The incident that we're talking about here, tell me a little bit about this.
00:00:19.360
We went to the pool, there was some cartoon characters there, Tubi Ambino.
00:00:27.080
So they took some photos, then my wife jumped into the pool.
00:00:32.400
I decided to ease myself, take the steps, take the other end of the pool, get to the pool.
00:00:43.020
Someone was screaming and just, what's going on?
00:00:48.740
Did you initially think about your children and your daughter Ellaria?
00:00:55.420
So she's only two and a half, just going on three at this point.
00:00:59.740
And did you think about your children immediately?
00:01:03.740
Because I know Ellaria and Eliana, my other kid.
00:01:11.420
When did you notice that there's something wrong?
00:01:13.740
So I heard that screaming, then I went to see what's going on and I found my wife was screaming.
00:01:21.060
I have no idea how I went from the other end of the pool to the other end, but I found myself there.
00:01:30.060
I found her pulling up, uh, Ellaria, what's going on?
00:01:42.380
So basically she jumped in and she noticed that Ellaria is not around.
00:01:49.380
She started asking some of our friends who were, who were, uh, by the pool, where is Ellaria?
00:01:56.700
So she tried actually to jump out of the pool to look for her, uh, thinking that she might
00:02:02.620
have followed 2B and B, you know, the cartoon's characters.
00:02:05.700
So, thank God she couldn't, thank God she couldn't go out.
00:02:10.980
So she decided to go to the corner so she, so she may get...
00:02:17.580
And her way to the corner, she found Ellaria floating.
00:02:24.740
So your wife takes Ellaria out of the pool and hands her to you?
00:02:31.320
So he, when he started to do, uh, kind of mouth-to-mouth to her, she was, she was blue.
00:02:47.960
She opened her eyes, stared, and there was no pulse.
00:03:04.400
So I carried her, facing out, trying to squeeze her abdominal, running with her to the reception.
00:03:26.520
Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.
00:03:34.200
Then, then, uh, thank God we, there was a Canadian nurse on the same, on the same trip.
00:03:54.320
This is when she started to breathe again and there was some pulse back.
00:03:58.560
So after all this happened, she ended up spending how much time in the hospital on your vacation?
00:04:07.560
I mean, obviously, you, you have the best in mind for your children all the time.
00:04:11.560
What I learned, no matter what, around water we need to be careful.
00:04:15.560
No matter how good you are, how good of a swimmer you are, how good, you know, how shallow it is.
00:04:23.560
And does Ellaria remember any of this and how is she doing now?
00:04:27.560
Actually, she's, she's doing, she's doing good.
00:04:29.560
So, actually, this happened Thursday and Friday.
00:04:34.560
Well, we're really happy to know that she's doing all right.
00:04:47.560
Second thing, that floating devices need to be there always.
00:04:56.560
And all, most of us goes, you know, goes to the pools or vacation with, on the ocean,
00:05:10.560
Some, some of us even use their boats and go to the lakes.
00:05:13.560
You know, adult or minor, please put your life jacket on.
00:05:19.560
It's, you know, it won't be cool if any, if, if we had lost any one of our families.
00:05:36.560
Well, thanks for telling your story and we hope people learn from this.
00:05:39.560
We're so happy your family came back safe and sound.
00:05:46.560
And at the meeting you're going to be hosting in the queue.
