Juno News - Announcing： The News Cruise!

Rebel News and our friends at Juno News are teaming up for a super cruise this year, the first time our two companies have worked together on something like this. It'll be the vacation of a lifetime! You won't just get to hang out with your favorite Rebel News team, but the Juno team will be with us too. Here's Ezra and Kian to tell you more about it.

00:00:00.000 Rebel News loves our cruises. We came up with the idea because we take no government money,

00:00:05.660 so we needed a fundraiser and it was a great way to do it. But they become a really well-loved

00:00:10.940 part of what Rebel News does each year. Some people come on the cruise every year. We bring

00:00:16.260 aboard your favorite Rebels like Sheila Gunn-Reed and David Menzies and Alexa Lavoie. And we also

00:00:21.940 bring friends of Rebel News like Tamara Leach. Well, have I got some news for you. Rebel News

00:00:27.780 and our friends at Juno News are teaming up for a super cruise this year, the first time our two

00:00:34.620 companies have worked together on something like this. It'll be the vacation of a lifetime. You

00:00:39.220 won't just be able to hang out with your favorite Rebels, but the Juno team will be with us too.

00:00:44.080 Here's Juno's Kian Bextie to tell you more about it. Thanks, Ezra. Juno News and Rebel News are the

00:00:49.200 only two independent news networks in the entire country and all of Canada that do not take a dime

00:00:54.060 of government money. So it's not surprising that many of our supporters like both of us.

00:00:59.700 This cruise is going to be a great way for Juno News supporters and Rebel News supporters to spend

00:01:04.560 some time together and with us a week aboard the luxurious Holland America line as we sail

00:01:09.900 through the Caribbean Sea stopping in some pretty amazing ports for some sightseeing. But the best part

00:01:14.800 really is going to be when we're at sea because that's when our special panel discussions happen,

00:01:19.140 speeches, special activities. And of course, we're all going to be having dinner together every single night

00:01:23.700 and we're going to be rotating through tables of special guests. So you might have me at your

00:01:28.680 dinner table one night, Ezra Levant at your dinner table the next night, and someone else the following

00:01:33.700 night. We're going to have some VIP guests here joining us on this cruise. So it's going to be a

00:01:38.380 really exciting time. Thanks, Kian. I think this is going to be really fun. Technically, Rebel and Juno

00:01:43.540 are competitors, but we have a lot in common in our belief in independent journalism and freedom of

00:01:49.000 speech. I think our viewers are absolutely going to love this trip to see the best of both

00:01:53.980 companies. And as I mentioned, it's a fundraiser for each of us too. So this cruise is going to be

00:01:58.940 taking place from November 28th to December 5th of this year, 2026, in the Eastern Caribbean,

00:02:04.040 departing from Fort Lauderdale and sailing aboard Holland America lines MS Eurodam. It's a beautiful

00:02:10.200 ship with great food, some awesome activities, and we're going to be visiting Grand Turk, San Juan,

00:02:16.100 St. Thomas, and a private beach island called Half Moon Cay. You can see all of the details at

00:02:22.400 thenewscruise.com. Thanks, Kian. This is the first time we're doing something like this,

00:02:28.080 bringing Juno News and Rebel News journalists and fans together in person and see for a full week

00:02:33.580 of conversation, learning, relaxation, and fun. So head on over to thenewscruise.com for the vacation

00:02:42.220 of a lifetime. That's thenewscruise.com. See you on the high seas.
