00:00:31.040 situation. But there's something I've been thinking about for the last few days,

00:00:51.740 two Canadas right now, and I'm wondering if the chasm is too wide for us to get

00:00:55.780 together at this point. The hiking ban in Nova Scotia brought this into focus for

00:01:10.820 hiking ban was going to be on that list, but not at number one. You might think,

00:01:16.080 oh my god, it was probably the dumbest thing that happened last week, but not at

00:01:19.140 number one. The people who support that get that honor. There's a definite

00:01:24.060 demarcation line between the two Canadas when someone thinks banning someone from

00:01:28.140 walking in the woods is a reasonable response to wildfires. I think it's

00:01:33.300 similar to blaming the gun, not the shooter. As I said in a recent video, I

00:01:37.540 believe in education and not legislation. We need to thank Joe Eveli for

00:01:43.280 challenging this authoritarian dictate by Premier Tim Houston, and also thank him

00:01:48.540 for his service. But this was one of the things I thought was just ridiculous. I

00:01:53.440 can't understand why he would ban hiking in this situation, but the other side, the

00:01:58.520 other candidate does. Many have likened this to the COVID mandates, and I seem to

00:02:03.980 agree, some going as far as calling these climate lockdowns. I do have a

00:02:10.020 question. Would the people who agree in this hiking ban follow a climate

00:02:14.080 politician, if they propose limiting your movements, your travel, your eating

00:02:19.120 habits, and other things? In a country with two Canadas, I wouldn't be surprised

00:02:26.080 if a lot of people would be fine with that. Another indication of the two

00:02:31.120 Canadas is the definite divide between the sides in the conflict in Gaza. I think

00:02:36.800 everyone can agree we don't like nor do we want any war, but I remember who

00:02:40.920 attacked on October 7th. I believe Israel has a right to defend itself, I believe 0.50

00:02:45.200 Israel has a right to exist, and I believe Israel has a right to finish the job 1.00

00:02:49.700 and end the scourge of Hamas. In my Canada, this seems perfectly reasonable, but to 0.99

00:02:55.900 the other side, for some reason, they're supporting a terrorist organization. I just

00:03:00.360 don't get it. They march in the streets, they intimidate those who disagree, and

00:04:42.680 started, when I really started to notice how different I am as a conservative from the other side.

00:04:47.440 Now, I think there were probably people who agreed with all of these mandates, who were on both sides

00:04:52.540 when it comes to ideology, but the other candidate complied and did whatever they were told. My

00:04:59.620 candidate just didn't get it. Can we bring our sides together on this? I don't know, but we're going

00:05:12.840 years. I think that's ridiculous. They really aren't guilty of anything other than mischief,
