00:00:33.500Canada is giving away citizenship and no one is talking about it.
00:00:37.020Well, folks, they might be talking about it a lot more now because things have changed.
00:00:42.220And an article popped up in the National Post about this, which I'm going to read a little bit about in just a moment.
00:00:47.680You know, after Donald Trump was elected the first time, you heard about a lot of lefties in the United States saying they were going to move out of the country.
00:00:55.520It's very hard to do if you don't have citizenship.
00:00:58.080lot of people said they were going to move to Canada. Very difficult if you don't have Canadian
00:01:01.640citizenship. People like Ellen DeGeneres, I think she moved over to England. I think Rosie O'Donnell
00:01:07.200may have moved out of the country. But these are people that have the means to do it, meaning a lot
00:01:12.240of money. You have a lot of money. You can go anywhere you want. But the average American
00:01:16.960citizen would find it difficult to move anywhere in the world and into Canada without that very,
00:01:22.280very valuable Canadian citizenship. But folks, things are about to change. I have a saying,
00:01:29.140liberals don't integrate, they infiltrate. And I'm wondering if we're going to have a great
00:01:33.720infiltration of Americans to this country because citizenship rules have changed. And this story
00:01:40.540popped up on the National Post website. U.S. applications for Canadian citizenship surge,
00:01:47.120causing delays. The increase can be attributed to a surge in applications from the U.S. with
00:01:52.920millions estimated to be eligible for Canadian citizenship based on their ancestry. I'm going
00:01:59.080to explain what this is all about the way I did back on March 4th in just a moment. Applicants
00:02:04.140for Canadian citizenship certificates now have to wait a year because of a surge of interest from
00:02:09.160Americans interested in taking advantage of new Canadian citizenship rules according to the
00:02:14.680Canadian government's processing time estimator. U.S. applications surged during the first few
00:02:20.140months of 2026, with millions south of the border estimated to be eligible for Canadian citizenship
00:02:26.560based on their ancestry after Canada changed its citizenship law. The wait will be shorter
00:02:32.460for applicants who filed in December 2025 before the American surge. Under the change, if a
00:02:38.400citizenship applicant was born before December 15th, 2025, and can trace his or her lineage back
00:02:45.160to a Canadian ancestor, they are automatically eligible to apply for proof of Canadian citizenship.
00:02:51.420And this is the way I described it back on March the 4th. So let me explain this to you with this
00:02:57.300graph. And I'm going to start at the bottom with Generation 4, the applicant who wants to become
00:03:03.140a Canadian citizen. Because their great-grandparent was a Canadian citizen, it means that their
00:03:12.040grandparent, who was born abroad, not a Canadian citizen, is automatically recognized as a Canadian
00:03:19.100citizen as they were born to a citizen, the great-grandparent. And now their parent, who is
00:03:24.720not a Canadian citizen, who was born abroad, is automatically recognized as a Canadian citizen
00:03:30.600as they were born to the newly, newly recognized Gen 2 Canadian,
00:04:14.040But instead, we make it easier by giving away Canadian citizenship, which is supposed to0.90
00:04:19.740have some kind of value, but has the value of toilet paper right now.
00:04:24.460And if you're a Trump derangement syndrome leftist living in the United States right now and you want to escape the terrible United States for the socialist utopia of Canada and you have somebody in your family from 100 years ago that was a Canadian citizen, are you not applying for Canadian citizenship so you can just walk across the border and get all the free health care that the Americans talk about?
