John Bolton - Food, Family & Fun... and you're invited today

00:00:00.760 Hi, it's John and welcome. Great to have you here today. Obviously, I'm not in my regular place right now.

00:00:07.380 Normally, I record over there, just to the left of that divider. That's where my studio is.

00:00:14.180 I just thought I'd set up my camera here. This is where I am in my basement. Big blue chair, big blue mug, TV over there.

00:00:20.880 And I thought I'd record a quick video about an event happening today.

00:00:25.220 I'm going to be leaving in about two hours to head up to Mirror,

00:00:29.180 up to the Whistle Stop Cafe, Chris Scott's place,

00:00:31.760 for a fantastic event today that you're invited to.

00:00:34.580 Now, anybody can come,

00:00:36.280 but I'm assuming there's going to be a lot of people in the independence movement today.

00:00:40.300 And this is an event that's being put on by Jason and Paula Levine, The Levine Show.

00:00:44.580 And special thanks going out to Paula.

00:00:47.200 Paula, we love you.

00:00:48.620 I guess she's been doing a lot of work on this and working very hard at this event.

00:00:52.380 Starting around 1 o'clock this afternoon,

00:00:54.260 We're expecting music, four different bands, five different entertainers happening today.

00:01:00.400 And you're invited to come.

00:01:01.680 Bring along your chairs.

00:01:02.720 You need a place to sit.

00:01:04.280 Put on a hat.

00:01:05.820 You might want to bring an umbrella to keep the sun off you.

00:01:07.920 Looks like the weather is going to be terrific today.

00:01:10.100 This is going to be a lot of food, family, and fun today at the Whistle Stop.

00:01:14.480 And you are invited for free.

00:01:16.180 Not going to cost anything because of great organizations like Pathway to Independence,

00:01:21.180 which is Corey Morgan's third-party advertiser.

00:01:24.200 The Alberta Women for Independence, Kathy Flett, Angela Tabak, Let Alberta Decide, which is Tanya Clemens and Keith Wilson,

00:01:31.180 and of course, Chris Scott, not a third-party advertiser, but Let's Talk Alberta putting on this event today.

00:01:37.540 And it is for free because of them.

00:01:40.160 Now, what's this about today?

00:01:41.820 It's not about politics.

00:01:43.620 We are thanking people who have helped out with the Alberta independence movement.

00:01:47.380 I think that's what Jason and Paula want to do.

00:01:49.820 Thank you for getting out there to collect all those signatures earlier this year.

00:01:53.660 Thank you for being a third-party advertiser.

00:01:56.200 Thank you to all the volunteers working on the front lines

00:01:59.200 and everybody in behind that is working behind the scenes

00:02:02.500 to get us Alberta independence.

00:02:04.280 But are there going to be a lot of speeches today?

00:02:06.540 No.

00:02:08.160 I'm going to be emceeing the event.

00:02:10.180 I don't expect to say a lot other than introducing the different bands

00:02:13.560 that are out there today and saying there's a little boy here

00:02:16.260 who's missing his mommy and eating a lot of food and having a lot of fun.

00:02:22.340 It's been a difficult week, particularly the last couple of days,

00:02:27.340 but let's leave that behind us today.

00:02:30.400 It's perfect timing for this event. I hope to see you there.

00:02:33.720 Again, it kicks off at around 1 o'clock today.

00:02:36.060 Get there early to find yourself a place close to the stage.

00:02:38.780 Say hi to everybody. Leave the politics behind, and let's focus on the fun.

00:02:44.820 Thanks a lot. I'll see you in Mirror.
