Tamara Leach was arrested again on June 27 after a Canada-wide warrant was put out for her for alleged breach of court condition. Her arrest resulted in lots of reactions across the country, and I wanted to get the reaction of Canadians who came to Ottawa for the arrival of veteran James Topp and the celebrations of Canada Day, what they thought of Leach's arrest.

00:00:00.320 Freedom Convoy leader Tamara Leach was arrested again on June 27 after a Canada-wide warrant was put out for her for alleged breach of court condition.
00:00:14.680 Her arrest resulted in lots of reactions across the country and I wanted to get the reaction of Canadians who came to Ottawa for the arrival of veteran James Topp
00:00:25.380 and the celebrations of Canada Day, what they thought of Leach's arrest.
00:00:31.840 What did you make of Tamara Leach being arrested a second time? 0.88
00:00:34.860 Well, I think it's totally political and it's just Justin Trudeau's way of putting pressure on people and trying to discourage us from standing up for freedom.
00:00:47.700 And the crime that she was charged with is a misdemeanor. It should have been maybe some probation, but what's happened to her now is terrible.
00:00:58.660 I feel for her. I'm ashamed of the people who are carrying out these orders.
00:01:04.980 So I was very, very sad and I lost some sleep that night when my daughter told me around 7 p.m. she said she's been arrested at Medicine Hat.
00:01:16.900 I said, what? To me, she's a beacon of light and hope.
00:01:21.940 I just feel that it's harassment. I do feel badly for her.
00:01:26.960 It's just harassment. More harassment. And I just have to pray. Pray for her.
00:01:36.400 The fact that they're wasting taxpayers' money on such a beautiful person who is only in Alberta singing her heart out,
00:01:43.380 that they would make that effort just to jab us in the side.
00:01:47.920 But we're strong. There's more of us together than we are alone, you know?
00:01:54.600 And I just think, yeah, it was appalling. It's very appalling.
00:01:58.400 Everything that's happening is very appalling.
00:02:00.800 Well, to me, it seems to be, you know, the bait tactic, right?
00:02:04.820 Trying to see if they can rile up some crowds to stir up some controversy here at Canada Day.
00:02:10.340 So hopefully everyone just stays respectful, you know, and doesn't take the bait because that's what they want, right?
00:02:15.160 To try to spin it, you know, like, say, the mainstream media, Trudeau liberals, right?
00:02:19.460 They want to spin it and use her as basically a political prisoner to bait people into doing something unsavory, right? 1.00
00:02:25.940 Just to try to cause controversy, so that's what they can capture on the news and try to spin it for, you know, their narrative.
00:02:31.540 So hopefully everyone remains peaceful, and hopefully she gets a fair, you know, shot at the bail as well coming out.
00:02:36.540 So basically it.
00:02:38.380 Do you have anything to add?
00:02:39.240 If it wasn't a political example, it's, as my husband just said, it was also just trying to set an example to us of, look what can happen to you.
00:02:48.040 Like, we'll throw you in here as well this weekend if you are disrespectful. 0.80
00:02:51.140 So she's arrested for getting a picture taken with someone else who values freedom in Canada.
00:02:57.480 So you can't get your picture taken.
00:03:01.460 You're all a bunch of freaks out there, and you know it, because what you're doing is trying to vilify and demonize true freedom-loving people.
00:03:09.660 I know Tom Mazzaro.
00:03:11.560 I know Tamara Leach. 1.00
00:03:13.120 And these people love Canada and love freedom. 0.99
00:03:16.840 So it's really dumb. 0.97
00:03:18.160 Now you've arrested her, almost like you were trying to stir up anger, almost like you were trying to make a problem when there didn't need to be a problem. 0.98
00:03:29.020 So now we have political prisoners in Canada.
00:03:32.500 What are we, China?
00:03:34.680 Is the PM's love of China now turning into running our country like that?
00:03:38.960 I don't know.
00:03:39.900 As you saw, people are upset that she was arrested.
