simple as that.
00:20:34.600 One side is asking that all of the evidence be released so that we can have the evidence to determine what went on.
00:20:44.240 Now you have people saying, don't release the evidence.
00:20:47.840 Don't release the evidence.
00:20:49.380 Don't release the evidence.
00:20:51.840 Gee, I wonder why they would be saying that.
00:20:55.940 Methinks they doth protest too much.
00:20:59.760 Jack Krasovic here, Human Events Daily.
00:21:02.760 We will be right back with Libby Evans, the Editor-in-Chief of Postmillennial and Human Events.
00:21:07.100 Jack, where is Jack?
00:21:16.660 Where is Jack?
00:21:18.940 Where is he?
00:21:20.240 Jack, I want to see you.
00:21:23.880 Great job, Jack.
00:21:25.320 Thank you.
00:21:26.080 What a job you do.
00:21:27.500 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:21:28.880 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad.
00:21:31.180 But we have guys.
00:21:32.600 And these are the guys who should be getting policemen.
00:21:34.700 All right, Jack Pesoba.
00:21:38.580 Here we are back.
00:21:39.380 Live Human Events Daily, Washington, D.C.
00:21:43.220 We're on with Libby Evans, the Editor-in-Chief of the Postmillennial and Human Events.
00:21:48.300 And Libby, I want to get into this situation here with the Alito's descent in the scathing descent,
00:21:57.960 which it's very short, but very punchy.
00:22:00.220 People should absolutely read it.
00:22:01.380 It's only a couple of pages.
00:22:03.160 But also this idea of the Alien Enemies Act.
00:22:06.960 And, you know, I kind of am phrasing it, and I've been putting this out as saying,
00:22:11.140 when is an invasion an invasion?
00:22:13.980 Who actually gets to determine this?
00:22:16.980 And under the Constitution, it certainly says, under Article 4, it states that the authority
00:22:26.720 is for the federal government to protect the states from invasion.
00:22:30.400 So Congress and the president, we know that national security is, of course, under the
00:22:35.820 president of the United States.
00:22:37.860 So Libby, tell us what you read in Alito's descent, and give us the backstory on all this.
00:22:43.980 Yeah, so the ACLU on Friday brought suit in three different courts to try and block the
00:22:50.580 deportation of about 50 Venezuelans from a facility in Amson, Texas, which is in the
00:22:56.640 Northern District of Texas.
00:22:58.700 They freaked out.
00:22:59.800 The ACLU freaked out.
00:23:01.000 They said, these people are being loaded onto planes right now.
00:23:03.500 Ah, hair on fire.
00:23:04.860 They went to the Northern District Court of Texas.
00:23:07.180 They filed their complaint there.
00:23:08.960 They wanted this deportation stopped.
00:23:10.760 They also simultaneously filed with the Fifth District Court in New Orleans, right, which
00:23:17.520 is a federal court.
00:23:18.420 And then they also filed an emergency order with the Supreme Court.
00:23:21.960 So the case was open in two lower courts, but the Supreme Court took it up anyway, which
00:23:27.100 they're not supposed to do because ultimately the Supreme Court is, you know, an appellate
00:23:31.460 court.
00:23:31.920 Like once you're hearing a case at the Supreme Court, it's been through a bunch of lower
00:23:35.240 courts.
00:23:35.820 So the Supreme Court decided that they would weigh in on this.
00:23:39.480 They did that shortly after midnight on Friday night.
00:23:43.220 It was a ruling where there were only two dissenters and there was no, the opinion was unsigned.
00:23:51.160 And it said that the Trump administration, the government could not do any deportations
00:23:55.160 until further order from this court, meaning the Supreme Court, which took up the case.
00:24:00.320 So Alito said that he would later put out a statement.
00:24:03.620 He later put out a five-page dissent.
00:24:05.820 It is very much worth reading.
00:24:07.860 He criticized the court, saying that the Supreme Court did not actually have jurisdiction over
00:24:12.680 this case because it was still in the two lower courts, right?
00:24:16.200 And it hadn't gone through that process all the way.
00:24:19.600 So that was one thing that he took issue with.
00:24:22.020 And Alito also took issue with something that had been in the brief from the ACLU.
00:24:26.420 And that was mentioned in the court's decision shortly after midnight.
00:24:30.940 And that is where the ACLU said that they wanted to block the deportations of everyone who's
00:24:36.220 part of this putative class.
00:24:38.580 And Alito said, what class?
00:24:40.760 What are you talking about?
00:24:42.280 The ACLU's goal is to create a, to take all illegal immigrants who may be subject to the 0.96
00:24:49.100 Alien Enemies Act, refer to them as a single class, and then attempt to bring national cases.
00:24:55.480 Because per the Supreme Court's April 7th ruling, I believe it was April 7th, the cases cannot
00:25:01.960 be brought to block deportations except in the districts where the detainees are held.
00:25:08.200 And that's just a lot of running around for the ACLU, which used to protect American civil
00:25:13.220 liberties and now clearly does not.
00:25:15.320 That's a lot of running around for them.
00:25:17.000 And they want to bring a bunch of national cases.
00:25:19.220 That's my understanding of that situation.
00:25:21.460 Alito doesn't like any of it.
00:25:22.660 He says the court doesn't have jurisdiction and these people are not part of a class.
00:25:28.580 And Trump was back to Alito today.
00:25:30.840 And he's right.
00:25:31.340 Yeah, sorry.
00:25:32.860 No, no, no.
00:25:33.500 With President Trump's truth coming out.
00:25:35.560 And by the way, I want everybody out there.
00:25:38.060 So if you want to get into this and if you want to have this discussion, because we do
00:25:41.860 need to have this discussion because this, that's Alito.
00:25:45.220 That's clearly the correct take from a legal perspective.
00:25:48.680 But walk it back to the constitutional perspective here for a second as well, because these are
00:25:53.960 constitutional issues.
00:25:55.380 And I think that's exactly where Alito is putting his finger here to say, wait a minute,
00:26:00.920 hold on.
00:26:02.060 You know, we can sit there and say, oh, you know, we're we're the judicial branch and
00:26:06.520 we get to criticize the executive.
00:26:08.180 And yet at the same time, we need to hold ourselves to the same standard.
00:26:12.860 We can't say the executive is violating the wall, the law, while we ourselves are violating
00:26:17.740 the law and violating our own procedures by not even waiting for lower courts to weigh
00:26:22.720 in.
00:26:23.300 But at the same time, when it comes down to it, this this is the it's a political question
00:26:29.300 as well as a legal question and a constitutional question.
00:26:32.200 So send us your emails.
00:26:33.880 The email is 1776 at humanevents.com, 1776 at humanevents.com.
00:26:41.160 Is the United States under invasion?
00:26:43.980 And more more to the point, who has the authority to declare an invasion?
00:26:49.060 Now, certainly we know that President Trump declared one with his executive order.
00:26:52.780 I believe it was the day he was inaugurated or if not, then, you know, very close to it.
00:26:56.820 And so that is the legal basis for declaring an invasion under the Constitution.
00:27:03.560 That is national security.
00:27:06.000 That is directly on defense of the nation is directed under the Constitution.
00:27:09.480 As I read before, under Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution, it is that the federal
00:27:17.240 government is obligated to protect states against invasion.
00:27:21.800 And then, of course, when it comes to Congress, certainly the Congress has the power to declare
00:27:28.800 and fund war.
00:27:30.940 But of course, the president, as we know, has the ability to declare emergencies.
00:27:36.640 And of course, this is why we have a president to begin with.
00:27:39.360 That's why we don't just have a parliamentary system. 0.55
00:27:42.140 We have a president specifically for the cases of national emergencies.
00:27:46.760 And I really want everyone to weigh in on this because, Libby, and you've done a lot of
00:27:51.040 reporting on this as well.
00:27:52.020 You've written op-eds on it as well on humanevents.com because this is the salient question.
00:27:58.840 I really think that when you talk to liberals, they think that we're joking or something when
00:28:04.800 we say the United States is currently under invasion, don't they?
00:28:08.820 Yeah, they do think that.
00:28:10.120 And they talk about, you know, immigration law and we have to be empathetic and all of this
00:28:14.740 stuff.
00:28:15.060 And what they forget is that the border was under control in 2020.
00:28:19.660 The border was, Donald Trump had sealed that up.
00:28:22.960 He'd done a really great job.
00:28:24.560 And that's why he was elected in 2016.
00:28:27.220 And when Joe Biden came into office, his first day in office, he reversed so many of Trump's
00:28:31.720 executive orders, including the ones that had tightened up the border.
00:28:35.040 He flung the doors open wide, said, hey, there's nothing I can do about it.
00:28:38.680 Congress needs to make new laws.
00:28:40.360 He decided not to enforce the existing laws.
00:28:42.900 So did his DHS secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas.
00:28:46.040 You saw some in the GOP try to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas, but he still just served out his
00:28:51.100 term as though he were doing a great job, which obviously he was not.
00:28:54.180 He literally invited the world in in March 2021, while the administration said, yeah, the
00:28:59.320 border's secure.
00:29:00.020 There's nothing we can do about it.
00:29:01.280 You know, they facilitated this invasion.
00:29:03.860 They didn't pay any attention to the existing laws.
00:29:05.900 And now when the Democrats are saying, oh, rule of law, this and that, right?
00:29:10.380 I mean, I get it.
00:29:11.740 Checks and balances.
00:29:13.000 I'm all in favor of that.
00:29:14.480 But you spent four years flouting immigration law.
00:29:17.380 And now you want to now you want to beg mercy at the court.
00:29:20.860 Is that is that seriously your jam?
00:29:22.900 That's what you're doing.
00:29:24.180 Where were the judges for four years?
00:29:26.680 Where were the Democrats for four years saying, hey, Biden's breaking the law over here.
00:29:30.920 He's allowing a border invasion.
00:29:32.600 There's a huge border crisis, which you and I reported on this whole time.
00:29:37.120 Let's put a stop to it.
00:29:38.600 But they didn't care because they wanted this to happen.
00:29:41.620 That's the only conclusion that you can come to is that they wanted this to happen.
00:29:44.960 And now that all these people are in the United States, their goal is to keep them here forever. 1.00
00:29:49.300 That's why they have multiple different varying kinds of semi-legal statuses for these people.
00:29:56.460 Refugees, asylum seekers, temporary legal status, legal protection, whatever it is, temporary
00:30:01.320 protected status.
00:30:02.600 Because their goal is to keep them here forever.
00:30:04.820 Chuck Schumer has said it.
00:30:06.200 AOC has said it.
00:30:07.700 Jasmine Crockett has said it.
00:30:09.560 You know, that's what they want.
00:30:11.480 This is what they want.
00:30:12.840 They don't want to let any of them go.
00:30:14.940 They facilitated the invasion. 0.72
00:30:16.540 They ignored the laws.
00:30:17.680 And now they want to keep everyone here.
00:30:21.120 It's so simple.
00:30:22.400 It's so simple when you look at it.
00:30:24.080 And, you know, I really do think that this is what this is also one of those issues where
00:30:28.300 and Brian Glenn was on earlier in the show and he was talking about how they've stopped
00:30:32.560 talking about Maryland, man, all of a sudden.
00:30:35.120 And by the way, Post Millennial has a story up.
00:30:37.300 I believe that you guys put out this morning talking about a Maryland woman who was found
00:30:42.960 murdered by an illegal alien just a few miles away from Abrego Garcia, where he was picked
00:30:48.360 up.
00:30:48.600 Is that right?
00:30:49.020 Yeah, that's right.
00:30:51.540 This this story is not going to end of gang members murdering American women.
00:30:56.760 That's not going to stop happening.
00:30:58.580 And that's not going to stop happening just because Democrats are going down to El Salvador
00:31:02.560 and, as you were saying before, handcuffing themselves to this prison.
00:31:06.240 We're going to see more gang members killing more Americans. 0.92
00:31:10.500 That's what they're doing. 0.98
00:31:11.560 That's that's that's their goal.
00:31:13.260 These are violent people who should be in prison.
00:31:15.580 They should not be in our country.
00:31:16.840 And if El Salvador is willing to house them so that we don't have to have them, you know, 0.98
00:31:21.140 recruiting more gang members into in while they're in American prison, then that's great.
00:31:26.820 More power to naïve bucle. 0.93
00:31:29.940 No, we should.
00:31:31.320 And by the way, El Presidente, I saw was kind of making fun of some of the congressmen who
00:31:36.060 came down originally that are there right now.
00:31:39.440 And so this is a huge issue for us, though.
00:31:42.160 It's a fantastic issue in the true sense of the word fantastical, because these issues
00:31:49.220 have been so completely adjudicated on the right side of, you know, sort of the new media
00:31:56.980 sphere.
00:31:57.560 But in old media, with the exception of, you know, like Fox, nobody talks about this.
00:32:02.940 No one talks about the murders.
00:32:04.280 They cut away when President Trump talks about Rachel Moran.
00:32:07.380 The broadcasts don't pick it.
00:32:08.720 Broadcast news doesn't pick it up.
00:32:09.940 None of them pick it up.
00:32:11.080 And so they sit there and they act like all of this is President Trump just making it up.
00:32:16.140 And by the way, they've been doing this for 10 years from when President Trump first came
00:32:22.940 down the golden escalator and made his entire speech entering politics about, by the way,
00:32:30.300 the murder, the sexual assault and rape of women on the southern border by these types
00:32:38.720 of organizations.
00:32:39.920 He's been the only one to talk about this from day one.
00:32:43.760 And they immediately started slandering him from day one as well.
00:32:48.500 Final minute to you, Libby Emmons.
00:32:50.620 Yeah, you're exactly right.
00:32:52.140 That is what's going on.
00:32:53.200 They don't care.
00:32:53.960 They don't care that these people are criminals.
00:32:55.680 And I didn't believe it at first when President Trump said they're opening their prisons and
00:33:00.100 sending everyone across the border.
00:33:01.520 But it turns out that was true.
00:33:03.020 That is what was going on.
00:33:04.720 That was the goal of these other governments, destabilize the United States by sending the 1.00
00:33:08.680 worst possible people into the United States by having them illegally across the border.
00:33:13.120 And we know that these gangs, Trendy Aragua, MS-13, whoever else, the cartels that are
00:33:18.160 out there, they don't care about women except for as much as they can sell women for across 0.98
00:33:22.540 the border.
00:33:23.360 And what we have with this open border situation, we have had child sex trafficking.
00:33:28.300 This is a horror.
00:33:29.260 And this is what Joe Biden was advocating for.
00:33:32.120 And they couch it all.
00:33:33.380 Democrats couch this in terms of empathy, right?
00:33:36.320 You have to be kind.
00:33:37.200 You have to be open.
00:33:38.460 No one cares, however, about empathy for the children who are trafficked.
00:33:42.380 No one cares about the women who are murdered.
00:33:43.900 And certainly none of them care about empathy for the American people.
00:33:47.200 Go follow the great Libby Emmons of the post-millennial and human events.
00:33:53.760 I'm Jack Posobiec, and we'll be right back with, I promise, a little bit of a lighter segment.
00:33:58.740 Stay tuned.
00:34:08.900 Jack is a great guy.
00:34:10.440 He's written that fantastic book.
00:34:12.140 Everybody's talking about it.
00:34:13.320 Go get it.
00:34:13.880 And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
00:34:18.420 And we're going to turn it around and make our country great to get to you.
00:34:21.640 Amen.
00:34:23.400 All right.
00:34:23.960 It's time for the nightcap now.
00:34:25.300 President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump kicked off the annual White House Easter egg
00:34:31.020 roll this morning.
00:34:32.020 Yeah.
00:34:32.240 And there was plenty for kids to enjoy.
00:34:34.700 A chance to play soccer.
00:34:35.920 You had a hunt for Easter eggs, of course.
00:34:38.020 And a stage for lots of live music.
00:34:40.500 Cookie decorating station, egg decorating station, of course, that egg roll.
00:34:45.040 And we asked a few of the children there what they enjoyed the most.
00:34:48.420 Cookie making.
00:34:49.640 Yeah.
00:34:50.000 Yeah, that was really fun.
00:34:51.720 Probably the egg roll and seeing Trump.
00:34:56.240 All right.
00:34:58.040 In a break with tradition, many of the activities today had corporate sponsors.
00:35:02.240 As for the eggs, here's that number we promised you.
00:35:05.060 There were 30,000 eggs used today.
00:35:07.720 All size, small to medium.
00:35:10.000 No large eggs were used, by the way, according to the White House.
00:35:12.780 All right.
00:35:13.100 Jack Posobiec here.
00:35:14.200 We are back human events daily.
00:35:17.660 And as I promised in the previous segment, I wanted to play a nicer, you know, a little
00:35:24.180 bit more family friendly kind of segment for you here.
00:35:27.160 So it is Easter week, by the way.
00:35:29.360 And yesterday, my family and I were really blessed.
00:35:32.800 God is good to have the opportunity to go to the White House and, yes, attend the Easter
00:35:41.440 egg roll.
00:35:43.380 So I wanted to play some footage of that for everybody.
00:35:47.800 We had some cool moments.
00:35:50.520 We had a really great time while we were there.
00:35:53.340 The kids got to do an egg roll.
00:35:55.520 You know, people have seen these videos of the presidents and Kennedy and others getting
00:36:01.560 to do egg rolls for years in the past.
00:36:05.420 And this was the first time that we had our kids actually attending the egg roll.
00:36:10.080 And as it turns out, this is not the first time that I've taken my two boys to the White 0.56
00:36:16.800 House.
00:36:17.380 So believe it or not, well, put it this way.
00:36:20.120 It's the first time we've been there in a minute.
00:36:22.240 So our second son, AJ, just a little bit of a personal story, I guess.
00:36:29.160 He was born on December 3rd, 2020.
00:36:34.620 So COVID baby, to be sure, grew up during the lockdowns.
00:36:39.420 And of course, we did everything we could to get him out, have him be about and do as
00:36:44.820 much as he could outside in the world.
00:36:46.940 And one of those things that we were able to do, so born after the 2020 election, but before
00:36:54.920 President Trump left office in 2020.
00:36:58.820 And so we were able to take him when he was just 10 days old to the White House when he
00:37:08.340 was 10 days old, along with my older son and my parents and my wife, Tanya Tay.
00:37:13.000 And it was just incredible, you know, taking him there.
00:37:16.340 He said, look, you know, we know President Trump will be back.
00:37:19.940 We don't know exactly when that will be, but we wanted to get him in while we could.
00:37:25.120 So we actually took him.
00:37:26.580 That's the little boy.
00:37:27.960 And, you know, for those of you guys listening on the radio, it's a picture of me throwing
00:37:32.460 him up and he's got this huge, jolly laugh on his face, you know, throwing him up at
00:37:37.260 the White House.
00:37:38.000 This is the second time there, but probably the first one that he'll remember because the
00:37:42.080 first time he was there, he was just 10 days old.
00:37:44.940 And it was a really interesting, you know, obviously it was a very chaotic time for everyone,
00:37:52.420 for our country.
00:37:53.300 We wanted to know what was going on in Washington, D.C.
00:37:55.620 So for us to be able to have, just as a family, you know, a situation like this where we could
00:38:01.060 go in after all the, all that, all that chaos of 2020 and now be able to come back and realize
00:38:08.200 that America is finally on the right foot going forward.
00:38:12.820 Really amazing.
00:38:13.640 So huge shout out to the administration.
00:38:16.320 Thank you so much for having the Poso family and having us there on this incredible Easter
00:38:23.120 Monday.
00:38:23.540 They also got to come up and the way they have it set up there, but it's huge, by the
00:38:29.020 way, the Easter egg roll.
00:38:30.180 I don't know if people, and if you ever do have the ability to be in D.C. for this and
00:38:34.180 you go through the lottery and you get the tickets, it is, there's a lot.
00:38:38.520 There's so much to do there.
00:38:39.940 So honestly, I'm just going to say it.
00:38:41.700 We did not book enough time for this.
00:38:43.880 We thought we were only going to be there for like two hours.
00:38:46.480 Honestly, two hours was not enough.
00:38:48.240 We probably could have been there for three hours, four hours, five hours.
00:38:52.900 Some people made a whole day of it.
00:38:54.120 I could see people sort of turning into like a picnic-like atmosphere and they do want you
00:38:58.300 to move along, but you know, there was so much to do in terms of the tents, in terms of
00:39:01.700 the activities.
00:39:02.860 And so I definitely did not budget enough time for that in the family day.
00:39:07.980 So going forward next time, we're going to be able to do that.
00:39:13.140 And yeah, definitely going to go for a little bit longer time.
00:39:15.680 Also, the way they have it set up, you get to, you get to walk up and you're basically
00:39:20.660 right outside the Oval Office.
00:39:22.420 And so we were looking inside and I was like, we see anyone, see any, do you see any, any
00:39:26.480 golden hair walking by the window there?
00:39:29.420 And we couldn't, couldn't see any while we were walking by.
00:39:32.200 I thought for a second, maybe I saw some.
00:39:34.400 And I told the, but I told the boys, I said, that's where President Trump works every day.
00:39:39.040 And you know what he's working hard to do?
00:39:40.580 And they said, what does he do?
00:39:41.480 And I said, to make America great again.
00:39:44.280 So that's where President Trump is working hard for us every single day to make our
00:39:49.620 country great again.
00:39:51.200 And they were so happy to be there and so happy to take part in that.
00:39:55.020 And of course, Tanya Tay was happy.
00:39:56.640 And when Tanya Tay is happy, everyone's happy.
00:39:58.980 If you know what I'm talking about, if you know what I'm talking about.
00:40:01.940 So from my family to all of yours, happy Easter, make it a blessed Easter, a blessed year.
00:40:08.000 Christ is King.
00:40:09.340 He is risen.
00:40:10.920 Alleluia.
00:40:11.800 Alleluia.
00:40:12.280 He is risen.
00:40:14.280 This is Jack Posovic for Human Events Daily, reminding you that, ladies and gentlemen,
00:40:18.200 as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
00:40:24.280 We'll be right back.
