00:09:17.060first approached in March and asked to be part of a docu-series. It just seemed like a wonderful

00:09:56.540offers traced to the same production. CBC's head of public affairs confirmed that the show is in

00:10:07.540CNN News have no involvement in this production, and that satirical prank shows are a long-established
00:10:13.200television format used by broadcasters.
00:10:16.120But on social media, many are questioning whether public dollars should be spent for
00:10:19.840pranks targeting people for their political views.
00:10:22.840The show's producer NLT1 Productions also gets funding from the Indigenous Screen Office,
00:10:28.080which describes the series as having an Indigenous activist trio that uses pranks as a form of
00:10:33.000social action, akin to shows like Borat and The Yes Men.
00:10:37.100CBC News has reached out to two people listed as involved with the production,
00:10:40.660as well as APTN and the Indigenous Screen Office, but didn't hear back before the deadline.
