Summary

There's more green on earth today than there was 100 years ago, and that's because of our carbon emissions. That's an inconvenient truth. I've got a solution to the climate crisis, and it's a simple one-word solution.

00:00:00.500 Hi, it's John. Just before you get into this video, I want to explain what's happened here.
00:00:07.920 I uploaded my video to YouTube and they do a check on your video for suitability for
00:00:14.680 advertisers. And this is what came up on the screen after I put this video up. And as you
00:00:20.040 can see, it says ad suitability. This video may earn limited or no ad revenue due to content
00:00:25.940 identified as not suitable for most advertisers. Now, I'd like to say that there are two swear
00:00:31.620 words that I am now going to, right after I finish recording this, delete or at least bleep
00:00:37.400 out in the video you're about to watch. But in the past, these words have been included
00:00:41.980 in videos I put up on YouTube and I've had no issues. I think this is being found as not suitable
00:00:49.880 for advertisers because YouTube does not like me talking about this issue. But I'm
00:00:56.080 going to put the video up anyway. I would just like to ask you to please like the video and
00:01:02.980 please, if you could, subscribe to the channel because we need to talk about this issue and
00:01:08.160 we can't be silenced. Thank you.
00:01:10.880 There's more green on earth today than there was a hundred years ago. And that's because
00:01:16.600 of our carbon emissions. That is an inconvenient truth. All right, Al Gore.
00:01:23.800 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel 434 AM Thursday, December the 11th. I hope you're
00:01:29.360 having a great start to your Thursday morning. I am, I've got my big blue mug of coffee. I
00:01:34.360 appreciate you being here. I really do. Thank you so much for clicking on the video. Oh, by
00:01:39.240 the way, if you have not subscribed, a lot of people come on a daily basis and they don't
00:01:44.340 subscribe. If you haven't subscribed, I would really appreciate if you would click on subscribe.
00:01:49.380 It'll really help out the channel. Remember, clicking on the big blue mug does not subscribe
00:01:53.400 you to the channel.
00:01:56.740 I went back and I looked at the video from the other day of question period, and this would be
00:02:03.100 of the 9th. So this was the day when the conservatives put the question in front of the liberals
00:02:08.740 regarding the memorandum of understanding. They basically asked the liberals to support the
00:02:13.800 pipeline that they say they support, but they voted against it. That's how it worked. I went back and
00:02:20.340 watched that. And in the 50 to an hour of video that I watched, it was incredible how many times the
00:02:30.040 liberals brought up carbon pricing and net zero and things like this. I mentioned in a video the other
00:02:35.280 day that next year will mark the 20th anniversary of Al Gore's science fiction movie, An Inconvenient
00:02:43.220 Truth. You know what? I was thinking as well, I was thinking he'll probably come out with an
00:02:47.320 anniversary edition next year to tell you how much worse things are getting when it comes to
00:02:51.700 climate change. And while I'm thinking about it, would you please like this video and share it? Because
00:02:56.800 YouTube does not like me talking about this. They throttle these videos and they'll put the little
00:03:03.020 Wikipedia thing right below this video if you're watching it right now with the propaganda about
00:03:07.740 how fossil fuels are destroying the planet. But it'll be 20 years next year, the anniversary of
00:03:14.760 An Inconvenient Truth. And just before I get to a little montage of all the fear-mongering we've had
00:03:22.000 about this, I want to tell you that I've got a solution to the climate crisis, the climate emergency.
00:03:26.960 If you're worried about the climate emergency and the climate crisis, of which I am not,
00:03:33.100 I have a one-word solution to this problem coming up in just a couple of minutes. One word. We'll
00:03:38.700 solve all of this problem so we don't have to hold back our economy because that's what's happening
00:03:43.820 because of this. We're holding back our economy. We're not getting pipelines because the people on
00:03:48.800 the liberal side of the aisle are scared that the world's going to come to an end because of
00:03:54.700 climate change and we're in a climate emergency. I've got a one-word solution to you. But let's
00:03:59.000 just go through a few of the times the liberals mentioned this. Now this is just a few of the
00:04:04.080 times. I didn't even go through the whole video, but I didn't want to bore you to death of Mark Carney
00:04:09.040 and Tim Houston talking about the climate crisis, folks, that does not exist.
00:04:14.920 He forgot the industrial carbon price, the strengthening of that price. He forgot the
00:04:26.260 methane regulations. He forgot net zero 2050.
00:04:30.620 It's not just pathways. It is a price on industrial price on carbon that goes to $130 effective. It
00:04:38.300 is reductions in methane. It is net zero 2050. But he hasn't acknowledged yet the need for an
00:04:44.260 industrial carbon price or the reduction in methane. It is about an industrial carbon price
00:04:49.460 that works. It is about methane regulations that get methane down 75% so that we can have
00:04:55.300 the lowest emission, low risk, lowest cost oil in the world and build this country.
00:05:00.080 In the memorandum of understanding that we can get united behind, like the carbon price,
00:05:05.440 the conservative motion conveniently ignores strengthening industrial carbon pricing.
00:05:10.380 The liberals are all in on this. They believe in carbon trading. They believe in carbon taxes.
00:05:15.740 They believe in carbon sequestration, which is burying it under the ground. And they're willing
00:05:20.560 to sacrifice the Canadian economy because of this. And actually sacrifice the country because of this.
00:05:27.240 Because one of the reasons why Alberta wants to leave is because we can't get anything done.
00:05:31.820 We can't build pipelines. And I think that despite the fact we're talking about warming here,
00:05:37.940 this has a chilling effect on investment. And I think that's part of the plan. They don't want a
00:05:41.380 pipeline. And all these things get in the way of us building a pipeline. You have to understand,
00:05:45.920 this is the biggest business in the world. The global warming business. It's bigger than everything.
00:05:52.880 It's worth trillions of dollars. Trillions of dollars of taxpayers' money because most of it
00:05:57.140 is subsidies from governments, from you to the green industry. Big green. They call it big oil.
00:06:04.560 Well, there's big green and it's the biggest. We're talking trillions of dollars have been wasted
00:06:09.600 over the years on this. The liberals truly believe if they carbon tax you and if they bury carbon in the
00:06:14.660 ground and they do carbon trading, they can change the weather. Paulyev's best line the other day
00:06:18.940 when he was talking about this in the House of Commons.
00:06:23.080 No matter how high they raise the taxes, they're not going to change the weather.
00:06:28.380 Great line from Paulyev there. Terrific line. You know, people have been trying to change the weather
00:06:32.480 for millennia. The natives used to do rain dances. They used to throw people into volcanoes. And now we
00:06:37.720 tax you to try to change the weather. It's absurd. You know, and it's like liberals are standing at the
00:06:43.080 street corner, you know, dressed in shabby clothes, holding a little sign saying,
00:06:46.640 the end is nigh. This is the kind of mentality we're dealing with here. But this is the biggest
00:06:51.980 business in the world. I'll take you back to something that former Prime Minister Stephen
00:06:55.620 Harper once said. A carbon tax is not about reducing emissions. It's a front for raising revenues. And
00:07:01.300 that's what this is about. Now, the question you have to ask is, when did all this begin? Now, I talked
00:07:06.940 about, I'm going to get to my one word solution to all of this. Because we're spending millions,
00:07:12.640 if not billions of dollars on trying to change the weather in our country. And countries around
00:07:16.680 the world are doing that as well. But you have to look back. When did all this begin? Did it begin
00:07:21.780 with Al Gore's science fiction movie that I mentioned earlier? No. That was just 20 years ago. You can
00:07:27.480 actually go back to this point right here. It takes us back to June 23rd, 1988, when James Hansen,
00:07:35.240 director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, started screaming that the whole world was going
00:07:40.480 to come to an end. And he's still doing it to this very day in Washington, on a very hot day in
00:07:46.680 Washington, which I think had an effect on what legislators there at the time thought about this
00:07:51.340 issue. But you know what's really funny about this? You can go back and probably find this on
00:07:57.120 YouTube right now. Leonard Nimoy, you know, Mr. Spock from Star Trek, used to do a television
00:08:01.880 program called In Search Of. He actually did a whole episode on global cooling, because prior
00:08:08.180 to 1988, scientists thought the world was going to, we were going to freeze. And here's what you need
00:08:13.300 to understand as well. 15 times more people die in the cold than in the heat. But what I want to do
00:08:18.860 here is I want to look back at just really over the last 20 years, just some of the things that have
00:08:23.420 been said about this problem that we've got here, the climate crisis that the people want us to
00:08:28.720 believe in. We were told in Al Gore's apocalyptic science fiction movie 20 years ago that there would
00:08:35.880 be no more polar bears. There's more of them than there used to be. Gore predicted there would be no
00:08:40.920 ice caps by 2014. They're there and they're growing. He predicted that water levels would be
00:08:48.560 overflowing in Amsterdam and in Florida. That hasn't happened either. The apocalyptic predictions keep
00:08:56.440 coming. We keep spending more money on this issue, but nothing ever seems to get better.
00:09:02.580 What's the definition of insanity? So my one word solution to this climate emergency is coming up
00:09:10.860 in just a moment, but just a short montage of some of the things that have been said about this
00:09:16.280 non-issue over the last 20 years.
00:09:19.480 If Greenland broke up and melted, or if half of Greenland and half of West Antarctica broke up and
00:09:28.220 melted, this is what would happen to the sea level in Florida.
00:09:37.540 This is what would happen to San Francisco Bay.
00:09:40.240 A lot of people live in these areas. The Netherlands, one of the low countries.
00:09:50.640 Absolutely devastating.
00:09:52.280 Reality is though that with climate change, there are going to be more extreme weather events. So we
00:09:57.640 need to continue to step up in our fight against climate change.
00:10:01.200 Students are calling on legislators to declare a statewide climate emergency.
00:10:05.100 The youth-led climate crisis group, known as Yucca, brought out dozens to the capital to raise
00:10:11.860 awareness about the issue. The students stood outside the entrance to the roundhouse, some of
00:10:16.700 them with nooses around their necks and ropes, holding guillotines on ice blocks. Their goal was
00:10:22.860 obviously to grab people's attention.
00:10:24.920 We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of
00:10:33.040 eternal economic growth. How dare you?
00:10:39.800 I'm so concerned with the fact that if they're not going to change anything, then what's going to
00:10:44.720 happen to humankind, what's going to happen to our, what's going to happen to the whole world
00:10:50.000 world? If, if no one does anything.
00:10:56.760 Images like these are prompting some politicians to declare a Canadian climate change emergency.
00:11:03.840 The climate emergencies are about recognizing that we are in a situation that is of concern,
00:11:09.500 not just to governments, but to all Canadians.
00:11:11.760 We have both far, far too many fossil fuels in the world. We're going to have enormous stranded assets,
00:11:16.880 half of gas, three quarters of coal, etc. Maybe up as much as half of oil reserves, proven reserves,
00:11:22.720 need to stay in the ground if we're going to get to where we are.
00:11:24.720 This is David Suzuki live from the North Pole. Climate change has forced Santa to pack up his sleigh and
00:11:32.240 find a new home. This holiday season makes Santa's wish come true. With a gift you buy here,
00:11:38.720 you'll help him set up a temporary workshop until he can return.
00:11:42.720 The amount of clips like that are just analysts online. It's just climate fear. It's a good way
00:11:54.800 to motivate people with fear, right? And, and the way we present our weather these days has become
00:11:59.760 more apocalyptic. You hear words like heat domes and polar vortex and atmospheric river. Environment
00:12:07.520 Canada is changing the way they're presenting weather now with color-coded weather alerts. Now,
00:12:13.200 they say that the red one, which is dangerous, is going to be rare, but do you believe them?
00:12:18.800 Because they have to ramp up the fear about this issue.
00:12:22.960 When you're reading an article online and it talks about it getting warm outside, like summer when it
00:12:27.840 hits 28 degrees, when you read the article, do you always look for the words climate change? Because
00:12:33.280 inevitably it will come up in a news story. And I remember a few years ago,
00:12:37.040 we were seeing a lot of days where we were getting extreme heat warnings here in Calgary. And I
00:12:40.960 wondered why, because it was only about 28 degrees outside. It wasn't that warm. I called Environment
00:12:46.560 Canada. They lowered the threshold by a couple of degrees. So they have more heat warnings these days.
00:12:52.640 And I think that's just part of the propaganda. But instead of spending trillions of dollars on this
00:12:59.040 issue, which we're doing to see no results at all, I expect to see some results. When I pay money to
00:13:06.160 this and we're paying a lot of money into this, I expect to see results. And all we hear is things
00:13:11.440 are getting worse. We have to do more. Little Canada has to do more. Giant country with lots of trees
00:13:18.720 that suck up carbon dioxide. And we have to spend more money on this. And we have to stand in the
00:13:23.920 House of Commons and vote against a pipeline because of carbon capture, because of carbon sequestration.
00:13:30.880 So what do I see as the answer to this, instead of spending trillions of dollars to get no results
00:13:37.760 at all? One word. And here it is.
00:13:41.760 Adapt. Don't you think that's a better idea than spending trillions of dollars worldwide
00:13:55.520 to accomplish nothing? And to have your government come back and say,
00:14:00.640 we have to spend more of your money to accomplish more nothing.
00:14:05.120 You know, if you're really concerned about this problem, if you think this is really a problem,
00:14:11.520 I do not. I don't call it a hoax. I call it a scam. Al Gore is a very rich man because of this.
00:14:19.440 Mark Carney's making a lot of money on this and he's going to make a lot of money for his friends
00:14:23.600 on your dime because of this. But don't you think it'd make more sense to just adapt instead of wasting
00:14:30.240 our time and money on this? If water's rising, put up a wall. If you have a problem with wildfires,
00:14:36.960 you get rid of the dry kindling in the forest so Jasper doesn't burn down.
00:14:41.680 That's what we should be doing. That's called preventative medicine.
00:14:45.760 It just sickens me to see our government stand there in the House of Commons
00:14:51.040 and talk about carbon taxes and carbon sequestration and hold back the economy based on this issue.
00:14:59.120 When what we're doing here is accomplishing absolutely nothing. We need to adapt. I'm going
00:15:05.120 to leave one more clip off the end of this. Some scientists are going to end this clip. I appreciate
00:15:10.560 you being here. Thank you so much. If you liked the video, give it a thumbs up, subscribe to the
00:15:14.720 channel. Ring the bell for notifications. I'll see you in the next one.
00:15:19.360 It's a wonderful business opportunity, okay? You want climate, we'll give you climate.
00:15:24.960 There's a huge amount of money involved and this is a huge big money scam.
00:15:30.000 There are not just now billions, but there are trillions of dollars at stake.
00:15:36.320 It's a story of self-interest and big government funding.
00:15:39.520 People like me, our careers depend on funding of climate research. This is what I've been doing
00:15:47.280 just about my whole career. This is what the other climate researchers are doing with their
00:15:51.440 whole career. They don't want this to end. If CO2 isn't having the huge negative impacts that we
00:15:57.680 claimed it was having originally, how are we going to stay in business? A lot of people's livelihoods
00:16:03.520 depend on it. They're not going to give that up.
