00:00:00.000 Hey, Blue, prepare for an American invasion.
00:00:12.540 Hi, it's John, and welcome to the channel.
00:00:14.640 Tuesday, May 19th, 5.03 a.m.
00:00:17.240 I hope you're having a great start to your Tuesday morning.
00:00:20.200 Thank you so much for being here.
00:00:21.780 I do appreciate it.
00:00:23.960 And I did a story on this back on March the 4th.
00:00:28.080 I'm going to show you a short clip from that video in just a moment.
00:00:31.500 This was the thumbnail for it.
00:00:33.500 Canada is giving away citizenship and no one is talking about it.
00:00:37.020 Well, folks, they might be talking about it a lot more now because things have changed.
00:00:42.220 And an article popped up in the National Post about this, which I'm going to read a little bit about in just a moment.
00:00:47.680 You know, after Donald Trump was elected the first time, you heard about a lot of lefties in the United States saying they were going to move out of the country.
00:00:55.520 It's very hard to do if you don't have citizenship.
00:00:58.080 lot of people said they were going to move to Canada. Very difficult if you don't have Canadian
00:01:01.640 citizenship. People like Ellen DeGeneres, I think she moved over to England. I think Rosie O'Donnell
00:01:07.200 may have moved out of the country. But these are people that have the means to do it, meaning a lot
00:01:12.240 of money. You have a lot of money. You can go anywhere you want. But the average American
00:01:16.960 citizen would find it difficult to move anywhere in the world and into Canada without that very,
00:01:22.280 very valuable Canadian citizenship. But folks, things are about to change. I have a saying,
00:01:29.140 liberals don't integrate, they infiltrate. And I'm wondering if we're going to have a great
00:01:33.720 infiltration of Americans to this country because citizenship rules have changed. And this story
00:01:40.540 popped up on the National Post website. U.S. applications for Canadian citizenship surge,
00:01:47.120 causing delays. The increase can be attributed to a surge in applications from the U.S. with
00:01:52.920 millions estimated to be eligible for Canadian citizenship based on their ancestry. I'm going
00:01:59.080 to explain what this is all about the way I did back on March 4th in just a moment. Applicants
00:02:04.140 for Canadian citizenship certificates now have to wait a year because of a surge of interest from
00:02:09.160 Americans interested in taking advantage of new Canadian citizenship rules according to the
00:02:14.680 Canadian government's processing time estimator. U.S. applications surged during the first few
00:02:20.140 months of 2026, with millions south of the border estimated to be eligible for Canadian citizenship
00:02:26.560 based on their ancestry after Canada changed its citizenship law. The wait will be shorter
00:02:32.460 for applicants who filed in December 2025 before the American surge. Under the change, if a
00:02:38.400 citizenship applicant was born before December 15th, 2025, and can trace his or her lineage back
00:02:45.160 to a Canadian ancestor, they are automatically eligible to apply for proof of Canadian citizenship.
00:02:51.420 And this is the way I described it back on March the 4th. So let me explain this to you with this
00:02:57.300 graph. And I'm going to start at the bottom with Generation 4, the applicant who wants to become
00:03:03.140 a Canadian citizen. Because their great-grandparent was a Canadian citizen, it means that their
00:03:12.040 grandparent, who was born abroad, not a Canadian citizen, is automatically recognized as a Canadian
00:03:19.100 citizen as they were born to a citizen, the great-grandparent. And now their parent, who is
00:03:24.720 not a Canadian citizen, who was born abroad, is automatically recognized as a Canadian citizen
00:03:30.600 as they were born to the newly, newly recognized Gen 2 Canadian,
00:03:34.800 the grandparent of our applicant,
00:03:36.420 who is automatically recognized as a Canadian citizen
00:03:40.260 as they were born to the newly, newly recognized Generation 3 Canadian.
00:03:44.700 So because this person is a Canadian citizen,
00:03:47.180 all of these people are automatically, because of Bill C-3, a Canadian citizen.
00:03:52.140 This is nuts.
00:03:53.480 Are we not supposed to be making it harder for people to come to this country?
00:03:58.140 Wasn't that the discussion from the election last year and over the last year since, talking
00:04:04.480 about fewer temporary foreign workers, fewer people coming to the country?
00:04:08.240 It drives up costs, costs of living, housing's almost impossible to find because we have 1.00
00:04:12.620 too many people here. 1.00
00:04:14.040 But instead, we make it easier by giving away Canadian citizenship, which is supposed to 0.90
00:04:19.740 have some kind of value, but has the value of toilet paper right now.
00:04:24.460 And if you're a Trump derangement syndrome leftist living in the United States right now and you want to escape the terrible United States for the socialist utopia of Canada and you have somebody in your family from 100 years ago that was a Canadian citizen, are you not applying for Canadian citizenship so you can just walk across the border and get all the free health care that the Americans talk about?
00:04:48.780 Would you not be doing that as well?
00:04:50.500 Of course you would.
00:04:51.240 And by the way, this just doesn't apply to American citizens, and there may be millions of
00:04:55.920 them. This applies to anybody around the world. If you live in a s-hole country over in the Middle
00:05:02.240 East, and somebody in your family from years ago was a Canadian citizen, are you not applying 1.00
00:05:07.500 for Canadian citizenship right now? How is this even possible? How did this happen?
00:05:13.600 Well, it was another one of those C-bills, folks. It was called Bill C-3. On June 5, 0.67
00:05:19.540 2025, the government introduced Bill C-3, an act to amend the Citizenship Act, to extend
00:05:26.340 citizenship by dissent beyond the first generation in a way that is more inclusive and protects the
00:05:34.060 value of Canadian citizenship. I've highlighted this just for a reason here. The bill received
00:05:40.200 royal assent on November 20th, 2025, and came into effect on December 15th, 2025. This means
00:05:47.520 that IRCC now recognizes new eligible citizens and is applying the new rules for passing citizenship
00:05:54.660 on going forward. Of course, the federal government didn't even appeal this. This
00:05:59.280 expands their voter base. A lot of leftists moving up from the United States into Canada
00:06:03.900 to vote liberal, kind of like the temporary foreign workers who have just disappeared in
00:06:08.360 the country. The feds don't know where they are. They know where you are, but they don't know where
00:06:12.980 the temporary foreign workers are. Back to this article again, Americans who obtain dual
00:06:17.680 citizenship with Canada can benefit from citizenship of both countries, including
00:06:21.300 the right to enter Canada and settle here permanently if they wish. Some are looking
00:06:26.340 for their certificate to enable them to apply for a Canadian passport, of course. And then the
00:06:31.040 numbers down here, the wait for proof of Canadian citizenship just hit 12 months and demand is still
00:06:36.280 climbing. In July of 2025, it was five months. And of course, this will expand government.
00:06:41.660 They're going to need more people to process all of these people applying for Canadian citizenship.
00:06:46.600 By the numbers, over 14,000 new applicants joined the queue in the past month.
00:06:51.060 In January, U.S. applicants alone outnumbered the next nine source countries combined.
00:06:55.740 Now, by the way, for those of you concerned about these new citizens accessing things like health care or other services here in Canada,
00:07:05.780 I thought about that as well.
00:07:07.020 But think about health care.
00:07:08.340 It is a provincial matter.
00:07:09.480 and in order to access Alberta health care, you would have to be a resident here. The same thing
00:07:15.200 would go for being in Manitoba or Ontario or another province. The other thing I thought
00:07:20.240 about was foreign interference in elections because this is very valuable. We've had this 0.96
00:07:25.440 happen in Canada before. What about voting? Can somebody who lives in the United States
00:07:30.520 or somewhere else in the world that has never been a resident in Canada vote in an election?
00:07:36.220 No, you have to be a resident here. You have to have an address. Now, I have no doubt there are
00:07:42.280 people right now trying to figure a way around these things. How do I get an address in Alberta
00:07:47.260 or Manitoba or Ontario to access health care, which is incredibly valuable, or get voting rights
00:07:54.040 in upcoming elections? Surely there is somebody or some country that's trying to figure out a way
00:08:00.660 around that, and I don't know who that would be. China. Anyway, I hope that provinces and the 0.95
00:08:06.900 country are vigilant when it comes to this, although I expect vigilance from the former
00:08:11.560 and not the latter. Aren't we supposed to be making it harder for people to come to Canada,
00:08:18.040 not easier? I thought that was the plan. Thank you very much for watching. If you like this video,
00:08:22.960 give it a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, ring the bell for notifications. I'll see you
00:08:27.840 in the next one.
