00:08:43.640And now the Brantford police is stating in the statement, they are aware of a viral video on social media depicting an assault involving youth.

00:09:18.320and they told me the Brantford police service has not taken action I saw this video I'm like
00:09:23.060how is that even possible this is like straight video evidence of these children three of them
00:09:28.860ganging up this guy is beating her over the head with the speaker and they haven't taken action so
00:09:34.360i made that video and within four hours of that video getting posted the branford police said
00:09:39.500they started an investigation and have another great update to share with you all they have
00:09:43.280charged the two children that you see in the video there the third one that was holding the speaker
00:09:49.980unfortunately in our laws today because they are under the age of 12 will not be charged you can't
00:09:56.680charge them which is crazy to me and then the person recording um cannot be charged either

00:11:15.960Justice Act, they're essentially going to get a slap on the wrist, okay? I hope this is a lesson
00:11:20.600and can change things. But from my understanding, this group is a violent group that constantly does
00:11:26.160this all the time, these children. And so I want to be hopeful that things can change, but
00:11:32.260very well may not be the case. But again, this is disgusting to me. It doesn't make sense why
00:11:39.340In a world today where if something's captured on video, we should be able to book them, charge them, hold them accountable to the full extent of the law, and give this family some justice, right?

00:11:58.700As parents, we need to do a better job of parenting.

Forget the partisan issue of things. A leader would accept responsibility and say, you know what? Housing did get detached from reality. The cost of living is significantly higher. We haven't invested in innovation.
