This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
00:00:40.700
A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:47.280
This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.
00:00:54.500
I didn't think that Virginia was going to do very well.
00:00:57.120
I didn't think the candidate, well, you know, didn't really have my support.
00:01:01.100
The Cuomo situation, it's just, he had too many, too many things against him.
00:01:06.780
I'm so torn because I would like to see the new mayor do well because I love New York.
00:01:12.300
For a thousand years, communism has not worked.
00:01:14.760
It's just, communism or the concept of communism has not worked.
00:01:21.420
Thousands of flights here in the U.S. are about to be canceled.
00:01:25.440
The longest shutdown in U.S. history, breaking the record set during the first Trump administration.
00:01:30.200
Because of air traffic controllers not getting paid, air traffic now will be reduced by 10%
00:01:38.760
As of today, the government shutdown is now the longest in U.S. history.
00:01:43.800
Several senators are tentatively predicting it could end soon.
00:01:47.560
I'm optimistic that we should be able to do something done.
00:01:51.060
Multiple sources say a possible deal between senators is being negotiated.
00:01:55.860
It involves some kind of stopgap funding bill and a promise to vote later on rising Obamacare subsidies.
00:02:05.560
But two sources say about a dozen Democratic senators have privately signaled an openness to such a plan.
00:02:12.080
If Republicans agree, that would be enough votes for the chamber to pass the bill.
00:02:19.860
He's very sweet, but what do you say to someone whose husband just was assassinated so publicly?
00:02:25.060
He said, you know, I've been doing this for 30-some years.
00:02:27.680
He said, I will never tell you that you cannot see your husband.
00:02:34.500
He said, but I, in my professional opinion, think that you should wait to see him once he's at the mortuary.
00:02:44.480
Because I don't think you want to see him like this.
00:02:49.420
And the room got quiet because half the room knew it's probably a good idea.
00:02:54.300
And the other half of the room was like, there is no way she's listening to you right now.
00:02:58.080
And I responded back to him and I said, with all due respect, sir.
00:03:06.820
I said, I want to see what they did to my husband.
00:03:11.880
And I want to give him a kiss because I didn't get to give him a kiss this morning.
00:03:18.800
Today's edition of Human Events Daily here live on Real America's Voice.
00:03:28.380
You just saw there Erica Kirk giving her first sit-down interview
00:03:32.180
since the murder of her husband by a crazed leftist.
00:03:37.140
And incredible interview, heart-wrenching, a gut punch, many, many gut punches throughout the entire interview,
00:03:50.140
And perhaps the most newsworthy section of it that came out was when Jesse Waters asked her
00:03:56.640
whether or not she supported this ban on cameras in the courtroom.
00:04:01.900
And as you know, here on Human Events Daily, we issued a letter to the courtroom
00:04:10.840
Erica herself also came out in opposition to the ban.
00:04:21.880
And so I wanted to get on a panel to kind of discuss some of the ins and outs of this.
00:04:27.440
So we are joined, we're honored to be joined by two illustrious guests today.
00:04:32.500
We've got Libby Emmons, the editor-in-chief of Human Events and the Post Millennial.
00:04:40.480
And of course, Stephen Gardner, The Stephen Gardner Show.
00:04:45.340
Well, Libby, just right off the bat, you were such a driving force behind that issue
00:04:54.700
How important is it that Erica came out in favor of this?
00:04:59.920
I was really glad to see her take that position.
00:05:03.120
She had a similar view that we had at Human Events,
00:05:06.420
which is that the assassination of Charlie Kirk was public.
00:05:12.560
And I think the justice in the wake of that assassination should be public as well.
00:05:17.920
The trial of the suspected killer should be public.
00:05:21.160
The entire process of this trial should be transparent
00:05:27.460
and no question as to whether or not justice was served.
00:05:34.500
Stephen, I know you've gone to the UVU campus itself.
00:05:38.880
I know you've done some great videos and have worked with people as well on the ground there
00:05:46.920
What's your sense of this going into the trial?
00:05:49.380
Because I know there's, you know, been questions.
00:05:54.860
And Erica herself got asked last night, do you think they got the right guy?
00:06:05.440
What's your sense of this as it goes to, and we don't have a trial date yet,
00:06:08.960
but I believe the next hearing is set for January.
00:06:11.540
Yeah, so my understanding is based on recent court documents
00:06:16.200
where Tyler Robinson's legal team was involved, they have a very strong case.
00:06:23.300
There is an entire folder full of evidence from geofencing to his car
00:06:29.240
to DNA on the roof, on the gun, on a screwdriver.
00:06:34.580
So there's a lot that the defense is going to have to overcome.
00:06:38.400
At the same time, I can see how an attorney who is advocating on behalf of their client
00:06:47.440
wants to put as much in their favor as possible,
00:06:50.940
getting them out of the suicide vest, having them come in in regular clothing.
00:06:55.680
But as Erica Kirk said, he was assassinated in public.
00:07:04.940
There's already so much doubt around whether the FBI is doing enough,
00:07:12.580
whether the Utah County Attorney General is doing enough.
00:07:18.160
and we will be able to decide whether enough is being done.
00:07:21.340
But lots of trial data and evidence has been handed over in discovery.
00:07:28.160
We're going to learn a lot more starting around January 16th.
00:07:34.540
And yeah, I just pulled it up as you were chatting.
00:07:36.340
So it's January 16th is the next preliminary hearing,
00:07:41.880
So we're already pushed out two months into next year.
00:07:45.180
Libby, I want to get you back in on this because there was a clip of me.
00:07:48.000
So I was on the Charlie Kirk show the other day,
00:07:49.900
and I was having a discussion about how I, you know, just as a father,
00:07:54.780
how incredible it was to see and just, just, just, you know,
00:08:00.920
almost unbelievable it was to see Tyler Robinson's parents play a role in turning over their son.
00:08:14.580
That, you know, that, you know, somebody else turned him in.
00:08:17.580
And, you know, I, I went back and pulled up the affidavit and it's got his mother.
00:08:21.720
That's Amber Denise Robinson, his father, Matt Robinson.
00:08:25.780
Obviously the, you see the two younger brothers there,
00:08:30.000
But in the affidavit, it's very clear that the parents were the ones that first identified him
00:08:36.980
and then reached out to a friend of theirs who is retired law enforcement.
00:08:44.000
Why are people, you know, do, do, do people think that they,
00:08:49.980
I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm kind of at a loss here or, or what the implications of this would be.
00:08:54.100
Yeah, I find that really surprising too, that anyone would push back on that.
00:08:58.400
In the days after Charlie was killed, there was a manhunt.
00:09:02.920
The FBI had to decide whether or not they wanted to release the surveillance footage.
00:09:09.000
And after they released that footage, Robinson's parents recognized their son in that footage,
00:09:18.880
Robinson saying that he wasn't answering the phone of his father,
00:09:22.840
that he wasn't wanting to talk to them, but it's all in the affidavit.
00:09:26.860
And not only is it in the affidavit, if you go back to the press conference that was had,
00:09:31.340
the sheriff of Washington County in Utah explained all of this and discussed it at length and took
00:09:39.420
It was right there publicly on camera, on TV, like this entire thing has been from the start.
00:09:45.300
And part of the, you know, the parents recognized him.
00:09:50.680
I'm sure they didn't want to believe that this was their son, but they did believe it.
00:09:55.960
He came over and talked to them and indicated that he had been the one who was responsible
00:10:04.780
You don't want to recognize your child as a killer, but parents will recognize their children.
00:10:11.780
Um, so obviously, um, they, you know, they didn't want this to be true.
00:10:16.980
It turned out to be true and they dealt with it in the way that the person probably should
00:10:26.380
I get them to turn themselves in is what happened.
00:10:34.260
Steven, you know, you've read over this as well.
00:10:37.080
And, and I remember at the first, there were questions, the parents reached out to a family
00:10:42.600
friend of theirs that they knew through a church group.
00:10:45.240
Turned out that he was also retired law enforcement.
00:10:49.540
Um, is that your understanding of what went down when it came to the identification?
00:10:54.040
Yeah, my understanding is the FBI was very reluctant to release any video footage or photos.
00:11:04.540
And so they made the decision to release a couple of photos of his body, uh, of his face
00:11:11.480
and of him, uh, after taking the shot running and, and jumping off the roof.
00:11:17.680
And, you know, you can say whatever you want, but that footage is what triggered the mom
00:11:23.740
to call the dad and say, Hey, are you seeing this?
00:11:26.480
This looks like our son and the, uh, father confirming.
00:11:33.040
Uh, you know, there was some confusion because as soon as his photo was released, people started
00:11:39.500
trying to use AI to enhance or sharpen the photo.
00:11:43.680
And so the fake AI photo of Tyler Robinson started circulating just as quickly as the real
00:11:50.940
But as Libby mentioned, a mom and a dad, they're going to know their son.
00:11:56.840
They also identified, Hey, I think I remember washing that American flag, uh, shirt.
00:12:02.840
And then now we've got video footage of him being pulled over where he's wearing a very
00:12:10.520
He uses, uh, some of the language inside of the, uh, text messages that people are doubting.
00:12:17.460
Um, so yeah, I, I believe the story about his mom and dad.
00:12:21.020
Pause it right there because I want to get back on this.
00:12:24.080
Now it's time for everyone to understand what America first truly means.
00:12:40.320
All right, Jack, we're back live here, human events, daily real America's voice folks.
00:12:47.980
Did you know that in the last six weeks, 86 million AT and T users had their name, address
00:12:54.620
and social security numbers leaked, or that the CCP is harvesting massive volumes of Americans
00:13:00.260
personal data to train deep seek and other AI systems.
00:13:03.960
When you are online doing the work like I am, you need digital camouflage.
00:13:07.880
And that's why I've partnered with our newest show sponsor, Patriot protect, Patriot protect
00:13:13.920

00:13:52.160
That's Patriot dash protect.com slash Poso and use promo code Poso again, 15% off a yearly
00:14:02.240
So I'm going to throw it back now to Steven Gardner, Steven, you were talking about the
00:14:07.000
the evidence that's going to come through here.
00:14:08.800
And to be clear, all of the evidence is going to present be presented at trial.
00:14:14.120
That's why we at human events have been pushing so hard that the cameras stay rolling.
00:14:19.280
And I'm just overjoyed at the fact and that Erica is backing this obviously as horrible the
00:14:25.020
situation it is, but her, her voice lending, uh, lending itself to this is obviously going
00:14:30.540
to be a big push, but Steven, the, the point here is of course that these statements being
00:14:35.440
made in the affidavit, they're not just, uh, being made, you know, haphazardly they're
00:14:39.700
meant to be backed up in court by hard evidence.
00:14:44.300
Everything that is being talked about by you, me, Libby, others, it's all going to be under
00:14:53.040
We're talking about the best of the best lawyers are going to clash on, uh, their experts trying
00:15:03.200
And this is one of the reasons why the court date was pushed back to January 16th.
00:15:08.680
Tyler Robinson's defense attorney, she said, there is such an abundance of evidence that
00:15:14.840
we're simply not prepared at this point to, to make a strong defense.
00:15:19.060
So, uh, I, I think that there is a lot that they're going to be up against, uh, we're going
00:15:24.680
to find out even more about the parents and the story.
00:15:28.120
All of these details are going to come out in trial.
00:15:35.420
Now, you know, Libby, when, when you look at this and I know, obviously you've written
00:15:43.580
And while the shooter himself in this case, uh, you know, alleged shooter was not trans,
00:15:50.180
his boyfriend was, um, you know, Libby, do you see this as the next in a long line of
00:16:00.820
Well, there has been a long line of transgender related violence.
00:16:06.080
There's been a number of trans individuals who have committed shoot school shootings,
00:16:10.700
both, um, male and females who have undertaken that.
00:16:14.120
And I do think that, uh, deciding that you're that out of touch with reality, that you don't
00:16:19.040
even recognize your own body and self for who you are and what it is, is, um, you know,
00:16:27.880
The evidence about the, um, the boyfriend has been pretty interesting.
00:16:32.880
There's been some, uh, blogs and stuff that have posted discord messages and text messages
00:16:38.400
and other exchanges about what was going on in the home that they shared that Lance Twiggs
00:16:45.900
And it does seem like it was a pretty bizarre relationship that they had going.
00:16:50.160
This roommate Lance Twiggs was apparently, um, alcoholic and using a lot of drugs, creating
00:16:57.160
nests in the living room, um, lashing out at people and seems to be substantially pretty
00:17:03.820
And if he was giving both masculine and feminine energy, that's a, definitely a recipe for intense
00:17:11.360
manipulation to be going on in this relationship.
00:17:14.440
Um, so yeah, I think that trans is hopefully on the decline because it is something that
00:17:23.640
It's been a big trend and statistics have shown that perhaps that might be starting to decline.
00:17:29.180
I think the Trump administration has perhaps something to do with that too, in terms of
00:17:33.620
regulating whether or not these kinds of medications are allowed.
00:17:37.140
Um, but yeah, I think that it's definitely concerning to see leftists with their own leftist ideology.
00:17:44.600
And then when you mix it up with a rejection of reality, you have real problems.
00:17:52.180
Now, uh, what, what more, what key piece, because I know you've been digging so much on
00:18:00.200
Is there any, uh, sort of, um, you know, sort of skeleton key or missing link that you think
00:18:06.440
that's out there that you're going to be looking for at this trial?
00:18:09.220
Now, according to, uh, the, the court hearing in late October, the, the evidence that they
00:18:15.640
have against him lines up his cell phone data, geo tracking to the UVU video footage, uh, that
00:18:27.340
I mean, I see dozens and dozens of influencers saying, just give us the, just give us the tapes.
00:18:33.660
Those are the very tapes that they need in order to tie him to this crime and bring justice
00:18:44.160
So at this point, I am just waiting for the court case to start revealing all of the information
00:18:53.960
But, uh, you know, they're going to tie him to the gun.
00:18:56.940
They're going to tie his shoes to the location.
00:19:00.280
They're going to get the gunshot residue off of his hands.
00:19:04.000
And on the steering wheel of his, uh, Dodge charger, they're going to use the geo fencing.
00:19:11.100
They're going to line all of that up when the shots taken there again, as, as his own
00:19:16.760
defense attorney, who's trying to save him from the death penalty said there's such an
00:19:23.000
We're simply not prepared to try this case at this time.
00:19:29.500
That's about all the time we have, uh, Stephen Gardner, go give him a follow.
00:19:33.020
Stephen Gardner show, Libby Emmons, human events, post-millennial.
00:19:36.060
And yes, if there's any other video images, footage, data, let's get it all.
00:19:42.480
And that's exactly what I'm going to be looking for at this trial.
00:19:46.700
Be right back with special guest human events daily.
