00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. It is Wednesday, April the 16th, 5.17 a.m. with the big blue mug of coffee.
00:00:07.060 I hope you're having a great day today. And just a quick reminder, could you please give me a thumbs up on this video and subscribe to the channel?
00:00:14.620 Just click on subscribe. Last week, being sick, off for four days, no videos, it kind of wreaked some havoc on the algorithm.
00:00:23.220 My channel just hasn't been getting any traction out there, so if you could help out, that would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
00:00:29.220 So today, back to an issue I haven't talked about here in a while on this channel, and that's talking about Alberta separatism.
00:00:38.300 Now, if you're in Canada, you're probably wondering what the hell's going on out here in Alberta.
00:00:42.540 I can just tell you, without getting too specific, that the separatist movement is on the march here in Alberta right now.
00:00:50.560 We'll probably have more information on that within the next couple of weeks.
00:00:54.000 But, listen, we've got an election coming up on April the 28th. Regardless of who wins, whether it's Polyev or Carney, the separatist movement is out here in Alberta, and it is moving forward.
00:01:06.360 But separatists are licking their chops if the Liberals win on April the 28th, because it will put, well, it will add jet fuel to the separatist movement out here in Alberta, I can tell you.
00:01:17.860 And every time Mark Carney talks about oil and gas or pipelines, it's like music to the ears of a separatist here in Alberta.
00:01:25.700 You have to choose some big projects, not necessarily pipelines, but maybe pipelines. We'll see.
00:01:36.180 That was on April 13th. As you can tell, he's speaking French there, on French television, not committing to pipelines at all.
00:01:43.280 Here is my premier, the greatest premier in all of Canada and in the sovereign province of Alberta.
00:01:49.640 Here she is with a response to what Carney said.
00:01:56.200 So, it would appear Mark Carney is now just fine with Canada continuing to be 100% reliant on the United States to purchase all of our oil and gas and to purchase all of the fuel used by Ontario and Quebec from the U.S. through Line 5.
00:02:12.020 This is absurd, irrational, and anti-Canadian in every respect.
00:02:18.440 It's also the exact opposite of what he promised while in Alberta a couple of weeks ago.
00:02:25.160 Does he want Canada to be strong, prosperous, and independent or not?
00:02:30.340 Carney says pipelines not necessarily among major projects to prioritize.
00:02:35.960 Now, I'm going to make a prediction here, folks.
00:02:38.740 My premier, Danielle Smith, within the next 12 days will be on the road with Pierre Polyev.
00:02:43.660 I think he needs her out there because she is a wonderful speaker and she doesn't take any shit from Mark Carney.
00:02:51.580 To the new prime minister and the Liberal Party, I have one message.
00:02:56.740 Alberta has had enough.
00:02:58.700 Enough with Ottawa trampling over our provincial jurisdiction like Canada's constitution doesn't exist.
00:03:04.440 Enough with the meaningless virtue signaling, climate policies that only make Canadians poorer and threaten our energy security.
00:03:13.580 Enough of their screw the West will take the rest mentality.
00:03:18.200 Enough with their soft on crime policies that let repeat offenders roam the streets on bail.
00:03:24.660 Enough with their unsafe supply, their open border policies, their censorship laws.
00:03:29.260 The list goes on and on.
00:03:30.480 Danielle Smith can see the writing on the wall.
00:03:33.160 She's talked about a national unity crisis.
00:03:35.480 Well, if the Liberals get in, for God's sakes, there's going to be a national unity crisis.
00:03:40.240 And all the Liberals out there in the East saying they want to save Canada,
00:03:44.620 Canada strong with elbows up and everything, are dooming their country, is what they're doing.
00:03:49.620 Now, we've been dealing with a hangover from the first Trudeau for 45 years with the National Energy Program out here.
00:03:55.460 I've only been out here for 12 years.
00:03:57.100 I still hear people talking about it.
00:03:59.100 Looking for a good deal within Canada.
00:04:02.680 We've got groups out here that want to work within Canada.
00:04:04.760 No, it's time to get the hell out.
00:04:07.920 Here's Jason Kenney.
00:04:09.120 Now, at the time, I believe he'd just been elected as Premier.
00:04:12.100 But here he is talking about Alberta getting a good deal within Canada.
00:04:17.380 This is six years ago.
00:04:18.820 I'll repeat what I said last night and for the last month, that Alberta is going to fight for a fair deal in the Federation.
00:04:25.480 And we don't think it's reasonable for other provinces like Quebec to take our equalization money while opposing pipeline projects that can help us to pay the bills within the Federation.
00:04:37.420 What's the old saying, fool me once, shame on you.
00:04:41.040 Fool me twice, shame on me.
00:04:42.540 Well, how many times does Alberta have to be fooled before we finally decide to get the hell out?
00:04:47.560 And the reason I'm talking about this is because we've got debates coming up.
00:04:53.900 There's one tonight in French and one in English.
00:04:57.060 Tonight they're going to talk about energy and climate and they're also talking about that tomorrow night in the English debate.
00:05:03.060 This will get glossed over.
00:05:04.220 It'll all be about climate because Mark Carney's an expert on that.
00:05:10.300 That's what he's all about.
00:05:13.640 What's the saying?
00:05:15.020 Past behavior, best way to predict future behavior.
00:05:18.240 How does he feel about our oil and gas industry?
00:05:20.680 Really?
00:05:21.360 Maybe as much as half of oil reserves, proven reserves need to stay in the ground if we're going to get to where we are.
00:05:27.600 So we can't meet our ultimate objectives, which is to get to net zero emissions.
00:05:33.680 We can't get there unless we do not just have a cap on emissions, but those emissions are brought effectively to zero.
00:05:41.180 That was less than two years ago on CBC.
00:05:44.560 We need to keep our oil and gas in the ground.
00:05:46.900 So we have a debate tonight.
00:05:48.560 I would love to ask the question.
00:05:50.860 You would probably love to ask Mr. Carney a question.
00:05:53.840 Mr. Carney, how can you be for the oil and gas industry if you're for net zero?
00:05:57.920 He'll probably go on a tangent about putting up windmills and solar panels, which all have to be dug out of the ground somewhere using oil and gas.
00:06:07.840 And then they put them up in beautiful places and despoil the environment.
00:06:11.460 I call it visual pollution.
00:06:13.320 You go into southern Alberta to Pinscher Creek.
00:06:15.900 Beautiful vista of the Rocky Mountains with eco-crucifixes spinning in the way.
00:06:20.180 And we can't put in pipelines because we have a law against them because of the Liberals, and he won't repeal it.
00:06:30.820 Do you plan to repeal Bill C-69?
00:06:33.800 We do not plan to repeal Bill C-69.
00:06:37.380 Bill C-69 means there will be no pipelines built in Canada.
00:06:40.960 It's the death knell of the oil and gas industry here in Alberta, and that means it's time to leave.
00:06:46.700 But what about Quebec, you say?
00:06:48.900 They don't want our pipelines going through Quebec.
00:06:51.340 Well, a large percentage of people in Quebec say it's fine to put pipelines through.
00:06:55.220 Here are the numbers on the screen for you right here, right across the country.
00:06:58.860 And I think any transfer payments, equalization payments going to Quebec in the future,
00:07:04.380 which comes mostly from Alberta, should be directly proportional to their cooperation with our oil and gas industry.
00:07:11.040 No cooperation, no more money.
00:07:14.000 Period.
00:07:15.820 Now, as Danielle Smith said in the clip earlier, screw the West, we'll take the rest.
00:07:21.560 That means vote.
00:07:22.280 Vote Rich, Ontario.
00:07:25.280 I mean, Carney said nothing really about canola when it comes to Saskatchewan, 100% tariffs from China.
00:07:33.100 He cares about the automotive industry.
00:07:34.980 Well, folks, that Honda story you heard about them going south is probably true.
00:07:39.080 You just aren't hearing the absolute truth right now because we're in an election campaign right now.
00:07:45.680 Expect more of the factories to go south because Donald Trump is going to make the United States an attractive place to do business again.
00:07:55.240 Most business leaders in Canada are supporting Pierre Polyev because he has a better plan for Canada moving forward to make us prosperous.
00:08:04.080 But, folks, we're on the verge of separation.
00:08:08.660 And it, well, the oil and gas industry is fueling the fire of that.
00:08:12.420 No oil and gas in Alberta.
00:08:14.380 Say goodbye to Canada.
00:08:16.440 Thanks very much for watching.
00:08:18.480 I do appreciate it.
00:08:19.800 Please give me a thumbs up on the video.
