00:00:03.440 Homeowners Tony and Janet needed to consolidate their debt.
00:00:06.720 They called Alpine Credits.
00:00:08.740 In a flash, an Alpine Credits superhero appeared in their kitchen.
00:00:13.120 Using telekinesis, she consolidated their debt into one low monthly payment.
00:00:17.920 She then used her powers to make the dirty dishes disappear forever. 0.91

00:00:37.420 We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
00:00:41.400 And I'm Lisa DiGiulio, the old one,
00:00:43.740 which means we have wildly different references,
00:00:46.000 occasionally different opinions.
00:00:47.240 And at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
00:00:50.080 Now in my 30s, being the founder of New Shoes,
00:00:52.880 Good Taste is my business.
00:00:55.300 Listen on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts,
00:00:58.200 or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:01:15.240 What?
00:01:15.700 I could talk to you for an hour.
00:01:17.240 You're a generational yapper, like me.
00:01:19.240 That's why I had to make yapping a job.
00:01:21.000 And now you can catch full episodes of my show on YouTube.
00:01:24.520 Start listening to Scam Goddess on the iHeartRadio app,

00:01:51.460 Does the Pope dress up?
00:01:52.780 He winks on Halloween.
00:01:55.080 He gets right up next to the microphone.
00:01:56.340 I hear you can almost hear the eyelashes hit each other.
00:01:59.740 You've never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween.

00:02:12.760 But also, is this like a weird flex?
00:02:14.920 Like, you're like, I got 3.2 million in spending power.
00:02:17.800 So I had 3.2 million when I was, I think, 19 or 20.
00:02:20.700 I have 30 million.
00:02:21.440 All right. 1.00
00:02:22.220 So that's a shit ton of crap. 1.00
00:02:29.740 I'll tell you this in real life 1.00
00:02:32.940 Did you hear how he was stopped?
00:02:34.580 No 0.99
00:02:34.820 Some guy took a narwhal tusk
00:02:39.040 Narwhal tusk
00:02:39.540 Yes
00:02:40.560 Off the shelf of a restaurant
00:02:42.160 No way
00:02:42.960 Yeah
00:02:43.300 And went to stop the stabber
00:02:44.320 This is real
00:02:44.900 Are you guys like
00:02:45.860 I'm serious
00:02:46.580 A mix between
00:02:47.340 Jeff
00:02:48.820 I'm serious
00:02:49.560 He just smashed out a window
00:02:50.440 And just like grabbed it off
00:02:51.840 No it was the owner of his restaurant
00:02:53.380 He was a chef 0.97
00:02:53.920 He had a narwhal horn
00:02:55.760 And a fire extinguisher
00:02:57.240 Another guy had a fire extinguisher 0.73
00:02:58.280 Sprayed the dude 0.99
00:02:59.200 While the other dude stabbed him with a narwhal arm
00:03:01.260 And the cops came through and they're like 0.98
00:03:03.040 He's not done
00:03:03.820 So he got narwhalled fire extinguished 0.99
00:03:07.480 And shot 0.59
00:03:08.240 Bro that's why you just don't do anything bad
00:03:10.480 And ready for this
00:03:11.540 He was in jail
00:03:15.340 For 8 years 1.00
00:03:17.140 Because of his ISIS ties 0.98
00:03:19.020 And he tried to start a terrorism camp 0.65
00:03:21.080 But in Britain when you go to jail for terrorism
00:03:23.140 You don't just get
00:03:23.820 You get let out after 8 years
00:03:25.820 And they're like yeah I'll be good
00:03:26.780 yeah he's chill
00:03:27.720 he's fine
00:03:28.200 he'll be over there
00:03:29.500 that was 8 years ago 1.00
00:03:30.340 fuck you 1.00
00:03:30.760 they let him out 1.00
00:03:31.780 and he just went 0.99

00:03:34.480 they lock your ass up 1.00
00:03:35.340 they throw the key 1.00
00:03:35.920 into the toilet
00:03:36.580 that toilet 1.00
00:03:37.360 damn 1.00
00:03:37.780 it doesn't flush 0.99
00:03:38.420 yeah dude
00:03:39.260 I try to stay out
00:03:40.140 of this stuff
00:03:40.640 anymore
00:03:41.700 I feel like it's so common
00:03:42.760 I just don't even want
00:03:43.660 that negativity
00:03:44.320 in my dome
00:03:45.560 it is so common
00:03:46.400 I hate it
00:03:47.000 it's weird
00:03:47.780 it's weird
00:03:48.480 we're in a weird place
00:03:49.200 but dude you'll get
00:03:49.920 narwhalled
00:03:50.440 that's the moral of the story
00:03:52.380 that's true
00:03:52.880 should I open the show
00:03:53.800 on that note
00:03:54.760 I feel like you can
00:03:56.180 Us just talking about shows
00:03:58.640 Let me know when you're done
00:04:01.540 He seems done
00:04:03.980 He looks like it
00:04:05.020 I'm not finished
00:04:07.760 Hold on
00:04:08.120 Okay I'm done
00:04:09.600 I like that on his own terms
00:04:12.720 I can't do this
00:04:13.880 I can't bro
00:04:15.200 I can't do this
00:04:16.240 You know what just do it man
00:04:17.440 Come on
00:04:18.660 You got nothing to lose
00:04:20.220 I just don't know if that
00:04:21.980 I have no headphones 0.99
00:04:23.820 I have no fucking headphones 1.00
00:04:26.160 Headphones! I looked at it and I was there! 0.99
00:04:29.360 Can we get headphones for our co-host, Mike?
00:04:31.700 It's impossible, bro!
00:04:34.920 That's tricky.
00:04:36.320 Yeah, we've been having technical difficulties all season.
00:04:39.360 You could use that. You could use the cord.
00:04:42.080 Can you hear it?
00:04:42.800 I'm good to go. Start it.
00:04:44.020 Alright, guys. Welcome back to Impulse.
00:04:45.580 It's the number one podcast in the world.

00:04:51.160 If you're not subscribed, hit that subscribe button.
00:04:54.260 Today's episode is going to be another one.
00:04:56.160 that we're doing yeah and uh i'm getting some feedback in these yeah i'm in a mood today
00:05:02.380 and i'll tell you why what's going on um so i'm finally after like 10 days of antibiotics
00:05:09.580 and uh swish and swallow rinse finally feeling better from this sickness yeah and i you know
00:05:17.600 that feeling when your sickness goes away and you're just like like ready to go yeah i got 1.00
00:05:21.240 Girls over here, cat-sitting. 0.99
00:05:23.740 Cow-sitting. 0.98
00:05:25.440 We have neither of those animals.
00:05:27.040 No cows or cats.
00:05:28.360 Simi and Olga are here cat-sitting George's cat.
00:05:31.160 Oh, that's interesting.
00:05:31.760 And, bro, they walked in.
00:05:32.680 They're like, Logan.
00:05:33.640 And instinctually, I just started wrestling them, like throwing them around.
00:05:38.260 And, like, I did a suplex on one, two points.
00:05:41.000 Nice.
00:05:42.500 Made up for the two points in the fight, which, by the way, we're figuring out today if the appeal went through.
00:05:49.900 So during this show, we could figure that out.
00:05:52.040 Nope.
00:05:52.180 Technically.
00:05:52.680 Technically.
00:05:53.320 I mean, he said by end of business, Andy Foster.
00:05:55.760 Wow.
00:05:56.580 You know, so we'll see.
00:05:58.020 Things are happening.
00:05:58.720 You feeling good?
00:05:59.520 Like, I mean, how are you feeling?
00:06:00.780 I mean, you're not sick, so.
00:06:02.860 About the appeal?
00:06:03.500 Yeah, do you feel?
00:06:04.140 I feel like that's a shot in the dark.
00:06:06.480 Ooh, okay.
00:06:07.920 It's kind of like a last minute, like Hail Mary.
00:06:10.040 Yeah.
00:06:10.380 You got like 44 defenders.
00:06:11.600 Hail Mary's work, though.
00:06:11.900 Sometimes it gets swatted around. 0.99
00:06:13.920 Somebody grabs it, and you're like, what the fuck? 0.99
00:06:15.240 We won. 0.99
00:06:15.780 And sometimes the quarterback gets tackled by throwing the Hail Mary and pulls the ACL.
00:06:19.700 and it's out for the rest of his life.
00:06:21.320 Sometimes your career's over, bro.
00:06:23.280 It could be bad.
00:06:25.180 But that's not going to happen.
00:06:27.280 Let's bring on the guest.
00:06:29.160 Wow.
00:06:30.000 He's a good guy.
00:06:31.980 We're rusty, would you say?
00:06:33.360 Is rusty the word?
00:06:34.300 No.
00:06:34.820 No?
00:06:35.640 We just got back from this vacation
00:06:36.860 we're going to talk about on episode
00:06:38.100 The Boys Only.
00:06:39.580 Yeah.
00:06:40.220 It'll actually come out before this one,
00:06:41.800 so you'll have already seen it.
00:06:43.560 Oh. 1.00
00:06:44.240 Just bring the fucking guest on. 1.00
00:06:45.320 Checking out his Instagram, 1.00
00:06:46.220 you might think he's a Den Bilzerian in training.
00:06:48.400 After dropping out of the prestigious Stanford University, he's got more than 240 credit cards with a credit limit that exceeds $3.2 million. 0.96
00:06:58.060 What?
00:06:58.460 He's on a mission to change how the education system is deployed and help you with your finances along the way.
00:07:02.940 Ladies and gentlemen, it's Steven, a.k.a. at Credit on Instagram.
00:07:11.020 Here he is.
00:07:12.020 Teach us the ways.
00:07:13.960 There we go.
00:07:15.040 Get situated, get nice and comfy.
00:07:16.480 do you want me to call you steven or do you want me to call you at credit or just credit
00:07:19.820 are we friends like my friends call me steven oh okay i'll call you steven i'll call you here we go 0.99
00:07:25.040 jesus mother of god can you show your wrist to the camera really quick yeah damn bro you got some 0.97
00:07:29.740 twinkling i see i see probably 25 to 40 000 worth of cartier on your right wrist 0.98
00:07:36.560 and is that uh what is that ap that's an ap an iced out ap is it real yes steven how do you do
00:07:43.460 this man well i mean what's going on because you're you're an interesting character and i
00:07:46.980 actually dm'd you because i figured you could provide an immense amount of value but also
00:07:51.320 pure entertainment because i go on your instagram and so i start at the bottom this is intentional
00:07:56.420 a lot of jets steven a lot of the classics standing on the stairs of jets and then i scroll up and
00:08:02.940 you know there's baby tigers there's uh g-wagons starts to get a little more risky more baby
00:08:07.640 tigers and then the women the women after they see the jets i notice along the timeline started
00:08:12.780 coming in and then the butts this is the classic timeline of the successful young this is the
00:08:17.500 exact reverse order of my instagram i started on the butts and now i'm working towards the jets
00:08:22.760 incredible so so the butts and you know what's going on in that top that this was my favorite
00:08:29.460 is that a stop and frisk good god's name is happening so steven you got what is this a
00:08:36.080 is that a ferrari that's it's a lamborghini outside the ritz carlton and two two two butts
00:08:41.900 how do i get a lamborghini outside the ritz carlton and two butts
00:08:45.620 is that your lambo whose is it oh yeah yeah it's in vegas now but i don't even know where
00:08:53.920 to start with this dude suki dayu is not happy about this picture you use girls around you for 0.82
00:08:58.180 pictures like this you disgust me it's like at the end of the comment she went down a water slide
00:09:05.440 i wanted to ask about this because you're you're a businessman yep and your your claim to fame not
00:09:15.480 claim to fame you're you're you've become this like credit guru this credit mogul i want to ask
00:09:19.600 you about this but also this this lifestyle that you're now living and if they do indeed go hand
00:09:24.120 in hand so i do the lifestyle because guys like flock to it right like you're never gonna just
00:09:30.640 like look at some old guy behind a computer talking about accounting or credit cards like
00:09:34.800 no one's gonna click on that and my whole goal is to get people aware of credit right like you
00:09:39.900 never learn about credit cards in school you never learn a lot of things in school yep so
00:09:43.300 when you see stuff like this you're like all right this cop this kid's like you know short
00:09:47.560 asian kid but how's he doing all this and so it makes you like interested and you clicked you
00:09:52.040 obviously clicked right you're like oh shit yeah so it gives me a platform to actually like tell 0.59
00:09:56.700 people about credit like i'll post probably like two or three times a month something different 0.86
00:10:01.700 than like just the standard like girls and cars which is like oh like did you learn about how to
00:10:06.880 file taxes in school did you learn about credit cards in school did you learn what to do if you 0.98
00:10:10.320 get pulled over in school like all this crazy shit that you didn't learn that's my ultimate 0.97
00:10:14.160 goal is to make people aware and did i i saw you do a lot of that on your story um is that where 0.99
00:10:19.580 most of the actual like extreme value comes in yeah because i saw i saw one story just one day
00:10:24.020 i clicked through and it was like a very detailed breakdown of how to get like free flights yeah
00:10:29.320 like a very detailed if i had like five minutes i totally would have read it and also i don't know
00:10:34.560 and i can't read but um uh where did you learn everything you've learned about credit because
00:10:43.720 you're telling me and it's facts that they just don't teach in school so how did you as a young
00:10:47.640 man get this information so it's a mixture between google and trial and error and i truly 110 believe
00:10:53.340 that if you want to learn anything all you need is google trial and error and a mentor you don't
00:10:58.720 need school to learn like i think school and education is two separate things i think the
00:11:02.320 school is trying to educate people and education is like i think most people on the day they exit
00:11:08.160 12th grade or the day they exit college is the last day they learn it's the last day they learn
00:11:13.860 unless they get a job and then they learn on their job but most people don't have a desire to learn
00:11:18.640 and that's what we should be teaching kids so like i learned credit cards just by googling like
00:11:23.180 it started off with like um i took a flight on frontier i took my first flight i ever took in
00:11:27.960 my life was when i was 18 i took a flight on frontier this girl i have no idea who she is
00:11:32.400 like replied i was like wow you still fly economy so like it hit me i was like oh wow it was my
00:11:38.120 first flight so i was excited like still it's my first flight it's my first flight commercial
00:11:43.220 chill out it's good so i i was like well this is not cool and like it was just like a little fire
00:11:50.340 like sometimes like hate like makes you like want to activate you yeah so so i was like okay well
00:11:55.460 i'm gonna try and get first class so i was like okay you can get get flights through like credit
00:11:59.100 car where are you one of the guys that signed up for the like the the platinum there's a points
00:12:02.620 points oh no so when the flight attendant comes on it by the way i'm like hung over mid nap when
00:12:07.620 i first got on my flight back to la from hawaii and she's like welcome join our platinum rewards
00:12:12.300 program all you need to do is sign you're that kid you signed up well i signed up for all of
00:12:15.860 the rewards and so there's so how it started was you you apply for like a credit card right and
00:12:21.840 there's like spend three thousand dollars and you get a hundred thousand points or like get fifty
00:12:26.440 thousand points those points convert to a lot of like flights but most people aren't going to spend
00:12:30.640 three five grand so what i did was i did something called manufactured spending um to get me off the
00:12:35.720 ground so what you do normal people right they spend three thousand dollars on groceries maybe
00:12:39.920 they buy a tv but i'm not going to have i'm not going to buy like 200 tvs for three thousand dollars
00:12:44.680 to get all those minimum spends so you'll go to like the grocery store and buy a cash equivalent
00:12:49.200 like a visa gift card you buy the visa gift card take the 500 and then you recycle it you put it
00:12:55.060 into a western union and you buy a money order and you use the money order to pay off your credit
00:12:59.260 card so you meet the minimum spend wow and then you get all the points but you technically never
00:13:03.480 spent the three thousand dollars all you did is there a possibility that there's a like a visa
00:13:07.700 or american express like hit team that could come try to kill you for a result of your actions amex
00:13:13.280 has something called the rat like a rewards abuse team so they've they've they've tried and like
00:13:18.200 you know you appeal it and then you i can just see you walking on here and it's just like a red 0.81
00:13:22.180 dot dude i'm just like yo this dude is fucked over one too many credit issuers is this is i 0.89
00:13:27.400 mean is what you're doing like frowned upon like counting cards in a casino is frowned upon it's 0.93
00:13:31.540 not illegal but so yes it's frowned upon like to like amex and to chase it's a good way to start
00:13:36.860 though so like i did it like this was when i got started i'm not saying that everyone should go
00:13:41.120 and just you know apply for 200 credit cards initially credit wasn't my goal it was just
00:13:45.800 to get on the plane right it was to prove this girl like oh you're flying economy frontier well
00:13:49.880 here's a private jet so like you know it's not frontier anymore here's 100 private jets yeah
00:13:54.960 i'm i'm torn on this on this whole thing and i want to hear more about it i want to i want to
00:13:59.400 be converted but like all the the real wealthy people out there they all say the same thing
00:14:05.680 never spend your own money spent always spend someone else's money as much as you can in life
00:14:10.760 right and so i i i subscribe to that theory i get it but also is this like a weird flex like you're
00:14:16.640 like i got 3.2 million in spending power so i had 3.2 million when i was i think 19 or 20 i have 30
00:14:22.580 million all right so that's a that's that's a shit ton of credit so that's like just building
00:14:27.020 up but like but like what if somebody was like wouldn't you rather have 30 million in like asset
00:14:31.120 value so most people like when they think of credit right like what they teach you or the
00:14:36.360 little that they teach you in school is like oh you spend money on credit and you pay it back
00:14:39.880 And so the most common question I get asked is like, okay, so you have $30 million you
00:14:43.480 spend it.
00:14:43.760 How are you going to pay $30 million back?
00:14:45.480 Well, most people like you'll hear people talking about like the stock market or what
00:14:49.280 they get or returns on every year.
00:14:50.720 Like you'll see like some scammers trying to sell you like, oh, you'll get 50% returns
00:14:54.200 or like 100% returns, like double your money, which is crazy.
00:14:57.140 And then you'll get people that are reasonable, like, oh, 10, 15, 20% returns.
00:15:00.600 This is stocks you're talking about.
00:15:01.900 Not just stocks, like any investment, right?
00:15:04.040 And so instead of using your credit to buy a Lambo and sit in your garage and depreciate
00:15:08.940 you know 30 000 every year you take that and you invest into real estate and it goes up you invest
00:15:13.820 into deal like i'm investing in an oil deal right now that gives me about 15 20 a year and my interest
00:15:19.980 rate is six percent so i'm arbitraging between that six and that 15 that's that's nine percent
00:15:25.660 net every single year so you actually own real estate on credit lines right now so it's basically
00:15:33.900 like a mortgage but it's but through who though so sure what i like to do is like big big banks
00:15:40.820 offer small lines of credit small banks offer big lines of credit so like they're like small
00:15:45.080 credit unions like tennessee has one i work with one called aloha credit union they're all small
00:15:50.100 credit unions but the small ones want to like give you more money because they want your business
00:15:53.920 so like i'll find banks all across the country that's when to issue some money i think you might
00:15:59.200 be on to something man i'm just trying to wrap my brain around all of it it would take me like
00:16:04.660 a few minutes to fully understand at the end of the day like i just don't like spending my own
00:16:09.160 money and it's the same like another reason like some people will be like oh i all i need is my
00:16:13.640 debit card i don't need my credit card so i'll give you the perfect example why you should not
00:16:16.960 use a debit card ever unless you're withdrawing money so you go to the store and use your debit
00:16:21.160 card it runs like a credit card transaction where does the money uh withdraw from withdraw
00:16:25.340 from your bank, right? So if you have $1,000 in your bank and you spend $100 at the grocery store,
00:16:30.180 now you have $900 in your bank. If you have a $1,000 credit line, you spend $100. Now you have
00:16:34.740 $900 available credit, and then you have the option to pay back the $100, right? So say someone
00:16:40.480 steals your credit card and someone steals your debit card. If someone steals your debit card and
00:16:44.660 goes to a grocery store and spends $1,000 to buy a TV, and then someone takes your credit card and
00:16:49.500 spends $1,000 to buy the TV, you're not responsible for either. You just call the credit card company
00:16:54.180 and say like hey i didn't do this and then they'll like investigate it but the difference is who are
00:16:58.340 the banks going to prioritize their money or they're going to prioritize their money the credit
00:17:02.480 card money over your debit card because that's your money the credit is money that you're borrowing
00:17:07.620 from them and neither option do you have to pay back but if you lose a thousand dollars from your
00:17:12.360 debit card that's coming from your bank account they're going to prioritize their own money that
00:17:16.220 they issued to you first to try and recover over your debit card money so that because now you have
00:17:21.020 zero dollars that seems like a reach so you're so basically because in reality that prioritization
00:17:26.020 might equal like three days less of waiting for your money call it or a week well so like what
00:17:31.100 i'm saying is that during that debit card money you have zero dollars in your bank account some
00:17:34.640 banks might give you some more but during that time that your thousand dollars is stolen you
00:17:37.900 have zero dollars in your bank account versus the time my credit card is stolen i still have a
00:17:40.960 thousand dollars in my bank account so you're it's an analogy for principle probably yeah but
00:17:44.480 But yeah, but it also seems like the ideation and your theories apply more to the common man, to the everyday citizen than the person trying to build wealth on top of the wealth that they already have.
00:17:59.500 Okay.
00:18:00.060 So that makes sense.
00:18:00.800 How many credit cards do you have right now?
00:18:02.560 About 240.
00:18:03.440 Okay.
00:18:03.780 And then you said you have a $30 million.
00:18:06.320 So I have a $30 million credit line.
00:18:08.620 Okay.
00:18:08.900 So not all of those are on credit cards.
00:18:11.120 Some of them are just like lines of credit that I can withdraw cash on.
00:18:14.480 Okay. Is it confusing?
00:18:16.260 Very. I pay my account very well.
00:18:18.020 Really? Yeah.
00:18:19.440 It's a mixture. I have about $2 million to $3 million.
00:18:22.180 I don't know the exact number for personal credit,
00:18:24.060 and the rest is all business credit.
00:18:25.820 Business credit is where you get into the investments and stuff.
00:18:29.880 How thick is your wallet?
00:18:32.800 This is all the cards I have.
00:18:33.940 Oh, that's it?
00:18:34.780 I have the black card.
00:18:37.240 I have the business black card.
00:18:39.380 I see six black cards.
00:18:41.200 I have three, and then I have this one.
00:18:42.860 I see a Sapphire Preferred at the end, which is mine, by the way.
00:18:46.760 Oh, sorry.
00:18:48.020 I lied completely to everyone.
00:18:49.920 The black cards, that's like a sign of prestige.
00:18:53.840 Oh, my goodness gracious.
00:18:55.240 That sounds expensive.
00:18:56.460 Can I drop it?
00:18:57.920 Yeah.
00:18:58.740 What is it?
00:19:00.300 This is at least 10 pounds worth of credit cards.
00:19:02.480 That's the weight right there.
00:19:02.880 These are all metal.
00:19:05.460 It sounds wonderful.
00:19:06.960 Bruh.
00:19:12.860 This is making you so much joy.
00:19:15.860 I've always wanted to do that, man.
00:19:19.240 Yeah, what's the deal with the black cards? 0.97
00:19:21.500 Because, you know, rappers sing about or rap about them.
00:19:24.180 So it's $5,000 annual fee for each of the cards.
00:19:28.340 Wow.
00:19:28.360 Which is, you know, I pay that much for a piece of metal.
00:19:32.320 Well, you pay that much for 24-hour concierge service, dry cleaning, as well as hotel transfer shuttles from your favorite airports around the world.

00:19:43.960 We protect your children.
00:19:45.820 I don't know what their slogan is.
00:19:47.500 Dude, honestly.
00:19:48.280 We protect your children.
00:19:50.060 To be honest with you, dude, I don't like any of this.
00:19:54.140 I love that it's working for you. 0.97
00:19:55.660 I love that it's working for you, but it seems fucking crazy, bro. 0.98
00:20:00.920 This is crazy. 0.97
00:20:02.700 I'm with you.
00:20:03.640 I feel that way.
00:20:04.520 But then at the same time, I look at our system and what you talk about with education.
00:20:09.640 we're not taught this stuff it feels like it feels like you're kind of hacking the system
00:20:12.980 that in a sense is hacking people yeah but just not being taught it seems like a weird reason 0.96
00:20:18.680 to say that it's like like they don't teach me that i could like jerk off standing on my head
00:20:23.160 but you can't i can i'm not saying i should why don't you do it right maybe i should do 0.99
00:20:27.180 well she got like this is all by fuck it's like fucked up but like this expert recommended 0.99
00:20:31.360 masturbating upside down she did first guest on the podcast upside down masturbation so maybe 0.99
00:20:36.520 it's something to think about i think you're i'm i'm on the same page as you i also agree with you 0.87
00:20:40.560 and i think if it's working for you that's phenomenal i would just my fear is that the
00:20:44.600 the layman's type of person would go and get fucked because credit is credit was credit's 0.91
00:20:50.980 scary yeah in school i learned like to stay away from credit and then when i had a team who knew 0.95
00:20:56.280 how to do it i used it to my advantage to build my score get points rewards everything yeah so
00:21:01.680 you have a pretty good credit score yeah or yeah yeah yeah but only because i compare our scores
00:21:05.660 right now it's probably it's probably similar to you like 700 something yeah i have like 790
00:21:11.100 that's that isn't that almost like maxed out 850 is the max and so like a lot of people think like
00:21:15.680 oh you need a full 850 to have like the perfect credit score but there's a lot of factors like
00:21:20.080 i don't think school needs to teach you how to get free flights or how to get like you know 200
00:21:24.860 credit cards or 30 million but i think they should at least teach you basic things like there's six
00:21:28.020 factors of credit um one thing that a lot of people get confused on like oh as long as i pay
00:21:32.540 my credit card bill off at the end of every month i'm good and my score just keeps going up or as
00:21:36.700 long as i don't check my credit report it goes up uh which are both myths because if you don't check
00:21:40.860 your you can check your credit report and your score doesn't get hurt and if you pay off your
00:21:44.020 bills every month your score might actually go down so what happens is there's one of the factors
00:21:48.900 is called credit utilization so say you have a thousand dollar credit line and you spend nine
00:21:53.640 hundred dollars on it and you pay off the nine hundred dollars on time and everything your score
00:21:57.340 could still go down because your total credit line is a thousand dollars you're utilizing 90
00:22:01.300 90 percent and 90 utilization is actually worse horrible for your score than if you miss the
00:22:06.380 payment what you're so your your utilization should be under 20 right at all times i should
00:22:13.280 mind like eight percent it should be at zero percent ideally and how you can keep it at zero
00:22:18.420 percent right now for like your viewers and everything just pay it off as soon as you make
00:22:22.280 a purchase like when i first started credit i don't do it anymore because i have a massive
00:22:25.560 credit line so like the the percentage doesn't matter anymore but like if you have a thousand
00:22:29.260 dollar credit line or a $500 credit line you go and buy a $20 like uh like dinner pay it off like
00:22:35.200 as soon as like the transaction goes through go on your phone and just like transfer $20 from a
00:22:39.820 bank account and pay off so it never hits your statement yes it doesn't close because what's
00:22:43.680 reported to your credit bureau is the statement close so if your statement close balance is $900
00:22:47.740 out of a thousand you're 90 utilization that's probably going to drop your score like 20 points
00:22:51.700 the best thing that ever happened to me credit wise was i hate to give them a shout out and i
00:22:56.740 don't know if you use them or not but credit karma yeah app i use religiously and i have like
00:23:01.080 an 825 credit score and i've had i had a horrible horrible credit score for so long but because of
00:23:06.340 the stuff that certain apps taught me about utilization payment timing it did great for my
00:23:12.580 yeah no credit card is great i think everyone should get it um you know everybody like looks
00:23:17.140 at their phone the first thing they wake up like most people and they go to a certain thing if
00:23:20.380 you're like a twitch streamer you might go to twitch if you like check your stocks every morning
00:23:24.240 So like what I did consistently every single day for a year was just the first that check was credit karma
00:23:28.920 Like I'll just open and just check my credit report and that's how I just built it up everything
00:23:32.520 It was like the priority in my head
00:23:34.180 And I think I think they've just done like the best job of like appifying like the credit
00:23:37.980 You know what I'm saying? It feels almost like a Facebook or like an Instagram you open
00:23:40.800 It's really pretty and just like it makes it a lot less intimidating like it's green
00:23:44.520 And so like you're looking at like oh, it's like it's welcoming and trusting 0.99
00:23:47.940 You um
00:23:49.760 You obviously you strike me as a an intelligent kid and you went to Stanford
00:23:54.220 yeah uh for three semesters so one and a half years yeah well i went summer and two other
00:24:01.240 semesters yeah what do you think it is about you that makes you attracted to credit and uh making
00:24:07.360 this your line of work are you a numbers guy i'd say i'm attracted to credit because it's one of
00:24:13.780 the things that the school system failed to teach us and so like i spent a lot of time when i was
00:24:18.840 like 12 years old i watched this like simon sinek talk called starting with why and like my favorite
00:24:23.480 it's my favorite tech talk of all time yeah so it was the first like motivational thing i saw
00:24:28.060 and i was like okay so i spent like a long time trying to figure out my why but i didn't really
00:24:32.660 i didn't like make it my sole focus i just kind of did what i enjoyed so for credit it was just
00:24:38.100 like oh i get to travel for free and everything and i slowly found that like look credit's one
00:24:41.700 of the things we didn't teach teach people in school and i started finding all these other
00:24:45.380 things like i go to like the doctor's office i'll ask the doctor like how much of what you do today
00:24:49.380 did you learn in school and they're like like two percent wow and like i'll ask the car mechanic
00:24:54.400 they're like how much did you learn in school like zero like that's a good question to ask people
00:24:58.120 yeah i think i have yet to i have yet to meet one person that said oh everything i do in my job i
00:25:03.680 learn in school yeah or like confidently say like above 50 such a small percent and this would be
00:25:08.280 like the trade community right like if you went to if you went to school to learn how to take
00:25:12.060 weld something like you probably learned it at your trade school right yeah by the way we have
00:25:16.860 a shortage of trade workers definitely right i think i think a lot of that did you guys ever
00:25:21.080 have like a vocational school that was attached to your school it was like separate yeah well we
00:25:25.380 had auto we had like auto class we had like classes for it that you could go to and i went
00:25:30.200 to uh i actually went to audio video that was my choice which yeah that panned out i mean i learned
00:25:36.060 how to edit on vcr which has been great for me you serious yeah i had like a little button you
00:25:41.640 could turn it would speed it up and it goes i never use it it's dysfunctional you never know
00:25:48.500 one of the other things i saw was like if you people like get pulled over every single day
00:25:55.640 right and we are never taught how to communicate with cops in school ever like people are getting
00:26:01.420 shot by like bad cops and like bad people are getting shot by good cops and the good cops like
00:26:07.900 both sides have wrongs right and we're never taught like oh this is the standard on how to
00:26:12.520 conduct a traffic stop yet everybody has learned stop drop and roll when you catch on fire so i
00:26:19.380 have i i'm every you guys probably know someone that's gone pulled over right yeah i literally
00:26:24.300 in the back of my head i can't think of a single person that's caught on fire in the past week in
00:26:28.340 the past month in the past so i think it's crazy it's a fantastic point yeah it's a fantastic point
00:26:33.600 school just does a horrible job of like what you talk about with the why school does a horrible
00:26:38.360 job of linking the why like i've been watching youtube videos about sacred geometry and things
00:26:43.720 that i hated during school but i'm now linking it to like things i'm actually passionate about
00:26:48.900 learning like if you link math mathematics reading writing science like all this stuff
00:26:53.940 is important to be a well-rounded individual but if you're going to these classes to take a test
00:27:00.400 that's not going to be how you actually retain that knowledge you know it's transactional and
00:27:05.840 we teach kids like to hate school like we don't directly teach them to hate school but like kids
00:27:10.880 dread going to school and as a result it like transfers to their adult life because then it's
00:27:15.320 like oh i hate learning when i think we should be encouraging and making learning like i don't care
00:27:19.440 if you want to learn how to play fortnite better if you want to learn how to play the piano if you
00:27:22.880 want to learn how to play guitar learning is learning and i think we should encourage it
00:27:26.340 and like if i were a teacher like i was like it was the first day of school i would literally
00:27:30.780 create a hundred like questions from a hundred different subjects and i would just give it to
00:27:35.120 them as a pop quiz i say like look you can use your phone you can use your friend you can call
00:27:37.780 your dad whatever because we live in a world where we have resources and we're not teaching
00:27:42.760 our kids to access their resources true instead we're making them memorize the atomic number for
00:27:47.300 hydrogen instead of like teaching them like real number one baby right like number one i know how
00:27:53.200 much i'm gonna do with that this week absolutely nothing right like we learn all this stuff but
00:27:59.400 like i took like a paramedic course too like because i ski i was a ski patroller so the stuff
00:28:04.460 i learned from there i think is pretty useful that anyone should know like what if your buddy
00:28:07.980 slips and falls and like you know very obviously his leg's broken do you lift him up to the couch
00:28:13.160 so he can like sit down on the couch do you leave him there do you call the like like ambulance right
00:28:17.640 away like simple stuff like that that's actual life skills how to file taxes like you know how
00:28:21.920 to get health insurance i made my first million before i got health insurance wow so i think
00:28:26.700 that's pretty like messed up yeah that's you're making a lot of good points i'm thoroughly
00:28:32.140 enjoying this episode and uh you're you're aligned with him in many ways too because he's he he's big
00:28:36.700 on education reform and is that how you guys met yeah i think that's how we connected like yeah you
00:28:41.460 were posting a bunch of stuff about education reform and stuff you're talking about now and
00:28:45.520 i've reached out so so steven how can you uh do a do maybe a slight shift from maybe this this
00:28:53.980 lifestyle and the credit to your goal which sounds like is education i think this gives
00:28:59.020 me access because like people see this and they're like oh this guy has hundreds of thousands of
00:29:03.640 followers and you know he's verified he does credit he got butts on cars but at the end of
00:29:09.320 the day like if i didn't have this we won't even be here talking right and so like the whole i don't
00:29:14.580 it worked right like i don't i was talking to a lot of people like i've worked with like designer
00:29:19.020 i'm working with like little pumps on his credit too and so it's like i wouldn't be able to access
00:29:23.980 those people had i not like gone this route because i would probably have like 417 followers
00:29:29.460 posting daily credit tips right because no one wakes up and is like i want to go on instagram
00:29:34.760 to learn about credit yeah right so is that what you're doing with uh designer our friend designer
00:29:39.100 yes teaching him how to fly a jet no that's rush hour five it's uh it's i got you got you
00:29:47.280 so okay so you you as is even indicated by this timeline of your instagram here
00:29:53.620 you acquired the success you learn how to navigate the credit world and then i'm seeing the lifestyle 0.70
00:29:59.080 it's very clear the lifestyle is getting crazier and crazier um specifically with butts now i want
00:30:05.380 to ask you because like i was and i hate to do it like this like you you're you've entered a
00:30:10.140 household where like we know we know butts dude yeah like pretty pretty well like you guys are 0.81
00:30:14.960 butts we know butts some of these butts are mediocre at best so i want to i'll just say 0.75
00:30:21.260 they're marginal diving in like that well when on the plane right there is is dope it i'm not 0.97
00:30:27.400 gonna lie this one's pretty dope that one's well crafted pretty good but are you just like that 0.98
00:30:34.680 one comment we saw are people uh ever coming at you for objectifying women and their butts
00:30:39.520 i don't really read my comments so i'm not sure like i don't not yeah that's a good yeah i mean
00:30:45.120 i'll probably answer that question i'm sure yes the answer is yes but like i at this one like
00:30:50.740 what's i mean you're barely in this picture steve this is a butt a giant butt i also live in vegas
00:30:58.180 so oh yeah so how do you this looks like a this looks like vegas that's just a normal that's a 1.00
00:31:03.500 tuesday right there and when did he post this i need to know how how you get these girls to to 1.00
00:31:09.240 pose for these pictures like this like is it just like hey put your butts in this railing and i'll 1.00
00:31:14.400 grab your butts kind of yeah honestly like i did this even before i had instagram like i was doing 0.98
00:31:21.980 this in college are you are you a wild man you did this at stanford i don't believe you i don't 0.98
00:31:28.900 believe you that kind of stuff just doesn't happen at college all right no but what do you say like
00:31:32.560 how do you convince you just like hey let's get an instagram shot like that's it yeah and they'll 0.99
00:31:36.640 just stick their asses on the railing yeah oh shit free brandy vegas probably definitely has 0.99
00:31:42.380 something to do with this so what kind of what kind of cars are you driving now um i just have 0.99
00:31:47.680 a lambo in the garage and i have two teslas that's it like i used that's it yeah well i used to like
00:31:52.840 be like jake paul's garage it's the same exact setup honestly tesla is like the best car like
00:31:57.840 it's it's auto driving like i used to care about like oh i want to rolls i want to like i've driven
00:32:03.340 all the cars and at the end of the day like i just want to have like a lambo in the garage i don't
00:32:06.980 drive like i drive it maybe once a month and then i just drive a tesla model three is like my daily
00:32:11.720 driver gotcha and where exactly are you going meetings uh food food is it is that your house
00:32:17.860 yeah yeah how much was this house um i paid 20k a month and so i don't own it for the record i
00:32:24.940 I lease it in order to write off.
00:32:26.820 I lease it under my company.
00:32:27.640 I write off about 95% of it.
00:32:29.740 Oh, my God.
00:32:30.620 You got a pretty good life, man.
00:32:31.560 I love it.
00:32:31.880 You got a pretty good life.
00:32:33.160 That's a cool theme that we've had from Grant, from a lot of the financial guys.
00:32:38.180 Not buying a house is such a better investment.
00:32:40.900 You can rent it off.
00:32:42.100 It sucks that you didn't take on that advice, bro.
00:32:44.460 I bought two now at this point. 0.81
00:32:46.300 Why don't you?
00:32:46.880 Straight cash.
00:32:47.240 I mean, it's great, but it's also, I don't know, maybe not.
00:32:50.220 Why don't you buy or under a different company and lease it to yourself?
00:32:54.940 i think once you get to like a certain level of like uh he just shorted out bro that was
00:32:59.660 way too much i gotta warn you you can't say stuff like that on the podcast you gotta calm down over
00:33:04.480 there i think once you get to a certain level of like wealth and like accumulation that like
00:33:08.400 i think like you probably took a lot of your risk because you you didn't have anything to lose
00:33:12.440 you know what i'm saying like you're just a kid that just like you're like i think i'm gonna get 0.87
00:33:15.480 30 million in credit like he does that shit like and he's like i think i'm gonna buy a house but 0.85
00:33:20.300 also lease one rent it to myself write it off for a jet that i'm renting like i think his like the 0.98
00:33:26.260 irs would just be like yo guess what logan paul controversial youtuber you're going to guantanamo 1.00
00:33:30.440 bay you know what i'm saying you're fucked you fucked yourself like you can do it you can do it 0.99
00:33:35.000 because a you you don't have like a massive identity it's like he he's like he does some 1.00
00:33:40.680 like weird shit like that like the rat team's gonna come and eat his soul you know what i'm 0.88
00:33:44.060 saying i think having nothing to lose what can you hold that hit the sign with the camera please 1.00
00:33:49.020 no no please don't i want to hear more why well now you've distracted now you can't even respond
00:33:54.560 what kind of question is that it's a good it's a good one it's a good no why does he want to do
00:33:58.700 that why would he lease it oh sorry my my fault yeah why would i do that which i think by the way
00:34:04.120 my business team mentioned i i think you're saying to write it off yeah yeah to write it off because
00:34:10.100 um if you buy a house for the sole purpose of a business expense like you form a new company and
00:34:15.820 you buy that house that's sole like purchase of that house is for a business expense because
00:34:19.880 you're renting that house and then you're renting it to your other company well many ways it quite
00:34:24.280 literally is like a business expense like it's a content playground absolutely yeah and so like
00:34:28.900 as a result you're writing off the monthly lease payments to the other company that other company
00:34:32.900 has a mortgage or whatever uh like you know you put 20 down now now that he's in this deep can he
00:34:38.660 sell it to his company and then lease it to this the company that sold it to him i'm not sure like
00:34:44.440 i'm not an accountant so like uh you know i've i've sounds i like to surround myself with smart
00:34:49.560 financial people but yeah that's i i think that's something worth exploring it might save you some
00:34:54.080 especially in california you got some california tax here and and and that's why i'm in nevada
00:34:58.300 that's why i'm in vegas as close as a 45 minute flight here and i might move to puerto rico to
00:35:04.160 zero percent yeah there we go i mean who knows bro let's do it at this point you're teaching
00:35:08.940 people as well how to how to get rich off of credit cards yes and uh i looked at your courses
00:35:14.540 here you open up the page what the school system failed to teach you um so there's the credit
00:35:20.780 basics for 197 credit 101 for 497 and credit mastery for 2495 are people purchasing these
00:35:31.120 courses yep is this a scam nope this is legit um so i actually gave away the 197 i gotta find the
00:35:39.560 code i gave a code out to everybody because like originally i decided to sell for 197 but my
00:35:44.840 ultimate goal isn't to like make money i don't care about making money off of credit i have
00:35:48.640 investments that use my credit to make money so like the 197 i just gave out completely for free
00:35:53.860 which the 197 you go on there you learn the six factors of credit you learn how to get your first
00:35:58.840 five credit cards and i'll find it you can like plug it in like there's a code and you just go
00:36:03.880 and get a free course i definitely won't do that but i'm sure someone will too many steps in there
00:36:09.860 where do you i can't read dude like i'm capped on a lot of like things i can do yeah where do you
00:36:16.040 find your uh where do you find your investments like so like assuming i semi understand your
00:36:21.540 capability of spending based on credit lines like what how do you find your investments that you're
00:36:26.020 actually spending on so when i travel and i like you know i'm staying up i'm gonna meet like
00:36:31.060 wealthier higher like caliber people in the lobby of a ritz carlton just to find a high caliber
00:36:36.240 person like someone that's if someone's staying at it go ahead god if someone's staying at the
00:36:41.100 ritz carlton right like you're probably the people staying there probably did something to be able to
00:36:46.340 stay there right and they probably some of them are there for work some of them work in nine to
00:36:50.340 five but some of them are entrepreneurs like me and so like sitting there talking networking you
00:36:54.860 just stumble upon deals i don't go out with like the sole like purpose of like oh i'm going out to
00:37:00.760 find a deal it just kind of happens right you talk to a hundred people maybe one of those people
00:37:05.560 will have something and you know you just have friendly conversations so network networking is
00:37:10.280 big for you networking is big not so much anymore because like now i just leverage the existing
00:37:15.360 network that i've built and they just introduce me to people like hey steven meet logan meet and
00:37:20.400 And then so it's – but I think initially in the beginning, yes, it's really important.
00:37:25.680 Nice.
00:37:26.420 Did Ty Lopez help you structure this?
00:37:29.700 No.
00:37:30.540 I think like – I've worked with Ty, but this was just entirely my team.
00:37:35.040 Got you.
00:37:35.620 Got you.
00:37:35.860 And who is your team?
00:37:37.380 So I have a house manager.
00:37:39.320 I have a business manager.
00:37:40.680 And then that's it.
00:37:42.880 I have two people on my team.
00:37:44.620 It's very impressive.
00:37:46.140 I run lean.
00:37:47.400 Yeah, indeed.
00:37:48.380 um i'm just saying okay can everyone do this like what happens if everyone starts playing this game
00:37:56.000 market corrects itself so like if everyone starts getting you know 30 million dollars in credit
00:38:00.500 the banks are gonna be like whoa something's wrong and because we have people with 30 million
00:38:04.680 dollars of credit not paying us back our interest and they're maxing out all their lines of credit
00:38:09.280 so the market's gonna correct itself i would say in the next three to four years credit games
00:38:13.180 gonna be completely different again i should not be able to get 30 million dollars in credit this
00:38:17.880 easy so you're not able to based off this episode what what what what if that what if what if the
00:38:24.240 rat pack is just watching i was one by the way they put a lot of people watch this especially
00:38:28.380 when we discuss a controversial situation like this and also like who does that correction hurt
00:38:32.940 because like that's another thing i'm concerned about like if there's if there's 50 you know
00:38:37.140 private jet flying butt utilizers that have 30 million in credit each and they crash the system
00:38:43.580 does mr and mrs winters you know old mr and mrs winter lose their retirement and he doesn't have
00:38:48.660 his recliner anymore because you know you you were just buying all these jets on i think i think the
00:38:53.660 banker i think the people running the banks are going to catch that like long before like you
00:38:58.700 know like they did with the mortgage yeah like jp morgan it's not yeah everyone lost everything
00:39:04.420 including gp shout out gp man but like yo i mean it's kind of a risk if you think about it like 0.97
00:39:11.000 Your manipulation of the system may just end up fucking somebody. 0.98
00:39:14.540 You know what I'm saying? 0.99
00:39:15.900 Listen, I hate being this guy, dude.
00:39:18.040 If you were given $100 million and someone in L.A. loses a limb because of it, would you take it?
00:39:23.560 What was that?
00:39:23.940 If someone offers you a contract right now for $100 million, they say,
00:39:30.120 Stephen, very simple, here's a pen.
00:39:31.840 Sign this.
00:39:33.100 Caveat.
00:39:34.120 Someone here in L.A. will lose a limb.
00:39:36.360 Do you sign that paper?
00:39:37.780 can i buy that person their limb back in in our last analogy yes but in this one in this no no in
00:39:47.720 this one you don't even you don't get to choose this person nope you don't even know who it is
00:39:52.240 and you'll never find out but trust there's a movie about this there's a movie called the box
00:39:57.780 it shows up at your door if you push the button you get a shit ton of money and somebody else
00:40:02.720 dies actually in that one i don't think i would do something like that for another hundred million
00:40:06.820 like i'm i'm comfortable right now i don't think another five ten million is going to make my life
00:40:11.840 very different than how what about the hundred he offered you though that's it come on that's
00:40:15.660 it's a chunk i think that's a chunky nut that's a chunky nut dude i think it depends where like
00:40:22.520 i'm at in my life i don't think i would i wouldn't take it now i was gonna if you asked me like two
00:40:26.380 years ago i probably would 100 million 18 also also we're on a podcast if you just buy yourself
00:40:31.620 and a box shows up
00:40:32.560 and you look around
00:40:33.200 and you know
00:40:33.920 it will boop
00:40:35.280 yeah trust
00:40:36.480 if people weren't watching 1.00
00:40:37.760 you'd sign that fucking paper 1.00
00:40:38.840 he was already starting to think 1.00
00:40:39.800 he's like
00:40:40.060 how do I get this dude
00:40:40.900 a peg leg
00:40:41.560 or pirates and stuff
00:40:42.640 yeah he thought about it
00:40:43.840 too long bro
00:40:44.840 he said to buy him
00:40:46.960 a new limb
00:40:47.540 which
00:40:48.120 that's smart
00:40:49.240 which begs another
00:40:50.000 another question
00:40:50.640 I hate to go down this road
00:40:51.740 but I was thinking about
00:40:52.700 the fact that when you
00:40:53.380 catch like a gecko
00:40:54.240 and his tail
00:40:55.460 he'll lose his tail
00:40:56.980 and then he can grow it back
00:40:58.340 same with like a squid
00:40:59.480 or an octopus
00:41:00.000 why can't we do that as humans
00:41:02.160 I think it's the whole issue of
00:41:04.360 we're not reptiles
00:41:05.700 that whole thing
00:41:07.420 you bring this up for a reason you know there's an answer to it
00:41:09.700 we're watching that show
00:41:10.820 regenerative limbs is what I'm looking for
00:41:12.840 that's not the show's name it's called unnatural selection
00:41:14.880 it's on Netflix
00:41:15.680 I'm looking for regenerative limbs
00:41:18.240 they're starting to work with
00:41:20.800 implanting reptilian
00:41:23.260 DNA into our DNA sequence
00:41:25.120 testing it so that if
00:41:26.800 someone does lose a leg on a 100 million
00:41:29.020 trade-off they're able to actually regenerate the limb they've got it they've got it done with limbs
00:41:33.560 in chicken embryos they've got it done with human brain right now they can they're growing
00:41:38.740 human brain tissue in a peapod okay would you not the word would you would you take the hundred
00:41:43.960 million dollars can i fix that petri dish would you take the hundred million dollars if the person
00:41:48.780 had regenerative limb building but they grew back a leg in their arm where's this box i don't know
00:41:54.480 Let me put
00:41:56.160 I would
00:41:56.580 I might do
00:41:58.060 You can make a good living
00:41:59.880 Off that kind of look
00:42:00.740 That's an interesting
00:42:02.020 Do you know how much
00:42:02.740 You can make off foot fetish
00:42:04.020 And if you
00:42:04.480 Imagine if you had
00:42:05.100 Three sets of toes
00:42:06.280 And some weirdo
00:42:07.240 And I don't
00:42:08.580 Sorry
00:42:09.140 Not I don't
00:42:09.740 Okay
00:42:10.040 Nebraska
00:42:11.460 It's always 0.96
00:42:12.000 Nebraska
00:42:12.680 Could just watch 1.00
00:42:13.340 Your three foot foot fetish videos
00:42:14.880 Dude
00:42:15.160 That's a lot of money there
00:42:16.320 Steven how often 1.00
00:42:17.100 You fucking man 1.00
00:42:17.980 Smooth transition 1.00
00:42:20.760 Smooth transition
00:42:21.640 Well I just gotta know bro
00:42:22.640 Because
00:42:23.020 Just like anyone 0.99
00:42:23.980 with all these women you gotta be you gotta be pretty healthy sexually active wise my doctor 1.00
00:42:30.900 says so there you go that's the answer we're looking for there we go the doc says hey man 0.99
00:42:36.520 good job with the fucking i had to figure out how to get health insurance first 0.98
00:42:43.600 you still don't have health insurance i was gonna say you're about to get penalized 0.99
00:42:49.840 by Obamacare
00:42:51.440 Evan had to get a finger shoved up 0.99
00:42:54.820 his butt yesterday 0.99
00:42:56.140 really 0.99
00:42:57.060 I think it was actually recreational
00:43:00.200 recreational
00:43:06.400 but you
00:43:07.540 I think it was
00:43:11.440 rectal
00:43:13.240 a rectal exam
00:43:15.600 not recreational
00:43:16.420 that's legal now
00:43:18.740 I hear
00:43:19.280 Oh no
00:43:25.700 Woo
00:43:26.620 Did you like it?
00:43:28.900 Nah
00:43:29.420 He's been
00:43:30.140 Pretty PTSD
00:43:30.940 He's made it
00:43:31.620 Very clear
00:43:32.460 That all of us
00:43:33.240 Need to stay away 1.00
00:43:33.920 From his butt 1.00
00:43:34.500 Yeah 0.99
00:43:34.860 Really
00:43:35.460 Which is
00:43:35.840 Ben's tough for us
00:43:36.780 It is
00:43:38.040 It is
00:43:38.540 He choked me out
00:43:39.320 That
00:43:39.540 It was weird
00:43:40.440 For no reason
00:43:41.220 I like aggressive Evan
00:43:42.360 He's fun
00:43:43.660 Is that it?
00:43:45.660 In that bottom picture
00:43:46.560 On the bottom left
00:43:47.240 Is there
00:43:47.580 Is there
00:43:48.040 No
00:43:48.360 don't zoom in for is there is that what is that behind them is there those little aliens people
00:43:53.080 it's looking the other way it's a floaty crown for my pool so like it's like a big floaty crown 1.00
00:43:59.460 and you sit in the crown yo some of these girls are actually pretty hot dude i'm not gonna lie 1.00
00:44:02.880 that one on the left you have her in quite a few pictures is that your is that your main 1.00

00:44:10.620 chick yes you really got a main chick yeah the one that's grabbing her boobs yes well girls 1.00
00:44:16.420 can you see what's popping 1.00
00:44:18.700 with the one on the left and the right
00:44:20.120 well I'm worried about the one on the right
00:44:22.800 to be honest
00:44:23.460 she fell asleep for your picture
00:44:26.800 do you plan on raising a family
00:44:29.240 in Las Vegas
00:44:29.840 I'm 22
00:44:32.320 you seem like a very nice
00:44:34.780 smart
00:44:36.420 collected kid
00:44:37.760 you don't strike me as a Vegas
00:44:40.120 I've met Vegas people
00:44:41.180 I think I would want to go back to Ohio
00:44:43.620 that's right
00:44:44.960 yes um i just think it's like oh midwest people are just nice and like i think it's true it's
00:44:50.720 very humbling i don't want my kids to uh to just think that money just like grows on trees which
00:44:57.340 i don't think any parents do but like but given the lifestyle you live don't you think it may be
00:45:02.080 hard for them to think otherwise yes and i think that's gonna and that's why i don't have kids
00:45:06.640 right now so what if they when i figure out how to how to raise them what if they grow up and they
00:45:11.440 think that credit card statements grow on trees because it's not he doesn't utilize cash would
00:45:15.720 that be okay i like i don't have to answer i like what what what you said though is that like the
00:45:20.920 credit card game is going to be different in five years like you're in an ever evolving space and i
00:45:26.860 think as long as you stay up to date absolutely i think every space is evolving i mean like social
00:45:30.800 media like you know a year six months ago was different like there's different trends six
00:45:34.500 months ago than it was here and like if you disappear off social media for six months you're
00:45:38.120 going to be behind and in fact i think the only uh industry that hasn't evolved would be education
00:45:44.920 oh my god you're right like think about it like 50 100 years ago we had like how was communication
00:45:52.060 done we had like telegraphs like beep beep beep and then we had like rotary phones and then
00:45:55.620 satellite phones and like computers and laptops iphones um transportation we had trains like
00:46:01.880 horse and buggy all this stuff and now we have electric cars yep like education 500 years ago
00:46:07.660 You could go to, like, Europe.
00:46:08.720 It was, like, a teacher standing in front.
00:46:10.160 Yep.
00:46:10.400 Two plus two equal two.
00:46:11.840 End of the day.
00:46:12.740 I just want to let you know two plus two doesn't equal two.
00:46:15.280 Well, no, it depends on where.
00:46:17.300 It does if you're in Eastern Europe.
00:46:18.840 If you're in Eastern Europe.
00:46:19.640 Yeah. 0.98
00:46:20.220 It's just that one.
00:46:21.040 They haven't gotten to that point yet.
00:46:22.900 No, you're right.
00:46:23.540 You're absolutely right.
00:46:24.520 I got high hopes for you in that space.
00:46:29.640 That's my why.
00:46:30.780 Like, at the end of the day, like, when I die, when I'm, like, 80 years old, that's all I want.
00:46:34.900 like i don't care about making like enormous amounts of money i just want like people to
00:46:39.460 remember like oh steven he contributed like one or two percent i don't care about like contributing
00:46:43.220 100 to changing the education system i just want to be a part of that change because like i travel
00:46:47.720 to other countries a lot i go to like japan i go to like europe i'll go all over and like it's fun
00:46:53.200 like you know if you're in bali like you spend a week there but at the end of the day like when
00:46:55.800 you get back to lax and you go through customs you're like this is home and like so i don't want
00:47:00.300 my home country like i'm very proud of it i'm very proud to be an american i don't want to go
00:47:05.060 back to my home country i don't want to see our country like keep declining in education and like
00:47:09.400 people are like like 90 of the issues in like society i feel like could be fixed with education 0.93
00:47:16.140 guys don't know how to talk to girls creepy guys sending dick pics and everything like 1.00
00:47:19.720 unsolicited dick pics yeah all because of just freaking third grade math dude so many dicks 0.99
00:47:25.580 no but he i mean i think you're i think you're right like it's it's there it's real life it's 1.00
00:47:30.960 real life they don't teach you that in school they don't teach you like that shit happens right 0.51
00:47:34.140 like i think everyone wants to like be right now like they think it's a bubble right like there's 0.84
00:47:38.420 a little protective bubble like oh if i go on social media people can't cyber bully me well
00:47:42.220 try and like stop this russian dude in russia that's like calling you saying you have a small 0.98
00:47:46.740 penis like like what are you gonna do there's nothing you can do about that so bullying exists 0.96
00:47:52.140 mean people exist on the internet but at the end of the day like we gotta teach people how to deal
00:47:57.480 with that we don't teach kids how to deal with stress you might get a job you might lose your
00:48:01.220 job you might get a girlfriend she might cheat on you right you might your dad might die like
00:48:05.000 shit happens in life and we don't even teach them how to like deal with like ups and downs
00:48:09.240 like we just kind of like oh like you're stressful cool that's like normal i wonder how much of that
00:48:13.320 is teachable and how much of it you just chalk it up to the game and learning how to live life
00:48:17.240 like to a certain degree if you like make if you are able to look at it from like a macro perspective
00:48:21.800 i'm sure like things you just described would be like a class called struggle and hardship maybe
00:48:27.940 but um the thing that yes the issue that we currently face is the majority of those lessons
00:48:36.400 can be learned in the real world and should be learned in the real world but we're being sheltered
00:48:40.380 from the real world like you're saying so we're getting to the point where we're leaving college
00:48:44.360 at the age of what 22 ish somewhere in there and you're in debt so you can't make those mistakes
00:48:51.300 so you you have to you know strip away all the the constructs of school and let people
00:48:57.700 experience the real world younger like we used to i like i like what you said i think why i'm like
00:49:03.640 attracted to your angle on this is that you provided like some solutions and i'm sure you
00:49:07.660 have a lot of them but um it seems like you have instead of just like pointing at the problem and
00:49:13.580 saying that it's a problem it seems like you have some viable solutions for like fixing the
00:49:18.360 education system or how to do it different i really like what you said about uh giving kids
00:49:23.240 an hour to answer a hundred question test but like use all the resources you can because you're
00:49:28.080 right like in school i i remember like taking math tests the ones where you weren't allowed
00:49:33.360 to use your calculator and i was always so confused because i knew in real life i'd pretty
00:49:38.240 much always have access to a calculator unless i got like tom hanks in castaway and i just have
00:49:45.100 in which case why do you well why do you need to do mathematics well what if you need to figure
00:49:49.420 like are you looking for a recipe for like how to turn coconuts into like i don't even know yeah
00:49:55.720 you don't you don't have the application you don't you don't have the connection to why like what it
00:50:00.360 unlocks in the real world yeah you said yeah you're just being tested you're you know that's
00:50:05.180 the thing though that i i love about what we're creating here with this podcast is whoever's
00:50:09.360 watching this just learned more about credit than any of us did if we watched this podcast when we
00:50:15.700 were in school dude we'd be on a whole different life trajectory so hundreds of thousands of people
00:50:21.440 that are young are now able to actually you you can take a different step and you can start
00:50:27.320 learning stuff that we didn't get to learn yeah that's huge huge podcasts and youtube and you know
00:50:32.920 i call it youtube university like you can learn everything you want on youtube on google and and
00:50:39.340 it's right there you know it's it's about choosing you know do i learn or do i waste my time like
00:50:44.940 you can pick i wonder if by the time i'm an adult and i have kids i wonder if i'll have like
00:50:52.600 developed a curriculum for them that'll teach them in a way that is super revolutionary that
00:50:58.340 the school like will probably not yet provide uh what i like about school and the school setting
00:51:03.880 is the the atmosphere and the environment and in many ways it does teach you how to like interact
00:51:08.800 with kids like yeah once you see this is this is my thing and going to finland for example
00:51:13.240 and going to china you and and experiencing their progressive uh sides to education you see that you
00:51:20.560 can still get that same experience of community in a different way so you don't have to send your
00:51:25.760 kids into a classroom in which the teacher's at the front of the room telling everybody what to
00:51:30.620 do like there's so much science now and and that's what i'm excited about with my documentary
00:51:34.720 is just to educate people what true education is meant to be meant to look like everybody if you
00:51:41.460 say what does it mean to you know what is education an image is going to come to your
00:51:46.500 mind and for a lot of people it's like i'm in in a you know i'm at a desk and i'm learning from
00:51:51.260 somebody but in progressive education what's happening right now in the world and this isn't
00:51:56.040 sexy this is boring to talk about but it is happening which is really exciting is is we're
00:52:00.920 flipping the classroom upside down we're starting to ask kids like what do you want to learn how can
00:52:05.800 i help you how can i help facilitate that that's real education you know and so anytime you're in
00:52:10.920 a school building or setting where someone's telling you what to do you know instantly you're
00:52:15.520 not you're not in the right place and that's that's going to take a while for us to like 0.99
00:52:19.860 really change that it's a bitch to change that dude don't you think it's crazy that the next 0.96
00:52:24.960 lebron james the next little pump the next justin bieber is sitting somewhere in a third grade 0.98
00:52:30.020 classroom learning like useless math when they could be honing their true talents or true or
00:52:36.200 their true talent and also their hobby like we would have so many more two out of those three
00:52:42.280 i'm on board with you on two out of three i'm on board with you talk about do you disagree
00:52:48.260 a little pump i'm i'm on the fence on the pump thing like like i like listen i'm i'm down to
00:52:53.580 you know i can't even say do any of the things he talks about in his songs because i as an addict 0.70
00:52:59.200 in recovery i mean i shouldn't be sipping lean popping perks or any of that shit and by the way 0.98
00:53:03.580 i don't think 12 year olds should be doing that shit either maybe wait till you're 14 0.95
00:53:06.540 but like honestly like what i mean like he maybe he should have stayed in school he may be the one 0.99
00:53:11.540 that bucks the trend like he may be the one that bucks the trend like yo wait what if he got a
00:53:15.680 degree and he got out and he used that same flow 0.96
00:53:17.640 and shit to just be a little bit more elevated 0.99
00:53:19.680 I don't know. People don't want that 0.99
00:53:21.800 bro. Yeah I don't know. They want
00:53:22.960 a dumb ass. They want a sibling 1.00
00:53:25.440 turn the fuck up. 0.62
00:53:27.360 Trust me. Hey that's part of the reason I made it bro. 0.70
00:53:29.760 People want a fucking dumb ass. 1.00
00:53:31.420 Don't say that. People will believe you if you say that. 1.00
00:53:33.680 It's not true. You're not dumb. 0.97
00:53:35.580 You're not dumb. But people do want 0.93
00:53:37.960 some dumb shit in their lives. Dumb shit 1.00
00:53:39.700 is popping right now. Like you have to 1.00
00:53:41.280 admit. Like being stupid and shit 1.00
00:53:43.800 as long as you 1.00
00:53:44.320 I mean look how dumb 0.99
00:53:45.080 we are bro 0.98
00:53:45.700 number one podcast
00:53:46.440 in the world
00:53:46.800 facts
00:53:47.220 as long as you have
00:53:50.760 a plane 1.00
00:53:51.300 some butts bro
00:53:52.660 like it doesn't 1.00
00:53:54.320 matter if you
00:53:54.940 think two plus
00:53:55.760 two is two
00:53:56.420 you know what I'm
00:53:58.980 saying like as long
00:53:59.700 as you have some 0.96
00:54:00.120 planes some butts
00:54:01.080 you're chilling bro 0.97
00:54:03.320 like
00:54:03.960 like honestly
00:54:05.480 in this day
00:54:06.080 and that's why
00:54:06.600 that's why
00:54:07.420 that's why
00:54:08.500 schooling isn't
00:54:09.480 working at all
00:54:10.380 dude because like
00:54:11.180 they can't
00:54:11.720 they don't teach 1.00
00:54:12.320 you that shit bro 1.00
00:54:13.140 oh, they're too busy. 1.00
00:54:14.240 And like, yeah, you don't use the pie gathering theory.
00:54:17.580 But if you want to win in Jeopardy, which I do,
00:54:20.180 school actually comes in handy pretty well.
00:54:22.460 Know what I would do?
00:54:23.260 If I was the secretary of education.
00:54:25.120 So when you're in 2037, when Logan Paul is president,
00:54:29.300 I'm going to be your secretary of education.
00:54:31.040 Deal.
00:54:32.720 I would make standard tests completely like wipe those out.
00:54:37.320 Gone.
00:54:38.100 Gone.
00:54:38.540 Because if you take those away,
00:54:39.960 and if you uh eliminate the need for high schools to prepare kids for a test then you allow education
00:54:48.820 to happen because there's a lot of really good teachers and there's plenty plenty plenty plenty
00:54:53.420 of resources for teachers to change their classroom all that you have to do is say hey
00:54:59.240 no more standardized tests this isn't no we're not going to do that anymore and if you did that
00:55:03.400 which other countries have done that if you do that the whole system changes because right now
00:55:08.600 when you go to a high school the majority of what they're advertising on the on the walls when you
00:55:13.480 look it up they're like number one in math in the district or number it's all about math it's all
00:55:17.360 about reading and writing and science there's nothing about oh yeah logan paul went to uh
00:55:21.860 westlake you know they don't do they have a poster of you up in the high school probably not like
00:55:28.220 they don't they don't have it's like don't be like this kid yeah they don't they don't put
00:55:31.800 that might be right that was a bad example okay but but they need to focus on like showing what
00:55:38.440 a successful human is but my question is like do good at testing but my question is those countries
00:55:44.080 that have gotten rid of standardized tests what did they replace them with because surely there
00:55:48.880 needs to be some sort of success metric they don't fully get rid of the testing necessarily
00:55:52.680 but they get rid of it being a metric that gets you into university so what would they replace
00:55:57.920 that with is what i'm saying um it's like in finland for example it's it's more about like
00:56:03.860 while you're young they identify what you want to do and they help you pursue it that's cool
00:56:09.080 so it's all individual yeah i like yeah because all the conversation we've had so far today
00:56:13.520 has been tricky because my thought of like the kid that's like in like third grade you're like
00:56:19.200 yo man like you could you could base your curriculum around whatever you want to be man
00:56:23.320 and he's just going to be like i want to be a turtle you know what i'm saying like oh like 1.00
00:56:26.920 i want to be a boom box you know what i'm saying like you can't you can't be those fucking things 0.98
00:56:32.000 so we can't create a curriculum but i like it i what you just said is great like try to help kids 0.97
00:56:36.860 find out what they want to do because to be honest with you i still don't know what i want to do and
00:56:40.440 by the way i still do want to be a turtle i'm still coming to grips with the fact that i can't 0.96
00:56:44.700 do that shit you can actually honestly it sucks virtual reality no dna dna resequencing i may 0.97
00:56:52.640 come back to the podcast next week i have a shell my head might pop out we're getting to a time where 1.00
00:56:57.600 you got to be careful what you tell kids they can't do like if you're like i want to be a turtle
00:57:01.320 And I'm like, wait, you can't actually
00:57:03.240 No, you could
00:57:04.220 You can put the turtles on it
00:57:06.480 That scene from
00:57:08.740 From Stepbrothers
00:57:11.180 Where he's like, my whole life
00:57:13.880 He's like, I grew up, I wanted to be a T-Rex
00:57:16.160 Right?
00:57:16.940 And then my dad said to me 1.00
00:57:19.140 Cut that shit out, you're 17 1.00
00:57:20.940 Get a fucking job, dude, now you can be 1.00
00:57:23.520 I bet you they can bring back 1.00
00:57:24.760 Extinct DNA from T-Rexes
00:57:28.360 And by the way, I'm sure the internet 0.99
00:57:29.980 don't fucking love this shit they could turn logan into a raptor yeah but he could just run around 0.99
00:57:34.480 short arms can't do any push-ups which isn't that different from right now to be honest in order to 1.00
00:57:38.500 get the dna in your system in order to get the dna into your system they had to put a finger in your 0.98
00:57:43.340 butt would you do it yeah no evan would do it no evan would be like please you don't even need to 1.00
00:57:49.800 give me any dna i just want the finger in my butt dude what kind of dna anything you want anything 0.99
00:57:57.720 do you want to be a say you want to be a chicken we could put a lemon limb in your chest a chicken 0.99
00:58:01.880 limb we know you're nasty at credit we know you have all the aspects of like being like the like
00:58:08.220 what you want to be but have you ever wanted to be cross species like would you want to cross
00:58:12.260 with different species who by the way still has credit power yeah honestly i still want i want to
00:58:17.480 be a turtle you there we go see bro what here's what's the thing first of all i was kidding about
00:58:23.080 Yeah, how cool would it be to just like you're anywhere and just like go home. You're just like go into your show
00:58:29.160 Wow, I never thought about it when I was a kid. I want turtle was my favorite animal and my favorite car was an RV
00:58:35.760 I was like how cool would be like I'm just driving
00:58:37.460 Those are still I could just go into my house
00:58:39.980 You're you're essentially built to be a turtle my fear with turtles is if you get somehow flipped on your back 1.00
00:58:45.820 You're fucked especially if you're my turtle pancake. He has no roll over ability. There's nothing there 1.00
00:58:52.200 But you can start watching Netflix.
00:58:53.980 Like if you're caught in a pickle, you're just like, yeah, I'm just going to go home.
00:58:57.040 That's the thing.
00:58:57.520 The home, let's be honest, is not that spacious, dude.
00:58:59.940 You don't know that.
00:59:00.700 Have you ever been inside a turtle's home?
00:59:02.420 He's got a good point.
00:59:03.420 He does have a good point.
00:59:04.440 And he always has good points.
00:59:05.940 Well, Spencer, did you – if you – I have to follow this question up with if you could combine any two animals and take it into battle, what would it be?
00:59:15.480 Wow.
00:59:19.200 Combine two?
00:59:19.820 Because we did –
00:59:20.380 Combine two.
00:59:21.560 Can I say mine while you think?
00:59:23.100 Yeah.
00:59:24.300 You know my favorite animal is the mantis shrimp.
00:59:26.220 The one, yeah.
00:59:27.220 And then mine was a giant bunny, wasn't it?
00:59:29.200 Yes, yours was a giant bunny.
00:59:30.960 Can I take that back?
00:59:32.240 No.
00:59:32.600 I'd say I'd combine the mantis shrimp and an elephant.
00:59:37.460 I'd make the mantis shrimp as big as an elephant.
00:59:40.160 So when he throws his hands, it's giant. 0.87
00:59:42.520 Death, dude.
00:59:43.980 Death in many, many numbers.
00:59:47.580 Would you say like a T-Rex?
00:59:48.940 t-rex is dead dude no he's coming we might we don't know he's gonna come back dude him and
00:59:54.840 little pumper about to do a collab do you have an answer can i say t-rex yeah i mean i guess
00:59:59.440 t-rex turtle oh my giant t-rex turtle that's incredible that's really good does the turtle
01:00:05.060 have a t-rex hat or does the t-rex have a shell and the t-rex have a giant shell that's sick
01:00:09.820 that's dope because you know that one of the biggest faults of the t-rex was its inability
01:00:14.960 to stop like arrow fire.
01:00:16.780 You know what I'm saying?
01:00:17.700 Like you used to run
01:00:18.280 into that issue constantly
01:00:19.720 because it has no
01:00:21.020 protective defenses
01:00:21.940 like the Abrams tank
01:00:23.340 or the German panther.
01:00:25.160 All right, guys.
01:00:26.040 Wait, wait.
01:00:26.400 You didn't get Spencer's answer.
01:00:27.540 Well, because I was really
01:00:28.400 only asking Steven.
01:00:29.380 Yeah, that's all right.
01:00:30.120 We'll save mine for the next show.
01:00:32.200 That's the best credit card.
01:00:33.720 Last question.
01:00:34.300 No, hold up.
01:00:34.700 Hold up.
01:00:34.960 Tell us on the audio only version.
01:00:36.240 That's a good one.
01:00:37.180 If you're watching this still,
01:00:38.860 it just blew my mind
01:00:40.460 to imagine you're still 1.00
01:00:41.260 fucking watching this. 0.98
01:00:42.100 Pay attention to the audio only. 0.99
01:00:43.580 It's going to be audio only.
01:00:44.640 it's exclusive on spotify and itunes it's called impulsive so steven thanks for joining us bro
01:00:48.780 thank you man of course follow him on instagram at credit uh and that's that's it why did you
01:00:55.300 why do you why did you write roku on a sign live what's or impulsive live on roku the app
01:01:01.440 really now that we know that you know that uh thanks for listening to this episode of
01:01:07.320 possible make sure to subscribe and uh like the video okay goodbye ah i love it yo so let me let
01:01:17.420 me let me preface the rest of this episode with the fact that i'm still not 100 and i and logan
01:01:24.680 says he is but i'm telling you dude i know for a fact he's not dude we went on a five to six day 1.00
01:01:30.580 bender he seems surprisingly sharp i'm not that's just my perspective thanks you're a fucking liar 1.00
01:01:35.100 No, I'm serious. 1.00
01:01:35.940 We went a five, six day bender on credit card points.
01:01:38.440 Okay.
01:01:39.080 To Hawaii, to a Hawaiian locale.
01:01:41.760 And I'll be honest.
01:01:42.900 I'll speak for myself.
01:01:43.740 I haven't fully recovered.
01:01:44.500 That's it.
01:01:45.280 There's a lot of good credit cards out there.
01:01:47.420 There's a lot of battling going on at the top.
01:01:49.980 It's a plastic on plastic war.
01:01:52.040 Some are made of titanium.
01:01:53.120 All have numbers.
01:01:54.500 Which one is the best card?
01:01:56.560 Some would say that it's the American express, uh, platinum.
01:02:00.900 Take the black card out of it.
01:02:02.000 Let's be honest. 1.00
01:02:02.540 Like, come on, let's fucking see it. 0.99
01:02:04.320 Get serious. 0.98
01:02:04.700 the platinum card is one and then the other one is the uh chase sapphire reserved now i've seen
01:02:11.420 these two battle it out like turtle dinosaurs for a long time now which one is the better
01:02:16.380 between those two or any well go if you have a different one that's outside of these two then
01:02:21.220 you did it right because you did it different those are both good cards um for the platinum
01:02:26.780 the one thing i would change i would get the charles schwab version of the platinum anyone
01:02:30.600 one can get that uh the charles schwab version of platinum lets you convert your mr points that
01:02:34.540 you earn into actual cash so i convert like 40 grand into cash for my points no but you can do
01:02:39.380 that you can't you do that on either you do it on sapphire oh on a on existing a normal platinum
01:02:44.720 you can't do that oh so like the schwab platinum allows you to have the flexibility of also
01:02:49.120 converting to cash and has all the same benefits of a normal platinum so that levels the playing
01:02:53.700 field between those two i would say it's a hard i would say that i would probably go with amex
01:02:58.520 amx just has like more pull between all the travel stuff like chase is like chase is good but amx
01:03:05.920 you'll get access to the centurion lounge like it's the only card that'll get you there like
01:03:09.900 the sapphire reserve um it gets you like priority pass but like uh the amx plan gets you access to
01:03:14.980 delta lounges and like centurion lounges whereas like sapphire reserve only gets you to like
01:03:19.520 priority pass which amx also gets you access to so just with like amx alone you get access to three
01:03:24.580 different brands of lounges you're just lounging at that point just just lounging and then so the 0.96
01:03:30.380 card that i would actually get would be city national um this one you gotta be shitting but 0.89
01:03:34.840 i have i have both of these i'm not gonna lie you got the city national debit i think right 0.65
01:03:38.780 so the city national crystal this one it gives you uh i believe it's 250 dollars of credit per
01:03:46.300 card but you can add an authorized user up to five and each of those five also get 250 dollars so
01:03:51.600 annual fees on this is $450. Hold on a second. You just said $250. Did you mean $250,000?
01:03:57.760 No, no. $250,000. $250 of travel credit. Oh, okay. So like this one, I can spend $250
01:04:05.500 on Delta and I'll get refunded at $250. And then I can add another authorized user for free and I
01:04:11.940 get another $250. I can do that up to five times. So like I get all my, like this card right here
01:04:16.100 alone is worth $1,250 to
01:04:17.820 $1,500 of travel.
01:04:19.940 How often? Like of actual cash.
01:04:22.040 You can go buy it on Delta, you can buy it on
01:04:24.120 United, buy it on American, and you'll get
01:04:26.120 that money back. So like for $4.50
01:04:28.120 you're already net positive
01:04:29.680 on something that's really liquid and really flexible.
01:04:34.340 Have you ever met the points
01:04:36.260 guy? I have not. Do you know who he is?
01:04:38.100 Would you want to fight him?
01:04:40.740 And I don't mean
01:04:41.980 like a boxing match, I mean like to the death. 0.99
01:04:44.020 like swords and shit like an old school cage magical with weapons 0.93
01:04:49.140 uh no i mean if you're gonna say she's saying on the show yeah no i don't think so i mean does 0.98
01:04:54.920 he want to fight me no i've heard i've seen this you ever carry cash on you um i carry cash for
01:05:01.360 like instagram just like what to flex cash oh yeah but okay but like i at most i'll just carry
01:05:08.340 20 bills when i'm in vegas i need a tip so like you can't tip with a credit card so i'll probably
01:05:12.740 carry like 500 bucks i'll just like give 20 to the valet and okay okay cool i've been trying to
01:05:17.440 get him to let us carry more uh cash like bricks yeah like blocks because and but then i always 0.55
01:05:24.140 remember that jay-z shit where he's like matt could help me with these we called people we 0.87
01:05:27.980 don't call that money over here yeah that line i always remember that but that said i still want 0.98
01:05:31.620 to buck the jay-z trend because pump has mad cash bro and he gets to smoke blunts out of riley reed's
01:05:37.040 toes that's no way all right vice versa who's no he does no riley smokes blunts on his toes
01:05:43.340 and you can't do that if you don't have blocks of cash probably that's that's is that that's true
01:05:48.040 no that is true that's true that's way true we had her on our show but i didn't smoke a blunt 0.99
01:05:51.800 out of her toe and i want to go back and and something tells me if you asked her she'd be
01:05:56.020 cool with it she will of course she will but i didn't think of it because pump pump let's be
01:05:59.580 honest pump is the is like the probably the greatest thinker he's a visionary in the flesh
01:06:05.340 i couldn't even keep steven bro thank you for coming on impulsive dude thank you that's it
01:06:09.780 that's all we got today ladies and gentlemen thanks for listening if you listen to it thank
01:06:12.660 you um follow him on instagram at credit he he he he got uh instagram guys i gotta go i gotta go
01:06:21.100 yeah all right we love you we'll see you next time bye see ya
