00:02:25.980 by Liberal MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith argues that allowing high school students to vote would
00:02:30.680 strengthen civic engagement. Quote, extending the voting age to 16 would empower a new generation to

00:03:20.560 Nigel Farage weighed in on the situation over in England. He said giving 16 and 17 year olds the right
00:03:26.160 to vote is an attempt to rig the political system. If this goes ahead, Labor could be in for a shock.
00:03:30.380 Suggesting that all 16 and 17 year olds will vote liberal is a stretch, but they are taught things
00:03:36.420 in school that give them that worldview. Again, go back to this here, where habits of civic engagement

00:03:47.760 this quote right here. Give me four years to teach the children and the seeds I have sown will never be
00:03:54.040 uprooted. Vladimir Lenin. They're teaching kids in school the leftist mindset, the leftist worldview.
00:04:02.380 And they're hoping the 16 and 17 year olds have been indoctrinated, give me four years, enough that
00:04:07.400 they will vote left wing and the conservatives may never get elected again. This is what they're hoping
00:04:12.960 happens. And we've mentioned here before that the East determines the political situation in Canada.

00:04:54.760 teaching kids in school. It's inappropriate for teachers to talk to children about this kind of

00:05:17.480 there was a story just last year where they went on a field trip to a protest against a certain group

00:05:29.200 17 year olds shouldn't be determining things like your income tax, our environmental policy, whether
00:05:34.060 we should be going to 100% electric cars in the next 10 years. I wouldn't let a 16 or 17 year old

00:06:27.440 think there is a solution to this problem. I think it can be solved for this election. There's still time.

00:07:06.880 smaller. People having to count these votes or even fitting the ballot into the ballot box. It's

00:07:29.520 Canada website. It's there. Who knew? Okay. So remember the election itself is on August the 18th.
00:07:37.400 They've got advanced ballots coming up on the 8th of August. Okay. Keep that in mind. So here it is

00:07:50.460 before the election would be around July the 28th. Now I might be a day or two off, but we've got more
00:07:56.800 than three weeks left until the election because it's only the 21st of July election on the 18th of
00:08:03.280 August. So three weeks before the election, the ballot paper is sent to printers across the country
00:08:08.200 to be made in ballots for each electoral district. Two weeks before the election, the printers deliver
00:08:15.000 the ballots needed for the advanced polls to the RO. So that's two weeks before the election,
00:08:19.180 August the 18th. One week before the election, the printers give the rest of the ballots to the
00:08:23.540 returning officers. On election day, the election officers bring the ballots in ballot boxes to
00:08:28.160 their polling stations. So this is what we know about this election. And this is what we know is
00:08:33.640 happening to these ballots. So let's say July the 28th, that's when they're going to print the ballots.
00:08:40.220 How do we solve this problem and eliminate almost all of the people from this list? What we do in
00:08:46.080 Elections Canada, I don't know they can do it, but I think this would be smart, is you say that two days
00:08:52.800 prior to the ballots being printed, which would be July the 26th, only five days away from now,
00:09:00.580 all the candidates that intend to have their name on the ballot have to show up in person to sign a
00:09:05.780 document to ensure their name is on the ballot. Almost all of the people are eliminated from the
00:09:13.520 ballot. This is a joke. We know it's a joke. How many of these people are going to fly across the
00:09:18.840 country or around the world, I don't know where all these people are from, to go to the riding of
00:09:24.420 Battle River Crowfoot to sign this document to ensure their name is on the ballot? Virtually
00:09:28.500 none of them would, other than the legitimate candidates. Is this legal? Don't know. Pierre

00:09:40.560 he'd be here. The Liberal candidate would be here. The Independents would be here. They'd all show up and

00:09:49.040 Can this be done in time? Probably not, but this is a solution to this one. That's just my thoughts
