00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. It is 4 26 a.m. Saturday, July the 25th. I hope you're
00:00:12.140 having a fantastic weekend so far. Thank you so much for being here. I'm going to read a little
00:00:17.800 bit of an article in the National Post today, which I really enjoyed. I'll put a link in the
00:00:22.380 description so you can read the whole thing. I'm not going to read the whole article to you and
00:00:25.700 keep it short, boomers drunk on CBC are the source of Carney's power. And this just brought 0.75
00:00:31.440 back images of what happened during the election last April the 28th. And there's an interesting
00:00:36.460 parallel here between the boomers who voted for Carney and the Alberta independence movement.
00:00:42.020 Much of us in the independence movement, when we talk to people who are sitting on the fence when
00:00:46.360 it comes to voting for Alberta independence, or talk to people who are all in for forever Canadian
00:00:51.920 and are going to vote on the opposite side, we often tell them you're remembering a Canada that
00:00:56.780 no longer exists. And this is what the boomers voted for last year. They think the Canada that
00:01:02.560 was still exists because they live in relative comfort and ease and aren't thinking about their
00:01:08.800 children and grandchildren, unlike the people on my side, which I'll show you in just a moment.
00:01:13.960 You know, there used to be a country out there called Canada that used to control immigration,
00:01:18.100 that used to have fairly priced housing, that used to have a manageable cost of living,
00:01:23.040 that had a competitive per capita GDP, respected rights, respected its history and was proud of it,
00:01:28.920 and controlled deficits and debt and on and on and on. But that country no longer exists.
00:01:33.800 Under the liberals, we're in managed decline. Okay. And let me just show you a couple of people
00:01:39.620 here. I don't know that you remember this video during the election campaign last year. These
00:01:44.620 people are indicative of the downfall of Canada and its mediocrity.
00:01:53.040 Hi, my name's Kate. I can tell you why you shouldn't vote for Pierre Paulyev.
00:01:57.920 He's a liar. He's a thief. Are you casting this? Because I want to tell everybody this. 1.00
00:02:03.500 These people have been infected with a liberal mind virus. There used to be a hashtag you'd see
00:02:08.680 on X and other social media. Liberalism is a mental disorder. And, you know, it used to be 1.00
00:02:14.640 a little bit crass to put that in a post, but I believe that now. I think these people have been
00:02:20.220 manipulated in a way that a lot of us who are a little bit younger can understand. You know,
00:02:25.280 what's fascinating about this? I missed the baby boom by a year. The baby boomers go up to 1964. 0.97
00:02:30.960 I was born in 65. Amazing how one year can provide so much clarity to somebody's mind, 0.99
00:02:38.140 because I don't think like these people because I'm not infected.
00:02:41.700 And these people get infected by the CBC.
00:02:44.180 Let's go over and read a little bit of this article.
00:02:46.340 Again, the link in the description so you can read it.
00:02:48.340 You're going to love this article.
00:02:50.440 Boomers drunk on CBC, the Canadian Broad Corp and castration, are the source of Carney's power.
00:02:56.440 The results of an abacus data survey have again revealed which generations are keeping the rotten Liberal Party popular and in power. 0.85
00:03:04.200 It's the baby boomers in the silent generation, of course.
00:03:08.720 The new survey released on Sunday showed that among Canadians age 60 and over,
00:03:13.840 the Liberals lead the Conservatives by 20 points, 52% to 32%. 0.93
00:03:18.660 Without the boomers and their elders, our red and blue parties would be neck and neck in the pools. 0.99
00:03:23.760 You know, it's really fascinating. You remember seeing these people here. 0.99
00:03:27.260 You know, somewhere along the line, somebody's going to write a book called
00:03:30.600 the road to Canada's mediocrity or the road to Canada's downfall. And you know what they're
00:03:36.160 going to put on the front cover? They're going to put a picture of an elbow because these people
00:03:40.400 who have been affected with the liberal brain rot or mind virus, as I called it,
00:03:45.520 they're all elbows up and they still are. They're propping up Carney's failing government. The
00:03:51.160 country is coming apart, folks. Wake up. Think about your kids and your grandkids like my side
00:03:57.660 does. Again, proof on that in just a moment. More than 10.8 million Canadians were age 60 or over
00:04:03.880 in 2025, which represented more than a quarter of Canada's population. Older Canadians are more 0.98
00:04:09.320 likely to vote in federal elections. They are also the most out of touch with the struggles of the 0.53
00:04:14.960 average Canadian, largely insulated by economic privilege from the fallout of our lost, our liberal
00:04:20.960 lost decade. That undeniable generational privilege says nothing of the stark difference in mentality
00:04:27.260 between those whose information diet comes from cable news.
00:04:31.080 A recent survey says that among Canadians 65 and older,
00:04:34.760 75% use television as their main news source,
00:04:38.520 with CBC being the most watched.
00:04:41.320 I haven't watched the CBC in years.
00:04:43.500 I watch CBC coverage, but I watch it on social media,
00:04:47.560 YouTube, places like that.
00:04:48.840 I'm wondering, is the national even still a thing?
00:04:52.080 Don't know.
00:04:52.700 I remember watching Knowlton Nash and Peter Mansbridge.
00:04:55.680 That's the last time I watched it. I dumped cable going on 15 years ago.
00:05:01.020 Don't even know what the CBC has on when they're actually broadcasting.
00:05:06.020 There was a disconnect in the minds of older Canadians between bad liberal policy and our societal decay. 0.58
00:05:13.360 It's obvious where it comes from.
00:05:15.340 Citizens should expect our national broadcaster to engage in nonpartisan news reporting.
00:05:20.080 And years long past, the CBC arguably did, or at least did a marginally better job at it.
00:05:26.300 These days, the CBC frames Prime Minister Carney's failures as successes and Conservative
00:05:31.460 Leader Pierre Polyev as an angry parliamentary jester like those people I just showed you in
00:05:37.100 that video. The mind virus has got to them, folks, and they're being fed this by the CBC.
00:05:43.200 Carney's utter failure to negotiate with U.S. President Trump on any matter was craftily
00:05:48.680 turned into this recent headline. For instance, Carney says Trump agreed to intensified trade
00:05:54.300 talks after a 50% tariff threat. Meanwhile, the CBC has described Polyev as having
00:05:59.600 lashed out at Carney for an alleged, alleged failure to negotiate with Trump.
00:06:05.420 Carney has in fact been failing and losing and in spectacular fashion. That's not a matter of
00:06:11.280 Polyev's opinion. Trump is now blaming Carney for the weather and wind patterns, a reflection
00:06:15.940 of what little respect he holds for the prime minister. You know, I did a video, many videos
00:06:21.100 on this. It's not Trump's fault. It's the liberals' fault. They're stupid. And you need to understand,
00:06:29.400 baby boomers, that Donald Trump, the 51st state thing, and the tariffs are about 18 months old. 0.95
00:06:36.280 The liberal threat is now 11 years old. And back last year when I voted for Pierre Polyev,
00:06:43.000 it was the liberal lost decade. You bought the threat of Donald Trump hook, line, and sinker.
00:06:49.460 Like you were rats in a maze, the liberals led you along to vote for them. And it was against
00:06:55.000 your best interests and your grandchildren's best interests. You know what this is like?
00:07:00.460 This is akin to what happened during COVID. You know, I didn't buy COVID when I was told
00:07:06.660 I had to walk a specific direction down an aisle in a grocery store. Remember the arrows?
00:07:11.620 Remember the arrows? I was told if I went in the opposite direction, I was more likely to get a
00:07:16.840 virus. I called out the BS then and there. I could not be controlled. I was no longer a rat in a maze.
00:07:23.540 I knew I was being manipulated. You boomers, what you did was you went to the manager and tried to 0.98
00:07:29.760 get me thrown out of the grocery store. And voting for the liberals was the same thing. You played
00:07:35.860 right along. You were rats in a maze. You were manipulated. COVID was a psyop. You got to hand 0.99
00:07:41.760 it to the liberals. They learned a lot during COVID and they treated you exactly the same way
00:07:47.300 and you played along. Let's go back over to our story. Once again, just the last couple of
00:07:52.380 paragraphs here. It's telling that the latest Abacus survey showed that 64% of Canadians
00:07:58.020 listed the rising cost of living as a top concern. Well, only 32% ranked housing affordability and
00:08:04.960 accessibility is highly. When swaths of us are spending more than half of our income on housing,
00:08:10.900 the two issues should be inseparable in terms of priority. One can't live without housing after all,
00:08:16.660 nor can one thrive on the dwindling amount left over after rent or mortgage payments. This data
00:08:22.260 is likely a reflection of how the relatively wealthy 60 plus generations don't have a care
00:08:28.340 in the world about the cost of homes. Theirs are paid off. They're simply annoyed with spending
00:08:34.000 more on groceries. If you're under 60 in Canada and feel like you're screaming your concerns about
00:08:40.240 the country into the wind, that's probably because you are. Amazing how interesting things are when
00:08:48.640 it comes to the independence movement in Canada right now. I can clearly see that Canada of the
00:08:54.340 past is gone, and people who voted for Polyev could see the same thing last year, the independence
00:09:00.480 movement telling the people on the other side and those sitting on the fence that canada you
00:09:05.120 remember is gone we want something that's better people on my side care about their grandchildren
00:09:12.560 for some reason the baby boomers who voted liberal don't here's proof when i discovered 0.59
00:09:18.240 they were telling me the truth i jumped in with both feet for my grandchildren because it's not 0.79
00:09:23.200 going to do me any good but my grandchildren need to be free to prosper that sentiment from my
00:09:29.600 My friend Wade, who had a tear coming to his eye when he said that back in January to me,
00:09:33.980 is very, very common among people who want Alberta independence and common among people
00:09:38.440 who didn't vote liberal in the election last year. There's a quote I'd like to read off to
00:09:43.940 you. The deterioration of every government begins with the decay of the principles on which it was
00:09:49.160 founded. Charles Louis de Secondat. That's his quote. I guess we can add decay to decline and
00:09:56.620 mediocrity in Canada. Thank you very much for watching. Link in the description to the National
00:10:01.380 Post story. Read the whole thing. I think you'll enjoy it. If you like this video, give it a thumbs
00:10:05.220 up, subscribe to the channel, ring the bell for notifications. I will see you in the next one.
