00:00:00.160 Something very strange happened to me yesterday.
00:00:03.480 After talking about Alberta independence for years, especially over the last year,
00:00:08.760 I was sitting with my wife and it dawned on me,
00:00:12.140 Alberta is about to vote to leave Canada.
00:00:15.840 And looking at the news this morning, just in time.
00:00:23.120 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel Wednesday, April 1st.
00:00:26.820 No fooling today, folks. Don't get fooled.
00:00:30.000 By an April Fool's joke today, great to have you along. I do have the big blue mug of coffee.
00:00:35.540 I appreciate you being here today. And let me ask you a question.
00:00:41.040 Do you find it hard to follow everything that's going on these days?
00:00:47.040 Are things coming at you so fast that you can't keep track? I find myself that way. And I don't
00:00:53.720 think it's because I'm getting older. I think things come at us pretty fast these days. Back
00:00:58.460 in the old days, folks, I was actually having a discussion about this last week with a friend who's
00:01:02.360 about the same age. Back in the old days, we used to get news at noon, 6, and 11, and that was it.
00:01:07.720 And you didn't pay much attention during the day, and now you get news constantly. It's a constant
00:01:12.160 barrage of information. I think it's too much. That's why I take a step back. God love the people
00:01:17.960 that are there all day long following this stuff. No doubt you watch a number of them. I follow the
00:01:22.820 news, but I'm not obsessed with it. There was something that came up yesterday, and it was on
00:01:27.660 my mind last night when I went to sleep. How am I going to cover this thing? Because it concerns
00:01:32.600 me. It's going to come up in this video. But what I realized this morning was that
00:01:38.880 the liberals are flooding the zone. These things are coming at you so fast you can't keep track
00:01:46.600 of them. It's distracting. Okay. What is flooding the zone? Well, here it is right here. A political
00:01:52.420 strategy in which a political figure aims to gain media attention, disorient opponents,
00:01:57.180 and distract the public from undesirable reports by rapidly forwarding large volumes of newsworthy
00:02:02.900 information to the media. Now, it's been attributed to Donald Trump's former strategist,
00:02:07.980 Steve Bannon, but I knew about this long before this. I knew what flooding the zone was.
00:02:13.720 Everything's Trump these days. But what am I talking about? Well, I'm going to get to the
00:02:18.340 thing that really concerned me yesterday. And there's a lot more other things going on here.
00:02:22.080 I'm going to focus on a few of them. What was the first thing that the federal government did?
00:02:27.020 Well, they went after your guns. This was the first thing. They created this gun buyback program
00:02:33.520 and pretty soon people in Canada are going to be criminals because they haven't handed over
00:02:38.980 guns to the federal government. Law-abiding citizens will be criminals because the liberals
00:02:44.720 don't like their guns. Here's a report just from yesterday. So these rifles must be turned in for
00:02:50.640 destruction by the end of October, but today is the final day that their owners can apply
00:02:55.480 for the buyback program to be paid to be financially compensated for turning in their arms.
00:03:00.960 March 31st was the last day for you to be compensated for handing in these weapons the
00:03:05.700 liberals don't like. And at the end of October, if you don't hand in the weapons, you're going
00:03:10.160 to be a criminal. And I can see you next spring coming back from a vacation down south and at
00:03:16.360 the border, some border officer looks at a list and they find out you've got a gun and they put
00:03:20.660 you in handcuffs. This is what I'm very afraid of. Now, what's the next thing they're doing?
00:03:24.840 And there are a lot of other things. Don't get me wrong. But these are the big ones. The next one is they're going after your speech. Now, with the first one, they say they're going to go after your guns to fight crime. Now they're going after your speech. They wrap it up in protecting children. We know about Bill C-9. I'm concerned about Bill C-9. The conservatives in government are concerned about Bill C-9, but they're not having much luck.
00:03:47.300 When this is the Conservative justice team, in a 35-minute meeting, the Liberal members of the Justice Committee with the backing of the Liberal government and bloc have just forced through the divisive and toxic Bill C-9, which takes squarely aimed at religious freedom and freedom of expression.
00:04:03.580 The reason the meeting was so efficient was because debate was banned. The Liberals censored debate on their censorship bill.
00:04:10.520 Bill C-9 will go to the Senate. It will be passed. We'll have this speech law in Canada. They say it's to protect religious institutions. Too bad the Liberals aren't doing anything about the burning of churches across the country, you know, Christian churches, but we'll talk about that another day. So they're after your guns. They're after your speech. What are they going after now? Let's go after nature.
00:04:32.080 Today, we're launching a force of nature, Canada's strategy to protect nature.
00:04:39.040 This is an ambitious new plan that invests $3.8 billion of new funds across three pillars,
00:04:49.580 protecting nature, building Canada well, and valuing nature and mobilizing capital.
00:04:56.880 Exactly how is this going to happen?
00:05:00.580 Now, there are people online who are doing deep dives into this on how they're going to get this
00:05:05.760 land. The federal government only has possession of 6% of the land in Canada. They want to make
00:05:11.140 30% protected to protect nature. That's the latest thing. How are they going to do this?
00:05:15.400 They're going to have to take somebody's land. Is it going to be yours? Are they going to put
00:05:20.900 these protected areas around natural resources so we can't get them out of the ground?
00:05:25.100 That's what I'm afraid of. And that's what I think is coming. And they better keep their
00:05:31.340 hands off of Alberta. But Julie DeBruzan, who's the Minister of the Environment,
00:05:36.160 Climate Change and Nature, says the government can't do this alone. We need private investment.
00:05:42.520 Part of this announcement today, $3.8 billion, as you say, new national parks,
00:05:47.880 marine conservation sites, more. But you said you cannot do it with public money alone.
00:05:54.620 There's this question of catalyzing private investments.
00:05:58.340 Just how much of this plan to conserve almost 30% of Canada does the private sector need to pay for?
00:06:06.580 So, you know, when we look at, for example, just this summer, I was in Northwest Territories where we announced a project for permanence that protects 30% of the Northwest Territories.
00:06:16.920 It's about 2% of Canada's landmass.
00:06:19.300 It was done in partnership with 21 Indigenous nations.
00:06:23.040 That was something that is through the PFP process.
00:06:27.540 It's public dollars, but it's also with matching from philanthropic dollars that add to it
00:06:33.020 and help us to be able to move forward with that kind of project.
00:06:37.080 So there's a long history of actually using public funds to help catalyze private or philanthropic investments.
00:06:46.540 What the hell is actually going on here?
00:06:49.380 This is flooding the zone, folks.
00:06:51.280 This just popped up yesterday.
00:06:53.040 But I think this has been in the works for quite some time, but we've heard nothing about it.
00:06:57.940 Julie DeBruzan, and it said on the screen there, Minister of the Environment, Climate Change,
00:07:02.980 and Nature. That wasn't the title when Stephen Guibo was the Environment Minister last year.
00:07:09.700 They added the nature part, and now we've got Carney walking out with Julie DeBruzan in behind
00:07:14.640 him saying they're going to protect nature. Who is going to invest privately in nature?
00:07:22.260 China?
00:07:23.860 Can I foresee this in the future?
00:07:32.660 So, they're going after your guns to protect you from crime.
00:07:35.860 They're going after your speech to protect children.
00:07:38.460 They're going after the land to protect nature.
00:07:42.080 And they go after your money.
00:07:44.620 And they flooded the zone with money the last couple of days.
00:07:47.140 Are you keeping count here?
00:07:48.300 What did he just announce with the nature thing?
00:07:50.500 $3.8 billion. What was it just yesterday or the day before? $4.4 billion with Doug Ford in Ontario.
00:07:58.280 Through the Build Community Strong Fund, Canada will invest $4.4 billion over 10 years.
00:08:06.920 My math tells me the federal government is spending more than $8 billion just over the
00:08:12.040 last couple of days, but who's keeping count? It's just money. Your money. And now they're
00:08:16.920 going after a majority you know in 13 days there's going to be some by-elections the liberals have a
00:08:22.580 majority and they'll be able to do all of these things to you and more and they're doing it with
00:08:27.700 those treasonous floor crossers including michael maw and there's carney out at a fundraiser with
00:08:33.220 michael maw praising the guy you know the forced labor denier and he joined as he said he was
00:08:41.780 guided by the values of building up others. Delivering results is a result-oriented individual
00:08:48.440 and choosing a path that creates opportunities. Carney says he accepts Michael Ma's apology when
00:08:54.880 it comes to forced labor denial. But of course, Carney's been given his marching orders from his
00:09:00.140 handlers in China. Meanwhile, you've got Pierre Polyev, who is slipping closer to a relevance
00:09:06.340 day by day as we get closer to those by-elections on April the 13th. He's saying the right things.
00:09:11.780 He's trying to save you money, $90 billion.
00:09:15.860 Here he is just yesterday.
00:09:17.540 I am announcing today that Conservatives oppose the $90 billion Liberal Alto train
00:09:22.800 that we call on the Kearney Liberals to cancel it,
00:09:26.240 and I am confirming that a future Conservative government
00:09:29.260 will cancel this $90 billion boondoggle altogether.
00:09:33.760 We will save Canadians $90 billion or $8,000 per family.
00:09:38.120 We will use the savings to lower debt, taxes, and inflation.
00:09:42.060 Polyev's right on this thing.
00:09:44.360 $90 billion is a lot of money.
00:09:46.620 And Canada's broke.
00:09:47.660 Deficits are huge.
00:09:49.040 Can't afford it.
00:09:50.220 Even Andrew Coyne agrees with Pierre Polyev on this.
00:09:54.140 And he doesn't agree with very much at all with Pierre Polyev.
00:09:58.220 But the thing's going to go through, folks.
00:10:00.580 Because this is the legacy of Justin Trudeau.
00:10:04.220 This is his baby.
00:10:05.940 And there's no way they're going to cancel this at this point.
00:10:08.280 by the way if you've never driven from toronto into quebec beautiful land through there lovely
00:10:15.420 land you go through havelock marmara through muskoka million dollar mansions in that area
00:10:19.720 absolutely gorgeous pristine nature i wonder if carney's going to protect that
00:10:24.340 from this boondoggle 90 billion dollar boondoggle but here's the question i want to ask you
00:10:30.320 how is any of this making your life better as they flood the zone with these distractions and more
00:10:37.400 is your life better because of this is life more affordable how's the cost of living how's the cost
00:10:43.340 of groceries all things carney said he was going to make better how's the trade war with the united
00:10:48.060 states going right now is that better no he's accomplished really nothing as he floods the zone
00:10:54.600 canada is sleepwalking into a disaster are you paying attention i started off the video saying
00:11:01.100 you know what alberta is going to have a vote on independence in the fall
00:11:04.040 we got other provinces are toying with the idea right now in saskatchewan
00:11:10.000 and in british columbia they're a lot farther behind us but they're thinking about it
00:11:15.580 i see what's going on here my fellow albertans see what's going on here the independence
00:11:22.360 fence sitters see what's going on here and in 12 days there'll be a majority government
00:11:27.800 for the liberal party and that'll push even more people towards independence
00:11:32.540 Canada you're sleepwalking your way into disaster and to that I say as somebody who
00:11:40.720 wants Alberta to be independent faster please Mr. Carney thanks a lot for watching this video if
00:11:49.080 you liked it give it a thumbs up subscribe to the channel ring the bell for notifications
00:11:53.380 I'll see you in the next one
