John Bolton - Mr. Poilievre... here's my list of demands... please.

00:00:00.000 Hi there, it's John and welcome to the channel. It is the 1st of January, 2025. Happy New Year

00:00:07.080 to you. It is 4.57 a.m. The big blue mug of coffee, my first cup of coffee for the new year.

00:00:15.080 And I'm going to give you a wish list of things I'd like to see happen over the next 12 months

00:00:22.100 here in Canada. And I would like to hear your thoughts. I put this list together, top 10 in

00:00:26.860 no particular order, very fast this morning. And I'm sure I missed some things. So let me know in

00:00:31.240 the comments what you think. And maybe I'll do a follow-up on this later this week if I get enough

00:00:36.960 suggestions. I originally thought about talking about the important politicians for Canada over

00:00:42.880 the last 12 months. I thought of three. Trudeau, okay. He's had a precipitous fall from grace over

00:00:49.160 the last 12 months. And what he does over the next little while will have a huge effect on Canada,

00:00:54.080 certainly. Pierre Polyev has been unbelievable. I don't think there's been a conservative politician

00:00:59.600 like him. Why are the conservatives doing so well in the polls? Why are they likely to win a huge

00:01:04.740 majority? Because Polyev has been outworking everybody. I don't think that's said enough.

00:01:10.240 He has simply been outworking the liberals and everybody else in government. And you have to hand

00:01:15.420 it to the Conservative Party itself, all the MPs. They have been on message. And the other person that's

00:01:20.900 been very important to Canada and will over the next several years is Donald Trump. He was only

00:01:25.820 re-elected in November. He's not even president. But he's having a huge effect on Canada right now.

00:01:31.800 And I think a golden age is coming for Canada and the United States. I think Trump and Polyev can do 1.00

00:01:36.900 big things for our two countries. Good things are about to happen. But what would I put on my wish list

00:01:42.540 for Canada? Okay, no particular order. Number one, as you know, lots of videos online about this. The

00:01:51.620 liberals at 16% in the polling. I want Polyev to make a statement and tell the liberals and the

00:01:58.800 Canadian people the liberals have no mandate to do anything in this country right now. And I'm talking 0.68

00:02:04.640 specifically about spending. I've said a couple of times on this channel, the liberals can spend a lot

00:02:11.160 of your money before they're finally out of office. And I want Polyev to say they have no mandate

00:02:15.880 to bribe people with their own money. And I'm thinking of things like loan forgiveness for

00:02:22.660 students. I think they would possibly try to throw that out to try to get students to vote for them.

00:02:26.980 No taxpayer-funded freebies for anyone. I want Polyev to say they have no mandate. If you're at 16%,

00:02:33.220 stop spending Canadians' money. Number two, a moratorium on all immigration. Not a slowing down, 0.95

00:02:41.140 like the liberals are doing. Not a cutting back, but an absolute trickle of immigration to this

00:02:46.740 country. It is a huge problem for us right now. We've brought too many people in over the last 1.00

00:02:51.020 several years, and we need to get things down to virtually nothing. If people are here illegally, 1.00

00:02:57.120 you give them plane tickets. If they are overstaying their welcome, you put them in jail. Only clear

00:03:04.140 cases that are legitimate right now, but right down to a trickle when it comes to immigration.

00:03:08.720 Number three, the end of all thoughts of net zero. No more pandering to the climate cult. This should

00:03:16.240 be an easy one to do with the guy in the White House right now. No net zero. Number four, allow

00:03:23.080 people to choose the car they want to drive. This kind of falls in line with number three, but the plan

00:03:28.860 to phase out gas-powered vehicles by 2035 has got to end. Let the market decide. The current government

00:03:36.240 says by 2035 there will be no gas-powered vehicles sold in this country. That's only 10 years away.

00:03:42.280 It's a pipe dream. It's not going to happen. Number five, a commitment from Polyev to end the

00:03:48.060 experimentation on all confused children. Drugs and surgeries for little kids must stop. Other

00:03:53.900 Western countries have already done this. We have not done this here in Canada. It has to be a

00:03:59.160 commitment from Polyev, and I think that needs to be done sooner before later. Number six, he has been

00:04:06.340 saying to fund the CBC. I'll believe it when I see it, but it gets the biggest cheers when he says

00:04:12.480 it at his rallies. I was at one here in Calgary at Spruce Meadows. Get it done. Get it done early in

00:04:18.860 your mandate. That way the pain will happen early, and a lot of it will be forgotten before the next

00:04:23.940 election. Create a doge. That is number seven on my list. A Department of Government Efficiency. I've

00:04:30.360 talked about this in previous videos. I think Kevin O'Leary would be a person to lead up Canada's

00:04:36.760 doge. Start saving money immediately by cutting the federal payroll. We've heard so much about how

00:04:43.100 the government has grown by 40% since Trudeau. It can be cut by up to 40%. Do it early. Hand the pink 0.88

00:04:50.720 slips out early. Again, like I said when it came to the CBC. Do it early in your mandate. Make the pain

00:04:57.260 happen early before we get to another election. Number eight, demand merit-based hiring in government

00:05:04.160 and demand all companies doing business with the government do the same. It's the best person for

00:05:10.780 the job. I don't care what you look like, how you sound. If you're the best for the job, you get it.

00:05:15.740 No job hiring in government based on DEI. Hiring people based on skin color, gender, sexual orientation, 0.67

00:05:25.780 or immutable characteristics. That is not equity. That is bigotry, and that is racism, and that's

00:05:31.580 what's been happening in our government. Number nine, a commitment by the government to Canada's

00:05:37.420 history. Sure, we have our warts here in this country, but there's a reason why people come to

00:05:43.940 Canada in great numbers. It's because we are better, because we are good, because our culture

00:05:49.760 is better. No more pandering to Marxists who want to erase our history to try to tear our country

00:05:56.260 apart. And number 10, I would love to see, and this is a tough one, a change to the Charter of Rights

00:06:02.580 and Freedoms. Eliminate Section 1. It's also known as the Limitations Clause. That allows the government

00:06:09.460 to suspend your rights whenever it pleases. Think of the convoy in Ottawa a few years ago.

00:06:17.020 This will ensure freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of belief, freedom of expression.

00:06:24.200 Your rights are absolute. They cannot be written off in a number of bills starting with C. And I'm

00:06:30.200 talking about C11 and C12 and C36. The government is trying to get rid of your rights. They are absolute.

00:06:36.720 So that's my wish list. I think I went through all 10. What do you think? I'd like to hear your

00:06:41.760 thoughts on this. If you've got any more you'd like to see happen as we see a new government and

00:06:46.140 a new year before us, let me know about it. I appreciate you watching. See you in the next one.
