00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John. Welcome to the channel. Enjoying a cup of coffee on Monday morning, December 2nd.
00:00:05.020 It is just after 5 o'clock. Interesting dump yesterday from the White House.
00:00:09.680 Hunter Biden has been pardoned by his old man on gun charges and also tax evasion charges.
00:00:16.560 But, you know, this really isn't about Hunter, is it?
00:00:19.540 Because this also covers any investigations of Hunter back to 2014.
00:00:25.020 Probably around the time Joe started getting money from his son that was funneled through Ukraine and China.
00:00:30.540 He was the big guy, after all. The 10% going to the big guy is the big part of this story.
00:00:36.840 And if you're not aware of this, you're probably a leftist.
00:00:39.140 But this was all revealed in the Hunter Biden laptop story that was suppressed prior to the last election.
00:00:45.080 Also interesting about this is the fact that Biden himself said, talking about Joe here,
00:00:49.640 that no one's above the law, but obviously when it comes to his son and to Joe himself,
00:00:53.940 they are above the law. Even some leftists are pissed off about this one.
00:00:58.620 Where is Justin Trudeau?
00:01:00.300 Pierre Polyev out on the weekend making another issue, a big issue here in Canada.
00:01:05.340 Although Donald Trump has a little bit to do with this one.
00:01:08.060 I've mentioned a number of times here on this channel that Polyev is the one making an issue of
00:01:12.520 the car theft situation in Canada.
00:01:16.720 Also the housing issue here in Canada.
00:01:18.620 And now he's making a real big issue of the border issue.
00:01:22.100 Now Trump kind of turned up the heat on Trudeau and his government when he said he'd put a 25%
00:01:27.820 tariff on Canada if we don't do something about the border.
00:01:30.620 Now Polyev is out there talking about this a lot.
00:01:33.280 He wants the border shut down.
00:01:34.920 We need to have a plan because it won't be very long before the new government in the United States
00:01:39.640 is in and that 25% tariff is looming.
00:01:42.140 But so far, not a hell of a lot from Justin Trudeau other than going down to Mar-a-Lago
00:01:47.620 to talk to Trump about the Canada-U.S. situation.
00:01:51.540 You might want to read an article this morning, kind of a harbinger of things to come.
00:01:56.620 They talked to a guy who has been working with the Canada Border Services Agency for a long time.
00:02:00.980 The article in the National Post is called,
00:02:02.740 Now that title of that story is wrong.
00:02:11.440 This is not a Trump-induced border crisis.
00:02:13.940 This is a border crisis caused by Justin Trudeau.
00:02:17.160 He's been allowing people to cross the border for years now.
00:02:20.400 He's done absolutely nothing about it.
00:02:22.020 And he won't take any blame for this.
00:02:24.680 He blames it all on bad actors, as he said a few weeks ago in an interview.
00:02:30.300 Also, did you know there's a postal strike going on?
00:02:33.340 Most people don't.
00:02:34.580 And a plastics treaty has failed.
00:02:37.440 Apparently they're meeting in South Korea, I believe,
00:02:40.840 to come up with a treaty on how to get rid of plastics
00:02:43.740 and maybe come to an agreement on banning,
00:02:48.080 or at least having more regulations on making plastics,
00:02:50.940 which will drive the prices of everything up.
00:02:53.000 Now I've got lots to say when it comes to plastics.
00:02:55.660 First off, the West, meaning North America and whatnot,
00:02:58.580 we're not really responsible for a lot of plastic pollution.
00:03:01.760 The two places that are, Africa and Asia,
00:03:04.160 there's lots of videos online of trucks pulling up at rivers,
00:03:07.640 dumping tons and tons of garbage into the rivers,
00:03:10.480 which end up in the sea, which end up becoming plastic pollution.
00:03:13.160 So it's not the West problem.
00:03:14.940 As far as plastic goes,
00:03:16.120 I think recycling is an absolute freaking joke.
00:03:18.620 I put recycling out every week,
00:03:20.560 but I don't see it as recycling.
00:03:21.780 I don't care if we recycle it.
00:03:23.080 I just see it as another way to get more of my junk out of my house.
00:03:26.980 Just another garbage day, as far as I'm concerned.
00:03:29.440 We either should bury the stuff,
00:03:30.680 and if we need plastic in the future,
00:03:32.100 we know where it is.
00:03:32.920 It's in the ground.
00:03:33.500 We can dig it up.
00:03:34.380 We don't have to mine all over the world
00:03:35.920 and pull all sorts of resources out of the ground
00:03:37.960 to get plastic to make it.
00:03:39.660 It's right there in the dumps.
00:03:40.800 We know where it is,
00:03:41.500 or we should be burning it for energy.
00:03:43.820 They do this over in Europe.
00:03:45.000 Other places have these furnaces,
00:03:47.420 plasma furnaces that burn their garbage,
00:03:49.260 and they can make energy out of it,
00:03:50.780 and perhaps we can lower our energy prices.
00:03:52.780 So this is what I think about plastics.
00:03:54.680 Now, Stephen Gilboa, our environment minister,
00:03:57.040 he's all into plastic bans
00:03:58.940 and more regulations on plastics.
00:04:01.120 He tried to do a plastic freeze here in Canada.
00:04:03.740 Can't do it through the Supreme Court,
00:04:05.220 but this pisses me off to no end.
00:04:07.040 I'm glad the plastic treaty has failed,
00:04:08.920 but he says they're going to be back at it again
00:04:10.920 just around the time of the G7 next year.
00:04:13.380 Probably while the liberals are still in,
00:04:15.200 they'll get this thing passed,
00:04:16.400 and we'll see the prices of everything go up
00:04:18.260 because everything you own has got plastic in it.
00:04:20.960 Your phone, your tablets,
00:04:22.400 the camera I'm using right now,
00:04:24.000 everything needs plastics.
00:04:25.640 Thanks for watching.
