00:00:53.940 ominous day in Canadian history tomorrow. And we're talking about major projects here. Mark Carney
00:00:59.520 will celebrate his 500th day as Prime Minister tomorrow. Did you know that? It's hard to believe.
00:01:05.400 It seems like just yesterday he was elected. 500 days ago, Mark Carney was elected on April 28th
00:01:11.540 of 2025. What has he accomplished when it comes to major projects, since we're talking about them?
00:01:17.620 He said he would build things at speeds we've never seen before, or words to that effect.
00:01:21.600 but has he really built anything at all? How soon will things get built if they are okayed
00:01:27.180 in this country? Let's talk about the three projects. We're going to start off with this
00:01:30.180 one here, which I read about a couple of days ago. This is from Brian Lilly, Toronto Sun,
00:01:34.600 Mark Carney's liberals back away from Billy Bishop, airport expansion, putting politics
00:01:38.520 ahead of growth. And this is one of the stories that show how the liberals and Mark Carney
00:01:43.320 treat people based on their color. All right. So let's just read a bit of this story. Not much.
00:01:48.900 Mark Carney's Liberal government launched Operation Coward on Friday night, quietly
00:01:53.360 undercutting the expansion of Toronto's Billy Bishop Airport. A carefully timed leak to the
00:01:58.840 Liberal-friendly Toronto Star published around 8 o'clock Friday featured comments from Minister
00:02:03.460 Steve McKinnon that stopped short of explicitly cancelling the project. Of course, this was
00:02:08.080 released on Friday. Release it on Friday and it kind of gets caught up in the black hole of the
00:02:13.360 weekend and people forget it for the most part by Monday morning. A little bit more of this story.
00:02:18.080 The entire letter was meant to appease the people who have been campaigning against the airport's expansion for decades, many of whom would like to see it closed.

00:02:30.560 So much for Carney's call for Canadians to think big, act bigger, and move at speeds not seen in generations.
00:02:37.220 Like so many promised major projects, the reality under Carney is that we're thinking small, acting smaller, and moving at the pace of Ottawa bureaucrats and NIMBYs.

00:02:48.080 I do think that the government, particularly this liberal government, doesn't think more
00:02:52.760 like a NIMBY, but more like a banana, and banana means build absolutely nothing anywhere

00:03:01.780 Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced the expansion with great fanfare in March, even including

00:03:08.100 And here's the paragraph where we talk about the Liberals picking and choosing based on

00:03:16.160 Ford also believed he had Carney's support after the Prime Minister privately encouraged the expansion.
00:03:22.020 That support appears to have evaporated as Carney and his 24 Liberal MPs in the Greater Toronto area
00:03:28.480 became the target of a public relations campaign by airport opponents.
00:03:33.440 So a lot of red people, meaning Liberals in Toronto, don't like the expansion.
00:03:38.060 So Mark Carney and his government, for the most part, have given this project a thumbs down based on the colour red.
00:03:45.480 Liberal Red. Now let's go to some people you you could consider blue. These people are not happy
00:03:52.280 with another project that's coming up but are the Liberals listening to them? Not a chance.

00:04:03.320 ahead. My farm is on the the map that maybe I may be kicked out of my lands. That's why she's here

00:04:17.960 Farmers took their protest to Parliament Hill today intent on derailing the Aalto
00:04:22.280 high-speed train project. We have nothing to gain from it. It's going to stop in Ottawa,
00:04:27.000 it's going to stop in Montreal and it's going to screw everybody else up on the way to those places.
00:04:33.160 Now the uncertainty has turned into activism. On both sides of the Quebec-Ontario border,
00:04:38.760 Residents have formed local opposition groups, organized public meetings, and staged protests.
00:04:45.000 These people, and this is a growing movement, are being ignored by the Liberal government,
00:04:49.800 treated like second-class protesters because they're not the right color. The Liberals are
00:04:55.320 bound and determined to push this train through all the way out to Quebec City at a cost of $90
00:05:01.720 billion dollars, mostly your money, because it will benefit a privileged few to save them a
00:05:07.920 couple of hours on travel. What color are the people that you saw in that video I just showed
00:05:13.400 you? Well, these people are mostly blue. Of course, the high-speed rail will start here in the greater
00:05:18.800 Toronto area with its aforementioned 24 Liberal MPs and move eastbound through Central Ontario
00:05:25.260 out to Eastern Ontario through all these blue ridings. Blue meaning conservative, which is why
00:05:30.660 the protesters are being ignored. They're second-class citizens. They don't vote the right 0.99
00:05:36.220 way. What else is fascinating about this map? I just caught this. This area right here,
00:05:44.040 a liberal riding. Note the shape of this riding. And if we go to this story, which just broke the
00:05:50.580 other day, Kingston probably getting high-speed rail stops, says Alto CEO. If you happen to look
00:05:56.840 at Kingston on the Google map. There it is right there. Look at that shape. It's the same one
00:06:01.660 that's on this map over here. So what the Liberals are doing with your $90 billion is
00:06:07.500 their hop, skipping and jumping their train, which is going to benefit very few to save a couple of
00:06:13.160 hours of travel. Their hop, skipping and jumping it through Liberal ridings in Ontario. Isn't that
00:06:18.740 nice? Something else that's fascinating is that there's another color that comes to mind in this
00:06:25.100 one. It would be the color green. That's the color of money. A lot of liberal politicians and their
00:06:30.320 families will benefit from this, no doubt, as will liberal politicians. There's this story here that
00:06:36.360 popped up just last month. No train yet, but Alto Rail Project execs still got $2.8 million in
00:06:43.900 bonuses late last year from Ottawa before they even start their work. It's only money. Now let's
00:06:50.860 move on to our final project. And for that, we're going to start with this map right here. Talk about
00:06:56.200 being the wrong color. I'm not going to go on about this for very long. I don't want to beat a dead 1.00
00:07:01.440 horse. I've talked this to death. But let me ask you a question. If the map of Alberta right here
00:07:07.140 that you're seeing that is all blue for the most part, because we vote conservative here, if it was
00:07:12.280 red, don't you think we would have approval on a pipeline right now and wouldn't have to jump
00:07:17.720 through all these hoops to get one built. I think that's true. I think it's very sad that
00:07:22.600 an airport expansion in Toronto basically is going to get cancelled because Liberal MPs are feeling
00:07:29.600 the heat. 24 Liberal MPs in the Toronto area are feeling the heat from a few protesters,
00:07:35.240 the correct type of protester. Meanwhile, the Liberals are pushing through a $90 billion project
00:07:39.880 that many people in Ontario don't want, but because they vote a different way and they vote blue,
