00:00:38.600 12 months. And what's really strange is I have this mug with me every time I sit down

00:00:42.500 here. And I never knew this mug would become the symbol of my channel. I had no idea. I

00:00:48.680 can't remember the first time that I raised this mug on this channel, but I become the

00:00:52.600 guy with the big blue mug. And a lot of you know my name now. I can't believe it. I remember

00:01:00.040 going out on May 3rd out to the Alberta legislature and I had people coming up to me, so many nice

00:01:04.600 people coming up to me and shaking my hand and thanking me and wanting to be seen with

00:01:09.600 the big blue mug. I take it everywhere I go now. I do. I did the same thing at the Alberta

00:01:14.100 legislature on October 25th at the independence rally there. I took the big blue mug with me.

00:01:19.040 And again, so many nice people. I want you to understand something here. And I mean this.

00:01:26.480 This is not just lip service. I mean this. I feel like we're part of a family, but not

00:02:31.320 get too political here. We're getting our message out. And YouTube is a big way to do it. That's why

00:02:37.540 the liberals want to take control of the internet, to control the message. The media is the message.

00:03:00.780 every day. And my friend, Scott, who was my best man at my wedding in 2004 and was here in 2024 and

00:03:07.640 stood up again for me when I renewed my vows with my wife, asked me back in the summertime,

00:03:12.740 what am I doing now? And I said, well, I said, I guess I'm a YouTuber. He said, what? I said,

00:03:19.180 I guess I'm a YouTuber. I do YouTube videos. He said, really? And I said, yeah, Scott, I want you to

00:03:24.980 understand something. The month before the election, when things were really going crazy, I said,

00:03:32.120 I had more people watch videos on my YouTube channel than probably heard me on the radio in

00:03:37.920 my entire three decade career. And he said, what? I'm not kidding you. That is true.

00:03:48.260 So I get up every morning with a renewed sense of vibrancy and excitement because I love doing this.

00:03:54.560 I really do. It's a lot of fun for me, but here's an amazing statistic for you. And it's because of

00:04:02.160 you again. Thank you. I had this channel for, I don't know how long, maybe 10 years before I

00:04:07.960 actually started doing videos in December of 2024. And there were about 400 people subscribing to my

00:04:14.080 channel for years. And I don't think many of them realized they were subscribed anymore because I

00:04:17.880 didn't hardly ever put videos on this channel. So at this time last year, about 400 people were

00:04:23.920 subscribers to this YouTube channel. And yesterday, yesterday I clicked 43,000 subscribers.

00:04:33.440 It's remarkable. And it's because of you. It's why I get up every day. And honestly, I feel like I

00:04:41.180 want to do more. And there's some big things coming up in the new year as well. Like I said, you know,

00:04:45.320 there's some things coming up obviously in Alberta that are going to be huge this year. I'm going to be

00:04:50.320 working with other people in upcoming months. But what I want you to do is, if you go to other

00:04:56.900 channels regularly and you haven't subscribed, you're part of their family if you watch them

00:05:01.100 regularly. Most people watch videos and never hit subscribe, subscribe to those channels. Those other

00:05:07.480 people I mentioned or the people you go to regularly, subscribe to their channels because we're all part of

00:05:12.520 the family here. And I know they appreciate you as much as I do. This channel has changed my life in
