00:02:19.420 We've got some real, real issues out there.
00:02:22.060 But guess what?
00:02:22.680 You wake up.
00:02:23.500 And it's warm.
00:02:24.240 And it's warm.
00:02:24.840 Are you seriously considering the sun over everything you just said?
00:02:28.680 You would not believe how much the weather affects your mood.
00:02:33.440 Oh, no, I completely agree with that.
00:02:34.820 I mean, we have been here for three years in New York, and we've had seasonal depression fully.
00:02:38.780 We see why people are angry in New York.
00:02:40.600 Also, it makes you ugly living here. 0.98
00:02:42.200 Oh, yeah, really ugly. 0.87
00:02:43.980 It gives you wrinkles.
00:02:44.780 Inside and out.
00:02:45.360 Wrinkles.
00:02:45.680 the layers of fake tan everything is closed down socially you're not going to go out anywhere i
00:02:51.180 mean honestly people don't even want to get to know anybody anymore when you're in la like
00:02:54.660 everyone's kind of in their own circle true i feel like everyone's there for an ulterior motive
00:02:59.240 like what do you do followers like new york no one gives a shit everyone has their own little
00:03:03.320 identity here and honestly if you say you're an influencer it's kind of looked down upon
00:03:07.380 and not only that could you actually raise a family in la knowing that you have people
00:03:10.800 shitty on your lawn burglars um oh but thank god the sun yeah you could raise a tough family
00:03:16.780 you could raise a kid who's ready to wrassle i mean listen i don't think you're gonna have 0.60
00:03:21.880 like a street fighting kid saying he grew up in brentwood like i don't know if it's i don't
00:03:26.120 also mike's never starting a family especially because he's newly single so he's oh we've heard
00:03:33.660 we've heard sorry already mike was rage texting us today because i think mike is having a crash
00:03:40.020 out i am i am deep in a crash out is that why you were in this no i was just cold because it's not
00:03:49.000 la so i had to put a layer on but it's i understand you have a lot of guy friends we're honestly
00:03:53.440 obsessed with talking about relationships that's all we do on our podcast and honestly we're single
00:03:57.040 so so is this is this it right now is this well you're in like the five stages of breakup grief
00:04:02.060 right now you both are in rage no i'm not in rage at all um hold on a second she's rage baiting you
00:04:08.000 And so you're raging.
00:04:09.160 No, no, no, no.
00:04:09.720 You're already dating.
00:04:10.780 Someone can rage.
00:04:11.600 Somebody can rage bait you.
00:04:12.720 You don't have to rage back.
00:04:14.040 Like, like if you see the content that I've put out, it's been, I'm sad, which I very much am.
00:04:20.140 I was dating who I believe to be one of the most beautiful people.
00:04:24.040 And that's the content I've been putting out.
00:04:26.260 I didn't realize that I was going to be someone's 40 year old undiagnosed son.
00:04:31.540 Well, no, I'm not raging.
00:04:32.920 I'm just sad.
00:04:33.600 It's upsetting.
00:04:34.180 Can I say, as a viewer of your social media,
00:04:37.000 i have seen none of you being like nice and sympathetic towards the situation i it just
00:04:41.880 no not in a bad way but it just looks like you're partying and having fun eating burgers well like 0.69
00:04:46.220 if i was the girlfriend i'd be like fuck this guy so so let me totally fine so let me tell you why 0.90
00:04:51.160 this is difficult break breakups are one of the hardest things in the adult life truthfully i 0.97
00:04:59.500 mean pretty much anyone would say that it's it is your person's missing the person that you've
00:05:04.640 been with for the past two years is now gone you you wake up every single day you look at your
00:05:09.000 phone the first thing you do is you grab your phone in the morning you look for that good
00:05:12.820 morning babe text and it's not there and every day you know your heart drops because you've been
00:05:18.020 used to seeing that for so long it's a very sad feeling right and by the way just to kick off
00:05:22.440 right off the start here because i know a lot of people watching this episode are feeling this
00:05:26.880 breakups are very prevalent especially in march which we'll talk about we'll talk about the march
00:05:30.340 three you're gonna be you're gonna be okay you're gonna be okay it's going to well and I always say
00:05:36.380 I've had heart surgery so I always talk about like hearts as a resemblance for relationships and I
00:05:40.420 always say when your heart breaks scar tissue builds up patching it up but there's still a
00:05:45.200 scar tissue you know it's still very vulnerable it's still wounded it's still and I think especially
00:05:51.660 as you get older relationships are so selective like I don't Sissy and I are very picky about
00:05:57.220 who we date we are mostly single than we are in relationships and we don't date that which is
00:06:01.260 ironic because all we do is talk about relationships so think i'm in the same i'm in the same boat
00:06:05.840 like it's 10 years when it's two years when you're 40 years old it's like i totally understand but i
00:06:09.820 want to touch on the point that you guys called me out on yeah no matter what i feel like i have
00:06:14.740 a career i have to wake up every day i've got multiple revenue streams businesses that need
00:06:20.280 to be run podcast i gotta sit down and bring good energy yeah and do you know how hard that is when
00:06:24.640 you feel terrible and you're walking into a room and you're you're you don't feel great you know
00:06:29.900 so but i've got in years of working with my friend here i've gotten very good at putting on
00:06:35.700 a face i mean he's been through he's been through so much too and right yeah you have to show up
00:06:40.940 you got to compartmentalizing i feel like is is such a strength if you can do it yeah i agree and
00:06:46.480 it's hard i think especially with this where people really do look up to you for a lot of
00:06:49.760 inspiration and they do also want you to talk very vulnerably about your personal lives as a
00:06:55.360 way to like gain strength from what you do so it's like how do you compartmentalize your personal
00:06:59.700 life without getting so invested and warped up where you look like you're failing but you're
00:07:04.000 also strong it's like you have without hurting their feelings sofia and i were talking about
00:07:07.800 this the other day we said isn't it so strange how you literally go from strangers with someone
00:07:12.240 to best friends to lovers to being intimate to enemies it's like that's weird it's horrible
00:07:17.860 it's what i told mike is and and part of like the psychological reason why i feel like breakups are
00:07:22.780 so difficult is because um what do they say 30 days to form a habit 90 days to form a behavior
00:07:28.360 yeah if you're in a long-term relationship this person is like part of your behavior oh yeah
00:07:32.420 like absolutely it's all you know and love those morning texts is like that's part of the routine 0.91
00:07:36.280 everything all of a sudden one day it's gone it's it's it's it's kind of fucked up it might 0.75
00:07:42.180 kind of like sorry i'm just i'm i'm sorry to hear you growing through it um no listen i'm i'm i'm 0.83
00:07:49.540 okay i'm i'm gonna be okay the the toughness with this one is and and by the way i bring these
00:07:55.960 topics up because they're very very applicable oh yeah like these are just stepping stones for us
00:08:00.760 to have great conversation today right a lot of people watching us are going through the same
00:08:03.820 thing you know how prevalent breakup tiktok is and relationship problem tiktok is you guys talk
00:08:08.560 about this stuff all the time one of the hardest things about this particular one for me is like
00:08:13.060 all of my other breakups or a lot of them were like okay one of us is going to die this relationship
00:08:18.780 like this has gotten like literally yes like this has gotten some of them were during drug time
00:08:25.100 some of them were not but like this has gotten this has gotten toxic and and someone is you know
00:08:30.540 we're saying mean things to each other so on and so forth this one is like very amicable which is
00:08:35.900 really has been really difficult because there's no catalyst yeah beyond the fact that we just
00:08:42.020 cannot stop fighting right and we've been doing that for like i feel like i'm gonna get so open
00:08:48.200 today and i maybe that's okay i'm not i'm not saying i'm not anything anything bad because
00:08:52.000 like i said i do love her but like we we i think for so long i i was i was thinking that
00:08:59.380 these fights were a result of like her you know short temper or latino or age or whatever well
00:09:08.300 you said she's an aries that's definitely a part or those things but but more so lately i've been
00:09:14.040 exploring this i really want to talk about it today is is how different we are from an attachment
00:09:19.200 style standpoint oh and so what's your attachment style do you want to guess are you avoidant i am
00:09:25.180 on that part of the spectrum okay and she's very anxious exactly yeah so you guys know both you
00:09:32.100 know we met her but you've met her yeah we've talked so so for anybody watching this let's
00:09:37.760 talk about the four yeah attachment types you've got secure attachment type which represents about
00:09:42.760 66 percent of people in the world right they do they and a lot of this is based on how you were
00:09:47.600 brought up as a kid so they do well with relationships with intimacy with emotional
00:09:51.480 sharing with vulnerability on the left side of that is anxious uh people who are anxiously
00:09:58.380 attached yeah these people had some sort of upbringing you know differential and they need
00:10:03.940 a they need a little bit of added reassurance in relationships because they are they are worried
00:10:09.420 and scared of abandonment okay on the flip side and the people who get the most heat on social
00:10:16.800 media okay is the avoidant and a lot of times this ends up being guys they are they have commitment
00:10:22.740 issues they ghost as soon as there's a fight or an argument of any kind and these are usually
00:10:28.200 results of upbringing issues as well because maybe they weren't given the right amount of care
00:10:32.700 from their caregivers whatever it is right and then there's another one called disorganized which
00:10:36.900 we don't have to get into but the thing about it is like everybody wants to be termed as an avoidant
00:10:41.440 and anxious but it's a spectrum it's totally it's a spectrum and so you can end up i i veer
00:10:46.520 slightly avoidant but i show up i post i don't hide anything i'm always there i send all the
00:10:53.480 flowers and i i work at it and it's hard for me it is yeah but when you team and avoid enough with
00:10:58.360 an anxious which is the majority as you guys know is the majority of relationships right it can be
00:11:03.140 very difficult but i will say i do commend you guys for taking this not separation or break but
00:11:08.720 like separating because i think a lot of people struggle with okay so you say it takes 90 days
00:11:13.240 to form a habit so your guys's habit is fighting and that's how you depend on each other and that
00:11:18.140 is now your conversation and a lot of people fear the unknown right so being single is more of a
00:11:25.180 fear than actually sticking to a relationship even though it's so tumultuous they would rather
00:11:29.380 stay in something they're so familiar with than actually breaking off and growing because every
00:11:33.800 time you do break off it hurts it sucks but you do always feel like you like you grow as a human
00:11:39.780 being even more so so I do as much as it's so hard after two years to not have that person that
00:11:45.160 wakes up to you every single day you're not even realizing the person you're going to become and
00:11:49.120 you're going to attract someone that is so much more aligned to you and she's going to attract
00:11:53.560 someone's more more aligned to him it's gotten to the point where you have confused conflict with
00:11:59.180 love and you've confused passion with love passion with love or anger yelling with it shows how much
00:12:05.340 i care about you yep and at the end of the day none of that really matters like do you want to
00:12:11.620 wake up because this is the worst part of the relationship is when you break up and you only
00:12:15.340 remember the good and you only remember the sweet sex and you only remember like wake up and you 0.99
00:12:19.500 only remember the great sex and that's all you can think about but think about all of the stupid 0.99
00:12:23.800 things that maybe she got on you about things that you had a boundary and she kept pushing 0.99
00:12:27.520 things that you pushed on her boundaries the buttons that you guys would hit his tolerance
00:12:31.300 for that is abnormally high really abnormal abnormally high mine's so low i just want to
00:12:37.460 say one thing while we're on this topic because i feel like i feel like it's important and i'm
00:12:40.920 i'm very lucky to have found a person who uh embodies this characteristic that i feel like
00:12:46.380 is the solution to a lot of what we're talking about um it's like a it's a it's honestly a hack
00:12:52.420 for women and uh i'm curious if you guys have this quality but um the quality of being conflict 0.91
00:12:59.740 avert oh my god like like you don't want fucking problems and also why like you're not here to 0.93
00:13:07.720 create problems you're here to create solutions and bring us both up the mountain together exactly 0.99
00:13:13.020 i'm not saying this about his his girl but like in some of my past relationships like i've i've
00:13:18.340 always felt like i was like the problem and then i realized i'm a little bit of it for sure because
00:13:24.980 i i kind of like conflict right but um man when i found nina it was so refreshing to have been
00:13:31.620 with a girl who like doesn't cause issues right yeah and it's easy it's so easy you don't have
00:13:37.020 to be angry or cry or yell in a relationship what are we doing you can just enjoy and i don't believe
00:13:42.440 you actually are going to find that for a long time oh yeah so many of those crisis relationships
00:13:46.100 you're like who is it's all i've ever had that's all you know and then all of a sudden you meet
00:13:50.040 and it's truly this your best friend that genuinely just goes i just want to sit with you
00:13:54.500 and just hang out i do think it is a generational curse if you will like just seeing how your
00:14:00.320 parents may be communicated in a relationship and showed love and then perhaps it's one of those
00:14:04.580 things that you can either continue that cycle and think that fighting is love or you are the
00:14:09.460 one that breaks the cycle breaks the generational curse like oh okay actually i'm gonna not do what
00:14:13.940 they did and find something different more wholesome i also believe your cups both have to
00:14:19.000 be full true i always say this is where's your cup at mike where's your cup i have so much work
00:14:23.400 to do i'm i have so much work to do and also like truthfully like i also i mean that in two ways i
00:14:29.740 mean on myself but i also mean on the planet like truthfully like i i have been i spoke with logan
00:14:35.600 about this maybe maybe now's a good time yeah i had a uh medium reach out to me last week
00:14:42.300 a medium, a breathwork coach,
00:14:44.940 someone that I've worked with in the past.
00:14:46.240 I've just done breathwork with her,
00:14:47.560 but it was about five years ago.
00:14:49.200 Okay, her name's Hela.
00:14:50.380 I'll say her name.
00:14:51.540 She's just, from a little bit more context,
00:14:53.760 Lucas Mack, who's Jake's breathwork coach
00:14:56.660 for all of his fights.
00:14:58.300 It's his partner.
00:14:59.940 They're like kind of in the circle
00:15:01.160 and they're both very good at what they do.
00:15:02.320 Amazing, like amazing breathwork.
00:15:03.660 But I hadn't spoken with her at all.
00:15:05.200 And she reached out to me
00:15:06.580 while I was traveling in Austin last week
00:15:08.140 getting stem cells.
00:15:08.860 And she said, hey, I really need to meet with you.
00:15:12.300 Is there a time that we can meet?
00:15:14.020 And I said, yeah, I'm traveling right now.
00:15:15.420 I'll be back home Monday.
00:15:16.520 You can come over, whatever.
00:15:17.920 So Monday night comes along.
00:15:19.080 She takes this like $260 Uber on her own dime to my house and shows up at the door, sits
00:15:24.240 on the couch.
00:15:24.740 We talk for like five minutes and she's like, hey, I have to tell you something right now
00:15:27.760 that's going to be a little bit heavy.
00:15:29.260 Like, are you ready to hear it?
00:15:30.880 And like when I get in the room with like mediums and stuff like that, like I start 1.00
00:15:33.980 to get a little bit scared, tense, right? 1.00
00:15:35.640 Of course.
00:15:36.240 Yeah.
00:15:36.300 I am a Christian.
00:15:37.140 You've heard the chaos.
00:15:38.400 Now you can see it.

00:16:28.080 Yes, sometimes we even talk about just everyday mundane situations in our lives,
00:16:32.540 like the cool Uber driver we just had.
00:16:34.840 Or the food we just ate that was surprisingly delicious.
00:16:38.120 Or we'll talk about the Met Gala and the looks that they wore.

00:17:21.780 Would you say a D-less actor?
00:17:25.240 D?
00:17:27.220 I don't even know there's such a thing as D.
00:17:29.060 No, no, no.
00:17:29.720 I mean like.
00:17:30.220 I can't even get on the C-list.
00:17:31.160 Like I'm not even average.
00:17:32.020 I'm not even passing.
00:17:32.980 I'm failing.
00:17:33.480 Listen to No Safe Words with October and Tony Gonzalez, part of My Cultura Podcast Network.
00:17:39.180 Available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:17:45.160 I think about this thing and that thing.
00:17:48.540 And she goes, when you were going through all your drug stuff and the trauma in your life,
00:17:55.060 she goes, do you think that you ever passed at any point to the other side?
00:17:59.760 And I was like, I mean, I've been on life support so many times.
00:18:03.280 and so many accidents and i would assume like i would assume maybe it could be possible and she's
00:18:08.420 like so so you have she goes you you 100 have seen the other side um and i was meditating on
00:18:17.840 this last week after a friend of mine passed she told me and she said and i kept seeing your face
00:18:22.220 so i meditated deeper and she said um i have i have been told to bring you the message that you
00:18:29.700 are the voice for the people who have passed from addiction and mental illness you are their
00:18:34.300 voice on earth you are their mouthpiece you are their legs their body since they don't have that
00:18:39.900 anymore and they want to let you know that you're protected you have been sent on this mission you've
00:18:45.440 been sent back on this mission she almost called it like as like an angelic grim reaper she said
00:18:50.180 to bring this message home that's so powerful it it shook me very very deeply to my core like
00:18:58.280 truthfully to have this message of affirmation on something that i'm so deeply about to really
00:19:05.000 roll into obviously i already have a best-selling book about it which i would love to have featured
00:19:08.240 on the book club at some point yeah yeah yeah definitely of course but but like to have that
00:19:13.840 affirmation of of something that is is is in my core the only thing i ever felt passionate about
00:19:18.160 my life which is helping people right that that struggle with that and so when i say i have a lot
00:19:23.000 to work on and how it affects my relationships i don't mean just internally i mean i have a lot to
00:19:27.340 do. And, and that is another obstacle when you're trying to share a life with somebody because I
00:19:34.700 have a lot of work to do. Yeah. Right. I tell you, that's actually something interesting and not to
00:19:37.860 get too astrology based, but just to kind of give you a context, but why 2025 is really,
00:19:43.660 really interesting is Pluto is one of the farthest from the sun and it just represents like death
00:19:48.060 and rebirth, right? For 16 years, it's been in Capricorn, which is all about grinding work,
00:19:53.300 money, building, like building your empire, right? So for the first time in 16 years,
00:19:58.280 it's an Aquarius, which is very eccentric, free-spirited, but very humanitarian.
00:20:03.680 Everything is about helping your family, helping the masses, wanting to grow generationally.
00:20:08.660 And it's really interesting that this woman approached you to let you know that this is
00:20:13.680 your mission, especially for 2025, that you have to be in this mindset of helping the people,
00:20:19.740 because that's all what Aquarius is, is that they're very innovative and it's more technology
00:20:25.240 based. And it's kind of ironic with everything that's going on in our government as well with
00:20:28.680 technology and that whole thing with Elon and ChachiBT and Sam, whatever. But I just think it's
00:20:35.060 sorry, but I think it's just interesting that that happened with the whole Pluto thing. But it's
00:20:38.840 it felt very aligned when I just heard that you said that. And I feel like a lot of people are
00:20:43.020 kind of in this realm right now in 2025. It's like, what is the next big stuff that I can make
00:20:47.620 it even bigger but like more people see it but it helps them and it's i don't know and it just
00:20:52.740 it feels very serendipitous to hear that that was meant to be that's the way and that's the word i
00:20:57.240 mean i remember when i told the story about how i kept running into people before on site as well
00:21:01.160 and it was this really like god-given situation to keep it on relationships how much do you guys
00:21:08.260 believe that horoscopes play a role in matchmaking i'll tell you this a first date hates to see us
00:21:14.920 coming yeah what is your sign and every time oh you're that kind of girl listen believe it if you
00:21:21.420 want by the way we grew up with this stuff our grandma was an astrologist sly had crystals the
00:21:26.560 size of children we'd have to walk around in our home like we grew up on this he lives on it he
00:21:31.420 loves it i'm sorry you call him sly yes we do how about this sly we love you is so nuts that when
00:21:38.640 my little sister was being born my mom was induced into labor and he told the doctors hold off for
00:21:45.020 one more day i want her to be a gemini so he kept her in the belly one more day so she's the gemini
00:21:50.520 that's can i can i tell you really quickly and i want i just want to give you guys your flowers
00:21:54.380 right now you you guys have created such a force and such a knowledge base and such a and your
00:22:01.520 energies and your your your approach to all this is so big that we've made it you know 20 plus
00:22:08.500 minutes into this podcast without mentioning the fact that your father is sylvester oh yeah
00:22:12.100 like that is not even close to the first thing that came off okay one of the greatest actors
00:22:18.920 in the history of the universe he does all right he does all right he's fine you guys are the stars
00:22:24.620 now no it's crazy i mean it's kind of cool because we're kind of trying to pave our own path with
00:22:28.880 having that name and we're kind of figuring out our own steps but yeah i mean my god the shoes
00:22:32.840 are massive to fill yeah i mean it's nice that we're girls i think that's what helps a lot that's
00:22:36.940 i wanted to ask about this um i do feel like we should do an intro just really quick so yeah
00:22:41.760 for those of you who have not figured it out it's the stallone sisters
00:22:45.720 sofia and sistine uh yeah thanks for joining us we normally do it at the beginning but
00:22:51.640 okay we're back uh okay i just had a daughter i just had a daughter congratulations today's
00:22:57.780 her half birthday six months old that is huge and can i just say sistine and i were talking
00:23:03.180 about this this morning we're like oh my god wait he has a daughter and i thought oh my god it'd be
00:23:07.380 kind of cool to share what our dad did with us that really we loved as daughters with our relationship
00:23:13.280 with our father to tell you ladies yeah i was going to ask okay great please i do want i do
00:23:19.100 want to say this um my parents always said i love that you have a daughter because boys when they
00:23:24.660 hit a certain age and they find their wife or their girlfriend whatever they don't really need 1.00
00:23:28.060 their parents anymore like they just leave i can relate but women are forever yeah like the
00:23:32.700 daughters are forever i love you guys no but it's true and that's fine it's just the way it is but
00:23:36.500 daughters are forever they always come back home to their mom yeah they always need their mom and
00:23:39.920 dad that's really sweet but i was thinking about this and i mentioned this you know i was like wait
00:23:43.180 this is something i really want to tell you because growing up my dad raised us like boys
00:23:48.700 like i think that was the biggest thing when he saw us he didn't see us and go oh she's gonna love
00:23:53.360 clothes makeup all the girly stuff if we looked like boys i will tell you he respects the hell
00:23:58.140 out of you because of wwe we grew up on summer slam no way oh yeah randy my dad was an undertaker
00:24:04.760 he's so i had the biggest crush on triple h like we lived so my point was is that he involved us
00:24:13.480 in his world without separating us being like oh they wouldn't care about it we grew up playing
00:24:17.260 golf shot put wwe comic books like loved it so what i'm saying to you is if you feel like you
00:24:23.760 can't relate to your daughter just bring her into your world show her everything that you love and
00:24:28.080 i'm telling you we've become very well-rounded because we can think like a guy and a girl now
00:24:32.280 like we can relate to you guys on literally the bro-iest stuff but that's only because he was
00:24:36.960 like honestly the only thing i want my daughters to do is throw a shot put smoke a cigar and
00:24:41.640 that's how we really bonded when i was like 17 i go okay what does he love to do watch ufc every
00:24:46.920 saturday and smoke a cigar so what did we do started smoking cigarellos and watching ufc
00:24:50.800 every saturday for like four years from like high school and college yep you guys are gangsters
00:24:55.680 no we love it i mean you can't be raised by him inherently though are you must not be like
00:25:01.220 girly girls right definitely not i mean kind of no we've become more so but no we were more rough
00:25:06.480 like my dad would always teach how to throw a punch we were softball he took down our jungle
00:25:10.780 gym and replaced it with a softball cage like a batting cage like everything was much more
00:25:15.180 masculine we had bow and arrows in the
00:25:17.180 backyard like that was how we actually had to be fit
00:25:19.340 I want to say something
00:25:21.100 I don't want this to be taken the
00:25:23.240 wrong way because like I feel like 0.99
00:25:24.660 to raise your daughter like a lady
00:25:27.100 and like a woman even 0.97
00:25:29.140 if that is like more feminine is not a bad
00:25:31.320 thing there's a lot of power in that 0.56
00:25:32.900 but I asked this girl
00:25:35.260 named Jaden
00:25:36.820 she has a YouTube channel called Jaden Animations
00:25:39.020 Mr. Beast invited a bunch of YouTubers in this
00:25:41.180 glass box to compete for a million dollars
00:25:42.840 very successful YouTuber
00:25:45.120 we're trapped in this box so in between challenges i i asked her i was like hey like i'm about to
00:25:51.020 have a daughter can you give me advice on like what it takes to raise a young woman to be
00:25:55.500 successful like you did and she said the same exact thing you just said is that crazy she said
00:26:01.140 my dad didn't raise me like a girl yeah yep and she didn't she didn't feel like her gender affected
00:26:07.160 like anything no because we still loved clothes make like clearly we loved doing our hair we
00:26:12.100 but our morning routine was insane for a fourth grader did you dump your head in ice water i'll
00:26:17.060 tell you five years starting in like the second grade almost through high school honestly forever
00:26:22.640 until we can wake us up at school start at eight he'd wake us up at 6 a.m come downstairs we'd
00:26:27.280 have to do 20 push-ups 20 setups 20 clean and jerks and if we didn't snap correct we'd have
00:26:34.460 to start over we would uh go to the backyard and shoot yeah we'd do shot put because he wanted us
00:26:39.280 to break the record for shot put.
00:26:40.700 Who does shot put?
00:26:41.540 That's crazy.
00:26:42.380 Oh, I lost, I got second place,
00:26:43.720 he didn't talk to me for a week.
00:26:44.560 And then we put, no, I swear to God.
00:26:46.040 Second grade!
00:26:46.880 Also, you guys don't really have the frame for shot put.
00:26:50.020 No, I don't know, we don't!
00:26:51.820 I was like, chicks that were like 300 pounds.
00:26:54.180 Then we would throw a pun. 0.73
00:26:55.560 Steady white chick here, I'm like no. 1.00
00:26:57.040 We'd have to memorize combinations, 0.90
00:26:58.360 and then we'd do combinations, and then...
00:27:00.360 Memorize Edgar Allan Poe.
00:27:01.760 Well, that was after school.
00:27:02.920 What, sorry?
00:27:03.760 The Raven.
00:27:04.600 The Raven, yeah.
00:27:05.440 Into a tape recorder.
00:27:07.120 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:27:07.960 And then before we left for school, he would make us like four eggs each.
00:27:11.860 I hated eggs.
00:27:12.680 I can't eat eggs to this day.
00:27:13.880 I'd vomit.
00:27:14.580 He'd make me another plate. 1.00
00:27:15.560 I'm like, fuck. 1.00
00:27:16.140 Oh, my God. 1.00
00:27:16.920 How much of that routine do you think is part of the reason why you guys are so successful?
00:27:22.820 A lot of it.
00:27:23.560 Oh, yeah.
00:27:23.800 A lot of it.
00:27:24.940 It taught us how to have hard work and also keep ourselves accountable.
00:27:28.520 We were very active.
00:27:29.500 I think also it really installed us how to be healthy, working out what it takes to be the best.
00:27:34.240 And our parents didn't come from anything.
00:27:35.580 like both of them were yeah new money ground up my dad was living on the street in new york my mom
00:27:41.160 has like no parents one is seven in minnesota like both and she raised her she started her own
00:27:46.480 company made billion dollars yeah billion dollars in sales okay i know just then yeah and she's
00:27:51.760 beautiful and the best mom ever so yeah and it's crazy so we were raised with really like like you
00:27:56.260 guys super ambitious people and they instilled that in us and always reminded us you know
00:28:00.880 everything isn't handed to you and that was like a big part of it too yeah how do you stay that
00:28:06.380 ambitious knowing that you have such big shoes to fill like like did you ever feel like the pressure
00:28:13.020 was too much all the time all the time yeah we were always trying to be really perfect especially
00:28:17.160 growing up and I think that we still have that innately in us but I think what really helped us
00:28:21.940 today is finding our own avenue like Sistine's now being a screenwriter and she does a lot of
00:28:26.120 things on the side that like he is not involved in I just finished my first romance novel like
00:28:29.680 that's going to be my new avenue and i think having our own paths and our own voices and also
00:28:34.480 this podcast like that has nothing to do with him it has everything to do with us has really gave us
00:28:38.600 the confidence and i think they taught us you know expand your world expand your circle like don't
00:28:42.880 just stay in the i think also not being in the social media world super young was a big idea
00:28:47.980 like we didn't get involved until after college we didn't part well we weren't invited actually
00:28:53.100 wait wait i just remembered oh my god we have to say something this is such crazy timing coincidence 0.56
00:29:00.300 with you logan i think i know what you're gonna say no no no no this is so bad this is nuts you
00:29:05.180 guys yesterday on my photos app in my phone you know they do like four years ago today whatever
00:29:11.940 right i got one eight years ago today i click on it who's the photo us three us three us three
00:29:18.680 we've met and I was like wait what what are the odds we're seeing you tomorrow we already have
00:29:23.360 a photo with you so then I was going into my Rolodex I'm like where was this from year 2017
00:29:28.200 it was some Dolce & Gabbana event in LA we took like a party bus to a club we were all underage
00:29:34.920 but they rented it out here's the craziest part all I remember is that we were on this party bus
00:29:40.440 and you were so nice yeah and that I never forget are you sure yeah I promise you I would tell you 0.99
00:29:47.120 forgot that actually i would tell you if you're an asshole for sure oh yeah um you were really 0.96
00:29:50.680 friendly and we were just like so shy i didn't say anything you were just so friendly to everyone 0.99
00:29:55.020 you were kind of in like this like eccentric phase i think in your life because you were like
00:29:59.860 he was definitely like the peak where it was like blogging a lot so that was five that was five
00:30:11.280 years ago no i have i have photos oh you're dabbing in the video i was dabbing in the oh yeah
00:30:16.580 i have it it's amazing can i please see it yeah go grab it where is it it's so funny
00:30:22.200 could that have been 2022 no no no it was it was earlier it was 2017 yeah no it was
00:30:28.600 well how did you guys that was that was eight years ago yeah that's insane oh i thought you
00:30:33.920 said sorry that's insane no it was crazy but you were so nice to us on the bus you were just
00:30:38.380 like you weren't being loud or anything you're just like hey like you were so fun and you know
00:30:41.960 what we meet a lot of people a lot of like kids especially in this position and they're all so
00:30:46.080 mean and we don't like we never forget someone that was really name some of the mean ones
00:30:49.480 when the camera's cut you know who they are you know you know what while you look for that picture
00:30:54.820 you know what i thought you were gonna say um oh god did we date someone you know no thank god
00:30:59.560 actually actually yeah probably actually probably i think you might have
00:31:05.040 no no no i was gonna say uh your podcast yeah uh um i believe my fiance was supposed to come on it

00:33:36.740 I was so bitter that day.
00:33:37.960 Yeah, Nina canceled.
00:33:38.660 Nina canceled.
00:33:39.260 but it's okay because we had four other guests that day so yeah it was okay we were just upset
00:33:44.000 because we're like so excited to meet her and have her on and then she canceled the morning
00:33:47.780 up and we're like oh does she not want to go on do you know why she canceled she said she was sick
00:33:53.280 i think she said she was sick that's not true oh i know what do you know what that was the morning
00:33:59.120 we met oh you're lying wait that's okay i forget you guys okay you can totally cancel again hold
00:34:07.120 We've been, like, invisible string theory for a long time now.
00:34:10.280 That's insane.
00:34:11.400 Isn't that crazy?
00:34:12.040 Oh, I'll allow it.
00:34:12.960 Wait, sorry.
00:34:13.760 Wait, does that mean, like, you were, like, hanging out in her apartment or something?
00:34:17.020 Yeah, she's like, wait, you're not crazy.
00:34:20.760 That's so funny.
00:34:21.700 Okay, so.
00:34:22.240 Okay, if she had said that, I would, like, bet.
00:34:23.620 Was this 2021?
00:34:24.860 No, no, 2022.
00:34:25.640 That's what it was.
00:34:26.180 And we flew to New York.
00:34:28.220 We're still living in L.A.
00:34:29.060 And we booked, like, a bunch of guests in L.A., like, New York, just, like, half on.
00:34:32.800 And Nina was, like, the first one.
00:34:34.180 And so we're ready.
00:34:34.980 We're excited.
00:34:35.320 We have our thing out.
00:34:35.960 and all of a sudden we get a call like she's sick she can't come in and we're so upset
00:34:39.760 now we have like the studios i was more upset that's not what i would say
00:34:44.280 wait that's amazing i know i just wanted to see your workout routine but this is way better
00:34:50.160 yeah i was like she was like she was like yeah i was supposed to do their podcast and i canceled
00:34:54.560 because it was the morning i met you i was like what that is that's crazy what a full
00:35:00.260 Can we talk more about that meeting, too?
00:35:04.040 Because I'd love to get into more dating stuff.
00:35:06.420 Wait, but I really want to show this.
00:35:07.760 That's insane.
00:35:08.960 Already insane.
00:35:11.680 No, is that a video?
00:35:12.820 Oh, it's a video.
00:35:13.640 Oh, no.
00:35:14.460 Oh, my God.
00:35:17.060 Wampa.
00:35:17.840 No way.
00:35:19.440 It's not your way.
00:35:20.720 It's not your way. 1.00
00:35:21.200 Shut up. 0.99
00:35:21.840 I have pictures, too. 1.00
00:35:23.200 Shut up. 0.95
00:35:24.680 Well, we're going to put them on the screen. 0.99
00:35:26.360 Yeah.
00:35:27.420 Oh, my God.
00:35:29.000 hit the dab so hard shut the hair is oh my god the hair swoop was going off yeah wow guys i know
00:35:43.340 we have one year ago history i know is that crazy because when and this was last night us sitting
00:35:48.840 on their couch that popped up i know i'm surprised things are happening right now i know yeah something
00:35:53.100 this is crazy crazy crazy whoa whoa crazy what now all right no anyway the past something that
00:36:02.860 logan wanted to forget about that era of his life this is like podcast full circle like her on ours 0.70
00:36:08.360 cancelling meets you us on yours it's insane serendipity weird yeah it really is serendipity
00:36:13.060 and now you guys have a reality show we had a reality i know why did you guys accept that
00:36:19.400 because it's no by the way very way better yeah ours is kind of great yours looks really fun uh
00:36:24.980 uh thanks thank you for that um it we didn't accept it we pitched it so we were offered it
00:36:32.120 and we're like i don't know why we're doing oh really yeah no i the the short-ish version is
00:36:37.320 because like with youtube that era yeah my life wasn't interesting enough to like like i don't
00:36:44.560 know get like a traditional tv show right i had to manufacture content which is why i was so 0.97
00:36:48.540 eccentric it's like like energy oh damn damn stupid erica right uh it worked but yeah it 0.97
00:36:54.560 worked it definitely worked i faked it till i made it and i felt like at some point my life 0.99
00:37:01.600 got interesting enough where i was like this feels like and this is going to sound arrogant
00:37:06.760 coming from me but i try to look at like stories like as objectively as possible but looking at my
00:37:12.160 life from the outside i went you know what have the fiance now brother's got the speed skating
00:37:17.660 olympic girlfriend i'm about to be a dab wwe champion on the i was like you know what i think
00:37:24.020 i'm at a point where like this is and i think it's an interesting story yeah and i have this like
00:37:28.300 i feel compelled to document i have since i was like nine and so i'm like you know what if i could
00:37:34.200 document on like a bigger format with my family and finally come together with my brother who
00:37:39.320 we've never like really done anything together right i think we could tell a pretty interesting
00:37:43.480 story i think it's a great idea we always described ours as the greatest home movie ever
00:37:48.040 yeah yeah something you're gonna look back with all your kids and your parents and you're like
00:37:52.100 yeah and now we did that engaged he's engaged you guys are killing it we need to step up i know
00:37:59.380 thanks guys what are some challenges that they could look forward to being a part of you know
00:38:05.180 everyone has an opinion but i feel like you guys are so well they're already out there like how
00:38:08.740 how about on the industry like on the production side i think what we really honed in on was
00:38:13.560 making sure we had creative control yeah we really made sure we had editing rights that
00:38:17.280 things weren't manipulated we had our fingers in every single yeah we're like i did the scoring
00:38:21.900 for the show we sat in the editing bay for eight hours for every episode like we were like everything
00:38:27.280 that you know what though because it's will be why has so you know such a long prolific career
00:38:33.680 right and we didn't want to come out with anything that would taint it or ruin it like yeah you don't
00:38:39.860 want uh him to be remembered because he had that really crappy reality show yeah so if we were
00:38:44.900 going to do it we wanted to do it right and um what we loved about ours is he really wanted to
00:38:49.840 break the fourth wall so it kind of felt like office style where he'd look into the camera
00:38:53.240 and like make a face yeah um i would say the the hardest part is pushing back i mean but you guys
00:38:59.940 the difference is it's like they you're used to this stuff they're so themselves already on the
00:39:04.340 internet whereas we're we have to keep some things to ourself just to protect our family and like
00:39:08.700 what would you say what would you say that split is between what you're willing to show to the
00:39:13.980 public and the side of your life that you want to keep personal percentage well relationships were
00:39:19.660 oh my god that was the biggest dump me for that oh god panic attacks yeah yeah it's just i think
00:39:26.980 what's hard is like we're not so in the public eye where our personal lives can be meshing well
00:39:31.940 with the public life like our relationships none of them wanted to be on the show like you guys
00:39:36.000 have relationships that would be open to doing it and supporting it even if she didn't want to do it
00:39:39.940 like she didn't want to do it but she's like i still i love you i support you like this is your
00:39:43.840 life like i know what i'm marrying into we didn't have that support and i think also having to
00:39:49.100 navigate his past and knowing like how much he wanted to expose like that was really hard because
00:39:53.860 he is the story like it's him it's the stallone family you know what tv gold is everyone would
00:39:58.080 love to see the child of acting erratic and drunk yeah yeah yeah and we're so not that
00:40:04.420 we're in bed by nine o'clock but you turn up sometimes no i enjoyed it but they would say
00:40:14.240 stuff like okay i want you to like get really drunk skinny dip into your pool and call your
00:40:18.660 and i was like no like no even though it would be tv gold they would eat oh yeah that's great but i 0.54
00:40:25.100 want to be a mom one day i don't want them to be like mom what was this what moms don't girls
00:40:30.140 i'll do i'll do that but it'll be unprompted because see that's you've already done it
00:40:37.680 you're used to doing yeah that's true yeah like you're already doing skydives and backflips we're
00:40:42.260 trying to get a husband we can't be out there doing crazy i want to ask about that for a second
00:40:46.680 And I also want to let Mike speak.
00:40:48.100 But I am curious, just really quickly, because you keep calling him sly.
00:40:51.360 Oh, yeah.
00:40:51.800 That doesn't bother him?
00:40:53.120 No.
00:40:53.540 You know what?
00:40:54.320 It's like he's surpassed father.
00:40:56.880 He's just like sly.
00:40:57.920 I don't know.
00:40:58.420 I think when people, because people always ask about him, that's calling him like dad
00:41:03.180 seems kind of strange when you know him as sly.
00:41:05.620 I call my dad Greg.
00:41:07.360 Oh, you got it.
00:41:08.300 Yeah, but he has an issue with it.
00:41:09.940 Oh, really?
00:41:10.540 My dad doesn't.
00:41:11.600 Yeah, he doesn't have an issue with it.
00:41:12.400 He's so weird.
00:41:12.640 Call him Pops.
00:41:14.340 That's classic.
00:41:15.320 I call him Pops.
00:41:16.200 pops is old
00:41:17.320 I know
00:41:17.720 I'm old
00:41:18.440 I sometimes sit down with them
00:41:20.460 we have supper together
00:41:21.360 we watch our favorite program
00:41:22.600 pops
00:41:23.300 are you gonna get a root beer float after
00:41:25.080 I'm 40 years old
00:41:26.220 you know
00:41:27.340 so yeah
00:41:27.900 I'll probably have a bite of some meatloaf
00:41:29.500 get a
00:41:30.100 meatloaf
00:41:30.960 body on love
00:41:31.960 get a float
00:41:32.520 at what age do people start loving it
00:41:34.100 maybe a soda pop
00:41:35.000 go down to the local ice shed 0.99
00:41:36.340 get some shit 0.99
00:41:37.040 like soft food 1.00
00:41:37.600 like meatloaf
00:41:38.580 jello
00:41:39.140 I'm there right now
00:41:40.440 I'll go get some meatloaf right now
00:41:41.660 cup of milk
00:41:42.720 cup of milk
00:41:44.020 right now
00:41:45.060 I'm there right now 1.00
00:41:45.600 go watch jeopardy what kind of milk what kind of milk are you drinking not fucking almond milk 0.99
00:41:49.880 okay i'll tell you this sophia and i posted this one clip on our our podcast it blew up but every 0.99
00:41:56.360 guy shit on us because we said that what happened to manly men just drinking two percent of whole
00:42:02.040 milk like i think it's hot if we're at a cafe how is that a hot take do we want a coffee date 1.00
00:42:10.000 with a guy and he goes i would like an almond milk no stop oh milk like do you know what milk is
00:42:16.900 milk is a term it it is a product that comes from a cow right you are not drinking almond milk you
00:42:23.380 are drinking chalk no you're not in water you can't just put milk no that's like saying this 0.93
00:42:29.660 is a glass car that's not true it's not fucking it's not almond milk what did it come out of a 0.97
00:42:36.020 like oh yeah i want cow's milk in my coffee i'm like oh yeah yeah you guys like it 0.96
00:42:42.460 come on what do you mean like i'll have a frappuccino blended with that's a good that's
00:42:47.280 a good question he's rugged he's rugged i got a good build-off right there where do
00:42:54.980 where do some things that would be considered red flags for some girls become green flags for
00:43:04.060 others and do girls always tell the truth about their flag styles no we do not nope um clearly
00:43:11.020 because obviously like creamed like every time like someone says that you're asking where do we
00:43:17.060 find red flags that eventually become green no i mean or i guess first and foremost do you always
00:43:21.660 tell the truth about what you consider a red flag and do you stand by your value oh no no no see i
00:43:26.480 have a list of non-negotiables on my phone i'd love to hear them um have not listened to one of
00:43:31.240 them so i literally go to the opposite um oh my god so they definitely are negotiable yeah i mean
00:43:38.620 i have to thank you enough for those flags to become like you are a bit pickier than me which
00:43:44.620 i respect which i respect i will go out oh yeah and i'll go if he's funny yeah yeah like mine is
00:43:50.760 that yeah you just described me perfectly wait no you're not ugly thank you come on logan just
00:43:57.120 likes to throw that because oh charming you know what it is we always say it's more so i feel like
00:44:03.340 i don't date the people because i want to date them like what would my parents think like everyone
00:44:07.840 has a different requirement in our family and we're so close it's like yes unfortunate like
00:44:12.040 so you want someone that's funny so i'm like okay i find a funny guy doesn't every girl want that
00:44:16.140 yes but is that not number one girls want to be the funnier one or some girls want a guy like
00:44:20.320 louise sits home and doesn't do anything but then okay then my dad he just wants like a beautiful
00:44:25.000 specimen that can like make hot babies for us and like he has like a pot like a strong
00:44:29.880 lineage that can golf throw shop no no no no you'll get in trouble um my dad is very not pc
00:44:40.680 very honest he's very if you you guys actually would love him yeah can we meet him here on the
00:44:46.500 show honestly he's shooting tulsa king right now no way i love that it's so great fourth season
00:44:54.120 like right wait a second who is who you're on it scarlet but you're the closest yeah look wise
00:45:02.480 yeah yeah i look like scarlet but um no he's hilarious he's so you guys are wacky he knows
00:45:08.340 everything like if you want to know anything about everything he's a savant he's a little
00:45:12.400 offbeat he's funny yeah you guys should he would love our producer says we'll go to the set
00:45:17.580 If you called him right now, he loves you guys.
00:45:21.140 Should I try?
00:45:22.020 Yeah, try calling.
00:45:22.640 By the way, he loves you guys.
00:45:23.660 He talks about you, Jake, you, like all of you guys, like all the time.
00:45:26.680 He thinks he respects the hell out of what you do.
00:45:28.640 He might be on set.
00:45:29.820 What a guy.
00:45:31.100 Yeah, you should just call.
00:45:32.600 Wait, this would be crazy.
00:45:34.080 Should I just call?
00:45:34.620 I'll not even take it.
00:45:34.900 Yeah, just FaceTime him.
00:45:35.600 Yo, slide.
00:45:37.120 He'll love it.
00:45:37.740 This is crazy.
00:45:39.280 Let's see if he's not filming.
00:45:41.500 Hopefully he's not.
00:45:42.380 I think he might be on set.
00:45:43.260 That's fine.
00:45:43.740 We wouldn't be.
00:45:44.140 We'll see.
00:45:44.500 I love Tulsa King.
00:45:45.520 It's so great.
00:45:46.160 Every guy loves it.
00:45:47.960 I don't understand.
00:45:49.420 I feel like he might be filming.
00:45:50.400 Is season two out?
00:45:51.720 Yeah.
00:45:52.480 Season three is filming right now.
00:45:54.440 Season four is going to be right after.
00:45:55.700 I binged whatever's out.
00:45:57.760 Yeah.
00:45:58.140 So, hey, he's not answering.
00:45:58.940 He'll probably call back in a second because he's obsessed with his phone.
00:46:01.620 He's honestly like an iPad kid.
00:46:03.300 Can we go?
00:46:03.660 Oh, that's amazing.
00:46:04.540 Wait, wait.
00:46:04.980 I want to hear the non-negotiables.
00:46:05.600 What?
00:46:06.080 No.
00:46:06.520 That's what I was going back to, too.
00:46:07.780 That's exactly what I was about to say.
00:46:09.320 Yeah.
00:46:09.940 I really want to hear the non-negotiables that are still negotiables.
00:46:13.460 Yes, yes, yes.
00:46:13.860 oh they're kind of i have to say what you can pick and choose okay okay i'll pick and choose 0.95
00:46:19.340 so people you have some too such as me oh this is my list my absolute fuck knows but i do all of 0.89
00:46:26.040 these um okay uh absolutely not doesn't make me laugh doesn't ask questions and keep the 0.70
00:46:32.900 conversation going guys don't ask questions on dates is that interesting it's so weird i'm like
00:46:37.500 i know everything about you and i asked about your grandparents i know about your job i know
00:46:42.300 about your college and about your friend group i'm sitting there not one question can i say
00:46:45.840 yeah the fact that you guys are podcast hosts is like a major strength for you oh my god the
00:46:51.060 conversation probably oh it's hilarious but the conversation has to be so strong you have to be
00:46:55.600 so witty with us like you have to honestly make fun of like a wall with us like you have to make
00:46:59.220 fun of a person well tell me what they're doing right now give me a scenario like we need to have
00:47:02.980 that banter because our dad's like that and we're like so used to that cracking back and forth even
00:47:06.880 with us that honestly like i'd rather be single and talk to her than like talk to someone that
00:47:10.820 although it's it's hitting the point where like i think we've talked to each other enough
00:47:14.280 all right let's see i have um no fun banter doesn't have a real job and you know what i mean
00:47:21.560 like if they say like entrepreneur photographer no offense to photographer drop shipping when
00:47:27.680 they're not actual photographers like they just take pictures with their iphone crypto
00:47:31.140 well that's like need to look like a man what did i
00:47:35.100 you have to drink 2% milk
00:47:37.600 whole milk you really want to be rugged
00:47:39.740 if there's no follow up
00:47:42.020 text the night of I think that is really important
00:47:44.040 I think a lot of guys overstep on that one
00:47:45.980 oh bad style I hate a guy with that
00:47:48.180 what do you mean not always
00:47:49.040 what
00:47:50.760 yes 0.99
00:47:53.280 shut up 1.00
00:47:57.200 shut up 1.00
00:47:58.160 oh my god 1.00
00:47:59.440 who are you taking
00:48:03.380 Yeah, you're taking the wrong people on dates.
00:48:05.880 You're taking the wrong people on dates.
00:48:07.060 Hold on.
00:48:07.400 I will say, I hear you, and I think you're right.
00:48:12.600 My fiance, Nina, has thanked me and still thanks me to this day for every single thing that I pay for.
00:48:18.740 And it goes a long way.
00:48:20.240 Have you guys gone out with girls that don't say thank you?
00:48:22.680 They exist.
00:48:23.300 That's insane.
00:48:24.580 That's crazy, because we actually do say thank you.
00:48:26.540 Wait, what?
00:48:27.340 That's like a bare minimum.
00:48:28.460 But, like, texting at the end of the day being like, did you get home safe?
00:48:31.460 Like, that's what I'm talking about.
00:48:32.860 I think it's a courtesy, Dylan.
00:48:35.080 Like, you know what it comes down to, in my opinion?
00:48:37.200 Just being a gentleman.
00:48:38.160 Yeah, exactly.
00:48:38.960 Wait a second.
00:48:39.660 I'm sending flowers.
00:48:40.860 I'm still doing all that stuff.
00:48:42.500 When do you send flowers?
00:48:44.020 I send flowers all the time.
00:48:47.000 I sent his daughter and his wife, or fiance, flowers last week.
00:48:52.240 One of my favorite things to do is to send Sarah flowers.
00:48:54.240 See, that's sweet.
00:48:54.820 I would send flowers with messages all the time.
00:48:55.680 So Pete and I get flowers for an apology.
00:48:57.720 Yeah.
00:48:58.060 No, see, that's been the hardest part about my situation recently.
00:49:02.400 and he can attest to this,
00:49:03.760 I actually am a really good boyfriend.
00:49:05.300 No, you're romantic.
00:49:06.200 I feel like I can see that.
00:49:06.920 To an extent.
00:49:08.300 It's interesting.
00:49:09.060 You're an avoidant romantic.
00:49:10.540 Because I'll push myself to do stuff
00:49:12.400 that I know is a movement in the right direction,
00:49:15.280 even if it's uncomfortable for me.
00:49:16.720 Does that make sense?
00:49:17.280 But maybe that's a sign
00:49:17.540 that it's not the right relationship
00:49:18.920 because you have to force yourself.
00:49:20.060 I feel like things just naturally...
00:49:20.940 No, you would say that,
00:49:22.880 but if you have some of the vulnerabilities
00:49:27.240 and the issues that I deal with in my life,
00:49:28.940 such as really bad anxiety,
00:49:30.980 which turned into...
00:49:31.360 No, I have horrible anxiety.
00:49:32.760 Sometimes some of the things that like would be normal,
00:49:36.340 like this desire to do stuff sometimes is met with a resistance
00:49:39.960 that's hard to explain.
00:49:41.120 And so I do sometimes have to be like, yo, it would be,
00:49:44.120 you know it would be a good thing to do X, Y, and Z today.
00:49:46.740 And I know that's not the ideal situation,
00:49:48.220 but that's the life that I live, unfortunately.
00:49:49.780 What are you looking for?
00:49:51.560 Like, what's your plan?
00:49:52.660 So I was going to spit this question back at you.
00:49:55.140 No, two, because your list of non-negotiables was extremely first date,
00:50:01.160 focused right and so i want to talk to you a little bit more about your like your your long-term
00:50:06.120 goal non-negotiables like we talked about earlier in the episode a huge one for me and is a big part
00:50:11.720 of my list especially right now is like slow to anger yeah ability to ability to absorb think
00:50:17.880 through and approach a situation calmly in a in a private setting as opposed to in a public place
00:50:23.480 emotionally mature that has to that is so so important and and and even more so like this 0.78
00:50:28.920 avoidance to altercation altogether like dude i i was a fucking hero i should not be here 0.87
00:50:35.540 everything that happens in my life is a blessing a plane delay uh getting landing at the wrong 0.96
00:50:42.060 airport because there's a medical emergency something happening in the bar that shouldn't
00:50:45.680 have none of that ever appears to me as something that i need to talk or even think about i'm so
00:50:50.160 thankful to be here that i can't ever think about arguing with someone that i love and and look at
00:50:55.660 And I'm just like, you're so beautiful.
00:50:56.560 You feel so insignificant.
00:50:57.680 Dude, I remember I'm trying to be as politically correct as possible,
00:51:02.900 but I had that conversation with her on the jet from Vancouver.
00:51:06.080 And I said, yo, I'm putting a rule out there right now.
00:51:10.020 There's no crying on private jets in this relationship.
00:51:13.000 I don't care what happens.
00:51:15.500 I don't care what happens, okay?
00:51:18.060 We are on a G550 right now, flying from Vancouver to Opelika, Miami.
00:51:23.840 about we just left a five-star ski resort where we probably were eating caviar and a6 wagyu 0.98
00:51:30.620 what are we crying about i feel like that should be an unspoken what are we fucking crying about 0.77
00:51:35.660 right now life is amazing no like please are you kidding i'm sorry i'm sorry that was my rage 0.80
00:51:42.080 moment by the way that's that's valid like are you kidding that's the most amazing blessing to
00:51:47.020 ever have that we're in this position where we get to experience these things that 99% of the 0.78
00:51:51.060 i smoked crack are you fucking serious i didn't think i was ever gonna try a steak 0.82
00:51:59.940 i used to buy rolls of brillo pads and break them apart and stuff them into a pipe 0.98
00:52:08.760 and light the chemicals on fire while i well i slept on a couch that had holes in it that itched
00:52:14.820 I'm not laughing at you.
00:52:16.000 No, it's fine.
00:52:16.680 You can't. 0.95
00:52:17.980 Our podcast, we talk about, like, a lot of girls shouldn't call dibs on dates.
00:52:22.600 And we're talking about dark seduction tricks.
00:52:24.780 And we're like, I smoked crack.
00:52:26.520 Bro.
00:52:27.040 I don't know.
00:52:27.520 This is great.
00:52:28.020 Like, bro, my, my, my, to do, my, like, bucket list was go to Six Flags.
00:52:33.300 Did you?
00:52:34.260 Yes.
00:52:34.920 Yay.
00:52:37.000 But, like, so when I'm, so when I'm out and, like, as soon as for, this is for any relationship.
00:52:43.320 not to pin it in in the past one you guys know this you know everyone in this room knows this
00:52:47.820 my energy is my is my gold yeah my i walk in a room my goal is to own every sink dominate every
00:52:56.440 single room that i walk into and i will i will i i do not believe that there is a greater room
00:53:01.300 worker on this planet than me right now it's my strongest goal you guys are here because of the
00:53:06.940 relationship we built in yeah yeah can i can that be explained to me for a second like how we met 0.97
00:53:12.020 yeah you came up to us uh it was f1 yeah it was f1 in miami yep you said you knew us and we shit
00:53:18.600 our pants yeah i was like nobody knows us yeah i was like i know you guys are we had a conversation
00:53:22.980 it went swimmingly because the energy and how high the vibes exactly and we kept in contact and
00:53:28.740 now here we are because i rely on positive energy so when something whether it's they believe it's
00:53:35.460 right i believe it's right the world believes it's right when something starts to cause my energy
00:53:40.640 to dip i get very resentful towards that because this is this right here that you guys are
00:53:47.400 witnessing is everything i got there's no master's degree there's no classical training i am not
00:53:54.220 great at anything besides perseverance and being great you know what you need which is i always say
00:54:00.080 what i'm really looking for in a relationship which i haven't found yet is someone that allows
00:54:04.100 me the freedom to be exactly who i want to go off and like i'm i'm a person that i have like a hundred
00:54:09.820 passions in my head like i i do sissy and i are doing four different careers right now at the
00:54:13.500 same time like all we're focused on is work we're always wanting to be the loudest in the room we're
00:54:17.200 always wanting to take over a situation but we also want someone to be there that could ground
00:54:21.060 us but give us that freedom but also that we respect it's a huge ask a huge it's a huge act
00:54:26.140 and that's why i don't fault that's why i don't fault from my past at all i say massive but that's
00:54:30.900 why i say you have to find someone with their glass full and they have such a fulfilling life
00:54:34.420 themselves that they don't feel like the need to take you down dim you question you go like are
00:54:39.120 you doing this not trust you because if they already feel like they're doing so well in their
00:54:43.580 life they're not going to push you back and be like come down to like my level so that we're here
00:54:48.020 at the same point like you need someone that goes I love him for being just exactly who he is like
00:54:52.880 the freedom I respect it it turns me on but then you come home and she's not like fighting you on
00:54:59.060 the things that who you naturally are there's of course things you need to work on there's things
00:55:02.900 I need to work on I'm horrible sometimes at communicating my feelings like sometimes I'm
00:55:06.460 i'm always like i just want to get this over with like let me just go i avoid it like i'm
00:55:09.800 slightly i feel like avoidant and then slightly anxious i don't know what i am anxious avoidant
00:55:13.660 i'm anxious avoidant yeah for a hundred percent that's what i need to work on but i would love
00:55:18.200 someone that can like understand that about me kind of pull back and like that's not who i am
00:55:22.320 in my core like let's go through this and talk like rational human beings and so it's a hard
00:55:26.860 ask because not a lot of people are like that i think a lot more people are insecure also i feel
00:55:30.420 bad for you for breaking up in 2025 it's impossible to move on when you're in a social
00:55:34.540 media relationship oh my god and by the way everything is like a little message it's like
00:55:39.460 the music they use in the background for songs it's like you were sending us tiktoks today like
00:55:44.500 this is us well be my ex yeah well because i'm in that stage but it but let me tell you something
00:55:49.920 i do have i do have some classical training okay in social media breakups some would say that my
00:55:55.780 last breakup was a bigger was a bigger storyline from a social media question would you ever
00:56:00.580 consider not going out with someone i met her with 1200 followers private on instagram but would
00:56:05.120 you ever write it posting posting i've never posted one that's my next one like that's my
00:56:09.920 next one keeping it low-key like we've never posted it's uh because you keep yours pretty
00:56:13.160 low-key even though it's like it's out there no like now it's not like with the really reality 0.57
00:56:17.680 shit but before like you guys would post like the highlights of like a relationship together
00:56:22.040 like maybe sometimes you do some fun things but it wasn't i don't know it may be in like circum 0.65
00:56:26.400 like situationally i feel like it was no no you're you're right like like i share almost everything
00:56:31.720 in my life um we we kept that very sacred for a very long time until it was like okay you're here 0.88
00:56:37.440 to stay exactly like fuck it let's let's go um he's in a position where correct me if i'm wrong 0.98
00:56:45.220 but that is kind of important to you correct to have your significant other be a part of your 0.99
00:56:49.940 life because your life is your content you cut right now right now and in the past in the past
00:56:54.580 through years but as i start to adult a little bit more and move into this mental health and
00:56:59.920 the substance space and really try to own that space i could see a world where that's not the
00:57:04.460 case well you can never date someone in the same industry or business it's always going to be
00:57:08.660 competitive i wanted to ask about this yeah um because you two do have like kind of like
00:57:14.420 alpha personalities like like you said you're raised like boys we wear the pants unfortunately
00:57:21.020 i wanted to ask yeah like are you attracted to guys who also are alphas or are are you attracted
00:57:29.440 to guys who are more like submissive and and when you do date a guy who maybe isn't doing as well
00:57:35.300 as you or isn't as articulate and it's kind of like the more submissive in the relationship
00:57:38.560 sorry my dad's calling should we answer yes he's in sly so dad you're on impulsive right now if
00:57:46.340 want to say hello you're on impulsive sly what's up dude it's logan what's up brogan and mike
00:57:52.700 hey amazing it's not it's such such a pleasure to meet you dude your daughters are incredible
00:58:05.700 you've done an amazing job at raising them thanks real wave there how do you trying bro
00:58:11.760 How do you do it?
00:58:13.120 How do you not have a bad back?
00:58:15.100 And I do, after all the stuff you do.
00:58:17.180 Nah, because I'm incredible.
00:58:18.460 I'm incredible, Sly.
00:58:19.420 I'm the greatest there ever was in the WWE.
00:58:22.860 It's amazing.
00:58:23.880 You know, I was fascinated with wrestling.
00:58:25.440 I did a movie about it called Paradise Alley.
00:58:27.580 And people really don't understand how athletic you guys are
00:58:31.460 and what you have to put up with.
00:58:33.320 They go, oh, it's fake.
00:58:34.820 I go, really?
00:58:35.380 Gravity is fake?
00:58:37.740 I appreciate that.
00:58:39.000 No, I think people are being more and more turned on
00:58:42.560 to the reality that is professional wrestling.
00:58:44.840 It's really hard.
00:58:46.960 It's a really tough discipline.
00:58:48.900 It's the hardest, man.
00:58:50.200 I have great respect.
00:58:51.720 Trust me.
00:58:52.240 Thank you, man.
00:58:52.920 Hey, Sly, you should be very proud of your daughters.
00:58:54.980 They're absolutely incredible people.
00:58:56.160 Yeah, they allow her.
00:58:56.900 We're talking about, you know, your routines and your regimens
00:59:00.020 and how they learn shot put as kids.
00:59:02.140 And you've got incredible, incredible kids, Sly.
00:59:05.240 They are.
00:59:05.780 Well, the mother is responsible.
00:59:07.620 hi how are you oh and there's a dog too
00:59:11.380 hey i can't wait to watch the next uh the next few seasons of tulsa king man keep up the good
00:59:20.180 work we just wanted to say hey we're on it we're on it right now and um it's i think it's gonna be
00:59:25.400 actually i think it's much better because in the first two seasons i had to be almost in every scene
00:59:30.940 now we have other raptors so it's you know as they say the tapestry is getting broader
00:59:36.960 Oh, I love it.
00:59:37.860 I'm a fan of the show, man.
00:59:39.040 It was such a pleasure to meet you.
00:59:41.720 Likewise.
00:59:42.460 All right, take it easy, boss.
00:59:43.360 See you soon, Sly.
00:59:43.900 We'll wake up soon.
00:59:45.620 Amazing.
00:59:46.160 Bye, dad.
00:59:46.760 Love you.
00:59:47.500 Sylvester.
00:59:48.000 Mwah.
00:59:48.820 That was Sylvester.
00:59:49.320 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:59:50.160 Rocky, that's Rambo.
00:59:51.800 He would love to be sitting on this couch right now.
00:59:53.640 Dude, we have to.
00:59:54.880 My dad is going to freak out.
00:59:57.180 You guys.
00:59:58.760 Huh?
01:00:00.160 My dad is going to freak out.
01:00:02.020 Like, that's like, my dad would go to the theater at like 12 a.m. by himself to watch
01:00:05.500 every new oh that's really cool like he's gonna your dad too are you serious my dad loved rambo
01:00:11.280 he told us he's like we i want to raise rambolinas we're like okay
01:00:15.520 no seriously it's like everything that he does he's so method in his work
01:00:20.260 that before any role he truly is that person for at least two months in the house so even before
01:00:26.180 rambo imagine like we're like he's method acting as rambo a guy no literally knives like stuck in
01:00:33.060 remember rambo spoke three words in the whole film so it's like for three months we're like dad and
01:00:37.440 he's like rambo at the table not speaking you definitely could take some notes from this
01:00:41.160 like you 100 not that one specifically raising a daughter yeah no i knew it guys i was really
01:00:46.400 excited because like i've been racking my brain in terms of like how to raise this this woman
01:00:51.620 to be the the most like well-rounded um grounded humble woman who still wants to work hard because
01:00:59.120 by the way she's gonna have everything yeah you need rules you need curfews you need sports
01:01:05.220 because that teaches and also consistency my parents made us eat dinner with them every
01:01:08.880 single night we never miss dinner every single day and that was the only reason why in this
01:01:13.300 whole industry we didn't turn out to be these spoiled rich nephew kids where where we felt
01:01:18.300 entitled for everything that we did um or got it was and we were like we first off acknowledged
01:01:23.900 how blessed we are we're like we wouldn't be in this position without him obviously and like
01:01:28.000 we're so owning that
01:01:28.980 but we're gonna do the best
01:01:29.640 that we can
01:01:30.140 when we get to this position
01:01:31.160 you know
01:01:31.460 we're gonna do the best
01:01:32.240 and yeah
01:01:33.200 and so that's
01:01:33.700 I think what it is
01:01:34.420 is like
01:01:34.720 letting your daughter know
01:01:35.800 like family is everything
01:01:37.540 and like
01:01:37.960 to be honest
01:01:38.400 the vacations
01:01:39.940 the Disney World trips
01:01:41.160 we don't remember
01:01:42.080 one of those
01:01:43.540 the only thing I remember
01:01:44.600 is just
01:01:45.060 them being there
01:01:46.460 just always be there
01:01:48.240 and like
01:01:48.540 that's what she'll take away from it
01:01:49.680 you guys have amazing parents
01:01:51.220 we do
01:01:51.620 we're really lucky
01:01:52.120 you're the product
01:01:53.600 of really good parenting
01:01:54.860 thank you
01:01:55.460 like we said it to him
01:01:56.520 but I'll just say it again
01:01:57.260 like
01:01:57.540 man your mom and him did such a good job thank you i really did and i think you guys are gonna
01:02:03.200 be such great parents yeah honestly because he already is because you're already asking like
01:02:07.860 this and asking yeah like you already care enough to like want your daughter to be like that she's
01:02:11.840 gonna become like that i need i have a lot more work although al pacino just did give me a lot
01:02:17.080 of hope he just had a kid at 82 oh that's true yeah so that gives me another of my lifetime
01:02:23.640 Please, Mike, your wife could be learning cursive right now.
01:02:27.600 So you have time.
01:02:28.920 You have a lot of time.
01:02:31.320 That's crazy.
01:02:32.660 Wife Pacino's wife, like, 19, 20.
01:02:34.740 Yeah.
01:02:35.120 And honestly, also, I think that I saw a video with Cameron Diaz,
01:02:38.560 and she was like, if I had a kid at 20,
01:02:40.240 I would never be as good of a mom if I had them next.
01:02:42.620 Oh, of course.
01:02:43.200 And my point is, let your timeline be your timeline. 0.99
01:02:45.520 Who gives a shit what anyone's saying? 0.98
01:02:46.960 Like, oh, Mike, so he needs that. 0.99
01:02:48.140 Yeah, you don't.
01:02:48.660 No, you're not ready for that right now.
01:02:50.380 Who cares? 0.99
01:02:51.240 I really do not give a fuck. 0.99
01:02:52.580 I'll tell you right now. 0.99
01:02:53.220 You shouldn't.
01:02:53.460 i'm 28 all my friends are married some of them are having kids i'm the only one that's like
01:02:57.800 doing shows for amazon doing a podcast with steam writing books loving it right now i'll have a kid
01:03:02.880 when i have a kid it's fine wait so on that note again i just want to get i want to finish that
01:03:08.020 conversation because you're doing so many things yeah yeah is that intimidating for men extremely
01:03:12.420 yep and at first they admire it and they go wow she's doing so much and i feel like when they sit
01:03:18.220 and ruminate a little long on it it gets pretty an insecurity comes out where they say when will
01:03:24.820 you have time for me and and by the way and this is the thing Sistine and I when we're in
01:03:31.260 relationships we love hard because we don't fall in love often like we don't date that many guys
01:03:35.520 we don't have a lot of boyfriends you date the family we get family yeah so when we do love you
01:03:40.100 it's everything to us but the problem is is like the comparison that they feel they think we never
01:03:45.280 to tell them be better do better and by the way I don't want the guy that's I don't want to date
01:03:49.440 an actor I'll never date an actor I don't want to date a guy that's not offense to you guys but I
01:03:53.320 don't want to date a guy that's like in front of the camera ever like I she wants like a boring
01:03:57.060 guy like Iowa corn fed grass fed like good boy I just know I want a guy that is super super
01:04:09.120 passionate in whatever he's doing in his career that he's so confident in his field that when
01:04:13.660 he's with me he's like i can take care of you like in that way but not someone who's public facing
01:04:18.500 no i don't need like someone that has a trillion dollars that's like healing it in his career like
01:04:22.320 look i already know where i am like why are you looking at it why are you because i gotta say
01:04:27.940 this i mean it's never been so apparent to me and oh we're so different y'all have such different
01:04:33.100 you're trouble you're trouble you're trouble you're trouble but i was like yesterday i was
01:04:40.600 like i'm more the girl that's talking like mental health the older sister advice she comes in she's 1.00
01:04:47.540 like rat poisoning his ass like no hold on first of all i do think we play a role sometimes and 1.00
01:04:53.540 we're in front of a camera is an introvert a lot it's just the dark everyone thinks i'm a bitch 1.00
01:04:57.240 i'm probably you're looking at me i want a fucking boring guy no boring job yes oh my god 0.99
01:05:02.900 this is our bicker this is not even no but we hate we have the most opposite types we would 0.99
01:05:07.380 Never go for the same guy.
01:05:07.920 Oh, we've never had the same guy.
01:05:09.180 So if that's true, you're like, would you date an NBA player?
01:05:14.120 No, no athletes, because I want to talk.
01:05:16.480 I like NFL.
01:05:18.520 Like have like long, I want to learn.
01:05:21.920 I don't want to learn like their play routine.
01:05:24.740 Like I want to learn something different.
01:05:26.320 Do you think athletes are boring?
01:05:27.800 No, they're just not my speed.
01:05:30.100 You would go out with an athlete.
01:05:31.240 Don't say silent right there.
01:05:32.620 You want any laughs.
01:05:33.840 I admit it.
01:05:34.320 take it from someone who talks to a bunch of girls that date athletes you guys already know
01:05:40.580 they are they are i think the biggest nightmare there's no bigger i can't deal with the two
01:05:45.500 phones i'll break no i will yeah no i'll say our biggest thing is intelligence that's it like we
01:05:50.840 want a guy that's actually smart or at least if he doesn't know everything he absorbs everything
01:05:54.360 and he wants to learn more also i think you don't have to like know the sat by heart but i think if
01:05:59.760 you can carry a conversation that's a huge sign of intelligence yeah how many times have you been
01:06:03.880 a cross sitting from a female and you're like oh my god if i didn't say anything there would be no
01:06:07.920 conversation yeah i i think there's even a level of elevation you said you like guys to ask questions
01:06:12.680 i think if you're a true conversationalist you should have a conversation that evokes
01:06:17.880 responsiveness i don't even want to have to ask you what you do for a living it's just going to
01:06:22.200 pour out in the conversation we're having that is like yeah like what we're doing right now yeah
01:06:26.100 like if you have a conversation like this on a first date you're like okay wow this is yeah
01:06:31.000 exactly it would be no i'll tell you this i feel nice i feel like we've lost a lot of the earlier
01:06:35.400 generation we lost the art of conversation i feel like we're so heavily influenced by like social
01:06:40.700 media texting and facetiming that i mean even when you facetime a guy before a date you think
01:06:45.600 oh wow he's gonna be great in person the the communication the energy is just not there i
01:06:50.100 just feel like it's i don't know how people are going to become better at this especially like
01:06:53.900 our kids no and just the temptation and the options accessibility of ai my god i love my
01:06:59.360 i named her charlotte it's a problem what ai do you use um i use 4.0 chat tv chat oh yeah she
01:07:05.780 talks to charlotte more than me i'm always talking i love her all day she helps me i mean she only
01:07:09.840 edited my book i mean she like if i had i was finished with it but i was like can you just
01:07:13.980 like grammatically fix this paragraph we are so different charlotte wrote me a breakup text and
01:07:18.320 charlotte's writing sopia that's so yeah it was great well she knows you she knows me so well
01:07:22.700 and i'm sure you can ask her questions about areas where she has identified weaknesses and
01:07:27.860 areas for you to improve you have a really like powerful dialogue with oh no it's incredible i'm
01:07:33.640 like so invested in all this world like um there was something i was super i wanted to invest in
01:07:38.320 years ago was crisper yeah and i think i loved that i wrote a paper on it when i was in college
01:07:44.700 wait holmes what is that yeah yeah yeah it's a good thing why by the way they were able in china
01:07:50.780 to get two female rats to have a baby together men are screwed in the next like 30 years but 0.82
01:07:57.180 we love them we need them i just thought that insane i wanted to ask a question about about 0.98
01:08:02.160 men yeah modern day the modern day male so there's this narrative online that like
01:08:06.420 masculinity is being suppressed and like it's been the death of the modern day male
01:08:12.180 softening of men um i definitely think there's part of that that exists and and it has affected
01:08:19.540 a lot of guys around there are you seeing that from like a dating perspective like when guys
01:08:24.020 order the almond milk you're like oh this mother look we obviously if a guy orders almond milk we 0.98
01:08:28.120 don't care but yeah i feel like we're not gonna we're not we're not like we're not that bitch 0.99
01:08:32.240 you were just playing on it no i i do i do think the art of just chivalry is dead i do think 0.95
01:08:38.440 caring or putting your eggs in a basket or being forthright about your emotions is dead i actually
01:08:43.700 will say against girls i think girls man shame a lot like i feel like there's not like a lot of
01:08:49.700 like anger against men like i saw someone do a video the other day like what's the best skincare
01:08:54.120 for guys like a guy asked and she goes for them to not talk like things like that i just don't
01:08:58.660 love that and i like look i love guys i think you guys are awesome like are you guys perfect no you
01:09:03.480 guys have broken my heart sometimes but i don't think you guys should be suppressed like i don't
01:09:08.120 think you guys should hold back anything just because like there's some girls that just like 0.95
01:09:11.240 to like shit on men that's you know what it is no it's it's if you're affected so deeply even just 0.99
01:09:19.560 once yeah twice three times by like a man it's very easy to generalize and then yeah of course 1.00
01:09:25.620 that just that's humanity like yeah the pattern is oh this being yeah and the beings that are like 0.97
01:09:33.240 this being hurt me fuck them all right so you you apply that like what it turns into like really 0.93
01:09:39.360 heavily resentment yeah to the whole gender and it's it's just not fair that's emotional 0.99
01:09:44.100 immaturity yeah and it sounded like that was your problem in your previous relationship was
01:09:49.880 a lot of emotional immaturity and i think you know it's an age thing as well they always say
01:09:55.060 what men are eight years behind mentally and emotionally than women are oh seven seven years
01:10:00.960 my bad sorry seven um and i think that's the case so i think a lot of girls in our position are like
01:10:08.140 okay let's date someone that's 35 to 39 or 40 because they're going to reach that emotional
01:10:13.340 maturity and that's not always the case i think it's it's by subject and i know living in new york
01:10:19.360 um there's probably eight girls for every one guy so he doesn't need to work or try because say if
01:10:27.280 i'm like well i want you to pick me up and pay for my dinner he's gonna say well i there's that
01:10:31.300 girl who's just as hot maybe hotter and doesn't need that's the part of it that's the part of it
01:10:35.200 that really has best with me in in both the lead up and in this breakup stage it's like
01:10:41.060 as soon as i as soon as i started talking to her i didn't see any other i didn't
01:10:49.460 see visually any other girls like i i i didn't even talk to the girls of mine that were friends
01:10:54.960 anymore i like because i didn't because i well let's talk about it yeah hold on let's talk about
01:11:01.120 because it's a scary because it's a scary place okay so like i always went out of my way to make
01:11:08.440 sure that there was no I never wanted her to feel like there was any reason to not trust me right I
01:11:13.980 was I was a call when I get back to the hotel kind of guy before I go to sleep I was no not a call a
01:11:19.240 FaceTime here's the room here's the closets open like always of course of course yeah that's crazy
01:11:26.900 to me I've never been like show your room well that's a joke that part was no but my whole thing
01:11:31.380 is like if if another girl can take him she can have him like I yeah but I did so well to prove
01:11:36.080 that wasn't the case and i feel like in to an extent and here's here's another question and
01:11:40.140 by the way like once again not this isn't to be pinned in just that relationship because i've had
01:11:43.620 this problem in the past yeah i think when you when you present yourself as someone who
01:11:47.840 works well with the female gender yeah if i'll just those terms you you you create a reputation
01:11:57.260 that drives women to you but when they come to they also remember who you were prior to
01:12:03.180 meeting them okay does that make sense and so like that reputation very similar to what you
01:12:07.800 guys say about how when men meet you and are and are intrigued by your output i say sometimes a lot
01:12:14.640 of times girls meet me and they're and the same things that turn them on the laughter the
01:12:19.200 conversationalism how i can be flirty but reserved but cool but mysterious but cultured as soon as 0.98
01:12:25.500 we're locked in they want to turn that shit the fuck off yeah it's impressive it's impressive 0.99
01:12:29.920 And it's because he's got the gift of gab. 1.00
01:12:31.340 Yeah, that's true.
01:12:33.340 He's hilarious.
01:12:35.260 Do you ever feel insecurity in a relationship? 0.67
01:12:37.400 Or do you find that it's always the girl?
01:12:39.120 I've never once in my entire life felt a single.
01:12:43.000 I've never checked a phone.
01:12:44.820 I've never asked where you were.
01:12:48.100 I do not.
01:12:48.940 And truthfully, every time I've done something like that, I've looked at other people and realized that that tight leash methodology just doesn't work.
01:12:57.580 Here's one thing I'll bring up as a question.
01:12:59.920 Um, and it, and it comes back to the question that you asked about alpha versus beta dating,
01:13:05.180 especially for them as two very tough girls.
01:13:10.620 I want my thought processes and my decision-making to be trusted by my counterpart.
01:13:20.980 Okay. 0.98
01:13:21.660 When I, when I, especially with the shit that I've been through and the decision-making 0.95
01:13:26.240 i've had to make in my life and all of the camps i've been in and all the these people that have 0.89
01:13:31.420 looked to me for decisions in times of strife and grief and and so when i say this is such a funny
01:13:39.220 thing but when i say i don't deem this to be a situation we should be having an argument about
01:13:43.860 i don't want that to be questioned as me saying your feelings don't matter right right i just
01:13:50.980 have deemed this to be so why are we talking about the thing is i think perspective so my
01:13:57.040 question so my yes so my question to you is are you guys willing to get to trust a man enough to
01:14:04.080 say okay because because i don't know how else you find the guys that you're looking for which
01:14:10.240 are which are super out which are super alpha producers one percenters potentially but also 0.89
01:14:16.200 willing to give the rope the reins to a female like that's a tough fucking ask yeah they don't
01:14:22.380 exist um would we be willing yeah 100 i think back to the perspective thing you know it does 0.98
01:14:28.440 come with age i think you have so much of it and if you go out with someone that doesn't it also
01:14:32.560 goes back to just saying please and thank you and being nice to servers it's all those things
01:14:36.640 combined if you're going out with a young girl you're going to get young outbursts young lashings
01:14:43.420 i mean i also think and i'm curious about what you guys feel about this do you like when your
01:14:49.380 partner sort of puts like rules and restraints on you it's like you need you have to text me you
01:14:54.220 have to do this you need to track i need to track you like you're not allowed to stay up on this
01:14:58.120 i feel like guys hate it using the term you're not allowed first of all is a don't know it's 0.90
01:15:03.280 crazy that you like crazy girls because every guy says that no we fucking hate crazy she's not we 0.77
01:15:08.340 but y'all love it and y'all date them so i'm confused women release um what was it like a 1.00
01:15:13.320 release something during sex oh my god that makes us bond it's a hormone yeah it's like a
01:15:19.620 pheromone oxytocin but then men release something when they're super stressed that's oppressing and
01:15:24.240 so when that's why women and men like especially men when they're in these relationships with toxic
01:15:29.020 women they kind of stay in it because it releases that hormone like so when women are women release
01:15:34.780 are oxytocin when apparently you're physical you're hugging you're touching that's when we
01:15:39.000 feel that love endorphin towards you men is released when they are stressed so that's called
01:15:44.260 vasopressin so guys loki like to rile their girlfriend up because she gets like why would
01:15:49.340 you do that and then you love her for that i'm not sure that sounds like a myth like no no no
01:15:55.520 it's science it could be science but it could on the unwax podcast but let's not group everybody
01:16:00.460 together i agree because i will say this when you say guys like crazy girls once again i think it
01:16:06.380 does come down to age and life stage he logan was very intent intentional and very purposeful about
01:16:13.500 his selection of his life partner and so and so for me i i have always hoped that i could grow
01:16:20.560 into that with someone like i like i like i like i said i was so enamored by a lot of this last
01:16:26.720 relationships purity and and direction in life and master going for a master's degree and no one
01:16:31.800 knew who she was and a lot of that stuff like rang a lot of bells and so when you say this stuff
01:16:36.900 about like how do you like being told what to do in a relationship as a even just slightly down
01:16:42.640 spectrum avoidant it's not really good for me okay i and by the way i don't believe that it's
01:16:49.240 good for the majority of high producing men i agree i really don't i think i think you should
01:16:53.600 set boundaries yo if you cheat we are done there's no coming back from that there's no excuses the
01:17:02.480 relationship is over because as you see in this new toxic this return of some small semblance of
01:17:07.740 pocket of toxic masculinity on the internet there's this like this is why cheating should be okay not 0.92
01:17:12.860 okay right as soon as the trust is gone from this relationship we are fucking done that's a boundary 0.86
01:17:17.700 that i understand and do not see as a disrespect but if you tell me yo you just went on a 22 minute 0.98
01:17:23.640 bike ride in the hamptons why the fuck didn't you text me while you're not saying that that's 0.94
01:17:29.240 ever happened this sounds personal it sounds very it's a made-up story okay but if you do that 0.99
01:17:35.960 as a not even as an avoidant but as a fucking human right i am going to have a major problem 0.99
01:17:42.760 you know what i believe in have you heard the toxic light theory yeah the cow's made in sex 0.98
01:17:46.280 in the city basically they say that men are like taxi cabs that when their light is on and they're
01:17:50.560 ready for relationship and like a serious one for a wife that's when you actually find her because
01:17:55.320 you're attracting that type of energy but until then you're going to choose the people that are
01:17:58.700 going to come in and out of the taxi yeah that's really funny and so and i think it's true because
01:18:03.300 it sounds like you had your light on and you were like i'm going to be very intentional and it was
01:18:07.180 and i do want a serious relationship something that's a little bit more meaningful than something
01:18:11.000 that might last a year or two right and that's when you met nina and it ended up working out
01:18:14.480 even if it like started out in a very interesting way it still was attracted to you yeah you are not
01:18:19.700 probably fully ready for that type of like there's a split marital commitment yeah and so yeah mine's
01:18:24.540 the one that's kind of broken and you're like you're like half on half off like you do want i
01:18:29.580 know you crave it because i can hear it in your voice in the way that you do speak about you're
01:18:32.760 very intellectual when it comes to emotions and boundaries and whatever it is but it seems like
01:18:37.960 your light's not on yet so you're not really looking for someone to give you that quality
01:18:41.540 mature long-lasting relationship i'm in purgatory right now and and i feel that too because this
01:18:47.400 return to what what i used dude i would i have not even seen a girl we've been you know broken
01:18:53.740 up for 40 days i am like i'm healing i am well you know i hope you're not seeing another girl
01:18:59.120 i don't mean seeing that's not the type of seeing i usually do okay i'm not talking about going on
01:19:03.480 a date okay what i'm saying to you is this that return to the dark side now disgust i don't want
01:19:11.220 to be there i don't want to be at a meeting girls in weird places and like all this stuff
01:19:17.060 it's overrated no no no it's fine it's a life stage thing yeah but if you're 23 you can't tell 0.75
01:19:22.880 me that's fun you you think getting fucked up at a club meeting a girl at a night like that's fun 0.90
01:19:27.920 right now it's not for me at all okay but for someone out there it's a blast okay that's what 0.94
01:19:33.980 i'm trying to say right whereas you guys like reading books or acting or doing somebody else 0.96
01:19:39.220 likes turning up with their boys you know like mo bomb comes on they're standing on the shit going 0.98
01:19:44.320 like this popping bottles whatever right couldn't pay me so you but to your point yes and and and 0.99
01:19:49.100 by the way if a girl is acting up a lot of times it's because of something you're doing wrong
01:19:54.100 okay and i'm not saying that this is necessarily the case i'm not going to take blame or whatever
01:19:58.800 but if you're not working towards the same goal she is if you're not giving her the right level
01:20:06.420 of reassurance that you're there and blah blah blah whatever that can cause a girl to act a
01:20:11.760 certain way well i also do believe when you get into a relationship you're not just dating the
01:20:15.080 girl you're dating all her boyfriends prior to that that all of the relationships so you're not
01:20:19.300 really talking to her you're talking to every single person she was into and that's where
01:20:22.860 trust issues yes did it start there though with you like did you see it in the beginning
01:20:27.500 issues of the past playing a role in your current relationship i've we felt a lot i feel so bad
01:20:33.680 we're like therapizing him you i'd feel worse i'd feel worse i feel worse we do in our podcast
01:20:39.440 is really talk about relationships people send in their relationship advice to us
01:20:42.460 but again we are single so anyone if you know
01:20:46.140 i put it out there just like this is how bad it is so steven on a date recently he called her
01:20:52.560 sophia he called me sophia yeah and i've never met him what are you calling it a freudian slip
01:20:58.260 or what i don't know yeah you just call me sophia i was like well um wrong one happens a lot actually
01:21:04.380 i have the best dates well your dad named you guys sophia scarlett and sistine like it's not
01:21:08.760 yes but you shouldn't i mean you're going out you're going out yeah it's a pretty clear distinction
01:21:13.340 between the two that's tough this was a first date like how are you messing up between the
01:21:17.560 sisters i've never met you and bonus i paid whoa yeah yeah true true true no but that's why our
01:21:24.420 singleness is is awful for me but it's great for our podcast because the content is
01:21:28.260 phenomenal for sure and by the way when you get in a relationship it's gonna be boring yeah
01:21:32.800 i know i know you will have to dilute oh we did by when we did have a relationship they didn't
01:21:38.180 want us to talk about on the podcast so our content was awful during that time no i know
01:21:42.020 it just it was awful yeah but we want it we just want a relationship where they would allow us to
