John Bolton - How Are These Things Possible？ - Crazy, Presposterous Canada is broken -

00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. It is 5 a.m. I'm recording this early today out

00:00:09.000 at a petition signing event. I wanted to put this video up because a couple of stories have

00:00:13.740 popped up over the last few days that I wanted to talk about, but some of them might not have

00:00:18.340 as much meat on the bone, if you know what I'm talking about. Maybe not standalone stories. So

00:00:23.300 I wanted to talk about a few of these things that are all happening in the same space at the same

00:00:27.200 time, crazily, insanely here in Canada at the same time. I have my big blue mug of coffee. I tip it

00:00:35.440 to you today. So let's run through a few of these things. This is the one that popped up earlier

00:00:40.440 today or maybe a little bit late yesterday. It was posted on the National Post website. And this

00:00:47.080 one just has you shaking your head in disbelief how these things can happen. Chief Justice says

00:00:53.360 existence of Canada's border is discrimination. I think I've mentioned on this channel before a lot

00:01:01.120 of things the federal government cheapen what's known as citizenship. And this does as well. The

00:01:08.620 Supreme Court says low-cost public daycare must be given to asylum seekers too. And Richard Wagner

00:01:15.880 wants to go further. I'm going to read you the first part of this story and not get deep into it.

00:01:21.820 Anyone in the world who shows up in Canada and makes an asylum claim is entitled to free

00:01:27.100 subsidized daycare if citizens get it too, said all but one judge of the Supreme Court on Friday.

00:01:34.320 They framed their decision as a matter of social justice, seemingly ignorant that their words

00:01:40.020 degraded the value of Canadian citizenship by extending our social safety net, which we pay for

00:01:46.140 to unvetted foreigners. This did not go unnoticed by Bijou Chibouabou Kenyinda, a woman from the

00:01:57.600 Democratic Republic of Congo who claimed asylum in Quebec back in 2018 along with her three kids.

00:02:04.420 As a mere asylum seeker, she was unable to use the program. So she challenged it, arguing that it

00:02:10.820 violated her equality rights under the Charter. Her asylum claim was approved in 2021, but the legal

00:02:17.600 fight continued through the courts. And on Friday, she won. So this woman has used the Charter of Rights 1.00

00:02:24.340 and Freedom. She's not even a Canadian citizen to her advantage. Now, here's the thing. You know,

00:02:29.000 you think about the trucker convoy. All they wanted to do was talk to their government. They had their free

00:02:34.840 speech rights taken away. They had their bank accounts frozen. And this woman comes from another 1.00

00:02:40.000 country and is entitled to your tax dollars. And I want you to think about it from this standpoint.

00:02:45.160 The next time your mother-in-law or your mother or family member or elderly family member has an issue

00:02:51.440 or trouble trying to pay for groceries or the rent's getting too high because their CPP and OAS give them

00:02:58.740 diddly-squat after them spending their whole life working and slaving in this country and paying taxes,

00:03:04.900 I want you to think about people like this who come to the country and are taking your tax dollars.

00:03:09.800 And a lot of these people are getting more than most Canadians would get when it comes to social

00:03:14.720 services. It's ridiculous. Then we've got this story here. You know, it's just unbelievable. 0.97

00:03:23.040 At a time when we're talking about immigration, when it's been an issue, when it was an issue during the

00:03:27.560 election campaign last year, when the liberals say they're going to do something about too many people

00:03:32.520 coming here. You have too many people here. It drives up costs. It lowers wages and it drives up

00:03:37.940 costs, particularly when it comes to things like housing. We get stories like this. Canada's new

00:03:44.020 temporary residence to permanent residence pathway has launched. Listen to this. Canada's immigration

00:03:51.900 department has already launched its one-time measure to grant permanent residents to 33,000

00:03:57.720 foreign workers. Now keep in mind, these are temporary foreign workers. Immigration Minister

00:04:04.700 Lena Metledge-Diab said in an interview that the program had been launched quietly, with more details

00:04:11.700 to come in April as reported by the Toronto Star on March the 6th. The new temporary residence to

00:04:18.260 permanent residence pathway comes as a large number of temporary residents are facing the expiry of

00:04:24.040 their status. So what? Temporary. Send them home. A majority of temporary residents in Canada have 0.97

00:04:31.900 status through work permits and or study permits, which are always issued on a temporary basis with

00:04:37.960 a set expiry date. You know, a lot of the people who come here under study permits don't even end up

00:04:42.740 going to school. They're defrauding the government, meaning they're defrauding the Canadian taxpayer.

00:04:49.100 And think about these people. If they're given permanent residency, do they have any more jobs? Are 0.76

00:04:54.580 their jobs still there for them? Or are we paying for them? Send them home. That's what should be

00:05:00.040 happening. Then you've got this story. Now, if you were just to read the title of this story, you would

00:05:05.240 say, John, it's just dozens of people. But this could be a lot more people according to this story.

00:05:10.360 You've got to read below the headline, folks. Dozens of Canadians have left Iran as Ottawa lays out

00:05:16.100 evacuation options. Just a bit of this story. I don't want to give you too much commentary here.

00:05:21.440 I don't want to go on too long. Global Affairs Canada is instead surging additional personnel

00:05:26.640 to consulates and countries bordering Iran to provide visa assistance and other needs to Canadians

00:05:32.020 fleeing war. Now, I want to know who all these Canadians are. These are what you know are known as

00:05:36.220 fair weather Canadians. As long as things are going just fine in the countries that they decided to

00:05:41.060 live in, they're just Canadians of convenience. As soon as something happens, they're coming 0.97

00:05:47.100 running back to the country. And again, you have to pay for this. We've got the massive Canadian 0.60

00:05:52.020 government, which is too big, with thousands of people probably trying to bring these people back.

00:05:56.500 And the story says dozens. Let's read more of this story.

00:05:59.180 For the rest of the region, Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand said the government was

00:06:05.080 working on a number of options for getting Canadians out safely, including a limited number

00:06:09.720 of charter flights, block booking seats on commercial flights, and ground transportation.

00:06:14.740 When's the last time you took an airline flight? I took one back in January. It's expensive.

00:06:19.280 And this is going to be very expensive. I want to speak directly now to Canadians in the Middle East

00:06:23.920 and Gulf region. Your government is with you, she said. We're working hard for you. And we're

00:06:29.540 arranging options for you to leave the region. Dozens of people. As of Wednesday, more than 106,000

00:06:38.580 Canadian citizens and permanent residents in the Gulf region had registered with Global Affairs Canada

00:06:43.780 and Anand said the actual number is likely to be higher since registration with GAC is voluntary.

00:06:49.160 Now, it doesn't go on to say exactly how many people will be coming to Canada. Many of these

00:06:55.100 people, I'm sure, are hostile to Canada and hostile to people in the West and the way we

00:07:01.640 live our lives. But I'd really like to know if 106,000, and there may be more that want to

00:07:08.680 come over here. And I have no doubt that the federal government will be all on board for this to

00:07:13.660 flood our country with more people, Canadians of convenience. Then we got this story. And I'm not going to

00:07:18.540 read a lot of this one for you. I'm going to read a couple of short paragraphs. And it's the second

00:07:23.120 paragraph that just shows you how insane this is. This does not make people safe.

00:07:31.280 This is a gun buyback program, but the long arm of the federal government will eventually find you

00:07:38.780 if you don't turn in the guns they've got on their very long list of banned guns. They're going to find

00:07:43.780 you. First reading, gun buyback has cost $24,000 per gun. You know, people who commit crimes and use

00:07:51.060 guns don't hand in their guns. This is going after legal gun owners. I'm just going to read a bit of

00:07:56.400 this story to you. Just a couple of lines. The second paragraph here says it all, folks. The liberals

00:08:01.420 plan to buy back thousands of once-legal firearms has experienced so many cost overruns, it has so far

00:08:07.680 cost more than $24,000 for every gun collected. This means that for just three firearms turned over

00:08:17.160 as part of the program, the federal government could have instead paid the starting salary of a full-time

00:08:22.400 RCMP officer, which would have done a lot more to keep Canadians safe. And then we get this story.

00:08:28.460 How is this even possible, folks? You know, we just went through years

00:08:31.800 a Palestinian protest in favor of what happened on October 7th in Israel,

00:08:42.280 supporting a terrorist organization, Hamas. That's just starting to quiet down. Then we have this attack

00:08:50.300 in Iran, which I'm all in favor of, getting rid of a totalitarian, authoritarian regime, subjugates women, 0.99

00:08:56.400 kills its citizens. Glad they're gone. Hope they wipe them all out. Get rid of the Revolutionary Guard. 1.00

00:09:03.760 Save people's lives and help this country grow to a democracy. I think that's what they want.

00:09:09.100 We get stories like this in Canada. We're importing our demise, folks. Toronto cops will watch weekend

00:09:18.120 pro-Ayatollah rally, but so will Canadians. Who the hell's going to show up for this? I hope not a lot of

00:09:24.880 people. But you know what? The elbows up people will be out there because Donald Trump, along with

00:09:31.840 Netanyahu, they're the ones who have gone into Iran to get rid of the authoritarian, totalitarian regime

00:09:40.160 there. So they'll be out in the streets protesting because orange man bad folks. How is this even

00:09:45.740 possible in Canada? Because we bring too many people here, going back to those original stories, 1.00

00:09:51.220 a lot of people who are hostile to our country and our way of life here. And we get marches in the

00:09:57.240 streets like this. And as long as this war goes on, this is likely to continue. And there are pro-Ayatollah 0.90

00:10:05.720 mosques in Toronto right now who have martyred this man because they look up to this monster that was

00:10:12.540 killed by Donald Trump and Netanyahu about a week ago. How is it possible all of these things are

00:10:19.560 happening at the same time? And folks, there are more stories like this. Canada's broken.

00:10:29.460 It's shameful.
