Summary
What is the role of the federal government in dealing with anti-Israel protesters in Canada? Is there a role to be played by the Prime Minister, the Mayor, the police, the fire department, the military, the schools, the synagogues, the mosques, the day care centers, the hospitals, and the schools?

Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. Great to have you along today. It is the 25th of May, 540 a.m.
00:00:07.060
I do have my big blue mug of coffee. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
00:00:12.000
I certainly am out yesterday, my wife doing great work in our garden.
00:00:15.900
I put water stain down on the front porch. It looks outstanding. Everything's green here.
00:00:23.380
And you know, I got up this morning, I woke up 3, 3.30, early like usual.
00:00:31.340
I think sometimes I feel bad because I focus on negativity.
00:00:36.480
Let's face it, we kind of gravitate towards that stuff on YouTube.
00:00:41.120
There's not so much positive stuff. There's that old saying, it bleeds, if it bleeds, it leads.
00:00:47.900
But I got up this morning and I saw two stories that are totally unrelated,
00:00:54.940
Okay, but they're about as far apart as they can be.
00:00:59.180
And I thought, what would be the name of this video?
00:01:01.840
And I think I'm going to call it, I haven't made up my mind yet,
00:01:08.480
Now, the first story, I believe that the liberal government
00:01:15.000
That would be Justin Trudeau's government and now Mark Carney's government.
00:01:18.440
The second story, not so much, but there is a federal connection.
00:01:29.080
Out of the Toronto Sun, written by Joe Warmington.
00:01:32.280
York Centre MP pleads for Walk With Israel attendees to be kept safe.
00:01:36.900
This is happening this morning, so by the time you see this, this could be over.
00:01:41.160
Turning a blind eye to anti-Israel protesters is going to lead to someone being hurt or killed in the city.
00:01:47.760
Now, I'm not going to get deep into the Gaza thing.
00:01:51.580
I may get demonetized for what I say on this, but I don't care.
00:02:03.760
I think Israel, in some ways, has been too restrained in Gaza.
00:02:20.180
I think this would have been over long ago if they'd gone in and really lowered the boom.
00:02:24.380
Now, I'm not going to go any further than that.
00:02:26.940
But I do believe that the Liberal government does not support Israel.
00:02:30.300
Well, just in the last week, they say, along with France and UK,
00:02:33.760
they will likely impose sanctions on Israel for defending itself.
00:02:44.500
Those were among the many strong words newly elected Conservative MP Roman Baber used
00:02:49.540
to describe the ongoing scourge of threats and violence against Jews in Toronto.
00:02:54.300
An unprecedented wave of hate crimes is terrorizing the Jewish community across the country.
00:02:59.480
This is true in Toronto in particular, with three separate incidents of shootings at a Jewish day school
00:03:05.080
and firebombings of Jewish-owned businesses and synagogues.
00:03:09.340
And with all of that, the leadership of the Toronto Police and Mayor Olivia Chow have largely turned a blind eye.
00:03:17.420
Now, a disturbing protest is planned against the participants of the Walk with Israel,
00:03:23.940
scheduled for this Sunday morning, May the 25th, in North York.
00:03:27.340
Many members of Canada's Jewish community who plan to participate in Sunday's Walk are afraid for their safety.
00:03:37.200
An event where mass protesters can shout and promote violence against Jews,
00:03:43.140
intimidate local residents, and throw smoke bombs is not acceptable, is not peaceful, and is not lawful.
00:03:50.420
I know this is a really heavy subject, but it's going to get ridiculous in just a moment.
00:03:55.060
Remember the theme here is the priorities of the authorities.
00:03:59.020
So let's look at this issue that's going on in Toronto today from a federal standpoint.
00:04:04.960
What is the responsibility of the Liberal government?
00:04:07.200
Well, the Liberal government really doesn't speak out against these marches at all.
00:04:10.180
I think a lot of them agree with the other side.
00:04:15.340
Anita Anand made that quite clear when she spoke recently and talked about food distribution in Gaza.
00:04:24.420
There's a saying, the first casualty of war is the truth, so take it whatever way you want.
00:04:30.960
But I think the federal government under Justin Trudeau and now Mark Carney have a responsibility here
00:04:35.420
because they've done nothing to try to tamp down this type of hatred in the streets.
00:04:40.920
Now, I believe you have a right to say pretty much anything until somebody is threatened.
00:04:45.660
And people are getting threatened and don't feel safe because of these weekly marches.
00:04:51.520
Just on Wednesday, two Israeli embassy workers got shot down in the street.
00:04:55.560
The person that did it made it quite clear why they did it.
00:04:58.860
And I think it will inspire more people to do these things.
00:05:04.460
Now, the thing is, somebody else in the recent election was very clear
00:05:08.140
on how they felt about this hate in Canadian streets.
00:05:12.720
But unfortunately, too many people didn't vote for them.
00:05:16.460
My question is the same one I'm hearing from Jewish voters I've spoken to.
00:05:19.740
With the NDP and the Liberals making their stances known,
00:05:22.040
how will the Conservative government deal with Canada's Israel policy?
00:05:24.900
And what will you do to stop the near-weekly hate marches on Canadian streets?
00:05:32.520
The rampaging chaos that we see in our streets,
00:05:36.500
the targeting of synagogues and Jewish schools with hate,
00:05:43.000
vandalism, violence, fire bombings of synagogues,
00:05:50.600
Now, we've had, look, we've always had debates and disagreements about foreign issues in Canada.
00:05:57.460
But those disagreements did not spill into violence on our streets.
00:06:09.860
She's more likely to march with these hateful people in the streets on a weekly basis
00:06:22.060
I know he's the new prime minister, but it's the same Liberal government.
00:06:25.220
They've allowed millions of people to come into our country,
00:06:29.860
many that don't share our culture, our beliefs.
00:06:46.920
He's more concerned about, well, things coming across the border on the Internet.
00:06:52.220
Large American online platforms have become seas of racism, misogyny,
00:06:57.520
anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, and hate in all its forms.
00:07:02.260
And they're being used by criminals to harm our children.
00:07:13.700
And I'm not going to go on very long with this.
00:07:16.800
The first part of this, the marches in the streets have been going on for a year and a half.
00:07:21.140
The second part has been going on for months now.
00:07:24.500
And it shows you the priority of the authorities.
00:07:27.440
Now, does Mark Carney have anything to do with this second story?
00:07:30.820
But this is your federal government at work here.
00:07:33.320
Apparently, RCMP are monitoring this second story
00:07:37.420
and protesters at the farm because they're concerned about violence.
00:08:13.800
March in the street every weekend and yell hatred and threaten people all you want.
00:08:21.260
But we've got to kill them damn ostriches in B.C.
00:08:27.240
This is the priority of the federal government.
00:08:30.020
Again, Mark Carney hasn't got anything to do with the ostriches.
00:08:34.900
But he just goes to show you how out of control government, federal government can be.
00:08:45.000
He sends a letter to the head of the Canada Food Inspection Agency.
00:08:48.740
Let's cooperate, study, but do not kill the ostriches in B.C.
00:08:56.340
Apparently 20% of these ostriches died of avian flu.
00:09:02.920
But the feds, they've got to kill those ostriches,
00:09:06.420
and they've got to make sure there's no violence.
00:09:13.360
And the hate marches continue on a weekly basis.
00:09:21.660
If you like the video, please give me a thumbs up.
