00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel 707 a.m. Tuesday, July the 8th with the Big Blue
00:00:10.140 Mug of Coffee. Hope you're having a great day today. I was up early this morning, about
00:00:14.740 4, 4.30. I've got the plants getting watered out back right now. Hot day expected. Want
00:00:20.000 to make sure the plants don't get withered away by the 32 degree heat here in Calgary.
00:00:23.940 Hope you're getting good weather no matter where you are today. And today I want to call
00:00:29.180 the video, kind of the madness of Canada or something like that, with a subtitle, How
00:00:33.520 Good Ideas Get Buried, How Bad Ideas Are Magnified, and How the Idiots Are Running the Asylum
00:00:38.860 and People Are Voting for Them. Okay, so a long title. I might not use it all in the thumbnail
00:00:44.760 for this video, but you get the idea. By the way, if you are subscribed here, thank you
00:00:49.080 so much. I appreciate you very much. If you haven't subscribed, just click on subscribed.
00:00:53.940 Thanks again. So over the last day or so, I've seen a bunch of stories pop up that I just
00:00:58.560 think are the epitome of how stupid Canada can be. Okay. One of the stories I've been
00:01:03.880 following for about a week, but the reason I'm bringing it up today is because of this
00:01:08.360 right here from Dr. Brian Goldman, who uses he, him pronouns. And you can get the general
00:01:14.760 idea of what he's tweeting out here. There's no place for politicians in the medical exam
00:01:19.520 rooms of the nation from the clear-eyed former CMA Docs President, Dr. Catherine Smart.
00:01:24.460 And this is about tea people. All right. And the reason I'm bringing this up today is because
00:01:29.440 of this article right here out of Alberta. Alberta judge relies on myth that gender drugs
00:01:33.500 are life-saving. An Alberta judge has temporarily blocked the province's ban on puberty blockers
00:01:39.740 and cross-sex hormones for minors, ruling that denying tea-identified youth these interventions
00:01:44.960 would cause irreparable harm. This Alberta judge is misinformed. This is misinformation.
00:01:49.840 The province is challenging this in court. Premier Daniel Smith said, the court had said that they
00:01:55.580 think that there will be irreparable harm if the law goes ahead. I feel the reverse. Premier Smith is
00:02:00.440 correct. A majority of Albertans agree with the premier. This is experimentation on little kids.
00:02:06.320 I don't remember this kind of stuff happening when I was a young person. This is a social contagion
00:02:12.220 that's going on here, folks. This will continue in Alberta until this gets through the courts,
00:02:16.460 which will be a couple of more years, and it will cause irreparable harm to young children. But the
00:02:21.040 left loves this because they hate Premier Smith and they hate the right more than they like children.
00:02:28.720 Meanwhile, in Canada, why is Canada falling behind the science in treating gender-distressed youth?
00:02:34.020 This is an article from January, and in the article it goes on to say that Canada remains a laggard.
00:02:40.100 Where other countries are backing off on this stuff, Canada continues down this road.
00:02:44.720 Meanwhile, in Alberta, we've got this person running against Pierre Polyev in Battle River Crowfoot,
00:02:50.240 a by-election coming up. The left has latched on to this person here,
00:02:54.940 Bonnie Critchley, an independent, because they think emotionally and not logically they hate Pierre Polyev
00:03:01.100 for some reason. They hate conservatives. But what's Bonnie Critchley about? From the article,
00:03:08.320 down here at the bottom, Critchley, who's openly queer, says she objects to right-wing points of view
00:03:14.400 on tea issues. She said that a recent Alberta court injunction stalling the province's ban on
00:03:19.480 tea gender medicine for minors was good news. The previous supports for tea youth were in place
00:03:26.300 to prevent youth offing themselves. Misinformed person spreading misinformation. Vile human being.
00:03:35.260 But again, this is who the left is supporting. Meanwhile, we've got Polyev popping up in Calgary for
00:03:40.680 the Stampede. Big, huge issue. Huge issue that hardly got mentioned during the election campaign.
00:03:46.160 The left again supporting the Kearney government because they hate Pierre Polyev. Thinking emotionally
00:03:51.740 rather than logically, here's Pierre Polyev from downtown. Hello everyone from Calgary, Alberta,
00:03:57.340 where it's Stampede time and I'm reconnecting with a lot of old friends in my hometown.
00:04:01.900 A lot of people who still drive gas-powered cars. Something the Liberal government wants to ban.
00:04:08.160 I just finished a tour of many amazing Alberta communities from Drumheller, Hannah, Denalda,
00:04:15.240 Killam, Statler and many more where distances are long and weather is often very cold, which means
00:04:22.120 that an electric car is simply not practical. You need a truck, obviously, to do a lot of the work
00:04:29.940 that farmers and oil and gas workers do. And that work is essential to the existence of our country.
00:04:37.320 We need that work to go on. But Mark Carney and the Liberals plan to ban that work effectively by
00:04:43.360 banning your gas and diesel-powered vehicle. So, next year, they say that 20% of all the vehicles
00:04:52.100 on the lot at the dealership have to be electric, rising to 100% by 2035, less than a decade from now.
00:04:58.860 This is going to be a massive cost increase and a massive convenience decrease. It is going to be
00:05:04.360 a major hit to the quality of life of our people. It will shut down many of our automotive jobs in
00:05:09.800 central Canada. It is another Liberal disaster. And that is why Conservatives are leading the charge
00:05:15.000 to fight against the Liberal ban on your gas-powered vehicle. We want you to have total freedom of
00:05:23.660 choice, lower prices. We want to put you back in the driver's seat. If you agree, sign on the dotted
00:05:29.720 line and join the cause. And let me just add, if Alberta separates, if Alberta becomes an
00:05:35.180 independent country, this will not be happening here, just to let you know. Now, let me just ask
00:05:39.340 you this. You ever been to a Costco, to a gas station at Costco? We have one here. It's one of the
00:05:44.520 busiest Costcos in the country, if not the busiest. It's called Deerfoot Meadows. It's at Deerfoot
00:05:50.520 and Glenmore Trail. I also go to one in Okotoks, which is south of me here in Southeast Calgary,
00:05:54.740 that is incredibly busy. If you were to go there to fill up your car with gas, where you get
00:05:59.180 better gas prices, in the middle of a Saturday afternoon, at Deerfoot Meadows, they probably have
00:06:05.420 12 lanes with two pumps at each lane. So 24 pumps there. On a Saturday afternoon, there will be 10
00:06:11.140 to 15 cars lined up. And all of them at the same time. And if I'm at the back of that line,
00:06:18.460 it'd probably take me maybe 10 minutes to get my car filled up. Can you imagine if you were trying
00:06:23.880 to charge an electric vehicle? The fastest electric vehicles right now charge up in about 50 minutes
00:06:29.220 to 80%. You'd be sitting in line for 10 hours. Not to even mention that how the hell are we going to
00:06:37.060 get that many charging stations set up in this country in less than 10 years? They obviously don't
00:06:43.560 want you driving cars. Now the Liberals are saying they're going to subsidize electric vehicles again.
00:06:49.260 How do you feel about giving your tax dollars to have somebody rich buy an electric vehicle?
00:06:53.420 Because I can't afford an electric vehicle. And I don't want an electric vehicle.
00:06:59.540 Two Februaries ago, I did a video on this channel. You can go back and watch it. I hadn't been doing a
00:07:03.920 lot of videos. And I didn't do a lot of videos back then. It was February. It was minus 36 degrees
00:07:08.760 in the morning. There was a extreme cold warning across the whole province at that time. And there
00:07:16.640 was no green energy being created in this province at all. There was no wind and no solar. Zero.
00:07:23.460 How the hell are we going to do this? Biggest issue that was hardly discussed during the election
00:07:29.040 campaign. Now moving along, bit of a theme here. Great news when we fund our military. I think it's fine.
00:07:35.340 But there's a kicker to this story. David McGinty, he is the head of the military for Canada.
00:07:44.060 Here's an announcement in Trenton.
00:07:46.720 Today, we are officially breaking ground on an $850 million investment that will support new CC-330
00:07:56.760 Husky fleet aircraft. This is a major milestone for the strategic tanker
00:08:03.540 transport capability project. Okay, so Minister of Defense, but here's the kicker to the story right
00:08:10.860 here. You're not going to believe this. Today's groundbreaking is the start of the construction
00:08:15.180 on a new hangar, on resurfaced runways and taxiways, on an extended ramp, on a fuel depot,
00:08:25.480 and on a dedicated set of training facilities. And all facilities in this project will be net zero
00:08:33.520 ready or net zero carbon.
00:08:36.840 How the hell are we going to run our country on net zero? This is going to cost more money,
00:08:41.580 first off. Minister of Defense, David McGinty. But this is where we are, folks. And this is going to be
00:08:49.200 the Kearney government's plan moving forward on everything.
00:08:56.920 And let me introduce Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, Premier Daniel Smith here at the Stampede over the
00:09:02.900 weekend. Alberta, Ontario premiers want several oil pipelines built under the Kearney government
00:09:07.840 pipelines. Asked if Prime Minister Kearney is all talk and no action. Daniel Smith said there'll be a
00:09:14.240 moment when the rubber hits the road. Well, that rubber is going to hit the road very soon.
00:09:18.120 What does Mark Kearney want when it comes to oil and gas in this country?
00:09:21.540 Within the broader context of national interest, the interest is in, as mentioned in the press
00:09:27.140 release, decarbonized barrels. So working alongside forms of decarbonization for those barrels.
00:09:34.120 Decarbonized barrels of oil. This is where we are in this country, folks, Mr. Net Zero. Meanwhile,
00:09:39.400 here's Mark Kearney during the election campaign. This will strike a chord with you've probably seen
00:09:43.540 this story. We will not only increase CBC Radio Canada's funding by $150 million,
00:09:48.120 but we will also make this funding statutory, meaning that Parliament as a whole will need to
00:09:54.620 approve anything when it comes to the CBC. A little stall there on X. But that's what he's
00:10:03.340 talking about here. So he's going to entrench the CBC in law, and he's going to give them more money
00:10:08.080 as well. And you've probably seen this story. And we all knew this. At least we knew. Conservatives
00:10:14.580 knew this. The bias at the CBC. The liberal left seemed to think everybody else is biased,
00:10:21.080 not the CBC. The CBC can do no wrong, folks. CBC host resigned, saying he could not continue
00:10:27.280 at public broadcaster with integrity. The guy's name is Travis Donraj, speaking out against the
00:10:32.280 CBC, a hero. Expect Travis to be on YouTube very soon. And support Travis, because Travis wants to get
00:10:38.400 all opinions. Moving down here, he accused the public broadcaster of performative diversity
00:10:44.500 tokenism, a system designed to elevate certain voices and diminish others. Don Raj's lawyer,
00:10:50.920 Catherine Marshall, said Monday that the CBC didn't want him booking conservative voices on his show.
00:10:55.960 This is what you get when you fund the media. And this is happening in private media as well. And
00:11:02.360 shame on them. I worked in private media for 35 years. If you fund the media, the government,
00:11:08.620 you have no credibility. Let's take you back a couple of years. Pure Polly, I have it one of his
00:11:14.780 rallies.
00:11:18.360 He fund the CBC. He fund the CBC. He fund the CBC. He fund the CBC. He fund CBC. He fund CBC.
00:11:27.240 People didn't vote for pure Polly F and they're going to get the CBC rammed down their throat and
00:11:35.180 they're going to pay for it. Canada, how good ideas get buried, bad ideas are magnified,
00:11:40.240 and how the idiots are running the asylum and people are voting for them.
00:11:44.120 Thanks for watching this video. I do appreciate it. 719. Hope you have a great day today. If you
00:11:49.600 like the video, give it a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, ring the bell for notifications,
00:11:53.000 and I'll see you in the next one. Defund the CBC.
