to you this morning, as I have pretty much every day of 2025. I do appreciate you being

here. And, you know, it's an interesting time. It is the final day of the year, so we can

look back on what's happened in the past year in its entirety, pretty much. And I thought

this would be a good opportunity to look back on the stellar year that Mark Carney has had

as the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada and as the Prime Minister for a good part

of it as well. So what we need to do is go back to about middle January last year and

Mark Carney decided that he was going to enter the race for the Liberal leadership. And at

this point, you'll remember that there was a threat of tariffs from Donald Trump in the

United States of America. In February, the tariffs were delayed until March. And then in

March, the tariffs were put in place and Mark Carney was named leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.

He's now the Prime Minister of the country, and he's got an opportunity to make a trade deal with

Donald Trump when it comes to tariffs. April 28th, many of you will remember the day, Mark Carney and

the Liberals win the election. And Carney won partly because he was named the person who was most likely
