Transcript

00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. It is Friday, March the 7th, 4.17 a.m. with the big blue mug of coffee.
00:00:10.520 And my fellow Albertans and those of you who call yourself Canadians.
00:00:17.160 As you know, there is an imminent threat in our country.
00:00:21.460 Danger is on the horizon.
00:00:25.320 It's there daily.
00:00:26.580 And the threat is coming to a head very soon.
00:00:35.260 This is a threat so large that it could tear apart the very fabric of your country, Canada.
00:00:44.140 And it could doom my province of Alberta, the place I call home.
00:00:49.640 And I think you're fully aware of this threat.
00:00:52.540 And the threat is the man you're seeing on the screen right now.
00:00:56.580 I'll bet you were thinking of somebody else, weren't you?
00:01:04.360 I'll bet you were thinking of the guy you see on the screen right here, Donald Trump.
00:01:09.180 Now look at this card.
00:01:11.260 This video is still up on my channel.
00:01:12.900 And I believe that.
00:01:17.220 Trump is Canada's greatest economic ally.
00:01:19.580 I still believe it.
00:01:20.320 I know he is just torturing the hell out of us right now and it doesn't make a lot of sense.
00:01:25.060 But because of Donald Trump and his threats of tariffs, I really thought this country was waking up.
00:01:30.040 And if you pay attention, you were thinking the same thing.
00:01:35.060 I think the premier of my province all of a sudden saw a ray of light on the horizon.
00:01:41.180 Finally, Canada is starting to see the benefits of Alberta and our natural resources.
00:01:46.740 In particular, natural gas and oil.
00:01:48.860 But Mark Carney does not think that way.
00:01:56.080 I call him the Lion King.
00:02:00.240 I think that's what we should call him.
00:02:02.540 Pure Polyev, feel free.
00:02:04.280 I was going to do a different video this morning.
00:02:10.240 But I saw this tweet from CBC Watcher.
00:02:14.720 And credit to CBC Watcher for this whole video.
00:02:18.140 Because it's because of CBC Watcher I'm doing it.
00:02:21.440 Carney is still having a hard time being clear when asked about pipelines.
00:02:25.800 And that is absolutely true.
00:02:27.160 He's got a quote from Carney in here.
00:02:29.700 But I've got the video that is attached below this tweet.
00:02:32.960 Let's take a look at it now.
00:02:34.460 Here in Alberta and Saskatchewan, we have a special heart for a pipeline to move oil and gas,
00:02:39.540 particularly oil, across the country to refineries in eastern Canada.
00:02:43.000 If you were Prime Minister, would you support that?
00:02:44.980 I think there are a number of projects that are in the national interest.
00:02:50.260 And they include energy projects that ensure as much as possible Canadian energy is used here at home.
00:02:58.320 That it displaces, in the example that you just gave,
00:03:00.680 it displaces imports from the United States, from other countries.
00:03:05.100 So in terms of moving projects like that forward,
00:03:08.800 my government will look to do everything the federal government can do in order for them to move forward.
00:03:15.120 We're a federation.
00:03:16.640 There are other levels of government that need to come along.
00:03:18.880 But again, this is an opportunity.
00:03:20.760 It's an opportunity for Alberta.
00:03:22.060 It's an opportunity for Canada to move forward.
00:03:24.680 So he's being vague there.
00:03:26.320 He's not really answering the question.
00:03:28.860 You may not be a reporter.
00:03:30.600 I have been a reporter.
00:03:32.220 I did a lot of interviews over the years.
00:03:34.680 What would your next question be of Mr. Carney,
00:03:36.900 as he turned away at the end to try to avoid additional questions?
00:03:40.380 The next question is,
00:03:41.340 Look at this tweet again from CBC Watcher.
00:03:49.400 And by the way,
00:03:50.280 I've got another tweet from CBC Watcher coming up again.
00:03:53.940 And this one's got Chugmeet Singh.
00:03:55.800 And this one really pushed me over the edge this morning.
00:03:58.140 Because Carney thinks exactly what Chugmeet Singh is going to say in this next clip I show you.
00:04:02.720 But CBC Watcher says no mention of pipelines,
00:04:06.040 no mention of displacing coal abroad with Ethical Canadian LNG.
00:04:09.700 He's still the climate zealot he's always been.
00:04:13.600 I've said it before in this channel.
00:04:15.820 The best way to judge future behavior is past behavior.
00:04:20.740 Mr. Carney is a climate zealot.
00:04:22.800 Not only is he a climate zealot, folks,
00:04:25.520 he is one of the biggest climate zealots in the world.
00:04:29.020 You may think Al Gore is a climate zealot.
00:04:30.840 Not even close.
00:04:32.720 This man, Mark Carney,
00:04:34.580 is one of the leaders of the net zero movement.
00:04:39.340 And that's who he is.
00:04:41.540 That's why he won't answer questions on pipelines.
00:04:45.380 Society decides in the UK, in Canada, many other places.
00:04:48.700 But in the UK and Canada,
00:04:49.600 it's the law of the land to get to net zero by 2050.
00:04:53.340 So the question that's asked is,
00:04:55.920 well, what if we actually do that?
00:04:57.980 What if companies change their energy mix?
00:05:00.600 They get their emissions down.
00:05:01.600 What's your exposure?
00:05:03.200 Where are your problems on your balance sheet?
00:05:05.180 Where are your assets on your balance sheet?
00:05:06.940 How does that move?
00:05:07.820 Have you thought it through?
00:05:09.060 And that's a critical aspect that just helps to support the smoothing of that transition,
00:05:15.120 whatever society actually implemented.
00:05:16.700 Because in the end, look, we can't stabilize the climate unless we get to net zero.
00:05:20.960 And it's a simple, these are hard numbers.
00:05:23.400 Your emissions are either A or B.
00:05:25.400 They're going up or down.
00:05:26.760 And if they're going down, are they going down consistent with the science?
00:05:30.240 We anchor it in the science, the same science the UN and others use for the one-and-half-degree objective.
00:05:34.940 The UK has been at the forefront of innovation for centuries, brimming with ingenuity and a can-do spirit.
00:05:41.040 It also houses the world's largest financial system.
00:05:44.700 And by bringing them together, we can deliver the net zero world that you've demanded and that our future generations deserve.
00:05:53.160 Society is putting tremendous value on achieving net zero.
00:05:58.000 So the companies and those who invest in them and lend to them who are part of the solution will be rewarded.
00:06:04.360 But those who are lagging behind and are still part of the problem will be punished, will be punished, will be punished.
00:06:12.260 Mark Carney is Mr. Net Zero.
00:06:15.620 If you've watched any of his get-togethers, they show video of him doing little talks during his leadership campaign.
00:06:22.240 Most of the people there are gray-haired.
00:06:24.480 A lot of them have voted liberal their whole life.
00:06:27.020 Too ignorant to know how dangerous this man is.
00:06:30.140 He's Mr. Net Zero by 2050.
00:06:32.000 A lot of those gray hairs won't even live that long.
00:06:34.020 I'll be 85 years old.
00:06:36.560 I probably won't live that long.
00:06:39.080 Now you're probably saying, John, I already knew this.
00:06:41.140 Yeah, because you're informed.
00:06:42.180 The people who are going to see Mark Carney and will vote for this man have no idea.
00:06:45.740 And I'm hoping I can spread the message that this man is a threat to the country.
00:06:49.380 Those people standing around Carney seem to think he's the one that's going to save the country from Donald Trump.
00:06:54.380 But I believe he's the person that's going to tear the country apart.
00:06:58.540 Alberta's insignificant.
00:07:00.060 What do we have?
00:07:00.460 We have 338 seats in the country.
00:07:03.480 You need 174 majority.
00:07:05.080 And most of those seats you need are in Ontario and Quebec.
00:07:09.560 Quebec's really important.
00:07:11.020 That's why Carney, when he's asked about pipelines on the West Coast, he says he'll put one through.
00:07:17.820 But when he speaks in French in Quebec, he says he won't.
00:07:20.780 Because he's a liar.
00:07:21.560 He's the Lion King.
00:07:26.160 And the reason I'm doing this video as well this morning is because of this video I saw this morning of Jagmeet Singh.
00:07:31.700 Now the NDP are desperate right now.
00:07:33.400 Nikki Ashton did a great takedown of Mr. Carney the other day.
00:07:36.260 Mr. Paulyev should have taken notes.
00:07:38.640 It was the best thing I've seen.
00:07:39.700 If you haven't seen it, look it up.
00:07:40.780 But Jagmeet Singh in a video yesterday said this, and this is exactly what Mark Carney thinks as well.
00:07:47.820 That's why Alberta needs to get out of the country as soon as possible.
00:07:51.020 Together we're going to fight every single day with our strength, with our hearts, with everything we have to defend your values, to defend Quebec values.
00:07:59.860 We're going to ensure not only will these values never be on the negotiation table, we're going to put in place a law that ensures that these values, the Quebec culture, the nation of Quebec's culture, the language, French language, and our national resources are not allowed to ever be on the negotiating table and supply management.
00:08:18.660 These are very important values that we hold dear.
00:08:21.020 These will never be on the negotiating table by law with the new Democrat government.
00:08:25.200 I want you to know you can count on us.
00:08:26.720 We're going to continue to fight for you.
00:08:28.760 You hear what Singh says there.
00:08:32.500 Would Carney do all of these things?
00:08:34.240 I don't know.
00:08:34.980 But listen to what he says here.
00:08:39.060 A law put in place that ensures the values of Quebec culture, the nation of Quebec's culture, the language, French language, and our natural resources.
00:08:51.020 I think that means that they will not allow pipelines to go through from Alberta.
00:08:58.800 I believe that's sort of hidden in the message here.
00:09:02.200 And then, of course, you've got to get supply management in there because we've got to protect Quebec when it comes to the dairy industry, which is a point of contention for Donald Trump.
00:09:09.820 The reason why your cheese and milk and everything in this country is so high is because of Quebec.
00:09:15.400 Because the government panders to Quebec.
00:09:17.300 Alberta means nothing.
00:09:18.520 37 seats here.
00:09:20.600 The whole province goes blue.
00:09:24.780 Conservative.
00:09:25.600 The NDP and Liberal don't care about us.
00:09:29.040 Quebec would starve to death if it wasn't for Alberta.
00:09:31.100 We're running a deficit in Alberta.
00:09:36.200 And we wouldn't be if we weren't shipping our money off to the east to keep them alive.
00:09:41.440 To keep Quebec alive.
00:09:43.720 And Quebec has the audacity to tell us we can't have a pipeline go through their province.
00:09:49.620 And that's what Mark Carney's going to do.
00:09:52.560 How important is Alberta to the rest of the country?
00:09:57.380 Very important.
00:09:58.040 We work hard here to support Canada.
00:10:04.060 Here's James Moore, former minister in Stephen Harper's government.
00:10:08.920 You know, Albertans on a per capita basis have given more to Confederation than any group of Canadians in this country by far.
00:10:14.800 And they've done it for a couple, two, three generations.
00:10:16.980 And they have a federal government right now whose time is ticking that has actively campaigned against their province, against their core industry.
00:10:24.600 That is one third of Canada's exports to the United States.
00:10:27.080 They've blocked pipelines.
00:10:28.580 They've put in place regulations that are designed to be poison pills to stop the export of Alberta oil to global markets so they can get world prices.
00:10:36.220 So that we can bring that money back to Canada and create Canadian jobs and pay Canadian taxes to build Canadian hospitals, schools and Canadian roads.
00:10:44.340 Albertans want to do their part for Canada.
00:10:46.020 And they have for a long time.
00:10:47.360 And so I think Daniel Smith and Albertans are prepared to do everything, including a maximalist approach, but a little bit of quid pro quo.
00:10:53.860 They'll do their part.
00:10:55.520 Canada should do its part for Alberta and the West as well.
00:10:57.800 Open ports of access to the world so they can sell their products to the rest of the world.
00:11:02.260 Fair is fair.
00:11:02.900 And Alberta just wants a fair deal.
00:11:04.160 And I think that's appropriate.
00:11:05.620 Alberta pulls its weight, way above its weight.
00:11:07.940 And people like Mark Carney are going to climate change us into oblivion.
00:11:12.180 They have no respect for us at all.
00:11:17.240 Do you like your health care?
00:11:19.760 Do you like the additional money you're getting for daycare that Trudeau announced yesterday?
00:11:24.040 Thank the Hav provinces like Alberta.
00:11:27.520 All we get is disrespect out here.
00:11:30.980 And people are starting to catch on.
00:11:32.820 Lots of talk about Alberta becoming the 51st state or leaving the country.
00:11:38.560 Danielle Smith has taken it on the chin the last couple of days.
00:11:41.120 And I think rightfully so for some of the things she's done.
00:11:44.000 But we need to give her credit.
00:11:45.220 She was on CBC.
00:11:46.580 And she said quite outright she does not trust the East with our money.
00:11:50.280 And I must tell you, there's no circumstances under which I would acquiesce to a major tariff being put on Alberta Energy to go to Ottawa so Ottawa could decide how it's distributed.
00:12:00.320 And quite frankly, the trust is gone with the federal government.
00:12:05.200 They've cancelled pipelines.
00:12:07.340 They've banned exports off the West Coast.
00:12:10.620 They have put in a net zero power reg.
00:12:13.120 They've talked about an emissions cap.
00:12:14.780 So if you think I'm going to believe that they'll take $40 billion out of our economy and just trust them that it's going to come back, I don't.
00:12:22.100 So, no, it's not on.
00:12:23.220 We're not going to agree to that.
00:12:24.880 Well done, Madam Premier.
00:12:26.300 You shouldn't trust the people out East with our money and you certainly shouldn't trust Mark Carney.
00:12:31.600 You need to start looking down the road and see what the game plan is if the liberals get into power once again.
00:12:37.140 Because there are a lot of people in this country who are thinking that this man is telling the truth and he's a liar.
00:12:42.600 And he lies by omission.
00:12:44.560 Or he just doesn't answer the questions.
00:12:46.820 And there's a problem with the people asking the questions as well in this country.
00:12:52.600 He's been dodging people who will challenge him for quite some time.
00:12:56.320 It'll be interesting to see what happens when Pierre Polyev gets to talk to him in a debate.
00:13:02.680 We need to elect a conservative government here.
00:13:05.020 A majority conservative government.
00:13:07.980 If only a minority gets in for the conservatives, right after the throne speech, there will be a vote of non-confidence.
00:13:15.820 And the liberals, NDP, Bloc Québécois, and Green Party will join up.
00:13:20.040 And we will be stuck with five more years of this anti-growth government that we've got right now.
00:13:26.340 And we'll be stuck with Mr. Net Zero, Mark Carney.
00:13:29.680 Thanks very much for watching.
00:13:31.620 I do appreciate it.
