00:00:33.420 problem here in Alberta. And for those of you about to click away because this is Alberta

00:00:38.600 centric, I think there's something to be learned here. Even if you live in the rest of Canada

00:00:42.260 or somewhere else, we need to learn from the tactics of the left. We need to turn these

00:00:48.680 things around on the left because left wing tactics are being used with recall petitions

00:00:54.620 here in Alberta. We're up to 18, maybe 19. I'll get to that in just a moment. We're getting

00:01:01.620 very close to a quarter of the sitting members of the legislature here in Alberta being recalled.

00:01:08.280 And this is getting ridiculous. I did a video on this the other day saying the UCP needs to

00:01:12.700 end this, but they say they're not going to because I think they're afraid if they do,

00:01:16.920 they'll be called authoritarian, even more authoritarian than they're already being called.

00:01:21.340 But what's the answer to this? So I started to think about some tactics on the left, and by no

00:01:30.300 means are these the only tactics they use, but a couple of things came to mind today, and I thought

00:01:34.640 we could use at least one of these against this recall petition madness. This might seem out there,

00:01:39.980 but I'm going to go there today. I like to think a little bit outside the box. Now the first one I'm

00:01:45.860 going to talk about here has nothing to do with recall petitions, but it's all about overwhelming

00:01:50.540 the system to enact change. And it's this one, the Cloward and Piven strategy. Let me read this to

00:01:57.200 you. You learned something here. The Cloward-Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966

00:02:03.480 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven. The strategy aims

00:02:10.420 to utilize militant anti-poverty groups to facilitate a political crisis by overloading the welfare system

00:02:16.800 via an increase in welfare claims, forcing the creation of a system of guaranteed minimum income

00:02:22.480 and redistributing income through the federal government. So as you can tell by those last

00:02:27.100 couple of things there, they're far leftists. So overwhelm the system. You know, you might even

00:02:31.620 think that what's going on right now when it comes to this petition program, that the left is

00:02:36.260 overwhelming the system right now because we're almost up to a quarter of the MLAs, as I said.

00:02:41.160 Now, the other thing I was thinking about here was Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky. Now,

00:02:47.400 if you don't know what the rules are, I've mentioned this on occasion on this channel.

00:02:50.320 If you don't know what the rules are, you will understand the mindset of the left even more because

00:02:54.520 a lot of them worship Saul Alinsky and what are the rules for radicals. They're easy to read.

00:02:59.600 There's only 13 of them. And if you read the rules for radicals, you will understand how the left

00:03:04.440 uses these things against people who are conservatives. There's a number of them here.

00:03:10.020 I've just highlighted a couple of them in orange. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. A good tactic

00:03:15.100 is one your people enjoy. Keep the pressure on. Pick the target. Freeze it. Personalize it and

00:03:24.700 what they did to Pure Poly. But it's this one right here. Number four, make the enemy live up to its 0.94

00:03:29.500 own book of rules. And when I was thinking about this petition program that we've got here in

00:03:35.460 Alberta and how the left is using it against United Conservative Party politicians, I thought of that

00:03:40.700 rule immediately. Because who set the rules? Jason Kenney and the United Conservative Party set up

00:03:45.900 the rules for recalls. And they didn't set it up properly. And I said that the other day. Jason Kenney

00:03:52.120 said there had to be specific parameters so it wasn't abused. This is what he said.

00:03:56.360 I think the thresholds to trigger a by-election as a result of a recall petition have to be high

00:04:05.200 enough to avoid frivolous abuse of the recall mechanism by special interest groups. Listen,

00:04:13.320 if we form a United Conservative government, we're going to have to make some tough fiscal decisions.

00:04:18.740 And some of the NDP, big spending interest groups, are going to be ticked off. And if we have a recall

00:04:24.580 law in place, I can see them immediately trying to disrupt the government and prevent us from

00:04:44.680 difficult in many ridings to get 10 or 15 percent of like the NDP supporters to sign a recall petition.

00:06:11.620 the NDP. And as soon as I saw that, first one for NDP, I thought, what took conservatives in this

00:06:18.560 province so long to start this process against Amanda Chapman? The first NDP to join the list of

00:06:27.140 Alberta MLAs facing recall petitions, as four new petitions were issued on Friday, raising the total

00:06:32.520 18. And when I saw that, and I thought, what took us so long? I thought, we need to overwhelm the system

00:06:38.900 to end it. It's the only way to stop this absurdity, because it's ridiculous. Now, if you look at the

00:06:46.580 current recall list, there's 18 names here. Danielle Smith's not there yet. I was wondering why, and I know

00:06:52.820 why, because she hasn't responded to this yet. Heather Van Snick said she received a letter from

00:06:59.320 Elections Alberta saying she will be getting the go-ahead to start the petition drive.

00:07:03.720 But Danielle Smith has not filed a response yet. She has seven days. As soon as she files a response,

00:07:10.080 she'll end up on this list. And here's what you need to understand. All you have to do is start the

00:07:15.520 process to get somebody on this list. And the process is the punishment. So if you happen to be

00:07:22.380 somebody who has an NDP MLA, overwhelm this system, start the process to recall all of them.

00:07:33.360 All of them. Because right now, we're almost a quarter of the MLAs getting recalled. If it gets to

00:07:42.360 half, don't you think eventually the UCP, United Conservative Party, and Danielle Smith are going to

00:07:47.260 say, this has got to end. This is making a mockery of the recall system. And maybe they'll rewrite the

00:07:53.660 legislation. By the way, just to let you know, my guy's on the list. Rick McIver, I think he's the

00:08:02.460 current speaker in the legislature from Calgary Hayes. My guy's on the list. But if you currently

00:08:08.500 have an NDP MLA, tomorrow morning, start the process to recall them and this will end. That's
