00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. Tuesday, September the 29th, 4 11 AM. I hope
00:00:08.500 you're having a great start to your Tuesday. Thank you so much for being here. And today
00:00:13.680 I want to get right to the point. Yesterday's video went on far too long. I'm going to keep
00:00:17.940 this below 10 minutes and I want to talk about a couple of things today. First off, I'm going
00:00:22.480 to prove to you that Mark Carney is responsible for 350 to 500 people in Ontario losing their
00:00:29.800 jobs over the last couple of days. Many more can be attributed to Mark Carney since he's been
00:00:34.640 prime minister, but we're going to prove that these jobs were lost because of him and his
00:00:38.860 liberal government. Now, the other thing I want to talk about today, and I've mentioned this on
00:00:42.700 the channel before, have we reached peak Trump? And when I say that, I mean peak Trump derangement
00:00:49.700 syndrome, because I think we may finally be getting there. An article I read this morning
00:00:54.240 had me thinking that way. And it was a warning to you as well, which we'll get into in just a
00:01:00.660 moment. So let's go over to this quote. You know, I like quotes. This is a great one from Mike
00:01:04.860 Tyson. Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Okay. What's the translation of
00:01:10.900 that? You can prepare all you want, but sudden chaos or stress will test your strategy. And
00:01:17.240 we're at a point where there's a lot of chaos and stress and the strategy may be coming to an end
00:01:21.760 for Mark Carney and the Liberals. So beware what's coming maybe before the end of the year.
00:01:26.360 More on that in just a moment. So what are we talking about here today? How has Mark Carney
00:01:30.540 caused 350 people to 500 people to lose their jobs, high-paying jobs by the way, in Ontario?
00:01:38.080 There's this from the CBC. We have breaking news out of Hamilton, Ontario this hour. With a
00:01:43.520 connection to the trade war, hundreds of steel workers at the city's Stelco plant will be laid
00:01:48.760 off indefinitely next month as the company contends with low prices and a
00:01:53.220 tariff-impacted market in Canada. The CBC's Mark Harkasol is following. In the
00:01:57.880 face of continued market uncertainty and prolonged injury to Stelco's business
00:02:01.600 resulting largely from steel imports into Canada, and we'll get to that in a
00:02:05.560 minute, we've been forced to make this very difficult decision that will impact
00:02:10.180 as many as 500 Stelco employees. So in July the head of the company had an
00:02:16.140 an investor call and blamed cheap steel imports coming in from places like China and Turkey,
00:02:21.320 in addition to the tariffs, the 50% tariffs on Canadian steel imports to the U.S.
00:02:26.160 These job losses, up to 500 people, high-paying jobs at Stelco in Ontario,
00:02:31.440 these job losses are being blamed on Turkey and China dumping their steel in Canada,
00:02:36.520 the responsibility of Mark Carney and the Liberal Party,
00:02:39.100 and the tariffs that Donald Trump put on the steel.
00:02:42.000 Now, this plays right into the people with Trump derangement syndrome.
00:02:44.840 it's all Donald Trump's fault. But no, ladies and gentlemen, I contend these jobs would have been
00:02:49.300 saved if Mark Carney and the Liberal Party hadn't walked away from a trade deal they agreed on up
00:02:54.760 until the last minute just a couple of weeks ago. And how do I know this? This is what Jameson Greer,
00:03:00.520 U.S. trade representative, had to say on U.S. television after the trade talks broke down.
00:03:06.340 Listen closely to what he says about aluminum and steel. The Canadians, of course, then came to us.
00:03:12.720 they asked us for a deal, like many other countries. We offered a deal. They already
00:03:17.340 have a lot of duty-free stuff coming in. We offered to give them more, cut steel and aluminum
00:03:21.720 tariffs in half, cut auto tariffs down, remove certain tariffs on lumber. They looked at the
00:03:27.560 deal, agreed to elements of it, a few days later said, no, we can't do that. And we said, okay.
00:03:32.320 I mean, they suspended the talks. Cut aluminum and steel tariffs in half was part of the deal
00:03:37.840 that Mark Carney walked away from. And until we hear it from him and the other people that
00:03:42.500 we're negotiating with the Americans, I believe Jameson Greer, because they're telling us what
00:03:47.820 happened. Mark Carney's hiding in the United States. He's not talking to journalists about
00:03:51.940 the trade deal. I think these jobs have been lost because of him. A couple of weeks later,
00:03:57.320 the tariffs are still there. They didn't get cut in half and all these people are losing their
00:04:01.800 jobs. If I worked at Stelco in Ontario, I'd be picketing outside of Stelco today with a big
00:04:07.460 sign saying, Mark Carney, save our jobs, get a trade deal. And look at how the CBC frames this,
00:04:14.220 Trump's trade war. This should say Mark Carney's incompetence. Meanwhile, in the United States of
00:04:21.080 America, let's talk about steel. Today, we're thrilled to announce that
00:04:25.220 Mesabi Metallics will be building the largest steel plant in American history in the great
00:04:32.100 state of Iowa. It's the largest plant, one of the largest plants in the world, but it's the largest
00:04:36.660 plant in america by far pro-american policies of the trump administration under sleepy joe biden
00:04:44.660 have you heard of steel production declined significantly and nearly 200 000 manufacturing
00:04:51.140 jobs were lost in the year before i took office and they were leaving they were losing these jobs
00:04:57.140 at record numbers but soon after my inauguration i imposed powerful 50 percent tariffs on all
00:05:04.020 foreign steel and now our steel industry is roaring back to life everyone's building their
00:05:09.060 plant here because they don't want to pay tariffs steel jobs leaving canada steel jobs opening up
00:05:14.980 in the united states of america and what is donald trump up to here what does he want to do
00:05:20.340 here's jameson greer again he says the word re-shore and when he talks about reshoring he
00:05:26.740 brings up aluminum steel and the cherry on the top of the sundae he said it in the previous clip as
00:05:33.700 well. The reality is President Trump is comfortable where we are in Canada. Our trade policy is a
00:05:38.800 global policy. It applies to Canada, China, the UK, Brazil, all kinds of countries. He has his
00:05:45.320 tariffs on steel aluminum autos to reshore and to reshore and to reshore. And we're making more
00:05:50.700 steel we've ever made in recent years. We ship more steel than Japan did. The auto lines are
00:05:56.760 coming back and putting in new shifts. So that's all happening. Every time Jamison Greer opens his
00:06:02.220 mouth. He talks about aluminum steel and he talks about autos and Donald Trump would surely love to
00:06:08.420 reshore the automotive industry from Ontario to the United States of America. And you know that
00:06:13.700 this is coming in January 1st. If there's no deal, 50% tariffs hit cars and steel. And you remember
00:06:20.680 in that first clip I played you of Jameson Greer, he said they were going to cut tariffs on aluminum
00:06:25.680 steel and autos. Cut steel aluminum tariffs in half, you know, cut auto tariffs down.
00:06:32.220 What's that saying again from Mike Tyson? Everyone has a plan until they get punched
00:06:36.560 in the mouth. Imagine if Donald Trump reshores the automotive industry back into the United
00:06:41.840 States and takes the jobs from Ontario. It will be a knockout punch. It won't just be
00:06:46.740 a punch in the mouth. That means Mark Carney has to walk fast, which takes me to the next
00:06:50.980 part of this video today. Are we reaching peak Trump? Because I saw this article this
00:06:56.380 morning that got me thinking this way. You and I have been thinking this way for more
00:06:59.740 than a year. We've said that it's not Trump's fault. It's the liberals' fault. Eby is responsible
00:07:06.460 for B.C.'s problems, not Trump. But of course, he's using Donald Trump as a reason to go to an
00:07:11.460 election two years early. And that may be Mark Carney's plan as well. B.C.'s premier is well
00:07:16.380 aware of the strong anti-Trump sentiment in the province and clearly wants to capitalize on it
00:07:21.140 to smokescreen voters into believing that everything that has failed in British Columbia
00:07:25.720 on his watch is Trump's fault. I'm going to read these three quick paragraphs to you in just a
00:07:30.120 moment after showing you this article from Brian Lilly, why Carney might gamble on a December
00:07:35.680 election. He might have to do this for the reasons that Lilly states here in this subtitle.
00:07:41.960 A Canada-EU summit, U.S. midterms, and favorable polls could give the prime minister every reason
00:07:47.380 to seek a fresh mandate before Christmas, but also waning Trump derangement syndrome after
00:07:53.720 the new year if the automotive industry leaves would be reason for Carney to go to an election
00:07:58.840 early. He can't allow that to happen. Now let's go back and read these last three paragraphs from
00:08:04.560 this article right here and just insert into these three paragraphs liberals and Mark Carney. Think
00:08:13.540 of it from that standpoint. Let us not kid ourselves that the BC NDP is a political party
00:08:19.360 with any solutions for how to fix its own failed policies. After nine years in power and just put
00:08:24.880 11 in there for the Liberals, the NDP is simply out of ideas. Ordinary British Columbians need
00:08:30.960 to wake up to the fact that the NDP's failings are acute. No matter your feelings about Trump,
00:08:36.560 he is not the author of the political mess the province finds itself in today. Think of that
00:08:43.180 from a federal standpoint. Remember that as you mark your ballot, it is time to stand against
00:08:49.160 EB's completely self-serving attempt to keep himself in power for as long as possible. And
00:08:55.060 that's what Mark Carney is going to do, ladies and gentlemen, if we go to an election early.
00:09:01.580 You know, I did this the other day, and this is the thumbnail from the video I did the other day.
00:09:05.960 Let me put it up on the screen for you here. Carney's casualties, the economy, jobs, paychecks,
00:09:11.280 but mostly you. You are expendable to Mark Carney for the power, for the money,
00:09:18.260 for the new world order. Thank you very much for watching. I hope you liked this video. If you did,
00:09:27.220 please give it a thumbs up. Subscribe to the channel. Please subscribe to the channel.
00:09:30.940 Ring the bell for notifications. I'll see you in the next one.
