00:00:00.000What I'm going to talk about over the next few minutes is a massive scandal, but will the federal government do anything about this? Will anyone do anything about this? Let's get into it.
00:00:14.060Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel 433 a.m. Thursday, October the 1st. I hope you're having a great start to your Thursday and a great start to October as well. And I just noticed that my light isn't on. Just one second. Let me fix that.
00:00:30.000We are now on air. Okay. So here we go. This is a massive scandal.
00:00:39.860This is a $41 billion scandal. And when you hear about it, you're going to say,
00:00:48.660we need to do something about this. Will anything be done about this? These are a couple of
00:00:53.420questions that will run through your mind and you will answer them yourself and say, no,
00:00:57.340because of the topic, the subject matter. Will the Liberal government that is mostly responsible for
00:01:03.600this, that is 99% responsible for this, do anything about it? No. The Liberals, Trudeau,
00:01:09.740Carney are responsible for this. In fact, they're giving more money into this, more of your money,
00:01:13.760which you can't afford right now. You know, we've got a Liberal government, I've said this before,
00:01:18.280that is proud of the fact that they now have to subsidize people in Canada so they can afford to
00:01:22.300eat. Yet they're spending $41 billion of your money on this, and nothing will be done about
00:01:27.880it. Will Pierre Polyev, the leader of the opposition, do anything about this? No, he'll
00:01:32.040probably be asked about it. He'll complain about it when he becomes prime minister, if that ever
00:01:36.460happens, which is highly unlikely. He'll do nothing about it because he cowers when it comes to this
00:01:41.100subject. The people that are the biggest victims of this, and they are victims, ladies and gentlemen,
00:01:45.680won't do anything about this. They will stand in front of a train, or they'll stand in front of a
00:01:49.540pipeline, if it goes through their land, but they won't do anything because one, they're afraid of
00:01:53.780the chiefs, and two, they won't do anything about it because they won't stand up for themselves.
00:01:59.160And Canadian taxpayers should be writing letters to their MPs today saying,
00:02:02.680we need to fix this. And I think there's a pretty easy fix.
00:02:05.860The numbers are staggering here. I'm not going to get into the numbers too much
00:02:09.080because it just baffles your brain when you see all the numbers. But this is the article we're
00:02:13.160talking about here today. I've talked about this issue before. I've said on this channel,
00:02:17.620There will never be reconciliation because the grift has to continue, ladies and gentlemen.
00:02:22.860And this is a $41 billion grift. Now, this is $41 billion of federal money. We'll look at some
00:02:30.680other money as well because we have provinces and we have cities as well that pay into this.
00:02:35.440Not only that, people who are indigenous can use the social services that you all use. So,
00:02:40.780there's a lot of money going out the door here and nobody's being held accountable. Although,
00:02:44.260there was a prime minister at one time that wanted to hold these people accountable and the
00:02:49.820liberals changed that. We'll get to that in just a moment. We're going to look at some numbers here
00:02:52.840and you're going to go, oh my God. So I'm not going to read this whole story. And this is based
00:02:57.140on government statistics. It talks about the Fraser Institute, but this is based on government
00:03:02.340statistics. I'll give you the webpage below. You can look it up yourself. Federal indigenous
00:03:06.960spending quadrupled to $40.8 billion under Trudeau with negligible improvement to communities,
00:03:13.640report. A little bit of this article. I don't want to bore the crap out of you. I want this
00:03:18.480video over quickly. In the decade leading up to 2024-25, inflation-adjusted federal Indigenous
00:03:24.860spending jumped from $10.3 billion to $40.8 billion, growing seven times faster than overall
00:03:32.160federal spending, according to a new study published by the Fraser Institute, broken down
00:03:37.620by federal spending per province annual federal Indigenous spending ranges from a low of $73
00:03:43.060million to PEI to a high of $8.8 billion in Ontario. In BC, 2024-2025, the federal government
00:03:52.480spent approximately $6.3 billion on program benefits for Indigenous people in the province
00:03:57.940and average expenditure, check this out, of $20,306 per Indigenous person, according to the
00:04:05.520study. Are they getting that much money, these people? No, they're victims. Now, you can blame
00:04:10.520on all Indigenous people, but these people are victims of a system that's broken, that will not
00:04:16.360be fixed. Canadians need to understand the magnitude of Ottawa's Indigenous spending in
00:04:21.360recent years if they're ever to properly assess what the additional spending is achieving in terms
00:04:26.660of results for Indigenous people. Meanwhile, previous Fraser Institute research from 2024
00:04:31.920found that federal Indigenous spending almost tripled under Trudeau from $11 billion in 2015
